Cardi B fired back at Elon Musk after she formally endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris over the weekend.

On Saturday, November 3, the mother of three took the podium during a Harris-Walz rally at the Wisconsin State Fair Exposition Center in West Allis. Bardi had the crowd singing every word to "Bodak Yellow" before she delivered a riveting speech in support of Harris.

“Like Kamala Harris, I’ve been the underdog, underestimated, and had my success belittled," she told the crowd. "Women have to work ten times harder and still face questions about how we achieved success. I can’t stand a bully, but just like Kamala, I always stand up to one.”

“I didn’t have faith in any candidates until she joined and spoke the words I wanted to hear about the future of this country,” she continued. “I believe every word she says. She’s passionate, compassionate, empathetic, and most importantly, she’s realistic. Kamala recognizes that this country is at risk, and that we need to strengthen our economy and address the rising cost of living.”

After the rally, clips of Cardi's speech spread all throughout social media. One clip in particular showed Cardi at the podium while she waited for her manager Patience Foster to bring her a phone that had her speech on it. Tesla founder and X owner Elon Musk came across the clip and called her a "another puppet who can’t even talk without being fed the words." The "Enough" rapper was quick to respond to Musk's post.

"I’m not a puppet Elon.. I’m a daughter of two immigrant parents that had to work their ass off to provide for me!" she snapped back. "I’m a product of welfare, I’m a product of section 8, I’m a product of poverty and I’m a product of what happens when the system is set up against you….But you don’t know nothing about that. You don’t know not one thing about the American struggle…. PS fix my algorithm."

Cardi B spoke at the rally shortly after GloRilla performed her hit "TGIF." Bardi's cousin also endorsed Harris' campaign in a viral video last week. Both artists join the slew of celebrities who are publicly supporting the Harris-Walz ticket. On the other side of things, Cardi B's speech angered other right-wing characters like Rosanne Barr and Azealia Banks, who reacted to Cardi B's posts following her appearance at the rally.
