your hands tonight. I trust in you to keep watch
over me and guide me along the best path for
my life. Let your light shine upon me and provide

me with the strength needed to fight my battles. Remind
me that you are always by my side. Father, Allow

me to always trust in your power and protection. May
your love guide me into a peaceful slumber so that

to your meditative prayer on staying on track. To get
the most out of your spiritual journey, use pray dot

Our goal for today's meditative prayer is staying on track.

(02:49):
Take a moment to hide away in your secret place,
a place where you can turn off all distraction. Close
your eyes and take a couple of deep breaths. As
you shift your focus unto God's word, invite his Holy
Spirit to come have fellowship with you. Ready your heart

(03:12):
and open your mind to receive what God has prepared
for you. We will be meditating on First Corinthians, chapter ten,
verse thirteen from the King James version. There hath no
temptation taken you, but such as is common to man.
But God is faithful, who will not suffer you to

(03:35):
be tempted above that ye are able, but will with
the temptation also make a way to escape that ye
may be able to bear it. Take a moment to
pour out your adoration to God. Lord, I praise you
for your word is upright and eternal. Your ways are perfect,

(03:59):
and all your works are done in faithfulness. I extol you,
for you are a God of fidelity and consistency. Jesus,
you are the merciful God, gracious and righteous in all
your ways. Persevere, don't be manipulated nor deceived by your circumstances.

(04:27):
God will not let more than you can handle come
upon you. So no matter what it is that you
are going through. Keep going, No, you can overcome whatever
is before you. Don't give up. The Holy Spirit will
uphold you in your trials. You will not be overcome

(04:48):
by temptation when you submit yourself to Him. It is
not easy to stay hopeful in the midst of trying circumstances,
but you must rest in God's faithfulness. You have faith,
but the Bible says you also have need of endurance,
so that when you have done the will of God,

(05:09):
you can receive what He has promised. You don't miss
what God has for you because you swim the ocean
and drowned on the shore. Persevere, run the race set
before you until you reach your crown. Whatever hindrances are
in your heart, whatever doubts and negative thoughts are tempting

(05:31):
you to give in, confess them to God. Lay your
sins before him. Now, think for a minute on all
the blessings God bestows through perseverance. Think of the outcomes
Jesus has promised to those who endure all the blessings,
the joy and prosperity that righteousness brings. Think of past

(05:57):
situations where pressing on was a challenge for you, but
you persevered. Thank God, for the growth and learning that
came from those experiences. Thank Jesus for all his glory
manifested in your life through his righteousness. God is present

(06:17):
and he is listening to you. Be mindful that perseverance
is a necessity and a blessing. God never said endurance
would come easy, but he promised to help you every
step of the way. He sent the Holy Spirit to
enable you to succeed. So ask the Holy Spirit to

(06:40):
increase your faith so you may persevere. Ask him to
make you more like Jesus. Ask him to empower you
to live life the way Jesus did. Remember the only
temptations that you have are the temptations that everyone has.
But you can trust God. He will not let you

(07:02):
be tempted more than you can stand. But when you
are tempted, God will also give you a way to
escape that temptation. Then you will be able to stand it.
So be confident in the Lord's promise of deliverance. Live
your life according to God's word, persevere and righteousness, and

(07:26):
you will see God's grace manifested in your life. Thank
you for completing today's meditative prayer on pray dot com
by incorporating this healthy habit as a daily practice. You
are making prayer or priority and strengthening your walk with God.
