Lauryn Hill, Fugees and YG Marley quietly canceled their massive tour just days before it was scheduled to begin.

Fans sounded the alarm on Tuesday night, August 6, when they were informed about receiving refunds for their tickets to the "Miseducation of Lauryn Hill" 25th Anniversary Tour. According to Variety, Hill's 18 show dates in the U.S. were silently removed from ticketing websites without any explanation. The Grammy award-winning singer, Wyclef Jean, Pras, and her son YG Marley were set to begin the American leg of the tour in Tampa this Friday. Some dates in Europe are still available, however, there's no word on the status of those shows.

This is the third time Lauryn Hill and the Fugees' tour plans have been ruined. They originally planned to embark on a reunion tour in 2021. The tour was postponed that same year due to the pandemic. It was eventually canceled in January 2022. Last year, they finally reunited and hit the stage in several cities. The "Everything is Everything" singer even addressed the criticism over her tardiness to shows. Unfortunately, Hill canceled the remaining dates last November and promised to return in 2024.

“As many of you may know, I’ve been battling serious vocal strain for the past month,” she stated at that time. “I made it through each show by taking prescribed prednisone, but this can be detrimental to the body when taken in large amounts over long periods of time. In order to prevent any long term negative affect on my voice and my body, I need to take time off to allow for real vocal recovery so that I can discontinue the medication completely.”

As of this report, neither artist has addressed the abrupt decision to end the tour.
