Speaker 1 (00:01):

Yes it is. He's Brian No. I meany firma will

(00:22):
I call dot com for a free rad quote. Now,
without further ado, on Football Sunday number two. My partner,
my friend, the man who makes things happen all the
time because he is the hardest working man in sports
talk radio today, the one and only Mr Brian No
Hello me, how are you doing? Great? Andy? Glad to
be here with you Week two Baby. We got some

(00:43):
real tasty matchups today as well. You know what I
would say this. You know, first off, let's put the
Antonio Brown talk on the back burner for a little bit. Okay,
that's everybody, put him on the back burner for a second,
because I think we need to raise the flag at
hand out the chain be a chip rings for you
cft listen. I'm not just I would stay unbelievable by

(01:08):
you where Hey, listen, you seef, they played well. I
give him some credit. I watched the game, Dylan Gabriel.
Every time I looked up, this guy was throwing a
dime for you. The quarterback unreal. I mean, you know, honestly,
you gotta say that it's not a good year for Stanford,
but oh my gosh, I mean you see l As
down the crapper. Stanford's unbelievably. I mean, it's it's just

(01:31):
not a good year. But you know, you see have
caught them and I quote them well, but Dylan Gabriel,
he threw like three forty seven they would picked up
over five yards. It was amazing. I mean, what you
see if it's a great thing really for the I
guess the other group of five they're Jackson five. I
call him. It's nice. But the thing to me is
for anybody who's really talking this up, like hey, look

(01:55):
at you, CEF, like Stanford sucks this year, they're not.
They're not the typical Stanford team that we've seen over
the last five ten seasons where they've really had it
cranked up. This is a down team and you have
to take that into account. I'm not taking all the
credit away from UCF, but you can't make it sound
like beating any Power five team is the same as

(02:19):
beating a top Power five team, you know what I mean,
that's all if UCF is truly arrived, if they truly
are a force. No u c F. Hank is like,
oh look what they did the down trotten Stanford. No
one's going crazy about that if they. You know, as
well as I do, perceptions reality and of lunatics out

(02:43):
there say, whoa you CEF beat Stanford. I mean, they
don't know that. It's a down here for Stanford, but
it certainly looks good on the resume. It looks good.
But again, the group of five teams, I mean, I
get it right, you're fighting for respectability all of those things.
But again the point remains, if you've truly arrived beating

(03:06):
a team that's having a down year, when you're a
nine point favorite at home, like u c F was,
you're not gonna be running crazy about that. If Clemson
is a nine point favorite and they smack around somebody
at home, you're not going nuts about it, you know.
So I don't think you should be doing the same

(03:27):
thing if you do truly believe you CF is one
of the big boys. That's all. I'll tell you what.
There was a big boy game yesterday. Arizona State was
leading like ten seven less than a minute to play.
Michigan State watches down the field. They get at the
field goal situation. There was like a passion the Ferman's penalty.
They line up the Spartans due for a forty two

(03:47):
yard to take a listen out to what Michigan State's
Matt Coughlin on a forty three yard field goal attempt.
Take a list of this. Where's the snap falls down,
the quick is on the way, and the kick is no,
he missed it. That time has expired at Arizona State
with a stunning right favorite Michigan State. Okay, we gotta

(04:12):
back this up a little bit because Michigan State they
lined up with the forty two auDA he drooled it,
as you just heard. But then Michigan State had twelve
then on the field, so they had to do it again.
They backed up five yards. Conflin kicks it again and
he misses it. So that's it. And that's the a
s U call. To make sure that makes a little
more sense because that was the funniest part, as if

(04:34):
that was the Michigan State call where it's like, but yeah,
what an embarrassing way to lose a game, and you
look at Remind me to bet all of my life
savings on the under the next time Sparty takes the field. Really,
look at some of these games. The ball game they
lost to Oregon seven to six, and then they lose

(04:56):
yesterday against herm and Arizona State tend to evan like,
why aren't we cashing in on Michigan State playing great
defense and horrible offense? We should profit off of this,
Andy Ferman, I'm with you, and you know what, I'm
happy because Arizona State right now is in fact undefeated,
and my good friend Marvin Lewis is working up there

(05:18):
with herman with her med Woods, Marvin Lewis's assistant or
so good friend. I didn't know this. I love Marvin Lewis.
He's Have you guys smoked cigars together? No? I don't
think he smokes cigars. No, but we email each other
and every night and again he did email me this week,
So you do email. I thought it was just handwritten notes.
Very did you get mine? I said, you a note

(05:38):
this week. Did you really know? I haven't. I said
you were clipping about the city of Portland, which is
written we moved, so you might not have her new address.
Maybe it was written up in the New York Times
and all about Portland. I thought you'd love to see it,
you know, on your time off, you when the missus
could go around town and she's still in the highlights,

(05:58):
think Portland, and I think of Portland. I think are you?
You know, my god, I think are you? All the time?
They like it. If we could do a little you know,
tour where it's like, oh and here's the side of
random protests where people were spewing hatred even though they're
supposed to be open minded in this city. You know,
we could see those those epic spots around town, you know,
exactly right. You know what, though, you ever have a

(06:20):
team that you kind of like, you really get dejected
when they lose, and you go bananas when they win.
And I don't know why, but I have like this
this love affair with Iowa State, and they lose to
Iowa as the eighteen seven they played eighteen seventeen, they
played for more than three hours, was a rain delayed
the hurricane. Whatever the heck, it was out there, and

(06:41):
that's and maybe that's why the sophomore on Iowa State, uh,
the Trony Young, I mean he wanted to go downfield
on a late punt by Iowa and it was given
to Iowa State. They had their last chance to win.
Uh they fumbled it up. Taking listen what happened here.
Iowa State fumbles a punt. I recovers in the eighteen
seventeen We listen to this. Now Sleep dolphins back at

(07:01):
his five and sends the kick toward the right sideline.
Ferre caught at the twenty, troubled and I thought they
might call interference on Iowa, But no, sir, the fair
catch was signaled for and muffed. The punt was muffed

(07:23):
Iowa State. Matt Campbell is not arguing, and the Hawkeyes
get on it. I don't believe that was Gary Dalton
from Learfield, i MG College on the coil Young Colloida
with Deshawnta Jones who was fielding that punt. The ball
I guess rolled free, were covered by Iowa as you heard,
and it ended up eighteen seventeen. Iowa and Matt Campbell
the coach of Iowa State has yet to be at
Iowa in that game in that series. Wow, it's kind

(07:46):
of like Jim Harbaugh going against um Ohio State. You know,
I just can't think of that. But I was watching
this game, Andy, and here's the thing. I like that
you um found the connection between both games. Where Iowa State,
you're returning a punt, you still got a chance, you're
down by one point, a couple of minutes to go,

(08:06):
and then you muff a punt because one teammate runs
into the punt returner, Like that's ridiculous. And Michigan State
you tie up the game and you've got twelve men
on the field. This is just great school type stuff,
you know. And I realized that college football isn't the NFL,
and the execution isn't gonna be on the same level

(08:27):
at times of the quality of play isn't gonna be
on the same level. But at the very minimum, you
gotta not run into the punt returner and not have
twelve men on the field when you're kicking the game
tying field goal. What is that you expect better? You
you really do? I mean, you just think that and
I don't know why it happens is no doubt. It
happens and kind of blamed on the field because of

(08:48):
the conditions that I don't think so and happened. It
was a mental faux pa, if you will, That's what
it was. And it happens. Yeah, that was ugly by
the way. You know, I was talking about this last
night with Nick bah Where you look, it was a
dog college football weekend in terms of the matchups right
in terms of the matchups, no ranked teams played each other,

(09:10):
and most of the top ten just rolled. So I'm
curious where you think about the trickle down effect. If
there were a different postseason format, what do you prefer
the most? Do you like it where it's four? Would
you rather expand to eight? Like, if you're in charge
of college football and you're the commissioner of everything, Andy Freman,

(09:31):
what would you go with? What do you put? I
think that obviously you want eight. You want eight because
you want more people involved, more people involved, there's more excitement,
there's more of a chance. I mean, you get teams
right now that have started out oh and two and
basically you finished for the season. Eight teams may open
it up a little bit more a little more excitement
than I guess a little more conversation because right now,

(09:53):
like we talked about the NBA several years ago, before
the season started, we knew was Golden State Cleveland. Right now,
you could probably pick three of the with teamstead of
going with to the final four. Well, I hear you.
I mean I wouldn't go kicking and screaming into the
night if they expand it to eight teams. I think
it's interesting whether it's the top eight teams or it's
been talked about the five conference champions, the Power five schools,

(10:18):
you're automatically in if you win your conference. I'm not
a huge fan of that, where I dislike the idea
of a three or four lost team winning its conference
and making it to the playoff. I don't love that.
And I realized the NFL essentially works like that. College
football doesn't have to do the same thing. So I
think if it's eight, the exact format of the eight

(10:39):
matters a whole lot. I'm just thinking I'm fine with four.
I like how it is you gotta really bring it
in the regular season. A loss can cripple your season.
I like that. I like the stakes being high in
the regular season. But I'll admit there are some drawbacks
when you have to be as close to perfect to
get into the playoff. Yeah, a lot of these team

(11:00):
teams they schedule down, they don't schedule up because they
don't want that blemish on the resume. If you're in
a power of five school, well, I mean, look, you
you had some games yesterday that were really dogs, but
there was some crazy results. I mean, when b y
U beat usc and over time, that's a crazy game.
When Temple upsets Maryland, that's a crazy game because these
these schools go out there and they want to get

(11:21):
a check. Not only did they get a check, they
gotta win out a check. It's crazy, it really is. Yeah.
I just I would like to avoid days in college
football like yesterday where it's just there aren't any intriguing matchups.
And it just got my mind thinking about that with
the playoff format, if it's eight teams, how it changes

(11:43):
the beginning of the regular season when you get all
these nonconference matchups. I don't know that it automatically makes
it big boy versus big boy. If you expand it,
it gives you a better chance for that, But I
don't think it's set in stone that all of a sudden,
the nonconference matchups are way better than we witnessed yesterday. Right,
yesterday was kind of a dog schedule, but crazy things happened.

(12:04):
We talked about the Iowa Iowa State game, and now
you got to mention all said that that the Penn
State game of a pit I mean, Pitt had the
ball with about what under a minute ago it was
a five minutes ago, didn't score, had first in goal,
and Patent knew ar doozy, the coach of Pitt decides
to go for a field goal. I mean, what was
that all about? I mean, you talk about crazy, crazy
antics in college football? Yes today, Yeah, there's just too

(12:27):
many games not to produce some talking points and headlines.
The Mississippi State quarterback who got catabolt catapulted into the air.
Did you see that? That was amazing going for a
first down on fourth and sixteen and a couple of
defenders hit him at the same time he goes airborne.
I don't know how high he was in the air,

(12:48):
and what would you guess on that play? A good
ten feet roughly. I'll tell you what good pole vaulting
material really it's crazy. It was crazy plays. Yeah, there's
too many games not to do some interesting headlines, but
just match up wise, that was a dog weekend in
college football. Well, and there's some questions to be asked.

(13:08):
I think that coming away from yesterday. You know, Trevor Lawrence,
I mean, certainly they beat the heck out of Syracuse,
but he had two picks against Syracuse has five now
on the season, one more that he had to last year.
So now I think the the so cold experts are
saying is he overrated? Who knows? I don't know, but
you know, these are the things that people are looking into.
These are the storylines that are big Trevor Lawrence right now.

(13:30):
I mean, come on, you knew what they were gonna
beat Syracuse. But two picks in five and two games.
I don't think it's a good thing for him. Yeah, well,
of course not. But I think he's the real deal.
If you know, if all of a sudden people realize
that he doesn't walk on quarterback water, okay, yeah, maybe
you would say he's overrated, But when he was just

(13:50):
unbelievable against Alabama on the biggest of stages, like, of course,
he's not that same dude going forward over the long haul.
But the lesser version that we knew that we were
going to be getting still pretty freaking good. You just
gotta cut down those interceptions too many. Right now, Well,
we got ball to talk about it all day long today.
I can't wait to get into it with you. Not

(14:12):
into it. I shouldn't use that term discussions with you.
Into it sounds like, you know, it's like a rumble,
and we're never gonna have a rumble here, you know
that he's Brian. No, He's like, no, Maybe, maybe I
gotta mention that what brought to you by Cincinnati Bell
were powered by Cincinnati Bell. They get me to speak
to you every single Sunday in our lineup today Bronx
Talk Radio, in this hour, our number two bottom barrel betting,

(14:32):
our number three the Sheik himself, Alex Morvez, Fox Sports
Radio's NFL Inside, and of course follow it up with
my guy Brian. Nowit knows picks. See if you made
any moolah last week, and you could get us on
Twitter at the no show and no show at the
no show at any firm at episode or or eight
seven seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven seven nine

(14:53):
nine six six three six nine. We're gonna tell you
why he's playing. It's next smells like ball. The real
question is next. We'll get to that, but it is now.
This is Fox Football Someday. He's Brian Oomany Firman, and
we are live from the go called Fox Sports Radio Studios.

(15:14):
And before we get into the real ball, by friend,
before we get to the real ball, I mentioned early
on today, you better stay in your See did you
hear what's going on at the University of Alabama? The
attracting students to check fourth quarters? Staying in your seats?
What's that all about? I mean, really, truly, I don't
even think it's legal. You know, a lawyer I read
this earlier in the week. Our lawyer are for the

(15:36):
Electronic Frontier Foundation of Privacy watchdog said it was very
alarming that a public university, an arm of the government,
was tracking its students whereabouts. Yeah. I hadn't thought of
it from that angle, but that does scream lawsuit of
some kind. Some lawyers like, oh, baby, this is what
I've been waiting for you. Yeah, they're just trying to

(15:57):
incentivize people, which in theory remakes sense. The exact ways
that they're trying to do it. It's a little creepy,
little stalker ish, right, If you're still in your seat
and they know it, then you might get some perks.
It's what we've talked about, Andy. The at home experience
of watching games just continues to improve. So, whether it's

(16:19):
college or the NFL, you gotta find ways to incentivize
people to go to the freaking games and stay at
the freaking games. That's where this is what Alabama is doing.
They've got the Tide Loyalty Points program. It works like this.
Students who typically pay about ten bucks for home tickets
download the app. They are in a hundred points for
attending a home game and an additional two fifty for

(16:40):
staying until the fourth quarter. How do you like that?
You know eventually they're gonna say, we're gonna let you
pass your courses for these points. That's what's gonna happen
down the road. I'm telling you you can't. You can't
be out in the open with something like that. There's
no way. But yeah, it's getting crazy, it really is.
And it just shows you that that at home experience

(17:01):
is so good. And you always hear people belly ache listen.
I love going to the games. I'm not anti going
to the Game's guy. I love seeing at least a
new NFL stadium each year. My schedule is such where
I can't get out to see as many college stadiums,
but I would love to see more college stadiums as well.
I always say, you can't get the same feeling at

(17:24):
home as when you are at the game. So I'm
not season ticket guy, but I like getting out and
going to the game. I'm not anti going to the game.
But no one belly aches about staying at home and
watching football. If anything, people belly ache about going there.
And it's the cost of the park, and then's the concessions,
and yeah, yeah, they're always belly aching about going to games.

(17:46):
And the bell because of the course, you hit it
right on the head. But you know what, you know
who's going to the game today, Antonio Brown. He'll be
in your hometown, your hometown team. That's when your Miami Dolphins,
that's your team. Antonio Brown is gonna be there today
wearing numble One. By the way, he said he can't
he can't wear that. That's not that, no fake news,
Andy Ferman, you can't as a wide receiver wear number one.

(18:07):
That's just he was wearing it. He had, I know,
but he's wearing number one until the game starts. News
because wide receivers you can only wear between ten and
nineteen or eighty to eighty nine, so he'll be something
in between. He was wearing seventeen at practice also, so
at least he could be wearing that during the game.

(18:28):
But no number one. No number one for a number one.
And the question is also the Patriots obviously were blindsided
by the rape allegations earlier in the week he signed
with the Patriots. Then the allegations surface to representatives for
Brown and as accused of the former trainer Brittany Taylor,
who's gonna beet with the NFL tomorrow, by the way,
had been in discussions for months, but they had agreed

(18:49):
not to discuss any even publicly until she filed a
civil lawsuits. So because of the accusations were part of
a civil complaint and not a criminal complaint, Brown was
under no obligation of the phone. The raiders of pages
of them look Roger Goodell says he's gonna play, not play,
but he's not on the exemple list and to me,
this is cause another bally who if you will in

(19:10):
the NFL. Well, of course it has, but I think
this is the right move by the NFL. They're in
a tricky spot. Let's just say that first and foremost,
because I always say this, Andy, whether it's a case
like this or play on the field, if you're second guessing,
you need to be first guessing, you know what I mean.

(19:30):
So before you have access to the results, whether it's uh,
you know, there's a play at the one yard line
and they run a goal line fade, you need to
be saying I hate the goal line fade before you
have access to the result of the past being knocked
away or incomplete, you know what I mean. So it's
the same thing with this with Antonio Brown. I think

(19:51):
you need to be first guessing if you're gonna be
second guessing later if he turns out to be guilty,
which we don't know for sure, and you know as
well as I do, Andy, people are gonna circle back
and say, NFL, why were you allowing him to play
the whole time? It's because they didn't even talk to
the accuser yet, exactly right, right, So you can't just
start suspending players based on allegations without even doing your

(20:15):
homework or talking to the accuser. You at least have
to do that first informat, which will happen tomorrow. But
I will tell you this as part of the problem,
and you'll agree with me. I think on this one
is the fact that he's playing for the New England Patriots.
If he was playing for the Arizona Cardinals, I don't
think they'd be such a bally who because people say, oh,
Patriots take anyway with murder. You know they're gonna let
him play. And I think the just being on the

(20:35):
Patriots that has a lot to do with it. Yeah,
I agree with that. I think it takes it to
another level with him playing. But take any situation. If
you came to work today, Andy, You're about to do
the show. What if the suits at Fox Sports Radio
said Andy, you can't do the show today? They did say,
why not? Will someone someone accused you of something really serious?

(20:56):
We gotta find out what's what You're not on the air.
You'd be like, what the hell is that? I didn't
do anything? Well, well, he might not have, but we
gotta do our homework. You just can't start suspending people
without doing any homework whatsoever. So I think this is
it's a tricky situation for the NFL, but as of
right now, I think this is the proper move. Before

(21:19):
you talk to the accuser and they're scheduled next week,
they can't do it this week because she's having a wedding,
which is fine, but to suspend Antonio without even talking
to her, that's a that's a dangerous precedent. Well, the bottoms,
they gotta do their homework, they gotta do the due diligenus,
they gotta do find everything an old adults in order
and then make a decision after you find all the evidence.

(21:41):
That's what you gotta do, and I think that's the
right thing to do. But look as far as the
Patriots today, they don't really need him against Miami. If
they're gonna beat the Steelers last week by thirty, how
much do you think they're gonna beat you Adolphins by today. Well,
they're capable of beating him by thirty, that's for sure. Typically,
they've struggled in Miami. I know they've lost five out
of the last six times they've played in Miami, which

(22:03):
is amazing. But this is a different Dolphins team. Do
you know it's a lot more chaos. They just lost
by forty nine points. They got rid of a ton
of veteran players. The guys that they have right now
been reaching after their agents trying to get traded. So
that's a different deal. To answer your question, Andy, I think, gosh,
the point spread is nineteen. I would take the points.

(22:26):
I'll say the Patriots win by seventeen today. It could
be totally wrong. They could blow them out again, but
I'll say today, and I think that the latest line
is eighteen and a half. Okay, well look at you
the latest line over. Well, you know what, you got
me hooked like you got your fangstion me. All right?
You did this morning? It was it was nineteen. But

(22:48):
I mean when it's that high half a point, I
don't know how big of as that's gonna make. But okay,
so you go, what four touchdowns? You say that the
Dolphins gets backed around pretty good today, then I think
they will. But although that heat has always been a
factor down there for the for the Patriots, yeah, I
got to believe it's pretty hot register today though, Andy

(23:10):
Firma get to US eight seven seven on Fox at
the No Show at Andy Firm and FSR. He's gonna
keep calling the plays and we'll tell you why next.
But first, my guy, my boy, Brian, what is going on, guys,
NFL networks? He and Rappaport has found out Brittany Taylor,
who's accusing Patriots wide receiver Antonio Brown of rape, will

(23:31):
meet with league officials tomorrow to discuss her case. Taylor,
Brown's former trainer followed a civil lawsuit this past week,
but in the meantime, the wide receiver appears in line
to play today against the Dolphins. Chargers wide receiver Mike
Williams is a game time decision today against the Lions.
Bengals running back Joe Mixon is trending towards playing today
against the forty Niners. He held off from practicing for

(23:53):
the most part this week with an ankle issue. ESPN
has learned forty Niners defensive and Nick Bosa, who's dealing
with an ankle injury, is expected to play today against
the Bengals. Hey, great news. There's a quick way you
could save money. Switched to Geico. Go to Geico dot
com and in fifteen minutes you could say or more
on car insurance. Saturday in college football, Trevor Lawrence gashes

(24:14):
Syracuse's defense, shockstat pulps it now looks down in the middle,
fix utchdown what I told you about the middle, A
little pulp base and then back down the same and
Ari Rodgers there's open for the touchdown. Don Munson of
the Clemson Tigers radio network. Number one Clemson pulverizes the

(24:35):
Orange forty one six. Lawrence accounted for four touchdowns and
three nine yards passing. Meanwhile, number five Oklahoma torturing u
c l A forty fourteen Sooner's quarterback Jill and Hurts
had four hundred thirty nine yards of offense. And finally,
ninth ranked Florida demoralizes Kentucky. Gators quarterback Quile Trask led

(24:57):
three touchdown drives in the second half, coming in for
Felipe A. Franks, who's likely done for the season with
a leg injury. Back to Andy Ferman and Brian No
and the guy co Fox Sports Studios, well, thank you
so very much. We're seeing about an hour. You know what.
I don't want to upset you, but can you tell
him big b You tell him, Brian. I don't want
to about the Joey and Nick Boza. I mean the

(25:18):
difference between the Boza boys. He's got a morphed into one.
You know, he's he's at it. Well I'm not gonna
name names, but one NFL and Sider had it one
way and I didn't do my double checking and it's
Nick and the great. I hate doing this, but you
know you're my boy. I could do it. You know.
I just don't want anybody making fun of you, that's all.
But I gotta like this time, right, Nick, right, it's

(25:39):
Nick defensive end. Yeah, yeah, that's right. Okay, are you
sure about that? Just just you just use the word Bosa.
There you go, Yeah, Bosa of the clown like uh,
Andy Ferman. I'm just kidding. By the way, this guy
won the job. We'll get to that in just about
a minute. He's Brian Oham, Andy Ferman. Welcome back, everybody.

(26:00):
It to the Fox Boat Radio Studios. We brought to
you by Geico. It's easy to say more on Carrent
Jeans with COCKO got a Geico dot Com call seven
not on. The only hard part figuring out which way
is easier, and of course, well of Bronx Talk Radio.
I guess in a less than ten minutes. But right
now we have some information on the Dallas Cowboys. They're

(26:20):
playing at Washington the Redskins today. I'm gonna check the line.
Are you ready at Washington? Are you ready? The latest
line is five and a half five and a half.
It depends where you get it. I got six, but
it's no big deal. We're in the same Yeah. But uh,
if you look at this game, Andy, where I mean

(26:43):
that that line is. It's tempting to lay the points
and go with the Cowboys. If I had to go
one way or the other, I would do that. My
gambling like they're my My gambling stomach starts to turn
when you're laying points like that in a divisional game
on the road. But the Redskins played well their first
few drives last week against the Eagles, and then they

(27:05):
were just absolutely just shut down. They don't have great depth.
Various guys is down, so Adrian Peterson his back. I
would lay the points and go with the Cowboys. They're
just a more talented team. I don't like throwing that
many points. They got that a talent on the road
on the line, I would do it. I would do it.
Was that what you would do would you take the
points with the Skins. No, No, I'd go with the Cowboys.

(27:26):
Just have that of town. They have a better football team.
And I said that this guy won the job. But
talking about the thirty year old offensive coordinator was given
the job last week by Jason Garrett, about killing Moore
and what he did in his first game as o C.
He let a thirty five point attack. Dak Prescott was unbelievable,
throw to four oh five four touchdowns and his passer
writing was a perfect one fifty eight point three. No. Look,

(27:48):
obviously Kellen Moore is gonna get all the credit for that,
but you know, everything fell into place. We'll see what
he does today. I don't think it's gould be that
great today. But I was impressed with that Prescott last week.
How what you're saying, like, who's who's raving about Kellen
Moore without giving Dak Prescott any credit? Thata Dak's gotten
a done of credit for that game. Now, I do

(28:09):
think that the way the week played out, you had
Greg Cosell on the herd and he was like, I
don't know what to make really out of that performance.
You got some wide open receivers like you're playing playing
in the Big twelve against those type of defenses last
week against the Giants, so yeah, I mean, it was
a really solid performance by Dac, there's no doubt, but

(28:31):
some of that had to do with just an anemic
performance defensively by the Giants. They're so bad. I mean,
you know, I I'll go back and I hate to
put this on in one bundle, but honestly, I don't
know how New York could have such terrible sports teams
save the Yankees. You know, forget about the Yankees, but
you just talked about the Knicks, the Nets, the Giants,

(28:53):
the Giants. I mean, well, roll up to one. How
could you be so bad for so long? Are coming up?
They just had ackbuster summer. When Kay is healthy, they're
gonna be a championship contender. But yeah, the Jets and Giants.
With the Jets just got hit with some bad luck
with Sam Darnald and Mono and that's that's just odd.
But I mean, you know how it is. It's cyclical

(29:15):
in the NFL, typically outside of the Patriots, who have
just been unbelievable for two decades, but typically you see
teams up down, up down. That's the normal range. Here,
so it's varied with the Giants. Just look at the
Eli Manning era and at the opposite end, which is
just utter drek at times when they stink. You know, Direk,

(29:39):
I love it, Drek. You're exactly right. But today I
think the Cowboys winning, they win big. I'm gonna say,
I just don't. I don't have a lot of confidence
in the Redskins offense. I don't have a lot of
confidence in case Keenum And honestly, I just feel that
Adrian Peterson. I just at last week. He didn't even play,
he was healthy, and he was scratched. So I just

(29:59):
don't have a lot of confidence in that Redskins team.
I just don't. Hey man, you won't get an argument
from me on that one. But uh, you know, any
given Sunday, essentially in the NFL, it's not as if
the Redskins don't have any talent on that roster. They
just don't have great depth and they don't have nearly
as much talent as the Cowboys. But you know, when

(30:22):
you're playing the visional games and you got smacked around
pretty good last week, at least in the second half
against the Eagles, the pride factor kicks in crazier things
have happened. I don't want to make it sound like
Washington has no talent whatsoever. They just don't. Not as
much as much, not as much as Dallas, not as
much as the Cowboys really, and you know, honestly, you
know the great thing about the Cowboys is that if

(30:43):
they loaded the box the Redskins, you have Ezekiel Elliott
basically running the football. Then the defense can they stops
the run. Then all of a sudden, Prescott goes outside,
goes to a Marii Cooper. They have so much, you know,
versatility on offense where I don't think other teams do.
And really it truly, you know, Jerry Jones had to
get Zeke back in the lineup, but they were gonna
win without him. They were not gonna win without him.

(31:05):
And they'll be two and oh today and the Redskins
basically be out of the division at oh went two today,
they'd be fine these first three games without Zeke. Now
later in the season week four, if you're at New Orleans,
that's a different story. But the first handful of games,
Zeke had what fifty three yards last week right around there,
like that's nothing. To die. Yeah, he's in a man

(31:28):
But this thought of, oh, yeah, you can't win without Zeke, Well,
the first three games this season when it's Giants, Redskins, Dolphins, Yeah,
the Cowboys are talented enough to win those games for sure.
I just think I think the Cowboys should have played
hardball with Zeke instead of caving and making him the
number one paid running back in football. They had some

(31:48):
leverage with his off the field stuff getting suspended, making
numerous bad decisions two years left on his deal soft
beginning to the season. I think they should have played
hardball all let the holdout go into the season. Maybe
you're able to get him at a better price. But
they just didn't. They caved, and it shows the utter
desperation that the Cowboys have to win a Super Bowl. Well,

(32:11):
j Jones isn't a better example of that for the Cowboys,
how desperate they are to win a ring. And you
know what, I wish I was a fly on the
wall when they have owners meetings. But you know, they're
really upset that Jerry Jones in fact did cave because
it hurts them for the future with their negotiations with
their players. Sure, it changed the market, it does it
really does? All right, We're gonna change life of people

(32:33):
in the world of sports because they love listening to us,
and we're gonna go to far away place called the Bronx.
He's Brian no On Andy Fermanan. By the way, the
city has two teams and they can't get one win.
We got to the Bronx to talk about it. Next
Bronx Talk Radio right around the corner, about fourteen minutes
before the top of the hour. We call this Fox
Football Sunday. He's Brian Ohm, Andy ferman It is time.

(32:56):
Let's do it. Let's go to the Bronx. It's time
to channel your inner New York. Here. We want to
hear all the rationalities you can spew on the hottest
topics of the day. Here's something we like to call

(33:18):
Bronx Talk Radio. Posted by the Great Crisp. I just
want to ask right now, right now, I need to
ask you, how the heck do you get mono? How?
I don't know. I don't know how you get that?
Is that kissing? You're kissing girls, you're kissing goils? How?
How do you say that word? Andy? How do you
think I get motto? What? What kind of goes are

(33:38):
you kissing? What kind of goes are you kissing? Sam Donald?
Be don't get called the kissing disease. They freaking call
it over here. I don't know if you can get
it any other way. I don't know. So what was
Sam Donald was kissing? What are you doing? Its football season.
You're not allowed to have You can't be doing that.
What do you mean you can't be doing that. You
can't be doing it. We can't be doing that. It's football.

(33:59):
You gotta have up all on the mine and nothing else,
nothing else but ball. You stop it. You be the teammate. Wow,
we gotta scandal in the apple. Hey, Tough Guy of
the Week award. I'm giving it out right now and
doing this each week. We're giving out to Tyson. Fury

(34:21):
fought to unanimous decision last night with a gash like
an inch freaking wide over his eyes. It wasn't that
he had two gashes when it was all said and
done again, Volin, he should have let Voline. Voline should

(34:41):
have let his hands go. He was all careful during
the whole match, aside from the time he tried to
open the gash by raking his glove over the eye
of of Tyson Fury. It was a good fight. Was
that attaining good? It was good? I loved it. I
love the fights, you know me? All right, Now we
move on to the part of Bronx Hawk, a special
edition of Talking about Bronx Talk is all about getting robbed.

(35:05):
Rob Poker. You are not allowed to sue us. It's
not copyright infringement. Lay the lay off. I'm taking this
to the Patten office, taking the patent office along with
the or the whatever Ohio people do. Anyway, First one,
team USA got robbed twice, lost, Brian No, you cost

(35:29):
me money, me, you cost me money. You said they
wouldn't lose after that exhibition thing. They lost Serbia, they
lost to France. They finished freaking seventh. That is not
a winner's position to be freaking seventh. I I don't
know that. I said they would win, for sure, I did.
I don't think you did. You know what? Those not
blaming my partner for your misgivings, that's right. Well, you

(35:52):
know who are we are gonna blame is Gregg Popovitch,
who is also calling his critics immature for he's trying
to take heat off himself. You're blue It Popo, you're bluid.
You blew it? Yeah, I think he pissed YOUOD bye, Popo,
the game passed youodbye. Well, he had terrible job. There's
no doubt he did a terrible job. He's trying to

(36:13):
go small with a bunch of dudes who weren't shooting.
I don't know what that was all about. So Pop,
he deserves to be ripped. And for him to be
ripping the critics and saying, hey, it's immature to criticize
my team. They tried their hardest over here. News flash, Pop,
all right, we got high standards over here and just
trying hard while representing the US and basketball ain't good enough.

(36:35):
We need results over he won't win us in the
Bronx like a Yankees. Why can't you be winning like
a Yankees? You're gonna be emblazed. There's a losing coach
for the loser. And how about does he got pop
going to the Air Force, you know, representing t USA,
and he said, hey, back off, they tried their hardest.
What is that? What is lost? Now? I got two

(36:57):
questions for you guys. And then once again, the top
topic is getting robbed. Someone broke into the Texas A
and M Hall of Champions and tried to steal a
Johnny Manzel jersey because apparently you can't buy those anymore,
worth about nine twenty five dollars. So question for us,
whose jersey would you try to steal? Go ahead, I

(37:21):
don't think I would try to steal any jerseys. I've
probably something noted Dame related going back to my roots
of South Bend or something like this. But this shows
in my mind why these athletes they deserve some coin
off of the image and likeness. Just like know, this
shows it is a lunatic and to lose to Texas

(37:41):
A and M in College station, I'll tell you what
I would do. I admit I would steal. I got
a Cooper's down with a backpack and take the Babe
jersey right out of the case. Listen to your three
number three Babe, Bruce, that's the jersey. I want just
an idea if I was to steal something, I would
go to the Pro Football Hall of Fame and steal
someone's bust. And I think he's got a bust in
the living room. No one, Andy, I think you just

(38:03):
described the plot to the sequel to sand Lot over here. Yeah,
exactly right, all right, next question then, and speaking once again,
getting robbed is the topic. By the way, as far
as Jersey, I'd steel probably even a Vinny testa Barry
that still is Jersey. Vinny test he's a tough guy. Really,

(38:24):
that's the one Jersey. If Jersey, he'd probably steal. Like
what's what's what's Bex you gonna you gotta steal Trevis Simmons,
Jersey next time? What's next? Is a freaking solid gold

(38:45):
toilet that was stolen from England, from England, from Blenheim
Palace in the UK. A solid gold toilet. One million
pounds pounds is money. In case you asking me why
you're the money guy, You're the money guy, Brian freaking

(39:08):
why you asking me why as a million pounds for
a toilet? Huh, yes, it's it's an odd installation called America.
It's a solid gold toilet. I don't know what their reference.
And hey, imagine this situation. Think of this scenario. You're
going to the toilet, right, you gotta sit down, do
you what you gotta do with the newspaper? You read
it and all of a sudden you stuff it up.

(39:29):
So you call a plumber, and the plumber comes over
and says, where's the toilet? I said, over here? And
he sees a gold toilet. I mean think about that
for a second. Would that be something freaky A one? Well,
it's apparently according to the Goggenheim it is a functional toilet.
Artist asked for people. It's Italian artist Mauricio Catillan asking
people to like use it, to interact with it, do

(39:51):
what you want to do. But my question to use
with one minute ago here in Bronx Talk radio, the
leading talk in Bronx across the Bronx is what would
you have for your personal convenience cast in solid gold? Well,
sure it wouldn't be if the freaking can. I don't
get that. When you know you've got too much money

(40:11):
laying around a million pound worth gold can I would do? Uh,
you know what? Maybe a gold microphone? How about that?
Do you're just staring? If you're gonna do with a
toilet thing, I'd rather have a sonic gold urinal, That's
what I'd rather have, a son of ald urinal. Really,
what are you doing? That's a conversation. What are you

(40:32):
doing here? What do you mean? I don't know what
you I I okay, it's a toilet or you do?
You know what I want? I want a solid gold
and encased Vinny Testaverdie sign. You know what I mean?
You know what? I would steal that. I would go
in there and I would steal that for about a
hundred dollars. You're too stupid to know that. Don't listen

(40:55):
to Fox Sports. He said, if he played with him,
he'd hate him. We'll get to that in just about
a minute. But now it's time to say wake up America. Yes,
it is that time. It is Fox Football Sunday. He's
Brian No, I'm Andy Furman, and we are both coming
to you live from the Fox Sports Radio studios, brought
to you by Geico. Fifteen minutes could save you fifty

(41:18):
more on car insurance physic ego dot com. Why for
a free rate quote? That's why. Now, without further Ado
the hardest working man and show business today. And I
mean that. I mean that sincerely, my friend, my partner,
the brains of the office, the one, the only Dr Briano.
Hello be, how are you doing great? Andy Furman? I
have dipped into stage one of my multigrain neutral are

(41:44):
my neutral grain bars gosh, I must be tired this morning.
I'm screwing that up, my neutral grain bars. I'm going
strawberry this morning. So I've had good phase one of
two phases this morning. I'll dip in shortly, but I'm
excited more importantly to be here with you today. And also,
we got a really nice slate of Week two games,
some really really good matchups. Of course Saints at Rams

(42:04):
will get into that game. The Sunday night game Eagles Falcons.
I love match Rackers Vikings Packers is a great early
game that Packers offense. What does it look like after
they had a few more days played on Thursday nights,
have a few more days of preparation for this game
against the Vikings defense looked amazing last week against the Falcons.

(42:26):
So yeah, I want to see what the Packers do
today with Matt Lafleur. Well, it's gonna be great. I
mean every Sunday is great. It really is a couple
of dog games. But other than that, I mean there's
some real good games. And I want to touch on
something because a lot of people have been tweeting me
throughout the week saying that I'm just an a kisser.
Remember last week with Antonio around a kiss I know,

(42:48):
I know, and a jock sniffer and a negative kind
of guy. So I got a positive story. I really
did this, almost a heartwarming story. And if he got
a box of clean next, you may want to come
out right now because I took about the University of Tennessee,
which finally won a football game yesterday. They beat Chattanooga
Tennessee Chattanooga ZIP. But a fourth grader in Florida who

(43:11):
was bullied over his homemade University of Tennessee shirt has
been off for the four year scholarship to the school.
Now he's the key. He was, Yes, you know Gator country, right,
So the boys scholarship would cover tuition and fees beginning
in the fall of here's the caveat if he chooses

(43:33):
to attend the University of Tennessee and of course meets
the admission requirements. So it looks great for Tennessee and
the administration. The kid may never go there since a
long ways away, but you know, it's just a nice
gesture and maybe this will curtail bullying to some extent.
Were you bullied as a kid, I don't think you were.

(43:54):
You're a tough son of a gun, weren't you. Well,
I don't know, like kids are kids could be mean,
you know, I mean really looking back, sure a few times,
but um, yeah, it's kids can just be really mean,
and it's important to basically say to those kids like,
that's not gonna work, Like you can't do those things.

(44:16):
And so for the University of Tennessee to basically cast
a light on this, and they made the jurors the shirt.
So this kid made a shirt and he was getting
bullied for it and all of that. So Tennessee sold
shirts off of the original design and they donated the
money to anti bullying campaigns and organizations. So, yeah, it's

(44:38):
it's really smart where it sounds crazy andy, but some
kids where they should know better, but as kids, they
just don't, and they do things that they don't think
are any It's not a problem because they don't think
beyond themselves. They don't think, hey, what's it like on
the other side, So the more awareness that you can
bring the kids that hey, this isn't right, this isn't proper,

(45:00):
it's not gonna fly, the better good for Rocky Top.
And I'll tell you what I think. I'm gonna bully you,
and then maybe Tennessee will give me something. You think,
I don't know, maybe we could send them a video
of the two of us and like I'm bullying you,
and you know no, like, listen, you stand up for
yourself in those situations, there's no doubt. But look, if

(45:21):
the bullying mob gets big enough and you're a kid
on your own, you really can't do anything. There are
some of those situations. So yeah, I think sometimes we
just say yeah, tough enough, but there are a lot
of situations where it's not that simple. Right. I was lucky.
I really never was bullied as a kid, and I
never bullied anybody because I'm not that kind of a guy.
I'm a loving guy. And in high school during the

(45:42):
one the years, I guess I hung out with the
jocks because I was a manager of the team and
the chocks always like, you know, on a pinnacle too.
You know they were you know that, that's why you
were the jock sniffer last week. I hung out with them.
I really did. But you know, you talk about one
of the games today, the Seahawks at the Steelers, and
I'm looking at the line right now, it looks like
Pittsburgh's given about three and a half on this one,

(46:04):
and uh, it's funny because you know last week they
looked pathetic. They really did. But before we get into
the game itself, what about Terry Bradshaw? How whoa did
come out and left the tell us what he said?
Terry Bradshaw one nuts on Antonio Brown? He did, and
some of his quotes. It was like, wow, Terry. I
saw the headline where it's okay, Terry Bradshaw says he's

(46:28):
not a fan of Antonio Brown. I'm like, okay, all right.
He says he can't stand guys like a B So
I read the quote and this is one quote I
cannot emphasize how I cannot stand and have a disdain
totally for players like that. I don't want any part
of them. I wouldn't like them. They would hate me

(46:49):
if they were on our team, they would hate me
because I wouldn't throw to him. I will, yeah, I
will not put up with that kind of behavior. You
don't win with it. Why wouldn't Why haven't we won
more super Bowls? There is talent, but it's just guys
like him. Let him go and his brand and whatever

(47:10):
it is. He's doing. So he just came off the
top rope and crushed to Antonio Brown. There. You don't
see a lot of quotes like that in this day,
and you really don't because everybody's politically correct. So my
hats off to Terry Bradshaw, who I guess at his
stage of his life, he doesn't give it on. He's
just gonna go and say what he wants to say.
And he's just quote, I'm not pulling for him. I
could promise you that, And I'm sure the one person

(47:31):
who loved reading this was Mike Tomlin the Cult of
the Steelers. Well, there's a couple of things here with
Terry Bradshaw. I'm with them in instances where he's talking
about it's the ultimate team game. You gotta be pulling
in the same direction instead of worrying about yourself. Yeah,
I agree with those things. But in his quote his
diet tribe against a B, He's like, I wouldn't throw

(47:53):
to him. How is that pulling in the same direction?
You know what I mean? That doesn't make a whole
lot of sense. So I just I pushed back when
it turns into or you can't win with a B really,
So are the Patriots doomed that they have Antonio Brown
now they're incapable of winning games? Are competing for a
super Bowl? If Antonio Brown is on the roster and

(48:15):
allowed to play throughout the season. Of course that's not true, right,
But I hear what you're saying, But I think he's
also saying players like that critail you from winning. So
it's not just Antonio's throwing a blanket over those div
I mean throwing Odell Beckham Jr. In that crowd to
put him in there. I mean just the diva situation
where it's all about me, me, me, and not the team.
And you know, it's a different day, it's a different age, Terry.

(48:37):
I'm with you. I hear what you're saying, But you
know what, the players are different now for for whatever
the reason. I mean, they make them more money in
endorsements and you probably made it in your first contract. Well,
I just disagree that you can't win with a selfish player.
I just fundamentally disagree with that. Ideally, you would want
a team minded guy. But to act like there haven't

(49:00):
been any selfish players ever that have won super Bowls.
There had great success solely because they're selfish. That just
isn't true. That's flat out false. I understand where he's
coming from, but I think he took it too far.
I totally understand where Antonio Brown has been a distraction.
He has had some negative influence on the Steelers and

(49:22):
the Raiders that we just saw. I totally get that.
But to act like you can't win with selfish players,
it's just simply untrue. Well, I think you have to
make a distinction between what you're talking about, a selfish
player and a distraction. I mean, you can win with
a selfish player, but it's very difficult to want to
play distracting. You what I mean by that, When Antonio
Brown was videotaping and putting on Facebook the postgame locker

(49:44):
room speech by Mike Tomlin two years ago, that's bad.
I mean that stuff's got to remain in the locker
room and that's a distraction. Is it's selfish? I don't know.
You may want to put it under the blanket of
being selfish, but there's a difference in my mind of
being selfish. You could be selfish and be a winner.
You could be a great you ever be selfish, like
give me the ball? We're on the one young line.
I want the bull because I know I could bring

(50:05):
it over the goal line for you. Maybe that's selfish.
Selfish could be good, but the distraction is bad. Yeah right,
but uh, you know, you look at other situations. Take
a guy like tarall Owens, you know tarall Owens, you
would say he's a me guy, right, he was a
selfish guy. And in Super Bowl thirty nine, you're your

(50:27):
three points away from winning a championship, you know, against
the Patriots. So that's all I'm saying, Andy, is I
don't want to have it go so far where it
turns into you can't win. You can't win with a
guy like Antonio Brown. Really, so the Patriots are doomed.
Patriots have no chance to win a super Bowl just
because Antonio Brown is a me guy and can be

(50:47):
a distraction. That's just false. Yeah right, Well, but Terry
was speaking out of like just hatred and venom against
his former team. But maybe you're right though. In this
day and age, though, Andy, you typically it these politically correct. Yeah,
you know, I don't want him on my team. And
that's about as as much as you get. Terry. Brad

(51:08):
Judge is wet nuts. He's like, I forget this guy
wouldn't throw to him, this guy stakes get by to here.
It was refreshing, reity was. But this is a big
game for the Steelers today in Pittsburgh, the home opener,
coming off the Seahawks win a nailed byer. Really, I
guess the Bengals last twenty. But you know, if the
Steelers are gonna win this game, they gotta get a
running game going, and James Connor and Jalen Samuel's they

(51:30):
gotta win the football. Connor only round for twenty one
yards last week, Samuel's two carries for four yards. They
gotta run the football to open it up at Ben Welsersburger. Yeah,
I agree with you, but they also got to find
their passing game as well. And you had the drop
seas from Dante Moncrief dropped four passes against the Patriots.

(51:50):
That's crazy. Juju Smith's shoes story is a big time talent.
He's gotta get going today against a Seahawks secondary where
you mentioned it. Andy Dalton throws for over four hundred
yards against the Seahawks, and I think when you're used
to as a Seahawks fan, the legion of boom. When
you had Earl Thomas and Richard Sherman, Cam Chancellor on

(52:11):
and on just elite defenses one year after the next,
it makes it even tougher to take. When Tedrick Thompson
is getting beaten on essentially a hail Mary before halftime
on John Ross right, like, that makes it even tougher.
So it was atrocious. It was that. Yeah, it was
atrocious defense by the Seahawks last week, atrocious offense by

(52:35):
the Steelers last week. So something's gotta give today. And
I would expect the Steelers offense to get more so
on track. I can't imagine they're gonna be a nemic
like that for two straight weeks. Okay, I'm gonna go
back to that Seahawk game a week ago, which I thought,
I don't think anybody expected the Bengals to beat Seattle
in Seattle, But I also don't think anybody expected to

(52:56):
get to be so close with the Bengals had an
opportunity to win. And I will go by Canna say this,
and I think that you'll be with me on this one.
In week one, you could unveil a lot of packages
that no one knows about. You catch him off guard
because there's no tape now in week to believe me,
the forty nine is will be zeroing in on Andy
Dalton and see what they do with those short passes.

(53:18):
And I think Week two is a different animal than
Week one because you have tape to see everybody's vanilla
in in a preseason and it come to week one,
there's no tape, and that his tape, and we're gonna
see what happens today. Today is a big day in
the National Football League. Yeah, I follow you. You know,
if you take the Steelers, it's a different animal, right
if you compare it to Zach Taylor and making his

(53:40):
his first start, his first coaching appearance in the NFL, like,
that's a different deal. So yeah, I understand where you're
coming from. So yeah, we'll see what that Bengals offense
does the second game with the Zach Taylor era at
home against the forty niners. But for the Steelers, I mean,
you got to do whatever you can to open it

(54:01):
up because three points and how badly they performed against
the Patriots, that just you're gonna have a long, long
season if you can't find your offense. So I think
the Steelers come to play today. I think the Steelers
get it done. And don't forget about the Steelers defense.
I think the Steelers defense will snuff out there the
run game of Seattle. I really do. They were rough
last right, they were really really bad. They get Sean

(54:22):
Davis the safety back because Cameron Kelly was just atrocious
last week against the Patriots, so that should help the
defense out. I want to see how this game goes down, really,
because those were embarrassing performances last week, much more for
the Steelers than the Seahawks. But the Seahawks given up
that amount of passing yards to Andy Dalton. That's not
gonna cut it throughout the season either. And I don't

(54:45):
think you'll see that anymore from any Andy Dalton this year.
I don't think you will. I just I was shocked
gentleman's bet. Does he get to four hundred yards passing
in any game from I don't think he does. I'll
bet you those those stupid things you eat on Sunday
you buy me a box of NUTRIVIU bars. Yeah, I
will do that, thank you very I went on that
that really just money wise, really, but I wouldn't do

(55:06):
that to you, but I would buy those nutrid whatever
they are. I don't know those funny looking things anyway,
get us on Twitter, you could do that. It's called
at the No Show. That's his account, really belongs to him.
It's Brian Knows at the No Show, n O e
at Andy ferman fs are or we'd love to hear
from you how eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox.

(55:27):
That translates to eight seven seven six three six nine
on our line up today, always jam packed. This hour
Bonn and Barrel betting. And believe me, Brian No was hot,
but I was on his tail last week. I had
a good week, but I wasn't good enough. Bonn and
Barrel Betting, This Hour, Hour number three, the chic Alice Marves,
Fox Sports Radios, NFL Insider and this the NFL himself,

(55:49):
And of course we followed up with Brian No. One
knows Pitts. But maybe maybe this is the team that
deserves all the hype. That's next. It was a route
is coming right up right now is twenty two minutes
past the hour. This is Fox Football Sunday. He's Brian No,
I'm Andy Fermana. By the way, I got some great
news I really do. There's a quick and easy way

(56:09):
you could save money. Switched to Geico. It only takes
fifteen minutes to see if you could say more on
car insurance with Geico. Go to Geico dot com and
see how much you could save. All right, rolling along
NFL Sunday number two and maybe, maybe, just maybe your
guy and you hit this on the head. I know
because I have it in my little book called nose Notes.

(56:30):
I keep notes of what you say. Yes, maybe Marcus
Mariota and the Tennessee Titans are the team that deserves
the hype, not the Cleveland Browns, because let's meet those
Titans destroyed the Browns in Cleveland. Mariota throw three touchdown
passes and what was a big seventy five odo? I
think it was to Derrick Henry. So now you said

(56:50):
it before the season started. Can he come along, Marcus Mariota?
And maybe he has, Maybe he has. We'll see what
happens today because they'll hosting the Colts. Well, I still
am not a believer Andy with Mariota. I think that
it's not just an injury deal with him, because he's

(57:11):
had some really bad luck with injury issues. It's just consistency.
It's general consistency. So we'll see if he can take
a step in the right direction. Today, the Colts have
justest owned the Tennessee Titans, not just in the Andrew
Luck era, but especially in the Luck era where Luck
was eleven and oh against the Titans. So it's a

(57:31):
big game for the Titans, and you're right. They they
showed up in a big time way against the Browns
and smacked them around really good. And it does show
you the difference between trying to perform with expectations like
the Browns and without expectations like the Titans. The Titans
are capable of sneaking up on some teams and making
some big time noise this year. Because they're not a

(57:54):
trendy Super Bowl pick like the Browns are Tennessee, whatever reason,
they just get glossed over completely, you know. Today, maybe
it's a lack of sizzle where it's Mike ray boll Okay,
seems to be doing a good job, but he's not sexy.
He's not gonna be a talked about nationally type coach, right,

(58:17):
same thing with Mario and not a sexy quarterback. So
they fly under the radar big time. Because they're off Broadway.
You know, Nashville, Tennessee. They give another three to the
coast today. Nashville, Tennessee is up Broadway. And honestly, you know,
to me in the state of Tennessee, did number two
to the balls? They really are Even though Tennessee football
stinks right now, they're on a down swing. I think
more people are concerned with the University of Tennessee's football

(58:37):
program than the Tennessee Titans. That's just my take. I
don't live in Tennessee, but you know, if someone does,
they could tell me. I think I'm right on that. Well.
They fly under the radar as much as anybody in
the National Football League. And all I'm saying is sometimes
that can be to your benefit. There is something to
be said about sneaking up on everybody and not having
the bulls eye on your chest. Remember this off season

(59:00):
when Brown said coach Freddie Kitchens was like bulls eye
on the chest, Like, what's that all about? Like teams
are trying to beat us. They're trying to beat us
anyway that they're trying to beat you harder. Now you
know you're a marked team. You're not sneaking up on anybody.
So make no mistake the Titans beating the Browns down
by thirty points, forcing three interceptions on Baker Mayfield. Delaney

(59:24):
Walker after the games saying they are who we thought
they were, your marked team and that makes a difference.
The Titans aren't and they can reap the rewards for
that this season. That was wonderful. Camera Wakes backed Baker
Mayfield for a safety in the first half. And you know, honestly,
I I think with the brown would just sloppy out
of control at eighteen penalties for over a hundred eighty

(59:45):
yards in that game last week, So it was just crazy.
But the Colts right now, they're running back Marlon Mack
went on just simply four years and carries, so I
think that he could run against the Colts today. They
really can think they're gonna beat him. I think they're
gonna beat him good too. You like the Titans today.
He had a great game. But I got a betting

(01:00:05):
nugget for you, Andyman, You ready for this? Check this
one out? All right? Here we go betting against a
team beginning the season with back to back road games.
It's fourteen and one against the spread. This goes back to.
So you gotta find teams that are playing back to
back road games. One of those teams is the Colts.

(01:00:28):
The Colts are on the road for two straight weeks
to begin the season. So you would, based on the trend,
lean Titans minus three today, you like that, You're gonna
go Titans minus three based on this trend, Coults are
starting off two road games back to back weeks. No, no,
you're not buying it. No, I don't know. And one

(01:00:51):
Andy against the spread fourteen one. That's dominant. I know.
But you know, history does show us a lot, but
I don't think it shows us much in betting. Lead don't.
Then I'll tell you why I say it, because you know,
you look at those stats and even status in old sports.
When you say, look what happened, look at the past.
You see these nuggets. It's a different era, it's different places,
it's a different scenario. It's so we're talking to the

(01:01:13):
last four years, right, still right, I mean it's a
revamp rostera to some extent. Come on, okay, but look
at it this way. If this is the trend, I'll
give it to you again because it's so worthy. But
not I'm just saying it's it's very worthy. So I
just wanted to say it again. Betting against the team
beginning the season with back to back road games. That's four.

(01:01:37):
To think about this, the Titans minus three. They're just
a regular home favorite minus three. That's just the typical line, right,
And they don't have Andrew Luck. You got Jacoby Brissett
in there. There's ever a time to take the Titans
as a home favorite. You today, no doubt. I'll give
the close three. I'll do that. Sure, No, you got
a lay three and take the Titans. Yeah, no, you're

(01:01:59):
not with it? Right? But I like the Titans in
this game. I don't. I I give you know what,
if I'm a betting man, I would give the Colts.
I would give you Indianapolis and seven. How's that? That's
how much confidence I have in the Titans today, really
because they're on I think that win last week in
Cleveland really could start a snowball effect for this team.

(01:02:20):
I really do. So what's with all the pushback on
this stat If you like the Titans? What? What what's
that about? Andy? I don't like stat I don't like
the stats. I want to look at the game at hand. Today,
today's game at hand, not with the stats. Well, hey,
we looked at the game, and we're looking at the game,
and this is just an extra stat on top of it. Right,

(01:02:43):
get this analysis side of the way. Here's the stats
that it's just it's a cherry on top of the
overall Sunday. That's all all right, you're right. And I
tell you what I like to stand. You gave me
earlier that the Titans never beat the Colts with Andrew
Luck on the center and the two and oh against
Indianapolis with Jacobe Percida the cook quarterback. I like that.
I like, that's not even better. So you like that's that.

(01:03:04):
You know you don't like the betting step, but you
like that's that. Yeah, that's a good stat your statue.
You know what, These stats will make you crazy. They will.
I look at this stat that they never beat the
culture with Luck. I mean, it's crazy. Just look at
right now. I like the momentum this Tennessee team has.
The game is at Tennessee. I think the Colts right
now are frazzled. I think the culture still overcoming the

(01:03:25):
shock of no Andrew Luck. I think there's a lot
of factors that gonna in through it that you can't
put on paper. And I do think Tennessee is gonna win.
And I'd give somebody seven on that. I really would. Wow. Okay,
look at you? All right? So maybe you go teaser
on this one, you know, be Titans minus three. You
take the Titans and the teasers where you get extra

(01:03:45):
points time to another team. I like it. So you
get my gambling juice is flowing over here, firm. I
here to do. That's what I'm here to do. I'm
here to help you. I want to help That's what
I need to do. All Right, we move on. He's
probably no. I'm Andy Ferman. You've got any comments? If
you have that gut, you'll call us. And I'm not
giving out the number anymore. How do you like to do?

(01:04:06):
I'm not because if you don't, if they don't want
to call music were afraid? I got a tweet, I'm
gonna rea. Will we come back on the other side.
But all they need to do is run, and they'll
run and we'll tell you all about it. Nextra first

think I'm gonna win this week. You know, I really
do well. Hey, man, it's got to happen at something

(01:07:21):
that wants this. July, I don't think. I don't know.
By the way, I got a tweet for you. J.
Frank Rodriguez on Twitter says, we talked about Terry Bradshaw
really bashing Antonio Brown uh in the Pittsburgh Post review.
I believe it was he said, I'm not a Terry
Bradsher apologist, but it has said that quote you can't
win with a selfish guy unquote. I believe it has

(01:07:42):
meant as a generalization as it is a very hard
thing to win with that type of player. Also, TiO
was a bad example. He didn't win a super Bowl. Okay,
A couple of things here. First, J. Frank Rodriguez, he
has super Bowl as one word, which is just if

(01:08:02):
you take nothing from me, take this. Super Bowl is
two words. It's the biggest game we got in all
of sports. We gotta get it with two words, all right.
I'm a stickler for this, Andy, I let other things
go when it comes to grammar and formatting and anything
like super Bowl is too freaking words. We gotta get
that right. Okay, it's the first thing. Now, he was

(01:08:22):
pushing back on me saying, well, look at t O.
T O was a diva. T O was a selfish guy,
and he was like this close from winning a super Bowl.
And he's like, that wasn't a good example. He didn't
even win. Like, the point is, you were this close
to winning one with the guy he had nine catches
a hundred and twenty two yards on one leg. Right,
he wasn't the guy preventing the Eagles from winning a

(01:08:45):
super Bowl. So spare me on this. You can't win
with selfish guys. And then he goes on and says,
better example, Michael Irving, selfish but a winner. It's Michael Irvin. Okay,
I love it. There's nothing better andy than win in
There's nothing better to me than when well, actually, guy
is wrong. You know, there's always well actually, well actually

(01:09:07):
two plus two is five and you're like, no, actually
it isn't. You know. That's what we got here with
very good Michael Irving. My uncle Irving would appreciate that.
Michael Irving. Okay, by the way, a shameless plug right now,
because I think Fox may have the best game on
TV today. Vikings at Packers. Vikings at Packers, a black
and blue game for that above Saints Rams. Well that

(01:09:30):
that's a revenge game, so that's that's right there too.
But the Vikings Packers, that's pretty good. It really is.
Green Bay's giving up two and a half two and
a half on that one today and uh really and
truly two games, two teams that are undefeated. Last week,
Vikes all over the falconelve, green Bay one ugly on
that Thursday night opener ten three at Chicago. Matt Ryan
was at the set to twice. But the Vikings Dalvin

(01:09:52):
Cook rush for a hundred eleven yards throws to Stefan
Digs at Adam Thalem And that's a formula for winning.
That's what you gotta do. But the question is can
the quarterback in Minnesota, Kirk Cousins, be accurate? That's the key.
I don't I the accuracy on Crusins is you know
you got Cousins and maybe with Aaron Rodgers, can the

(01:10:13):
Packers protect him? That's another factor in this game as well,
Like the other question is can Aaron Rodgers being commercials
that aren't got awful? Can we make can we scrap
the agents with the state farm commercials? Please? Can that happen?
Get rid of it? New format new concept on with life. Gosh,

(01:10:34):
those things driving me crazy, Andy crazy. But anyway back
to the game. So Kirk Cousins, yeah, he can be accurate.
He's shown that he can be accurate. The weird thing
last week was you see the run to pass ratio.
This sounds very nerdy, but thirty eight rushes for the
Vikings against the Falcons only ten passes. It was a

(01:10:55):
flashback to nineteen seventies football. It's like an army army
football game. It was crazy, but hey, it worked. They
had a twenty eight nothing lead and they just went
with it with a dominant running game and playing sound defense.
So they're gonna do that. They're gonna sprinkle in. Kirk
Cousins went appropriate. If they can rely on their defense
and running game, I don't think you're gonna have the

(01:11:17):
same success running the football today against that Packers defense.
So the you're gonna have to rely on Kirk Cousins
a little bit more today. That's what I will you
talk about the running game. I tell you what I
think the Packers right now? Can they run the football
against Minnesota? Aaron Jones last week was like thirteen carries
for thirty nine yeards. Jamal Williams five carries for nothing,
five carries, no yards against the Bears, and the Packers

(01:11:38):
are at home. I think they have a little bit
of momentum. That was a pretty good win. It was
ugly win, but it was a good win at Chicago.
That's why you come out of there with the win,
even if it's ugly, and ugly wins better than a loss.
So that's what the deal is over there. So I like,
I like the Packers at home, but this is a
game I stay away from. I don't think I'm betting
on this one. If I'm a gambler. I don't think
you would too, because you just don't know. It's very

(01:11:59):
close is either way. But I think the Packers winning
a squeaker I hear you. I take the points because
the Vikings have more than a fighting chance. When you
think about the Packers offense that you just referenced last
week against the Bears defense. Bears have a fantastic defense,
we know that, but three points that was just a
ten points rather, that was pathetic offense by the Packers

(01:12:21):
most of it. So I don't think that they're gonna
all of a sudden boom the light switch goes on
and Matt Lafleur's offense it's firing on all cylinders. The
Vikings defense is too good for that. I'd be really
surprised if this was a strong offensive game for the Packers.
And with that in mind, yeah, I'm gonna take the points.
Vikings got a great chance in this ballgame. You know,

(01:12:41):
you you mentioned something very funny, and I'll go back
to a week ago and you took about offenses. The
Browns stunk. Their offense was terrible, The Steelers was non existent,
and the Packers was terrible too. Yeah, I don't know
why on week one we're basically no one really knows
your schemes and they have no film to study what
you're gonna do. Why the offense would be so sluggish

(01:13:03):
or maybe not in existent on on week number one
in the NFL. Well, I do think, Andy, there is
something to not playing in the preseason. I'm not gonna
put everything on it, but there's something if you look
at look at the Packers and just some delay of
game penalties are having to burn time outs to avoid
delay of game. That's the type of stuff where it's

(01:13:23):
like you're not in a rhythm at all. You're completely rusty.
And some of that has to go back to not
playing in the preseason. So for everybody who bangs on
the preseason and said, why do we even have a
complete waste of time, there are some benefits to actually
playing in the preseason. And for the teams that don't,
you see some of that rust. There's no doubt about that.

(01:13:45):
I tell you what football is the only spoil you
scratch ahead and say, I do understand why the regulars
are not playing in the preseason. It's the only spot
where you really need to get some reps. I mean,
it's a physical situation. College football has no preseason, but
they play the path season. They played a cup cakes,
which is a way to warm up for a conference.
I hate to say that, but it's true. That's what
they do. Look at the Tennessee Chattanooga yesterday, forty five zip.

(01:14:08):
That's that's an exhibition game. That's that's a practice. That's
a scrimmage. That's a scrimmage with with jerseys and officials.
That's basically what it is. But in the NFL, a
game that's so physical and there's no preseason really to
speak of. Back in the day, that had six weeks
of training, Kip, and they played four of six preseason games.
You know, now, it's ridiculous. They don't do why salaries
are too much money, the risk of getting hurt for

(01:14:29):
star player, and they see them. But you see that
rust coming off in week one. Yeah, well, we'll see
how much rust is worn off for the Packers from
week one to week two. But like I said, against
a really good Vikings defense, I expect the Packers to
have more success offensively this week than the last game
against the Bears, but I think it's gonna be dramatically better.

(01:14:52):
I still think that they gotta work out the kinks
and without having any preseason action for the starters, most
notably Aaron Rodgers, I don't think that they're gonna all
of a sudden get right offensively against that Vikings defense.
I don't well, don't forget right now. Last year and
they played I think they played a lambeau Field. They
put to a tie. It was a twenty nine tie,
but that's because Daniel Carlson was missing three field goals

(01:15:13):
that cut right afterwards for the Vikings. That was brutal.
But I remember also the fact that now Green Bay
has a ten day rest period between their opening. If
that means a lot, I really do. I think in
the preseason, you know, to get the kinks out, that
work out there, get the snaps together. I think it
means a tremendous amount. Ten days off and you're at home.

(01:15:33):
That's a major, major advantage. I think, I hear you,
but give me the points anyway, no doubt about that.
You're in and I can knock you. You're a winner.
You're a winner because we'll find that in a couple
of minutes. If you want to get a bonna barrel
bending because this game is like a cold drink in
the desert. We call it bonna barrel bedding. It's all yours.

(01:15:53):
It's freaking next Bana barrel betting coming right out about
eleven minutes before the top of the hour. This is
call lock Football Sunday. He's probably know him Andy Firm,
and we got a game to play. Let's play by
the barrel betting. It's bottom. You thought was like wanted
to sleep. You go get my money. I'll put your
brank to sleep betting. Yes, it is is the one

(01:16:15):
and only. Good morning, gentlemen. So I've got some good
news Andy, you're gonna be pleased. You are our big
winner for the week. Stick it no, stick it. It
was a tight race. I'm not gonna lie. Yes, yes,

(01:16:35):
what happened? What happened here? You lost? That's ear one
for Andy, Brian, you went three into the big miss
for you. Brian was leavy on Belle receptions against the Bills,
but over under a five and a half he had
six receptions. Why why man? Yeah, not not terrible. Both

(01:16:57):
did really well, had winning records on both sides. So
we moved on though. Now last week we did my
players from my fantasy football league with some of are
my co workers here at Fox Sports Radio. This week
we're moving on to your former producer here and former
bottom Barrel betting host, Gavin the Goon. Okay, so we're

(01:17:22):
gonna start off first. Russell Wilson combined passing and rushing TDS.
I've got an over under two and a half. Who
are you going with? I can go ahead for the champion,
Andy Furman, what do you got here? Over? Definitely over?
Are you kidding? Two and a half combination rushing, I'm
passing two and a half over It's easy, bit I

(01:17:46):
go under. I'm going under on this one. I think
that the Steelers gonna play some pretty good defense. I
could see the Seahawks not scoring points galore. And if
Russell Wilson doesn't have a rushing touchdown, which is very possible,
I like the under. Give are under on this Well,
stay under, you stay under under. Betters were a crazy bunch.
Moving on, we will go to uh. Gavin has the

(01:18:08):
Chargers defense team defense. They're up against the Lions. I
want an over under of one and a half total
interceptions by the Chargers defense. Wow, Okay, that's a good
line right there. Matthew Stafford. Uh. I'll get to the
Lions later. How they completely disappointed me last week against

(01:18:29):
the Cardinals. But yeah, I'm gonna take the under on
this one. I don't think that Staffords is gonna be
given picks away left and right. I'll take the under. Well,
he didn't have any picks last week. But here's the
guy that's gonna throw forty plus attempts every week. He
may throw fifty five or sixty today, So I say,
over the good lord, Yeah he may have to today. Really,
I say over all right, all right, next, we're on

(01:18:54):
the opposite idea. We always have been good. All right,
up next. I wish I had done this with Austin
Ekeler last week, but we're gonna go with Kerrie on
Johnson total yards, receiving and rushing. I'm gonna go with
an over under of eighty nine and a half receiving
and rushing yards for Carrie and Johnson. Yeah, you go ahead, Andy,

(01:19:18):
what do you think I'm gonna go on? I'm gonna
go in. It's that's a tall order. I'm gonna good.
I'm gonna take the over. I do like that. Colts
offensive line um and Marlon Mack just ran crazy last week.
Like Carrie on Johnson, he's a good young running back.
So the combination of running and receiving, yeah, I'll take
the over on that. I don't see that happening today.

(01:19:38):
I really don't, and I hope it doesn't happen, really know,
you know? Alright? Moving on last week he had We're
moving on to the Packers and Vikings. Stefan Diggs had
one catch last week against the Packers. This week, I
need to know, is he gonna have over under six
and a half catches? Go ahead, it's and a half

(01:20:01):
for Dick. Yeah, that's good line by you. I'm very
very good. That's Gavin dagon Well, yeah, by gambling instincts
tell me to take the under, but sometimes you gotta
ignore that. Give me the over. I think Diggs has
a resurgence today. Can have to throw it a lot
more than last week. I got the under. I think

(01:20:23):
there's a problem, I really do. And then not talking
about it. I think there's a problem there all right.
And finally a real quickly injury injury FIBA. Spain is
minus four at Argentina. Who you got give me Tina,
give me four. Give me Argentina over here. I got Spain.
I got Spain because you're a loser. That's why you're

(01:20:44):
a loser. Wherever you go, I go the other way,
because you are a loser. Oddly personal, you know, it
looked like they didn't even need him to win. We're
gonna tell you all about it where on Fox Football
Sunday coming up right here next are listening to Fox Sports.
He looked like an m v P. And that's coming

(01:21:05):
right up. But right now it's time to say America,
wake up, because it is Fox Football Sunday. He's Brian
oh Andy Fermin who are both coming to you live
from the Fox Spots Radio studios. We brought to you
by Geico. Fifteen minutes can save you a fifteen more
on car insurance. Visit Geico dot com for a free
rate quote. It's ball day. It's week two in the NFL,

(01:21:25):
and there's no one who studies it harder or better
than my guy, my partner, my friend, the one and
only Brian know the hour of power at Brian? No, Hello,
b what's going on? Andy Fermin? Always great to be
here with you a week to some tasty matchups, even
tastier than my neutral green cereal bars. That's sound great
the matchups. Anything's tastier than that. By the way, why

(01:21:46):
are you talking smack about my Sunday? It's Sunday. It's
time for wings, for pizza, for beer, for pretzels, for
chips at five am on the West Coast. Yes, yes, yes,
I should be eating hot wings right now. According to wings,
hot dogs, hot wings, cold beer. It's football, that's what
it's allow of people getting their girls out right now

(01:22:07):
for tailgating. That's what they're doing. That's what they do.
I mean, I agree with you, but at five am
it's cereal bars. By the way, Cody Scotch tweets us
and he and he must be a die hard Colts fan.
He says, where does this believe that the Titans are
going to magically crush the Colts? Where does it come from?

(01:22:28):
The Colts almost beat the almost almost beat the Charges
in an away game, and they lost due to an anomaly.
The Charges are better than the Titans, and then Terry
won't be missing two field goals in two games in
a row. That I agree with you. But when a
guy like Philip Rivers completes passes and eats up their
defense for three plus yards and the game is at home,

(01:22:49):
and Titans run a bit of a role by crushing
Cleveland and Cleveland list week, I like the Titans. The
thing is, who said the Titans we're gonna crush the Colts?
What show is he listening to? I swear like the fans.
The fans have fan hearing, you know, Like, no, we
never said that Titans Titans by four touchdowns, easy win.

(01:23:11):
No one ever said anything about the Titans crushing the Colts.
We just talked about them covering a three point spread.
That's it. And you bumped it up. You said seven.
You like him by a little bit more than that
seventeen to score. I said that crushing. Oh they're getting
crushed by a touchdown. That's not getting crushed. I don't
know one step further to our our good friend, Mr Scotch,

(01:23:33):
Cody Scotch. I could be wrong, and I've been wrong before.
Say I'm a man, I can admit that, but in
my gut, I tell you I like Tennessee, and I
could be wrong, but I will tell you as if
I'm right, you better right to us and tweet us
next week and I'm gonna dump all over you. How's
that That's just the way the game is played. Well,
that's the thing, Andy is we could beat him halfway
because we rarely we need to have a fan um

(01:23:57):
incentive situation over here, because where if we're wrong here,
we're gonna get a bunch of brushback from this dude.
See I told you so, how dare you say the
Colt's gonna get blown out? But if the Colts lose,
we're not gonna hear from this guy at all. Of course,
So we need to have an incentive program where if
he hits us up and says, hey, you guys are
right Titans one where we highlight it and we give

(01:24:19):
him a golf clap. How about that we golf clap
him next week. What do you think about that? I
think that's a good fan interaction incentive program. Exactually, and
I I asked him right now, I plead with him,
do me a favorite, please, Mr Scotch throw the rock
away so you can't hide underneath it. Next week, do
me that favorite as you move on. Okay, we got it.

(01:24:39):
This is a pretty good game. Late game today. Chiefs
want to know, Raiders want to know at the Raiders.
The black hole got one of old Chiefs, one of
old Raiders raiding m v P Pat Mahomes And by
the way, he loost tyreek Hill, his wide receiver to
a shoulder injury in that first hit last week, and
they still crushed Jacksonville. And at the time he'll have
two catches for sixteen years. But Mahomes, he's rolling from

(01:25:01):
last year three hundred seventy eight passing, launched three touchdowns
and he's had good connections now, a good relationship, good
chemistry with his receivers. Shammy Watkins, how do you like that? Yeah,
Sammy Watkins went for almost two hundred yards receiving. Last week,
he was fantastic against a good Jags defense. So Patrick

(01:25:22):
Mahomes is just insane. But you start going through the
layers of this game, Andy, and look at last week.
Last week doesn't mean everything, but let's just use it
as a backdrop, please do The Raiders offense played pretty
well against the Broncos defense that there's no argument the
Broncos defense is better than the Chiefs defense. Right, Chief's

(01:25:42):
defense is not very good. You look last week, Gardner
Minshew fills in for Nick Foles, who got hurt. Gardner Minshew,
sixth round rookie quarterback, completes twenty two of passes for
almost three hundred yards and two touchdowns. That's what the
Chiefs defense did last week. The human coming with you

(01:26:03):
gotta be better than that. So in this game, could
the Raiders keep it respectable? Could they keep it close? Yeah?
I absolutely think against that Chiefs defense, Raiders are fully
capable of making it a fourth quarter game. And if
that happens, hey, all bets are off. If it's a
fourth quarter game, well, Kansas City has given up seven
in this game. As far as the yards that I
have is that is that the same same pace at

(01:26:25):
seven points? Okay? And we talked about the Kansas City
Chiefs defense, which was a problem last year. Although they won,
it's like playing in the Big Twelve, it really is.
They gave up three scores and three forty seven yards
to a combined Nick Foles and guard the Minshew, who
I had never heard of until until last week. I
never heard of the guy, really, did you? I mean,
have you heard of him? Of course? Minshew mania last

(01:26:47):
year at Washington State. Remember he put the fake mustache
on his head coach Mike, But did you hear him
training camp with this guy? Never was supposed to play
this year? Come on, he was. He was the backup,
you know, but just being in Portland didn't There are
a lot of Cougars fans Washington right away, So yeah,
of course I knew he was there in Jacksonville, but
he wasn't expecting to play at all. Last week, falls

(01:27:10):
goes down, incomes Minshow and he lights up the If
Minshew can do it, Derek Carr is capable of doing
the same thing. That's just not a good Chief's defense.
So I think the Raiders keep it respectable. And again
my stat of the day, Andy Furman. She dismissed him.
It's a great stats, not a better stat of the day.
Betting against the team, betting against the team beginning the

(01:27:33):
season with back to back road games fourteen and one
against the spread. And so you look at the Chiefs,
they're one of these four teams with back to back
road games. So if you're looking for a spot, maybe
it take the rates plus the points this morning, and
you know what, it's gonna be a good game. It
really is. And I fund the defensive coordinated for the
Kansas City Chiefs. First of all, I'm not gonna be

(01:27:54):
buying a home. I'm renting because I may be out
of a job after this year, because honestly, the defense
is to and just so look at at got Patrick
Mahomes to put out the points they pick up, but
just scoring more than you do. But you gotta force
Derek Carr to throw short takeaway Tyra Tyrone Williams out
of the picture for Oakland. Really, you gotta take them
out of there. Raiders, gotta give Josh Jacobs more carries.

(01:28:15):
You gotta keep Mahomes off the field. What do you do?
You gotta eat at the clock, move to change run
the football if they can. It sounds easier said than done.
But keep Mahomes off the field, which is a lot
of teams have tried to do, but I don't think
they could do it. I still think Kansas City was
this game today, but it'll be a lot closer than
people think. Yeah, I'm with you on that. You gotta
use Josh Jacobs, use that running game, keep Mahomes and

(01:28:36):
that dominant offense off the field as much as possible.
One other quick nugget on this one, Andy, is it's
not so much about the game, but it's about the Raiders.
Jonathan Abram, the rookie safety for the Raiders, he's down
for the year, had a rotator cuff issue. He heard
himself against the Broncos last week. And my thought is this,

(01:28:57):
I'm curious what you think about it, Andy, is Jonathan
Abrams one of these big hitting safeties and you look
at the guys say, like Bob Sanders remember him with
the Colts where he just threw his body around left
and right and he was always banged up. I think
you gotta take that into account if you're drafting a guy.
Abram is a first round pick and the guy. He's

(01:29:20):
a huge hitter. It's no fear throwing his body around,
and one game in he's done for the season. I
realized it's a brutal game and you never know when
injuries are gonna pop up. But I think that's something
that you gotta have at the forefront of your mind.
If you're drafting a guy in the first round, who's
one of these safeties that is just out for blood.
Sometimes that costs you the season and you're injured, right.

(01:29:43):
I think it's just something you gotta consider when you're
taking a guy with the first round pick like that,
you know it happens. I mean, it's just Sani Bengalis
had the first round pick. He's out of the year
as well. The the offensive lineman from Alabama, mean he's gone.
And then that was that was a need. You know,
sometimes you draft drought the best player available. Sometimes you drift.
I need they needed offensive line help. But you know,

(01:30:04):
to to go in another direction. I think there's something
to be said about teams. And I don't know how
important this is in the world of sports, but certainly
broadcasters and writers using his nuggets and and filler, you know,
a team that kind of bonds together and galvanizes when
a player arrives or leaves Raiders. Are they gonna bind

(01:30:25):
together and galvanize because they lose Antonio Brown or with
the Steelers and show themselves as a stronger group because
they don't have Levian Bell this year or Antonio Brown
to the storylines we've read about, right, well, sir, with
the Raiders, I think last week you did see them
come together with the whole Antonio Brown drama as a

(01:30:45):
backdrop when Jon Gruden's going over to the fans at
the Black Hole and he's giving him hugs and high
fives and just see the stress of training camp in
the a B drama like that was a release for
a lot of the Raiders last week. But I'm just
saying Andy with we always talk about this with quarterbacks

(01:31:05):
when they use their athleticism. It's like, hey, run the ball,
extend plays in the passing game. But if you're gonna
run it, just get down slide. Don't take that additional punishment.
Try to remain upright. And while I realize safeties aren't
gonna slide, I'm not saying it's the exact equivalent. If
you're throwing your body around with just reckless abandoned right there,

(01:31:29):
You're gonna have a shelf life. You're going to get
injured at some point. Well yeah, but when I go
back to Jonathan Abram, if he's just a heat seeking missile,
you know he's eventually going to get hurt. He's at
least got a better likelihood of getting hurt than other
safeties that aren't doing the same thing. That's all I'm saying.

(01:31:51):
You gotta take that into account when you're drafting a
guy in the first round. Right But again, like this
caplanizing of players, you have to prove to the world,
like we don't need him. He's happy, We're happy he's gone.
We're gonna be a better team with Adam, you know.
And if you don't have the talent, you're not gonna
win on And I'm really gonna keep one eye on
that Steeler game today because they really have to win
at home against Seattle because what they did last week,

(01:32:14):
I mean it was it was embarrassing and maybe one
of the worst losses, or at least the top three
losses in Steeler history. It was a disgusting game. It
was by I mean it was terrible. I mean, come on.
It was Super Bowls before and this super Bowl. But
you know what, they weren't embarrassed like they were they
were humiliated last week, yes, but still like when you

(01:32:36):
go back to the three More yards at three Rivers
Stadium against the Broncos that they have been painful losses
in Steelers history. I wouldn't what is the difference between
a painful loss and a humiliating loss. You know, us
losing the Super Bowls a painful loss, but the point
this day were humiliated. I mean the Patriots had their

(01:32:57):
way with them. You know, you can lose a game
when a team that's to have their way with you.
And the Pages did anything they wanted to do against
them last week Fight Week one pathetic showing whatever. By
the way, I've got one eye on this Argentina Spain
game because I've got Argentina plus four and bottom barrel betting.
They're off to a horrible start here, Andy Tina's got

(01:33:18):
to pick it up for me. You're a little nervous
about Bana barrel openning. Now I'm may going to come back.
I can't lose back to back weeks here. It could
be I don't think that's ever has that ever happened.
Oh yeah, absolutely sure. I've won two weeks in a row. Yeah,
I don't remember. It's been too too long. The cobwebs
have grown before that. Okay, so are you taking the
Chiefs in this game? Give me the points, give me

(01:33:39):
the rates you went to seven points? Yeah, I'm taking it.
I don't like the Chiefs defense. You know what. I
don't think the Chiefs You're gonna score forty or more today.
I think they'll score in the thirties. But I don't
think they're gonna sco forty. I really don't, which is
a credit to to the Raiders defense to some extent.
Really yeah, yeah, yeah, I think they're I think they're
gonna be better today. Um, and the Jags were last week.

(01:34:01):
I'm not saying the Raiders defense is better than the Jags,
but I think the Raiders will have a better effort
than the Jags did last week, and Josh Jacobs is
a part of that. I think the Raider is gonna
be able to run the ball a little bit better
than the Jags did. So, yeah, I agree with you.
I don't think the Chiefs go for a forty burger today,
but I do think the Chiefs win and I think
they'll cover. I don't. I'm taking the Raiders plus the

(01:34:23):
seven points. You know, you keep this missing my stat
of stacks and you know I'm gonna I'm gonna burn
that stack. You know. I hope it goes away, and
I hope you're wrong, and I'm gonna mention it and
I'm gonna make it. It's gonna make another entrance into
this show. Three mentions minimum and three different windows today.

(01:34:44):
That's can I say something. You're a tremendous gambler. You
really are, because we have those picks, and I respect
you for that and you do your homework, but I
think you could be too smart and you can outsmart yourself.
Look at the teams, look at what they are, Look
at the personnel. Look what they did the prior week
of that's BA looking at it. And I'm looking at
Chief's defense, steaks, That's what I'm looking at. And I'm
looking at the Raiders offense. They played well against a

(01:35:06):
better Broncos defense. Give me the points, give me, give me,
give it to you. I'll give it to you, but
good I'll tell get us on Twitter at the no
Show n E show at Andy from and FSR eight
seven seven ninety Fox eight seven seven sixty three sixty
nine bottom of the hour, that would be eight thirty
on the East coast to Q will visit you. He's
Alex Marvez, Fox Sports Radios, NFL inside. He's tremendous, he's

(01:35:30):
the best in the biz. And of course we follow
it up with Brian No one knows picks. But right
now it's time for revenge. That's next. If you watch
one game today, this is the one. We'll tell you
why in just about a minute twenty one past the hour.
This is Fox Football Sunday. He's Brian No I'm Andy
Furman and we'll live from the guy called Fox Sports
Radio Studios bought him of the hour at about eight

(01:35:51):
ten minutes from now. The chic Alex Morrow Vans, Fox
Sports Radios, NFL inside it But my man, Fox Sports,
it's today. Fox has the games of the day Vikings,
Packers and this one Saints. It rams the revenge game
from the NFC Championship game a year ago. It's unbelievable

(01:36:11):
Fox got an all covered today. Do you agree? Yes?
Um these this is the game of the day Rams
hosting the Saints. I will disagree marginally, because the Sunday
night game that NBC has is a phenomenal matchup as well,
where the Eagles go and face the Falcons. I love

(01:36:31):
that matchup. So I think that there are three marquee
matchups of the day. We're about to talk about the
Saints Rams. You hit on the Packers hosting the Vikings,
but I also think that Sunday night game that is
a juicy matchup right there with Falcon. Gonna argue though, Okay,
Rams are given up to today to New Orleans at
the Rams, all right, and let's list with the Saints.

(01:36:54):
Set this up. The Saints beat the Texans by the
skin of their teeth last week. The Rams was switting
over Carolina seven. Some could say maybe they were looking
into this game looking passed. Listen. I don't think so.
I don't think they do that in the NFL. I
really don't. But the question I have why did Rams
running back Todd Gurley only get fifteen touches last week?

(01:37:15):
He was healthy, He only touched the bull fifteen times
because he's not quite right. That's the way it is,
man like all this stuff with his knee. It didn't
it wasn't just the Rams saying, you know what, let's
go with the hot hand with Anderson. Last year it
was Todd Gurley wasn't right, he wasn't healthy. And when

(01:37:37):
there are all these questions about possible arthritis in his knee,
there's no way, like there's no way if if Fandy
from if Todd Gurley is completely healthy, that the only
has fifteen touches last week. Um, so they're gonna be
careful with the guy going forward because he's just he's
not completely healthy and I don't know that he ever

(01:37:58):
will be going forward. Sadly, you're right. I mean that's
the big question right there. But you know, there's a
couple of I guess storylines in this game that have
to be some concern. Uh. Number one, you gotta believe
that Drew Brees is having nightmares with Aaron Donald, UH,
defensive tackle for the Saints, and uh, they gotta the
Saints gotta deal with Aaron Donald and the Drew Brees

(01:38:19):
could have a long day Saints and Drew Brees gotta
get rid of that ball early if the Saints want
to win this game. That's the key. Although last week, UH,
Aaron Donald was shut out on sacks against Carolina. So
we'll see what I mean whatever. I I don't know
what that means, but I do know that Drew Brees
could have a long day today. Well, when you have

(01:38:42):
Alvin Camara out of the backfield, that's a great, great
safety valve and that's a way to lessen the amount
of sacks that you're giving up. And you also, of
course have Michael Thomas who's dynamic as a wide receiver,
and Brees is a smart guy. You know, you can
just throw the ball away and live to fight another down.
So I don't know that Aaron Donald goes off in

(01:39:03):
terms of just generating that type of sack totals against
the Saints today. But I mean, this is a sexy matchup, Andy,
And of course you've got the NFC title game is
the backdrop with the past interference no call heard round
the world, least replaying that that. You'll see that ten
times today over another how many times Fox shows that

(01:39:23):
today on TV? They'll show it one time. I don't
think they're gonna draw it out and draw it out
and draw it out. Most people have been like enough
already turned the page. I think it's interesting, Andy, where
if you look at the Saints getting absolutely host with
that no call last year. It's funny to me that
other fan bases are telling the Saints fan base to

(01:39:44):
just get over it, when you know as well as
I do, if that same no call happened to their
fan base, there's no way you're ever getting over something
like that. Right now, You're exactly right. And I'll tell
you what I'd like to see Drew Brees like really
it out today. I like to see uh, Michael Thomas
going nuts last week. He had liked Tink carries, but

(01:40:05):
he got the cornerback of the Rams. Marcus Peters, he's
got his day cut out for him too, because he's
gonna be the man guarding Michael Thomas. Right and man,
you think till last year, at least the regular season
game where he got burned, Remember that he gave up
the winning touchdown. That was the shout out to Joe
Horn from Michael Thomas when he got the flip phone
out of the uh the uprights. Remember that. So that

(01:40:29):
was Marcus Peters getting absolutely torched by Michael Thomas last year.
So we'll see if Marcus Peters has a better game
today against Michael Thomas. But I like the Saints in
this ballgame. Andy. I don't like how Jared Goff looked
at all last week. He was very inconsistent, inaccurate. And
when you don't have that same play action passing game,

(01:40:52):
if the running game isn't as big of a threat
or as effective, I just think it's a ripple effect
for that Rams offense. Not gonna tell you they're gonna
score six points to night and be anemic, but I
think that they aren't going to be dynamic against a
a pretty good Saints defense. So I like the Saints
in this ball game. Points. Give me a couple of points.

(01:41:13):
I'll take those all day, you know. I like the
Saints that I think it's gonna be a close one.
I like the Saints, maybe by three, maybe by four,
but I will look both these teams are tremendously Talented's
no doubt about that. But I think the advantage comes
in New Orleans because they have Thomas as a receiver
and Alvin Kamara as a backfield guy, and they pose
a lot of problems I think for for for the

(01:41:33):
Rams as far as matchups, because I think Drew Brees
now has a running game which for so many years
he did not have a running game, so he could
open it up with either one of those guys. I
think that's the thing I really do. Now. New Orleans,
they're coming off a win over Houston with that last
second field goal, But I think you gotta throw it
out the window. It happened, they won that They that happened,
they won that game. But there's there's a revenge fact that.

(01:41:56):
Believe me. You know, the coaching staff in New Orleans,
they don't have to get these guys ready for the
game today. Yeah. I mean, look, heck of a win
by the Saints last week, but the whole backdrop of
last season, I just don't think it has a big
time impact in the game today. I don't think at halftime,
whatever the score is, there's some win one for the

(01:42:18):
gipper's speech by Sean Payton like we'll never forget what
happened last year, and I I just don't think it's
like that today. Andy, do you you know what? That's
a great point you just broke, because I think that
the revenge factor is more so for media and fans,
not for the coaches. You're right, I don't I don't
see Sean Payton going in this. You remember last year, right,

(01:42:38):
he may go into the locker room say forget last year.
It's a new year, right. Think of it like this too,
Andy Is. I think a lot of that stuff is
a wash because the Rams are ticked off that they're
not getting respect for making it to the Super Bowl,
with a lot of people say they didn't belong there.
So it's the rare blend of the Rams are ticked

(01:42:59):
off about the aftermath of the no call. Also, it's
not just the Saints. Well you know, we'll see it,
but you like the Saints. I like the Saints. You
want the points, I say, the Saints by three or
four points. But you know what, and I think, and
my gun, I'm I'm more more into this game with
my heart that I go because I'm feeling for the Saints.
I like Sean Payton a lot. He's a local guy.

Now the introduction Please Fox Sports Celebrity Hotline the celeb

(01:46:40):
him self, the One and Only Chic Alex Marvez with
Brian Noe Andy from and Hello Chic, how are you?
I am doing as well as my Florida Gators, which
is awfully, awfully good. Huge win by my team last night?
Ready for a Week two of the NFL season today
wasn't it? But but but Felipe Frank's with a disgusting
injury yesterday. So how do we apply that to your morning?

(01:47:03):
So far? Alex? I'm more of a I'm more of
a Kyle Traps guy right now. He was the backup
who came in and led the Gators from a nineteen
point deficit, and it's interesting. Just one thing to note
on track. He actually beat out Felipe Franks for the
starting job last year after the Gators lost to Missouri,
but he suffered a season ending foot injury and practice,

(01:47:24):
so you know, and then Franks came into a better
job than what he was doing before that, and it's
kept his job. But I like this young man playing
for the forty Gators right now. He is a starting
caliber quarterback and did not wet the bed, if so
to speak, when he had to go in there and
not laying a very rowdy atmosphere Likeington and led my
team the victory. Look at it when I watched that
game list night. When we move on a week two,

(01:47:44):
as you mentioned, the NFL and the revenge factor already
in effect. I think it maybe a revenge factor. I
don't know, Sagent Rams and the question I have. I
asked my partner Brian about that. Todd Gurley only had
fifteen touches against Carolina this week. What's up with that? Well?
How many did you have in the fourth? Four? Or
Andy eight? Eight rushes for sixty four yards? That was huge?

(01:48:07):
He listen, They're gonna be using him judiciously. It's not
going to be the same Todd Gurley that motored everybody's
fantasy teams to victory, right, I mean, this is gonna
be a different guy. They're gonna split carries with him
and Malcolm Brown, and they're thinking is less is more
with Todd Gurley because the Rams are thinking super Bowl,
you don't think sixteen games season and then that's you're
thinking nineteen games. So they're gonna be judicious in the

(01:48:29):
way that they used Todd Gurley, and he's not gonna
be I don't think, at least at this point, carry
a game type of guy unless absolutely necessary. And when
you've got Malcolm Brown as your backup, that's a real
strong suit for the Rams. You know, the Lions tried
to sign him. They got him. He's a restricted free agent.
They made an offer sheet to him. He in the
Rams wanted to keep him. You see him score two
touchdowns last week, but Andy looked for the Ramps to

(01:48:51):
continue to split the load. Gurly and Malcolm Brown in
a perfect boat for them, and at some point start
to work in Darrell Henderson, their third round pick out
of Memphis. He did not have a app last week
against Panthers. You know, Alex, we try not to overreact
based on week one, but sometimes you underreact based on that.
So if you think about a couple of teams with

(01:49:11):
high expectations that stunk it up Brown's Steelers among others,
was there anything you saw last week where you say
that's gonna be a problem going forward this season for
this team? Well, I mean the Browns. You know what's
interesting is that when there's so many storylines to this one,
whether it's Sam Donald having him this time because of
mono nucleosis um, you know, in the possibility of the

(01:49:33):
Jets beginning their season oh and six, because if they
don't be Cleveland on Monday Night their next four games Patriots, Eagles, Cowboys,
and then be a Patriots again. Good luck with all that, right,
and you could very well be O and six and
Adam Gates's first season on the way he wants to start.
But you also have that Greg Williams Freddie Kitchens storyline,

(01:49:54):
and it's in regards to this. Greg Williams was the
interim coach of the Browns and he did a pretty
good job writing to ship last year. Right, probably doesn't
get enough credit for helping this team ascend. Everyone else
got credit, but but him, right, And now he's with
the New York Jets. If he blows up this Freddie
Kitchen's offense, Well, first, the brown start oh and two
after everyone had him going nineteen and oh and playing

(01:50:15):
in the Super Bowl, right and be in the seventy
two Dolphins, So we got that. What are we gonna
see from the Browns. In terms of a disciplinary standpoint
eighteen penalties last week. You gotta go back to the
Cleveland Browns the last time this team committed as many
penalties three Jim Brown for the Browns. So what are
we gonna see on Monday ninth football? I think this
is huge for the Browns because if they start oh

(01:50:36):
and two, I get that they can still establish their season.
But man, that pain wagon is gonna be empty, isn't it? Yeah?
It certainly is. You know, I'm looking at this stealing?
Can they bet they look? By thirty? They humiliated by
the Patriots. Their home today gets the Seahawks, which is
not an easy task. I like the stealers. I like
them to win today. But you know what's wrong with
the stealer situation last week? What happened? If they play

(01:50:58):
the Patriots sixty times a season, they probably two and fourteen.
I mean this is they have no answers to that matchup.
And listen, Ben Roethlisberg owen six in his career at
Geloge Stadium, And I don't know, I think you have
to go back to the Terry Bradshaw day. It feels
like the last time this team wanted New England. It
is a nightmare matchup for them. And listen the Patriots

(01:51:19):
getting off to a fast start the way that they did.
You have to go back about six years. I think
it's a two thousand fourteen openers, six seasons the last
time the Patriots won a season opener by double digits.
Normally they're a slow starting team like the New Orleans
Saints and then they get their groove on. Not the
case last week. The Patriots were hitting on all cylinders
and distillers didn't have answers. It's a quirky game to
try to pick today, Andy, because the Seahawks Instiller's only

(01:51:42):
play once every four years. The Seahawks haven't been there
in eight seasons. So I mean, basically, you got Russell
Wilson who was around at that point, and that's it.
And I don't even know if he was there, to
be quite honest with you, So you know, it's just
a weird one. But I mean when you look at
the desperation factor, yeah, I mean Pittsburgh starting Owen two.
I mean again, that's where you're gonna hear all the
critics system of my calmon resurface. You're gonna talk about

(01:52:02):
his defensive coordinator, you know what's going on with him
because it's just been you know, just poor defense, you know,
Kevin Butler to him referring to and you know, not
Dick Lobo caliber defense now by the Stillers. So they
got a lot of a lot of to prove today
against the Seahawks team that might have been trying to
you know, meditation the Bengals a little bit likely in
Week one, but still pulled out to win. You know,

(01:52:23):
alex Odell Beckham Jr. He called out Greg Williams, the
defensive coordinator because O'Dell says last year in the preseason
he's got current teammates that say they were instructed to
hurt him. So if you fast forward it to the
Monday night game, now that Greg Williams and he denied it,
He's like me, do that? No? Not me? Come on,

(01:52:44):
you highlighted something really interesting. He didn't get the Browns job.
Freddie Kitchens did. So would you expect any type of
hits from the Jets against the Browns knowing that Greg
Williams is bent and maybe instructing his guys to hurt
some Cleveland Browns? Do you expect some type of cheap
shot hits like that come Monday night. Uh, this is

(01:53:06):
the only thing that I would expect. And first, if
Odell Beckham Jr. Is so sure about this, Number one,
why didn't he say anything when it initially happened. Number Two,
why isn't the NFL launching an investigation into this? Right?
I mean because Greg Williams is someone on their radar
clearly and will remain there throughout the rest of his
coaching career because of what happened with the bounty gate candle.
So has anyone else corroborated Odell Beckham Junior stories? There

(01:53:28):
another teammate with the Giants or with the Browns that
has actually said that, Yes, Greg Williams instructed us to
maim Odell Beckham Jr. In a preseason game. This was
his intent. This is what Greg Williams, after working so
hard to get back into the NFL to do. He
was so determined to cripple Odell Beckham Jr. In a
preseason game that he ordered his minions to take him out.

(01:53:51):
Let's think about this, Well, that's what he's saying. I'll
just say I'm the messenger. Current teammates told me that
Greg told us to hurt him, right and again, I'd
love to hear corroboration of this story and if it,
if it's indeed true, fantastic in the NFL should be
launching an investigation. Greg william should be suspended and essentially
for life, right if he's back at this But I

(01:54:13):
haven't seen a single sign that that is going on.
All that being said, here's the thing, now, Greg Williams
has space inside Odell Beckham Junior's head went free by
the way, you know then not to stay for it.
So right, so listen, someone comes out and then get
maybe Odell a little bit of a shot. And this
is not like Williams instruction per se. But let's say this,
and you've seen Odell fly off the handle before. Just

(01:54:35):
look at old footed to him and Josh Norman plays
over maybe standing near the pile. You bump him a
little bit, maybe a little bit of nudge, you know,
after he catches a pass and you try to get
Odell Beckham Junior to respond commit a penalty, potentially get
ejected from the game. That to me, and that if
your Freddy Kitchens again first time head coach, You've got
to make sure that Odell Beckham Junior is in the
right state of mind going into this game and try

(01:54:56):
to get Greg Williams out of that condominium that he's
established inside of rain. Right, We've got green Bay hosting
the Vikings on Fox today at lambeau Field green Bay's office.
They gotta gonna track, can they after that tenth three
win at Chicago? Can Aaron Rodgers get it going today? Well,
Anthony Barr first play last week on Defense, right, or
at least the first series comes rolling around the corner,

(01:55:19):
leaving Jake Matthews and the dust and absolutely pounds matt
Ryan and it's set the tempo for the rest of
the game to that Vikings defense. Why do I single
out Anthony Barr? Remember a couple of years ago, right,
the guy who drove Aaron Rodgers into the dirt, broke
his collar bone and and you know, of course no
love lost between those two guys, and then grabbed his junk.
Alexmar Ves, you know you don't have to go, it's

(01:55:41):
a true story. Grabbed his junk because Aaron Rodgers was
mean mugging him and that's what he did. This family
show here, come on now, it's cold world, man, it's
a cold world. So obviously these two teams dislike each other.
I think, not only does Green Bay have to find
more balance on offense and good luck against his Vikings defense,
but you gotta be able to run the football a
little bit more and better than what you did against Chicago.

(01:56:03):
But you've got to stop the Vikings in the run.
Kirk Cousins past ten times last week, and it wasn't
because Kirk was dreadful, because they didn't have to throw
because they were having so much success gouging with Falcons
with the run. Now, I talked with Kenny Clark, the
Packer's defensive linement this week. He was saying that that
that the Vikings running attacks similar to what the Packers
run West Coast style concepts, zone blocking type think. So

(01:56:25):
this is not foreign to the green Bay Packers, but
they gotta they gotta put the game, quite honestly, in
Kirk Cousins hands. And see how Kirk Cousins response having
to throw the Minnesota Vike's to victory rather than have
Dalvin Cook rush the pat the Vikings to to a
win like they did last week against Atlanta. I will
say this, that's no junk. Would you tell us is
no junk. I promised you that he's Alex Moves. He's

(01:56:47):
the man, he's the man of the NFL. He's the chic.
Get him on Twitter at Alex Morvez. Enjoy the games,
Enjoy your gators, have a great week. We'll speak to
you Sunday. MARSL. MARSL. Thank you, gentlemen. And I didn't
meet to jump all of you about the junk. You
know that. You know you know I I didn't write
be I mean, I'm I'm with what you did. But
regardless of your intentions, it's what you do. Andy, it's

(01:57:08):
not your intentions. I'm taking it back. If I have
sent you, I apologhed. No, no, no, of course not.
Come on. I'm not sensitive like that. It's all good.
I think it was fun. I actually think it was
good for us. Okay, that's just it's a lot of junk.
By the way, he is Brian om Andy firm by this.
Listen to this one. After a win, we'll still gonna
give him an l that's next. Nose picks coming right up.

(01:57:30):
That's Brian. No, I'm Andy firming about ten minutes before
the top of the hour, by the way, top of
the hour, which would be nine am on the East Coast,
Mike Harmon and George Rice Stir. They'll follow right up
on this station on many of these same Fox posts
radio affiliates and I Heart Radio and the radio app
and Sirius x M channel Lady three. But right now,
that's goin to my guy, Brian no and nose picks.

(01:57:59):
Here's the d are you in desperate need of gambling
insights for Brian no Is here? Now? Is all right?
Andy Furman one and two? Last week the freaking Lions,
they had an eighteen point eight in the fourth quarter,
those bumps blue. It should have been a winning week,

(01:58:21):
but one in two. Looking to do better this week.
I'm looking at the Vikings Packers. The total is forty three. Okay,
eight of the past ten Vikings games have gone under,
and seven of the past nine in this meeting have
gone under. Give me the under forty three bikes Packers.
That's a good call. I like them. Thank you. Steal

(01:58:43):
of approval right there. I'm gonna looking at another game,
Bears Broncos. Total is forty not a high total, but
keep this in mind. Benver's past nine games have gone under.
The bears past six games have gone under, including the playoffs.
Give me under in that one too to you. And
now the stat of stats Andy, that you have dismissed

(01:59:04):
earlier on this program. How dare you betting against a
team beginning the season backed back road games fourteen and
one against the spread since give me the Bengals. That's right,
the bangle minus one against the forty Niners who are
playing back to back road games and and a little
cheery on top, Bengals have covered five straight in the

(01:59:27):
regular season. It's the longest active streak in the NFL.
There you go, Andy, what do you think of? Thank
you very much? Well, I like that. I like you
look good today. You really do all right? Rapid fire.
Time to go your own way? What do you here?
I go? I tell you why I got an ugly
story you After helping his Dallas Cowboys defeat those Giants

defensive end of the Cowboys, They're not a young Giants

(01:59:49):
fan who approached him as letograph as he walked the
team to the bus. He was wearing a Shakoon Barkley jersey.
To get the right jersey on, kid, I'm totally with
him on that one. UM so quickly Popeyes, how about this?
They say they're out of their chicken sandwiches. They're doing
B y O B bring your own bun. They want

(02:00:09):
to bring in your own bun and they hook you up.
How about that? And that major major shout out to
Georgia what they did yesterday their opponent Arkansas State, the
head coach Blake Anderson, who lost his wife Wendy to cancer.
Everybody wore pink in the crowd. I thought there was
a really classy gesture by them. Awesome by Georgia yesterday.

(02:00:30):
It was wanted to find that people in the stands
