McDonald's Unveils Random New McFlurry Flavor For A Limited Time Only

McDonald's is back with an interesting new McFlurry flavor just in time for summer, and you're not going to want to miss this one!

The popular fast-food chain recently announced the release of its "Grandma McFlurry," set to be featured on the menu for a limited time only. According to a press release obtained NBC Chicago, the new McFlurry flavor is meant to taste like a "trip down memory lane."

"McDonald's is the place where lifelong memories are made with grandma. From treating us to an impromptu soft serve to letting us have dessert first, grandmas always know how to make us feel special. And now, it's her turn." The Grandma McFlurry was crafted to capture the essence of a grandparent's trip to McDonald's with their grandchildren.

Tariq Hassan, chief marketing and customer experience officer at McDonald's, commented on the flavor of the Grandma McFlurry revealing the company's vision for the new sweet treat.

"The Grandma McFlurry tastes like a trip down memory lane, and we're excited to give our fans that experience while honoring the grandma-figure in all our lives." Per photos shared by NBC Chicago, the new ice cream treat will be served in a pink and orange cup signed "xoxo, Grandma."

The exciting menu item will be available at select locations nationwide starting on May 21st.
