Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hey, everyone, welcome back to Bachelor Happy Hour.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
I'm Joe and I'm Serena.

Speaker 3 (00:05):
And we just wrapped up a great season on The Bachelor.
Joey has found lung, and today we are going to
do a.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
Bit of a catch up episode.

Speaker 3 (00:12):
We're going to answer some questions that you guys sent
in via our Instagram. We're going to answer questions about
Joey's season, in questions about Bachination, because there is a
lot going on in Chination.

Speaker 4 (00:26):
There's always a lot going on in Bachelorination, it feels like,
but yes, we have lost to chat about, and I
feel like this is a good time to kind of
do just like a catch up band questions episode because
we just got back from I guess what you could
consider a Bachelor Nation event.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
Marion Kenny's wedding.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Yeah, Marie Kenny's wedding.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Marian Kenny's well, not wedding. It was a.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Party for It was like a wedding reception.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
A wedding reception. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (00:56):
For those of you that may not know, Mari and
Kenny met on the same season of Paradise that Joe
and I did. They also got engaged on the beach
and they've had I guess what you could consider four
weddings this year because they got married. They had a
wedding on Paradise on the last season of Paradise. Yeah,
and then they had to get married in the courthouse.

(01:18):
Then they had a wedding in Puerto Rico, and then
this was their fourth and final wedding event of their
year of weddings.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
But I don't know if you consider the courthouse a wedding,
because courthouse is really you have to do it to
make things official. Ever, if you get married, if you
have a destination wedding outside of the country, everyone needs
to do it at the courthouse.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
One hundred but it's still like a wedding activity. Sure,
you know, that's the biggest one out of all of them. Technically,
that's the only one that made them legally married.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
Count Yeah. I was going to say something, but I forgot.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
That's okay. Yeah, but it took place in Chicago.

Speaker 4 (01:55):
I know that they had a small wedding in Puerto Rico,
which is where a lot OF's family is located, in November,
and this was kind of meant to bring together more
of their family and friends to celebrate their marriage.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
I had a lot of fun.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
It was super fun.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
I fully her entire cast of Bachelor in Paradise was there.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:16):
It's so funny because I feel like everyone went into
this weekend knowing like two or three other people that
were going and was just like, Oh, you're here.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Oh you're here. Oh you're here.

Speaker 4 (02:27):
Yeah, and ended up being a way bigger group than
I expected. But yeah, it was a ton of fun.
It was seventy and eighties themed.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
I didn't go for either of those.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
I had like a.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
Bit of an eighties aesthetic guid feathers on my little
black dress. Look, I feel like it was seventy eighties
seem optional was on the invite, so but I feel
like our outfits worked.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
My My biggest takeaway was I have bet going with
Blake Boyd's if I could score a goal on him
on the ice and out of ten. He doesn't think
that either me and Zach can score on him, But
he's never played.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Goals, so does he think anyone could score on him.
That's not like a hockey player.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
He's under the assumption that.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
Zach and I don't know how to skate, which is
which is somewhat cool skate, But I do know how
to skate, and he.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
Just well he grew up playing hockey.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
His point, Yeah, he's going to be better than me.
Obviously he played played hockey for years. Yeah, but I
do think I could get one in.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
He's also never played goalie.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
I know, I know.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
We all went out. We all went out after the wedding,
was fun, went to a bar in Chicago.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Everyone just seemed to be seemed to be in a
good mood. Met Ivan's fiance, she was really nice. Yep.

Speaker 4 (03:49):
Damar was there with his girlfriend, and then Chris, Abigail
and Noah.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
How long was Tomar on our season of Paradise?

Speaker 4 (03:56):
Not very long, I don't think. I think maybe like
one two, two episodes because he came down late.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Yeah, he came in with Didn't he come in.

Speaker 4 (04:05):
With doctor Joe Nod? Yes, because didn't they come in
and go on like a double date.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
I think so, I think so, yeah, I think so.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
He wasn't there long, I think I don't. I don't know, Yeah,
I only think he was there for like an episode
or two, yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
Because I remember.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Yeah, and then Chris, Chris and Aana.

Speaker 4 (04:30):
Yep, Chris, Sananna, Natasha was there, Clay and Andrew, Gosh,
so many people. I was trying to think Zach, Brendon, Blake, Piper.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
Yeah, it was a good group.

Speaker 4 (04:45):
It was a big group of people, a lot of
people from clarentatious season of The Bachelor, a lot of
people from season seving a Bachelor in Paradise.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
Any takeaways from the wedding, any takeaways?

Speaker 4 (04:57):
No, I don't think so. No, I don't think so.
I mean it was a really good time. We had
a lot of fun. We all went out after to
wait for you.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
Yeah, I would say nothing juicy, nothing crazy really happened.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
No, it was all pretty pretty tame and wholesome.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
Sure overall, but yeah, I mean overall fun weekend in Chicago.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
Yeah, May congrats tomorrow and Kenny.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
We had a good time.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
We had a great time.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
Speaking of all fakes, Bacheler, let's get into some fan questions.
We have a lot of questions about Joey's season in particular,
so let's get into.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
Those first, shall we.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
Yeah, let's do it.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
Do you want to ask the first question?

Speaker 4 (05:33):
I would love to How do you think Joey did
as the Bachelor this season? What's one thing he did
great and one thing you think he could have done better.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
All right, I'll answer this one first. I not just
saying this.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
I think Joey Mike go down as the best bachelor
of all time.

Speaker 4 (05:53):
He's definitely up there in like the Hall of Fame
Mount Rushmore of bachelor's he was like scary good at it.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
Yeah, I don't think he could have done anything different,
Like I feel like like you could kind of like
you get you could get a good temperature when.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
All the women have.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
Nothing but really nice things to say about him, Like
no one has talked shit about him. I don't think
anyone's talked about him on social media like he really
I felt like he handled every conversation so well.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
You can just tell he's just very you know, emotionally
mature and.

Speaker 4 (06:34):
Yeah, yeah, I feel like he's genuinely someone that's a
very good listener. And I feel like he's incredibly empathetic,
an EmPATH if you will. And I thought he did
a really good job. He was a good fit for
the role. It's hard to say like what I think
he could have done differently, because like I would say
that I wish we saw him open up and be
vulnerable about his life and experiences with the women more.

(06:58):
But I know for a fact that like he was
doing that and we just weren't able to see it
because the women had so many stories to share. I
think maybe he could have broken up with Daisy on
that last date. He kind of basically did, just didn't
realize he was doing it.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
It was a soft lunch breakup, which.

Speaker 4 (07:19):
Is funny because I I think he didn't expect her
to pick up on it as much as she did.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
I don't know how. I mean, we picked up on
it immediately when we were watching.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
Oh yeah, we're like it's game over for this relationship.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
I guess I feel bad for the bachelor because.

Speaker 2 (07:38):
Even the next bachelorette, but especially the next.

Speaker 3 (07:40):
Ax Bachelor, they need to get like a Bob Giddy type.

Speaker 2 (07:44):
Of personality, someone's very different. Yeah, I agree.

Speaker 4 (07:48):
I agree, because as much as yeah, like truly like
we're we're reaching at this point to try to find
something we could say that Joey could have done differently,
like he really did such a good job. And it's
also just I always feel kind of icky criticizing the
lead or like looking for reasons to criticize them, because
it's such a hard job in itself and it's like,
I'm sure if either one of us did it, we

(08:10):
would not do it perfectly by any means.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
Like it's very difficult.

Speaker 4 (08:13):
But yeah, I think that they should go in like
a completely opposite direction for the next one, because it's
going to be hard to like compete with joe Yeah.

Speaker 3 (08:25):
If if you get someone who does it as well
as Joey, that it's going to be boring.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
Ye, You're most likely you can get.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
Someone that's going to try to do it as well
as Joey and screw it up somehow and get a
ton of hate. So I think if you go with
a like a like I said, a Bob Guinea personality
type that's really just just big personality who's out there
and we'll say anything and kind of do anything, I
think will be very entertaining and then there won't be

(08:55):
that comparison to Joey. Yeah, so new indifferent.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
I think that's a good idea.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
Yeah, all right, I'm asking the next question ready, yep,
uh is there anything Joey did this season that surprised.

Speaker 4 (09:10):
You that surprised me? Oh my gosh, I'm now, like
the finale's just so fresh in my mind. I'm trying
to like mentally run back through the season and think about,
like what happened throughout it.

Speaker 3 (09:30):
For me, the biggest surprise was him sending Maria home
when he did, I thought Maria was going to Fantasy Suits,
So that would be my biggest surprise.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
Yes, yeah, I think that's a good one. I would
agree with that.

Speaker 4 (09:49):
Sorry, yeah, I really I don't know. I mean I
guess that, Yeah, that probably would have been the biggest surprise.
I also was think I was surprised by the interaction
between him and Ria prior to going into hometowns where.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
She was like trying to send herself home and he
was like, all right, are you heading out of here?
Kind of thing.

Speaker 4 (10:12):
But I wouldn't say there was any like one specific
action that I was like, oh my god, I can't
believe he did that. Yeah, Like, he was pretty consistent
the whole season. He was pretty like steady the whole time.

Speaker 1 (10:24):
I agree. Okay, okay, my term. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (10:29):
Was there a moment during Joey's season before the final
episode that made you think Joey would choose Kelsey?

Speaker 2 (10:36):
I mean, I think there was a few moments.

Speaker 3 (10:37):
There was a few moments, but I forgot when I
was like I felt Joey like Kelsey more than he
liked everyone else.

Speaker 1 (10:45):
I don't remember exactly when it was. I want to
say it was like.

Speaker 3 (10:50):
It just I think it was like even before their
first one on one really yeah, they had like a conversation.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
I forgot what it was.

Speaker 3 (10:59):
It was like episode two or three where they had
a conversation. I was like, Oh, he's really into this girl. Remember,
I said somewhere like the body language.

Speaker 2 (11:07):
You did, I remember that.

Speaker 4 (11:08):
I think I remember when she said like I'm falling
for you and he was like say it again, and
then like that was like a cute moment. I was like, oh,
he really likes the scroll. Yeah, Like I was like,
I think she's going far. I don't think I was like, oh,
it's her until maybe like Fantasy Suites. I feel like

(11:28):
that the Fantasy Suite date and then them in the morning,
like making breakfast together, and just the chemistry that they had.
I was like, this, it's got to be them, Like
it has got to be Kelsey and Joey.

Speaker 3 (11:39):
At the end, they really reminded me of Charity and that,
and I feel like that one was even a little
that was more obvious. Yeah, Okay, sorry for our listeners.
Our dryers from nineteen eighty in our building won't switch
it out and it heats up our entire apartment. And
Serena runs the laundry when.

Speaker 2 (11:58):
We do the pidecathe not always today.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
Okay, my question, who do you think was the most
shocking elimination from Joey's season.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
I think it's got to be Maria.

Speaker 1 (12:16):
Yeah, I mean that's yeah. I mean, I mean.

Speaker 4 (12:18):
There's a few girls do that one home night one
that I was like, woll we didn't see that one coming,
but yeah, night one can only ever be so shocking.

Speaker 3 (12:25):
Yeah, And I feel, oh, you know what was kind
of shocking. I don't know if it was elimination, but
when Lauren remember Lauren, Yeah, she sent herself home.

Speaker 1 (12:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (12:34):
I wasn't really expecting that. That was shocking. I was
not expecting her to go home that soon at all.

Speaker 3 (12:40):
As far as the final three, it was kind of
like all none of it seemed shocking.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
It all made sense by that time.

Speaker 4 (12:48):
Even like the week before, I felt like, you know,
it was starting to kind of all even the women
were saying like, yeah, we weren't shocked when we got
sent home, Like we kind of knew it was our.

Speaker 2 (12:58):
Week to go.

Speaker 3 (12:59):
I was trying to think of Jen's elimination, but even
that wasn't It never felt like Jen was going to
go further than she did.

Speaker 4 (13:06):
Yeah, I think that we could have, like people were
very much like it could have gone a couple different ways,
but I don't think it was like shocking necessarily. The
most shocking thing for me was Daisy and Kelsey sitting
in that van together.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
That was the most shocking.

Speaker 4 (13:20):
That was the most shocking moment of the season for sure. Okay,
my question, were you surprised when Jen was announced as
the bachelorette a little bit?

Speaker 1 (13:32):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (13:32):
I was.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
I was very surprised.

Speaker 2 (13:34):
Yeah, I mean I think I was.

Speaker 3 (13:37):
Actually that was actually, since I've been doing this podcast,
all the Bachelnation podcasts, that might have been the most
shocking thing I've seen yet. Yeah, you were floored because
I just thought I was like, it's like, I was like,

(13:57):
I'm pretty sure it's Maria, like ninety or said, share
it's Maria.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
But also if it's not Maria, it's got to be Daisy.

Speaker 3 (14:04):
And the reason I felt like they were taking so
long to announce that it was Maria was because I
thought there's potential that they were waiting for the reaction
of Daisy going home and potentially making it Daisy.

Speaker 1 (14:19):
So so that was Jen, I was, I was, I
was actually shocked. Yeah, and I and I really liked Jen.

Speaker 3 (14:25):
I thought she was out of all everyone we've had
in our podcast, she just very personable and likable, and
I think she's gonna make for a great Bachelor atte.

Speaker 1 (14:33):
But I did not see that coming.

Speaker 2 (14:35):
Yeah, I think that's the general reaction overall.

Speaker 4 (14:38):
I think there was just so much social media hype
around Maria and so many people calling for her to
be the bachler atte. And then also, you know, the
runner up or the person with the biggest heartbreak is
usually also a big contender for the baucherrette of the Bachelor.
So yeah, I think all eyes were kind of on
Maria and Daisy. It is funny though, because my mom

(15:00):
literally kept being like, I want Jen to be the baucherette,
and I was like, yeah, like I think she'd be great, Mom,
but like, I just don't know if it'll be her,
Like it's looking like it'll probably be Rire Daisy, and
she was like, I really hope it's Jen, and when
it got in down, she was like, I'm stoked. This
is exactly what I wanted to happen. I was like, yeah, Mom,
you really manifested this for yourself. But I think Jen

(15:22):
is going to be great. I think that it's hard
because she went home before hometowns, so I feel like
a lot of people probably counted her out. Yeah, but
I think she's going to be a great fit for
the lead. I think she's very capable. She's gonna be entertaining.
It's going to be good. I think she's a good pick.
But I do think that it came as a surprise

(15:44):
to us, a huge surprise to you, and a surprise
to the audience as well.

Speaker 1 (15:48):
Ye Oh, shocking, But here we are.

Speaker 2 (15:50):
Yeah, who doesn't love some twists and turns? Alrighty.

Speaker 4 (15:56):
Based on what you know of Jen, what do you
expect to see from her as the lead? Honestly, I
think that there's gonna be someone that's really hot on
the season, and I think it's potentially gonna cause some
problems because I feel like Jen loves a hop boy.

Speaker 3 (16:17):
I think she loves She said that on our podcast, Yes.

Speaker 2 (16:22):
She loves to flir.

Speaker 4 (16:23):
I think she said like her problem in the past
is she's like gone for someone where it's like looks
are a big reason that she's attracted to them, And
I'm just waiting to find out, like who the hop
boy is that she's like a little.

Speaker 2 (16:42):
Like infatuated with and she's crushing on.

Speaker 4 (16:45):
And it's either gonna be like that ends up being
the guy that she falls in love with and it's
all fine and dandy, or it's gonna be drama.

Speaker 1 (16:53):
Yeah, the audience is gonna be like.

Speaker 4 (16:56):
Yeah, the guys are in the house, are gonna hate him,
but she's gonna be like, but he's so hot.

Speaker 2 (17:00):
We have a great time together.

Speaker 4 (17:02):
I'm also excited because Noah Herb Yeah, also known as
Noah and Abigail his twin brothers on this season.

Speaker 2 (17:12):
Yeah, so I'm super super curious.

Speaker 1 (17:15):
And I think they're very different personality.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
Noah and his brother, they are very different. His brother
was in the.

Speaker 4 (17:21):
Military and no I feel like gives like hippie hippie vibes.

Speaker 1 (17:27):
Yeah, yeah, a little bit, just.

Speaker 4 (17:29):
Yeah, an extreme contrast or an extreme example. But yeah,
so and I think the gen is his type. Yeah,
Like I think like they could see her with Gen,
ye see him with gen Sorry.

Speaker 2 (17:42):
So I'm super excited filming. Yeah, yeah, they're filming.

Speaker 1 (17:45):
Wow. So who knows. Maybe they're in love already.

Speaker 2 (17:48):
Or maybe he has sent home already. We don't know.

Speaker 1 (17:51):
Questions, let's do. Let's move on to questions about patronation.

Speaker 2 (17:54):
Alrighty ready, yep.

Speaker 3 (17:57):
If you had to be stuck on the deserted island
with three vetination, who would you pick it?

Speaker 1 (18:02):
I feel like we've answered this.

Speaker 2 (18:03):
I think we have two.

Speaker 4 (18:04):
Yeah, we've definitely answered this, but I'll answer it again.
I know answer Okay, One, you my husband say that.

Speaker 2 (18:13):
Yeah. Two, Blake wins because he's out here surviving in
the wilderness all the time.

Speaker 1 (18:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (18:20):
Three, Noah, because he's a nurse and if I get injured,
he can take care of me.

Speaker 1 (18:25):
Okay, you're too.

Speaker 4 (18:28):
And also like I can just be a little beach
princess if I'm there with three dudes.

Speaker 2 (18:35):
Good for you, thank you.

Speaker 1 (18:39):
I'm gonna say, you know what, if I'm on a desert,
deserted island, I'll just oh, I'll just drown myself.

Speaker 4 (18:51):
Oh my god, that's not the question. Joe's like, I'll
just swim out to see and give up immediately.

Speaker 1 (19:00):
Who would I who are there any doctors?

Speaker 2 (19:02):
Yeah, doctor Joe, doctor Joe.

Speaker 1 (19:04):
Okay, Joe, but I.

Speaker 2 (19:06):
Think doctor Joe's an anesthesiologist, so.

Speaker 1 (19:08):
You can only put me to sleep, which still.

Speaker 2 (19:11):
Is a line with what you're looking for.

Speaker 1 (19:13):
Okay, So yeah, I feel like doctor Joe.

Speaker 3 (19:17):
And yeah, I mean as of right now, I would
say Blake Woyds is the nature the nature guy in investrination,
So if a lie in the pairs, I feel like
he can handle that situation better than I.

Speaker 2 (19:34):
Could, better than most.

Speaker 1 (19:36):
Who would I go for my third? So doctor Joe, Blake,
are you Are.

Speaker 2 (19:44):
You kidding right now? Are you kidding right now? Actually,
I don't want to be on the desert island. Don't
bring me with you. Don't leave me out of that ship.
Actually leave me out home.

Speaker 1 (19:53):
It's actually be doing you a favor by not bring you.
But I would, I would bring you.

Speaker 2 (19:57):
All right, Well that's fine, Yeah, I.

Speaker 1 (20:00):
Mean, unless you really don't want to go, I'll I'll.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
Keep you company, make sure you don't go join yourself
in the ocean.

Speaker 1 (20:05):
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (20:12):
Okay, If you could have gone on a different season
of Bachelor bachelortt just for fun, based on the cast,
which season would you pick.

Speaker 1 (20:20):
A good question.

Speaker 2 (20:21):
That's a hard question.

Speaker 1 (20:24):
Based on the cast.

Speaker 4 (20:26):
Oh my god, wow, Okay, Okay, I'm trying to like,
remember that's girls seem like fun and they all seem
like they're really close and get along well okay.

Speaker 2 (20:43):
And I like love charity.

Speaker 1 (20:45):
Is that your answer?

Speaker 2 (20:46):
I don't know. I don't know my answer. What's your answer?

Speaker 1 (20:49):
My answer?

Speaker 2 (20:51):
I feel like I know what your answer should be.

Speaker 1 (20:53):
What should my answer be?

Speaker 4 (20:55):
Clarentatious season? I feel like you're friends with a lot
of those guys.

Speaker 1 (20:59):
Yeah, I am friends with a lot of them, But
I still don't know.

Speaker 2 (21:03):
You know what.

Speaker 4 (21:04):
Maybe I would choose Joey's season because they traveled to
so many good places that I feel like I would
also want to experience that.

Speaker 1 (21:13):
I'm gonna say whose season was Jared on?

Speaker 2 (21:19):
Jared was on Caitlin.

Speaker 1 (21:22):
I probably I think I would choose that season, so
his nick, Yeah, I think I would choose that season.

Speaker 2 (21:29):
Yeah, that's a good one. That's a good one. I
think Tanner was on that season too. There's a lot
of that season those guys.

Speaker 4 (21:38):
Okay, which Bachelor Nasian couple do you think is an
example of opposites attract Hmmm, that's hard.

Speaker 1 (21:49):
Well.

Speaker 3 (21:49):
I actually feel like Joey and Kelsey seem to be
quite opposite.

Speaker 2 (21:53):
And I know that's really in what way newest.

Speaker 1 (21:56):
Dance, I mean, newest couple. They just very different, they
really do. They seem real Like even interviewing them, I
was like, they are very different people.

Speaker 2 (22:08):
Yeah, I can see that.

Speaker 1 (22:09):
Yeah, she has She's giving me more like New Orleans
like free spirited, kind of like goal with the flow,
and Joey's even though he may I think Joey kind
of like gives a little bit of that energy, but
he's also seems very like type A.

Speaker 4 (22:29):
I feel like, yeah, Kelsey like almost brings that out
in him, but when he's not with her, I don't
see it as much like that goofiness.

Speaker 1 (22:34):
Yeah, and then what about you?

Speaker 4 (22:38):
I'm trying to think who else like from our season?
I feel like everyone like Abigail and Noah like have
similarities and differences, you know what I mean, Like Mari
and Kenny are actually quite similar back in Thomas similarities

(22:58):
and differences.

Speaker 2 (22:58):
Like it's so hard. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (23:00):
I don't think like opposites really attract, Like I don't
know many couples where like they're so.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
Different from one another. Yeah, okay, is that a bad answer?

Speaker 4 (23:11):
Maybe us we are actually we are quite different, really
you think so?

Speaker 1 (23:17):
I thought, I think we're kind of similar.

Speaker 2 (23:19):
I know, it's so hard.

Speaker 4 (23:20):
It's like you can find similarities and differences in every relationship.
I know that's like not really a good answer, but
I think if you look at the couples that maybe
didn't work out, they're they're the ones that were really different.

Speaker 1 (23:33):
Okay, if you had to pick three other veteranation couples
to go out with for a fun night out, who
would you pick?

Speaker 2 (23:43):
That's a lot, let's go too.

Speaker 4 (23:49):
I would probably do you Me, Abby, Noah, Chris, and
Anna because we just all get along really well and
I feel like it's good vibes.

Speaker 1 (23:58):
Sure with that too.

Speaker 2 (24:00):
Okay, not that there's not other vacchination couples that we
wouldn't that we'd want to hang out with, but it's
so hard. Like we're just in Chicago, so that's what's
at the forefront of my mind.

Speaker 4 (24:10):
And I feel like the six of us get along
while we're all kind in the same stage of life.

Speaker 1 (24:15):
So yeah, yeah, that's fair. We had a good time
in Chicago.

Speaker 4 (24:20):
We had a really good time in Chicago. Okay, last question,
what's the best thing about being part of bach nation?

Speaker 1 (24:28):
Crickets Crickets, what's the best thing about being part of
the vachination. I think it's just, you know, it's it's
it's all the love and support from everyone that follows you,
And I think that's like a really nice, nice support
system they have. That's what I think.

Speaker 2 (24:52):
No, I agree, I think we do.

Speaker 4 (24:56):
Have to highlight, you know, the hate and the troll
and a lot of the negative negativity that can come
with the fan base. But for the most part, the
fan base for Bachelor is so like from our experience,
like loving and supportive, and when they come up and
they introduce themselves and say hi, and like every interaction

(25:19):
for the most part that I've ever had with a
fan of the show has been super positive and supportive,
and that is really nice. And I also think that
the community and support within people that have been on
the show and the franchise is a great community to
be a part of.

Speaker 3 (25:37):
Yeah, it's like everyone I meet that's from the show
all ends up being really nice and pretty cool, and
it's just like everyone's everyone's chill.

Speaker 1 (25:45):
So yeah, it's you know, it was. It was a
great way later on in life to like make new
friends and meet new people.

Speaker 2 (25:55):
No, truly, Like it's not.

Speaker 4 (25:58):
I feel like once you're out of like high school, college,
like it does become harder to make new friends as
an adult. Like that's just the reality of growing up.
And it's like you interact with kind of like the
people that you work with and your family and the
friends that you've already made, and then being able to
like go on a show like this just expands your
network so much, and like you see people like living

(26:20):
together and going up for dinner, and it just allows
you to meet so many more people that you probably
never would have met if you were on on the show.

Speaker 2 (26:27):
Yeah, which is cool.

Speaker 1 (26:28):
Yeah, I agree.

Speaker 3 (26:29):
All right, So last question, bonus question came in late.
Is it hard to keep in touch with friendships that
you made on Paradise? I don't know if it's hard
because of social media, but it's more challenging to hang

(26:49):
out with people that you met on the show that
just don't live in the same city as you.

Speaker 4 (26:56):
Yeah, it would be the same as like any other
long distance from chips. Like it's much easier I feel
like to keep in touch with people when you can
see them regularly when they live in your city, whereas
like a lot of Bachelor Nation lives across the US
and varying places, and a lot of people and our
friends do as well. So it's yeah, it's like it's

(27:19):
the same as any other relationship, like if you put
in the work, you can maintain the friendship, and if not,
it's easy for them to fizzle out, especially if you
don't live in the same place.

Speaker 2 (27:29):
Thank you, thank you.

Speaker 3 (27:32):
Yeah, but the one thing nice about living in New
York is a lot of people do come and visit
or come here for whatever work opportunities they get.

Speaker 1 (27:43):
So we do actually get to see a lot of people.
And then when there are weddings.

Speaker 2 (27:51):
And yeah, a little reunion.

Speaker 3 (27:54):
Yeah, like this week it was really it was it
was cool to just see everyone and then it's like
man like, also it was a while.

Speaker 4 (28:02):
Ago, No, it was surreal, like even like I was
talking to Ivan at one point and I was like,
I don't think i've seen you since we were on
the beach in Paradise.

Speaker 2 (28:11):
Which was almost three years ago. Now I'm now married
to you. He's engaged. Like it's just crazy.

Speaker 4 (28:20):
It feels kind of like no time has passed, but like, yeah,
it's been three years since we filmed the show, so
it is crazy and it is fun to go, yeah
to weddings or any sort of event where like.

Speaker 1 (28:32):
Are we going on? Are we going on four years?
Or well this would this June before three.

Speaker 4 (28:37):
This June will be our three year anniversary of meeting
and getting engaged. Because we met in twenty twenty one,
it's twenty twenty four. Yeah, apparently to Joe, it feels
a lot longer than three years.

Speaker 3 (28:52):
Well, sometimes I forget that we got married after a year,
but for some reason I thought it was two.

Speaker 4 (29:00):
Know, it's confusing because we Matt got engaged instantly and
then a year later got married, and then a year
later got married again.

Speaker 2 (29:06):
So wow, look.

Speaker 1 (29:09):
