Ju is still waiting for a new contract from the
Miami Dolphins, and he's sending the message to try and
make it happen. He's been absent from the majority of
voluntary offseason work. His absence is believed to be contract related,
as he ends the final year of his rookie deal.
His absence is notable, and he's typically been present even
for voluntary work. In the past offseason things a beached.
Things appear to be different now, with Tool wanting a

(01:42):
new deal to extend the contract beyond roughly a twenty
three million dollar fifty option he's set to play on
in February to avoid this, confidence that the Dolphins would
sort of sort the deal out with him. That still
hasn't happened, though, despite some warnings that there's no indication
that Miami is walking at a long term deal.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Hey listen, they the NFL is is crazy. For one,
The Dolphins are crazy for two. I understand playing this
waiting game with the skill position players. I understand playing
it with the receivers. I understand playing it with the dbs.
At times, I have really really understand it, you know,
playing it with the running backs, especially with the way

(02:22):
they value. They're not valued as they once were back
in the day. But for the Miami Dolphins to see
Golf get his extension, to see what the teams that
are sure about their franchise quarterbacks and locking them in
and giving them surety and the confidence you are a

(02:43):
number one guy.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
You are the one.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
That we see in the near future to be our
quarterback for this franchise. For them to even be playing
this game and haven't come to a deal yet, I
don't understand what the issue is. What message are they
sending to a for him to be having to wait?
What message are they sending him with allowing him to
miss voluntary workouts where you should be there throwing and

(03:08):
getting the rapport with your receivers. Yeah, getting the timing down.
This is when you want to get all that stuff.
This is when you want to get all that work in.
What are we doing? I have no idea. I think
the thing is, O Joe, where are they going with it?
Because the thing is what quarterbacks try to do, Whether
they're worth it or not. I hate to say somebody's
worth it. But what they try to do is that

(03:29):
they try to advance the ball. So Joe Burrow's about.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Fifty three to fifty five to us, try to get
to be fifty six so the next guy can get
fifty seven and the next guy can be fifty eight. So,
with the exception of the running back position, everybody's trying
to outdo that because they want to keep.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
The ball moving.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
And if you notice, since Christa McCaffrey got his deal,
no running back has ever been able to approach that
sixteen million dollars in which he got, not even close.

Speaker 5 (04:00):
Do you think to is trying to get more than
the top three?

Speaker 3 (04:07):
What's the going rate? He said?

Speaker 2 (04:09):
Hold on, Joe Burrow got his deal. Joe Burrow hasn't
won a super Bowl either. I haven't won a super Bowl.
Joe's won a couple of playoffss.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
You know how they think. I'm just telling you what
the what?

Speaker 1 (04:18):
What the what?

Speaker 3 (04:20):
The agent?

Speaker 5 (04:20):
Now, Yeah, that that might be the issue.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
That might be the issue. That that might be the issue. Now,
are you trying to break the bank and reset the market,
because if you do, if you do that if you
do that, you mess up them being able to keep the.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
Do with me.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
My job is to play football, not try to work
on the cap. You got a general manager, you got
a cathologist for that. You ain't ask your capology to
go throw touchdowns. You ain't ask your You ain't ask
the general manager to catch no passes. So why are
you asking me to try to manage.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
Your cap Yeah, that's dangerous, though, that's dangerous. That's dangerous,
especially on his part. I think tour tour his success
is because of what the pieces he has around them.
I wouldn't take a huge chunk of the pie trying
to get fifty five mell in a year and understanding that, Uh,
if you're getting fifty five me in a year, then
they're gonna have to take some of them nice pieces

(05:11):
around you that also make a good a good concern too.
It gotta be your concern. If you're trying to win,
you got hold on.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
You won't say that when them teams ain't trying to win.

Speaker 5 (05:28):
I understand what you're saying, but come on now, I'm just.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
Saying, we see you see what we do. We'll hold
players to a standard. We were not willing to hold
the teams to see what you're saying. Now, how many
how many teams you actually think out that, Oh you're
really trying to win?

Speaker 3 (05:43):
Oh, like, really trying to win?

Speaker 1 (05:45):
Yes, really, really the Chiefs, the Bills, the Bengals, I'm
talking about, really trying to win and really and actually
have a chance.

Speaker 3 (05:53):
Philly cop U Cowboys, they trying to win.

Speaker 5 (06:01):
You know, it's very few. And then the rest of
the teams that they know, they're far away there they
are pieces away.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
Oh, y'all, it's kind of it takes a special type
of person to really work hard. Yes, sir, knowing I'm
making X m H, I'm gonna make XS regardless whether
I work hard or not. Every team knows I'm gonna
get three ondre million. Even if I don't make this,
even I would make the playoffs. I got three hundred

(06:28):
million coming. Plus I got the revenue from attendance. Plus
I got concession, plus I got parking, plus, I got
naming rights, plus I got local TV. Plus I got merchandise.
So what's my incentive, O, Joe? You still I need
you to give me an incentive.

Speaker 3 (06:45):
I hate when you put it like that. I hate
I hate when you I hate when you put it
like that. Uh Baltimore is trying to win.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
Oh yeah, Uh no, Steve Beshotty, Like I said, when
I was there, he was the majority owner. Then a
couple of years later he about the remaining sharance from
Art Modell rested soul.

Speaker 3 (07:03):
But when it comes down to it, man, it is
what it is. Hey. I just I just want the
players on, Joe, because here's the thing.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
I want the players to get as much money as
they possibly can because you know that day coming on, Joe,
Oh yeah, I done gave you a pay cut, and
guess what you're gonna do one day?

Speaker 3 (07:25):
You're gonna let me go.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
Always if Tom tom Brady, Tom Brady gave them for
twenty years, Tom Brady gave the Patriot pay cut after
pay cut, after discount, after discount after discount.

Speaker 3 (07:41):
And when he wanted two more years, what did they
tell him? Moojo nine, we think we're gonna move on.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
Six super Bowls? Nine No, six super Bowl wins, nine
Super Bowl appearances? How many AFC Championship games? After discount
after discount, after discount, MVP after MVP?

Speaker 3 (08:07):
Guys, can I get you more? Years? Were straight. Hey,
but remember whose call that was? Though? I Hey, all up,
you told me if you tried to win, Tom tried
to win. Tom.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
Still Tom proved he could still win. Tampa went to
the playoffs every year. Now, do I believe New England
was equipped? No, he went to a ready made team.
Looking I believe they could have made the playoffs between
the year before. Jameis wouldn't stop turning the ball over.
You ain't going nowhere if you if your quarterback got
thirty plus turnovers. Yeah, and they still finished ninety seven

(08:44):
with thirty plus turnovers, O Chow, that's correct. Think about
how good that team was to win that many games
with thirty plus turnovers.

Speaker 3 (08:56):
Do I believe New England could have won a Super Bowl?
Not with that roster. Not with that roster.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
Coach Belichick allowed that roster to get beat up, had
loed to get slow, had allowed it to get old.
His draft didn't hit anymore. He's drafting players that within
two years they're gone. And he had lost his magic.
And you start reaching in deeper and deeper and trying
to get diamonds in the rough like he got Drink
in the second round, like he got Hernandez in the

(09:25):
third round like he was getting some of these guys
in the later rounds. It got to the point that
even Tom greatness couldn't overcome the mistakes that he was
making in the draft and in free agency. And when
Tom couldn't overcome it, you know something going on because
that more folks could overcome anything anything. Yeah, and he said,

(09:47):
you know what, man, I still.

Speaker 3 (09:48):
Got it him. I want to play some more.

Speaker 2 (09:50):
You know, think about all the money that you saved
by me taking less than what the market required for
a quarterback. They said, nah, Tom, we really appreciate that.
But uh, you know, you know what somebody Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
you're right. I can I can see, I can see
where you want that that we want to go in

(10:11):
a different direction, Tom, Tom Brady should have been like
a coach, a Shesky, a coach Smith, coach summit, without
any without any checker path check her or anything in
the resume. You retired when you want to son, Yeah,
I understand it's gonna become. But if he wants to

(10:33):
play two more years, let him get two more years.

Speaker 3 (10:36):
Let him get it. Mm hm, he's earned it. Yes,
it was deserved.

Speaker 2 (10:43):
Yes, So that just goes to show you they're gonna
come a time no matter how well you play, no
matter how many discounts you give them.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
Joe Montana Jerry Jerry right, Yeah, got released.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
The greatest of all time. So in in other words, basically,
what you're saying is To it is in his right
to do what he's doing. Then yeah, okay, okay, I
like you.

Speaker 3 (11:15):
I like it.

Speaker 5 (11:16):
I just listen.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
I just I just want to see my I just
want to see my team obviously, you know I'm from Miami.
I want to see see my team do well. But
I do understand how To is able to be successful
is because of the pieces that he has around him.
Tyreek Waddle ob j Yeah, h h Han Moster the
offensive line, it's yeah, you you take all you take

(11:40):
all the meat and potatoes, that that that money.

Speaker 5 (11:42):
Some of those pieces got to go.

Speaker 3 (11:44):
They got to go.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
And then now everything the onus is on you where
you got to do it without the superstars around you,
and then then it can get it can get a
little scary.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
Well, I don't believe he I don't believe he's that.
I don't think he's Mahomes. We see Mahomes. They hated
Todd one of the probably the most dangerous receiver in football,
and they go to two Super Bowls. That guy wins
an MVP and two super Bowl MVP.

Speaker 3 (12:07):
He's not that. He's not that. Can you imagine if
I gave Ma Homes those.

Speaker 2 (12:14):
Weapons that that that that come on, man, that's that's unfair.
But that's what I'm saying. That's that's my thing.

Speaker 3 (12:22):
Oh Joe is that.

Speaker 2 (12:23):
Look, that's a great situation. And I understand for me.
You know, I'm just saying, get your money. But I
got to look around the situation. Okay, I'm in a situation.
I got no state tax I got tag Reed, I
got Waddle, I got Mostered, I got you know, Wilson,
I got these guys, Odell, Odell got a I mean
you see what happened. You lost Christian Wilkins, I mean

(12:44):
a Copley. You had to get Xavier and Howard is gone.
You had to get off a couple of linebackers.

Speaker 3 (12:49):
You got chubbed. That was hurt. You got Phillips, that
was hurt.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
I mean you got to a point because the likelihood
of guys coming back and from achi les and being
able to play right now not good.

Speaker 3 (13:01):
I mean well they did. They do.

Speaker 5 (13:02):
Got a nice d m from from goddamn Penn State chop.

Speaker 3 (13:06):
Oh yeah, yeah, Robinson, I like you, yeah, I like yopp. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (13:10):
Bleacher Report ranked every NFL offense after the twenty twenty
four draft. The forty nine Ers was one, the Chiefs
were two, Lions with three, the Dolphins with four, Eagles
for five, Ravens, six, Bengals seven, Bill's eight, Cowboys, nine
Packers or ten. I'm surprised, you know, because every year
the Cowboys normally number one.

Speaker 3 (13:33):
Real.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
Yeah, I'm trying, I'm trying to think about this, all right.
The forty nine Ers deserve to be exactly where they are.
The Chiefs as well.

Speaker 5 (13:44):
Yeah, Lions, hell yeah, Amona Saint Brown, that boy.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
Yeah, Jameson Williams, they got Laporta, they got Gibbs running back.

Speaker 3 (13:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
Dolphins, Okay, Dolphins obviously, God damn Davante Ain't God damn
a j. Brown, And they just added Sake from five.

Speaker 3 (14:09):
They got dollars.

Speaker 1 (14:10):
Daughter, it's gonna be it's gonna be a little higher.
Ravens rightfully, so, Bengals, you already know what that that
The offense. The offense is like Bills.

Speaker 3 (14:21):
I like it.

Speaker 5 (14:22):
I like, you know what, I like the Packers. Oh,
I like the pack I would.

Speaker 2 (14:26):
I'm not so sure I wouldn't have you know what,
had they kept Aaron Jones, I'm not so sure. I
wouldn't have the Packers higher.

Speaker 5 (14:33):
Hey, why would I just getting ready to say that
I would.

Speaker 3 (14:35):
I would, I would.

Speaker 1 (14:35):
I would put the Ravens down a little bit, and
and I would have in place of I would put
the Bengals where the Ravens are.

Speaker 5 (14:44):
Then I put the Packers, then the Bills, then the Ravens.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
Simply because they don't throw the ball in enough for me,
they don't throw it enough. Too much of the onus
of the offenses is based on Lamar and running. Obviously,
they have Eric Henry now, so I think that takes
somebody to take some of the pressure off off of Lamar.
But just the fact that they run the ball so much.

Speaker 2 (15:07):
Well, maybe they got Henry. They're counting on deck Henry
takes some of that running load off of Lamar.

Speaker 5 (15:12):
I have a question, Yes, why the Jets the Jets offense?
Why is it in here? Is it simply for the
fact that they have Aaron Rodgers.

Speaker 3 (15:19):
Where the Jets say the Jets at thirteen? Yes, yes, okay, okay, uh.
I like the Colts.

Speaker 5 (15:29):
I like the Chargers, Seahawks and Gino.

Speaker 3 (15:32):
I like that.

Speaker 5 (15:33):
I like Texans. I like the Texans and Rams or
for some good ones.

Speaker 2 (15:38):
Put hold on the Texans with Diggs, with Nico Collins,
tank Dale, Dalton Shultz. Yeah, are we sure? I mean
I'm trying to figure out what y'all like so much
about the Cowboys? Okay, they got CD Okay.

Speaker 3 (15:52):
What else? So would you would you switch? Would hold on?
You think the Cowboys offense it's better than the Texans?
No that they're not? No, no, no, hell no? With Diggs,
tank Dale, Nico Collins, Dalton Shows and c J.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
That's crazy. Oh hell, it's crazy work. Hey, the Packers
are really really good. Packers are really.

Speaker 2 (16:22):
Hell no, ain't no way. The Texans got to be
out of the top t N. Now, I'm not so
sure they're not better than the Bills? Are you just about?
I mean, I'm trying to figure out the Bills did
lose Stefan Diggs?

Speaker 3 (16:33):
They so?

Speaker 2 (16:34):
I mean Coleman is a rookie? Yeah, they lost the
what's the other the other receiver that with gave? I look,
I like I like the ken k I like Dawphin Knox.
But are we sure the Bills offense is better than
the Texans?

Speaker 3 (16:53):
You know? You know what it does too?

Speaker 5 (16:56):
It puts the owners on Josh Allen. Now you are
who you are. You are who you say you are.

Speaker 1 (17:02):
Now you have a superstar that's gone, so you're gonna
have to do your due diligence with what you got.
I think Keon Coleman is gonna be phenomenal. You know,
if the entertainment value that he brings through the media
is anything like his play, they're gonna be fine.

Speaker 4 (17:19):
And and.

Speaker 3 (17:22):
They just got Joe Mixing.

Speaker 5 (17:24):
Yeah, Joe and Hughes.

Speaker 3 (17:25):
Texans. Yeah, now, hell, I ain't nowhere. The Texans should
be twelve. So so you putting the Texans at nine?

Speaker 2 (17:36):
Man, I'm putting the Texans in front of the Bills,
in front of the Bengals. I'm talking about just from
an officive standpoint.

Speaker 3 (17:41):
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa?

Speaker 1 (17:43):
You put them in front of the Bengals. Yeah she oh,
Now you tripping now you know? Now you know you
done bumped your head. Now we got Joe Burrow, we
still have Tea. We still have Chase. We got the
young speeds, the burden from Alabama. Come on now, don't
do that.

Speaker 3 (18:00):
I put him in front of him. Don't do that.
Don't do that, put him in front of him. I
thought you loved deed.

Speaker 2 (18:07):
I do all you was talking about man, Tank Dale
O nee koot.

Speaker 3 (18:13):
It real dead. But now we talk. Now we talk
about the We talk about Chase Higgins. C J. Did
you see what c J did last? Yeah? I saw
with CJ.

Speaker 1 (18:22):
Did I see see what happens? See what happened to
see Borough miss a few games?

Speaker 3 (18:27):
Now we don't. We don't forgot. I'm just all I'm saying,
is he all right? All right? All right, Janney Jackson?
What have you done for me lately? Lately? Lright on?

Speaker 2 (18:38):
Yoe amer Texans cornerback Steve Nelson Texan shot at the
Miko Ryan, let's go, milk done. Man, it's your time
to shine. Damn all that meat head persons on her
time to get hands dirty.

Speaker 3 (18:49):
For the city. We need hold on, I'm trying, hold on.
What is this about the terminating the Houston right?

Speaker 2 (19:00):
We need okay, we need local sports teams to send
relief the Houston residents.

Speaker 3 (19:04):
People are without power and food. I was there, I
was very I was.

Speaker 2 (19:08):
Not so sure that we're gonna be able to do
Thursday night because it kind of knocked the power out
in the hotel and I was only able to watch
the second half of the game. And you know, the
guy came up and says, you know, I'm sorry, miss
Sharp that we got there late, that we had to
get people that was ended up being stuck in the elevator,
and uh, and so, I mean, I'm sure, but I

(19:31):
would say, why are you trying to take a shot
at the Miko. That's the Houston Texans. That's uh, what's
the owner? What's the owner name?

Speaker 5 (19:38):
What?

Speaker 2 (19:39):
Uh? McNair, that's a that's cal Cala Hall mcnarea. I mean,
so you're not gonna say anything. So you're not gonna
say anything about the Houston Texans and their ownership. You're
gonna make it about the head coach. I have I
have a question, man.

Speaker 1 (19:57):
I love I love brother Stephen Nelson, But did he
see with the Miko Ryans and the Houston Texans did
for the city last year?

Speaker 5 (20:06):
Did he did he? Did he did he miss what
they did last year? The improvement in the in the
drafting of C. J. Shroud as a rookie who had
a historic season as a quarterback.

Speaker 3 (20:14):
He did not see what they did. What you mean
trying to get your hands dirty? Bro? Come on now,
but they got dirty. But I guess he's trying to say.

Speaker 2 (20:22):
Now with the torn that the tornadoes, tornado, right, tornado
that touched down knocked the power wise, there are people
out water, there's people out power.

Speaker 3 (20:32):
They want him to go out there.

Speaker 1 (20:36):
Yeah, get his hands dirty. Yes, Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay.
I see where we're going with I see whe we're
going with it.

Speaker 2 (20:44):
Okay, my bad, My bad, But I'm just saying, but
hold on, bro, I mean, so you know you still
got the Texans.

Speaker 3 (20:49):
They lived there. Tell me for Tita, you got the
astro crane he's there, you got.

Speaker 2 (20:56):
You ain't so you ain't mention your know other You
ain't mention your no other head coach, He ain't not
ain't mentioned no manager, which is in baseball, no head coach,
which is in basketball.

Speaker 3 (21:06):
Just just to Miko, you see, you see is that
was did did Steve get a chance? Was he there with?

Speaker 2 (21:15):
Was he did he play last year? I don't the
name is not familiar to me. He played last year,
oh with with the Texans.

Speaker 3 (21:27):
Okay, I'm about to gain the boot.

Speaker 5 (21:29):
I see, I see, I see where, I see where,
I see where it's coming from. Okay, I get it,
I get it.

Speaker 3 (21:34):
I get it.

Speaker 5 (21:35):
Ununderstandable, I get it.

Speaker 3 (21:39):
I get it.

Speaker 1 (21:39):
But if if anything I would, I would I would
be calling on ownership ownership to do and help the
city of Houston. The owners, the ones with the long money,
should be first in line to to want to help
the people. You know, the same people that by the merchandise,
the same people that attended games I made. This is

(22:02):
the time of the owners can repay and help those
in that helps him. During basketball season, football season, baseball season,
you know, this is their time to step up.

Speaker 3 (22:22):
I'm sure they are. I'm sure they'll get it figured out.

Speaker 2 (22:25):
But I think normally in situations like this, the sports
teams in those cities, they normally step up. Especially you
remember when they had the flood. I think all the
sports franchise I think they stepped up. JJ Watt raised
like twenty thirty million dollars. They had, they had what
did they call those things?

Speaker 3 (22:45):
When they have those things? TV they used to be.
You're not in Negro college, but what they called it
where they raise money? What are those telethons?

Speaker 2 (22:53):
Raise telethon telethon telethon Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, they
had that. So I'm certain that the sports franchises in
those areas, as far as some local businesses, I'm sure
they'll step up. I think maybe some other owners around
the league will also donate. The Residents of Houston, I

(23:15):
know it's you're inconvenience right now. Hopefully there is no
loss of life, just some property. Those things can be
can be replaced, so hopefully, I don't think anybody I
didn't read and if I'm speaking out of turn, police
correct me. But hopefully no one lost their life. But
I'm gonna push back on this. For him to just
to call out some people, lie, seven seven people lost

(23:39):
their lives. So we're sorry about the lives that were
lost and this disaster of this hurricane that touch down
on Thursday, But I'm disappointed that he would call out
an individual by name.

Speaker 3 (23:52):
That makes no it doesn't make sense to me. It
doesn't sit right with me.

Speaker 2 (23:55):
So I'm sure the franchise, it's the sports franchise and
sporting franchises in Houston, as law as show as well
as some local businesses will come together, even some of
the owners around the league.

Speaker 3 (24:09):
That's what they normally do. Uh.

Speaker 2 (24:11):
And they'll they'll they'll build back. Houston will will. Our
hearts thought. Some prayers go out to the family's Impactice
by all of this and the lives that were lost.
So here at nightcap you have our deepest sympathies and prayers.
Scotti Scheffler was arrested before a prega championship. The world's
top rank golfer, was arrested Friday morning while driving the

(24:33):
Valhalla Golf Club to prepare for a second round the tournament.
The ends of the occurred amita amid a traffic jam
caused by a fatal accident about a mile away, where
tournament volunteer was struck and killed by a shuttle bus.
According to repolice report, shuff Scheffler, in an attempt to
bypass the bottleneck, pulled around the congested into an adjacent
lane where Detective Brian Gillis of the La La Louisville

(24:56):
Metro Peak of Police was directing traffic. Gillis said that
he stopped Scheffler and attempted to give him instructions, but
Scheffler refused to comply and accelerated forward, dragging him to
the ground.

Speaker 3 (25:09):
While many details around the incident remain murky, this much
is clear. Sheffer was arrested, slapped with four charges, three
driving related misdemeanors and a second degree assault of a
police softener officer of felony, before being released in time
to make the Friday morning start.

Speaker 5 (25:29):
Listen, that's I think the officer.

Speaker 1 (25:31):
The officer probably didn't want to hear what was going on,
probably because the incident that happened, someone that lost their life,
and Scheffer trying to go around the traffic and get
where we had to be on time. I'm assuming for
a tea time or whatnot. And I mean, listen you,
I would have tried to be as nice as possible
to the officer explaining, listen, I'm trying to get to

(25:55):
so and so. I'm trying to get the point aid
so I could be there on time. I'm so and
so I'm getting ready for it playing, you know, the
PGA Championship whatever. I'm assuming maybe he didn't do that,
and maybe if he did, it might have worked. Obviously,
if he did. Maybe the officer didn't care. Maybe the
officer might not have been a fan of golf. He
might not have been a fan of goddamn Scotti Scheffler.

(26:15):
But it's this incident could have been prevented.

Speaker 2 (26:19):
Yeah, if Scotty Scheffler would have stopped, that's how you prevented. Yeah,
because because when there's an officer, when there's an officer
on site, he takes command of the of all. So
I don't care about a traffic light, I don't care
about a stop sign. In command, you must obey the officer. Yeah,
So once he said stop you trying to pull around

(26:41):
and accelerate, there's no hold on.

Speaker 3 (26:44):
I thought all you had to do was obeyed. That's
what they tell us. Oh yeah, I thought that's what
I heard.

Speaker 2 (26:54):
If you just obeyed the officer. Now, you know, a
lot of time compliance it's amazing. Yeah, it's amazing non
compliance and he got to this event. I know there
have been situations where non compliance the family had to
release right doves on a day. All I'm say. I

(27:17):
ain't just say it is what it is, but I'm
just saying I thought non compliance and this is hold on,
this is Louisville, and this is luible. I noticed not
what Breonna Taylor lost their life when they kicked in
the Yeah, we'll discuss that another day.

Speaker 3 (27:33):
We'll make that a.

Speaker 2 (27:34):
Segment of another day, another time, another day. Every hopefully
everything to get cleared up. Scotti Scheffler was in the wrong.
I think he admitted that he was in the wrong.
At least I hope he acknowledges that he was in
the wrong, because the officer at that point in time,
the officer doesn't know. He just knows there's there's been
a tragedy. Yeah, and normally tragedy is going to trump

(27:59):
whatever that you made. You know, maybe at that point
in time, the golf tournament takes us to take a
back seat.

Speaker 6 (28:07):
Mm hm.

Speaker 1 (28:08):
The loss of life to y'all always always, And I
don't think I don't you know what, he probably didn't
even understand what was going on. He was just trying
to get the to get the red was And you
know one thing when there's a traffic jam, When there's
when there's traffic cops are not explaining to you what
went on.

Speaker 3 (28:24):
Yeah, and that Scott went on. They're telling you listen, stop,
stay in line. You can't.

Speaker 1 (28:30):
You can't go around all the traffic because if you
can do it, then everybody else is gonna follow right
behind you and try.

Speaker 3 (28:34):
To do it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that guy that's going
to do you know. You know, me and Scotty play
eighteen holes at Pepple Beach. Oh lord, Hey, keep talking
at I got to go to the bathroom.

Speaker 1 (28:45):
All right, A chat chat? What y'all want to talk about?
What y'all want to talk about? Talk about? Hey, anybody

And I scored two golds. I scored two goals to
night too. I scored two goals to night on my
soccer team, and my Jamaican team we called top notch.
Matter of fact, we're so good we could probably beat
Real Madrid right now. That's how good we are all
Jamaica's I'm the only Yank and I don't understand nothing
the boys'll be saying other than that chat, y'all good.
I love y'all make sure you use the cold if

(29:21):
you're getting nightcap merch. Uh, the cold was Saturday, Yep,
Saturday twenty, that's what it is, Saturday twenty.

Speaker 5 (29:28):
That that's the cold. We all grab the merch. The
quality is real good, The quality is real thick, real, real,
real thick.

Speaker 1 (29:37):
I would go in and into explanation on the type
of cotton we're using, but we use the kind of
cotton they use on mummies. Yeah, that's the kind of
cotton you used, you know. That's that good, that good
Egyptian coton. Yeah, and that's pretty much it, right. Oh, recycled,
We recycle cotton. Yeah, when you recycle, recycle cotton from Egypt,

(30:06):
like the same cotton that they wrap the mummies with. Yeah,
that that cotton real nice, thick, thick. You can wash
it and wear it again. They don't shrink that kind
of cotton really.

Speaker 3 (30:21):
Yeah. Hey, I tell you what we're gonna do.

Speaker 2 (30:26):
What we're gonna do, Ojoe, If we can get twenty
people to order in the next ten minutes, yeah, I'll
ship you your mug.

Speaker 5 (30:36):
Hey, hey, twenty people, Hey, twenty people.

Speaker 3 (30:41):
Man, listen, we'll see how bad they want you to
get this mug.

Speaker 5 (30:44):
Twenty people, if y'all could listen, just just do me
a solid.

Speaker 3 (30:48):
I would like my mug.

Speaker 1 (30:50):
I would like to have my nightcap mug so I
can enjoy my lattes and my cafe. Gonna let you
in the mornings.

Speaker 3 (30:58):
Just do me a solid.

Speaker 5 (30:59):
I ash off for nothing.

Speaker 1 (31:01):
I'm normally I'm normally on the giving end. But if
you can find it in your heart, twenty of you,
it's just too many solid please as if my life
depended on it. I want I want to rail.

Speaker 3 (31:24):

Speaker 3 (31:37):
Oh, Joe, you ain't getting the mugs. And I said,
Oh Joe, it's funk code. Yeah, put the fuck Rell

(31:58):

take that's a hood.

Speaker 2 (32:08):
That's a hood had Okay, so see me my mum, No, no, no, no, no,
you gotta got twenty items.

Speaker 3 (32:15):
Okay what other people? Other people?

Speaker 1 (32:17):
Man, see, hey, other people, y'all order man, because see real,
real real gave us two hundred dollars.

Speaker 3 (32:23):
My baby, My baby got money. My baby got.

Speaker 6 (32:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (32:28):
Yeah, see you see what I'm saying about. You know
what I'm saying about about what Hey, it's a consolation.
I'll put that in.

Speaker 5 (32:43):
Hey, hey, well you he well, you you're a good one.

Speaker 3 (32:46):
What you're good.

Speaker 1 (32:47):

no goddamn prenup because I want I want some of that.

Speaker 5 (33:08):
Yeah, yeah, I want some of that.

Speaker 3 (33:11):
All Right, on, Joe, it's time for our last segment
of the day. Oh the wor oh yeah. Check this
out on Joe.

Speaker 2 (33:16):
Yeah you gotta you're not gonna even believe this. A
guy sues MT for bringing him back to life. Check
out the video.

Speaker 3 (33:26):
He's soon the MT. Yeah he brought him back to life.
Checked this out. Oh, so this guy is in court.

Speaker 6 (33:32):
Trying to sue the e m T, which is like
the emergent Emergency medical technician.

Speaker 3 (33:38):
He's trying to sue him for bringing him back to
life after being involved in a hit and run.

Speaker 6 (33:45):
He's said that he has a huge tattoo on his
chest that says d n R that means do not resuscitate,
and that he resuscitated him without his consent. Y'all him
said he was perfectly fine crossing over to see Jesus
and he has now left with a forty thousand dollars

(34:07):
hospital bill since they brought him back to life.

Speaker 3 (34:10):
Coming y'all R and Bold Black had run and judge on.

Speaker 6 (34:18):
The case was like DNR could stand for anything.

Speaker 3 (34:21):
It's not up to the EMT to decide. Hey, that's crazy,
Oh Joe, that's what a lot of people as fact
like that.

Speaker 2 (34:31):
Huht A lot of people in our community to think
like that because their family with those bills, the.

Speaker 3 (34:37):
Economy we in.

Speaker 1 (34:38):
The man rather transitioned to the after life than't be
here and deal with that forty thousand dollar bill.

Speaker 3 (34:44):
Just think about it. If he passed on.

Speaker 5 (34:48):
Oh way, that forty thousand was going to somebody else
then no.

Speaker 3 (34:51):
Forty no forty five. He's like, I ain't got forty
thousand dollars to pay. You put me in debt. Okay,
maybe they maybe they cremated him, which is probably up
four five thousand.

Speaker 2 (35:01):
I don't know how much treatment. I mean, obviously I
haven't had anyboy the cream major somebody. It's gonna be cheaper.
It's cheaper. It's cheaper. It ain't no forty thousand dollars burial. Yeah,
hell u lett he king of India somewhere.

Speaker 3 (35:13):
It would have been cheaper to be dead. Huh.

Speaker 5 (35:15):
Hey, that's they You know, like a lot of people
might laugh. Some people might think it's funny.

Speaker 1 (35:20):
But when you think about it in hindsight, the fact
that he'd rather transition and be dead and actually be alive,
that says a lot. Yeah, that says a lot. Where
we are as a society. Man, think about people that
don't want to go to the doctor. Doctor costs money.
A lot of people are not in position to go

(35:40):
to agency.

Speaker 3 (35:41):
You know, you have to have it.

Speaker 2 (35:42):
They come to your house. You got to have it
on emergency and you got to use the ambulance man.
People ain't got money for that.

Speaker 5 (35:49):
That's crazy.

Speaker 2 (35:50):
So they're like, hey, guy, hey, God tried to bring
me on home. I ain't finna put my family in there.
I could put people in debt. They never be able
to get off for money. They bill some people forty dollars.
I'll be able to pay that, man.

Speaker 3 (36:02):
That's why. As well as long as a long as oh,
you'll never be broke.

Speaker 5 (36:07):
That's that's that's true. That's true.

Speaker 3 (36:09):
I think.

Speaker 5 (36:12):
We gotta vote. We gotta we gotta vote. I think
that's the only way things are gonna change.

Speaker 2 (36:17):
I said, I said I had in the hospital. I
sent the hospital of Bill. I sent him a note.
O Joe, Yeah, I'm gonna say, look here, I'm gonna
put this forty thousand on a running account. If I
don't run up and pay y'all, l ass, don't y'all
run up and ask me for it no more? Hey, Hey,
I mean I grew up in a situation, oh Joe.

(36:38):
I mean we ain't have no money, Oh Joe, we
couldn't go to no doctor. I mean you I'm talking about.
It really had to be life or death, right, Like
I mean a cut, you know, I remember, man, Oh, Joe,

(37:01):
what is this? You see that car? Can y'all see
that scar for of my chear? I had a mold
about the size of my pinky. Oh Joe, my aunt
got some told me to go. I got We had
a shetting pony and uh, she said, go to the
go to the go to the horse pen and get
a couple of his horse tail, his ears out of

(37:22):
his tail.

Speaker 3 (37:23):
Uh, and get bring me the scissors. Uh huh, my
aunt cut it off. What the mold? Yep, that ain't
hurt at what that aestheesier.

Speaker 2 (37:40):
Cut it off better? Thanks blaring so much. And then
she told me, say find some cobwhal so I had
to find some cob web. I wen't got a behndfull
of spider whell went all through the all the house
on the back porch, broke board, got spider wheels and
that's what we use for galls.

Speaker 1 (37:55):
But god, God, that's that's a home remy. That never
heard of that home remedy right there, broad man by man.
She tried our little They try anything on me, I'm game.
I ain't no no better.

Speaker 3 (38:11):
Hey, I like I like that. That's the god damn
cob webs and gauze. Yeah, yeah, you mm hmm yeah
that's uh that thing, isn't it for a scar? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (38:27):
I got a bigger car, but that thing that mold
about that big o Joe, but the biggest my pinky.

Speaker 5 (38:36):
Yeah, you had to get that thing up out of
it down?

Speaker 3 (38:38):
Yeah. I told her.

Speaker 2 (38:40):
She like, you want me to cut it off? I said, yeah,
I wouldn't. Got some horse got some horse hair? Yeah,
she got them scissors.

Speaker 3 (38:50):
Was what was the horse hair? For?

Speaker 2 (38:52):
The horse hair was the final thing that she pulled
it got it off. She started with the sizzles. Man,
that thing bled so much? Yore? Did you get did
you get dizzy?

Speaker 3 (39:06):
Nah? Man, I'm thinking that. You know, when you young man,
you don't man, somebody did that? Now I pass out.

Speaker 2 (39:13):
But but you know when you young, oh Joe, you
don't really be thinking about nothing right right right? Like
when my brother cut me on my leg, I got this,
can't see his car? My brother cut me? Man, I
think flight show, but I probably should have had about
about ten stitches.

Speaker 3 (39:31):
Wait, you had a deep gas and ain't getting those stitches? No?
Hell noah? Play for what? Because I had to tell
my granddaddy what happened? Why I needed stitches. My brother.

Speaker 2 (39:42):
My brother wanted to see who had the sharpest knife,
so he cut me. Man, Man, my grandad would have
killed my brother.

Speaker 3 (39:49):
Man, please, hey for y'all was what y'all was wild?
Oh yeah, man.

Speaker 2 (39:57):
The only time, the only time, the only time I
can remember going to my This was before I was born.

Speaker 3 (40:03):
My sister and my aunts was running through the house and.

Speaker 2 (40:08):
My sister probably was probably about three or four, and
she was chasing my aunt and she was running behind her,
and my aunt slammed the door and took my sister
these three fingers. That was the only time, that's the
only time that I can remember, other than having a baby,

(40:28):
that somebody went to the heart that I was told
somebody went to the hospital. I don't remember nobody going
to the hospital. When I was alive. My sister, with
my sister had a had my nephew. She obviously she
went to the hospital, but hell, ain't nobody know.

Speaker 3 (40:41):
Anybody.

Speaker 2 (40:43):
She talked about the stomach hurt, like what here, you're
stomach hurt? Fuck had a baby, So so that that's
what happened, And that's crazy.

Speaker 3 (40:56):
How many how many orders? Where were you at it? Oh? Joe?

Speaker 2 (40:59):
We got seven team orders. People must I want you
to get that fact that month. So we need three
more three three more, three more.

Speaker 3 (41:07):
Three more order.

Speaker 5 (41:08):
Well, well, technically, my baby, my baby centding is two
hundred dollars.

Speaker 4 (44:25):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (44:26):
Tony Boyd, Hey, hey, oh Joe, do you have best
man already in mind for your wedding? And uh, if
it was you, where would you take Ohoe for his

something that I can do, something that I enjoy. Obviously,
we all know I like cigars. We all know I
like coffee. So anything like that, I'm all for it.

Speaker 3 (45:10):
I'm all for it. So what you think? What can
I do? I mean, we gonna do all the stuff

Speaker 5 (46:21):
Security with you.

Speaker 1 (46:23):
So whatever you do at your little basketat party, just
no security would be present because all that trying to
one last time and all, oh no, no, no, it
won't be that because I'm telling you what I used
to do at bassart parties.

of nowhere. Oh that's a classic episode. Man, you said,
even though an episode I'm talking about.

Speaker 3 (48:03):
Right, No, I don't remember that episode. You ain't see
that Willie. Willie was finna marry the other dude and
Dwayne came down the aisle. Did she not marry him? No?
And she yeah, She's like yeah, she she like like
she was in love. They were supposed to be. They
were supposed to they were supposed to be together anyway.
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.

Speaker 2 (48:23):
They was supposed to be anyway. Yeah yeah. But I
wanted how would have that happened? I would have that?

Speaker 1 (48:30):
Like really, like, if somebody is there a documented case
you think that happens at weddings, I'm probably sure it has.
I ain't never I ain't never seen that. I thought
that only happened in the movies.

Speaker 3 (48:41):
I'm sure it has.

Speaker 5 (48:43):
That's messed up of all of all of all times,
await you.

Speaker 1 (48:46):
You You could express your displeasure long before the goddamn wedding, long.

Speaker 2 (48:52):
As long as as a family member, long as it's
not your mom or dad saying object, somebody else coming
out the woodworks.

Speaker 3 (48:59):
And say it's a bull job.

Speaker 5 (49:01):
Okay, that's messed up.

Speaker 2 (49:05):
But mom and dad said that you by Oh okay.
I asked my son, what if I said object, you
be upset with me.

Speaker 3 (49:15):
To my daddy? Don't do that.

Speaker 2 (49:18):
I already told my daddy, say you already know I'm
gonna be standing right there because I gotta walk you
down the aisle. I'm gonna walking down the aisle. We're
gonna get to that part that I'm gonna turn around
and walking right back up out. Hey, that's their moment.
I would never do anything to best up day.

Speaker 3 (49:37):
Woman.

Speaker 1 (49:38):
Yeah, I'm listen. I'm excited. I know, I know the
day is supposed to be about her. I'm excited. I
just as long as I get to come, as long
as I get to ride in on that white horse.
I don't care about nothing else as long as I
get to ride on that white horse. And I had
the junkin at the reception. You know about junking in

(49:58):
the Bahamas, right I heard of?

Speaker 3 (50:00):
Are you telling me?

Speaker 1 (50:01):
As long as they have the Valley Boy and junkenou
to finish the reception off and we celebrate the right
way and I have open bar with live music.

Speaker 5 (50:08):
She could do whatever she wants. I'll be happy.

Speaker 3 (50:11):
That's it.

Speaker 2 (50:12):
Go ahead, Reil, Reil, tell her you ain't gonna mad.
If you gotta sign a prenup, well get on over
that rail and get on over the rail. Hey, listen,
all Reil got real starting out. Oh so so she
so Basically I'm tour and she the Dolphins organization. Yeah,

(50:33):
all right, if we can play that, listen, I'm trying
to protect I'm trying to protect myself. Sharel has afforded
me a lifestyle that I've never had before. You know,
I'm a stay at home father.

Speaker 1 (50:45):
I get in, I get in an allowance a month,
you know, at at the beginning of the month, I
get a little stifhen, I get a little food stiphing.

Speaker 3 (50:52):
Like that, like that that this is this is new
for me.

Speaker 1 (50:54):
And I'm enjoying the lifestyle that she has provided for me. Yeah,
and I'm not I'm not trying to lose that, So
I'm not signing no prenup. If she want to leave,
I'm taking half of what she got and that's it, period.
And I don't care what people in the chat say.

Speaker 3 (51:08):
I don't care what dude you.

Speaker 1 (51:09):
Got to say, Like women do it to us all
the time, and now I'm in a position where I
can take advantage of the situation.

Speaker 5 (51:14):
And that's what the fuck I'm gonna do.

Speaker 2 (51:20):
Why y'all said, congratulations again on lall of the awards joke,
but behalf of Lanny Ray.

Speaker 3 (51:27):
What goes on in Vegas stays in Vegas. Lol.

Speaker 2 (51:31):
Yeah, okay, well consider it. We haven't heard from her
in a couple of days. Oh she tow up. Ain't
no way, ain't no way. This is the longest she's
ever gone without asking a question. So I'm assuming that
she in Vegas.

Speaker 3 (51:48):
You're having a ball. Huh. Yeah. She blitzed.

Speaker 2 (51:52):
Melissa A said, hey, uncle o Joe, would you date
someone that's a fan of your rival team? I went
on a date and never got a call back. I'm
a chief fan. He's a Raider fan. I didn't think
he liked that I was a chief fan.

Speaker 3 (52:04):
Hell yeah, yeah, I don't think it has much to
do with it. He got nothing to do with that.
You ain't got nothing to do with that. Yeah, you
could be that, you could be the Raiders owner's daughter.
I ain't got that to do with me. Yeah, Hey,
that's our rival. You and I ain't rivals.

Speaker 2 (52:25):
Got to do it because I know in high school,
you know the battle where you where you from.

Speaker 3 (52:33):
Okay, I hate them, I don't hate you.

Speaker 1 (52:40):
You know, if you're dating someone, I've seen a lot
of couples, people that are married. Yeah, Bengal's wife married
to a Steelers husband. I think it makes for football season,
or makes it fun for a sporting event, especially when
the two opposing teams play.

Speaker 5 (52:56):
I think that's dope.

Speaker 2 (52:57):
Nah, you ain't coming to my house. Hey, when you
come to my Look, hey, who are you for? If
you you rooting uhing for the other team, you ain't
coming here to watch the game with me.

Speaker 3 (53:09):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 2 (53:10):
Fighter, We got a conab because I don't want you
jumping up a ride being in my face because I'm
a saw lose.

Speaker 3 (53:16):
I'm a really saw loser in my own own right.
So I'm gonna put yours. You're gonna hit it with
that Martin. You know what, get out.

Speaker 5 (53:26):
Martin was throwing the ass out every episode.

Speaker 2 (53:30):
Yep, you ain't gonna be yelling and scrabby till I
go yeah, y'all, nah, nah, nah, I already know me.

Speaker 3 (53:37):
So just stay, just go ahead and stay at your plate.

Speaker 2 (53:39):
Just watch it at chiuse you want to celebrate, because
I want you to be able to jump up and
down and yell and screen and do all that, and
go get and go lead a refrigerator open and go
drink whatever you want and eat all the nachos and
the k souls and the wings that you want. But
you're nothing to eat up all that stuff in myuth
and then root against my team. That ain't gonna happen.

(54:01):
So you better root the funder your breath.

Speaker 3 (54:04):
Yeah, but listen, you better play it off. Its heartburn.

Speaker 2 (54:12):
Know what?

Speaker 1 (54:13):
Ain't nobody They not gonna want to watch it your
house because you don't listen with the sound on anything.

Speaker 2 (54:17):
I sure don't. I sure don't. That's another reason. Can
I hear the sound go downstairs? The teacher sounding on
the in the bedroom TV don't work and.

Speaker 3 (54:29):
They gonna be screaming from downstairs?

Speaker 2 (54:31):
Yes, nope, sure don't don't watch anything with sound on.
It's done got so bad. I don't really watch The
only thing I probably watched with sound is probably Track
and Field. That's the only thing that I watched with sound.
Everything else it's done got so bad on you. I
can't remember the last time I watched the program that
wasn't sports with sound. Right, They're like, how you know
what's going on? I'm like, I'm just watching, right, somebody

(54:56):
kills somebody and they gonna go to jail.

Speaker 3 (55:00):
Watch.

Speaker 2 (55:01):
I don't watch all the forensic files. I don't watch
all the old first forty eighths, so I know what's
gonna happen. Yeah, so that's what we are now, Teddy
Hart said Shannon. There have been number one seed that
have lost in Round one. I'm not saying, OKAYC is
the best number one seed, definitely not the worst. You
know what, Teddy, y'all have quitted. You guys, you quitted

(55:23):

Those games were nip and tuck, and it was a great,
great series. You guys got a lot of promise. Y'all

can just continue to get better, guys, continue to improve
and don't rest.

Speaker 3 (55:41):
You guys are gonna be to deal with. So I
was very very.

you played, but you guys were deserving of the number

this is your first child, Troy, but if it is, again, congratulations.
Odd numbers are not good, So I I it behoove
you to get back in there at your earliest convenience.
