Morgan Wade Drops Sultry Video With Kyle Richards Amid Dating Rumors

Morgan Wade debuted a flirty new music video featuring Kyle Richards amid rumors that the country artist and the The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star ignited a new romance. 

Wade’s David McClister-directed music video for “Fall In Love With Me,” out Thursday (August 10), is a project that Wade describes as “campy and fun” while serving a deeper purpose. She said it’s “also important and representative of all kinds of love, even in the country space, in any space. …[Kyle Richards] and I trusted the process of making a piece of art that stands boldly beside this music and I’m proud of that. Thanks for the support and love. Love is love is love.”

Wade and Richards previously shared a brief interview about the music video as fans awaited its premiere date. In it, Wade said “Fall In Love With Me” aims to “poke fun” at internet commenters who think she and Richards are dating, and “troll the trolls a little bit.”

“I’ve done several music videos and every time there’s someone in it with me, they always assume we’re dating,” Wade said. “If you get on the internet, you see people are obsessed with us being friends, and why we’re friends… we thought it would be kind of a good idea to poke fun at that and kind of troll the trolls a little bit. The internet’s gonna be poppin’ off about this one, I’m sure.”

Wade recently caught up with Kaelin from The Fred Show on KISSFM backstage at Lollapalooza in Chicago, Illinois. She said it was “weird” and “strange” at first to have dating rumors swirling online, ”but now, people weren’t gonna shut up about it. We made this really sweet video, and it’s nice to be able to bring that light to a same-sex relationship in country music. I’m not mad about that. …If we can make something good out of a gossipy situation, I’m gonna do it.”

The “Fall In Love With Me” video premiered as fans await Wade’s sophomore album, Psychopath, which is due on August 25. The forthcoming project is one that Wade previously said “showcases where I am at this moment in time. I have no choice but to be authentic. And I have to feel what I feel.
