I am asleep, so that I can have peace for
my worries and forgiveness for my sins. I ask for

your peace to overtake my heart and to embrace my
dreams and sleep. Please is help to ease any anger
or frustration that occurred today and remind me of your

great love for me. Please help me to learn from
today so that I can better understand and respect the
people that you have placed into my life. Allow me

(01:38):
to love myself fully and deeply, just as you love
me in Jesus name. Amen. Thank you for listening to

(02:43):
Take a second to gather your thoughts and quiet your spirit.
Position yourself into a comfortable state. Close your eyes, then
take a couple of calming breaths. Now fix your attention

(03:06):
on what God has for you. This day. We will
be meditating on Philippians chapter four, verses eight through nine
from the King James version. Finally, Brethren, whatsoever things are true,

(03:28):
whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just? Whatsoever things
are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of
good report, If there be any virtue, and if there

(03:52):
be any praise, think on these things, those things which
ye have both learned and received and heard and seen
in me. Do and the God of Peace shall be

(04:13):
with you. Let us take time to adore God for
his grace. Lord, I praise you, for you are a
just and righteous God. I worship you for in your
presence there is peace. I adore you, for you have

(04:40):
created all that is lovely and good in this world.
I will bless your name and extol your great and
mighty deeds. Peaceful sleep is good sleep. You can control

(05:03):
the quality of your sleep through what you think on
before bed. The Bible says we are to be mindful
of the thoughts we harbor inside our heads. It tells
us to think of righteous things, things that are pure
and lovely, good things, in short, godly things. So if

(05:33):
you think godly thoughts, then God's peace will be with you.
In theory, this is great. In practicality, it can be
a difficult habit to acquire. Many things will vie for
your attention, personal goals and obligations, social media, the state

(05:57):
of current affairs in the world, and the uncertainty of
what tomorrow will bring. However, only God can guarantee peace.
Open your heart to the Holy Spirit, tell him of
your circumstances and confess your sins to him. Take a

(06:27):
moment to dwell on the peace of God in your
life and thank him for it. Father, I thank you
for your word is true and dependable. You provide calm
and tranquility in times of restlessness and agitation. God, I

(06:55):
thank you for relieving my troubled mind and reassuring my
heavy heart. Now think back to all the times God
has manifested his harmony in your life. Think how wonderful
it was to be cared for by God. To know

(07:16):
His presence soothes and satiates the soul. Thank God for
sustaining you in the past, and know he will do
so in the future. God is present and he is
listening to you. Reach out to Him through the power

(07:40):
of scripture. By thinking of and acting on God's word,
you draw his presence, and his presence manifests peacefulness. Stand
on the promise of His word and call out to
His Holy Spirit. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you

(08:04):
attract and foster tranquility in your life. Ask him to
fill your heart with heavenly desires, your thoughts with godly wisdom,
and your words with celestial purpose. Ask for His presence

(08:26):
to permeate your thoughts each and every night. Remember what
you think on before bed affects the quality of the
sleep you have. If you want peaceful and rejuvenating rest,

(08:47):
spend time with God before bed. Make time for Jesus,
read your Bible and pray. Spend time in God's presence
and watch him transform your life. Enjoy the sweet slumber

(09:11):
awaiting you in the arms of Christ. Thank you for
completing today's meditative prayer on pray dot com. By incorporating
this healthy habit as a daily practice, you are making
prayer a priority and strengthening your walk with God,
