God, we're back.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
We're back.

Speaker 1 (00:07):
Look at their faces, Look look at them all out there.
Couldn't be done.

Speaker 3 (00:11):
Well.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
We're here one hundred and six episodes in, and the
Houston Rockets are the hottest team in the league. The
Cavs called it hit a bit of a wall, and
we're here to discuss that and the state of the
Milwaukee Bucks with NBA analyst Ti Windish on today's episode.
I'm files great and I'm Jack O'Brien, and this is.

Speaker 4 (00:37):
All right, hep, we're here. Ty Wendis is in the building.

(01:02):
You cover the Bucks via the euro Steps.

Speaker 5 (01:09):
Great pronunciation.

Speaker 6 (01:10):
Yeah, I was gonna say, however people pronounce it if
they listen to the show.

Speaker 5 (01:13):
It's fine by me.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
Where you want to row regional, but people, some people
can roll the R and I think that's yea, but
I can't even do it. Yeah, so step past Yeah,
Blue Wire and the you Step podcast network. Anyway, Ty,
thanks so much for joining us. Man. We appreciate you
being here.

Speaker 6 (01:35):
Thank you guys for having me despite my my tardiness
on the show. They don't know, I know, I know.
I just wanted to be honest. I wanted to be
audio honest with the listeners.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
You wanted to be honest and and you're also honest.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Guy Jami is just being.

Speaker 5 (01:52):
Exactly.

Speaker 6 (01:53):
I can't hear that now when I whenever I hear
someone say be honest, I think of be honest because
I'm like to that broken stage of Bucks fandom.

Speaker 5 (02:02):
All right.

Speaker 6 (02:02):
I get covering, podcasting, you know what, not fandom maybe.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
But yeah, no, I get that we should be honest
with me, honest, don't do it, don't do it.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
We're having a serious discussion right now.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
I am being I am being honest.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Being fanastis with you.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
What that doesn't even.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
Work, I know, But you were gonna get mad if
I said, Yiannis that I had to let you thinking
about it.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
You're being all fanasty with me.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
Yeah, well, according to my analysis, this is what is
going on. That's his podcast right the now.

Speaker 6 (02:37):
Oh yeah, yeah, so the live show with Steve and
I Smith, they're they're doing big things right now.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
Yeah, but the Bucks for twenty five looks pretty long. Yeah,
the two seed. I mean unless something wild and wild
and crazy happens. But I don't never happened to.

Speaker 6 (02:55):
The Bucks and the twenty three twenty four seas, and
that would arm so far.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Know, yeah, but yeah, I mean, like Doc Rivers coming in,
a lot of people were like this, the right thing
will happened? Why is he here? Fourteen to eleven.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
Under were mocking him when they were asking that. That's
why they were asking the questions about him. In his voice.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
I mean, I can't do it. It was more like Robert Muller.
I think what I was doing one time.

Speaker 6 (03:23):
In college, I had like totally lost my voice for
reasons I will not specify in this podcast, Okay, and
I could do a perfect for like one day and
it was like the best day of my life. Obviously
far before he was the Bucks coach, but we all
know he was so distinctive, like my voice had to
be gone. Yeah, I was calling people off like doing

(03:44):
like on the court, we have a good day there?

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Like has his voice always been like that? I was
coaching wear and tear. But then in like earlier in
the season, I heard him on a podcast when he
wasn't coaching, and his voice just sounds the same.

Speaker 5 (04:04):
It's permanent like that now.

Speaker 6 (04:06):
But what's a great question that I'm actually going to
research after this pod is like when in life did
his voice be call like was he in college at
Marquette Like sounding like this as a young person, I
can't imagine, but maybe.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
Right, I think we need to ask R. F. K
Junior what happened there? You know?

Speaker 5 (04:21):
Yeah, we need some answers.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Yeah, I bet there's a lot of conspiracy theories, but
who knows? Who knows? I mean, yeah, the the Thunder
Thunder stopped buying. That was a bit of a blunder
for the Thunder. Yeah, look, I'm trademarking that.

Speaker 5 (04:41):
Good.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
Yeah, thank you.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
A bit of a blunder for the Thunder.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
For the Thunder, I was going to do that. If
only they had maybe Ben Simmons played there, then I
would have I would have been able to.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
Get do Rivers left them asunder?

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Yeah wow, A true poet and don't you but yeah,
that was I guess. That was the first time since
the beginning of February the team had Giannis Dame Ann
Middleton in the lineup. That's true.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
I mean it kind of makes you wonder.

Speaker 6 (05:09):
It's actually we've we've been plundered from watching basketball because
they keep being out.

Speaker 5 (05:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (05:16):
I think it was like the third or fourth game
all three of them have played in the doc Rivers
ten years. So again like the record is what it is,
and there was some tough road trip moments with Doc.
But also contributing to that was Chris Middleton missed so
much time after Kevin Durant ended up in his landing area,
so Chris sprained the ankle and the Bucks are just
prohibitively careful with Chris Middleton. But yeah, it's hard to

(05:37):
argue because the last two times he's been out for
a significant period and came back, he looked pretty good
when coming back, whereas they tried to rush him early
last year from an injury and it did not work
out very well.

Speaker 5 (05:47):
He had to go out again. It was just kind
of a nightmare.

Speaker 6 (05:49):
So while there are Bucks people and just NBA people
who are you know, very concerned and I think get
you know, flight or fight or fight reaction when Chris
is for any period of time, I do think the
Bucks have learned how to handle it. But yeah, now
that through the trio of them I saw Frank Madden
shared today that they are the best three man lineup

(06:10):
who have played at least six hundred minutes per net rating,
so they have been dominant when they have played together.
They just haven't played all that often together, especially not
under Doc. But I think overall, despite there's been some
low moments and the River's tenure as short as it's
been so far, but also they've been a much more
serious defensive team, and it seems like the players are
just more bought into. I think some of Adrian Griffin's messaging,

(06:33):
if not a lot of it, simply not getting through
to this veteran team, and Doc seems to be doing
that in a much better way. It also probably helps
that we're just much closer calendar wise to playoffs now
and the game's getting real serious.

Speaker 5 (06:46):
But I do think this Bucks team, you know.

Speaker 6 (06:49):
If they can stay healthy, which has been their biggest
if for like three years, they're in a pretty good
spot to go up against anyone, just with the top
end talent some of the veterans they've assembled on this roster.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
Is it true that Adrian Griff was trying to install
the play where like Giannis gets down on the ground
and barks like a dog and it like distracts them.

Speaker 6 (07:06):
Is that I heard they wanted to do the ring
around the Rosie played it suggested with Steph, where you
just formed four players around dame and let him shoot
because no one can get close to him.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
Technically around really fast.

Speaker 5 (07:17):
And I don't know why they tried it. I would
try it.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
Yeah, that never goes big with the veteran NBA teams.

Speaker 5 (07:26):
Which is why we're to play all the young guys.

Speaker 6 (07:28):
They would buy into some of these crazy pyramid plays
and everything else.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
Yeah, I'm just trying to like picture what the practices
were like. Like, I think he had like some kind
of scheme based defensive stuff right that they weren't buying in.

Speaker 6 (07:42):
He wanted the first four I think the only lasted
four games, but they were having Brooke Lopez blitz and
he's seven feet tall and old and very large, and
it just was not working and they gave up the most.
I think they were last in the NBA and points
out at the rim, which is a very non bucks
thing when you be honest and set. Then you look
at now they're back to like very very like zero

(08:03):
basically against the thunder they don't allow any.

Speaker 5 (08:05):
But yeah they did. They did.

Speaker 6 (08:06):
Literally they ran around in a circle and danced and
clapped the game after Griffin got fired. I mean it
was I'm sure it was like a thing to do
similar things all the time.

Speaker 5 (08:14):
But it was like, very much like Joe, Okay, they
really wanted this to happen.

Speaker 6 (08:18):
This is like not this was not a surprise to
the team as much as it was to everyone else.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
I guess it sounds like a witch is coming to me.
I mean, you know, listeners this podcast might not know
how I feel about dancing, but I've been foot Lucian dancing.
I don't know what was that thing for something?

Speaker 1 (08:34):
You heard it mass over the weekend.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
Oh yeah, just to you know, people in the woods
dancing around. Yeah, can't good luck.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
But yeah, yeah, like you said, seventeen and eight without
Middleton this season, and you know, the posting I remember,
like I was like in years past. I always remember,
it's like when Middleton is not there, it's things start
to wobble. Obviously, Damian Lillard is in there now, but
I'm guess saying that's still very much a key piece
because yeah, you're you're gonna need Chris Middleton, yeah, in

(09:05):
the postseason to really kind of recreate the kinds of
highs that you've experienced in the past.

Speaker 5 (09:10):
Yeah, I think so.

Speaker 6 (09:11):
I think you look at you know it just logically,
I think their their biggest are their worst moments without
Chris is you know, Johannison Dame bottled up to the
extent that they ever are. But you know they make
the outlet right, you have to sometimes you bring three
to that action. You force the ball to go somewhere else.
And just the level of confidence you have in the

(09:32):
team when it's Chris Middleton operating and basically a three
constant three on twos right if you send three at
the Dame and Gianni's action. There's been three Bucks offensive
players and only two defensive players versus a j. Crowder
or a Brook Lopez or Milik Beasley. Nothing that those
are not skilled players, but just having someone who can shoot, pass,

(09:52):
drive at the level Chris does. He's rocking on more
than two to one. It'sis turnover ratio. He's had a
bunch of big ass SISS games this season. It's just
such a stronger offense and it makes it so much
harder I think for defenses to key in on Damon.

Speaker 5 (10:05):
Be honest, and we've.

Speaker 6 (10:06):
Seen I mean again, they've they've been dominant when they
played together, and it makes sense. I mean, there's you know,
Chris is used to kind of being the one a
ball handler alongside Drew Holliday. Now getting to really be
the third distinctly third guy is a really advantageous spot
for him. And he's you know, responding by leading the
NBA in mid range field goal percentage and shooting forty
plus percent from three and all these other things. So yeah,

(10:29):
I think him being out there is certainly huge for
this Bucks team.

Speaker 2 (10:33):
All right, pitch me the Bucks so that my NBA
philosophy this season is just like I'm rooting for everybody
except the Celtics. Yeah, the Celtics the field. To be honest,
You're catchphrase, what is what's the like? How do the
Bucks match up against the Celtics?

Speaker 5 (10:51):
Like?

Speaker 2 (10:52):
How make me feel confident in rooting for the Bucks
as the potential spoiler to this Celtics season?

Speaker 5 (11:00):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (11:00):
I think it really does come down to those three players, specifically,
I think the big two. I mean, I think the
idea behind the Bucks generally and certainly against the team
as great as Boston is. That's fine if you have
like the deeper team, there's just nobody on your team
who can guard this two man action, and we can
figure out enough defensive leaks.

Speaker 5 (11:18):
We do have Giannis on the back line.

Speaker 6 (11:20):
We do have some tough veteran defenders like Crowder and
Patrick Beverly, and of course Brook Lopez is going to
have some trouble in that series, I'm sure, just because
they stretch them out with all their spacing with their
bigs Horford and Porzingis. But I do think it comes
down to, Okay, if Jannis and Dame are on and
locked in, and Chris is playing and playing well, I

(11:40):
think they can beat anyone, just because even the Celtics,
with all these great defenders, they don't have two guys
you can stick on both of them and be comfortable
switching it. And I don't know if they have anyone
that you feel comfortable guarding Giannis one on one period.
And that's been the real thing that I think we've
learned this season, is like, even though Dame is not
being he hasn't shot the ball well all year, he

(12:00):
is lately.

Speaker 5 (12:01):
Which has been great to see.

Speaker 6 (12:02):
He's been an elite three pull up three point shooter
in the last month or so. But just the attention
he gets makes life unfairly easy for you, honest, which
is why he's on pace for and probably going to
hit the first thirty points on sixty percent from the field.
Season Ever, I think he shot seventy one percent against
the thunder like teams show two to Dame. Giannis now
has an advantage and he's just eating ridiculously.

Speaker 5 (12:23):
So really the blueprint is that.

Speaker 6 (12:25):
I mean you look at when those Giannis played the
Celtics last in the playoffs. He averaged like thirty thirty
four and seventeen rebounds without Chris at all, and so
just him and Drew Holliday and basically role players. So
I think it's really just like, Okay, giannest is set
up to rampage. The help is better than it's ever been,
even though the defense is worse. The offense should just

(12:47):
be like ridiculous.

Speaker 2 (12:48):
Yeah, I love it all right. I Mean my instinct
has been it's the Bucks have the best chance. Everybody
else is, yeah, just getting in the way. So let's
let's get a healthy buy team to the Eastern Conference
Finals against the Celtics, and.

Speaker 6 (13:03):
I would love to throw Miami at them round one though,
and just see, yeah.

Speaker 5 (13:08):
Let's just see right like he looked dead. That's never
stopped them before.

Speaker 7 (13:11):
Yeah, I'm in what what I mean, like, what effect
do you think that the game against the thunder Hat
on the m v P race at all, because I
know that was like a time we're like, hey, we
get to see Shaye.

Speaker 1 (13:22):
We get to see honest Shaye looked. He only had
twelve points. What the three rebounds, two assists, I think
or something like that, and a lot of.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
People are like I was watching, I was like, he
should score more.

Speaker 8 (13:36):
I think, I think, yeah, yeah, but like, I mean,
it's uh, I know for a lot of people now,
people are like they're like, yeah, man, Shae is a
joke or whatever.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
Like I think, we there's so much reactionary stuff that
happens that at the end of the.

Speaker 2 (13:51):
NBA fanning your head.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
Look the real fans that I thought of my group threads,
it's nothing but unhinged reactions. It's like this guy was
a joke from the beginning of this guy he could
only score at the free throw line. It's like EmpId
last year, man, Like that's the kind of those are
the kinds of things like it.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
But anyway, it can be less.

Speaker 1 (14:18):
If he doesn't get to the stripe. Don't how many
points did you really get? But anyway, I mean, like,
how did that I mean, like, what is the what
does the MVP lotter even look like? Right now?

Speaker 5 (14:28):
Man, I feel like it's just furned it up for you,
o Kich.

Speaker 6 (14:31):
I think was already it could become first place, and
it's probably going to finish there again, which I mean,
I think it should be that this game, and there's
another Bucks Thunder game on the menu that I would
expect Shay to play quite better against the Bucks in
in Oklahoma City.

Speaker 5 (14:46):
I'm very interested to see that game.

Speaker 6 (14:47):
We'll see how many people the Bucks send, with it
being toward the end of the season, how serious they
are in that game.

Speaker 5 (14:53):
I hope serious.

Speaker 6 (14:54):
I like when they played the top teams well and competitively.
I think because they've had so few games with the
top three players under doc, they should try and maximize
these games. But they did against the Thunder. But I
think it should give be Honest a little bit of
propellant toward being more mentioned.

Speaker 5 (15:10):
I mean, I think he's.

Speaker 6 (15:11):
Kind of been like always one of the last guys
thrown in almost like I know I have to say Honest,
I'll get in trouble, but I really don't want to
vote be Honest for MVP. I think part of it
this year is the Bucks have had this weird, uneven season.
But on the other hand, they've got the top net
rating against top ten net rating teams, so they've played
really well against good teams and then very poorly against

(15:32):
the Wizards of the World and they got smoked by
the Grizzlies and things like that. And be honest, I
would argue has been the stabilizing force that has them
pretty locked in a second in the East, despite firing
a coach and everything else that's happened, and you know,
building a roster with all offensive players to compliment Drew
Holliday and then trading Drew Holliday for the ultimate offensive
player and Damian Lillard, and yet they still win a bunch.

(15:55):
They're still very good when their main players play, they're
still great. I think Giannest that kind of speaks season
he's had. I think we've seen that work for some
candidates before, so I hope it got him more in
the convo. But I'm not gonna realistically expect that Joannest
will win MVP. I think Jokic probably has it, and yeah,
I think I'm more okay with that than if someone

(16:16):
like Shae had won it.

Speaker 5 (16:17):
I do think.

Speaker 6 (16:18):
I do think you should have to be a certain
tier of player, like a very, very very top tier player.

Speaker 5 (16:24):
I think Jokic is.

Speaker 6 (16:26):
I'm not sure Shaye is there yet, although he's was
certainly knocking on the door of this season, I'm not
gonna knock him from that just for this one game.

Speaker 2 (16:34):
Is Jiannis meenor this season?

Speaker 6 (16:36):
Like?

Speaker 2 (16:36):
Is that? Is that just the a handful of stories
that have broken through, or is he like gotten a
bit of a chip on his shoulder this season that
he didn't have.

Speaker 5 (16:45):
I think he's had a chip on his shoulder for
a couple of years now. I think.

Speaker 6 (16:49):
I mean the way their playoff runs have gone the
last two years. I mean, this is a guy as
competitive as he is. I mean, I'm sure every year,
right it's his goal to go win it all, especially
after they did. I mean, you know, the out of
can you win it in Milwaukee was erased in twenty
one and then twenty two. It's like, Okay, you lose,
you lose in seven, you almost had him in six.

Speaker 5 (17:08):
You blow it. But you know, no one likes to
make excuses.

Speaker 6 (17:11):
One of your best three players didn't play a single
minute the series, and the team that you lost, you
went out of the finals. In retrospect, that's a series
where you're like, okay, you.

Speaker 5 (17:18):
Know, ye you lose those most of the time, right, Yeah.

Speaker 6 (17:21):
Then last year he gets kind of hurt, but still
something was just wrong. It seemed like coach Mike Budenholzer
had kind of you know, his message wasn't totally resonating
with the team, some quotes gotten afterward, and you know,
had some missteps. Of course, had you know, personal tragedy
happening off the court, which is horrible, and his family,
but was just kind of not seem like the fit anymore.

(17:44):
So then this new coach Griffin gets the endorsement of
the Honest, things go horrible. I feel like it's been
a pretty trying time for the Honest Bucks experience the
last couple of years. So I do think there's certainly
something to prove. And I honestly think there was an
idea that he was like on the decline. I mean,
there was some very popular takes on the old X
machine that you know, always passed his physical prime.

Speaker 5 (18:03):
He's probably done. Is Dame going to be their best
player this year?

Speaker 1 (18:06):
That's actually well, my friend group texts actually who are
saying that people.

Speaker 5 (18:11):
Yeah, yeah, they do.

Speaker 2 (18:13):
They are those people don't by the Bucks organization to
just like generate bullet board material for you, honestly like that.

Speaker 5 (18:21):
I don't think he.

Speaker 6 (18:22):
I don't think he actually sees it. I don't really
don't think he does. I think maybe stuff that like
the TV stuff, but I don't. I hope he's not
one of the the Twitter guys.

Speaker 5 (18:32):
I don't. I don't want the franchise player.

Speaker 6 (18:34):
I don't read the everyone's an idiot on the stay
of myself mainly included, so don't read about it.

Speaker 2 (18:40):
Yeah, how last question on the Bucks, how do you
feel like they are situated for like, it feels like
we're seeing a tighter whistle the last like two three
weeks than we've seen in maybe a decade. How do
you think they're set up to deal with that?

Speaker 6 (18:58):
I think most of most the most for the most part,
very well. The one part they're not is just Dame
had already not been getting a great whistle, I guess
by his standards, and had been frustrated about the whistle
he has gotten, especially on drives. They really do not
give him continuation. When he does, he gets fouled and
he's going to pull up, which, frankly, the way they

(19:18):
say the rule, like I'm fine with. Like, by the
letter of the rule, it shouldn't be continuation if you're
getting fouled.

Speaker 5 (19:24):
If you get fouled and then pull up, they're saying
it's not continuation anymore.

Speaker 6 (19:28):
Although I do feel like it's been legislated pretty tough
on Dame in particular, But outside of that, for the
Bucks on the other end, I think it's great. I
think it's helped this defensive run for them in a
big way. I think something Doc Rivers has emphasized is
like putting the fear back and fear the deer and
just being a really physical defensive team.

Speaker 5 (19:46):
And you watch them now on screens.

Speaker 6 (19:48):
I mean they just push guys around screens like that's
how they do screens now, and they really disrupt actions,
they disrupt back door cuts by doing it, and they're
really I mean, they're getting away with it. They're allowed
to defend more physically, and guys like Malik had to
step up and be their wing defender just because gotta.

Speaker 5 (20:03):
Looked her out and Okay, there's nobody else to do it.

Speaker 6 (20:06):
I guess it's me, and props to him for taking
that on. That's certainly not his rep but uh, I
think it's allowed them to lean into that, to own
the paint more, to be more physical contesting at the rim,
and it's it's really I think, kind of bringing back
their culture from a few years ago when they were
going to the finals.

Speaker 2 (20:22):
Man, I hate when I'm like in a situation, I
look around and I'm like, oh, I'm a muscle. I'm
a muscle. That's right, Okay, all right, guys, I guess
I'd better take care of.

Speaker 1 (20:33):
This, Luca.

Speaker 2 (20:34):
I guess yeah, all right, Let's let's take a quick
break and we'll come back and talk about the rest
of the league. We'll be right back, and we're back.

Speaker 1 (20:51):
We're back.

Speaker 2 (20:53):
Miles just said bring us back, Daddy to me and
just felt good. Cool. Anyways, we weren't even check them
with with ah, I'm a little I'm a little out
of sort.

Speaker 1 (21:14):
Exactly.

Speaker 2 (21:15):
They come there my stomach, but they come up through
my throat. It happens, it happens. We wanted to check
in with teams who have already beat their win total
projections for this season, who because it's easy to lose sight,
like we're like, oh, yeah, okay's good this year. Right,
we knew that Minnesota is good this year. Okay, See

(21:37):
in Minnesota have both already beat their win total projections
for the whole season by five wins. Wow, they're already
five wins. That's the most of I guess them and
the Magic are but are tied. All all three of
those teams are already five wins above their projection for
the whole season with like a dozen games left. About

(21:59):
the Rockets, who were about to talk about are already
over their win total by three. You know it's they said,
they said, you know, coaching doesn't really matter that much anymore.
It's all about the players. But this guy just gets
it done. Yeah. I will say though, Boston had the

(22:22):
I think we're projected to have the most wins in
the whole league this year in the preseason, and they've
already beat their win total by two Jesus like they
were objected to be the best team in the league
and with twelve games left, they've already beat their projections.

(22:43):
Pacers already two wins up on their projection. Pelicans just
hit theirs or are about to. But the Rockets let's
talk about the Rockets there. They've won eight in a
row and now they're just a game back of the
Warriors and some other team from the West whose name

(23:03):
I can't remember.

Speaker 5 (23:05):
People talk about very often.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
Yeah, it's easy to forget who they are, you know,
as the bottom of the plan. But they the Warriors
are looking not great, and you have.

Speaker 5 (23:22):
To say, you're not scared of the team behind you.

Speaker 6 (23:25):
You're not in a good spot a franchise typically that's
not you never want to.

Speaker 2 (23:29):
Hear that, right, right, Remember the beginning of the season,
just like in terms of like getting some perspective on
this season, the Warriors were like kept getting into fights
with the Timberwolves, and people were like, I think this
means like the Warriors are taking the Wolves seriously. And
now it's like, yeah, no, the Wolves are way better

(23:50):
in the Golden State by like quite a bit, by yeah,
a healthy margin. They didn't need. They weren't doing the
Wolves any favors by being like, that's it, we're taking
you seriously enough to like cheap shot you. So I
don't know. The Warriors have hadn't had plenty of fun,
so I don't feel too terrible for their franchise. No,

(24:13):
but yeah they the Rockets are storming from behind, and
I think they might do it. I think they might
get into the play in in EMA's first season there
and Jalen Green Man Jalen Green.

Speaker 6 (24:31):
As if Nets fans haven't had it bad enough this season,
we have to get this another round of reporting of like, oh, yeah,
they wanted to trade Jalen Green there just so you
guys know, enjoy firmly eleventh in the East and he's
on an absolute tear and kind into that potential people
saw for him. It does make you think though about
these young guards, like how many people wrote off Scoot
Henderson already.

Speaker 5 (24:51):
It's like it takes time man, especially guards on the ball, I.

Speaker 6 (24:54):
Feel like take the longest usually, And it's been really
fun to watch Jalen Green from the recent announced to
be later to see Gee League Knight team.

Speaker 5 (25:03):
Go on this crazy roud.

Speaker 6 (25:04):
I mean, the schedule has help the Rockets for sure,
but I think that's a player who people have kind of.

Speaker 5 (25:09):
Been waiting for more to happen.

Speaker 6 (25:11):
And I always like to see those guys who have
been kind of gone through the already gone through a
news cycle because the NBA is the NBA of like
he's done. He was he's a boss, you know, bad
pick whatever. To see those guys come out and play, well,
I'm always like that's cool, good for you.

Speaker 1 (25:24):
Yeah, you know. I remember we were like what, I mean,
what's Fred van Vliet doing going down there? And like
what are they doing? Dylan Brooks like are they for real?

Speaker 2 (25:31):
But yeah, it's they were like overpaying, but not like
maxing out overpaying. It was just like that's a lot
for him, but it's not. It turns out it's not
that they haven't really overspent and they're not like locked
in for I don't know, it feels okay, they feel
like they're in a good position.

Speaker 1 (25:47):
Well yeah, it's like they just got the right just
just enough vet in there, yeah, to make it all
make it all click for them. And I think a
part of me, I mean, I'm I was talking with
producers Jo Bar, I'm like, do we want to play
the Warriors or do we want to play the Rockets
or are we even are we going to fail? Are
we even gonna be? I don't know, but I am.

(26:08):
I am partially terrified of the Rockets a little bit
more than the Warriors. I mean, they're both equally horrifying,
but like just knowing. Like at first Jabar was like,
oh yeah, and then Shinnoo might be back in my way.
I thought I thought it was a season ending injury.

Speaker 2 (26:21):
Wait no fair, no, no, no no you said no yeah
no you said you said he's an ending.

Speaker 1 (26:25):
You can't say, can't do that, can't do that, can't
do that.

Speaker 2 (26:32):
They're five, they're fives losing shng doon uh And I'm
pretty sure Bill Simmons on his podcast was like, did
you trade cheng Goon? What do we here?

Speaker 1 (26:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (26:50):
Remember Sillo always going full second person where you like
can't tell who he's talking about. He's like, then you're
coming in and You're like you know, then you're gonna
tell me? Then you're that, and I mean you're I'm like,
what who am I? At this point, I'm so few
love those guys, love their show. It just we're poking fun.

(27:12):
But yeah, he was like Jaalen Green, all of a sudden,
he got Bill Simon's got some smoke for saying something
bad about Jayleen Green in seasons past, and now he's
ready to blow it up. A trade Sengoon in favor
of Jayalen Green, who I think he compared to young

(27:33):
Kobe bro young Cob.

Speaker 6 (27:34):
Yeah, oh yeah, okay, oh yeah, we don't have to
go all the way, one way, all the way.

Speaker 5 (27:40):
He's having a really nice run in March. Can we
just enjoy that? Do we have to? All Right, here's
his Hall of Fame case.

Speaker 2 (27:48):
Shooting fifty six from the floor and fifty percent from deep.
That's where I'm like.

Speaker 5 (27:53):
All right, totally sustainable.

Speaker 2 (27:55):
Yeah, either the greatest shooter that we've ever seen of
all time or you know, he's he's on a bit
of a hot streak.

Speaker 1 (28:03):
Yeah, yeah, but.

Speaker 2 (28:04):
Yeah, I mean Udoka led the Celtics to a fifteen
game improvement in his first year with Boston in twenty
twenty one, twenty two, and he's already thirteen games better,
uh with with these Rockets with twelve to play in
Houston in his first year at the Helm. Like I
don't know, it does make does make you kind of wonder, like, man,

(28:26):
there he was just there, just there for people to hire,
and you know, for there's a it's a bigger story
than that. But at the same time, you talk to
any team that is struggling right now, and I think
ninety nine percent of them would be like, yeah, that
would have we would have we wouldn't have minded that, yeah,

(28:49):
lak yeah, yeah, not that the Lakers are struggling, but I'm.

Speaker 1 (28:53):
Just well, no, come on, just be real weird we are,
we are struggling. You know, we were saying, you could
I can care less about my Lakers drugger ling. But yeah,
it's anyway, that's that's for another time, another time. But yeah,
I I do. I think it would be really fun
to see the Rockets sneak in there because it just it's.

Speaker 5 (29:14):
Just a.

Speaker 1 (29:16):
No and even but I'm saying my expectations are so
low as a Laker fan. I'm like, I'm notou to
be like they're going to stop us from winning the championship. No,
you know, but because we already had our time to
secure a better seed, and we just every time that
opportunity present itself, we're like, well, I don't know what
we're gonna do on just lay down and die. So yeah,
in that sense, I'm more I'm here for the narrative.

(29:38):
I'm here for the I'm here for the eventual uh
you know, bio pick that would come out based on and.

Speaker 5 (29:43):
What does it do to the Warriors.

Speaker 6 (29:45):
If it's the Warriors, so they're the ones swear intenth
and a game up or whatever, what does their summer
look like if they don't make the play in and
a healthy stuff season.

Speaker 5 (29:53):
I mean, like we're mostly healthy.

Speaker 6 (29:55):
I don't know, he's not gonna play all eighty two,
but it's not like that one a couple of years
there where he plays like twenty games and they're bad.

Speaker 5 (30:00):
It's like, okay, close out Steph barely played, Like what
are you going to do? This is like a hey,
we should be competing up.

Speaker 6 (30:06):
Wiggins has been kind of some stuff, and Draymond's been
in and out because he keeps getting in trouble. But like,
this should be a season where we're still pretty good.
If you don't even make the play in. I mean,
I know the West is good and know everything, but
that's I would imagine that that gets you a pretty
active summer if you do not make the play in
with a prime Steph Curry on the roster, right, that's

(30:27):
actually I'm not even going to qualify that's prime.

Speaker 5 (30:30):
He's still he's still awesome.

Speaker 2 (30:31):
Yeah, yeah, he really is. It doesn't feel like I
don't know what I expect to see them do, though
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (30:39):
Oh, I have no idea. Someone should call Kevin Durant.
That seemed to work for them.

Speaker 2 (30:43):
Last time I did, they were pretty good. Run it
back Calves, Like, I can't remember a single loss damaging
a team's reputation as much as the Calves losing to
the Heat on Sun Day. I mean they it's not
a single They're three and seven or the last ten

(31:05):
and they just don't look that good without Donovan Mitchell
missed the last four games due to a nasal fracture.

Speaker 5 (31:13):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (31:13):
But yeah, Miami just smoked them in a way that
people seem to find pretty convincing. Yeah, despite the fact
that the Calves are a third in the East.

Speaker 1 (31:24):
Yeah, but when you compare that to the other teams, Yeah,
the other teams in the top six, they're six and
four or better during that same stretch, You're like, yeah,
that's Uh, I'm not a petition.

Speaker 6 (31:35):
You can't hang the hat on the injury thing, because
the Knicks are there too, and they, I mean they
had their own three and seven run. I think they
really just had no one playing right and they weren't
getting as beat as bad as these Calves were Yeah.

Speaker 1 (31:46):
Yeah, I feel like I was just saying before we record,
I'm like, I remember last season, we're like, man, the Calves,
look out, Man, look out. Then the All Star break
hit and then you're like, what what happened to that?

Speaker 5 (31:56):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (31:56):
What happened in a second?

Speaker 1 (31:58):
Yeah, it's a bit of a bit of a pattern.
I'm noticing. But I mean, are any are you what
any expectations for the Calves or we just were thinking
the Calves will calve.

Speaker 5 (32:10):
It's so weird.

Speaker 6 (32:11):
I mean I feel like they the first like beat
up spell, they do that fourteen and one run and
it's like okay, like hell yeah, they came together, like
the season is, you know, they passed it together. And
now it's like they're still hurt, probably equally as poorly hard.
I mean, obviously Donovan Mitchell is a huge loss to
any team. Yeah, but the fact that they just look
kind of just like listless out there, that's what concerns me.

(32:33):
More like you lose some games, you lose some games.
They got smoked. I was like, what forty points? Like
they didn't have I mean, they still had Garland, they
think they had Mobile, but Allen was out or maybe
vice versa. Again, I get this big injuries, you don't
want to overlook that, but I do think it is
just concerning like the level they've played at. And I
also think, you know, maybe Mitchell's more important than we realized,
which sounds stupid because like, obviously Donovan Mitchell should be

(32:56):
seen as important. But I feel like there was this
kind of movement of like, oh, it's him and Garland
together are the backboard, and they have Mobile and they
have out like it's a it's really it's you know,
it's our core.

Speaker 5 (33:05):
For Yeah, maybe Mitchell's just absolutely awesome.

Speaker 6 (33:08):
These other guys are good, but without him, I think
they've really struggled to just have enough punch, which you
think they should be, like Okay, I mean you look
at like the heat, you know, they're not exactly team firepower.
They put up one twenty. So I think it says
a lot about Mitchell too.

Speaker 2 (33:25):
Yeah, it seems like he is the engine right, like
they when this whole thing of them being a compelling
team in the East started when Mobiley and Garland went
down and he just took over. So it does feel
like Cleveland needs Mitchell and they need him back soon.

(33:48):
So we'll see his fractured nasal. But that's not an
injury i'd heard of before. So you learned something.

Speaker 6 (33:58):
They've heard of ERP injection too. There's a lot of
stuff with Donovia Mitchell right now.

Speaker 2 (34:02):
Yeah, Orlando another one of the teams that has broken
their expectations already. This is that there the forty two
wins already matched their twenty eighteen nineteen total, which is
the last time they finished above five hundred. If they
reached the fifty win plateau, it would be the first
time since Dwight's tenure when they went fifty two and
thirty and twenty eleven. Their coach Jamal Mosley's doing an

(34:25):
incredible job, and they just have like a good solid corps.
I mean, they were lucky to be drafting first overall
when they got PLO, but they took the right guy,
you know, and they got Franz Wagner, you know, not
number one overall, and that wasn't by any means a

(34:46):
like sure shot. And so I don't know, they're just
they're in a good place as an organization. It'll be
interesting to see what they do in the offseason, and frankly,
what they do like, I'm hoping the Knicks catch the
Calves so that we can see Orlando against Cleveland in
the first round. I feel like that would be a
fun series, and then Nicks Pacers would be a real

(35:11):
kind of clash of styles, you know.

Speaker 1 (35:13):
I would, Yeah, I'll put my throwback jersey on to
watch that matchup. Yeah, in a while, those rebbit MyD
mits for that kind of matchup. I was. I was
also reading like a lot of that, like at the
end or the beginning of the season, like people were asking,
like Anthony, Both Anthony Edwards and Jokic were like, They're like,
who do you think is going to really surprise people
how they play? And they were both like the Orlando magic.

Speaker 5 (35:35):
Like defense is yeah, man, yeah, that that leaves an
impression on you.

Speaker 6 (35:39):
I feel like more than offense, and they have so
many I didn't think Jalen SAgs was gonna be an
awesome defender. I guess I didn't know too much about
him and just coming out of the draft, but to
see him kind of like struggle with the scoring but
then just really hone in on that end has been
really cool. Isaac playing again and still being like a
you know, world destroying wing on defense has been fun.
I mean, they have some clear like offensive spacing stuff

(36:01):
they're going to deal with in the playoffs whoever they play,
but they are going to make life hard for the
other team. And it's just cool to see one of
these teams that, as you mentioned, I hadn't been about
five hundred and was that like five six years? I
don't I don't want to think about twenty eighteen nineteen.
It is that long ago because it makes you feel old.
So we'll said three years, it's been three years since then.

Speaker 5 (36:18):
In that good. But it's fun to just see kind
of get through it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.

Speaker 1 (36:24):
I mean, like you look at even Jonathan Isaac stats
like for among bench players that have played over fifteen
minutes per game, he's like first in like so many categories.
So it's they've they've yeah, they've they've got some. But again,
what do you think they're ceiling is this season?

Speaker 6 (36:38):
Ty, I'd be pretty surprised if they won a first
round matchup.

Speaker 1 (36:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (36:43):
I just think well, with the half court scoring and
just shooting issues in their lineup. We know teams in
the playoffs get physical.

Speaker 5 (36:51):
They packed the paint.

Speaker 6 (36:52):
I just am not sure they're going to be able
to overcome that four times to score enough points. I mean,
we know they'll be able to hold down the teams
they're playing, but like, if it's Cleveland and Mitchell is back,
you only hold down Donovan Mitchell so much like that
guy can get going get loose in the playoffs in
a way. I just don't know if anyone on their
team can will see, like maybe Franz and Paulo can
do it and they're ready, but we just know they'llee

(37:13):
extra attention.

Speaker 5 (37:14):
I'm just not sure they have the offense.

Speaker 6 (37:17):
But I mean, if they catch the right team, like
this Cavs team that like, if they're kind of reeling
going in. We just saw them get out physical by
a not great shooting team last postseason. So Baby Orlando
looks at that blueprint and goes, hey, we can do this.
This is how we play too. But I mean, I
think if they give someone a really good run in
the first round and then go into this summer with
whatever avenues they have to improve and more internal development

(37:38):
from their players, that's got to be a win, right.
I mean, nobody was picking them. I mean they could
be off home court. I mean if they don't win
the series. Having home court in the playoffs and getting
real playoff reps for these guys, I think this is
an awesome season regardless for Orlando.

Speaker 2 (37:52):
Oh yeah, yeah, I mean they smashed expectations. If you
had to pick one team to know, we're coming off
of a playoff run by the Miami Heat that was unprecedented,
you know, eight seed coming through. What what would you
what team would you pick for to like make some noise.

(38:15):
And you can't pick the Sixers because that's too obvious. No,
you can. You can East or West, but you can't, yeh.

Speaker 5 (38:26):
I know there's not many teams you can pick.

Speaker 2 (38:29):
Can't pick the Sixers, man, I know, I don't.

Speaker 5 (38:32):
Believe in them. If they were I would say, I
don't believe.

Speaker 1 (38:34):
In what.

Speaker 2 (38:38):
Way you're talking about?

Speaker 1 (38:38):
Man?

Speaker 6 (38:40):
Wow, I would say the Palace. Yeah, they're kind of
getting out at the right time. Zion's doing some really
awesome Zion stuff. The I seems to be more locked
in on defense, which has been nice to see. Again,
they're still like they have some shooting questions and stuff
to answer, but when they have some really strong two
way players as well, and I just think.

Speaker 5 (38:59):
I'm really excited.

Speaker 6 (39:01):
I hope we get it like Zion in the playoffs,
It's just gonna be so much fun. What does that
look like? How worn down the teams get? Like again,
I would pick Denver because I think Denver is just
like amazing. Yeah, well, like Zion versus Jokic just could
be such a fun like it's such a fun battle
of guys, like such such different kind of dominating bigs.

(39:21):
But they both dominate to a certain extent more so
of course, But I would just love to see, like,
how did Denver contain him? How does anyone contain him?
So I'm excited about the Pels. I will take the
Pells to make a weird Cinderella run. I think east
it'll be a little tough, just like the Bucks and
Celtics have a little I mean balls. Celtics of course
have distance, like the Bucks are a little better than
everyone else too. You could say the Nicks if they count,

(39:44):
if they get healthy enough, but I'm not totally sold
on that. I feel better about it being the Pels.

Speaker 2 (39:49):
Yeah, and the heat. You feel like they just too
many different they.

Speaker 5 (39:53):
Go, No, they go every other year, they don't count.

Speaker 2 (39:55):
It's all the time.

Speaker 5 (39:59):
They could do it. I'd be pretty surprised this year.

Speaker 6 (40:01):
I feel like they're so small it's just going to
be hard, Like they just keep acquiring point guards and
losing wings. But I'm not going to write them off
until until they're mathematically eliminated. I think every Celtics Bucks
or just general Eastern Conference fan is like, they could
beat my team. They could beat my team in the
series until there and even after it's like maybe they're
going to find an exploit in the rule book to

(40:22):
get back in this series.

Speaker 5 (40:23):
I don't know, but they just never go away.

Speaker 2 (40:26):
And obviously all of that is you know, your opinion
of who would be good if we're not allowed to
pick the Sixers. We did edit the part out where
you said the Sixers aren't any good, I.

Speaker 5 (40:39):
Would say something else.

Speaker 2 (40:42):
We actually make it sound like he was saying the
Sixers are the team that everybody would be like, they
could beat my team. That would actually be great. Thank you,
Brand the editor, make that happen.

Speaker 5 (40:52):
Shop it together.

Speaker 2 (40:53):
Yeah, we're actually a Sixers propaganda podcast where.

Speaker 1 (40:56):
We just even if it's real choppy cuts like when
that interview with Homer. Yeah, moving so sweet, sweet path.

Speaker 5 (41:07):
Anyway, enough collar for this.

Speaker 1 (41:11):
It's a normal size.

Speaker 5 (41:13):
It's a normal size collar.

Speaker 3 (41:19):
All right, let's take a break and we'll be right
back with the rabid fire round of course, right after this, and.

Speaker 1 (41:34):
We're back tie WEINDI ish?

Speaker 4 (41:40):
Wow?

Speaker 1 (41:41):
Well well, I mean, look, it's great to have you
on the show, and to help commemorate this moment, we
have to put you through our hottest of hot seats.
It's a rapid fire round of questions. Okay, we're just
gonna ask you a question you don't think, Just give
us your just instinctual reaction. Just chest pass it right back,
just shoot it right back at us. Don't expand on

(42:02):
your answers. We don't care. We're trying to keep this tight.
We're trying to get as many questions in as possible.

Speaker 5 (42:07):
I love it. That's so I never think so I'm ready.

Speaker 1 (42:09):
Good, good good. We like that on this show. We
like not thinking on this show. And guess what's we're taught? Yeah,
I see, I haven't thought yet single thing this whole time.
I don't even know what're talking about? Who am I?
Who are you? Okay?

Speaker 2 (42:23):
Just watched an episode of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles where
like the put the enemy had like a mind reading thing,
so they had to fight without thinking, and like that
blew their minds. They were like and then Donatello did
all the moves without thinking. And that's a sort of
digression that you need to just stop me from making,

(42:47):
because this is supposed to be just rapid fire bang.
No digressions about my children.

Speaker 1 (42:54):
Rap it though for you, and no digressions about my
children none whatsoever.

Speaker 5 (42:59):
Are we one? But I'll let it go. Yeah, let's
do it.

Speaker 1 (43:01):
Yeah, Okay, I hope you're ready. Time here we go right.

Speaker 5 (43:05):
Start the clock.

Speaker 2 (43:06):
Our hands are tied. Here we can we just have
to all.

Speaker 1 (43:11):
Right, hopefully you can win dish here segment with some
great answers, you know, we try. Hey, keep it moving.
Those are those were B grade jokes man, those are grades.
They were selling those at the joke outlet.

Speaker 6 (43:27):
Mall.

Speaker 1 (43:28):
Okay, now it's time to hit you with the real stuff.
I said, Brian started the clock. Okay, the time the
clock is going. Do you want to go first?

Speaker 2 (43:35):
Check?

Speaker 1 (43:35):
Or should I go first?

Speaker 2 (43:36):
Uh? Why don't you go first?

Speaker 1 (43:39):
I'm gonna go first. Tie wind dish more likely to happen,
and why, but keep the why very brief? Wolves Finals
run or Bucks Finals.

Speaker 5 (43:46):
Run, Bucks Final Run. The honest is better.

Speaker 1 (43:50):
M hmm, Okay, can you give us a little bit
more than that, just so I can kind of have something.

Speaker 5 (43:53):
To towns injury.

Speaker 6 (43:55):
It's difficult for them, and I just think getting through
Denver is going to be.

Speaker 1 (44:00):
Okay. That's that was too much. That was way too much, dude.

Speaker 5 (44:03):
Wow, wait, I kept it too brief.

Speaker 2 (44:06):
Miles. Some people an inch and you know.

Speaker 1 (44:08):
I know, I give you an inch and they take
a mile.

Speaker 2 (44:11):
Walk the miling your shoes or something.

Speaker 1 (44:15):
Ty.

Speaker 2 (44:15):
You could go back in time to personally witness any
of the following take your pick, uh Wil's one hundred
game four, twenty twenty one finals, Kobe's eighty one Game seven,
twenty sixteen Finals, the Lebron Block, and also you get
to bring Twitter with you.

Speaker 1 (44:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (44:34):
As much as I love the Milwaukee Bucks, I'm gonna
say the Lebron block Game seven, twenty sixteen. I think
it's probably the greatest basketball game we've all gotten a
witness in our lifetimes.

Speaker 2 (44:42):
Yeah, I agree that that was a Blacks. I do
wish I was more on Twitter back then.

Speaker 1 (44:47):
I hit a three at the Sports Arena in fifth grade.

Speaker 2 (44:51):
Wow.

Speaker 5 (44:52):
Yeah, that was second on my list.

Speaker 1 (44:54):
I had an NBA three.

Speaker 5 (44:55):
I wish I was there too as a fifth grader.

Speaker 1 (44:57):
And almost anyway, we got to keep this movie.

Speaker 2 (44:59):
Say during Clipper night, Yeah yeah, look, I don't talk
about Wait, so the main event was your game and
the Clippers playing in between was like the special event.
You gotta let the weepers play in between.

Speaker 1 (45:13):
Exactly exactly it was. It was it was a charity match.
It's a charity match where we liked to. I remember
Keith Klass was begging me for some guidance. I said, look, kid,
why don't you come on by? Why didn't you bring Dominique?
Was there previous year? It was like, were good times,
good times back then. But don't get me on a
digression about my past or my kids. It's about the

(45:34):
rapid pie Riders. Next one, Taiwin Dish rank these current
duos in terms of your postseason expectation. Yanna's Dame, Jokich, Murray, Luca, Kyrie,
Katie and Book.

Speaker 5 (45:50):
I think you had him in order. I think you
had Order.

Speaker 2 (45:56):
Over Murray over Yokramurray.

Speaker 1 (46:00):
Wow.

Speaker 6 (46:02):
But I think the last two and that's I think
they're very close. I think the first two are very
close to the last two are very close. I think
Dame has a little more upside than than Murray, although
in the playoffs Murray has been absolutely ridiculous and maybe
he just picks that up again. But if he does
that again, then it's probably that duo. But he has
been just kind of unbelievably hot to the extent I

(46:24):
don't know if I think you can keep doing it.
I will just barely say Luca and Kyrie over katiean book.
So many great players, but I trust Luca in the
playoffs more than I think anyone else. And out of
the out of the bottom two groups.

Speaker 1 (46:37):
Okay, that's right, Ty.

Speaker 2 (46:39):
Somebody's coming to the city of Milwaukee for one weekend
and it is the Boss, Bruce Springsteen. Uh No, it's
it's just somebody and they they're looking for a good job.
They reach out and they say, give me the three
spots that need to hit up. Could be restaurant, could
be bars, let's get bars, could be a track shifts.

(47:01):
What are you telling them to do?

Speaker 6 (47:03):
I always tell people to go to the art museum.
This is a very Milwaukee answer. Classic art Museum, the
College Trava everyone should check it out. I don't live
in Milwaukee, so I don't have the great restaurant spots
in Milwaukee.

Speaker 5 (47:16):
I will just put that out there.

Speaker 6 (47:17):
I live in Oshkosh, which is if you thought Milwaukee
was small and cold, you have no idea, is what
I'll say to the people country.

Speaker 5 (47:26):
But I would say, yeah, that's actually where it came from.

Speaker 1 (47:30):
Wow.

Speaker 6 (47:31):
Yeah, So go to Oshkosh, Bigosh factory in Oshkosh, go
to the art museum.

Speaker 2 (47:35):
Uh.

Speaker 6 (47:35):
And then I'm trying to think of like my top
restaurant in Milwaukee.

Speaker 1 (47:39):
Actually, give me the top restaurant in Oshkosh.

Speaker 6 (47:41):
Yes, that's easier for me. Yeah, Fletch's, Fletcher's tap Out.

Speaker 5 (47:45):
No, that's all right. Ruby.

Speaker 1 (47:48):
What do they got there, dude?

Speaker 5 (47:49):
They have a chicken Euro that's sensational. They do.

Speaker 6 (47:53):
They do very good burgers. They have a boota bowl
that's pretty good. I don't go to that too often.
I'm more a burger checking Europe guy, but the chicken
euro is probably my number one man.

Speaker 2 (48:02):
Did they have a chicken euro before? Jannis?

Speaker 6 (48:06):
I didn't go before, You're honest, didn't go outside before
you're honest.

Speaker 5 (48:12):
Weight when I have to change.

Speaker 2 (48:14):
Joy was invented, and they didn't.

Speaker 1 (48:17):
I used to drink only sprite, and I started drinking
water after. You're honest, change my life, Change my life?

Speaker 2 (48:24):
All right? Who's the most underappreciated of the all time greats,
someone that deserves to be mentioned but is often led
out of the all time debates?

Speaker 6 (48:33):
That's a great question. I don't let me know if
this answer counts. Does Kareem count?

Speaker 2 (48:39):
Yeah, that guy stinks, maybe he heard heard.

Speaker 6 (48:42):
Him stinks, But for what he did, how much he won,
his individual and team dominance, Like I think he's probably
never going to be in these goat combos anymore because now,
of course it's all m J. Lebron and Jay Lebron,
and then whoever's next Wendy or whoever is going to
be the next will be him versus Lebron.

Speaker 5 (49:01):
I'm sure, yeah, nas Reid probably.

Speaker 6 (49:04):
But the the dominance of Kareem, I mean the fact
that like they didn't they didn't let him play on
the varsity team at U C. L A, But he
beat that team in a scrimmage and that team won
the championship. Like he just won so much at every
level and was so unstoppable. They and the dunk because
of him in college, some real ridiculous stuff. So I

(49:25):
would say, Kareem, uh and if that city, that doesn't count.

Speaker 5 (49:31):
I don't even know Kareem.

Speaker 2 (49:33):
That's I think that's really Yeah. It's just he was
so dominant for such a period that people just kind
of got sleepy, got sleepy about it. They just come on.

Speaker 1 (49:45):
I remember I watch Latter Day Kareem and I was like,
I used to call him the glasses guy. Yeah, and
then and I was always taking my down. I'm like,
why is he playing like he looks old and respect.

Speaker 2 (50:00):
All right?

Speaker 1 (50:00):

Speaker 1 (50:15):

my attention. I'm like, I as someone who chases the cold,
as a native Angelina, I'm like, I want to know
what it feels like when your bones go numb.

Speaker 6 (50:27):
Oh, it's solid. It's real quiet out when it's cold.
