Leonardo DiCaprio's recent ocean adventure took a turn for the worst after an unfortunate run-in with a rogue sea creature.
According to TMZ, The Wolf of Wall Street star was swimming in the Mediterranean Sea with girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti during a trip to Sardinia, Italy last weekend when an alleged jellyfish decided to sting him near his behind. The actor emerged from the water in pain and called for his girlfriend to look at the sting that left a mark just under his buttocks.
Photos displayed on TMZ depict DiCaprio showing the red mark to Cerretti as the couple share a laugh on their private yacht, leading the public to assume that the injury was not that serious. Once out of the water, the yacht crew attended to Leo's sting by spraying it, and wiping it off with a towel.
The Titanic standout and his model girlfriend were not the only ones enjoying the Italian coastline last weekend as celebrity friends, Tobey Maguire, Lukas Haas, Edward Enninful and Neelam Gill also joined the pair for their latest adventure abroad, per TMZ.
Information regarding DiCaprio's current condition or exactly what sea creature injured him has yet to be revealed as the actor continues to make memories overseas with his stunning plus one.
