Speaker 1 (00:02):
Pretty title we get Don't trend on Me? Oh wow
you hello the Internet, and welcome to this episode of

(00:22):
Don't trend on Me. Man. Yeah, I'm Jack o'brienda miles great.
That is it is? It is? I hi, Hi? What
the what a day? Is trending so many things? Let's
just start with the Meek Mill thing, actually, because what
a there's a mess happening at the moment between him

(00:43):
and Nicki Minaj. There are all kinds of accusations going
flying that from Meek Mill beats his sister and mother
to Nicki Minaj knowing that her brother was molesting and
assaulting children. It I don't I think most people are
like looking at this with their jaws on the floor.

(01:03):
I mean, they've had beef, you know what I mean.
But didn't they used to be an item? Yes, yes,
I guess it all started because Meek Mill liked a
meme that was making fun of her husband, Kenneth Petty.
And now Nikki came back with literally like on her
stories and says, you a clown. You do it for

(01:24):
likes Twitter fingers beat women scared of men, and then
then her next like one of the the next posts
is like clearly Meek, but has like the clown emoji
over his face and then went on Twitter saying that
she beat that he was beating his sister, spit on her,
taped it, kicked her out in front of his mom
and all this other ship sent her to the hospital.

(01:45):
And he says, sucking Drake's dick made you feel tough again.
Move on this. So that all happened first, like Meek
hadn't fired back or anything. I think he fired in
back like after maybe ten minutes after the first tweet
or something, because I think people are like, um, maybe
you shoul look at this. Uh. And then he came

(02:06):
back with his own ships saying, you know, talking about
how he said, your brother's convicted of rape and you've
been new and pay for his lawyer. Your little brother
touched that little girl too. You know, I know you
want me to crash with your boyfriend and I won't,
and then saying like people, then he was going on, no,
everybody in the industry knows you're a bad person. It's hey, look,
this is what I guess people are living for on

(02:27):
Twitter right now. But all the allegations, uh, like in
terms of like him hitting his sister I think they're
not really proven, and even they don't know if, like
NICKI actually paid for her brother's lawyer. So look, uh,
it's it's it's it's perfect fodder for the Twitter sphere
when two celebrities and X and x is go for

(02:47):
each other's throats. M hmm, yeah, sorry, I'm just looking.
It looks like Pete Buddha does just past Sanders for
popular vote. Oh in Iowa. Yeah, whoa look at that? Yeah,
uh uh, so that's something that's happening right in this moment.
But right in this moment, it looks like Pete past

(03:07):
Bernie for popular vote. So how much of the vote
is it now? I don't know, So shout out to
Pete the one state that he uh put all his
eggs in the basket of He is pulling it off.
It's working. It's working a lot of people when they

(03:28):
always ask you, like, how much did you spend here? Yeah,
and he's always like, come on, we didn't have any
money a year ago. So I mean that's true. Yeah,
until the billionaire donations came in, right, you know, you
can't take that from them. That's wild though, because once
again Poles just getting everything completely wrong. He was third

(03:49):
behind Sanders and Biden pretty distantly, and Biden is in
distant fourth, and he's gonna win. Well, now they have
to real, real mind, because they're like, oh, our establishment
pick just crashing him. But well, I don't know. Again,
it's it's just so hard to This is the first one.
So let's uh, let's see a couple of more come
in and then we'll start start firing up the take machine. Uh,

(04:12):
Romney is trending. What would he do? He became the
first senator in the history of the United States to
vote to convict a president from his own party. What
is it? Do you think it's because Trump is clearly guilty?
And it's mind boggling that the rest of the party

(04:34):
didn't vote to convict him. I'm even confused, But what
do you mean? I'm in such a I don't know
what's real anymore. I misheard you. Pardon? Do you think
that it's Do you think he voted because Trump is
clearly guilty? Yes? Okay, yeah, I was so confused at first.

(04:54):
I'm like, what do you mean? I don't know. I
mean I think they know, but acting like it, it's
very clear that it is. And yeah, I mean, it
just seems like real bare minimum ship to me. Absolutely,
he did the bare minimum. But you know what, because
we love, we love, we love to make a hero
out of somebody who most people, most of the time,

(05:16):
people were like, no, this guy in it. I mean
I do want to shot him out right, I mean
being in among like that party, that group of senators. Yes,
but I just feel like, again, we're also acknowledging that
this was the bare minimum. Yes, yes, absolutely, I mean
even voting for this, like the Witnesses, I was almost
saying that was the bare minimum. But if you're just

(05:37):
doing that as a ceremonial thing to give yourself cover,
then it doesn't mean shit. But with this, the pundits
on the right are like losing their ship. Yeah, there's
like going on um and but the gavel just fell
and everyone's like acquitted, not guilty. Like they're treating it

(06:02):
like it's big news. It's like president is cleared. We
don't know how this is gonna go, right, what the
fund is happening? Talking about um the bare minimum again,
the bare minimum? But hey, you know it is it
was I'm not gonna lie, a little invigorating to see
somebody just go out there and do and break with

(06:22):
his party like that. I'm sure it won't play well
in the immediate to The GOP Twitter account is already
like running ship like oh well, you know, Trump's even
more popular in Romney and Utah. So it's like, okay,
you're already putting your crosshairs on your own people, but hey,
this is this is not the Republican partner anymore. Is
just the Trump cult not guilty, you know, like in

(06:44):
the psychology of like like butchers are not butchers, like
bullies and ship by people. The person to first stand
up to the bully, that usually will either that person
needs to get crushed and then you'll be like, all right,
fun with that dude, or they try and funk with
the person stands up, they survive, and then that gives
other people belief to be like, you know what, maybe
I can fucking withstand this bullshit. But either way, I mean,

(07:08):
he I'm sure Mitt Romney is going to be the
focal point of a lot of rage in the coming days. Man,
they really are treating this like it is news that
he got it acquitted, like real, like an actual verdict
hand down in a case quits Trump of abusive power,
like the largest font I've ever seen on the front

(07:29):
of seeing that, well, you know why they can't actually
acknowledge that they didn't care what was said, So I
guess you have to treat it as if it wasn't
a sham. But we knew this from the start. Sure,
New York Times is doing the same thing. Trump acquitted
of abusive power top Yeah. Yeah, So it's all just
mainstream media being like this is technically news that we

(07:52):
have to treat like it is historic, even though rather
than like predictably, Republicans shame themselves and the Senate Chamber
with sham trial because afraid of bully right. Uh, Trayvon
Martin is trending because he would have been today. Yeah. Oh,

(08:13):
that's a wild thought to have. And also to think
we're still, even with all this time passing and all
the other shootings that have happened, still really not much
closer to rectifying this problem fitbly Yeah damn. Yeah, what's
that piece of ship? George has ever been up to

(08:34):
getting like re arrested constantly for like doing all kinds
of wild ship. You know, he's a violent murderer. Huh.
Let's talk about Robert Pattinson. We were pissed, are we. Yeah?
We were up for this. Yeah, that's true. We were
looking for trying to get the crowned as most handsome

(08:57):
man on Earth. Yeah, and it goes to this guy.
I mean, bullshit, the bullshit the ratio. So they so
they used science to see how much people adhered to
the Golden ratio of beauty. Yeah. Uh and according to

(09:19):
this study, uh, Pattinson's eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, chin, jaw,
and facial shape. We're measured against other male celebs. So yeah,
not all men hashtag not all men. Uh, it's important, important, important. Uh.
And his came closest to the ratio of perfection. Yeah,

(09:39):
because the whole these these measurements are like the perfect
face length or the perfect face or if you want
to have the perfect face, the length of the ear
is equal to the length of the nose and the
width of your eye is equal to the distance between
your eyes. And but this is all according to like
plastic surgeons, right, um, which is who always create the

(10:02):
best looking and most normal looking humans after they're don't exactly, yes,
but it's funny because so they say, Pattinson's face basically
scored a ninety two point accuracy rating for this ratio,
and then that means everybody else. Henry Caville point six four,
get out of here, you monster, Bradley Cooper one zero eight,

(10:24):
I'm Brad Pitt nine point five one. I mean, I
am curious because those are all famous, famously handsome people.
I'm curious, like how many people they did they did
this too, you know, because I like it seems like

(10:47):
it's the people who are most famous for being handsome,
other than maybe Henry Cavilla should have been us. Yeah, anyways, yeah, alright,
let's go to start today. Let's go nurse our wounds.
We are going to be back tomorrow morning with more podcasts.
Have a pleasant all right,
