The Toronto Raptors and New York Knicks are reportedly finalizing a blockbuster trade involving OG Anunoby, R.J. Barrett and Immanuel Quickley, sources with knowledge of the situation confirmed to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski on Saturday (December 30).

"The Toronto Raptors are finalizing a trade to send OG Anunoby to the New York Knicks for a package including RJ Barrett, Immanuel Quickley and draft considerations, sources tell ESPN," Wojnarowski wrote on his X account.

"New York has been pursuing Anunoby for significant period of time and now gets a head start on recruiting him to stay as a free agent in the summer. Anunoby's two-way talent has made him a target throughout the league -- and now he lands in the Knicks' lineup," Wojnarowski added.

Anunoby, 26, is averaging 15.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game during the 2023-24 season and was selected as an All-NBA Defensive Team member last season.

Barrett, 23, a Toronto native was selected by the Knicks at No. 3 overall in the 2019 NBA Draft and averaged 18.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game during his first five NBA seasons, which includes 18.2 points per game during the 2023-24 season. Quickley, 24, has long been New York's best off-the-bench scoring option since being selected at No. 25 overall in the 2020 NBA Draft and is currently averaging a career best 15.0 points per game.
