Speaker 1 (00:00):
Everybody. I have had a sensational revelation. As Bill Walton
would say, the mountains have moved, the trees in the
wind is blowing, And these thoughts have entered my mind
as I was high as a kite the Minnesota Vikings

(00:26):
and the twenty twenty four NFL draft. I have the answer.
The answer as an Alan Iverson for the Philadelphia seventy
six ers. This take is presented by Hoakland Farm. Check
out Hoakland Farm rotationally grazed on grass fed her Ford beef.

(00:50):
If you want great beef in your freezers, contact Jared
today at nine five two four nine one one five
four one. This is grass fed beef. They sell it
in quarters and halves and they have custom sample packs
so you can try before you buy. So contact Jared
at Oakland Farm, tell him you heard about this on

(01:13):
the Minnesota tim podcast and get twenty percent off your
first order. So, again, as I was saying, thoughts have
entered my mind, opinions have surfaced, and a take which

(01:34):
I believe to be true, is about to be said.
The Minnesota Viking should not attempt to draft Drake. May
I know I've said trade anything you can and more
to get Drake, may give up four first round picks
to get Jade and Daniels. I've been called on J. J. McCarthy,

(01:56):
Michael Pennix Junior. I'm not quite sold on him because
of this complete percentages, a little bit low, even though
he carried the Washington football team all the way to
the National championship. Cannon of an arm, lefty, beautiful football.
Just not sold on him. But this guy who's been around,

(02:19):
he's been at Pro Day's, he was at the Combine,
should be the next Minnesota Vikings starting quarterback. And his
name is bow Knicks. I do not understand why people
are so cold on bow Knicks when his statistics are

(02:40):
twice as good as J. J. McCarthy's. He've played at Oregon,
big deal, so did Justin Herbert. And Herbert is going
to be a top five quarterback in the NFL in
the next two or three years. Do we hold that
against Justin Herbert, No, we don't. He's going to be
coached by Jim Harbaugh and he's going to be a

(03:01):
top five quarterback in the NFL in the next two years.
He's already a top ten quarterback. If the Minnesota backingstraighted
two or three first round picks to get Justin Herbert.
I wouldn't be disappointed in that. In fact, I would
applaud that decision. So why are we so cold on
what bo Knicks can do for an NFL football team?

(03:24):
These are his numbers, and these are not fabricated. In
his final year at Oregon, he had forty three touchdowns
and three interceptions. His second to last year at Oregon,
he had twenty nine touchdowns and seven interceptions. Those numbers

(03:44):
are better than J. J. McCarthy's oh whoa, whoa, whoa.
But he transferred from Auburn, which player doesn't transfer in
college football these days? Or college basketball. Caleb Williams transferred
from Oklahoma to usc He followed his head coach, Lincoln

(04:05):
Riley there. Jalen Hurts he transferred from Alabama to Oklahoma.
I don't understand why we were holding so much against
bow Knicks as a top ten, top twenty quarterback selected

(04:27):
in this year's NFL draft. Why is his stock so low?
Why are there people that don't believe in bow Knicks?
When his numbers, his tape, his accuracy, his completion percentage,
his touchdown to interception ratio is way better than Drake

(04:51):
Mays and Jajon McCarthy's. I don't get it. He was
an Oregon quarterback, big deal, he put up numbers. He
played in the Pac twelve, Big deal, he put up numbers.
There's plenty of quarterbacks in college football that have success
in the NFL that don't play in the SEC or

(05:12):
Big Ten. There's plenty of those guys. So I just
don't get it. But anyways, my last take on this
whole thing and this whole stupid situation is April fools. Okay,
that was my April fool's joke for this day. That

(05:34):
was my April Fool's joke. I'm sure as you guys
are watching this podcast on YouTube or listening on appler
spot if you're probably thinking, what in the world is
this guy thinking? This guy's an idiot? And to be clear,
this is actually honestly, I don't know a whole lot
about bo Nix's game. His statistics are real or he
played is reel, you know, so some of my takes

(05:56):
were actually honest. With a transfer portal and Bonix being
one of those guys that transferred and his stats are real.
His complation percentage is real. I haven't watched Bonick's tape.
That was a lie. I don't watch his tape at Oregon.
I don't know what he did. But it is the

(06:19):
day of April Fools, and this brings me back to
a time when I was in college. I had a
crush on this high school girl at one point, and
I decided to ask her out on April Fool's Day,
because then that was the easy out right. I said,
you know, it's April Fool's Day. And so I got

(06:39):
up the courage to send out a text. And I
was a freshman in college at the time, and said, Hey,
would you be my girlfriend? And she said April Fools
And then I said no, but seriously, and she said no,
So shoot her. Shoot. And now I'm married to my
best friend, So shoot her, shoot, take your shot, do
what you gotta do. It's my April fool story. So

(07:02):
thank you for making this podcast a part of your day.
Thank you for watching and listening wherever you are watching
