dot com the way tire buying should be Now, Mike Carmen,
Before we get to Thursday night football, I gotta tell
you, you you know, world to proof that World Cup fever
has swept all of us up? Is I spe like
the last two minutes Ty Shirt arguing with me about
Japan's goal today that it was legit because he's got
World Cup pool, Japan's gonna win it all the world.
(01:11):
Tight Shirt doesn't pay attention to sports, will barely pays
attention on this show to what he's doing because he's
worried about Spotify and building grunts, and and and and
screening new episodes of House of Dragon. Now suddenly now
all in on the World Cup. This goal, the ball,
the ball didn't go over the line. It was still
on the line. But and this is unbelievable, Harmon, we've've
created a monster here. My biggest thing is in the
(01:32):
moment and in well all the subsequent moments. How come
we didn't get any of the other replay angles that
they allegedly had. That's the thing that bothered over the line?
Market zero, it's the league game smoking. That was That
was my only question of it, because even the rules
analysts that was part of the Fox coverage was just like, yeah,
(01:54):
they've got access to these others we've seen. I'm like, well,
how about showing us am I the only want to
round you give about the rules. It's just one of
those things because they're live. I'm like, wow, really, really
is it the shadow of the ball? Now? How does
this got? Then there was we're watching games. He's like,
all right, that's an offside. He's got like his pinky out,
(02:14):
that's not an actionable, playable part of his body. What
the hell are we doing here? So yeah, it got
really creative. And I can say this with Japan there's
gonna be a two minute spurt in every game where
you're in trouble, right, I mean, that's that's what you've
seeing against the big boys, Like first half, they keep
showing the coach. And I like the fact that they
call him a coach because I asked this question and
(02:37):
maybe you can all chime in. That's we'll know. How
about Afresca is a team by team whether you decide
whether the guy's a manager or a coach. Because when
they put up the Japanese manager slash coach and head
coach in the lower third, so we'll call him coach.
I just like that every time they went something in
his notebook while looking over the top of it onto
the field like that zero people to kill, all right,
(03:05):
with Billy Madison across them, But it's like I want
to see his notes that guy, well to you know,
to answer your question, because this is honestly what I
think it is. I would bet you different languages. I
don't know that they don't have the word, but the
word for coaches manager or the word for managers coach
(03:26):
is not not every not every language has has all
the has has the different meanings for so many words.
So sometimes like well, the Japanese word for coaches manager
and that's what they use. Okay, so it's bad. So
I would assume that I feel really smart, like I
just took smart pills trying to try what I think.
You look at different life when you look at the language,
(03:47):
and here you see the way the world was settled
back in the fleet thirteen hundreds. You could see the
languages moving from the western hemisphere into the Eastern hemisphere. Okay,
classes over dismissed. Are you gonna keep tap dancing? I mean,
it's it's plausible, probably not likely, but but I like that. No,
we can we That is that is not only plausible,
but I'm a really good balder dash and beyond balder
(04:09):
dash player. That is not only plausible, it is likely.
In fact, I would bet you that that's the reason.
That's the real reason. Why. Okay, do you want to
run with that? I was just trying to make a bit,
but now you want to get all mr serious. I'm
not I'm trying to make it. I'm being smart I'm
taking it to the next you ask a question. Listen,
we got a bunch of dopes jump us sound we
call it soccer. So I mean where we've taken just
(04:33):
to the base name of the sport. No I didn't,
Yes you did. You said soccer. No I didn't, Yes
you did, you said soccer. So again, right, another day
where you see the results of the World Cup. You
see Germany is out, which just boy, that destroys us
in our in our pool here because we had Germany.
But yeah, yeah, yeah, oh yeah your pool. Uh, he's
(04:53):
a Germany Ane was touching go for a while. I
mean it, why not us? The United States ends team
should be saying this to each other every five minutes
in their hotel, going down from playing Fortnite or doing
and knock at World of Warcraft. Hey, what's up? Hey,
we're gonna play in five minutes? Yeah? Why not us? Right?
Why not us? I'll be right back, and I want
to get the pizza. Okay, thank you? How much of
the pizza fifteen dollars or whatever it is in guitar?
(05:15):
Here you go? Great? Hey? Why not us? Why did us? Great?
Every five minutes? Why not us? This is that kind
of World Cup where the big boys, if they're not eliminated,
all have problems, all had It's like the Western Conference
in the NBA, all of those teams and from top
to bottom. We talked to Rick Puker about it last night.
They're all flawed. They all the Lakers except the Lakers.
(05:36):
The Lakers have gotten a little bit better in the
last month. They they were five hundred in November. Congratulations,
but they're a little bit bad. Everybody in the West
is all flawed. Everybody in the World Cup is flawed.
Why not us? Right? Why not us? That's the message
that should be going from every team, but especially for
the United States. I'm gonna keep saying this until seven
am Saturday morning, until we until they kick off here
(05:58):
on the West Coast. Why not us? Every single time?
Why not us? Why not us? No? I did that philosophy,
and and and and and I hope you're right. Right
through the group play, we watched a lot of chaos
watching Belgium, and we do know why they're showing no
sense of urgency. And then all of a sudden in
the final minutes, hey, let's go, let's try to win
(06:18):
this thing. Like the hell did you do for the
first eight five, like what are we doing here? And
all the big boys, and and questions of how much
you know Belgium in particular, did they read their press
clippings of how they were supposed to be too old
and shouldn't be able to win? So why bother getting
through group? The group phase? So you have that, Uh,
Spain was lethargic. Uh, you have more of the fun
(06:41):
and let's learn more about tiebreakers, which is great, it's good,
good for for everybody. But the goal as we we
head into the next phase, I'm just excited that. You know,
now we we get to the more traditional all right,
lose and go away, uh process of this, which means
my fear for the United States for all your what
(07:02):
about us? You gotta score goals? Man, It's okay. I
can't draw and move, but it's a we haven't lost
a game and we've moved on. That's good and I
can accept that and I can get excited about that
part of it to this point. That's great. Now we
have to score goals. Okay, we don't have to win
six five, you know, we just might just have to win.
(07:25):
You might have to do that. Do you trust they
can do that in penalties. Hey, if it's coming down
to okay, why not us, right wanted us? If it
comes down to us, why not us? Seriously? Why no,
That's what I'm saying because I'll be honest with you,
and this is you're gonna think I'm really loopy, crazy
betting a lot like random No, no, no one one
shots like no, we'll start to well, we'll start tonight
(07:48):
that way, Mars Jones touchdown. Look, I'm not Tisher who
put all my entire nestake money that I made on
crypto on Japan to win the world comes absolutely all
that crypt all thirty five dollars I made on crypto,
let it ride on Japan and it was in by
(08:09):
the way. But let me let me just tell you
this right to be quite honest, And I feel a
little hokey, But look I don't care because that's that's
how I feel. What's right now. Millennials know what hokey means. No, no, no,
they only know it in the context exactly the hokey
pokey and t J that's what it's all about. Uh No, no,
(08:30):
hokey hoax. It's goodhearted, but it's kind of it's a
little bit, you know, altruistic. Here, here's a very difficult
definition that's out there, and let's get awkoushly sentimental. Yeah,
and then you have to look up mawkishly. Yeah. No,
mawkish is a word we should use much more in
every day. Mawkus is a great It's like, oh, it's
very much sentimental in a feeble or sickly way. Yeah. There,
(08:54):
that's about. You can go a round and round like
you're eventually gonna get back to the time as a
flat circle. Oh, we went from hokey on the way
around to mawkish. Okay, that's great. I'm gonna start using
makarity here, but I I gotta say it ahead of
time because you know, I couldn't do it forty years
ago because who saw it coming? But I kind of
have a little bit of a miracle on ice, kind
(09:16):
of can you get that energy back into how michaels
with Gusto. People don't know what offside is. It's irrelevant.
We're here is because look at what's going on for
the United States right for them to win the World Cup,
lots of things have to happen. They have to score goals,
they have to play well with every game they've played better, right,
and they play to the level of competition. They're not
(09:38):
gonna get blown out by anybody there. They play the
best teams in the world and it's a it's a
it's a toss up. It's a toss up with England
and we probably should have won that game. They played
to the level of competition. This team needs it now,
knock out round. You're playing to that level the entire time. Now,
soccer is different than a lot of other sports. You
have to look and say, all right, there's teams up there.
(09:59):
They're just aren't going to lose, right, But there are
teams this year, like I said, all the top teams,
some of them are already eliminated. Many of them already
showed we're not nearly as good as we thought we were.
Whether it was preparation coming in or the bottom pool
of the World Cup has gotten much better over the
past years, whatever it's been. These top teams no longer
(10:22):
have rollover games and seemed insurmountable. They're not. There's no
team that you can play where you go, yeah, we're
not gonna win this game. And when you have that
kind of belief, because it doesn't always happen in soccer.
A lot of things are open for you. We've already
had the magical moment of politics goal and the aftermath
of it and did he get hit in the nuts
or not? What I did not get hit there? No, no, no,
(10:44):
all these different things right, all all that's happened. We've
already had those special kind of moments going on going forward.
I'm telling you, I got a little bit of a
miracle on ice. Feel about this that this could be
a nice, big long run for the United States and
we are all the way through. Right. They loseen Netherlands
six nothing. Boy Netherlands gets out with three goals in
the first minute. Who saw this coming? Certainly not Jason Smith.
(11:07):
Let's take time out from this goal celebration for farmer
John Sausage. It's a nomage to Vince Scully. It's nomage. Well,
we did just commemorate his birthday the other day, right,
so nomage, Yeah, exactly did we We did? We did
time for that. Well, you know, hey, you can't just
take something I'm doing as an homage and say it's
(11:28):
the other way. You can't do that. Well, I mean,
it's it's up to his interpretation how it hits his ears. No, well,
I'm telling you I know how he's supposed to sound.
And then he said, oh my bleeping ears like Todd
and Rod Flanders on the Simpsons. Look, I like the
glass half ful rose colored glasses. Jason Smith, there's no
(11:49):
question about it. You know you had your your visit
to your doctor. You got to eat again, you went
to Hawaii, the world. You've cleansed your soul in your spirit.
I gotta find some mo fence. And I look, I'm
like burying Burr Halter. I I don't in his substitutions.
You're not gonna get him get it all right, You're
(12:11):
not gonna have the great relationship with all players. And
some of it is real summons. Imagine with policic. I
would like for him to lean into the I got
hit in the stones because that's a better, better story
for your country, because people can get behind that. Look
what he gave. He gave everything for us. And now
if you just say, well, no, no, no, he got
me over here in the upper quad uh and my
(12:32):
solar plexus, that's not that's not getting it done. Yeah, no,
it's not nearly as fun. No, it's it's it's it's
really not. You want to rally a country. You say
I got hit. Maybe exaggerated a little bit. Maybe I
mean it is soccer. Maybe you exaggerate the injury a
little bit. For a fact, I'm excited to watch the
next round for for what we've talked about quite a bit,
(12:54):
right with ty Shirt, with justin the chaos that we
saw in the group stage, and to see that that
whether that holds over or whether it's all right. That
was regular season now it's playoffs. Got one more set
of games tomorrow and then we get after at seven
am Pacific, find a watering hole to go hang out
and and be with crazed countrymen yelling about fouls and
(13:18):
off sides and seeing how crazy that gets. But it is.
It's exciting to have a chance, right, you made it
into the dance, and once you're there, who the hell knows? Right?
You saw Japan, they got outplayed out, worked for that
entire first half. I think they had five hundred spin,
had like five passes first half, didn't really rip shots
(13:43):
on net, but hey, passes and a goal within a
couple of minutes of the start of the second half.
Different energy, a couple of substitutions going into that notebook.
Japanese manager slash coach got it done and those subs
flying around in or out doesn't matter. They decided to
count it and you gotta play from there. They had
(14:05):
plenty of opportunities to make it up with the US. Yeah,
you're you're looking for that one one shining moment as
it were, to steal from March madness for a moment.
Just can you make it hold up from there? That's
it's the excitement of this is that we know games
are one in loss on two or three pivotal sequences.

here on a Thursday night. All that more coming up

TI Shirt. Really it's December. Once you admit the the
the Japan ball was still in bounds, then I'll give
it to you. I can't. I can't. I can't admit
a lie. Well it's actually true, so you can say
the truth. No, we have to tell the truth here
on the and I am telling the truth. It was
in You know they're gonna say to you, hey, what
(15:31):
was the biggest sports take you had the entire time
you worked at those two decades you worked at Fox
Sports Radio when you were doing on a Me and Crypto,
and you're gonna say, well, there was a ball in
the world cut the Japan scored, there was out of
bounds that I needed them to score. It was I
could win that pool. You're gonna say, that's gonna be
your take well, I did call that they would upset Germany,
and now I'm standing by it was in So yeah,
(15:53):
all right, maybe you could you try to party this
into being like a World Cup analyst. You and Clint
Dempsey could do shows that if I did, nobody have
a job and soccer then so I can't do that.
We could talk about how complicated other banks make it
to radem credit card rewards, or we could talk about
how with Discover you can redeem rewards for cash and
any amount at anytime. I mean, talk about amazing learn
(16:13):
more discover dot com slash deem rewards terms. They donna
been bleeping out right now, late in the third quarter.
It has really been all Bills since early in this game.
It's one of those games where you go, how are
the Bills not winning by more points? It is seven
teen to seven, Bills facing a second and goal right
(16:37):
now from just inside the Patriots ten yard line, again,
a seventeen seven lead. Josh Allen has a couple of
touchdowns two and thirteen yards through the air, and uh,
it's been one of those games that you go, yeah, boy,
the Bills really they really show you how good they are.
But somehow the Patriots are hanging around. But Mike, this
is why I love this game. On a Thursday night,
you would say, oh wait, these are two of your
(16:57):
biggest rivals playing You're fighting with both these teams with
a playoffs. Jason, what what do you mean you like
this game? I like this game because somebody's gonna lose,
and that's it. I am guaranteed. I well almost unless
it was a tie, which would be even better. But
I am guaranteed to get a loss from one of
these two teams. We're fighting with the playoffs, and that
is just awesome on so many levels. Somebody's gonna walk
(17:17):
out of here a loser, and I'm excited. I'm here
for that. Always the best way to analyze it. Not
two men enter, one man leave. Someone's gonna be a
champion tonight. Know someone is walking out a loser, Someone's
going into the locker room, piste off. I'm digging that.
I'm digging that either way we win because look, if
the Bills lose, okay, the Jets can tie them. Jets
(17:40):
have the tiebreaker, all right. If the Patriots lose, well
it's another game they gain out of the Patriots, and
the Patriots have the tiebreaker with the Jets. So I'm
really I'm okay, I am, I am stressed free tonight
and there's no and none of you guys saying, oh,
but come on, there's gotta be one team you're hoping
wins and one day. No, no, no no, because then I
get into the whole rooting thing and it's not gonna
work out in the team I'm rooting for is gonna
wind up losing, and I'm gonna be pissed. No, no, no,
(18:03):
I really don't care. Somebody's going to lose. And that's
what I like about this. Well, right now, it's not
Belichick and Brady, so you hate them less? Well, no,
they're still in my division. I still don't want them
to no, no, no, But but the point is, since
they're both in the division and you're looking up at Buffalo,
you you hate New England a little less in this scenario.
(18:24):
I don't know. I don't know, man, I don't know.
I kinda I kind of went through like a very
very brief period like maybe you know, I'm I'm a millisecond,
uh you know, thinking, boy, I feel bad the Patriots
have fallen in disrepair. Nope, nope, I'm back out of it. Nope,
I'm back out. I'm ok with it. I'm alright with
it because look, no, no, no, look, I'm a Chicago kid.
(18:45):
If everything burns down in Green Bay and there's a
lot of infighting and it's not just hey, this guy's
on a podcast and people get mad because they want
to interpret things different way because he's being sneaky about it, No, no, no,
I need it all to go to hell on the whole.
They're they're still better than we are. So it's it's tough,
(19:07):
but it's it's it's still I see doing what we
do for a living. I have an appreciation that. Boy,
the Patriots have given us twenty years of conversation with
Brady and belly Chicken winning and all. I appreciate doing that.
I gotta give a nod and say, Okay, you know
what in the sports talk radio Hall of Fame where hey,
where the Hall of famers should be, whoever provides the
(19:28):
most content, The Patriots are up there. Man, You're talking
about two solid decades of material and always being good
and always being in the conversation. The Cowboys don't even
do that, and they're America's team and Jerry Jones every
day tries to find a way to get the Cowboys
in the news. Maybe we'll sign Odell today, maybe Starback
will come back and play. We'll do something today. What
(19:49):
what haven't we done today? What do we got to do?
Can I bench Dak for Cooper Rush? Let me let me,
let me give that about eight seconds worth of airplay
here on one oh five three the Fan or one
oh three five the Fan, whatever it is. I' I
mean all that. No, it's good. I I like the positivity. Look, Joe,
positivity that you are right now. But there's still that
underlying hate because you looked up and you saw those
(20:11):
titles and and you you've been beaten what is it
fourteen on our own now, So the residual hate remains.
But I think either way you get a good story.
You can say, well the Patriots there, they are mediocre,
and it fuels the story we talked about yesterday. Tom Brady,
can he go back? Doesn't make sense? Can they make
(20:31):
this happen? Can they make this reunion work? And and
logistics with Brady and his personal life and everything else,
and does he want to go home again? You know?
But John bon Jovi is a good friend of Robert
Krafts and and Bill Belichick, So you know it doesn't
we We can use the famous John bon Jovi and
Jennifer Nettles song there, but you also have from the Bills.
(20:54):
They lose this game, and right now it doesn't look
like they they're going to but just say they do
from a national sports talk radio perspective based on what
they were supposed to be this year. Suddenly to lose
another game a big turnover strip uh fumble from from
Josh Allen earlier, it becomes a bigger talking point of
(21:17):
they aren't who we thought they were, and we start
getting down that that road of how good is this
Buffalo team? Where are the Flaws? Are they losing their window? Right?
Whenever we start talking about windows and sports, all of
that comes to bear. Uh So either way we get
some great storylines. I root for chaos. Let's go Yeah, no,
(21:38):
I dig you like chaos. I I dig you like chaos.
That's why that controversial Japanese goal is such a big deal.
Yeah yeah, Well, let's say but it sucks for us
because we had Germany in the Fox Sports Radio World
cup pool. And now that you know, now we're we're
not gonna you know what. They let me down. They
let me down. They played some bad soccer, uninspired soccer
(21:59):
between them and Belgium. I don't know who wanted it less.
I always fight about who wants it more. I don't
know who wanted it less. I saw that's exactly what
Thomas Mueller said at the end of the game. If
this is my last game in the World Cup, It's
been a great run, and I'm sorry, my Carmon, I
let you down. I think I actually saw him say that. Well,
I want all the guys from now on. You know,
(22:20):
the former Mexican coach is the guy. He's he's now
the gold standard. I sucked, we couldn't suck. I'm done.
I knew as soon as the final whistle sounded my
contract was terminated. In hell, I'm out of here. I mean,
that's basically what he said. Yeah, that's true. Bear phrase
that a little more creatively and colorfully. But that's that's
(22:43):
what I want, that that level of ownership to your failure.
I want to see quarterbacks do it. I want to
see head coaches do it. That's all on me. Uh
it is the Fox Sports Radio Tailgate presented by the
Big on a Big Green Egg. It's the most versatile
grill you'll ever own, backed by a lifetime warranty roll
with the best shop online, free delivery, Big green egg
(23:05):
dot Com lifetime warranty, free home delivery, Big green egg
dot Com. Uh, the bills are in the end zone.
Make it twenty four to seven now over the Patriots.
Devin Singletary goes in from a couple of yards out.
It's been James Cook doing all the damage that he's got.
It's got over a hundred yards both running and receiving tonight.
(23:25):
So suddenly James Cook bussing his way, James bus, James
bus cooking. How am I trying to get Cookie trying
to get bust cooking because his name is James Cooks.
I'm trying to get bust the butt and the bills
loading up the bus for Cook to drive James tonight.
(23:46):
That's a t James, It's it's how But let me
ask you this. I'm gonna hit you with a big,
hot round question right now. It's for the bills tonight.
Josh Allen's got a couple of touchdowns. Another arge night
for Stefon Diggs. Six catches eighty two yards and a touchdown.
Uh six catches, eight targets. If I said to you
(24:10):
right now this season in the NFL, your team needs
to win a huge playoff game, and you can have
one of these four receivers, who do you take? Because
I'm taking Stefon Diggs. If you told me for a
game I had to win, I had to win that
I could have Tyree Kill, Justin Jefferson, Stefon Diggs, Davante
(24:35):
Adams right the four best wide receivers in the NFL.
Even though Adams a little bit further down the list
this year, not having quite the year that the other
guys having, though he does have ten touchdowns. These are
the four best wide receivers. If I had had one
wide receiver that I needed to win a playoff game on,
I'm taking Stefon Diggs because Diggs, you watch him play
and there and there's routes right now, the entire world
(24:57):
knows the ball is coming to him and he's gonna
get it, and he finds a way to get it
in tight coverage, he finds a way for separation. Whenever
there's a moment that the Bills need a play to
be made. He is there. And this is no slight
on the other guys, because look what Tyree Kill has
done in the Dolphins, explosive and flammable, is tremendous. Justin
Jefferson's gonna wind up with the most catches in the
history of the NFL by the time his career is
(25:19):
said and done. These are all great players. Davanta Addams
is one of the top two wide receivers in the
game the last three or four years. But if you're
telling me one wide receiver I can have for one
game that I gotta win, give me Stefon Diggs, because
I know he's gonna give me an eight catch, hundred
and twenty five yards one or two touchdown stat line,
and he's gonna give me all the catches I need.
If I can have one guy for a playoff game,
(25:41):
giving him all, Right, who's throwing the ball? Mike White,
the best quarterback in the league, trying to figure out
with my catch radio RADII and and all of those calculations. Uh, okay,
make it tough. Zach Wilson's throwing the ball now, but
the ball, Uh it's dig your Jefferson. I probably lean Diggs,
(26:07):
but I've I've always been a Dig's backer all the way,
when when he came into the league, when he was
when he was flying around in Minnesota. You look at
what what ty Reek has done alongside Waddle and and
and to a tongue of vy Low and how accurate
he's been this year. It's been a pretty amazing run.
(26:27):
Davante Adams incredible athlete, but you have a bit of
the the eraser of it all, and now we'll expect
some eraser as we go through. I don't know that
they have a Christmas album though, but we have a
little respect if we play them on the shop. Yeah,
I hit that high note while you're at it. But yeah,
(26:48):
I think I think that's exactly how I'd probably ranked them,
to be honest with you. One one A digs Jefferson
and then Tyreekes right there just to step below, and
then Davante, as great as he is, that connection with Rogers,
I think, and his accuracy was the thing that made
(27:11):
that pop on a whole other level. M I'm telling you, man,
give me stefund every It's like those moments I said
that that I've seen with with Josh Allen, sometimes you
look at him and go. He's the best quarterback I've seen.
There's drives he takes his team on where he just
makes every single play and he's unstoppable. But Dick Diggs
is more of a you know, you just watch him
and you know that somehow he's going to make the play. Somehow,
(27:34):
he's gonna come down with the ball on third and twelve,
sandwich between two defenders on second and fifteen, on fourth
and three, He's always going to come up with that.
It's gonna be throughout the game. I'm telling you, man,
give me Stefon Diggs. And you like Diggs as well,
and I know you like Josh Allen, and I know
you like Zach Wilson, so it all comes full circle.
Wilson makes me, Uh. I know he's still taller than
(27:55):
I am, but he feels smallish him around there, so
I feel little, uh emboldened by it. Be sure to

Com Studios, still a big lead for the Bills midway
through the fourth quarter. More on that coming up in
a few minutes. But after the Lakers played last night,
it happened right after we got off the air. Lebron James,
after a big Lakers win at his postgame press conference,
spent the end of his press conference saying how upset
he is that he wasn't asked and hasn't been asked
his opinion about the Jerry Jones photo from nineteen fifty
(28:43):
seven that has gotten a lot of attention the past
a few days, where it looked like he was one
of the people trying to stop black classmates from desegregating
Central High in Little Rock, Arkansas in ninety seven. Jerry
Jones talked about it, said, oh, I don't know why
I was there, and and that's not what it was.
It was more curious than anything else, and he kind
of blew it off, and Lebron last night said, I
(29:05):
don't know why this has been, uh, something that's been
kind of blowed off by the media, And I don't
know why people haven't asked people ask me about Kyrie Irving.
Why don't people ask me about this now? I can
tell you exactly why it hasn't done. It hasn't been
something that's been talked about a lot. And I'll tell
you what needs to happen next. But first let's hear
(29:25):
from Dak Prescott, a guy who knows Jerry Jones. Let
Dak Prescott was asked a couple hours ago about his
reaction to this photo, because once Lebron says something obviously
becomes a big deal. Here's Dak Prescott from earlier today
on his reaction to seeing Jerry Jones in the photo.
Whether Lebron is talking about the picture, I mean, I
think that's that's on Jerry to address, right, I mean,
(29:45):
in the same sense it's sixty five years ago, and
how times have changed. I mean like the man's resume
since then. Right, And as I said, I give grace
and um, I think that's a conversation and question not
only for him, but uh for you guys, and how
y'all feel, how accountable you'll have been and covering and discussing, um,
the disparages and differences in race. Um. So as I said,
(30:07):
I'm here for growth and given grace and and trying
to make this world a better place and that's who
I am and at my core and all I believe in.
And um, yeah, unfortunate things come up from the past
pictures and they show that, they show how far we've come.
But in the same sense, they're reminder of, um, how
short of a time that wasn't going the same sense, Um,
it wasn't that long ago that that we were all
(30:27):
sitting on different sides, and that we weren't together. But
as I said, I wouldn't be here if it was
still that way. So I believe in grace and change,
and that those are questions for Jerry and and for y'all.
Honestly that I don't have quite the answers for. That
is an unbelievable answer by Dak press and the pantheon
of unbelievable answers to questions. I mean, he hits everything
(30:48):
in that answer, because exactly why why this hasn't been
that big a conversation, because it is a photo from
sixty five years ago, all right, it's America at a
much different time where things weren't but we used on
a lot of work to do now, obviously. But Dak
Prescott talked about there's been a lot of growth in America.
We want to see growth from people, right, that's what
it's about. If this is the times, because this is
(31:10):
what times were like in American fifty seven. I want
to see growth from Jerry Jones, just like what did
I say? I want to see from Kyrie. Want to
see growth from Kyrie ring that he understands. Hey, I
shouldn't have done this. I should have looked what I
was linking a tweet two for this, this video and
this movie that was out there. We want to see growth.
I don't want to see Kyrie. Hey, never have them
play again. I want to see growth. Right, That's what
(31:30):
I want. That's what I want from Jerry Jones right now.
All right, it's not about the photo. This is on him.
This is on him to say, hey, this is not
who I am. Here's my growth. I'm a force for
positive change. This is why I was there, This is
where I am right now, this is what I'm doing
right now, and maybe I start doing a little bit
more to show that this is not who I am.
(31:53):
And if I did have certain beliefs back then of
what was right and was wrong, I've grown about them
over the years. Don't throw it off. That's what That's
what pissed me off about Jerry Jones said, Oh, I
don't remember why I was there. I was, I don't know.
I don'n't. No, dude, you look like you were there
standing in the way so people couldn't go to school.
Give me a better answer than that. Give me something
and show that, hey, I've grown and even if I
(32:13):
whatever thoughts I had back then, I'm a different person.
I'm gonna I'm showing you that I'm a different person
like Kyrie Irving had to go through all of these
steps to be reinstated by the Nets to say this
is this is my growth. I want to see the
same thing from Jerry Jones. Address it. Show me you're growing,
Give me evidence that you're growing and that this is
not who you are. That's what I want from Jerry Jones.
And that's why this picture hasn't gotten as much played
(32:36):
because it is hard to say something, Okay, this was
sixty five years ago. We haven't heard from Jerry Jones.
How do we make this happen now? And America was
different and things have gotten better. Dak Prescott really hit
that on the head with that. But right now, yeah, no,
I need Jerry Jones to stand up and say, hey,
this is what's going on, this is not who I am,
and give me the evidence. He's got to do the
same things that Kyrie Irving has had to do to
(32:57):
get back into the game and go back into play
in the NBA. Do US responses to any type of
media inquiries this week? Go to Tyler Adams, US men's
national team captain the other day being asked a number
of things about America and how people react and deal
with each other on the subject of race, as well
as the pronunciation of the country Iran right, and he
(33:20):
he handled it as well as anybody could have ever hoped.
And then some talking about problems that we have here
and trying to find progress. Likewise, Dak Prescott here, he
can't answer for Jerry Jones. Can only push it back
on Jerry and did to the journalists to say, look
into your own worlds and how you treat things, how
(33:41):
you cover things, and that's part of the growth process,
right of asking the questions, having that dialogue. As we
pushed forward with Jerry Jones, he was what fourteen at
the time, right, fourteen? How many fourteen year olds do
you know that parrot whatever their parents say oh yeah, right,
like I'm not and I'm not and like diminishing it.
(34:01):
I'm not pushing it away. How many times at the
school yard did you have a couple of people maybe
getting into a bit of it. In this case, it's
a big deal and you want to see how it's
going to happen, and you're you're you're in a picture
that could be as a simple an explanation as it is.
But we need more than that, right, And that's I
think where everybody's coming back with Jerry Jones of all right,
(34:23):
little more? Was it just the curious bystander and if
he's got to go through receipts, resumes and and everything
that he's done as a businessman and as an NFL
plate cade people, guess what, that's probably not gonna happen, right,
That's just not the world we're living in there either. Uh.
I would just use the words of Dak Prescott to
(34:43):
just say, hey, we're growing, that's not that far in
the past and remembering to learn from it and push forward.
Twitter at how about a fresco Mike gets swollen down

That's what I need to see out of Jerry Jones Uh.
