Speaker 1 (00:00):
Go behind the wheel and under the hood on everything
automotive with high Speed stuff from how stuff works dot com. Everybody,
welcome to high Speed Stuff. I'm Scott Benjamin, the auto
editor here at how stuff works dot com. My name
is Ben Bowling. I hang out with Scott and I
write some videos for our website Fantastic. I just made
(00:23):
the first paper shuffling noise. I'm gonna make several because um,
I've got kind of a mixed up lift here, but um,
it's worth it. Well. Our our producer today, Matt seems
seems that he it seems that he's okay with that
paper shuffling. If you can't get away with that one,
let's shuffle some papers and make some podcast history. Sounds good.
And you know what, We've got a listener suggestion today
(00:46):
for our podcast. And I think you know this is
one that came in from a listener that we've We've
had a lot of back and forth with this person,
um over the last year and a half or so.
And um, his name is William, and William is from
New Zealand. And he didn't give us his age this time,
but last time he did he said that he was
eleven last time. So I'm gonna say he's eleven or twelve.
(01:07):
So William, Um, he wanted to know if we could
do a podcast about well, he said, actually the cars
that we drive, and then our top ten dream cars.
And this one was too good to pass up because
as simple as this sounds, top ten dream cars, I
think that's interesting. I mean, that's that's a quick one
for us to do, and uh, kind of get some
(01:28):
stuff off our chest. You know't eve been thinking about.
And we're people like anyone else. We love talking about
our opinions. So all right, you want to kick it off,
you want me to, Um, well, I can do that
and we can count them down. I guess. Well, you
know what, should we mentioned our own cars? We already did.
We most people know about our cars, okay, very well. Um,
I drive a Monte Carlo and I do my best
(01:50):
with it. Um, I've got a couple of things I
need to fix on it. It is a land yacht.
It's it's it's about you should see me parallel parking,
which I can do. Fantastic. That's the second time I've
used the word fantastic. Well, the thing is, I know
it sounds like I can't drive when I say that,
but for people who have not been to downtown Atlanta,
that's kind of tough. Hard enough to drive. My car.
(02:11):
I've got a little Honda Civic hatchback. It's a Civic
s I and uh, I love it. It's got a
lot of a lot of necessary repairs coming up, but
it's fun stuff too. I can upgrade as I go,
so I'm I'm kind of looking forward to some of
the some of the upgrades that might be happening this summer.
It's got a pretty good pick up too. Yeah, it's
a lot of fun to drive. So it's a sporty
(02:33):
ride and I enjoy it. So those are what we have, William,
That's what we drive there. I think most everybody probably
already knew that. At this art we've we've we've mentioned
several times. Now. I've got a list here of my
top ten cars, right, and Ben also has a list
of his top ten. We'll go through them in true
top ten fashion, where it's ten to one. I have
to tell you way ahead of time here that I
(02:54):
struggled with this m After I built my list, you know,
I picked out that I liked a lot, and then
I've been shuffling these all day, so my notes are
a little bit scattered in that I've got them spread,
you know. I had it stapled together, and I've got
them one to ten, but then I changed the order
I two or three times. I feel you on this one, man.
I went through the same stuff, and I actually some
(03:14):
of mine are not as specific as they were originally.
I want to say that my number one pick is
truly my number one pick though in this I I
really do think that this is the car that I
want the most. Um my number number ten, you know,
number two through ten. It seems like I could juggle
these in any order and it wouldn't matter to me. Right,
(03:36):
the number one is the one that I really want.
So when you get to that, um and it may
may be something that you might not expect either, So
peak your interest with that and saying that probably wouldn't
expect this out of me. Awesome, I don't think so anyways. Awesome, Okay,
we will find out, all right, So top ten list?
You ready, I'll go. I'll go first, Top ten? Number eleven? Wait?
(03:58):
What really? I couldn't arrage? Okay, no, no, no, that's fine.
Number eleven. I told you. I added in eleventh at
the end. That's how. That's how. Okay, I'll go with
number eleven. Yeah, go in number eleven. This honorary mentioned
this is asking a lot for you from you to
narrow down to ten. I know that, Yeah, I know
it is. That's good. I would say that I would
(04:20):
like a late sixties to early nineteen seventies portion nine seventeen. Yeah,
a race car. A race car. Now, now there were
um street versions of this were built, um, but then
in nineteen seven, I'm talking about a race car on
a race car, because in nineteen seventy three, towards the
end of production here for the nine seventeen, they had it.
(04:41):
They had something called the ninth seventeen thirty and it
looks dramatically different than the than the early nine seventeens,
and I love that designed also, but um, for the
pure power of the nineteen seventy three version, you gotta
go with this one. It had a five point four
leader turbo charged engine that had at mild boost had
eleven horse power, and then when it when it went
(05:01):
up like that mild boost, then it went up to
full boost. It had fifteen hundred and sixty horsepower. And
this is a I mean, unbelievable race car. This is
back in like the Mark Donohue days of racing porshow Um.
Then an original version of this is somewhere around that
here was a problem with this. An original version is
somewhere around about two and a half million dollars. But
(05:22):
these are dreams. Men, don't don't worry about the press,
all right, all right, but that's my number eleven pick
on the top ten? Why are you good? Number ten? Two?
Just to make our numbers. I knew I was going
to screw that up, you know what. That's the first
one that I had changed here, So I gotta find
my number ten in my list here? You want to
go to it? Yeah, I'll go. This is a little
bit of a weird pick. Um. I'm a huge classic
car fan, um, and I would my number ten vote
(05:45):
is for one of the more rare and hard to find, uh,
the Tuckers Sedan. Oh that's a good pick, thanks man, Yeah,
very good. Yeah, it's just growing up, I heard um
like my my dad would talk about it, and uh
so that's part of a sort of an ongoing conversation.
(06:07):
And I'd really like to just have one. Um as
if I had that, I think that I'm not a
materialistic person. I'm pretty sure I could die happy, well,
like later that afternoon. I'd want to drive it at
least once. Of course, yeah, of course, but yeah, that's
a that's an excellent pick. I love good pick. Not
(06:27):
on my list, not on your list, not on my list.
It should have been. Maybe there's number. It was number twelve.
I found my number ten? What is it? Number ten
would be a lotus at least siege version, the two
horsepower one point eight leader around two thousand pounds sports car.
I think this may be a daily driver type vehicle,
though I would love that as a daily driver. I
(06:48):
know it's a little rough, little brutal on you because,
um it's it's really a track car, bare minimum type car.
But that's what I love about it, that it's a
it's just you know, down to business. I like it
a lot. I love the look of it. I love
the simpleness of it. And it also goes here to
sixteen about four seconds, and that helps. And relatively and
(07:08):
I don't take this, you know, meaning that I can
go out and right a check for this or anything,
but relatively conceivable that you could afford one of these okay,
sixty six dollars. Okay, so with some planning, yeah yeah,
with planning and and yeah, some time and you know,
bringing some sandwiches in exactly exactly, Yeah, I mean a
lot of saving and a big car payment. I could
(07:30):
have a load of siege as your daily driver. As
a daily driver, yeah, that would be cool. Are we moving?
Moving up on this, I'm actually gonna switch some of mine. Um,
and I'm going to say number nine Bluebird school bus,
but not any not just listen, listen, Yeah you don't
(07:50):
hear me out, okay, Um. When I was living in
Central America, they have these things chicken busses and there
totally they're heavily modified school buses and they're really cool
and I would like one of those. If you're talking
about the old silver the silver busses, are you talking
about a big yellow school bus. They're not yellow anymore, man,
(08:12):
they're painted. But yeah, okay, yeah, Bluebird is that Canadian
company that makes all of those buses. Because I have
seen some cool Bluebird busses, and I admit I like
the old bus designs. I might you know, what if
I could go well we're dreaming, right, Yeah, I would
go for one of the Bluebird charter buses. Yeah, I agree.
Another good pick. Man. Oh thanks man, thanks man. I'm
just lucky that I didn't put the least down too.
(08:33):
I was so close. That's okay, if we can have
the same in the list. Uh, number nine, I've got
the I'm gonna probably script the name, okay. And it's
not the kna seg okay, I thought it was. It's
not that one. It's number nine is a here I go,
So I'll get letters Pagani Zonda. I read about that.
(08:54):
I think I got about the six d and sixty
seven thousand dollars, you know, give or take um just
simply because it looks like it just it's floaded with
gadgets and and angles and grills and the the exhaust
is the coolest thing you've ever seen. It's it's been
a big circle in the back with four pipes coming out. Um.
(09:14):
Just a fantastic looking car. And that's the only reason
I picked this one. I know nothing about the stats
on it right now. I just think that that is
a cool looking car. And I you know, as far
as exotics go, i'd love to it's amazing. Did you
see the pictures inside with the uh the driver's seat,
the way it's set up. No, man, pretty good stuff.
It's awesome. Yeah. I know. Some of these have you know,
(09:36):
embroidered seats and everything, and they're beautiful, beautiful cars. You
are you ready for the number eight? Yeah? Okay, uh up,
but now I'm moving them all around my head. Okay,
I'm gonna say it. Tesla Roadster. Very good. They got me,
got me. It's an electric car. It is an electric car.
And I didn't choose it just because it's electric. Um.
(09:58):
I chose it for I mean, if we're dreaming, right,
William asked us to our dream cars. I do like
the fact that it's electric, but I also like just
um the design of it from too. It looks a
lot like the Lotus A lease, it's a lot like it.
It's get out of my head, very close. Yeah, it
is very clear. Yeah, that's a cool car. It's another
good pick. What about you, man? Yeah? That good? Well,
(10:21):
you know I do work on a car show. I know.
I don't know why I'm so sy I shouldn't be surprised.
I guess you know your stuff. All of my other
ones are hot to civics. Alright, my number eight. Yes,
the two thousand ten Chevy Corvette zero one. Really yeah,
zero one. That's an awesome looking car. I've seen exactly
one on the road. I've seen one, and that's it.
(10:43):
Here it is. It's black, black windows, black wheels, low, low,
wide car. It sounds like a pure race car. It
crackles and pops and and the brakes squeal because they're
the carbon ceramic brakes. And this car is unreal. It
just it's beautiful. I mean, I don't know if it's
the color combination and the dark windows and the dark
(11:03):
wheels and everything, but this looks like Darth Vader's car.
It's really really cool, and I don't know, my mouth
waters every time I see this thing. I really want it.
But the problem is they start around a hundred and
ten thousand UM. So that's a pricey Corvette, I guess.
I mean corvettes are up there, but but that's that's
it's kind of breaking the one marks. Come on, that's
(11:26):
pretty expensive. But you do get UM sixty horse power
and UM two D five top speed, so there you go.
Not that you're ever going to be able to use
that but well, I mean until you get caught, you
can use it all the time. Fantastic looking car. We're
not condoning speeding. I'm sorry, I forgot I got ahead
of myself. Um, all right, so next up for me,
(11:48):
I've got let's see, that would be number seven. Okay, Um,
this is a little vague. And I went back and
forth on this an Aston Martin, Um, any of the
James Spot movies. Oh, this is big because it goes
all the way up to present day. Yes, right, And
I what, dude, I watched in preparation for this last night.
(12:11):
I watched some clips and I couldn't pick. So I'll
be happy with any of you know what. I also
like Aston Martin. I agree any any year, Aston Martin
is fine with me. Where you're talking about the classic
version that you know is way way back. Where you're
talking about the current Aston Martin, I'm talking from the
one from the I'm talking from um, from about Casino Royal,
(12:34):
all the way back. Um, but you nailed it. My
My two, my two top contenders are are the very
early early ones, the silver one that he drove in
just about every other film. Right, Yeah, very nice, very nice,
very nice. My number seven pick yes nineteen seven and
nineteen thirty one. Ford Model A pickup truck. Really good
(12:56):
call I have. I have always wanted a Model A
pickup truck. And I don't want it as in like
a mint condition museum car. I want something that I
can drive that I could actually throw, uh some pine
straw on the back if I wanted to, and use
it to more work in my yard or go to
the you know, the home depot and pick up you know,
a lawnmower whatever I need to. Um, I'm sorry I
(13:18):
get interrupted because other people don't know it because it's
an audio podcast. You guys, Scott has this really weird
habit of carrying pine straw around. So that was that
probably Like what did I say? What did I say? No? No,
I don't Usually I just put it in a backpack
or something. But um, I'd like to have a pickup
truck to haul it around, and I think Model A
for you know, Ford Model A pickup truck would be
(13:39):
a way to do. Oh yeah, I got pictures with
them because I wanted to be inspired if I speak,
and you know what these are in color? I just
couldn't get the darned printer to work. That's still I
am with you on that. And I'm talking like, um
ballpark for this one. And see, this is very doable here.
It's you know, it's not a daily driver of course,
just because of the vintage vehicle and the speeds and everything.
(14:01):
Around ten thousand dollars or less. Even it's something you
could because of the condition that I'm talking about, you know,
because well there's an awful lot of them. Yeah, if
you could maybe not necessarily the pickup truck, but the
Model A, there's a lot of them. Um, pickup trucks
are a little bit more rare. But um, again about
ten thousand dollars, why not you know, if you're if
you're gonna have a toy like that, yeah, I want
(14:22):
it to be usable. That's something that's as functional. So um,
I think it'd be pretty cool to have something like
that that you just used as a work truck. And
it really would be a cool Sunday driver too, it would, Yeah,
it really would, all right Number six for me, um
m hmm. You can laugh if you want. We've talked
about this before. I probably will. I would like a
(14:46):
Class C recreational vehicle, classy Class C letters, Class classy. Yeah,
I just want to classy. I really, I honestly thought
you said a classy. You know, there are several classes
of r vs, and this is one that I think
I could comfortably live in. And all I would do
is drive around North and South America, just back and forth. Um,
(15:10):
I'm pretty much any route that we could imagine and
uh live out of it, you know, in this in
this dream RV thing. Um, it's not my it is
my daily driver, but it's because it's also my house.
Park next to your bus, next to what next to
your bus? Your bluebird bus? Oh? Um, you know, I
think I might have to I think I might have
(15:31):
to either start a caravan or a convoy or I'll
have to Um, I might have to give up the
bus man because the RV is higher on the list.
Quickly refresh my memories. The class C is at the huge,
huge one. That's the one that's not quite a retrofitted
charter busy. So you step down where the where you
see the um where you see that one part going
(15:54):
over the cab where they you might have a bed
or storage or something. It's like that where the kids
are up there with their faces poked out the front
and watch. I have not planned on children in this scenario.
I see, what is your dad? Dude? He drives around
in RV, that's his job. What's going on with you?
Number six again shifted on my list because I didn't
(16:16):
know where to put this, But um, I feel like
it maybe should go higher. But what uh a late
nineteen sixties for GT forty oh and there were some
street cars that were made because so they could race. Um,
I'd also go for a current for GT. You know,
but as long as it was painted in those golf colors,
(16:36):
the blue and orange, which that will probably prompt people
to say they either love this idea or hate it,
because that seems to be a dividing factor. I guess
in a lot of people, you know, a lot of
people's minds when you know, they see that orange and blue,
because they say, would you really pick that color if
it wasn't made popular by you know, the races of
the day, if there wasn't you know, yeah, the history
(16:57):
that goes along with it. Would you really pick a
light blue car with orange trim? Probably not, so it's
got race history. I think the versions that I've seen
the golf vehicles that I've seen looked really cool and um,
of course I love the original, but the four g
T is also cool. Number six, number six, that was
number six. Yeah, and now we're on number five, which
(17:20):
my number five is a nineteen thirty four convertible Packard. Yeah, okay, yeah,
they're good. I was talking about a big car, then
huge car ridiculously Yeah. Why why the fascination with Packard? Uh?
(17:41):
You know, for a long time historically or not a
long time, but for a number of years, Packard was
synonymous with high end, uh pretty high quality vehicles. And
we're talking about a very strange time in American history.
You know, um where hat where we was at the
(18:01):
Gilded Age, I guess, and then during the Depression, Um,
Packard still was manufacturing these things. And I don't know why, man,
I guess they always just caught my attention. I love
I love the look of it, but I also love them.
I don't know, it's been it goes years back. And
(18:22):
have a big gangster looking car with the site running
sideboards and you know all that. Yeah it's got the sideboards. Yeah,
you have big interior, huge cabin interior almost bench seats
like uh, like you said it on a couch. Kind
of no place to park it, that's for sure, exactly. Yeah,
but it's a I agree packards a cool car, all right.
My number five the Porsche Carrera G T, which is
(18:47):
again extremely high end porta. But I do love the
way this car looks, and it has just enough you know,
I'm a nine eleven fan, huge nine eleven fan. It's
got just enough nine eleven in it. It's like I
got a longer back end. I mean, everybody pretty much
knows what these look like right now. But it's six
hundred horsepower. The problem is it's around four dollars very
(19:09):
expensive car, but um I think it's uh, I don't know,
good looking for you know what meant? I will see
you number five and raise you to my number four,
which is in a completely different direction. You're ready, yeah,
I'm ready? Uh an ambulance an ambulance really? Yes? Okay,
now you're talking about a current ambulance, the big square
(19:30):
box type ambulance are talking about. I am talking about
the big square box Yeah. And here's why I know.
I know they're ugly. I know, no matter what people
tell you a lot of times in terms of handling.
I mean there's a service vehicles. These are not performance vehicles.
But I really do love the idea of being able
to help people. And you know, I'm qualified for a
(19:51):
couple of other things. I'm not. You. Look at this
guy laughing at I'm laughing because I can imagine you're
driving around helping people on your own, just kind of
a good samaritan in an ambulance. I would try, Yeah, try,
I mean, okay, yes, fine, you got me. Of course
I would use the sirens to get through red lights.
But if someone was hurt, I would stop. I would
help them stop, really would I bet you would. So
(20:12):
that's that's my most idea. I thought you were going
to take this the angle of the you like the
Ghostbusters vehicle that was kind of the um the service vehicle,
you know, the ambulance, the ambulance first combination thing. God
I should have done, which is kind of cool. Can
I change my answer? No? All right now, too late?
But you know what, I like your version as well,
because utility. Well, okay, what what's what's up with you?
(20:32):
What's going on? My number four was originally number nine.
I told you I mixed these around. My number four
came way up Morgan Supersports, which is a three wheel car,
and it's the one with the exposed engine in the front.
That's a really interesting choice. Man, the V twin engine
in the front. I love these three wheel cars, I
really do. I like. I like the microcars, like the
many cars, the bubble cars, the Morgan Supersports car, the
(20:56):
open cockpit three wheeler. Again, engine exposed in the front,
right between the two wheels. It had the tadpole configuration.
I think that car is beautiful. I there's nothing about
it I don't like. I mean, I hear. They're a
handful to drive. I've never tried to drive one, but um,
I'd really like to give it a shot. Number nine
to number four. Number four, Yeah, I moved it up
because it's significant enough that I would like to get
(21:18):
something like this or maybe even you know, in a
lot of cases, I would even I'd settle for a
replica of this car, because I just think i'd like
the style of it. It doesn't have to be the
original it would I prefer it, but a replica would
do fine. Alright, I'm gonna do number three. Uh, number
three for a long time, one of my all time
(21:39):
favorite cars. Nineteen fifty six Chevy bel Air preferably read
very good choice. Yeah, you know what I wanted forever,
I wanted a fifty seven and um, you know high
school type dream. Oh yeah, that I wanted to have
that car. And then I don't know, somewhere along in
the way, I just kind of gave that one up,
and I think that's when I shifted over to wanting
(21:59):
the model. And I've just had that stuck in my
head ever since. It's just the bell There is such
especially the specifically those years, specifically the fifty six. You like, Um,
I there's a fifty seven. They are all kind of cool.
They have a little different look to the each one, right,
dramatic fins. The fifty six is one that actually is
(22:21):
the model that all this stuff goes back through my family. Um,
this guy in my grandfather's town had one of those,
and very small town, so we're all very aware of
who has what what happens. And I remember just seeing
that card tool by Man, very good childhood memory. Yeah, absolutely,
And they're beautiful inside. So the interiors of the bells,
(22:45):
oh yeah, plush, all right, my number three, the middle three,
number three, and I went for the top end here
all right, Probably not the one you think, not the
Bugatti is No. I went for the speed. I went
for or the sec Ultimate Arrow T T, which is
the fastest car you can buy, exactly the fastest car
(23:06):
um six thou dollars two d fifty seven miles per
hour um zero to sixty two point seven seconds. But
the problem is there only gonna be about twenty five
of these produced, all that in the you know six dollars.
That's another stumbling black oh whatever, but details. Anyways, the
Ultimate Arrow t T I thought, you know, the world's
fastest car officially at this point, So that's number three
(23:30):
on the list. Yeah, you've got my interest. Now I'm
wondering about these. Okay, all right, well I'll go with
this one. And I saved this choice, um m hm.
And honestly, this is my dream so you can get
mad at if you want. But my number two dream
car is the Terrafugia. But it flies I'd be the
only one. I'm a second away from standing up and
(23:52):
walking out. Okay, well, hold on a second, because we're
just dreaming here. I know we're dreaming. Yeah, and you
know there's a there's a million, not a million, but
there are dozens of reasons that I could never own one,
the first one being that there's not one I could
buy there and they probably never will be Okay, So
rest easy, Okay. I wish there was a video on
(24:14):
us right now because I'm shaking my head, rubbing my forehead.
I just can't believe your number two picks. That's okay,
I know, I know you're feeling on on flying cars
and you know mine. Well, they're not on your list.
They're not on your list. No, that's fine, that's fine.
We can we can fight later again. A number two
and this one I shifted from number one is the
(24:35):
one that I switched my number one and number two
picks last minute. Um, I've always had a love for
this car. It's the I don't think there's any more
dramatic car on the road probably ever. Um the Lamborghini
Countas twenty fifth anniversary. Oh can you see the picture?
It's the one on top there. Um, there's still around
(24:57):
a hundred and ten thousand dollars. I don't remember what
they sold for originally, maybe two thousand something like that.
If you've ever seen one of these on the road,
an authentic Lamborghini Kuntash, especially this version the anniversary. I
don't think there's a more dramatic car on the road.
I really don't. I mean it it made such a
statement then and even now, like I've I've seen them
(25:18):
at car shows. There's one in Roswell, Georgia. I've seen
it there. I don't it's somewhere near there. It's it
shows up to local events, you know, parking lot type events.
And I've followed on the road, not that you know,
in a creepy way. I mean I followed it, you know,
just because hey, I want to see where, you know,
watch it drive a little bit. Um, And it's it's
definitely in an awesome car. I mean it still is
(25:38):
even all these years later. It really set um. I
think it's set a standard that a lot of car
manufacturers tried to emulate. Yeah, this is this is twenty
one years later, we're talking about this, and I think
this car is still beautiful. I mean it's it's definitely
in ways it's it's dated, of course, um, but you
know they've updated their own design. You know, they've moved on.
(26:00):
You know, be honest, they don't even make it anymore.
But um, like I said, I don't think any car
makes more of a more of its presence known in
this vehicle. All right, amigo, I'm gonna ask you for
a big favor of my number one unless unless you
cheat didn't read my stuff. My number one, I didn't
read it, confident is gonna blew your mind. I think
you're not gonna expect it. And you said the same thing.
So which of us should go with our number one? Why?
(26:23):
I've already we've I've already said this one. What do
you mean you you didn't tell me. I don't know
what your number Oh yeah, you don't know what my
number one is? Okay, I thought I thought maybe it
was a duplicate pick. I know I'd like to close
with mine, but if you if you want to close
with your no, no, I'll wing my number one here
and then you can close with yours. Okay, all right,
so my number one pick, and again this is number two.
I just shifted it up a Lotus eleven. Have you
(26:46):
ever seen a Lotus eleven? Awesome car? I mean to
take a look at online for a Lotus eleven that
is a beautiful car. I love these cars that they're
either a an original or Westfield eleven replica would be
fine with me. Um anything. Yeah, I mean they're they're
beautiful cars. They're you know, open cockpit, curved windshield, long,
(27:07):
long front end. But it's really really just a beautiful, smooth,
sleek car. UM and has the headrest in the back
that has kind of the aerodynamics for the for the
helmet if you're racing helmet, because it's it's really a
race car. There are street versions of this, of course,
you can buy um. Like I mentioned the Westfield eleven replica. UM.
(27:27):
I think an original right now is about a hundred
thousand dollars because they all have race history to them,
and about thirty thousand dollars is best. Guests on it
a replica right now because all the numbers are in pounds,
and I did the conversion today and I think it's
about thirty thousand dollars U S dollars UM, so sort
of reasonable, sort of not you know, it's it's an
(27:49):
expensive toy. UM again not a daily driver because you
can't drive in the rain and snow, looks like over
a speed bump anything like that. But um, it's a
great looking car. So load of eleven that's my number.
One pick. That's not awesome pick. Man, it's unusual. I
didn't think anybody would expect that. I think for like that. No,
(28:09):
I knew you were going to surprise me. But that's
absolutely not have extremely eclectic car interests. I mean, yeah,
I love everything, so um, I don't know. I thought
Lottus eleven is a perfect pick for me. I've long
time lusted after those cars, and you're not looking back.
I'm gonna close out on something I think would be
a little unexpected, Scott. My number one dream car, I'm
(28:32):
very fortunate to say, is actually the two thousand and
six Monty Carlo that I have right now. Come on,
that's your dream car'll hear me out because I've spent
a lot you know, I've worked on it myself. I've
spent a lot of time on it. And look at it.
I didn't cheat. Now you didn't cheat, and it really
is it means. It means a lot to me, um,
(28:53):
because I you know, I talked about all the time
like it's my dog or my do I know, I
know you love that car. Yeah, and so what can
I say? Man, been been with me through a lot
of stuff. Put it's you know, there's a lot of
pollen here. I need to wash it. It's in a
sorry state, it's got a cracked wind shield. Whatever, it's
(29:15):
a nice car. That's your number one pick. I like
it better than the Flying Car, like better in the
RV anything else? Very good? All right, Well that makes
sense then, makes I think that's the one you're with. Yeah,
we should we should fade out on that, William. Yeah, well, William,
we uh, I hope that we took a that we
(29:35):
satisfied your your question there with our dream cars, which
we had a lot of a lot of different reasons for.
When you say, yeah, I think so. Um, A lot
of people talk about these kind of cars, and you know,
like that, you know, someday I want to own this.
Someday we're on that, and then it's nice to just
kind of just have I guess a car fantasy and
decide what you want, you know, even if it's unattainable
at this point, it's nice to talk about it and
just kind of look into it and look at the
(29:57):
photographs and dream a little bit. It's fun. We'll ut.
Why don't we ask uh, you know, ask our listeners,
you guys, if you think we're crazy. That's fine because
we're you know, we're talking about our dream cars. But
if you have one that you think is just super
awesome and how could how could we not dream about that?
You are and we'll get those notes, I'm sure, just
(30:18):
like we do with the the you know, the movie cars,
television cars. How could you not talk about this one?
I can't believe you forgot that right? Um, send him in.
I don't know if we'll be able to respond to
every single one of your your responses, but I mean,
I love looking at the cars of people, if the
people are interested in and we we love to hear
from you exactly, no matter what that is. Just send
it in. If you've got an idea of photograph or
(30:38):
something that you want to send into us, that's fine.
We'd like to see them. And I was we're always
interested in kind of what you're what you're thinking out there,
and as always, guys, before we let you go. Our
