What's up, guys. This is Nihlisamon with AT and T
Rising Future Makers, presented by AT and T Dreaming Black.
We're talking with black curators who are shaping the now,
the new, and the next for culture this season. Charlo Mane.
God has passed me the mic to get to know
some HBCU students that are on the rise.

am Danish mcadian, a junior icology scholar, and I can
be great. But then we cook mean university.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
That was a great intro. I feel like I couldn't
have done it any better. Who is Donicia beyond psychology?

Speaker 2 (00:42):
Donatia beyond psychology is honestly a chadi quid And I
do that by being a student leader at my university.
I am the first AHC queen out my university terrain
in all fur capacities, and I recently got elected I
think seventieth missed the then Quicknan University go ahead. I
love that.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Yes, ok you what does it mean to you to
be recognized as an AT and T Rising Future Maker?

Speaker 2 (01:05):
I didn't even think I was going to get the scholarship,
especially in that time of my life. I was going
through such a rough patch and it just shortly that
when I count myself out, God doesn't and people see
the hard work I do.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
I can hear it from your introduction, just how much
you're so proud to have gone to an HBCU and
how much you love your HBCU.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
It's life changing. I think a lot of people believe
that when you attend the HBCU, you want to be
prepared quote unquote for the real world. There's so much
strength in your blacknants.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Do you have a future maker mantra? You'd say you
live by your pain?

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Has a purchase such trust apps process?

Speaker 1 (01:42):
