Speaker 1 (00:01):
This is Paris. Well, hey everyone, today we have the
big Squad here, so welcome to this is Paris. Thank
you for having us. Yes, So, since you guys are

(00:22):
the big squad, I wanted to do something with you. Um.
I have my wedding coming up and I'm planning my
wedding cake. So I wanted to give each of you
one minute to describe what you would do for my
wedding cake. Who wants to go first? I'll go first
because I like cakes a lot. Okay, one minute, one
whole minute. That's a lot to do. Your wedding cake. Okay.

(00:44):
From what I know about you through the media is big, beautiful, girly,
a lot of fun and personality, a little edgy um
rhyin stones, it's got a it has to have some
glitz and glam. Probably cover it in edible glitter. I
think that could be really fun. And your little dogg
you have to be on there too, so maybe it
would be you in the wedding dress holding your little

(01:05):
dog like a baby or something. I'm like eating us
like pizza. That's cute. I like that. I like the
idea of putting crystals on it, like I love edible glitter,
but I never thought of like Sorrowski crystals that's just
covering crystals, like the slack of flavor favor Wheatshea flavor.
Do you like things like big or small, elegance, crazy,

(01:30):
We need a little bit more, okay, So for the wedding,
Like for my birthday parties and other parties, like I've
had crazy cakes that are just like really fun. But
for the wedding, I think I have to go a
little bit more elegant. So I do like the idea
of crystals. I like something big. I want something I
like some pink in there. I love Hansen's cake. I've

(01:54):
been having it since I was little. It's so delicious,
Like I love when it's that yellow cake batter inside
and then the frosting has like a little tiny like
chocolate chips in it, and like those are my favorite things.
But for wedding, something that's just beautiful and big and amazing.
How many people are we expecting fos are winning. If

(02:17):
it was up to me there it would be like
a thousand people. But because of obviously the pandemic happening
and it's so unknown, I have to make it smaller.
So and thinking make two people. Is it going to
be indoor? Um, I don't know, but I'm assuming that
part would be indoor. Is there a specific theme for

(02:38):
the party. I haven't came up with that yet. If
you guys have any ideas, we would love to hear that.
We'll play the whole thing for you. Loves it. What's
more important to you a flavor or asthetics? If you
had to choose one, I think it's more about aesthetic,
like how it looks, because I feel like, if it's

(02:59):
so beautiful, I don't even want anyone to ruin it.
I would maybe have a different cake in the back
that tastes really good, but maybe it's not as cute,
and then they can serve that. I don't know if
that's normal. At that's amazing, and that's way I like
to walk at. Okay, So one is like the prop
that you like look at, and the one you actually
can eat. We can do the showcake and then on
the back we have a really nice well, don't plead it.

(03:21):
But my ammuty is not started yet, so I'm going
to keep something from me. So who's next? Okay, So
I'm thinking in three cakes. The first cake is a
groom's cake. The second cake would be the one that
tastes like divine, and then the third cake would be
something that's the show piece. So for a show piece case,

(03:42):
I love the cake that UM are very kind of
sort of old school, but a monto cake when you
have three different cases and then you have a bridge
that connects each cake to each other. But we would
make the bridges diamond in quested edible diamonds. Now that's
a girl's best friend. The second cake, I would say

(04:03):
the groom's cake, so we can make that more safely,
so maybe like a sweet corn bread cake, but then
almost have a take on like alloite and UM have
a butter cream frosting, and then we'll blend up some
hot cheetos and then put that on top of the cake. Yes,
like flame of hots, you know, and because that's hot. Yeah.

(04:29):
Then for the third cake, the one that's really really tasty,
I would probably do something similar to what we did
in UM in the episode was I used orange pop
inside of the cake, but we use orange and creamberry
combination and it gave it this pink color and so

(04:49):
athletically it's pink, but then taste wise, it has a
really interesting orange and creamberry flavors. So that's my little contribution,
and I think that you should pick me regardless of
what these two three have said, what they will say.
Smack tucking has begun, yes, yes, yes, like are you
go first body? Okay? So you have time to think

(05:11):
about your idea. Right the more times, the more times
the mayor so Um. I think since the cake will
be served and cut indoor, I will probably come up
with the five tier within cake, which is pretty standard
for two hundred people. But that cake we're not being shown.
It will be hitting. It will be hidden on the ceiling,

(05:34):
and when it's time to cut the cake, the cake
would be automatically going down right in the front of
both of you and you will be able to cut
into it. So the cake will be a showcake and
on the back will have a beautiful set up. Um
with two flavors. I think I will go with chocolate
clemati um, double chocolate cake with some chocolate chips in it,

(05:56):
and we will have something berries. Let's stay in California,
so we to pick the best berries from oxend actuality
is uh? How is berry really from Farmer's marquette? And
I want to give you the really nice tasty Vanina
strawberry flavor cake as well. Yes, alright, my turn. So

(06:16):
what I'm thinking is we're going to create some sort
of display like a tiny little swan or like a
tiny little lake, and then we're gonna make a giant cake.
Half of it is going to be so you're gonna
have four different tiers of cake, and then the other
half's gonna be a giant chocolate swan. So the actually

(06:37):
it's gonna be the cake is actually going to be floating, floating,
So it's gonna be act were real water, not like
blue correct, Now, It's gonna be real water, Okay, And
the cake could float. The cake float because we're gonna
set up like a whole system with the board like
a floating board that I could actually like move around.
So that's going to be the display. Once he gets

(06:59):
what as don't float, Paris, Yes, they float the whole
system for it. Make it happen. If you white cake,
I want I want to add onto my design water pocket.
I wanted to be taller than your parents and actually
and open it up and you appear from the inside

(07:21):
of the cake we built like a capsule inside. If
we're gonna get crazy here. That's hot. No, you already
said you're you already talked about you're a cake. You can't,
you can't change your mind. I've actually done something like
that because my fiance and I celebrate every month, we
have month a versaries. So I've jumped out of two cakes,
like one time, dressed as like a bunny. And it

(07:43):
wasn't a real kick. It was like one of those
like whatever, yeah something. And then I did it again
in l A because I was boord um. It was hot.
Yeah that super sis. Somebody as well just bring that
back like that. So are you going to give your
inshow right now? Today? Going to sink abudi? And I'm
thinking right now? But I love all the ideas, but

(08:06):
I like your idea the best. Hey go, hey, what
do you can't? I'm sorry, excuse me, but of course
she was. She was my idea. We got Cheetos. It
was it was the cheetos. I like the the edible diamonds.

(08:26):
Do they make those? They look like like shiny what
are they? Sugar? I like edible glitter. I always use
that if the four of us came together and made
your wedding cake, it would be the most epic creation
ever were available for higher Yes, what are other good

(08:49):
desserts to think that I should have at the wedding?
I think you need to have a table like a
little a combination of convictions, so chocolate, candy, little minas,
one bite size past trees. It's pretty, it's pretty nice,
and you have a nice value falls with people who
doesn't enjoy your cake. And having like a candy wall
to themed with your colors, like things like ten ft

(09:11):
tall with flat like flowers adorning both sides of them
and all thematic colors of different candies and little bags
for them to make. We make a candy wall like um,
like if you look at like Dylan's candy shop or
like just any old school candy shop. Just make it
all the candy really beautiful so people can take it off,
take it, dispense it in their own bag, Like make
a little that makes their own little candy bag like that.

(09:36):
What is the nine rich Carl from sixty two? Just
call you like that's where a bare bottom swallow. Just
make it a little bit more more. Don't know where
do you? Where have you traveled that you absolutely love
the food everywhere? I love like Italy, like Italian food

(10:01):
is amazing and Frances check Bambaroni, babar fry brioche do
amazing sugar with some new top um and that can

(10:22):
be included on the actual homemade. You can have something
interacted like crips and then people can build their own
crips like a char You can even have a French
chef making the crap for your guests. But my last
name is French, so now what, let's go together. We'll

(10:47):
get him a translator to in case people won't order
like strawberry crepe or whatever like that way he can
understand it too. So I have a new cooking show
as well on Netflix. Do you guys have any advice
for me being a new chef? Try everything and once

(11:11):
you just keep messing up and then just try to
get in a different way to learn something and get
creative have fun with it. That's that's the reason why
we cook and we bake. We just have fun. Yeah,
But I think I think also in order to be
really successful, the passion needs to be here. You really
need to be passionate about what you do. And that's
going to be like reflecting in yourself and the whole

(11:32):
thing that you want to demonstrated. The passion for me,
in my opinion, is number one on everything you do
in life. Don't be afraid of the happy mistakes, because
in the happy misstakes is when you could truly make
something your own. So if something looks like it shouldn't
make sense, to try it out, it might. Yeah, that's
I think. That's what I do in life. I just

(11:53):
like to have fun and I make a lot of mistakes.
But whatever life could be words, can you give us
a head on some things that you're going to be making,
Like what do you want to learn how to make?
I want to learn how to make like doughnuts? How
do you do that? It's a pretty much a brilloge.
It's a brilloge door. You mix flour, sugar, yeast, eggs

(12:20):
but are together. You mix mixed mix with a hook
until all the doors like and stick from the side
of the ball. Then you let your your door resting
for about an hour. Put it in a cooler overnight
is better, so you you kind of like create more
flavor inside your door. And then the next day you
wrote it and then you cut it in the shape

(12:41):
of a doughnut. And we gotta set out again. It's
gotta set for another hour to yeah, nice and pathect
It was so humidity ambignment. That's not going to create
a skin on the top of your door. So you
don't needs to be staged. Just put in the back
corner of your oven. What's the what's your favorite kind
of doughnut? I do like old fashioned? Do you like

(13:01):
that easty glazed doughnut? What do you like? I like
the ones from Dunkin Donuts that have chocolate and rainbow sprinkles.
Thank you? So like that called a glaze donut? Glaze
chocolate donut. How about a donuts wall for the wedding
doughnut wall or not? Do they taste good if they're
on a wall? Oh? Yes, really, yes, there's always a way,

(13:24):
just like they're sitting on a plate, but sideways. Trill
and maybe and maybe and oh I have an idea.
Why now is that we are talking? Maybe the donuts
wall will represent your boss initial On one side of
the wall there is his, and on the other side
of the wall is his yours. And at the beginning
you can have both of you right in the middle,
take a picture, and you have like the whole colorful

(13:46):
wall with your initial what is your fiance like? He's
brilliant and sweet and cut nice and a gentleman and
romantic between donuts and all the great qualities in her
new hobby. You can pick a good filling. I don't know,

(14:08):
chocolate really great at the wedding good challenge right there,
all of a sudden he breaks out of it and
it's like hot, welcome to my wedding. Well, Gonza can
make a chocolate mode of your fiance and then we
can encase him in that mode, and then he could

(14:29):
break out exactly have you ever done that? I can
make pretty much anything out of chuckle. There's always a
way with molden, different techniques, and yeah, we're definitely going
to see that throughout the show. So cool. If you
want your fiance I made out of chocolate, I'll make it.

(14:50):
Thank you guys so much. I love everyone's ideas and
