Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello the Internet, and welcome to this episode of Trender
Reveal Party. It's it's calm, it's a we actually haven't
conceived yet. We just to bomb if they did. Oh,
you know, the Gender Reveal Party is uh, like they're

(00:20):
just dismantling just a building. They're like, dude, because it's
a construct o gender reveal party. Open up your mind, y'alla,
but it's gonna be a girl. That was courtesy of
Johnny Davis. Everywhere that we just said all prescripted by
Johnny Davis. We like those now. So if y'all doing
these titles submits a full on script and a nice intro,

(00:43):
it's important that it sounds like we're just talking out
of our ass and not really fully making sense. Yeah. Yeah,
that really nailed the two us wholes all right. I'm Jack.
That is Miles. Yeah, and here are some things that
are trending t d E top Dog damn say t

(01:05):
d Z. Yeah that would be great Top Dogs like Geist.
Oh that would be the crossover of the century. Yeah,
but yes, t d They've been trying to make it
happen for a little while, but we can't really find
the time just yet. I like the energy of these
top dogs starts in the West Coast music scene. I
think good things are coming from the for these t

(01:25):
D people, you know what I mean. They cruelly tweeted
the weight is over five seven twenty one and we
don't know who they're talking about. Could be Kendrick, could
be Scissor, could be Isaiah rash Yeah. So so this
tweeter put together a a list of how long the

(01:48):
wait has been since the last project from their full roster.
So Isaiah Rashad is one thousand, seven hundred and eight days,
Lance Skywalker one thousand, six hundred sixty two Absolt, but
Kendrick has been one thousand, four hundred and eighty four
and says it's been one thousand, four hundred um. Yeah.

(02:10):
So yeah, I don't know who it is. I mean,
you know, if they're saying the way, I feel like
it's got to be one of those three. It's gotta
be Isaiah, Kendrick or Scissa. Yeah. And because school Boy cues,
it's been to Yeah, he's only it's only been a
couple of years. It was the last my oxymorn Yeah,
uh no, no, the first one blank, that's the one

(02:33):
that had I got that water Faces. It's not even
the last one. It was after But I love blank Face.
That's one of my favorite albums of the past. Blank Face, Yo,
there is some Schoolboy cues one of my favorites in
TD because look, Kendrick is obviously fantastic. Scissor has got hurt,

(02:53):
Everyone's got their lane. But I love q Um. But
I hope it's Kendrick or Scissa, because yeah, every Kendrick
album is like such an event for me, Like he's
the one artist that I I will listen to that
album and nothing else for a week, just crash talk

(03:16):
as the new albums, the lattest class school Boy. Sorry,
I don't even remember that anyways. Uh, prayers up that
it's a Kendrick album. Kevin Fiji, Uh, Picky who that's where? Right? Uh?

(03:37):
He is the man in charge of the Marvel universe
and they're having a bit of a little falling off.
I would say, just in terms of I think fans
are worried the last Winter Soldier people were like not
like a lot of people didn't tune in for the finale,
although I don't know, like people seem to like it.

(03:59):
Who watched it? Um. I think it's like how Star
Wars fans are like Mandalorian or whatever. You're like, yeah, man,
like it's content for the thing. I like, So I'll
watch it. But did you are you Mandalorian gang um
gangdalorianum Galorian? Yeah? I mean conceptually, like with the Mandalorian

(04:21):
like culture and what it means to the Star Wars
universe and what they represent. Are you like up on
it though you've watched it all. I just started getting
into season two, um, but like, yeah, I'm liking it
better than the first season, which is all just like
very spaghetti western type of Western tropes. But yeah, I
don't know, it's like anything. It's like because it's the aesthetic.
Like I just love the aesthetic. I'm gonna watch it

(04:42):
and you know, it is what it is. So this
is the most excited I've been for a Marvel project
in a while because they got the director of Nomad
Land uh Chloe Chloe Jaal who. Yeah, I'm just excited
to see I don't know, like part of me is

(05:04):
like she should just keep making like whatever the funk
she wants and not like something that has to take
place in the Marvel universe. But the reason it's trending
is because Kevin f like described a meeting he had
at Disney where he said, I had to keep saying
this is right out of a camera. There's no VFX

(05:26):
work to this at all, because it was a beautiful
sunset with perfect waves and missed coming up from the
shore of this giant cliff side, really impressive stuff. So
like they just found out that, like you can do
pretty stuff without VFX stuff. It sounds like, yeah, I
think Chris Nolan fans had been saying that for a while,

(05:46):
thank you. Um, But anyways, right out of a camera, huh,
this sunset stuff, it's like, are you okay? You know
that there is ship that can happen with your eyes
and that ship is cool too. There's no apparently she
had to fight for, uh, you know, a bunch of
like locations that would enable her to make this movie Eternals,

(06:11):
Uh look as good as she wants it to look.
And so I mean, look, anyone who has an opinion,
because you know, the thing that a lot of studios
do with like big budget films, they just pluck an
indie director who had a really good festival flick and
then burden them with like a gazillion dollar tent pole
film and then be like, well, you know, I don't know.
I guess maybe it's just director, you know, like to
find these ways to sort of give themselves cover by

(06:34):
putting directors in certain spots. I'm glad, you know, she
has a vision and she clearly like it works. But
I hope that doesn't. I hope she brings something to
Marvel rather than Marvel fucking her ship up. Yeah. Yeah,
it's a seven thousand years spanning story, which I thought

(06:54):
worked really well in Old Guard. Producer Brian pointed out
didn't work so well in the film adaptation of Cloud Atlas,
so we'll see. Yeah, I think it can work. I think.
I mean, Luckily is a comic, so they're not They're
thinking in the right way of how to tell a
seven thousand year story in a digestible amount of time. Yeah. No,

(07:15):
mad Land also based on a Marvel comic, but a
few people know that the Hulk comic Rudy is trending.
Uh yeah, I see. I rated his apartment. Yeah, rated
his place for all kinds of I mean, as it
relates to Ukraine and illegal foreign lobbying, which I think

(07:37):
everyone saw with their own eyes, So like, why why
do you need to rate anything? But sure, I'm sure
there's corroborating evidence, and uh I'm glad to see. It
makes me feel like the world might be saying, after all, yeah,
we'll see I mean, who knows what because we have

(07:59):
yet to really see the squeeze on all these former
Trump people, like legally and how that's gonna what kind
of behaviors we're gonna begin to see, um, and I'm
not really looking forward to that, But also I hope
there will be something that is, you know, resembling some
kind of legal repercussion for all the Yeah, we're talking

(08:20):
on tomorrow's episode about Trump's return. Uh, he's now going
to be possibly doing some what are what are those
things called parades? Clan rallies, rallies, rallies. Yeah, and you'll
be interesting to see if this is just the part
where Hitler's in jail writing mind comp or if this

(08:42):
is an actual like fade right, They to black Michael
Collins trending the dude who got left behind on the
Lunar module or ridding the moon while uh, well, Buzz
and Neil when to have their adventures. Uh, he just

(09:03):
passed at age ninety. So shout out to Michael Collins,
just chilling making watching the place. You stay here and
make sure everything's cool. Uh. Kind of the most famous
example of that ever happening. Um, but yeah, I I
wonder if there were any um, you know, deathbed confessions. Right,

(09:28):
It's like it was a Kubrick. He's like, he's like,
I made buzz drink my pet sh what damn? Yeah,
what a time. Uh. And then Grossman is trending because
uh and this was not like sent to me from somebody.
Rex Grossman is trending because, uh he has a quarterback

(09:52):
camp for young developing quarterbacks probably Uh he that So
that this is that dude who we talked about on
yesterday's episode who goes rooms of the country speaking to
eager police precincts who booked him out. He's just got
a full schedule telling people how to kill, why they
shouldn't feel guilty about killing the citizens. Yeah, the mature warrior,

(10:17):
and also how killing leads cops to have the Great
sex Um Yo, he never even killed anybody, right, So
that it seems like the Great sex peg has caught
people's attention because MSN dot com is reporting that an
event of police trainers canceled after that video of him

(10:40):
telling cops that killing people can lead to great sex resurfaced.
It's yeah, I mean, this dude needs to be in prison,
but first he needs to testify before Congress. And yeah,
but hopefully this is just the first step of people
waking up to a true monster in amit. I mean,

(11:00):
I think step one get be like just so you
know a lot, this is what the cops. This is
the podcast they tune into theology. Uh, if you need
more convincing about why everything needs to be completely reformed
or abolished, whatever, whatever the course is going to be.
But this, I mean, you can't have you can't. We
can't continue to have these people walking around who are

(11:21):
in a mindset where they're like, I may have to
I'm actually probably gonna have to kill somebody because this
is I'm a mature warrior roaming the lands for the
detritus of our society. Yeah, and it's just not that
big a deal. Yeah, the years of study have taught
me killing someone is just not that big a deal. Uh.

(11:45):
And he has like big ted talk energy, like he
has practiced this ship so much that it's yeah, you
can just tell it goes down easy, and he is
talking about killing people right and basically killing uh people
of color specifically. It's the same like fantastic energy that

(12:07):
a virgin talks about sex, the same energy where it's like, no,
I'm like, you know, I'm talking to these other people
about It's just it's completely disconnected from whatever you think
it is or what it's actually It's only about what
you think it is, not what the reality of it is,
while also not acknowledging what it means to end a
life or what that would do to you psychologically, not

(12:29):
just saying, dude, it's gonna be fine. It's not like
you're you're not You're not bungee jumping for the first time.
This is like some real ship. But I think that's
the whole point, is that you need people like Grossman
to completely reduce that sort of experience down to something
like dude, no, you used to spin spin off of
that ship, hopping your trunk, get us, get some Arby's.
You'll be good. Don't worry about it. It's nothing. And

(12:52):
that's why, Uh yeah, I hope, I hope this is
the beginning of him. We see tweets of him being
like I'm being canceled by the main stream media. I
can't wait. Yeah. Um. Also one of the most interesting
looking faces, and that it looks like it's been shrunk
down by a photoshop filter and like stuck on a

(13:14):
normal sized head. Yeah yeah. Also like his he's got
like schemy eyes you know what I mean, because his
eyes are so close together like shape. Yeah. Anyways, those
are some things that are trending. We are back tomorrow
with the whole last episode of the show. Until then,
be kind to each other, be kind to yourselves, wear

(13:36):
a mask, don't do nothing about white supremacy, and we
will be back to tomorrow. Talk to all them. Bite
