Tori Kelly Lets Her Vocals 'Shine On' In Grooving New Love Song

Tori Kelly is feeling the love in a grooving new track from her latest album TORI., which dropped Friday (April 5), a 15-track project she will celebrate in an exclusive iHeartRadio Album Release Party tonight (April 8). iHeartRadio is giving fans another sneak peek at the show by highlighting her performance of "shine on."

The Grammy Award winner let her skill shine throughout the performance, kicking it off with a deep intro showcasing her lower register and rich vocals before building up to the first verse featuring a catchy R&B vibe and sentimental lyrics like "you are the stars, the moon, the sun" and "you'll always be the only one I want."

Kelly immediately captured the attention of the crowd who were clearly feeling the track, moving along to the beat even as she switched up the rhythm before launching into the chorus, singing, "Deep in the night, I need your light, I'm lost without it/ So lost, so lost/ And every time I try to live my life without it/ I'm lost, so lost/ Shine on."

TORI. is Kelly's first album since her 2020 Christmas album A Tori Kelly Christmas and 2019's Inspired By True Events, and includes features from artists like Jon Bellion, Arya Starr and Kim Chae-won of Le Sserafim. She previously shared how she had been working on the project for years "exploring new sounds & expressing so many different sides of myself."
