Alicia Keys' 8-Year-Old Son Stands Guard On Stage During Her Performance

Alicia Keys decided to recruit a special security guard to protect her from any rowdy fans.

On Monday, July 31, Swizz Beatz posted photos of their 8-year-old son Genesis standing next to his mother as she performed during a recent stop on her "Keys To The Summer Tour." You can see the young man standing guard with a serious look on his face while she played the piano. His father was more than supportive of his son's decide to protect his mom. In his caption, Swizz praised his son for going above and beyond to ensure Keys' safety.

"My boy said I’m not playing no games on moms stage 😂😂😂😂" Swizz wrote. "He a real serious one 😂 Thank you Gen we love you and your protection 😂 He didn’t care she was live on stage 😂😂😂😂."

Genesis made sure no one from crowd threw anything at his mom like others have done at other shows. This isn't the first time Genesis has tried to look out for Keys. Prior to his security gig, Genesis tried to act as his mom's stylist after he criticized Keys' outfit during another tour stop. In the hilarious video, you can see her son attempt to change Keys' mind about wearing heart-shaped pasties instead of a bra.

"Are you really going to do this, Mom?" Genesis said to his mom, who reassured him it was cool. "So everybody can see your boobs?"

Clearly, Genesis only has his mom's interests in mind. Luckily for him, Keys only has two more show dates before her tour wraps up in Los Angeles.
