Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey, it's Fletcher and you're listening to my exclusive iHeartRadio
Ask Anything Chat. Thanks to Romeo and most requested Lie
for having me on tonight to talk about my new single,
un Drunk Cool.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Let's get right into it, okay.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
Natalie from Jersey City, what was the biggest surprise for
you when you first got into the industry, Something that
you weren't expecting. M something that I wasn't expecting was
probably I think I really underestimated the ability to just
trust my own gut and my own judgment, and that

(00:38):
was something that I didn't r I didn't really think
about how much I would have to rely on, and
probably's like been the biggest lesson for me is just
sort of trusting yourself and like learning the power of
the word no, because I think it's the most important
word that we have. Marianne from Erie, Pennsylvania. Did you

(01:00):
play any sport when you were little?

Speaker 2 (01:02):
I did.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
I actually randomly have my black belt in karate. I
was captain on my high school varsity volleyball team. I
played a bunch of sports growing up. Basketball soccer wasn't really.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
That great at them, but.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
Volleyball and karate were two of my faiths. Maria from Copenhagen.
Are you still getting over the breakup or are you
completely over it today and have moved on?

Speaker 2 (01:30):
I think I think when I f F first was.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Going through that breakup, I thought to myself that I
would never get over it. And I think in those moments,
you really think to yourself that you that you never
will and there's no way that you'll ever love again.
And I think each person you know will always have
a special place.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
In your heart.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
But I can confident, confidently say that I am over
it and I have moved on, and that really does
feel like the most liberating feeling ever. And if you're
not there, I promise that.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
One day you will be.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Emma from San Francisco. Has a fan ever traveled far
to meet you? Yeah? I actually had a fan drive
from Nova Scotia, Canada to Boston, which was like a
nineteen hour drive to see me play. Her name is
Robin and she's the sweetest human ever. And it's so
crazy that people would drive that far. I'm like, are

(02:23):
you sure? Like, how carsick did you get?

Speaker 2 (02:27):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
I'm honored, Emma from Vancouver. When you coming to Canada,
I will be to Canada really soon. I love Canada
and I'm gonna be there in the spring, so let's
hang out. Hank from Harvard, what's up would you be?
Would you be up for writing music for other artists?

(02:50):
I do actually write music for other artists. It's, you know,
like I'm also I'm a writer, and that's not just
for my stuff, and it's something allows me to have
a creative outlet that's just outside of my world. And
I really like connecting with people and sort of looking
at their stories from from and and learning different perspectives.

(03:11):
And yeah, I've I've got some cuts out there in
the world, not that many, but you know, when we're
working on it. Ashley from Myrtle Beach. If there was
a swear jar in your dressing room, how full would
it be? I honestly would probably have to dump it out,
like multiple times a day from how full it would be.

(03:31):
I'm from Jersey, Gotta sailor mouth was born with it.
But I'm being really good right now and it's really hard.
Peyton from uh San Angelo, Texas. What is your favorite
cold Play song? I like, obviously Viva Livita. I think

(03:53):
that's everybody's favorite Coldplay song just because it I feel
like it really narrated, UH such a huge part.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
Of my child and was a song that was really
special for me. Faith from Columbus.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
If you're on Family Feud with Steve Hart Harvey, who
are your four teammates?

Speaker 2 (04:11):
Is in Family Feud? Your family?

Speaker 1 (04:16):
I guess I, well, I only have three people in
my family, so I guess it's me, my mom, and
my dad and my brother. I don't feel very confident
in that team though, so maybe you Faith.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
I don't know. I gotta get that together.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
