New Performers Revealed In Lineup At Event Honoring Cody Johnson, Others

Chris Janson, Jamey Johnson, Miko Marks and Victoria Shaw officially joined the star-studded lineup of the 18th ACM Honors, the Academy of Country Music announced on Wednesday (August 13).
Previously-announced performers include hosting duo Carly Pearce and Russell Dickerson (Pearce is returning for her fifth consecutive year, and Dickerson is hosting the show for the first time), plus Luke Bryan, Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild, Carter Faith, Ashley Gorley, Amy Grant, Ashley McBryde, K. Michelle, and Tucker Wetmore. Each of the performers will pay tribute to honorees Lori Badgett, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Jessie Jo Dillon, Jelly Roll, Cody Johnson, Mac McAnally, Rissi Palmer, Randy Travis, “Twisters,” Ben Vaughn, and Lainey Wilson. This year’s show will take place for the first time at The Pinnacle, “Nashville’s newest cutting-edge venue.”
“This year’s ACM Special Awards honorees each have played an essential role in Country Music’s success,” said Kerri Edwards, Chair of the ACM Special Awards committee, in a previously-issued press release. “From some of Country Music’s legendary artists to the incredible songwriters and powerhouse executives, we are so excited to celebrate these well-deserved recipients next month at The Pinnacle in Nashville. Congratulations to all the honorees.”
The 18th ACM Honors will take place on Wednesday, August 20.
