Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to Reasonably Shady, a production of The Black Effect
Podcast Network and iHeartRadio. Welcome to another episode of Reasonably Shady.
I am jasebe Bryant. What's up? What's up? Everyone? This
is Robin Dixon. Thank you for being here the house.

(00:27):
Get home. We're still here? Yes, oh my god. And
this is great. I feel good about it. You know
what month? It is? February. February that's when I come alive.
I know, is smiling, she looks brighter. This is February.
Just admit it. February is so much better than January. Yes,

(00:47):
because it's Black History Month. Okay, that's the only thing
that February got on. January's Black History Month. And we
are black and black black, black, black, and we are
proud and happy to be black. You know. You know
what black person? I want to give it up for today.
Who Who's that? Because last night I went to and
hopefully probably can look this up really quickly. I last

(01:08):
night I went to Alvin Aim and there was a gala. Okay,
so you know they fed us dinner, and then after
dinner we go into the Kennedy Center like into the
theater park and we watched the performance. Yes, so the
gala was celebrating what is there like an anniversary of milestone?

(01:31):
What is it? They have it every year and they
raised money. It's a fundraiser. I raised money for I
guess the dance theater or whatever. They raised one point
two million dollars last night. Damn. Yeah. I was like,
I didn't pay a dime. I kind of felt bad.
Like once I started reading like we raised one point
two million dollars, I was like, oh, so that didn't
get y'all good? All without me listen. I was invited,

(01:56):
Thank you, Lisa Wardell. She invited me. I sat. I
don't know if I said. I thought I was gonna
set at her table, but she never sat at the table,
so I don't know. It doesn't matter. He was there,
Oh nice, Yes, I was happy to see her. Did
you take a photo? We didn't take a photo. She
when I was coming in, she was leaving out to
get her tickets. Okay, because you need your ticket in
the theater, like you know, you know where to sit anyway,

(02:17):
So but I did you chat with her? I saw
our governor Nice Wes Moore was there, his wife Don
and Don was there, went and chatted with them, and
he's doing a fantastic job. And that is what I
told him. Great. Yeah, I gave him a big fat hug.
I told him he's doing fantastic job. And he was like, no, Josee,
we are I said, no, I'm not doing a god

(02:40):
right here, But as far as the state of Maryland
is concerned, you were doing a fantastic job. But I
love that because he knows that he's not his job.
He's not doing his job by himself. He has a
great cabinet support system whatever what Right. Yes, I did
tell him that. I love the fact that he said

(03:01):
he was going to do certain things and he's doing it. Yes,
that's all you want as a voter, for you to
believe in these freaking politicians. Yes, I told him he
has one more stop to make, okay, that is in
that White House, and he will make it. I believe
that's what he has his eyes on the prize. He
did not respond confirm, or didny, But I believe he
has his eyes on the prize. I did too. Yeah,

(03:24):
and he listened. He'd be amazing, right, He'd be amazing president.
He would be great. He's very Barack Obama ISHU. Yes,
just in the way that he engages with people makes
people feel and you know, of course that's not the
only thing we want in a leader, but I think
that just helps bring people together, and that's a start,

(03:44):
because that's what we need in this country. And we
loved on and it was a great old time that
he took a selfie and I moved on. I carrid.
I felt bad because they were sitting down eating and
I know how this is. They were sitting down eating
and I was like shit, and I said to him,
do not get up? Do not? Yeah, they jumped up,
gave me hugs, and then of course everybody's coming behind
me to talk to them. So I like, ruined it. Oh,

(04:06):
you started it. I opened the flood gates. Yes, And
so I felt horrible. You were one of them. And
he was like, deign't think about that food. I was like, okay,
but I just feel bad whatever anyway, because you know
I'm thinking about my food. Okay. Anyway, I went with
my my besty cow. So we want to shout out
Alvin Ailey, yes, who in nineteen something started the Dance

(04:32):
Theater of Harlem in Harlem, New York. I believe Alan
Elli is from Detroit. Did you make that up? I did.
Jason told me he was from He saw him in
Rochester and when Jason was a waight tour he waited
on him. Oh yeah, and he was an amazing guy.
Oh wow, how long ago? Was that? Very long time ago? Okay? Yeah,

(04:52):
and he's from Rochester, Texas. He's from Rogers, Texas. At
one point he was in Rochester, New York, and he
and Jason waited on it. Yes, go ahead, Okay, No,
I was I was just going to make up another
city he was from. I was gonna say he's from Baltimore.
He's not from Baltimore. So what all the greats and
amazing people are from Baltimore by the way, No they're not.

(05:14):
They are anyway. Alvin Ailey was a phenom. He did
amazing things, especially for the dance world. His like Revelations.
You know I'm talking about like, I don't know what
do you call it. Revelations is a theme is it's
a dance move, It's a dance style stuff. I don't know.

(05:37):
It's part of the every every Alvin Ailey show I've
ever seen. You see Revelations. It's a religious kind of
dance tribute and that will go down to history. It's amazing. Okay,
it's amazing. So so every Alvin Ali show they do,
revelations performed typically, Yes, they did it last night and
and it was fantastic. Alvin Ali, shout out to you,

(05:59):
and you are our premiere Black History Month persons reasonably
shady yes, Black History Month. Yes, and recognition of the
that plaque. We're gonna give Hi up blaque. I think
he's passed away. Yes, yeah, anyway, do you have a

(06:19):
shady moment? Okay, I do so Like this whole week
was a shady ass moment for me. Okay, because I
did a five day fast. Wait a minute, time out.
We were all together recently, all the cast, and so

(06:40):
Scheriica is gonna have us over, and Robin says in
the group text, I can't come. I'm fasted. Don't order
no food for me. I'm fast, right, don't count me
in your I was like, huh, okay, go ahead, okay.
That ship was misery, yes, Mi the re okay. So
it's so it's not like, Okay, for five days I
didn't eat anything, right, It's it's a fast mimicking diet

(07:04):
by a company called prolong p r O if you
want to look it up, p R O l O N.
And it's backed and based in science on and the
food or the I don't want to call that shit food.
The ship that you was, yes, the ship they have
you eating. It is like supposed to not trigger your

(07:26):
you know, you know, when you're fast. It's like all
about not triggering response. One time, I never did it again, Okay, okay,
So the diet is just to not trigger your insolentce response,
you know. So it's supposed to do fat burning and
weight loss and cell rejuvenation. I would anti aging or
you know, ag not anti aging, but you know, to

(07:48):
facilitate aging all of that type of stuff. Right, it
was just misery. So the first day was fine because
it's like the first day you're adapting to it, right.
I started on a Friday, and I did that intentionally
because I was like, okay, I can decide to not
do anything over the weekend but lay on the couch
and watch TV. Sleep. Did you get a headache? I

(08:08):
did a headaches. I was tired. So, like I started
at Friday. Friday was fine because you're just trying to
like figure out, you know, what to do. You're reading
the instructions, You're like, okay, I can do this, and
the and the food is soups, but they're like powdered soups.
So you put them in water, heat them up, and
then it turns into a soup. It's nasty pretty much,

(08:30):
not terrible. But anyway, first day was fine. Second day,
I laid on the couch all day. Third day, I
laid on the couch all day. That was Saturday, Sunday,
whole weekend miserable. Monday I was like, I can't take this.
I was gonna say, when did you stop? Yes, Monday,
I was like I did. I cannot wait. I was
counting down the hours to get through this fast. Okay,

(08:52):
so you were supposed to do it? How many days? Five? Oh? Shit? Five? Seeking? Okay,
I'm sorry. So Monday was horrible, Tuesday was horrible, and
then Wednesday was actually wait wait, I'm sorry. Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Okay,
Monday was horrible. Sunday Monday were horrible. Okay. Tuesday was

(09:14):
like the last day and it was like you almost
are just used to like not be dying. Yes, right,
And so that day was fine, but I was just
like the whole time, it was just straight misery. But
you by Tuesday, you knew it was about to come
to an end. Yes, so your mind was like telling you, okay,
you can handle this, right, like I'm almost here, I'm
almost here, I'm pushing through. I couldn't wait. It was

(09:36):
just I mean, that's just my shady moment, just the
fact that I decided to do this fast. The shit
was misery. The food was nasty, it was like so random.
It's like, you eat out it. Did you lose weight?
Did you think? So? This is the shady shit too, right.
So I ordered the fast a long time ago, like
a couple of months ago, and I was just always
trying to figure out a great time to do it.
So finally I was like, Okay, I'm gonna do it now.

(09:59):
But the the crazy part is, and they say you're
supposed to lose between five to ten pounds on this fast,
right right, the crazy part is, for whatever reason, I
gained four pounds. But no, no, no, not from the fast.
I gained it before I started the fast, So I
lost the weight that I gained, you know what I mean?
So you did lose from the fast. I lost, right,
but I'm back to like where I was. Listen a

(10:22):
few weeks. I wasted some chicken wings you didn't eat.
I was a waste of a whole lot. I know,
but I don't know why I gained weight. It's so weird.
I gained four good pounds out of the blue. Okay,
So I'm like back to zero. Make it make sense?
So would you recommend this? Okay? So I gotta weight.

(10:42):
I think the results aren't like immediate. So I lost
five pounds during the fast, right by the end of
the day five, I lost five pounds. But I think
you continue to lose weight. Oh okay, So I'll tell
you by like Sunday where I am. Okay, But I
don't understand how it works. It's like I'm back to
just eating like normal. How am I just not going

(11:04):
to gain all the way back? We'll see, We'll see.
Do tell in time. Yeah, but it clearly works as
a business. They've been in business for a while. People
do this all the time. They say, yeah, so it
has its benefits. I'm not not gonna go look it
up yourself if you want to look it up. But
that shit is hard, and I'm like I don't know
if I could do it again. Yeah, I'm not doing that.

(11:25):
I could do like one day, yeah, but I don't
know if I could do a good five days. That
was really hard and your mood change. You just start
cussing people for no reason. Yes, right, And it was
like I couldn't even be around Oh gosh, she's the
worst part. I couldn't even like be around my family, yeah,
because you know, they're eating, they're snacking, and I'm just like,
I can't do any of that. And then I made

(11:46):
it worse for some reason. I'm scrolling on Instagram and
I'm just stuck watching cooking videos. Oh my gosh videos
why I was torturing myself and I was just thinking
about all all the stuff I wanted to eat and
cook once I finished the fast. Not good. And now
you should see how many cooking content creators I follow

(12:10):
on Instagram. Okay, so my shady moment is very short.
So if you look outside, my car is not outside.
Oh shit, what happened? I have a loaner. Okay, I
told you. I think I told you so. I had
like a pebble mark in my window in my windshield
that over the cold days it spread. I was like,

(12:32):
all right, I'm going to get a new windshield. Went
to the dealership. He was like, we made an appointment, right,
so that means that you have to order the windshield.
So I brought it in on Tuesday. I still don't.
I texted him yesterday, which is Wednesday. Now put it

(12:55):
in the windshields like a day, like not even not
even like half a day. Texting him on Wednesday, like, dude,
where my car? I haven't talked to you now? Mind
you Chris who I gave a shout out, you have
to save these just don't work there no more? Oh no.
They moved me over to Charlie. Hi, Charlie. Oh no,
and nice guy. Nice guy. But I don't know if

(13:19):
he I don't know if I'm a priority to Charlie.
I don't know. Anyway, I said, Charlie, what's up with
my car? This is yesterday. He said, the windshiel's not
in yet. Well why is my car? Why do you
have an appointment? Thank you? Thank you? So then I
said if my if the windshield is not in, I'm

(13:39):
picking up my car. We're going to do this when
it's in. He didn't respond, how do you not respond.
So I went to the Alvin Aley last night minded
my business, didn't think about my car. This morning, on
my way here, I texted him. I said, Charlie, update please.
He was like, it should be done today. I don't
believe him, because why don't you call me? So we'll see.

(14:01):
But in the meantime, Charlie, Charlie, you are the shady momentum. Yeah,
the verdict is out on Charlotte. Yeah, the verdict is
all the way out now. I do want to give
So did it spread the pebble? Did it spread to
like your your vision? It didn't, But I just it
was just by their mouse, like me, just get this handle,
and I don't want to continue to spread. I just
was like, let me just hand us. I can't be
driving around, right, is it dirty? No, it's not dirty, raggedy.

(14:24):
I can't be driving around raggedy. By the way, my mother.
I was talking to my mother the other day and
she just was like telling me something she heard us
say on Reasonably Shady. Right. Oh, she was just like,
make a commentary about reasonably shady. So your mom listens
to all the episodes. So that's what I kind of
figured out when I got off the phone. Okay. So
then I was like, we talk about some crazy nonsense.

(14:47):
I don't think I want my mother to hear enough.
We might get to cancel all of a sudden, right,
So I decided I'm not cussing anymore. Reason we shaded.
Let me just get it all out now, shiita it?
Oh my god, god, damn, oh, just get it out.
Has she criticized you for corl No, she hasn't said

(15:09):
a word. She just you know, she was commenting on
something and it just made you realize she listened. I
was like, oh my gosh, she's really listening, like to
every episode. She probably listened to a whole one hundred
and twenty because that's my mama. That's what mama's doing. Well,
you can give her a prize. Oh, I could definitely
give my mother a price. Yet she actually wants every
single last one of your embellishment hats. But that's a
whole other story. Embellished hat. Yes, I'm saying bezzled. I

(15:37):
could not get that out of my mind when you
first started Bazel Anyway, I remember, sorry, Mama, it's so funny.
The other day I thought about randomly, it popped in
my head, and I was like, I remember yourself said
her mom wants some hats. Did I ever give them
to her? No? Okay, so mom, you now know it's
because of Robbins you didn't get your hats. And we're

(15:58):
gonna stop cussing. We don't try to stop pussing. Yeah,
I can't promise that. I'm shit. Damn. Yeah, we're done.
I do want to talk about Patreon. We have it
and subscribe anytime you feel like it. We also have
a YouTube channel, which Robin's handling. And I think you're

(16:20):
supposed to subscribe to to YouTube, but it's free. How
does YouTube work? Well? YouTube? Yeah, YouTube, I mean you
can subscribe and so when someone subscribes to your YouTube channel,
then they get an automatic notification that a new video
has been uploaded. Yes, but you don't. I mean, it
would be nice for you to subscribe, but you don't
have to. But you can just go visit our reasonably

(16:41):
shady YouTube page. I will say I'm a little slow
and up late loading episodes, so yeah, I gotta catch up.
But we'll be doing that, you know, or Carly will
be doing it. Somebody will do it. Yeah. I also
want to pay tribute to the Mothership. I was informed
recently by an exis that at Bravo that r H

(17:01):
O P is the mothership. So I don't know, anyway,
shout out to r h oh the mother like it's
it's the it's the main thing, like and then everything
else falls underneath the mothership. I don't know. She just
referred to as the mothership. I thought it was actually funny.
So anyway, shout out to the mothership. It comes to

(17:22):
r h OP. It comes on every Sunday at eight
o'clock on Bravo see television. Okay, so can we talk
to can we talk about jay Z? I've been like,
want to talk about jay Z for like a Grammy's happened,
y'all know that. Yeah, we saw some sorry we're a
little late, little late, Yeah, Grammy's already happened. We do.
We see some ridiculous outfits. Not really the outfits were tame.

(17:45):
They were all right. I mean it was like one
the Danny Kane Don Rochard from Danny Kane had like
a tree coming off her. So that was a little weird.
And then so so that was on the red carpet.
I was kind of wondering, did she but on in
the show, like, does she go into the theater and
sit with that thing on her shoulders? Well? Whoever behind me?
I was mad. I never saw her in the sitting

(18:08):
in the stands. Oh yeah, maybe they ask her to
her out. Your outfit is egregious. Anyway, let's get to
jay Z. So he gets an award Lifetime. It was
like a doctor dre lifetime something something award type of situation.
Well deserved, Yes, and he runs the Grammys down and

(18:30):
basically airs them out. Yes, in the most prolific prolific
is that a word prolific prolific way possible? I was like,
jay Z, look at you, sir, right, get it. He
kind of did what Kanye has been saying, but in
more of a like a classy, respectable way. Well that's

(18:52):
what people were saying, like, he just said what Kanye said,
But you didn't. Nobody listen to Kanye because Kanye crazy, right.
I don't wanna say it's crazy, but you know, Kanye
is Kanye. But Kanye walked on the stage in the
middle of Taylor Swift's acceptance speech and said, I'm sorry, Beyonce.
He had the hottest video. That's quite different right and
grabbed the mic out of her hand. Right, Yeah, nobody
gave you the mic. Kanye different but he but without

(19:15):
all the theatrics of a Kanye jay Z pretty much
said what Kanye and other people have been saying. Yeah years, yes,
so and you know, oh I'm sorry, which was he
pretty much criticized the Grammys for the for the people
who have not gotten certain awards, I e. His wife Beyonce.
It's like, how does she win thirty? You know, she

(19:37):
has the most Grammys in history but has never won
Album of the Year. Make that makes sense. Think about that,
the most Grammys never won Album of the Year. That
doesn't work. Some of you gonna go home tonight and
feel like you've been robbed. Some of you made it
rob Some of you don't belong in a category. Oh no, no, no, no, no, no, no,

(20:03):
not today. No. When I get nervous, I tell her truth.
And he just pointed out a lot of different discrepancies
and things that didn't make sense. I think it was
like he reflected back to his own experience with the Grammys.
He was nominated, but or I think he went for
rap or hip hop. He was nominated, but he didn't
go because some other damn not nominated, right, and he

(20:27):
just thought it was an injustice. So he's just speaking
out about the injustice of the Grammys and how they
distribute their awards and their nomination. Yes. And then Candy
jumped in and said that she used to be on
the Candy Burrs from Atlanta, which we'll talk about a second.
She said that she used to be on those committees
that made those decisions. Okay, and what does she say?

(20:49):
I can't, I don't know. I just read the headline,
but she said that. Anyway, moving on and personally, so
I'm curious if she agrees with jay Z or if
she more so it has a defense of of how
it goes down. Yeah, that's a good question. Yeah. And
personally I'm like, yeah, I'm gonna say something about my wife. Right,

(21:10):
give my wife her due. But did you see and
I didn't click on the video. I saw, you know,
a headline that said Beyonce's father placed blame on the
on the record the record Beyonce's record label for you know,
her her lack of whatever album of the year wins
or whatever. I didn't click on the video either because
I just couldn't get past Matthew's glasses that he was
wearing in that video, and I just was like, Matthew style,

(21:33):
just yeah, I know some behind the tee on Matthew.
I just we're gonna move on, okay, because we love
a Beyonce site. Yes we do. Okay. And then at
the game is killer Mike, you got arrested. Okay, now
you can see this. This is this is my interpretation
about what happened. Okay, it's not factual, okay, kind of.
So he was pulled to the side and asked to

(21:55):
give credentials to show that he had a ticket to
get in. Okay, he had just won for Rap Album
of the Year, right, first of all, why you gotta
show that? Okay, this this is not what happened. This
is what happened to me. A woman like tapped him
and was like, y'all, where's your where's your tickets and stuff?
To get in? Okay? I thought you just said you
were making this up. No, I just don't. I mean

(22:17):
I got this, like, you know, twelve hand. So he
was like, bitch, please, okay, I'm killing Mike. Right. The
first word in my name is killer, So I should
just come in because just packing that up anyway. He said,
you don't want to mess with me. My name killer Mike,
and I just won, right, okay, And she got offended

(22:42):
and called the police. Okay, and then they escorted him out. Okay, Yes,
that's a little stuff there. Thank you, Yeah, thank you.
I have been maybe two places and they've been like
they knew I was coming. Got to the got to
the ticket place and they was like, yeah, what's your name?
Who are you? Right? You don't have your ticket? You
can't get in what? First of all, you know who

(23:04):
I am, right, You know who I am because I'm
on the list. You're trying to act like you don't
know who I am because you're trying to exercise some
sort of pseudo power over me. Next time, I'm gonna
say I'm killing Mike. Kill it yourself. You kill it yourself.
Lock me up, yes, walk me out of here in handcuffs.
That was, but you know, regard whatever the situation was,
it was really kind of like it was a startling,

(23:28):
startling juxtaposition of just occurrences. He wins three Grammys before
the Grammy started, Rap Album of the Year and a
couple other things, and then it's juxtaposed to him being
walked out of the venue into the rain with handcuffs on,
and it's just like, make it makes sense, Like somewhere

(23:48):
is the somebody. Why couldn't someone, you know, maybe a
higher power have been like, whoa wait a minute, we're
not doing this, Like, well, supposedly he strangled the lady
and she is she is like charging him with so
crazy I don't even believe it. Okay, I think she's lying,
and I don't. I don't want to say I don't

(24:09):
believe this woman because that's wrong, but I just I'm like,
there's a million security guards at the Grammys. All of
that went down, right, somebody should have diffused the situation, Yes,
for sure, on both sides, whether it's his people yeah,
and the Grammy's people. Yeah, somebody should have defused the situation. Okay.
Speaking of Candy Burrs, she is, she has, she has

(24:31):
sat at the Grammy's that she is no longer coming
back to the Real Housewives of Atlanta. She has been,
she is. I think she's the longest standing housewife ever. Yeah,
fourteen years, fourteen series, fourteen seasons in a row. Well,
how many does Kyle have? How much I have. I
thought cal Kyle Richards from Beverly Hills, Kyle must have.

(24:55):
Are they on season sixteen? What season is this for them?
Let's say no, because Beverly Hills came after Atlanta, so
that might be right. They can but not long. Yeah,
all right, Beverly they're on thirteen another. Okay, so that's correct.
So Candy Barsky was the So Kyle has been on
for thirteen seasons. Yeah, Candy has been on for fourteen, right,

(25:18):
she did fourteen seasons. She's not an og right, she's
not an O. Came in Secony two season two. Okay, Yes,
Andy was on his radio show, and which Robin and
I have never been on, by the way, not that
we need to, but I mean, you know, but has
he have had any housewives on? Probably not? Not the
point because because if he has won, he's got to
have them all. That's his that's his rationale for a

(25:40):
lot of stuff that he does, and why he doesn't
have stuff on. Okay, yeah, all right, talent and it's fine,
we do we do enough for Sandy. Okay. So he
gave an eight minute tribute to Candy. Oh wow, eight minutes?
Do you know how long it is to talk for
eight minutes about one person about one person? Mind you
do you tribute? I listened to the whole thing, okay

(26:02):
and Well Deserved. So was it like scripted out? No,
he just starts talking off the top of his head. Yeah,
I don't think it's scripted. So was he like going
down memory lane? Yes? Like he was, like you know,
and then she for her first season she was engagedous
dude and he ended up dying. And then we have
Mama Joyce and Mama Joys hates DoD and God we
met through he was a part of production, you know,
like he did the whole thing, okay, Well Deserved. Can't

(26:25):
think about what Candy regardless of whether you liked it or
you didn't like. I think about what she brought to
that show, right, she did bring she did, Yeah a
lot to that show. She brought a lot. And I
would think in like fourteen years, you know, it's who
says it. Like people say like, oh, you're only as
good as your most recent episode or your most recent season.
But you can't ignore the whole body of work, right,

(26:49):
you know, correct, and how much that person has gone
through or how much they've shared or how much they've
evolved or experienced on the show. And when you think about, yeah,
all of that stuff, She's had a lot, and it's
been and it's been entertaining to watch. Yeah, and it's
always you know, of course, we respect anyone and everyone

(27:10):
that does what we do what we do. She will
definitely be missed. I do like her a lot. I
respect her hustle, I respect her work ethic. Listen, I
was watching Oh my God, it's so funny. I was
watching the show on shoot maybe it was Prime. It
was like the Snoop Dogg movie she was in that.

(27:31):
She was like the judge in the movie. It was
like Candy been popping up on every movie. She says.
She's worldwide. She is. She pops up all over the place.
Just keep watching TV. Candy has a role in everything.
I'm curious to see what she has coming up next,
because when she announced that she wasn't going to come
back for the season, she said, you know, she's just
had some really great opportunities putting her lap or sent

(27:55):
her way. So I'm excited to see what that is. Yeah,
and it's definite, And I can say this from behind
the scenes a little bit. Candy when the whole Black
Lives Matter situation happened, Candy was very much in Bravo's
face about what are you going to do to make
changes to represent the black community? Not just on camera,

(28:20):
behind the scenes, like why aren't we working with the
black production company? Why don't we have more black EPs
all across the board? Right, not just for the black shows,
like why can't black production companies run other franchises? So
I can say that, you know, Candy really really talks
to talk, walks to walk, and you know I appreciate her. Yeah, yeah,

(28:42):
So that was not eight minutes. And then that made
me think where eighties talked about her for eight minutes.
I was like, if I left tomorrow, what would happen
back in thirty seconds? Let's see. So, so Candy's been
on for fourteenth season since she got eight minutes, So
that's like two point two minutes first season, all right,

(29:05):
So let's say you get a good a good ten
seasons in right, Okay, so you'll get five minutes because
I don't even know if A has five minutes worth
of Jill commentary. But anyway, we love you, Candy, and
we give you the absolute best. Now can we talk
about the fact that Usher is taking his fifteen minutes

(29:28):
of the Grammys, and I mean of the super Bowl
and the halftime he said, Kim Gardashian, let me throw
some skims on and let me do a host a commercial. Right.
It looked good. Right, he looks good. I mean he's
represented for Stims. But like on the flip side, damn, Kim,
Like you got Usher represented Skims. Yeah, that's pretty big too.

(29:50):
So like what's like, what do you think is is
bigger Usher doing Skims or Skims doing having Usher? Do
you know what I'm saying? Like, is it bigger to
Usher or bigger to Skims? I think it's bigger. It's
a bigger deal to Skims Skims. Yeah, Like that's yeah,
Usher did them a solid, Yes, but they probably paid
Usher a really big batt Yeah. My name is us

(30:12):
h e R. Some call me URSA. What I do
is entertained. I'm wearing skims cotton boxes. I feel good.
He looks good. Yeah, he looks great, and it's in there,
in there. Piggybacking off of the Super Bowl attention that
he's going to have absolutely fantastic marketing. In addition to that,
he's going on tour. I sure is, yes, wearing skims.

(30:38):
Is he gonna just wear skims on his tour? I
want to see that he might. He might have a
little segment imagine like you know, he's standing and the
water's coming down and he has like his little skims
boxers on and no shirt and you know singing would
let it burn? You know, it's actually not the song.

(30:58):
But okay, what is it? I have no idea the song? Okay,
let it burn? Okay, Well, when we saw him in concert,
that was pretty much it. Like he that's what he did.
He didn't have he didn't have the water, but he
has a whole He was pretty covered up though. He
always had on something like that big jack goofy motorcycle
looking jacket. No, he took that off, remember, and he
did did the whole bad scene and he was having

(31:18):
tex with somebody. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah yes. But you
know we can't look at him the same way because
we know, listen, listen us your Raymond is doing the
damn thing and we love usher. Now do you speaking
to Kim? Do you think Kim and Odell Beckham are
really dating? I say no, I think so you do? Yeah,
because like why would that rumor just come out of

(31:39):
thin air? What where's the girlfriend, the fiance he's been
they've been broke up? Yeah, I didn't know broke up. Okay, Yeah,
I never looked at him as being really interested in women.
I'm not. No, no, no, And that doesn't mean you're gay
like that just means you just what do you mean? Why?
What do you mean? You've never looked at him as
being interested and women just because there's rumors about him

(32:03):
being gay. No, I've heard rumors. Okay, No, I'm not. No,
it's nothing. This has nothing to do with being gay
and liking men. This has to do with I've never
looked at him as Okay, let me say I said
it wrong. Let me say it this way, like a relationship. Yes,
he never never seems to be a relationship kind of
guy to me. Yes, and Kim is a relationship girl,

(32:26):
so yes. I think when Odell was younger, I wouldn't
have looked at him as a relationship kind of guy. Okay. However,
I think he's he's on the tail end of his career.
He's I don't know how old he is right now,
but I think he's at the age where it's like
he wants stability, something consistent. He wants Kim is attractive

(32:49):
to athletes, entertainers, men with a lot of money because
she has her own money, right, So he's probably tired
of dealing with birds and she can yes, Dolly wagg
oh right, girls that are out there just don't really
have anything going on, but they're just you know, Instagram models,
and so he probably looks at Kim as someone Okay,

(33:13):
I can I can chill with her, I can keep
her around. How But I think he's I think it's
just a matter of him just getting a little bit older,
and I think he wants to be what do you
think he wants to job back? Him is thirty one
years old. That's not all. It's not old, but I
think that's an age of an athlete who say he's

(33:33):
played in the NFL. Let's see how long has he
played in the NFL? Probably ten years. I'm looking at
lsua New York Giants twenty fourteen, so he's I was
right on the money, ten years. He's almost been in
the league for ten years. Ten years of you know,
just being the bachelor, the pro football bachelor, like going

(33:54):
what you want? That gets old. Absolutely, so I think
he's at the time where he's ready for a Kardashian dude. Right,
I'm here for it, right, Okay, all right, I approve. Yeah, okay,
so can we talk about your ring on your finger?
So Robin has a okay, Oh, so I'm at the

(34:16):
Alvin Aley thing. Yeah, I'm sitting next to this lady.
It's two ladies actually, and they're acting extremely weird. Okay.
They're asking me questions. I'm just like, gosh, guys, I
think you know the answers to these questions because not
because they're like you look familiar. No, they were like, so,
so everyone at the table was told who's at the table? Okay,

(34:38):
but me, like I was, so they were told that
I was going to be at the table. Okay, let
me just start there. So they're asking me questions like, so,
where do you live? I think you know where I live?
Are you local? Or are you did you fly in
for this? Stop? Stop this? I you know everything about me? Okay.
So anyway, they started, they asked me a random question

(35:02):
like what's the name of this ring that you have
on your fingers? Aura? Aura? They were like, do you
have an Aura ring? And I said do you know
what I said? I was like the ones that changed
the colors those rings back in the day, like a
mood ring. So I had all these rings and I
was like, no, none of these changed colors. So they
were like looking at me like this is a dumb bit.

(35:24):
So I said. So. Then finally, once they kind of
explained it a little bit, yeah, I understood they're talking about. Okay,
So I think one of these ladies maybe own the company.
Maybe maybe these ladies were like kind of big shit.
If she owned the company, she would know that you're
not wearing an aura. That's true, Okay, I think that
they are. The company is about to go public. Where

(35:47):
did you get that from? Outside trading? Black out a
jail for this? No, okay, this is okay. I don't
work for them. Okay, it's inside trading. I'm telling out
right now, go buy some stock, Go buy some orbi
Aura or go buy some Ara stock. You are a
oh you are a oh you are a yeah, go
buy some stuff because it's about to go public. Because
these ladies I was sitting next to at the table,

(36:08):
they was like they said to me, they were they
were talking to themselves. I started listening okay, like, yeah,
I can't wait to see what happens, right, Like yeah, okay,
profit is gonna be through the roof, Like yeah, it's
I'm telling you it was about to go public. Now listen,
all right, I'm gonna look that up. Does it work? So? Okay?
So the Aura ring is a ring that is like

(36:28):
a health tracker. You wear it on your finger. Yeah.
Itt tracts your sleep, habits attracts your activity. It tracks
it can track your I don't know, I don't other shit,
maybe your blood pressure and not maybe not, I don't
just a lot of different stuff. It's similar to what uh,
what's that thing called an Apple watch could do or

(36:50):
would do except for the sleep situation? Right? Does it?
Apple watch tracks your sleep? Okay? So you you is
an app? Is an app to it? There's an app? Okay? Yeah,
so I I bought it necessarily for the sleep part.
I think a lot of people do it for the
sleep thing, but I did it more for the activity
because I don't want an Apple Watch, but I do
want to know how many steps I take during the
day and all of that type of stuff. Okay, So

(37:11):
I don't want to have to carry like my phone
around to track my health, Like I just wanted to
be able to go on my walks and track that.
And as soon as they started talking about it, I
said to cal I was like, I think Robin is yeah,
because I meant to ask you about it, like the
last time I saw you. Yeah, because you typically don't
wear rings, right, Yeah, I don't wear a lot of jewelrys. Yeah.

(37:33):
So yeah, by your stock. As a matter of fact,
me by yours. Call me the last time I bought
stock of a company that justs was going public. You know,
I bought the stock and the shit has been down
ever since. You don't have good Intael, Robin. Yeah, like
I'm not doing that again. You did not have good intel. Okay,
So guys, we had a live show in Philadelphia, Yes,

(38:00):
and it was like it was it was great. It
was enjoyed Philly. Y'all were so super nice to us
in Philadelphia. And by the way, before we even get
to start talking about it, I do want to shout
out Carlee r d oh oh, because she didn't get
her shout out that night. No, she did not listen, guys.
Listen guys, and Carly told us she was like, y'all

(38:20):
didn't even thank me. I mean, I was working real
hard and you know, I bust the sweat and everything.
I got some feedback. She was like, you know, you
should have typed emailed your feedback. Okay, because she have emails,
so we say nothing about me, you know. But I said,
that's why we pay you a big buck, so we
don't have to thank you. Damn, that is to thank you,
right anyway, you got your money? Did you? Did you

(38:43):
get your money? She's giving us a finger right now, y'all. Anyway,
we love Carly. She did a great job. As a
matter of fact, this is the best job she's ever done,
because all the other ones were piss Yes, all the
other ones. I wanted to ring her neck. So anyway,
you know, Rob and I didn't have anything to worry about.
Carly handle everything. And Philly, y'all showed up and Philly

(39:04):
was great. I love the Philly love. Yes, Philly was great.
Shout out to the venue as well, City Winery. Yes,
everything was seamless as far as we know. And I
think it's as long as the talent feels things were
seamless and the guests feels that things were seamless, then
you have a win yes, so shout out to City
Winery as well. It was awesome. It was a Thursday night,

(39:27):
so thank you to everyone who came out on work night,
a week night, and you know, some people traveled. Philly
was awesome. We do have some emails from people who
wrote in yes we do, so we're going to read it.
And because we do plan on going to other cities. Yeah,
well we really actually are planning a tour. But for
whatever reason, Robin don't want to plan that tour. Y'all know,

(39:48):
Rob don't want to leave a house, so I don't.
I'm going to force her to plan the tour, guys,
like a real tour, Okay, yeah, one at a time,
one city at a time. No, that's not a tour.
That's just like that's just like when you've decided that fine,
you'll leave the house. It's actually not a tour. Okay,

(40:09):
we're planning a tour, Okay, Okay, anyway, I don't know
about that. Greetings. This is from miss Kelly. Greetings Green
Eyed Bandit's my name is Kelly, and I had the
best time at your live show in Philly. I'm so
glad I made the trip from Baltimore. Oh that's nice.
Shout out to see my favorite girls. Shout out Baltimore.
Because everyone great came from Baltimore. Yes, everyone, that's not true,

(40:33):
but anyway true. But I didn't come from Baltimore, and
I'm great. You spent a few days in Baltimore. I did.
I felt years eight years exactly. So there you haven't
AnyWho I had. She says, I have to share some
reasonably shady moments, which actually took place at the live show.
My seat was great. I sat among really cool ladies,

(40:53):
but there was a table that was behind me who
This group talked the entire time and tried to heckle
by out in rude comments. I didn't hear that. Did
you hear a hackle? No? Oh Carly heard it, Carl.
What were they saying? They were like, they were like,
we want to ask about I was like, oh, they
could have asked. They could have asked what they wanted

(41:14):
to like they had already had been on ten and
it was not constructing. It wasn't constructive. We need constructive.
It was nastiness. Okay, so Kelly. So Carly says, they
were they were, they had shady questions. They asked shady questions. Okay, anyway,
So then she says the girls they want they wanted
to ask if Monique was coming back. That's so what

(41:36):
she's saying. Remember towards the end, the lady scream when
they coming back. I didn't she wasn't re handed the microphone.
I don't remember. I remember that. Okay. And by the way,
we don't we have no idea. We have no idea.
We don't hire, we don't find it. You do remember that,
because that's exactly what you said. That's what I said. Yes,
I don't remember, like like where she was sitting or

(41:57):
I do. Okay, anyway, they were doing too much, way
too much. It was becoming annoying. Next time, I'm purchasing
a meet and greet ticket so I don't have to
hear the nonsense. I can't wait to see you girls
get keep putting out great podcasts episodes. Been a fan
since day one. Best regards, Kelly. I like that, Yes, awesome. Yes,
the people who purchased the VIP meet and greet experience, yeah,

(42:21):
I think it's and I think we have some more
to read. It's definitely worth the money because you sit
up front. I'm like, look, I'm not trying to get
your money. I'm just telling you. Rob's explain to you
why we need to get your money. Okay, I'll just
tell you why. Okay, because you sit up front, Yes,
of course you do the meet and greet with us.

(42:44):
But these people who and these people who sit together,
they like become friends. They do. They get to know
each other. They're like taking pictures with one another. They're
following each other on Instagram. It's like they form their
own own little community because they shared that experience together
sitting up club. So but I do think it probably
is a really great experience. So and no, you didn't

(43:05):
tell them the best part. So like after we take
the pictures, we have like a little oh yes it's personal. Yeah,
we like chit chat with them. Yes, So we take
pictures and then we sit down in the room with them.
It's just, you know, whatever, small group of people, not
a small you know, nice nice size with small group
of people, and we allow them to ask questions and
a lot of them are questions that we probably aren't
supposed to be answering. But we make sure all the

(43:27):
phones are away and all that type of stuff, and
they have a good experience. So they really get some
good one on one time with us. It's not just oh,
take a picture and then roll at sid like. They
really get a good experience with us. Yeah. So yeah,
she needs to change her seat to the front. Yeah,
and I thought this, never mind, We're gonna move on. Okay,
So here we have another one. Hey, y'all, this is

(43:49):
from Jay Jones. Dear Robin and Giselle. I had a
pleasure to the meet and greet with y'all and Philly.
I'm a proud gunkle and father. How can you be
a gun call and a father? Yeah, gunkle and father,
gay uncle and father? Right, yeah, okay, got it. And
it was fun to sneak out on a school night
with my niece. Yes, yes, yes, okay. I drove down

(44:11):
from Norst, Jersey to see you and had a great time.
Expectations were not high, simply because I had no idea
what to expect. Should I is that offensive? Should I
be offended that he was? Like I was coming to
the show with my expectations in the trash can No.
I think that's realistic. Okay, I think that's realistic, and
I think that's how I approached so many things because
you don't want to be disappointed. That's true, he said. However,

(44:33):
I would highly recommend the experience to any reason. Be shades,
stir and look forward to a future opportunity. You both
are charming, entertaining and beautiful. The addition of miss Darby
was a great surprise. We forgot to mention car. Yes, yes,
Ashley was in the building. Ashley was in the building.
Ashley made a stop. She was in New York. She
did watch What Weappins Live, Yeah, earlier in the week,

(44:56):
and a pre tape of watch What We Happins Live
earlier in the week, and she said, oh, well, I'm
gonna stop in Philly on the way home and go
to the show. Yes, Like, how amazing is that? Yeah?
That was really special. And we brought her on stage
and asked her some shady questions. Yes, we had a
segment called Dishing with Darby because she came through. And
then I talked to her yesterday and she was like,
they she wants first of all, you know how Ashley is, y'all,

(45:20):
she always wants to hang out after hours. Yes, and
me and Robin actually went home. Yes, we drove home
the Philly show and I was like, actually, I'm not
hanging out with you because I know this is the
four o'clock in the morning thing. But and she was like,
but according to the locals, Thursday, because the show's on
a Thursday. Y. Yeah, Thursday is the new Friday. Yes,
And so she was like, I don't know what's happening.

(45:41):
I don't know where we're going. We're just going out.
So the recap to that is they ran into some people,
who ran into some people, who ran into some people,
and it was a four am in the morning. And
she said they had the time of their lives. Are
you serious? One? And she was there with her hairstylist, Corey,
and they loved to just hang out and party. Actually
this great. I'm happy to hear that. Yeah, that she

(46:04):
enjoyed her experience and Pillion, yeah, okay, I'm not finished
with the letter. Okay, So he's Ja Jones says, I'm
a patreonor And I have to say Gizelle was a
little crisp on the Zoom call I attended. Wasn't sure
if I would enjoy her in person, but I did.
I have never heard that word crisp is a new

(46:25):
way of saying cold, cold cat Okay, cold, crisp cold.
I like that, Jay Jones, I like that Robin Kind
has a kind demeanor. Yes, she does, and always seems
to come across as such, if you need a big
gay brother, I am available, all right, how you get
the big gay brother? And I'm just I think he's
saying both of us, both of us? Yeah, he said,

(46:46):
fun show she being crisp, got a chance to ask
you a question, And next time I'll share my reasonably
shady situation and have y'all break it down. Look forward
to seeing you again. You make my mondays ps. Even
the ga the gay boys don't want to be Jizzy's
Jizzy's Oh yeah, because yeahzz we're trying to figure you know,

(47:07):
and trying to figure out Gizelle's fan club name. Yeah,
he says, g Squad. Okay, should be the name. Yes so,
because Jizz's is too close to no to the jizz
that comes out the penis. Okay, okay, yeah, all right,
So even the gay boys don't want to be called Jesus. Yes,
so it's the squad. It's yeah, we gotta say like that,

(47:30):
Gee Squad. Okay, all right, y'all, I've got one more
so I got to shout out our boy, Mohammed. You guys,
I've heard us talk about Mohammed. Mohammad drove all the
way from Toronto. What kind of drive is that to
a Philly He said it was seven hours, but I
believe it's a little bit more than that. But he said,

(47:50):
he said seven hours. He made it through the immigration line.
He didn't get stopped. He made it through Okay, through customs, customs, Yeah,
sure it did. But yeah, I mean, that's so amazing.
And by the way, this is Mohammed's second live show
that he's gone to. That is and it's our sidetrack.

(48:11):
There were so many second timers or third timers at
our show, people who have seen us multiple times, which
means a lot. That means they enjoyed their first experience,
their second experience, and they wanted another one, which is
big time. So anyway, Mohammad came to the show. He says, Hi,
Jazella Robbin, it's your favorite person from Toronto. The live
show was amazing. You ladies not only put on an

(48:33):
amazing show, but you made sure people felt special and recognized.
The segments were funny and engaging, and the whole experience
was if we were all there with you guys while
you were recording an actual episode. The amount of audience participation,
it genuinely felt like we were all of your all gosh,
what the hell is wrong with me? It genuinely felt

(48:53):
like we were all your co hosts that fasting you doing.
There's no commas in here. Have past things affected your brain?
But go ahead. But the best part of the meeting
and connecting with so what's connecting with so many people
who all have a shared love for the both of you.
It was also nice to meet some of the reasonably
shady bunch in person after seeing them on Zoom. Thank

(49:15):
you so much for making my night so special and
making my seven and a half hour drive worth every minute.
Oh my only ask is please don't make me wait
over a year for your next live show. Love both
of you. Mohamed from Toronto. Mohammed, we're working all riving right, Yes, Mohammed,
I so so I just want to throw out we
should do a poll. Okay, these are the cities I
think we've said we don't need a pole. We do

(49:36):
need a poll. My time, I can't be spreading myself
all over the country Okay, yes she can. I can't.
For a reason we chased her. She got kids and
couches attend to Okay, Okay, we understand that you have
a couch with your name on it. Okay, but every
now and again, the couch need you to leave. Yes,

(49:58):
I know, I know, Okay, but but this is the
I want to know the next city we should go to.
And these are my three that I want to go to. Okay,
number one, La, Yes, Houston, Yes, Chicago. Yes. So we
need a poll because I need to know what's going
to be the next one. Oh okay, So they need
to write in. We're going to put a pole up.

(50:18):
We're going up. Where should we go next? La? Houston
or Shattown? Yeah, I'm here for all right. We got
to get out of here because you probably have to
eat since you haven't done that in a very long time,
and we want to remind you to live your life
either reasonable lord, Sure, dude, We're bold Ye bye. Reasonably
