(00:24):
Dear God, I invite you to fill my heart with
your presence to night. Remind me that I did my
best to day and that I have the power to

make to morrow a great day. Please help my mind
to be calm and open to your guidance. Father, Help
me to see the beauty in your grace and mercies,

(01:18):
so that I can understand the peace and joy which
comes from loving and trusting in you. I give my
heart to you for protection and strength. May you continue

To get the most out of your spiritual journey, use

(02:31):
pray dot com every day and make prayer a priority
in your life. Our goal for today's meditative prayer is
staying on track, slow down and take a minute to
gather yourself. Find a relaxed environment that will allow you
to ponder and reflect. Now, as you take captive every thought,

(02:58):
turn your focus towards God's word. Allow your spirit to
reach out to the presence of the Lord. Prepare your
heart to be filled with God's mighty presence, and open
your mind to receive His Holy Word. We will be
meditating on First Corinthians chapter six, Versus nineteen through twenty

(03:23):
from the King James version. Or do you not know
that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit
within you, whom you have from God. You are not
your own, for you were bought with the price. So
glorify God in your body. Let your worship rise up

(03:45):
to God. God. I praise you for gifting me with
your holy spirit. I give you my adoration, for only
you are just and righteous, goodness and grace are found
in you alone. I worship you for the gift of salvation,
for the price you paid for my soul. I extol you,

(04:09):
for you teach wisdom and love, and your ways are
righteous and true. Be careful of your actions. Know that
you belong to God and God lives in you. Your
body is to be sanctified, set apart, and not to
engage in sin. As God's Spirit indwells your body, you

(04:35):
are to be careful of where you go and what
you do. Your actions can draw you near to God
or take you far away from Him. Everything you do,
it is done before God. He sees all and suffers
through what we do that is against Him. When you
sow into your flesh, you reap destruction. When you sow

(05:01):
into the spirit, you reap life. God puts before you
life and death. It is in your hands to choose
what you want to live out. Christ paid a high
price for your soul, and God gave you free will
you choose whether you bring glory to God with your
body or not. Think for a moment on what is

(05:24):
currently being nurtured within you. Take this time to reach
out to God. Confess to the Holy Spirit all your
negative thoughts and emotions. Hand them to him. Now, consider
all of God's wisdom and thank him for it. Thank

(05:44):
the Lord for his word that never fails you. Thank
God that his teachings are for good, for the improvement
of your life and the life of those around you.
Thank Him for keeping your heart safe. Give thanks to
God for all the times in the past he made
you righteous. For those times he filled you with his

(06:05):
joy and truth. Never forget God is present and he
is listening to you. Come before Him and ask Him
to fill you with faith and wisdom to give you
the ability to lead a life of righteousness and truth.
Ask God to remove all folly and foolishness from your thoughts.

(06:29):
Ask him to guard your heart from arrogance and pride.
To help you to not walk in the flesh, but
according to his spirit. Ask the Holy Spirit to lead
you by his word to help you not be swayed
by ungodly desires. Remember you should know that your body

(06:50):
is a temple for the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit
is in you, for you have received the Holy Spirit
from God. You do not own yourself, for you were
bought by God for a price. So honor God with
your body. Make good choices concerning what you do and

(07:12):
where you go. Apply this principle to your life and
watch God's goodness be manifested in your life and in
your relationship with him. Thank you for completing today's meditative
prayer on pray dot com. By incorporating this healthy habit
as a daily practice, you are making prayer a priority,

and strengthening your walk with God must say the last,
