it to you wherever you are because this is still
your day, your moment, and now put your hands together.
It's time to be inspired. This year's commencement speaker the

(00:54):
Congratulations felicie that is on completing phase one or what
will be the journey of your life? I think the
important word there is your life. When I was asked
to speak to you, I really didn't want to give advice.
But from someone who is closer to the end than

(01:15):
closer to the beginning, I will tell you that time
will go by faster than you have ever imagined it
going by at any other time of your life. Nothing
is impossible, and I know you're going to get a
lot of people that will tell you that set your
dreams high, set your mind to the sky. Whatever meme

(01:41):
or whatever post or whatever quote is popular at the moment,
But what you should do is to always believe in yourself.
Knowledge from books, knowledge from schools, knowledge from universities incredible.

(02:05):
But there's a knowledge of life that you will learn.
And the best thing I will be able to tell
you is that not every business is going to be
perfect for you, not every relationship is going to be
perfect for you. You will meet people who will be distrusting.

(02:27):
You will meet people who are dishonest. That's life. When
someone is trying to show you who they are, believe them.
Being able to look at something impossible like flying. I
want to fly. I want to be able to breathe underwater.

(02:47):
I want to be able to fly from building to building.
I want to be able to sprout wings on command
and fly around the world. Dreams when you close your
eyes at night and you wake up and I thought
you were in Hawaii. You thought you were in some
fascinating place in the world. Dreams. Dreams are okay to have,
but in life, set goals for yourself. You want to

(03:10):
be a fireman, want to be a doctor, want to
be a nurse, want to be a lawyer, want to
be president in the United States. That is a goal.
It's not a dream, it's possible. Dreams are impossible, goals
are possible. When you find yourself alone, you're not really alone.
You're with yourself, You're with your best self. There is
something that is given to you at birth, and that

(03:31):
is an instinct, and that is your body, your mind,
your soul telling you the difference between what's right and
what is wrong. Every day that you get up is
possibly the greatest gift that anyone can have. To have
health is more important than having wealth. Steve Jobs billionaire

(03:55):
left this earth way too soon. Take care of yourself,
take care of your mind, and take care of your spirit,
and protect your soul. And everything in this life, everything
in the world, and everything and everyone and every place
in it is your playground. It's your canvas. Don't need

(04:18):
to stay home, don't need to work really close to
where you grew up. You really want to live, get
out of your comfort zone. Travel, Take a job for
a little while, get comfortable in that job, to get
the job for experience, move to another job. You're climbing
the ladder, don't stay on the bottom wrung. Trust yourself always.
I couldn't be prouder of all of you and remember
