Speaker 1 (00:00):
No investigation necessary. Welcome to Vson's F one Betting Podcast.
Its light down, Away we go check this a legend,
absolutely animal, the only F one handicap you'll ever need.
Michael Right, find that Sefre and ship can only do
what on You're your hosts F one technical analyst Mikhail

(00:20):
Miranda and betting expert Ben Wilson. Welcome into the F
one Betting Podcast. I am your host, micam Miranda and
today we are heading over to the Lasale International second
in Katzar. I'm excited to talk about this tract because
we only have one race here back in twenty twenty one,
and it's exciting to see this track come alive under

(00:40):
the lights in the evening at Doha. We're going to
see some major, major things take place here. But the
first important topic to talk about is the fact that
Maxi Stappin could secure his third Driver's Championship title. The
bout has gone almost unacclaimed by anyone else on the field.

(01:02):
There's just no one who's been able to display the
amounts of dominance a Maxi stap in his head this
entire season. He showed the true form of a champion.
And we were about to see that payoff for the
third time in three years. Right, So let's look at this.
We have fifty seven laps with the second letter of
five point four one kilometers and there is a good

(01:26):
amount of medium and high speed corners, right. So it
was designed primarily with the Molti GP in mind, the
Kilumbus circuit, and so it's got that nice, fast and
flown track where medium high speed corners predominate. Right over
one kilometer of the track still lets is made up
of the main street, which provides plenty of overtaking opportunities

(01:50):
into ten one. So that DRS effect is going to
be huge year, especially with the slipstream. If you get that,
just what you're going to see a lot of cars
is dive bombing the inside taking that turn one. It's
not a true herpen, but I'd like to look at
it as a herpin. And that's repeated twice. You get

(02:11):
into town one, it's a nice white said get down
on power a little bit early, you let off. Turn
two's one the same thing, and then you just head
around the twisty tens And I'm excited to see here.
And I also I've got to believe that MAX does
not go unchallenged here at this circuit. With the recent

(02:32):
form of McLaren, Ferrari and McLaren, I believe there's much
more to be seen from each team coming up here. Right.
They've been bringing a lot of upgrades and they've just
been performing extremely, extremely well. It's caught my eyes. Ben
and I were really high in Ferrari at the start

(02:53):
of the season. That's taking a third for the worst
and now we're seeing Ferrari sort to find its form
yet again. It does require a lot to go through
to keep that team up there with the points fighting
against the Red Bull, Mercedes and McLaren. Now, but don't

(03:14):
count out anyone, right, These top four teams can wipe
out the top six. Right, It's gonna be extremely difficult here,
bet saying this track, especially given the dominance of Red
Bull and the absolute blistering pace of the McLarens. Now,
there's a lot to look forward as we head into

(03:36):
this track, right, So let's look at the odds. Some
draft gigs your spots to beg that's gonna be giving
you all the odses that we're looking at again. Winner
Max Verstappen minus four hundred Landon Norris is second at
ten to one, and then Serge your parents at twelve
to one. The odds makers here are saying something very

(03:58):
very important that saved yours no longer looks like a
second driver to contend with. Right here you have Oscar
Pias three in fourth at eighteenth one. To me, when
I'm looking at this number, is I believe that Oscar
should actually be eleven to one and Sergia of thirteenth one.
It's just because I've seen Serjia Peis lose his form.

(04:19):
The only reason why Sergia Peiris still looks sort of good, right,
it's because he's in a red ball. Put anyone else
in the red bull. They look just as good as
parer as, if not better form. But as of right now,
I am fading Sergio Paris. I don't trust him to
hold off any of these other drivers. They've got a

(04:42):
little bit more aggrussion coming in, and especially with that
looming thought of am I going to be in the
seat next year? Yes, we've had Christian Horner said we
are rallying around Sergio Paris next year. But given that
Daniel Riccardo just signed a contract to be with Alfa
Tori and Liam Lawson shaying amended space and some great

(05:03):
race craft. It's not too much off a shift for
Sergio to be out of the race seat next season,
or even half wayth the season, they'll be like, you're
not cutting out for us, You're out Daniels in and
he might be demoted to Alpha Tori, or he could
be in the reserve seat at Red Bull and have

(05:24):
Liam Lawson take that sea at Alva Torri. There's a
lot to go on. Silly season is not yet over.
We have a lot of things to come as we
head into next season. But as of right now, the
odds are looking minus four dollars for Max ten to one,
Filando Sergio twelve to one, Oscar eighteen to one, Lewis
at twenty to one, Charles at twenty two, Georgia twenty five,

(05:44):
and Carlo signs at twenty five as well. Interestingly, the
Aston Martins seem to be out of form as we
headed to the sales circuit. No one seems to have
any high hopes for Fernando Alonso or Martin at the
great start that they had at the start of the
season seems to have not washed away but faded quite

(06:09):
a bit, especially with McLaren bringing in terms of upgrades
that just change the entire DNA of the car, and
we say Mercedes do a similar thing with their floorboard
as well as Ferrari. There's a lot here that's coming
in and watching these teams just find their pace and

(06:30):
their form has put Acid Martin on the back foot
and stead of started to fade away from any progress
that they make. So with that in mind, you've got
to look here at what Fernando Alonso can do. I
think that Fernando Alonso has got a pretty good shot
here of pulling something off. So his top six finish

(06:50):
right now is at two to one, it's plus money.
I do like that. I liked that a lot. I've
put that in my bed slip and I'm ready to
take Fernando for a top six finished because I don't
trust either George Russell, who can get a little bit
aggressive on the track and then just loses it. Charles

(07:10):
does the same thing and said your prayers. Given what
he did at the Grand Prix a couple of weeks ago,
I just am not high. He have put the car
into an absolute somal the amount of wing changes there
to do, and then bringing him last month on the
track just so that he didn't take a penalty here.

(07:34):
There could be a lot of unset opportunities coming through
here to the sale circuit, so let's keep that in mind, right.
The other team that's ressed below Yuki sanodat thirty to
one for a top six finish. Yuki Sana has been
showing some form, not enough for a top six, but
enough for a top ten definitely, But again there are

(07:55):
too many drivers ahead of Yuki that could secure the
top ten and lock that out. Pierre Ghastly, that's a
driver we will talk about. We will talk about the
Alpine seed. Alpine seem to have lost their run, right.
They're just inconsistent, beyond a doubt. No matter what you
try to do. Every single time that you think you've

(08:17):
got a handle on Pierre Ghastly or Esteban dot com,
you just seem to get disappointed. It was like Ferrari
at the start of the season. They just can't seem
to keep up their good pace, their good run of
points consistent enough to stay there. Also in the championship,
they're in no man's land, that's where they are. They

(08:38):
just don't seem to care enough to keep consistency alive,
So I don't trust Alpine here. I am fading them.
Alex album in the Williams I think their track is
coming up soon. This track because of the medium corners
and this has got some high speed corners as well.
I will see Alex attacking this a little bit aggressfully,

(09:01):
but I just don't think that Williams sets up it's
cut out to take full advantage over here at this circuit.
So I would see Alex finishing somewhere around P thirteen
P fourteen ish, That's where I see him. The next
team down is going to be the Alpha Romeos. That
team has been a big, big disappointed from disappointment for me.

(09:25):
I thought that they were able to build a car
that was balanced in every single form factor. They've managed
to carry that out, but that balance comes at a great,
great cost of not being able to contend for any

(09:46):
points finishes. Valutri Boss and Joe Juanyu have repeatedly said
Alpha Romeo have missed their marks and goals for this season.
Given that I am fading Alpha Romeo, I just don't
trust them to give me a good all round the

(10:09):
team effort and just pulling the maximum out of that car.
There is no potential in that car whatsoever. Due to that,
I don't trust them with anything here, right, So I'm
fading them as well. And any other team that has

(10:33):
Nico Hoggenberg good that has is just really good at
one pace, right, So look at them for a good
qualifying or a sprint sprint shootout, right, that's where you
can get some value on them, because I'm looking at
the sprint shootout winner without Kevin Maxison at eight to

(10:53):
one and Nico Hogenberg at five to one. Right, this
is without Red Bull McClaren, Mercedes Ferrari asimma, I think
a five to one there on Nico is good. Again.
Sprint shootouts are one of the race race factors qualify
that I stay away from, just due to the fact

(11:14):
that that that entire day on Saturday is dedicated just
to the sprint race. So whatever they do, they will
have the actual race on Sunday in mind. But given
the fact that a lot of teams just try to
maximize the points for sprint race and then try to
survive the race on Sunday, where hass this does not

(11:34):
have any the financial backing to do. So I'm just
going to stay away from hass as well. So let's
go talk about my bet slip for this weekend. My
first one that I absolutely love is McLaren for a
double podium finish at plus two seventy five. That's a

(11:55):
great deal right there. I think Oscar Piastre, Landon Oris
are in a great form and they're doing something really great.
Ferrari double top six at plus one twenty, Landon Norris
at ten to one for a sprint race winner, and
Fernando Alonso the top six at two to one. I
think those are the best that you've got to go with.
That's gonna ride, but that's gonna be it for this
week's episode of Balling One Betting Podcast. I hope you

(12:17):
have a great day enjoying the betting weekend tomorrow
