Speaker 2 (01:24):
This is a podcast call twenty five West Stocking punt
ball and they aware room whizz.
Speaker 3 (01:30):
So yeah, it's too bad, but wasn't you expect It's
a podcast call twenty five whistles, twenty wine, Hey welcome.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
I had a rotten weekend in every form h Arkansas
losing wasn't just the losses, terrible losses is complete disaster.
And then my Oregon bet. I lost three thousand dollars
in an Oregon bet.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
Oh, it's terrible. I made.
Speaker 1 (01:54):
I had a net plus weekend, but that was my
biggest bet. I hit Arkansas plus ten for two thousand,
and I hit the Cowboys. I bet them plus two
and a half for two thousand. So I made it.
But the bet that I told everybody would win, I was.
It was a bad loss. Somebody messed with me. Was like,
I bet money and I lost, and my husband's irritated.
So I just paid them back. I'm ben't. No, I'm
not doing anymore because once I always once I let
(02:16):
that cat out of the back, I don't do anymore.
It was like when I was doing the teacher lists.
Once I admitted I had done a few, I wasn't
doing anymore because then one hundred thousand come at you.
But it's a brutal weekend for me. It's a brutal weekend.
I've never once in the history of my online or
so or being somewhat known, been like that the coach
has lost the game. I've never said that because it's
(02:37):
like there's so many things that can go wrong. The
coach has lost the arkansall game and because it wasn't
just a single person or a single area that failed.
I might have been thirty seconds and that's it.
Speaker 3 (02:47):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
It was drop punts, it was time management, it was penalties,
it was there was like five different areas all in
the span of like twelve minutes. And that is a
coaching culture that is not a player messed up here
or there. We do We dominated Oklahoma State. I was
(03:07):
getting text people going, yeah, good for you. You're gonna kill it.
Tommy Chuck text me. I didn't respond. I'm not even
gonna read it. And then when we lost the game,
I'll let him have it and he goes, you're right,
I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that. He goes, he
you guys looking great.
Speaker 3 (03:22):
I never have been there. Never.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
I thought about it for a half second.
Speaker 3 (03:26):
Don't ever do it because I.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
Will blame you for the laws. But I did tweet.
This was an absolute coaching failure because it wasn't just
like a fumble, a punt, drop, penalty, uh, time management thing,
what are we doing fourth?
Speaker 4 (03:40):
Now?
Speaker 1 (03:40):
It was all of that and a quick span. And
that's not any individual's fault. That's not having them ready Yeah,
that's that's a that's a coaching and I don't think
we should change coaches. But it was a bad It
was the worst I have felt in years. And we've
had worse seasons and wor worst defeats. There's the worst
of I said on the show this more. It's the
only time I ever thought about it. I'm not giving
(04:01):
me more money.
Speaker 3 (04:03):
I didn't. I didn't.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
I'm still there. But that's the only time I ever
felt like that, where it's like, if this is what
it's gonna be, I'm not giving them any more money
because I give him a lot of money. So and
we just talking about that with coach light bulb. Yeah,
but I'm still pissed. That's all I'm done. But that
was my weekend. And then I was like, at least
Organs made a lot of money and then they barely
beat Boise, but hey, too much access to a no
(04:27):
so far this season, let's go Yeah, Kansas lost. Yeah,
but that wasn't too much access.
Speaker 3 (04:35):
That was no.
Speaker 1 (04:35):
I know that was on the show. Yeah, But like
coach Leipold, I like him a lot. Yeah, and I
was rooting for him. And then Illinois beat him, but
Illinois played pretty good. Yeah, you know its gonna be tough. Yeah,
Notre Dame got beat. Oh my god, that's hilarious. I mean,
number five team playing Northern Illinois and Notre Dame. I
pulled the clip of the school call that or like
(04:58):
the local It feels like a college gets just a
small town. Yeah. So here's the NIU broadcast because Notre
Dame had a trying to kick a field goal at
the very end of the game. Okay, here we go.
He's lining it up five seconds left.
Speaker 3 (05:12):
Then I you up sixteen fourteen sixty two yarder. Snap
hoole Jeters kick this fuck. It's fucked. It's fucked.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
Big up by yea you big up. Bye. Huskies who
done it?
Speaker 2 (05:26):
Buskies with the biggest upset and au this street.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
They come to South in Indiana.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
And they knock off the number five team in the country.
N i U sixteen Notre Dame fourteen the football guns,
we're shining downy awesome.
Speaker 1 (05:46):
It gives me chills because I know being a school
like that going in you're playing the number five team
in the country, much less Notre.
Speaker 3 (05:52):
Dame, and.
Speaker 1 (05:55):
At again at the end when you know, okay, it's
probably not gonna work out. We played really well, but
they have an opportunity to win, so they're gonna win.
You're kind of waiting for it, of course. Yeah yeah,
so was I freaking game. But that was awesome.
Speaker 3 (06:07):
And I love your money, with your money, I mean no.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
I'm talking about Arkansas though, Okay, I'm staying, gotcha. What
was funny about this was, first of all, shout out
and I either coach was at he went to school there,
and he.
Speaker 3 (06:17):
Went to school at Notre Dame, No n IU okay.
Speaker 1 (06:20):
And he was crying in the postgame. It was awesome
to see because he was like, this is my dream job.
And so and I last week was talking about Notre
Dame's coach. I still love him. Yeah, he's awesome, but
they're done now.
Speaker 3 (06:31):
What was the Northern Illinois coach the one tell I
think they showed his like pregame speech and he was
telling him like, we're not playing a logo, We're playing
the man right in front of you. I didn't see that,
which I thought was really cool when he said that, Like,
don't go into this game thinking you're playing this big school.
You're playing the man in front of you and you're
just trying to beat that one person and if you
do that, we can win this game.
Speaker 1 (06:52):
It sounds like a pretty common speech, though if I got
that one, I've never heard that one. I'm looking back now,
it looks cool.
Speaker 3 (06:57):
Yeah, I'm sure you said all the time.
Speaker 1 (07:00):
Yeah that was It's pretty awesome though. Yeah, there are
a lot of upsets. I was just gonna read this text.
I sent Caitlyn's dad. So he is an OU fan Diehard,
and he texts me great start when the game started.
Oh no, So he says, great start, and I say,
let's pump the breaks. I send him I mean, let's
(07:22):
pump the breaks and he goes, oh, sorry, I'll refrain
from any positive comments till the game is over. And
then he says I'll miss the second half because he
had to go and babysit his grandson. Whither And I said,
this is exactly what I said to him, and I
post this on my social media. I said, okay, well
you can't watch the second half. I'm going to give
a look into the future. What's going to happen? I said,
quote this is what I'll be saying in about two hours.
Speaker 3 (07:43):
Dang.
Speaker 1 (07:43):
They ended up running away with it in the fourth quarter.
Oh well, classic Arkansas, I'll lose it like that, and
then what happens? We freaking lose it in the fourth
quarter and then get beaten overtime. That's crazy, you called it,
And then I sent it back to him. I said,
just making sure you saw this, and he knew not
to respond even that when you.
Speaker 3 (08:00):
Sent that, were you being sarcastic? No? Or were you
or were you hoping you're riding this to do the
reverse ch It's not even reverse chinks. This happened. This
happens every time I get that.
Speaker 1 (08:10):
It's happened so many times that that's the expectation, and
when it doesn't happen, you're like, wow, I can't believe
we won. That I'm the loser, and I put the
statement out I'm a loser. I'm a big loser when
it comes to sports. I'll be a loser. I'll never
not be a loser. And why I let it affect
me so much, that's on me. That's my fault. I'm
still pissed. I was, and I promised myself this season
(08:33):
I was not gonna let I was not gonna live
and die, and I did. If we'd got beat thirty
to two, got lucky with one safety. I'd have been like, well,
that sucks. Look like we're gonna suck again. Hopefully we
get better as the season goes. I would have liked
that better.
Speaker 3 (08:44):
Than what happened here.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
A little string of hope. It was a not even
a string of hope. It was a full like boat
towing rope of hope because we were dominating that. We
dominated every stat every stat we dominated them. It's oh
my god, double overtime, double overtime, and none of that.
They wouldn't have scored the second overtime had our linebacker
and I picked the dude up and slammed him and
(09:06):
got a penalty for unsports and light conduct. Everything we
did we were not coached. Well I'm not and again
hopefully when we get coached better. Bobby Petrino's the man,
and Taylor Green was great. That quarterback was Goody's great.
He threw a pick but he got hit and the
ball went up. But it was just it was bad anyway,
Like I'm so pisstill right now?
Speaker 3 (09:30):
Sorry, man, that's all right?
Speaker 1 (09:32):
Kevin won?
Speaker 3 (09:33):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (09:33):
What the what was that?
Speaker 3 (09:35):
Yeah? Do you want to win?
Speaker 2 (09:36):
Though?
Speaker 1 (09:37):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (09:38):
I like it, but I'm gonna take it while I
can't because they're not gonna come very often this year,
so right now I'm gonna enjoy it. If we keep
winning and it's week eight, then I'm like, oh, guys,
let's let's we need to tackle if you.
Speaker 3 (09:47):
Want to early.
Speaker 1 (09:48):
And I agree, it's gonna be hard for me to
root against. However, and it was a good win. I
mean they beat three and Bengals. Yeah, I watched it
pretty much the whole game. Yeah, but it's that weird
and it's different than college because in college, you lose
a bunch, you just don't go to a bowl game
and then you don't get recruits. In the NFL, if
you lose, you get a better pick, and if you're
(10:09):
gonna lose, you might as like the NBA, don't don't
be mid either, lose all and hope you get a
good bab We'll hope you get a good ball or
win all because if you go on as like eight.
So I'm glad you won. I was happy for you,
thank you, but I was like, man, after watching how
bad Carolina played, Oh my gosh, I was like, I
want the number one pick if I'm Kevin, I don't
(10:31):
want to win that much. You just take this as
a unless for some reason, you guys can win twelve
or thirteen games. Yeah, getting playoffs? Yeah, playoff contention. Is
that a possibility? I guess is my question in your mind? No?
Speaker 6 (10:43):
Okay, now, especially the division. I mean, we'll see what
the Jets do tonight. But they all won yesterday. They're
all good teams, you know, the Bills, Dolphins, Patriots, and
we'll see what the Jets want.
Speaker 1 (10:52):
To put the Patriots. I was happy. You want, I
want to know.
Speaker 6 (10:55):
I'll take it because next week might be a completely
different story. Yeah, so I'm gonna ride it like you
get to that next week. Seahawks.
Speaker 1 (11:02):
Yeah, you'll probably lose that, but you probably would have
lost this one too. So exactly, biggest, biggest upset.
Speaker 3 (11:07):
Sweet headed pie, show my mouth, Alabama, Yeah, spread wise.
Speaker 5 (11:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (11:11):
I was happy for you, thank you, And I was
happy for anybody I hate. I was pissed all weekend.
And it would have been cool if like all the
teams won.
Speaker 5 (11:19):
All of our teams.
Speaker 1 (11:20):
Yeah I did. The Cowboys did win, which is great.
Speaker 3 (11:22):
Is a great victory. Oh, it was a great win, dude,
I kind.
Speaker 1 (11:25):
Of believe they were what I I logged on at
the beginning of the game of DraftKings and they were
plus two point five, and I was like, I know
they're in Cleveland, but I'm not gonna not take some
of that action. And that Oregon loss was so kind
of hurt nice chasing a little bit. So I was
woted to put two thousand bucks on it and go.
I put two one thousand dollars bets on it. So
(11:46):
if I was going to cash out, it was feeling
pretty good. So I did that. I cashed out for
like eighteen thirty on one and then won the second
one fully.
Speaker 3 (11:56):
But it looks solid. Yeah, it looks good. I like
what I saw. The defense again, it was really really,
really good. But again just reminded me of last year
because that's exactly how we started. Our defense was so good,
we had a few picks, and our offense was decent
but not as good as we wanted to be. And
I kind of felt that this time around, too, like
our offense started explosive. If we can get the ball
(12:18):
to Ceede Lamb, it was.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
Good, I bracket on the whole game, but.
Speaker 5 (12:22):
If we couldn't get the ball to him, we were
kind of in trouble.
Speaker 1 (12:24):
Well, Brandy Cook's had a touchdown. He's going to have
to be something. Yeah, but I'll say, Zeke look better
than I thought he would.
Speaker 3 (12:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (12:31):
I mean Zeke's also not fifty. Feels like he's fifty
just around forever, right, But I mean, if they could
get some production out of Zeke. But every contract, well
those two contracts are signed. I mean Parsons will come,
that's next. Yeah, but it's not like it's not like
they have to do it right now.
Speaker 5 (12:45):
Yeah yeah, yeah, but.
Speaker 6 (12:47):
Did you guys watch the game like with sound and everything?
Of course the Brady is what I'm asking. Oh, Brady's
first game.
Speaker 1 (12:53):
Yeah it was tough. Yeah, two things. I'm it's tough.
It wasn't that good, but that's okay. It's this is
the first game, so I didn't really expect it to
be that good. It wasn't that good, But that wasn't
my main takeaway. The main takeaway is when I don't
see him, or if I don't know it's Tom Brady,
he kind of sounds like a nerd.
Speaker 3 (13:12):
He sounds like a big nerd. It kind of sounds
like what I would sound like if I were doing.
Speaker 1 (13:16):
If you didn't know it's Tom Brady, you were like,
just judge this person's voice. It would be like, that's
not one of the elite football players in my life.
Speaker 3 (13:25):
That's fair, which I like, That's what I liked about
the whole thing, Like for once the goat isn't really
good at something.
Speaker 5 (13:30):
He will he will probably be good eventually, but.
Speaker 3 (13:32):
You know, for the first time around, like this is cool,
we normalized him a little bit.
Speaker 1 (13:35):
Yeah, and I didn't want to go tom Brady sucked
because I saw the internet. Really, given he should have
not been that good as first time. They probably should
have not put him on the Cowboys three pm game,
the big They could have easily put their number one
team on a really good game in that first block.
Speaker 3 (13:51):
Just but again he's Minnesota on the Panthers.
Speaker 1 (14:00):
But yeah, I know, my big takeaway was not that
he wasn't good, because I think he will get better.
Does he kind of his voice? They need to put
more they needed base. They need to go and they
need to have an engineer. Ye put the lows up there,
go in and make his voice deeper, because you can
do that without actually affecting the voice. You just you
just make the lows lower. They do that to us,
(14:21):
that's what we do in yes, Yeah, because he just
sounds like a nerd. His voice sounds like a nerd. Yeah,
but what I liked about it and he'll have to
fix it.
Speaker 3 (14:28):
He'll go back.
Speaker 1 (14:29):
I'm sure he's watching watch killing them today.
Speaker 3 (14:31):
Oh yes, he would say that.
Speaker 1 (14:34):
I said that. Yeah, he's doing that as the game's going.
Like I felt that because I do that too. Yeah,
Like he can't be a fan, like you can't be
a family. Oh oh no, you can't do that. He's
a tough week one for him. Yeah, that's okay.
Speaker 3 (14:46):
It makes you realize how good, Like you know, what's
who's the Panthers tight end? Who was who?
Speaker 1 (14:51):
That's who was the big winner yesterday? Yeah, because the
entire internet was like, we like justice for he was awesome. Yeah,
and he was actually very classy when he got the
job taken away from him, Like he did a ton
of interviews and he's like, you know what, it's Tom Brady.
It sucks. He was like, yeah, it sucks, but I'm
gonna do my job. I want second team now. He
(15:13):
did the Super Bowl right in the Super.
Speaker 6 (15:15):
Bowl, I think nance Fox, maybe I think maybe it
was Fox.
Speaker 1 (15:20):
They also into the super Bowl last year, and then
gets like he did I do too?
Speaker 3 (15:24):
Then I feel like then he was then regulated. Yeah
it was great. Yeah I thought so. I thought that,
But but he got deregulated because for Tom Brady, that's it,
that's it. I don't think anyone else could have done that.
Speaker 1 (15:38):
And then what did he do the did you do
the Panthers game? He did a Steelers falcon That's what
it was.
Speaker 3 (15:42):
Yeah, that's a disaster game to just six, but also
to like Tom didn't know what to say it Yeah,
which is weird, Like you talk all the I mean
you know that.
Speaker 1 (15:52):
I don't think it's he doesn't know what to say.
There is definitely a it's a relationship with you and
the you and the play by play guy. He sometimes
you don't know when to talk or if they're gonna talk,
and you definitely don't want to step on each other.
And so it's very much like if you're gonna make
up make a show like an Afternoon Joe or a
(16:13):
sports radio show, a two people that have never really
worked together, there's it's like a dance. You got to
learn when other people I would say it's like us
on stage. You know, when I'm making little movements where
I'm about to go, if I'm taking a breath, you
know when to take the All of that happens with
your partner.
Speaker 5 (16:28):
But stop talking right now. That's what the game's sounded like.
Speaker 3 (16:32):
I know what we re quiet.
Speaker 1 (16:33):
For ten seconds?
Speaker 3 (16:35):
Why is he not talking here?
Speaker 1 (16:37):
But I would say that's what that was. They'm just
not understanding how to work together.
Speaker 5 (16:43):
Yet He's gonna get better.
Speaker 1 (16:45):
He absolutely will. Yeah, and i'd put more in his mind.
He kind of sounds like this, yeah, good, but he
will be great all right. Time for the Tittle Tattle.
Speaker 3 (16:54):
Let's go for years.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
His name ever, the tittle Tattle.
Speaker 6 (17:03):
In honor of Red Zone being back. What is the
longest you think you could host a radio station without
taking a break?
Speaker 1 (17:09):
Whoa, But here's what I'll say about Red Zone. There
there are breaks because he just throws in the game,
just goes for a couple of minutes a little bit. Yeah, no,
they switch but I mean yeah, but it's not like
he's just going for eight hours. He can pee he
needs to, he says, he does it. I know, but
he could if he really had to. It's like a song.
I would say. It's like going, hey, you have to
(17:31):
do a mute, like could be an actual quote unquote DJ,
which I am not. Never call me a freaking DJ
and play songs. How long could you go? Well, that's
just a sleep thing, so probably like forty hours. I
had to do that once in a snowstorm, really because
nobody could get in or out of the station and
we didn't have it wasn't where the songs were in
a computer system. You had to switch out CDs. I
(17:52):
think I did about forty hours one.
Speaker 3 (17:53):
Yeah, that's crazy, I know. And I also felt I
think I fell asleep once during Ricky Martin.
Speaker 1 (17:57):
She bangs and I remember what a song I know,
and I remember here in the end of it being like,
oh that's interesting, Oh my god.
Speaker 3 (18:03):
And then I was like there was that silence for
like Tom Brady.
Speaker 1 (18:08):
So I think he does an excellent job, but he
does get little breaks.
Speaker 3 (18:14):
Yeah, I mean I was listening for like ten minutes straight.
I'm my gosh, this guy's good. Oh yeah, he just
talks for so long.
Speaker 1 (18:20):
Yeah, he's definitely good. But if he doing this, if
I had to just talk talk talk, my voice would die.
And yeah, with no, five hours, six hours, what does
he go? Eight seven seven eight? Yeah, No, he's good.
But let's not forget he does get little breaks, okay
if he needs one. Don't they play commercials to it
at one point during the game.
Speaker 6 (18:39):
Yes, yeah, they're like a little yeah, a little side yeah, yeah,
on the side there, all right?
Speaker 3 (18:43):
What else you got?
Speaker 5 (18:43):
All right?
Speaker 6 (18:43):
After barely beating Boys stayed on Saturday? Do you think
Oregon fans should start feeling worried?
Speaker 1 (18:48):
Boys? Is pretty good, but yeah, I think Oregon fans
are probably realizing they should probably have a little more
humble pie, a little more be humble, you know, Kendrick
humble because it may not work out. It may not
work out in the exact way that you think it's
going to because it's going to get harder. But this
also could be really great for them, and it could.
(19:10):
There's a lot of learning, and it's best to learn
when you win. Sure, that's that's the best learning is.
You have to learn the hard way, but you also
still get to w Dylan Gabriel played. Okay, what two
touchdowns two hundred and forty yards decent stat line? Uh,
they won a game winning field goal that I in
the fourth quarter. They were up by like ten for
(19:32):
a minute or sex, and I thought, okay, here it goes,
and the Bois he just kept kept going. You watched
that game or no?
Speaker 3 (19:36):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (19:37):
Well yeah, I had three thousand dollars on it, so
I watch.
Speaker 3 (19:39):
But it was late.
Speaker 1 (19:39):
That's why nine o'clock star. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (19:41):
I was up for the first half and I couldn't
step back to that. But that running back for.
Speaker 1 (19:44):
Boises okased on geez. So yeah, if I'm an Oregon fan,
I definitely am worried that maybe I had too few
fears going into the season that you now kind of
have to start paying more attention to who are we playing?
How can we beat them? Will we beat them? Instead
of just going all right, here's another w let's just
(20:05):
get to the playoff?
Speaker 3 (20:06):
Yeah yeah, all right?
Speaker 6 (20:07):
What else going to the NFL? Which team's loss should
cause more fans concern? The Bengals, the Browns or the Falcons.
Speaker 1 (20:12):
Let's talk about individually the Falcons. You're looking at A
guy was coming off a terrible Achilles' injury. I'm just
not gonna penalize Kirk Cousins for not being that good yesterday.
That's first came back after that Achilles is maybe the
worst other than Alex Smith whenever he lost his whole leg.
Basically that Achilles is about the worst thing that can
happen to you if it's because it takes so long.
(20:33):
So I'm definitely not gonna hold Kirk Cousins accountable for
having a game that really wasn't that great. I thought
they would do a bit better, but I'm gonna take
Cousins off of that. I still think the Falcons will
end up being pretty good. Secondly, the Bengals, I don't know.
I just I bet them live and I was like, oh,
(20:55):
for sure they can back and win this thing.
Speaker 3 (20:57):
Think we all thought that.
Speaker 1 (20:58):
Yeah, that sexy touchdown they got all back. It was
a big like they had a chance. But I'm the Browns.
Deshaun Watson cannot play quarterback. He just can't play quarterback.
He's done. He's There were throws he was making that
weren't even close like he was he was like throwing
flagging outs and I mean and not throwing it out
(21:20):
of balance, but throwing it into the sideline.
Speaker 3 (21:24):
Over.
Speaker 1 (21:25):
If I'm the Browns, I'm going defense, Please God, and
please put James Winson in it.
Speaker 3 (21:29):
Yeah, they also.
Speaker 1 (21:31):
Can't really trade or cut Watson. That's just too much.
It's it sucks for Browns fans because I feel like,
in a different timeline, I'm a Browns fan. That's what
being an archantas raisback fans, it's a Browns fan, it's
a Jets fan. It is it is. So if I
(21:56):
am the Browns, I think I'm probably having the worst day.
Speaker 3 (22:00):
Oh really yeah, because.
Speaker 1 (22:04):
They have no quarterback and they're not going to have
a quarterback and they're gonna have that quarterback for another
couple of seasons. That sucks. Or they're gonna have to
hold him and he's gonna eat up all the cap
and be a bench player. Defense look fine, but the
defense is only going to play so well until they're like, man,
screw this, it doesn't matter what we do.
Speaker 3 (22:21):
It's like the Jets last year. Yeah, all right, last question?
Speaker 1 (22:25):
All right, what's new team debut? Impress you the most?
San Donald, MVP, go give it to him. Here's temper
tend to start at the game.
Speaker 3 (22:31):
Yeah he was. He looked good. Sam Donald's temper he
was tim for ten. It was crazy.
Speaker 1 (22:37):
Donald went nineteen for twenty four to eight and two touchdowns.
And the two eight numbers is a bit low, but
they didn't have to do much. I mean, the Vikings
kind of ran that game. The Texans are going to
be really good because they have four legitimate offensive threats
with Nico Collins. Nico Collins is their number one and.
Speaker 3 (23:00):
That deep.
Speaker 1 (23:02):
The deep past, Oh my gosh, two guys on them.
Speaker 3 (23:04):
Crazy.
Speaker 1 (23:05):
Diggs is I don't even want to say a two,
but it's at one point five. Diggs is one point five.
Nico Collins is so good. Digs is also really good,
but Dick is also kind of a tank. And then Mixing,
who ran the crap out like they are a fort
It reminds me of what the forty nine ers a bit,
you know, Mixing is not McCaffrey. But Nico Collins is
(23:28):
probably better than Ayuk and they actually have a number two.
But uh, the Texans were really good. The Cowboys defense
and Zimmer was solid.
Speaker 3 (23:40):
Awesome. They just need somebody offensively to join the club.
Speaker 1 (23:45):
They need to in the treehouse. Need somebody else come
up with the tree another pair of fans out there,
and we go back.
Speaker 3 (23:50):
To the Eagles.
Speaker 1 (23:52):
They look good, I mean, Sakuon looked great, and I
know that that happened on Friday night. So it's been
a while between Hurts and Saquon and Vonta Smith and
A J. Bryant like they're is probably gonna be as
good as we thought. It's gonna be tough and Jordan
Love out for four or five weeks sucks for the Packers.
If they can go let's say it's five weeks, they
(24:13):
can go two and three, that's big. They can win
to that's big for them. Who's gonna play quarterback? As
a Malik Willis just got traded up from the Titans.
Speaker 3 (24:21):
Are they going to go?
Speaker 1 (24:22):
Speaking of the Titans, will they go and get the
last starter?
Speaker 4 (24:25):
Here?
Speaker 1 (24:26):
Ran Tanne?
Speaker 5 (24:27):
Oh yeah, what's he doing?
Speaker 3 (24:29):
Is he on the couch?
Speaker 1 (24:29):
He's on the couch. But he said he's only coming
back for like a great deal, A great deal, I
got you. A deal's a pickle, but I got Yeah. So,
if I were to pick who impressed me, I think
the Texans probably overall seem like the team that could
actually be a real factor because they have so many
(24:51):
weapons and they're good defensively, right, it's not like they're
they're lopsided.
Speaker 3 (24:54):
But who who?
Speaker 1 (24:55):
I didn't expect to be. I mean the Vikings man,
I expect Sam Donald to come out doing that. So, uh,
there you go. That's Tiptown.
Speaker 3 (25:02):
I thank you, stupid.
Speaker 2 (25:04):
His name is the title Tonnele.
Speaker 3 (25:07):
Let's get.
Speaker 1 (25:10):
So let's talk about this. Pick a player and choose
if they have more or less. That's what we're talking
about when we talk about, uh with DraftKings to pick
six app So let's do tonight and I don't know
when you're here, hopefully here this today and it's before
the game that's happening tonight. But with pick six, you
can do this at any time, so you can pick
two to six players. If for tonight, for example, Aaron
Rodgers more or less than two hundred and thirty five
(25:31):
passing yards more, Yeah, two thirty halve. It just feels
low though it does good defense for years. But I'm
still gonna go more. Just pick us two thirty five. Yeah,
and Rogers, let's go. I just don't want to I
don't want to get I don't want to get beat
by Rogers, So I'm gonna go more. Brock Purty more
or less thirty one and a half passing attempts.
Speaker 3 (25:53):
That's a lot passing attempts with McCaffrey in the backfield.
Speaker 1 (25:57):
I say less, I say full load for McCaffrey to less, Yeah,
I'll probably go less too. Brees Hall more or less
than sixty four and a half rushing yards more. If
I'm agreeing with Addie, I'm losing.
Speaker 2 (26:11):
So I would lose.
Speaker 3 (26:12):
That's why I'm going for I would lose.
Speaker 1 (26:13):
I would lose because I'm agreeing with that.
Speaker 3 (26:15):

So Mike d calls himself an aging fan. I think
(26:58):
we're all aging, But what.
Speaker 3 (26:59):
Is your issue.
Speaker 7 (27:00):
I'm thirty three years old and I was thinking of
getting a Ceede Lamb jersey this season. Okay, he's twenty
five years old. It feels weird to me having somebody
who is younger than me, like represented on my body.
Speaker 1 (27:10):
Interesting because you think, as a jersey wearer, you're a kid,
and it's like an adult you look up to.
Speaker 7 (27:17):
Yeah, every time I've had a jersey, it's been somebody
older than me, Like Romo. They were older than me,
And now I'm like, oh, I want another jersey.
Speaker 3 (27:22):
He's twenty five.
Speaker 5 (27:23):
That's a good point.
Speaker 1 (27:24):
I never really thought about that either.
Speaker 3 (27:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (27:26):
Now let me think about any jerseys I have that
I wear. Well, not a big jersey.
Speaker 3 (27:31):
I don't wear it. Oh you know.
Speaker 1 (27:32):
I wore it one time just to be like what up?
But that was only to prove a point and for
like an hour on the show, like I've never actually
worn it. I will wear an Andre dausin jersey that
I have a war two way older if I sixties. Yeah,
Mark grace older. Older, that's what's the Zobe. I wore
a Kobe jersey when we were in Arizona, and I
bought that from the ninety store older.
Speaker 3 (27:56):
Hmm, there's no one else that you wear. That's I
don't think.
Speaker 1 (28:00):
Now that I think about it, I think I would
feel weird wearing the jersey of someone younger than I am,
because does I.
Speaker 3 (28:05):
Wear a Dak Prescott jersey? Man and he's younger than
I am. I know, so that is kind of weird,
But I've never thought of that just because it's my team,
and I would easily wear a Ceedie Lamb jersey. I'm
Michael Parsons jersey, A DIGS. I don't care. Like that's
my team.
Speaker 5 (28:21):
I'm not worried that they're younger. But now that I
think about it, it's weird.
Speaker 1 (28:25):
It's a little weird because I don't think I would
have been worried about it either, But now that you
bring it up, I think I think I would only
wear the jersey of like someone that I looked up
to when I was a kid, not an athlete now,
because I know too many athletes now and they're bigger
idiots than I am, and I'm.
Speaker 3 (28:41):
A pretty big idiot, sure, and I guess I don't
want to wear a jersey of a dumb kid. Yeah,
but you know, like if you look at like you
go to a game and you see the stands, there
are a lot of people in jerseys, and I would
say eighty percent of them are wearing the jersey of
a younger person.
Speaker 1 (28:57):
But I would say one hundred percent of them aren't us.
Speaker 3 (29:00):
So we're cooler than all that.
Speaker 1 (29:01):
No, no, just fat. We're just saying this that. I
never thought about it either. But Mike brings up a
great point. It'd be tough for me to wear a
jersey of a.
Speaker 3 (29:08):
Current player now.
Speaker 1 (29:09):
Gosh, I never thought of it because I only wore
jerseys of players that I looked up to. And I
don't look up to any athletes now because I just
see them as flawed humans.
Speaker 3 (29:17):
You don't look up to Tom Brady as being the goat.
Speaker 1 (29:21):
As just a really great quarterback. But Tom Brady's also older.
Speaker 3 (29:24):
Than I am.
Speaker 5 (29:25):
He's older than this.
Speaker 3 (29:26):
Yeah, that's crazy, that's crazy. He just retired and he
was older than us.
Speaker 1 (29:30):
Yeah, tom Brady's older, but by a couple of years.
Speaker 3 (29:32):
Lebron's older than us. No, Lebron's a couple years younger. Gosh,
so he's really the only one that was that's currently playing,
I mean just retired, that's older than us. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (29:43):
I want to wear jersey of a current athlete because
when I think of.
Speaker 7 (29:46):
Getting a jersey, it's like somebody who I aspire to be, Like, yeah, yeah,
someone you look up to.
Speaker 3 (29:50):
No, that's not it.
Speaker 1 (29:51):
And as a kid, we looked up to them as athletes,
but also we were like they must be great people too,
because they're great athletes.
Speaker 3 (29:56):
But we're also not wearing their jersey because we want
to be them as people. We want to we like
them as a player.
Speaker 1 (30:04):
Yeah, but the personal part of it sales factor really Yeah,
do you think.
Speaker 3 (30:08):
Of them when you watch football? Like I wonder what
kind of absolutely is every single one of them?
Speaker 5 (30:12):
Like Tyreek Hill, we know what kind of person.
Speaker 1 (30:14):
Bad dude.
Speaker 3 (30:15):
We know exactly what kind of guy he is. Yeah,
bad dude.
Speaker 1 (30:19):
So yeah, that's a good question. I never thought about it,
but now that you think about it, I don't think
I wear a jersey of a current player.
Speaker 3 (30:24):
Yea, I don't think I'm gonna do it.
Speaker 1 (30:25):
You're not going to do it if you could order
one and just get like a number one, a number zero,
a number ninety, whatever. You could put a number on
with no name. It doesn't matter. I feel like, let's
look a little lame.
Speaker 3 (30:36):
What do you think about your last name on it?
Your last name? I don't mind that. Have a ton
like that people have giving me. Yeah, if I were
going to wear a jersey, that's what I would wear.
Speaker 1 (30:45):
I would wear one with my name on it. Maybe
that's what you do, Mike, and most of mine don't
say if I buy it, it doesn't say my last
name is Bobby.
Speaker 3 (30:51):
On it, right, Yeah, I just have the ones people
given me and it says Garcia on it, which is
weird because if it makes it makes me feel like
people full see me and they think that I'm trying
to be a player, you know what I mean. Like
it's like, why would he have his own because I
don't know a number?
Speaker 1 (31:07):
When you go golfing and you're in like the gear,
like oh you're a professional.
Speaker 3 (31:10):
Yeah yeah yeah yeah, Like would remember the the Puma
stuff that we got that's not just regular regular Puma
stuff that we got. It was from Team Puma, which
had logos that not every Puma sure that you buy
a Dick sporting is.
Speaker 1 (31:24):
Good, but nobody knew that. I didn't know that.
Speaker 3 (31:26):
No, you can tell that, but I didn't know that
we look like legit golfers when we wear that.
Speaker 1 (31:30):
We did not, so okay, So I had to deal
with Puma because they gave me clubs or clothes, you know,
all kinds of stuff. And so I was like, Eddie
takes some of the stuff because it was like boxes
and boxes of it, and it was like, some of
the stuff is like for the pros and I didn't.
I didn't know that. But it's the same. You can
probably bought it anyway.
Speaker 3 (31:46):
No way, It's got logos on there that you just
don't see the regular guy wearing. But I wouldn't. I
wouldn't know the difference, and then people probably look at
us being like, oh, he's got a pros.
Speaker 1 (31:53):
Now. The only time I think that factors in is
if you're wearing golf spikes at a golf tournament. That's
the only time I'm like, all right, you're kind of
a goober, because golf definitely has a if you're on
the course a dress code. Yeah, oh yeah, so I
don't mind you looking like a golfer dressing like a
golfer if you're just watching golf, because golf kind has
a dress code on the course. If you're wearing golf
(32:15):
shoes and you're only watching, that's weird.
Speaker 3 (32:19):
That just in case they call me up.
Speaker 1 (32:23):
If you're an adult and you go to a baseball
game with a glove, oh with no kid, with no kid,
If you go with the kid in the kids kid's
glove and you were both taking your glove because you
want to be with your selling, you know, that's fine.
That's bonding. If you're going to a baseball game and
you're an adult and you're taking a glove and there
are no kids with you, that's lame, man.
Speaker 3 (32:43):
But what just went to the Arizona Diamondbacks game and
I thought to myself, what am I and we do?
We were in prime foul territory perfect, you know, like
fourteen rows back right behind the net.
Speaker 1 (32:54):
This is it.
Speaker 3 (32:54):
If there's a riety up there, I'm going to get something.
And nothing came my way. But I started, I think
thought the whole like, what am I gonna do? Am
I gonna use my hat u a bare hand? I
wouldn't because I don't care enough about a ball.
Speaker 1 (33:06):
But if you're an adult man, you reach up with
your bare hand and you grab it, because I've seen
many adult men reach up and catch them.
Speaker 7 (33:10):
Yeah, we just saw a white Sox and Rangers. I thought,
I dude catch it with his bare hand, just like.
Speaker 5 (33:14):
No problem, that's an animal.
Speaker 3 (33:16):
I will not even try that because to catch a
foul ball it's gonna.
Speaker 1 (33:20):
Hurt from a random player, is not worth breaking a finger. Yeah,
because if you don't catch it right in the palm,
first of all's pregnant. It's probably gonna bruise your palm, probably,
And if you don't catch it exactly right, you could
break a finger if you're trying to make that the
claw shape with your hand to kind of catch it,
and you're off by just a little and it hits
you know, a football hit.
Speaker 3 (33:38):
Your fingertip and it jams your finger.
Speaker 1 (33:40):
Yeah, a baseball coming that fast, especially if it was
if it's not any so even, but even a pop
fly coming straight down, it's gonna hurt.
Speaker 3 (33:46):
Well, that's really what we were dealing with because it
wasn't gonna be a straight ball because of the net.
The net was there, man, But there was one I
saw that went up to the second deck and it's crazy.
The guy it looked like he was gonna get it,
and then it hit the seat and went all the
way back down and you gotta be like, oh, that
was so so close.
Speaker 1 (34:01):
Yeah, I'm not even trying.
Speaker 3 (34:02):
I would duck.
Speaker 1 (34:03):
The only way I wouldn't duck is if like a
line drive were coming at Caitlin, then I would try
to stop it.
Speaker 3 (34:09):
But I would not to stick my hand out. I
would probably try to stick my whole body.
Speaker 1 (34:12):
In Secret Service style, yep, because I think I would.
I could possibly misjudge it with my hand and it
would still hit her. Yeah, I put my hand up
and I miss if that thing's cutting curving. If it
hits her, like it can protect me.
Speaker 3 (34:28):
Dude, you'd be hailed a hero if you like just
dove and blocked her, you'd be on center. Diving would
look kind of lame if I'm diving like a Secret
Service or you dive and it doesn't even come close
to you. Guys.
Speaker 1 (34:39):
See, that also is a risk. But I think I
may just take her and kind of like move her
a little mover and get just try to get in
front of her, because I wouldn't mind taking that shot.
But I don't think I'm ever gonna wear a player jersey.
Speaker 3 (34:52):
That's current.
Speaker 1 (34:55):
I don't think I was anyway, but now I for
sure won't. Just I'm never going to be an adult.
Well you need to order because cowboys need all that
money for that new dbat contract.
Speaker 3 (35:02):
I know you need to make that up.
Speaker 1 (35:04):
I'm never gonna be an adult and wear a glove
with no kid, and I'm never gonna wear golf shoes
to watch golf if I'm not playing golf.
Speaker 3 (35:13):
Yeah, that's that One's dumb. That's the dumbest thing I
ever heard. But you know what, if you ever have kids, bones,
you're gonna get caught when you're gonna be like your
kids are gonna go to the bathroom and you're gonna
be there with your glove, and they're gonna see you
and be like the bobby there with a glove. I
don't care.
Speaker 1 (35:24):
I'll be like, wait a minute, my kids back. In
a second, I thought i'd be hearing a hold on.
Speaker 3 (35:28):
It's hold on.
Speaker 1 (35:29):
How'd you feel about the that contract highest paid player?
Speaker 3 (35:33):
First thing I thought, I was like, all right, he
better deserve it. Well, if you mean earn it, because
I earn it. That's what I mean. Okay, it's just tough,
and I don't know.
Speaker 1 (35:41):
That he deserves it. But they never pay these quarterbacks
on what they deserve. They always paid on what. It's
always a what we think we're going to get out
of them.
Speaker 3 (35:48):
So first thing, I never really understand the business of it.
And look at a contract, they say highest paid, what's guaranteed?
Speaker 5 (35:54):
What's not guaranteed? How do what kind of bonus? In sentences?
Speaker 1 (36:00):
What is the incentives?
Speaker 3 (36:01):
Incentives are in there? I just don't understand that part
of the game. So I see that.
Speaker 1 (36:06):
Can you pull this contract, Mike, whatever you see and
read me? Because I know it's sixty million a year,
but read I know it's four years, two hundred and forty.
But will you read if there are any of those
that Eddie's mentioned that have been announced in sentences?
Speaker 3 (36:17):
No incentives. So I see that and I'm like, wow,
this is crazy. The highest paid. But then I think, like, okay,
it's the highest paid right now, he gets paid whatever
sixty million, but they could drop him whenever they want.
Speaker 1 (36:31):
Correct A lot of it's guaranteed.
Speaker 5 (36:34):
Oh, it is a lot guaranteed.
Speaker 3 (36:35):
Because I look at the z contract a few years ago,
like it was the biggest contract and running backs ever gotten.
What do they do?
Speaker 5 (36:41):
They keep him for a couple of years and they
let him go.
Speaker 3 (36:44):
So there's just a lot of dead cap too if
you do that, which means you might as well have
paid him.
Speaker 1 (36:47):
Oh they lock it up like you're not paying him it. Again,
a lot of different ways to break down a contract,
but heavy signing bonus up front, they have to joke.
They have to move the money around in order to
make the salary cap work in diff ways. But also
there are times where let's say they do cut somebody,
but there's there's also going to be a bunch of
dead cap even though they're not paying it, they can't
use it somewhere else, So there is it's not like
(37:10):
they're cutting someone to get that money to sign somebody else. Yeah,
like the Cardinals when they tanked, they part of their
deal was even when they traded like Hopkins really close
to the season, they had a bunch of dead but
they were trying to create so much dead cap that
they weren't allowed to spend money. It's still counted as
spent money because teams have to spend a certain amount
(37:31):
of money every year, like that's the rule. You can't
go like this year only and to spend ten whole
million dollars. There's a minimum what they have to spend.
So if Michael pull up the terms, if they've announced it,
what do you see.
Speaker 7 (37:41):
I don't see any incentives. Like Eddie was talking about,
we had two forty two thirty one guaranteed eighty millions
signing bonus.
Speaker 1 (37:49):
So he's getting two thirty one guaranteed, Yeah, over four years, amazing.
So the nine million is probably coming in years three
and four split four point four point five, and I'm
just guessing that's what it is, or it could be
two point three year good for him, but so your thoughts, it.
Speaker 3 (38:03):
Just it sucks because it just feels like, you know,
what we liked about Tom Brady was he would take
pay cuts so that the team would have enough money
to play to pay other players, and then you can
surround yourself by good people do. With CDs contract and
Dak's contract, what are we gonna have left?
Speaker 1 (38:19):
But Tom Brady did one wasn't normal. You've seen Mahomes
restructure his deal as well, maybe a couple of times
now too. Brady had already won championships as well, and
Brady already had his money right he was meeting, he
was doing that, and he had been only long enough
that he had his money, but he didn't want But
that was a number one to him, was to win championship.
(38:40):
We don't know that that's Dak's a number one. Dax's
literally maybe to have security for his family, his kids, family.
Speaker 3 (38:46):
But I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about us
as a fan as they don't get right, you know,
like they don't care. But it's just as a fan,
it kind of hurts a little bit because we know
that we can't get other players now.
Speaker 1 (38:58):
But that can also be the team's fault. I don't know,
I blame Dak. I'm not gonna blame anybody for getting
their money.
Speaker 3 (39:02):
No, no, no, ever.
Speaker 1 (39:03):
But the team could have signed him a year earlier
and saved ten million bucks so another I mean three
four million bucks a year and use that to get
other players. I mean it's the team's fault too for
not offering that could deal.
Speaker 3 (39:19):
Now, I'm not blaming Dak. I'm just you know, you
asked me what I thought.
Speaker 1 (39:22):
Well, you do said when Tom Brady gave up money,
So that is blaming Dak.
Speaker 3 (39:25):
I don't expect Dak or anyone else to do that.
That's what was special about Tom Brady. He really, you know,
he would do that to win, and I just thought
he didn't do it at first. I didn't. He did
it once he was older and had a lot of
money and he could do that. I remember why I'm
sticking up for Dak so much. But well, you're comparing
them Tom Brady. It's just not a fair analogy. And
it's just the highest paid quarterback in the NFL and
your highest paid player want to be the highest paid
as one hundred percent right.
Speaker 1 (39:47):
I love not just you, but everybody always wants to
spend or tell other people when and how to get
their money and what they should do with their money.
And I'm not just saying this about you, but even
the Wilie. What Tom Brady used to do with the teams,
with the players, it's it's absolutely a business to us.
It's not it's personal. It's very personal because it's our team.
Speaker 3 (40:05):
Right with them, it is a business.
Speaker 5 (40:07):
It's they're looking at their future.
Speaker 1 (40:09):
And you get the most you can. When with Brady,
he'd already won championships, and he also knew that his
business was being a champion.
Speaker 3 (40:15):
He coldre more championships. That's way more money.
Speaker 1 (40:16):
Later on, Yeah, why do you think it's a three
hundred million dollars deal with Fox? Because he won seven
Super Bowls?
Speaker 3 (40:21):
Three hundred million dollars deal, That's that's why he signed.
How long is he going to be doing this? I
don't know.
Speaker 1 (40:27):
I don't know what his contract was. They were a
roastone today. Again, I looked again. We took a little
break a minute ago. I looked again and it was
non stop rose Fest.
Speaker 3 (40:34):
Ten years, ten years on the mic? How much was
the three hundred and seventy five million dollars? See, if
you give it some of that up, you can get
out of the badcaster, other broadcasters that are better than him. Yeah,
you can have them in there with them.
Speaker 1 (40:49):
You think the quarterback will throw more than three hundred
yards that specific quarterback? Do you think the running back
from Philly will have less than one hundred yards rushing?

(42:23):
How much did you watch NFL wise?
Speaker 2 (42:25):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (42:25):
I the only game I watched watch was the Cowboys
game because we were trying to catch a flight for
the noon games. So I was driving to the airport
listening to noon games. So I put it on red
Zone kind of in my car while all my kids,
my family were in there. And dude, trying to listen
to NFL Red Zone is hard. You think watching is tough,
listening is impossible. We had no idea what games they
(42:48):
were talking about, so I listened for about forty five
minutes while we drove to the airport, and then I
had it on my phone just kind of watching back
and forth. But I never really got to watch a
game until Cowboys and then the Sunday night game. I
watched all that the Lions, Rams, Lions Rams. Great game thoughts, Uh,
awesome game. I feel like, uh the Rams, they I
(43:11):
mean they had that game. I think I think they
were I mean I really thought they were gonna win
that game. Uh. It really it hurt to watch that
offensive lineman go against Hutchinson because like once their their
starter went out, dude, they were just buwling that lineman. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (43:28):
The Rams also had like five six defensive players not
able to play.
Speaker 3 (43:35):
Yeah, like they were depleted on defense. I know they
had rookie cornerbacks at one point and that's no good.
And I was watching them against James and Williams and
that wasn't even a mile or I'll say brown James
Willims just toasting them. I mean that one long touchdown
was just James Williams. They're gone. Without all that, I
think the Rams could have won that game. I think
there pretty good this year. Yeah, thanks, Stafford's gonna be
pretty good this year. I'll walk you through a couple
(43:55):
of these. And since you were you had your dad's funeral,
so we give you a pass. Thank you, and that
that was mainly Saturday, which man, I didn't watch any
college and I felt so left out because I placed
all my bests before we left on college at all.
On College, I put like five parlays I did I
did you know, ten bucks on Notre Dame. I did
ten bucks on Alabama to cover I don't think I
want one bet. But I didn't watch it, so it
(44:16):
really didn't hurt, you know, like I wasn't watching myself
lose the money.
Speaker 1 (44:21):
Yeah, the pain isn't stabbing, it's just oh man, that's
so yeah. The stabbing suck. The stabbing sucked for me.
Whenever the Titans ended up blowing that Bears game because
I bet a ton oh and I bet on the
Titans money line and Titans plus four, I was like,
this is over and it was. And I think Kayleb
Williams half like one yard passing, but he won the
(44:43):
game and he celebrated. He did, and I would have
celebrated too. Will Love sucked, yeah, and well it looked
like with will Evis. It wasn't a bo Nicks kind
of sucked where you could really see some flashes with
bon Neecks. I think bon Nick is gonna be good.
It was a there's no hope here. It was a
Dani Jones kind of suck. He just has bigger muscles. Like,
(45:04):
the only thing about will Levis he's ripped is that
he just has big muscles.
Speaker 5 (45:07):
It looks like a cartoon character.
Speaker 1 (45:08):
When he runs, you worry, You don't worry. He's gonna
break in half. But he's not good, and I don't
really see how it can be good.
Speaker 3 (45:14):
How did Tony Pollard do? I mean really good?
Speaker 1 (45:18):
I bet on him. I bet fifty bucks to him
to score the first touchdown he did.
Speaker 3 (45:20):
There we go.
Speaker 1 (45:21):
I'm won like five hundred bucks, all right that one. Yeah,
Paul looks solid, So I'll I'll give you a couple
thoughts on each game. Do you watch Packer the Eagles Packers?
That was a Friday night game.
Speaker 3 (45:30):
I'll watch half of that second half. Saquon looked really good.
Speaker 5 (45:33):
Yeah, it was weird to see him in Eagles jersey,
but he looked good.
Speaker 1 (45:38):
Jordan Love mcl injury. I did say see a few
minutes ago that they have contacted our boy here, Tannehill.
Speaker 3 (45:46):
No word yet. Who's the backup in Green Bay? Do
you know Milke Willis? They just tried to come from here.
It will be hilarious. Is I think Green Bay plays
the Titans coming up? Is that?
Speaker 1 (45:57):
That might even be next week? Mike me, look, how
about that Malik Willis comes back. If he's the starter
to play the Titans, the team that just traded him
as cool and will Levis, it might be next week?
Speaker 7 (46:07):
Yeah, twenty second?
Speaker 3 (46:08):
Oh boy about that? Uh Steelers falcons Cousin through a
couple bad picks.
Speaker 1 (46:13):
He he obviously is coming out to rehab mode. So
I'm not gonna hold it against Kirk Cousins.
Speaker 5 (46:19):
Justin fields played right.
Speaker 1 (46:21):
Yeah, Russell Wis was a light scratch and and in
the most goober Russell Wilson way.
Speaker 5 (46:24):
He wore pads the whole.
Speaker 1 (46:25):
Time, even though he was even though he wasn't going
to get in the game, there was no chance he
was going to get in the game, and he still
wore pad It was such a good and I don't
know if I would have thought it was a goober thing,
if I didn't already think he was a goober by
everybody telling me he's a goober, showing me the goober
things he does.
Speaker 3 (46:38):
I'm righty Cooch, I'm still ready right.
Speaker 1 (46:40):
But they kicked six field goals and won the game. Wow,
Steelers did they won?
Speaker 3 (46:45):
Eighteen ten?
Speaker 5 (46:46):
Not one touchdown?
Speaker 1 (46:47):
Falcons did they threw Pittscott touchdown?
Speaker 3 (46:50):
Your boy, Kyle Pitts. Does he look better this year?
Speaker 1 (46:53):
Well? Yeah, he did catch a touchdowns that was pretty good,
but the Falcons struggled yesterday.
Speaker 3 (46:58):
Just in general, banking on him for years.
Speaker 1 (47:00):
Bill's thirty four Cardinals twenty eight. Yes, Josh Allen had
four total touchdowns. The Cardinals scored a lot of points.
Marvin Harrison didn't really put up number. Marvin Harrison could
have won the game at the end. He was wide opening.
Caylin Murray didn't see him. Oh, Calin Murray looked pretty good.
Speaker 3 (47:14):
Yeah, I saw some runs that he made that were
really good. Dude, these so little, He's so little. And
here's the thing about Josh Allen, like I feel like
he's so worried that they're not going to be good,
that he has to do everything himself. And the clips
that I saw, you know, is just like he's, dude,
he's doing too much as a quarterback.
Speaker 1 (47:29):
I think that's always what he does.
Speaker 3 (47:31):
But it's like, man, I can hear it and I
don't know NFL has done something with the sound where
it just sounds good this year, Like you hear all that,
you can hear them when they get hit going oh,
like I'd never heard that before. It was amazing. And
every time he gets hit.
Speaker 1 (47:46):
He go oh. Bears twenty four Titans seventeen. Bears outscored
the Titans twenty four zero after being down seventeen zero.
Speaker 3 (47:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (47:54):
Bengals Patriots, Patriots won sixteen to ten.
Speaker 5 (47:57):
Unbelievable, It is unbelievable.
Speaker 3 (47:58):
Good for Kevin, but whatever. Texans twenty nine, Colts twenty seven.
Speaker 5 (48:02):
Richardson looks good.
Speaker 3 (48:03):
He did, and he made a couple just chunks, like
rolling chunk. Richardon did look good. Accuracy looked good on
that point conversion too. At the end, he just ran
through the guy. There was nobody open. He's like got
to make a play and his size paid off. He
lowered his head and ran through him.
Speaker 1 (48:20):
Texans did win. Colts did look good again. Joe Mixing
thirty carries one hundred and sixty yards straw with two touchdowns,
but not a big passing number if I remember correctly,
But he didn't.
Speaker 3 (48:30):
Have to like they're run, they're running the ball all
over the Colts. Dolphins twenty Jaguar seventeen.
Speaker 1 (48:35):
Both looked good. Jaguars quick up up, Dolphins came back,
kicked field goal to win it. Saints forty seven, Panthers ten.
It was over from the beginning. I believe at one
point it was thirty to three. Was it Carol Young
in first pass?
Speaker 3 (48:47):
Was that seventh reception? I saw that I heard I
heard it in the car.
Speaker 1 (48:51):
Not only that that Carolyn. Offensive line was terrible again,
that's what they need. Bryce Young had no time, but
also didn't look good. It was. It was bad.
Speaker 3 (49:00):
I'm not giving up hope that they'll be a little
better this year, but this was not the game. So
Saints look better than you think, or just playing the
car the Panthers.
Speaker 1 (49:08):
Dude, it was so over, so quick. I don't know.
Speaker 3 (49:11):
Car looked good and then Carr played.
Speaker 1 (49:14):
I don't have a statue in front of me, but
I think car ended up passing for a ton of yards.
But how do you not?
Speaker 3 (49:19):
I mean, the defense is so deflated, the offense can't score.
Speaker 1 (49:23):
Vikings meet the Giant Sam Darnold two touchdowns went pretend
to start the game. Chargers twenty two, Raiders ten Domins
had a bunch of rush yards and that's also Hardball's
first win. Seahawks twenty six, Broncos twenty. Kenneth Walker had
over one hundred yard rushing.
Speaker 3 (49:37):
I believe you have him in fantasy. I did. That's
why I knew that. Well, you knew that's.
Speaker 1 (49:42):
And then I watched bo Nicks had a couple of interceptions.
But there's a promise there, and Seahawk's gonna be good.
The Broncos didn't lose by much. Cowboys thirty three, Round seventeen,
We did that, Bucks thirty seven, Commanders twenty.
Speaker 3 (49:51):
Baker through four touchdowns. Wow, Baker Mayfield and you guy's good.
I'm not bad, but okay, he hasn't I mean, no,
the same, still the same. Yeah, I know he ignored
me and that's not that he left me on red.
So not that pressing it type sounds college wise.
Speaker 1 (50:09):
I give you a few headlines here. Michigan got whooped
by Texas from the very beginning. Yeah different, it was
game on, game on over just big time. Penn State
barely beat Bowling Green thirty four to twenty seven. Really,
I don't want two overtime markets. All loss is terrible.
George Wap Tennessee Tech. This was in a game Notre Dame.
I'm losing to Northern Illinois, which he played the call earlier.
Is crazy that I wasn't even watching. I was just
(50:32):
checking the score. It was like, no way this will last,
No way, this will last, no way.
Speaker 3 (50:37):
Oh my god, they're gonna keep the plug goal, They're
gonna make th Oh my, it is over. I got
back to the hotel, turned the TV on. The first
thing I saw was Northern Illinois celebrating. I'm like, what
what are they celebrating for?
Speaker 1 (50:46):
Cam Rise and got hurt in the Utah game? Oh no,
they beat Baylor twenty three twelve. They say it's not
gonna be a serious injury. All miss what MTSU mital Tennessee.
Alabama beat Southern Florida forty two to sixteen.
Speaker 3 (50:56):
But it was not Yeah, that all came later at
the end. I think they scored twenty in the fourth quarter.
That game is not with the score show.
Speaker 5 (51:05):
I saw. It was really close at the half.
Speaker 1 (51:06):
Missouri will Buffalo, Ohio State b Western Michigan. Like those
aren't games. Tennessee had a game because they were in
a neutral site playing North Carolina State, Tennessee was fourteen.
Speaker 3 (51:14):
North Constate was twenty four. Tennessee they just whopped him
fifty one to ten.
Speaker 1 (51:18):
Over is over it.
Speaker 3 (51:19):
It was like men and boys playing each other.
Speaker 1 (51:21):
Oregon barely beats Boise State, which we talked about, and
Kansas lost to Illinois twenty three seventeen and yeah, that
kind of stuff because we were rooting for coach. Yeah,
so Red, did you get to watch any well, not
get did you watch any football? Doll?
Speaker 4 (51:34):
I was pretty much driving the entire time, but I
did have it on It was probably it was probably
illegal to do, but I did have it.
Speaker 3 (51:40):
On my phone. That's what Eddie did. Yeah, but he
had kids in the car, so his work they were
watching it.
Speaker 4 (51:44):
I it okay, Hey yeah, hey yeah go. I did
a little bit of the Packers game. I mainly just
watched stuff to keep up with my fantasy.
Speaker 3 (51:51):
A little bit. You know, how'd you do?
Speaker 1 (51:53):
I won?
Speaker 3 (51:54):
Could you beat? I did pretty good? Adam Hamburg? Oh good? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (51:58):
I stick got to Kevin pretty good? Yeah you did
that Head Stroud and Nico Collins? Yes, and you got
Kenneth Walker.
Speaker 3 (52:05):
And who's that? Who's the King City?
Speaker 5 (52:07):
U worthy?
Speaker 3 (52:09):
Well, our commissioner, who's I can't believe you got him
so early. It wasn't even early. And I really expect
if I know it was earlier than I guess it
would have, he would have normally gone. But I was
ready to get him, like I really was right around
the time you got him.
Speaker 1 (52:23):
Well, our our commission our dope commissioner sets the league
up and we're doing the draft during the first game,
so it's the chief it's a Chiefs and Ravens, and
Worthy had already scored two dude.
Speaker 3 (52:35):
He looked awesome.
Speaker 1 (52:36):
Maybe he had scored a touchdown, maybe even two. And
it was like, fifth round is my pick, and if
you draft him in your starting lineup, you get the
points for that first game.
Speaker 3 (52:43):
So it was like I was gonna take him in
the six, six or seven times anyway.
Speaker 1 (52:46):
As like a flex my homes and I was like,
screw it, I'll take the fourteen points and hopefully get
me a week one win. Like to me, I felt
like that was a I'm drafting for a win this week.
Speaker 3 (52:58):
But it was sooner than I thought you.
Speaker 1 (53:00):
I would have drafted on that soon had he not
scored maybe even two touchdowns already. Yeah, So but yeah,
oh good, Mike, did you win?
Speaker 3 (53:08):
Bet?
Speaker 7 (53:09):
You still has party tonight?
Speaker 1 (53:10):
But I think O win.
Speaker 3 (53:11):
What are you by?
Speaker 7 (53:12):
I'm about like thirty point today?
Speaker 3 (53:14):
Yeah, you went, Eddie. It depends on tonight. I have
Aaron Rodgers, I have yeah, Aaron Rodgers, and I have uh,
you must be down then, huh Williams. I'm down by forty.
I feel like I could cover that. And you have
Aaron Rodgers, yeah, in the receiver and Mike Williams. Mike Williams.
(53:35):
It just depends if they go off. It's my game
if they go Yeah, but it's going off. Is not
all I need?
Speaker 1 (53:40):
All I need is twenty five and fifteen?
Speaker 3 (53:43):
Yes, it's it. That's it.
Speaker 5 (53:45):
And I feel like that what is it?
Speaker 1 (53:46):
Second percentage to win?
Speaker 3 (53:47):
Is I'm at thirty? At thirty, I'm at thirty percent Yeah.
Speaker 1 (53:51):
Yeah, not that the percentage matters, but that those are
the odds based on that path.
Speaker 3 (53:55):
Thirty is a good percentage, I feel with just two
guys left down by forty, come on, baby, but.
Speaker 1 (54:04):
You're not probable.
Speaker 3 (54:05):
I'm not probable. Yeah, but you know, no, dude, you
ever did all those project projections? I think out of
all my projections, I.
Speaker 1 (54:12):
Say projections are different than when they do the percentages.
Those are two different things.
Speaker 3 (54:15):
Projections are just making a guess how many points are
going to score.
Speaker 5 (54:18):
But I think the probability is made because of the projections.
Speaker 1 (54:22):
I think the probability is also made though, with how
many players you have left.
Speaker 3 (54:25):
Yeah, that's also a factor. Is that Watson doing that?
Speaker 1 (54:29):
Let's say, like the trade with IBMS. Yeah, I hate
that thing. All right, it's a good week.
Speaker 3 (54:36):
It was good. It was good. I wish I would
have watched more. But next week, well you had a reason.
I know, my dad's funeral, but it was funny because
that wasn't funny. But and I got mad at my
kids for doing it. But I would, you know, we
had like a wake or whatever on Saturday where people would,
you know, come and visit our family, and there's a
lot of talking and visiting with people.
Speaker 5 (54:58):
And I'd be talking to one of my dad's friends.
Speaker 3 (55:00):
He'd be telling me a story and we're like, you know,
oh man, miss Dad, and then my kids would be like, Dad,
Notre Dame's gonna lose God, And I feel like not
right now, son, let me see that phone. So it
was kind of like a little mix. I'm like, I
wanted to know the updates, but it was very awkward
when they would do that. That's pretty funny, yeah, because
that was a big deal they lost.
Speaker 5 (55:18):
They'd be like, Dad, Michigan sucks. Now right now, guys, I'm.
Speaker 3 (55:21):
Talking to someone. All right, I think we're done. Thank you, guys,
thanks for drafting, drafting to whistle.
Speaker 5 (55:27):
No, I don't have a whistle.
Speaker 3 (55:29):
That's good?
Speaker 1 (55:31):
Is that?
Speaker 3 (55:31):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (55:32):
