Best friends Nicki & Bobbie learn to their horror that their local hangout spot and makeshift music venue, The Millenium Rink, is being demolished by none other than mega music mogul Dante Diamond. Along with their one fan, Liam, they hold a vigil for their soon-to-be lost roller skating rink, but when Nicki starts playing a magic guitar gifted to them by the Rink owner, Ben, she opens a time portal that catapults them back to the 90s.

She started this place in the fifties. It wasn't easy
to be a woman business owner them, but she made
it work. My grandpa was a traveling salesman selling soft
served ice cream machines. They settled down. Had my mom
mom had me. I grew up in this place. Oh man,

I'd love to have been here in the nineteen fifties.
It looks like so much fun. That box over there
has a bunch of old photographs from over the years.
Whoa so cool? Look at all this history. This is

has passed? Unfortunately, I would have had to do something
thirty years ago. You know, I did have the chance
to buy the building back in the nineties, but I

I'm getting a little money selling off the inventory, fixtures,
that kind of stuff. I only really know how to

run a rink, and I guess I didn't do right
by her. You're leaving all your sculptures here, no place
to put them. I only have space for about half
my tools, and I'd rather be able to keep making
stuff than just stare at these. That's really melancholy. I

How about wishing I could convince myself to buy this

survives this place, that I can still make it and
become a real musician, even without the rink. Sometimes when
I'm staying here, I wish my dad would notice me
