Speaker 1 (00:00):
In my shows, I have hit record everywhere.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Hello and welcome to Waken Jake, myself, King Beeves and
Jolly are here tearing it up doing the short stops.
That's the spot man, like a short stop. You've heard Nelly,
We are gonna rank out probably the most important position

(00:36):
on a baseball field. Still doesn't really make sense, but
it does. If you've ever played ball, you know the
magnitude of that position on the field. We have not
super pregame this one, so you're gonna get some stuff
on the fly, even the naming of the tears. Just
got a text from my mom that she's at Bradley Airport.

(01:00):
That's Connecticut's airport. She's always had a dream of us
making a John Boy Media airport lounge. Don't know what
it would.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Be, don't even know like what the concept.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Is, but she said there's still room for the John
Boy Media Lounge.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
I do like that as a mom's like idea for
the company. There'd be a blitz ball set up, so
get ready for that.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Uh for now, speaking of subscribe to Warehouse Games, let's
get into the shortstops. We currently have six tiers s
t here at the top. You know that won't stay
at the bottom. Jolly had a creative idea. What what's
that called? Jolly?

Speaker 3 (01:42):
Thanks for having me on the show again, Jake, Yeah,
I had uh. He was in the news this weekend.
Our bottom tier is Kenny Pickett, as in, can he
picket Kenny Pickett? But also like Kenny Pickett, like the
football player, you know, canny. So that's the bottom kind
of defense to first. You know, we don't really know

(02:02):
the other side of their game yet, or we do
and it's kind of faded away. Jake, We've been starting
at the top a lot. Yeah, I kind of feel
like we have to again though I don't know.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
This is really tricky because one of the best right
fielders ever is playing shortstop, so it's really tough.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
He also was a highly tiered second basement for us
when that list happened.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
Yeah, that's right, Rookie's gonna be our s deer second baseman.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
I think Gunnar was the third basement when we did.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
That, and shortstop, so yeah, I guess Mookie MOOKI has
to start at the top. Yeah, because like I said,
he's an Inner Circle Hall of Famer, So I don't know.
I just had a clip go out that. Sometimes when
our social team will post some them like oh God,

(02:56):
oh God, I'm gonna I'm gonna be making that my
new catchphrase, I decide, Oh God, okay, so get ready
for that. That was tough the some of the I

(03:16):
am going to put one person with Mookie for now.
It's not the person you want yet because I think
there's some things to discuss.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
You're crazy, but.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
I think non negotiable at this moment. Two time World
Series MVP, second in m VP last year, playing one
hundred and nineteen games. Corey Seger. Uh, well, maybe he
deserves to be alone on us here if I'm being honest,
because I don't know if MOOKI is gonna pick it. Well,
I've kind of been tough on Seeger's defense of the years,

(03:51):
and he's fine. He's fine.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
Mookie is the only person that we've ranked that is
better than us at baseball and also better than us
a making based content, So he has that edge for me.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
Come on, I don't know if he's better at me
than either, but go on, see youre.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
Definitely deserves to be up there. I mean you can
kind of use injuries against him a little bit. He
only played one hundred and nineteen games last year. But
that's enough of a sample for me to say thirty
three homers still led the league in doubles after missing
forty two games, and I an ops over one thousand,
a runner up in MVP voting, he probably would have
won it if not for some other guy named Shohey.

(04:27):
So yeah, I think he definitely deserves to be up there.
I think there is an argument to be made for
him to be on an island by himself. But as
for these two and a third guy who you know,
throw the bias card at me if you want. I
think all three of these guys have kind of a
hitch that makes them equal, if that makes sense. Not
all of them have a thing that makes them the

(04:49):
perfect candidate to be number one or whatever.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
What's you said, bias? Who's who are you talking about?
And what's their hitch? I guess that's what I'm interested in.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
I'm talking about a Francisco Lindor. I watched him a lot.
He plays a lot of baseball. He's good. He went
thirty thirty last year. I think he's got a claim
to be up here in S tier. He was a
six war player last year. Thirty one homers, thirty one steals,
thirty three doubles, eight oh six ops, So a little

(05:20):
bit of a downturn from the alien numbers that Seger
put up, But for all three of these guys, I
think that's what we hone it on. I think Bets
a conversation needs to be had about the fact that
he is not a natural shortstop, and we're going to
see it for the first time. And there is a
world where Mookie Bets breaks the game of baseball and
is instantly a fantastic shortstop. I don't know how much

(05:41):
I believe that yet, but if I see it, I
don't think I'd be surprised. But we have to factor
that in Seger. I think there's a health concern. He's
going to start the year on the aisle again this year.
He's going to miss opening Day. Played one hundred and
twenty games last year. And then Lindor doesn't quite have
the offensive prowess of Seeger when he's healthy, but also
brings the platinum glove defense to the table, and you know,

(06:03):
still does pretty alright, i'd say in terms of offensive numbers.
So I don't know who I would ever pick for
number one of this trio, and that's what kind of
makes me feel like they all are kind of on
an even plane.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
Jolly, I was debating how much I could yank your chain,
and I do think there's another guy who could be
brought in the mix. But well we'll get there. Frankie Lindor,
you mentioned, you know, thirty thirty last year. The OPS
plus technically was a little better the year before, even

(06:38):
though his OPS was down right because hitting was down
across the league. He's a switch hitting as good of
a defensive shortstop as there is. He's played one hundred
and sixty plus games the past two years. You know,
Seeger's health is a real thing. Yeah, MOOKI I genuinely

(06:59):
don't know if he could the position, but what those
guys do with the bat is insanity. So in a way,
Lindor like is the s tier shortstop. But he's also
not right because yeah, Mookie really shouldn't be on this board,

(07:19):
but he is, and he's Mookie Betts, so he's at
the top of the board. That's kind of how it works,
unless it was right field. Would Ronnie that's for another time.
Would Corey Seeger supposed to be my Yankees third baseman. Instead,
he's winning World Series with the Texas Rangers and playing
shorts up, So I think that's fun. And I guess

(07:42):
chipping down the board. We haven't done a true chip
down because normally I give up and just want to
get some of the weird guys out of the way,
the first guy. And I think BBD is gonna be
really happy with this. I think I've found a two
man tier.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
Oh, I like that.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
In the next tier interesting, and I think the tier
is gonna be called Trey Turner. And I think the
two players in that tier are Trey Turner and Bobby Witt.

Speaker 3 (08:15):
Okay, I had them at the top of a tier
with company, but I want I want to hear you explain.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
So Trey Turner should have an argument for s tier, Yes,
and I think he will after the season. And Philly
fans are already a little mad. He hit twenty six
homers in thirty stone bases last year, a one eleven
oh ps plus. It was a tale of two kiddies.
His first half was not good, his second half was good.

(08:45):
They stood and cheered for him jolly as he remember
miss that he was also Captain America last year and
he went absolutely nuts. And there literally is something in
baseball to like being hot and being not And I
do think that was a part of last year that
I would not be surprised at all if Trade Turner
is a five war guy this year. Uh, if not higher,

(09:07):
how's his spring training stats? Fine, don't care. And I
guess the other argument to come off of this is
from where trade Mmm, this is delicate, from where Trey
Turner was with the Nats for a couple of years

(09:29):
there and his trade to the Dodgers initially. You know,
his full year in LA two ninety eight, three forty
three and eighth nine ops, twenty one homers, twenty seven steals.
His career numbers are a little better than the past

(09:50):
two years. Yeah, I'm not saying he's on the decline.
He is over thirty. Defensively, you'd love to have, I
guess af Offensively, I do think I would prefer Trey
Turner slightly then Lindore. But I do think Lindor has
enough with the glove that makes it a difference. But

(10:13):
I don't know. No, I see what I love what
I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
I see what you're saying, and I think there's a
little bit of the first year of the contract itis
sure with Trey Turner, the same thing that happened to
Francisco Lindor his first year in New York. He wasn't
the guy that he was, and then he turned it
up and is now back to the level that I
think a lot of people expect him to play at.
For Turner, you know the guy that was in twenty

(10:38):
twenty one and a nine to eleven ops one forty
five ops plus, bat led the league in steals and
played good defense on top of it. That player is
most certainly still in there. The problem is that this
is a twenty twenty four tier list, and like the
most recent year, I think in all of our opinions,
probably counts the most, So I think that works against

(10:58):
him a little bit. It also works in favor of
Bobby Wood Junior, who's coming off thirty thirty season, just
signed his massive deal, is probably only gonna get better.
So I understand why you have them grouped together. It's
just the three guys that I also had up there
all have a case too, so.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
You have three more bodies.

Speaker 3 (11:19):
I had three more bodies in a tier.

Speaker 2 (11:21):
Zeke Tovar he's gonna be special.

Speaker 3 (11:24):
His fault by Kelsey Winger wouldn't lie to me.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
Uh, let me look at this. I have a soft
spot for Dan's be so I'm I'm bookmarking him.

Speaker 3 (11:35):
Not one of those guys.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
You're a young man enthusiast.

Speaker 3 (11:45):
We cut that.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
Gunner Henderson is interesting because he just rookie.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
Of the year in six war season.

Speaker 2 (11:53):
Ceiling is uncapped. He's six war less, six war what.

Speaker 3 (11:59):
Play?

Speaker 2 (12:00):
His stats are kind of three point four. You're not wrong,
but that hurts my Bobby Wits a young tray turner.
But yeah, okay, my heart's open a Gunner. I don't
have much of a counter to that. I don't know
why you have bick Ahmed on the line. Okay, there's

(12:21):
a tray up discussion there, up, I think then there's
a Bobby wit Up discussion.

Speaker 3 (12:26):
It's the problems matters to me doing it. He has
an extended, like a long resume of being one of,
if not the best shortstopping balls.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
Many's thirty homer forty nine stolen based seasons. Does he?

Speaker 3 (12:41):
I think zilch?

Speaker 2 (12:42):
That's what you know, Bigger base. I thought you were
a last year again.

Speaker 3 (12:46):
I got to stand on one of the big They're big.
They are a big bace. On top of it, there
a huge face.

Speaker 2 (12:58):
Okay, you hate Dan's beak as you're Mets bias. Uh
you like Gunner? I like Gunner too crazy? Uh So
you have one more person up there?

Speaker 3 (13:08):
You can find them or unless you want me to
tell you.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
Is it JP Crawford, It's not. Who is it?

Speaker 3 (13:16):
Hassung Kim?

Speaker 2 (13:18):
Interesting?

Speaker 3 (13:19):
Hassung Kim was the Padres best player last year. Yes,
on a team with one Soto's inner Brooker's in. Fernando
tattis almost a six four season. The bat hurts them
a little bit.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
Sure, the bat still it feels capped, although he just
hit two spring training Korea homers.

Speaker 3 (13:39):
And he also almost got forty stone bases. And like shortstops, messy,
playing shortstop is different.

Speaker 2 (13:54):
Again. I always laugh. I always laugh. I hate when
I fucking say that because I don't don't always. I
always laugh.

Speaker 3 (14:04):
You like exhaling through the nose.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
Every day. I always laugh. No, in you know I
you young bloods don't really know. I spent seven years
in the business world, and everyone uses their own experience. Yeah, like,
because that's what we have. So literally whether there's a

(14:30):
business meeting or oh you hear coaches and players talk
about it when this happened. I did this watching Glabor
Torres try to play shortstop as a baseball player, and
then watching Glabor Torres try to play second base as
a baseball player. It affected his hitting significantly. And that's

(14:56):
where I had a clip going out the other day
that was like, I'm kind of rooting against Mookie and
I was like, whoa Jake put the mic away, bro,
But I'm rooting for Mookie Bets always. He's awesome short king,
one of the best to ever play baseball. Shortstop is
supposed to be this sacred thing that you're not supposed

(15:16):
to be able to just do it. You're not supposed
to be able to do it past thirty for a
lot of guys. So when I say I'm when I'm
saying I'm rooting against Mookie Bets being good at shortstop,
I still don't know what I'm saying. It hurts me
a little bit because it's just not how it's supposed
to work.

Speaker 3 (15:36):
You don't want him to break conventional wisdom of baseball.

Speaker 1 (15:40):
That you have to rewire your brain.

Speaker 2 (15:42):
Ha Song Kim had a fantastic season last year. He
did it at second base.

Speaker 3 (15:49):
That's true. No, it's worth factoring.

Speaker 2 (15:52):
So Ha Song Kim, who had his breakout offensive season
last year, which was a one ten ops, which is
a different number than a lot lot of the guys
we're gonna be talking about to see him do at
least that, because again, if he takes a step back,
you know, how far is Hassan Kim gonna be from
a Jeremy Payinna.

Speaker 3 (16:16):
I'm no, You're right, it's worth saying. It's worth discussing.

Speaker 2 (16:20):
So as much as Hassan Kim was some of the
coolest shit ever last year, chanting that around the stadium,
how he was the best, like you know, I'm how
how this player was the best teammate among Swan Soto,
Manny Machado, Xander Bogarts, Cy Young Winner, Blake Snell. I'm

(16:43):
jigglely Grapes.

Speaker 3 (16:48):
I'm sorry an Oscar worthy performance. I'm sorry, I thought
I was talking.

Speaker 2 (16:52):
I did. I did text uh, your known rival in life,
foolish Bailey before you know, I like Bailey and he
called you happy grape.

Speaker 3 (17:07):
You should have just stole that straight up.

Speaker 2 (17:09):
That's where I audible going with this Jade. I can't
put has On Kim up there until he does it
at short time, so I have.

Speaker 3 (17:16):
That different we have a conversation I have then.

Speaker 2 (17:20):
Gunner is as good as those other players.

Speaker 3 (17:22):
Gunner and Bobby for me right now are kind of equal.

Speaker 2 (17:28):
Mm.

Speaker 3 (17:30):
I think there's like a Bo Boshett discussion as well,
because he's been consistently good for a while. Conversation, but
I don't think he's like Lindor seeger Bets even like
Trey levels. If I'm being honest, he was better than
Trey last year. Objectively, he's an incredible hitter, really consistent. Offensively,

(17:54):
he's an incredible hitter. The glove is inconsistent, and it's
frustrating because he has all the talent that a shortstop
should have. Defensively, I think I know where I land. Okay,
I think I have Bobby, Gunner and Bo in a

(18:14):
I I think I bump up Trey to s.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
I'm open to that. It feels like a it feels
like a flooded.

Speaker 3 (18:27):
S tier a little bit, and that's my main concern.
But like me and Jerry did top ten n on
these players on Shay Station last year, Trey was my
number one click right, he was my number one player
above Lindor in the division. Like not that long ago.
I thought he was the better.

Speaker 2 (18:44):
Shortstop depending the rest of my team's composition. Yeah, if
I was doing a fantasy draft, Seeger, Lindor and Trey
are coin flips for me.

Speaker 3 (18:59):
Kind of, I think we circle back, but that's where
I'm leaving it for now.

Speaker 2 (19:06):
Why is Mookie Betts on this?

Speaker 3 (19:07):
It's kind of fucked up. It's like, it's kind of
harsh in my vibe, a little bit sucks. I'm a
little against it. I was call like, yeah, second base,
this is fun. Short is a little fucked up.

Speaker 1 (19:18):
I like second base. You can do quirky stuff there
sort stops freaking me out.

Speaker 3 (19:24):
Dude, it shouldn't be you shouldn't be able to do it.

Speaker 2 (19:29):
So let's elevate tray for now. Okay, I think my
favorite part of this exercise is going into my yoga voice.
So let's elevate tray for now. Let's keep it calm,
and we'll go back to the Bobby Wickcunner line.

Speaker 3 (19:43):
I always laugh.

Speaker 2 (19:44):
Those are two talented young ale players. As we try
to think of themes um. Okay Hasan Kim, you made
your argument. I shot it down. The power a thousand
suns Dansby Swanson, are they level? Dansby Swanson has went

(20:08):
back to back gold gloves at shortstop. Take your second
base gold glove, Hassan Kin gold Gloves. His ops plus
did land at ninety nine last year, which is the
second time in three years it's landed at ninety nine.
I do think there's a little you talked about the

(20:28):
first year of free agency. Ye little Wrigley, little Cubs
action wind. You know, the numbers are still fine, especially
for a gold gloves shortstop that I don't want Dansby
to get left behind. But I think if you are
talking about high end potential, I think I would rather

(20:52):
have Bobby witt Gunner and the yes tier.

Speaker 3 (20:58):
And if we want to play the game of let's
see this in actual time. During the shortstop Fiesta of signings,
if I recall correctly, Dansby was the last to go.

Speaker 2 (21:11):
He was and I was on a little bit of
a Dansby Everyone needs to chill out about Dansby because
they were mad about his arm talent. I think another
gold glove proves that's okay. Yeah, Uh, hitting wise is
interesting because I used to get on his career stats
a little bit because he is weighed down by his
first two year full years in the majors, where he

(21:32):
had true six hundred ops. But you know recent years,
you're looking at a from twenty twenty on, you're looking
at a one oh five ops plus, which is closer
to Ha Soong Kim.

Speaker 1 (21:49):
Yeah, twenty homer pace for four straight seasons.

Speaker 2 (21:52):
I kind of know what you're gonna get, which I like,
I might put him in Hasong Kim on the same
line for now below Bobby and Gunner.

Speaker 3 (22:05):
Now where you put Bo?

Speaker 1 (22:08):
Can I say another name? Who I feel like? Asong?
And just in general, no idea what to do?

Speaker 2 (22:14):
Carlos Korea, Carlos is an odd one. Carlos is an
odd one.

Speaker 3 (22:22):
Yeah, he is an odd one.

Speaker 1 (22:25):
Last year I have such an huh.

Speaker 3 (22:28):
Yeah, it wasn't good and.

Speaker 1 (22:29):
Like I know, the metrics didn't like his defense anymore.

Speaker 2 (22:32):
Well.

Speaker 3 (22:33):
Yes. In a recent athletic article that I read, there
are quotes about Korea talking about how basically he didn't
know how he was going to play every day because
his foot wasn't so much pain, and eventually he just
find his way onto the field. He's doing a lot
of like plate lit shots and stuff like that.

Speaker 2 (22:48):
So what does he have the worst ankles in the world?

Speaker 3 (22:50):
I think, And I don't think that's I don't think
that's what the entry.

Speaker 1 (22:54):
That's not what was happening last year. That's just a
long term concern. They hate his ankles.

Speaker 3 (22:59):
It was more planter fasci itis. So I think last
year is not who is But do we think he's
going to be healthy this year? That is the question
that I think Twins fans are asking themselves, along with
Buxton and Royce Lewis and those guys.

Speaker 2 (23:16):
Here's what I can do for now, and that's me
in my pawn shop voice. What is that?

Speaker 3 (23:24):
That'st I can do?

Speaker 2 (23:26):
That meme gets me? I'd say once a month. That
means that's offer to PWND stars. What a moment in society.
It was like big Dad loved Star. That was a
good uh again. You know, I outdate you guys a
little bit, but that was like a bad afternoon college
show for us. Oh there's nothing on it, nothing stars.

(23:49):
What's he gonna get for that? Enough pond stars yet?
Add check that out If you haven't, here's what I'm
gonna do for now. I'm gonna put Korea next to
Dansby and Hassan Kim, which part of me loathes, but
part of me understands. Yeah, because Korea that is currently

(24:10):
an outlier, and he's younger than you think twenty nine.
That's insane. He's been in front of me for too long. Less,
all those guys are gold glovers. Yeah, so there can
be a spin there that I'm gonna look at them
next to each other and see if I hate it.

Speaker 3 (24:31):
Jake, No, I have one more gold glover that I
think fits here perfectly.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
Nick comment, why is it who's he played for?

Speaker 3 (24:40):
Giants?

Speaker 1 (24:41):
US?

Speaker 3 (24:41):
That's gross? Yukon JP Crawford, Well, I think might have
been the best of these four. Last year one thirty
one ops plus led the American League in walks.

Speaker 2 (24:55):
Read that on base percentage three point eighty.

Speaker 3 (24:57):
Was not familiar with that part of your game. Nineteen
homers a career highest, first time going double digits last
year was I think the breakout. It's got the twenty
twenty gold Glove, but it does make naming this tier
and grouping these guys together pretty easy. In my opinion,
these four.

Speaker 2 (25:18):
JP Crawford is really tough for me, it's really good.
We may need another tier.

Speaker 3 (25:25):
Below Jake. I like, I think we're disrespecting JP Crawford
a little bit.

Speaker 2 (25:32):
Wait wait wait I'm saying above. Oh dude, led the
Ale and Walks has gold in his bag. Five war
last year.

Speaker 3 (25:45):
Even if you butter knife the last three years, it's
a one to eleven ops plus, which is better than Danceman.

Speaker 1 (25:50):
Where we where are we at right now?

Speaker 2 (25:54):
Currently? On the S tier, I have Mookie Bets. I
have MOOKI Seeger Lindor and Trey, which feels a little
wishy washy. I have a second tier that is Bobby
Witt and Gunner.

Speaker 3 (26:09):
I have Bow there as well.

Speaker 2 (26:11):
I don't I don't have Bo currently placed.

Speaker 3 (26:16):
I think he's better than the four guys we just gripped.

Speaker 2 (26:20):
You think Bo's yeah, okay, Bobby Witting Gunner, I mean
that is like MVPs in a can that has been
our like second tier.

Speaker 3 (26:31):
Yeah yeah.

Speaker 2 (26:34):
On a third line, I have Dansby, has On Kim
and Carlos Korea. JP Crawford is being discussed. I don't
hate creating a new tier that is JP Crawford and
Boba Shet is that offensive.

Speaker 3 (26:52):
I think it's a little offensive to Bow. Okay, I
know the glove is a concern for Bow, and it's
it's valid. Sure Bo's last three years, which is if
you've been listening to the tier list, that's what I do.
I do last three years one twenty four ops plus
seventy three homers, which is twenty four on average a year.

(27:16):
Doesn't get those stolen based numbers, doesn't quite play the
same defense, but has consistently been Toronto's best hitter in
the ebb and flow of Laddie a little bit. And
I think that, you know, putting up an eight in
your ops every year versus JP Crawford, who I just
sung the praises of his last three years. He's been

(27:38):
about a little bit above league average. One ten I
think was the number. I don't know. I like both.

Speaker 2 (27:47):
Life is about give and take. My mother, who I
referenced earlier in the program, used to watch Judge Judy.
That's where I learned all my legal jargon. You're not wrong,
you boba Schet's production from shortstop. Like JP Crawford. As
much as I love JP Crawford, he could hit seven

(28:08):
home runs next year. And that would not be surprised.

Speaker 3 (28:10):
Right. There's also little Mariner's ballpark fiasco there.

Speaker 2 (28:14):
You know, it's one year from JP Crawford. He's twenty nine.
I hope he runs it and continues to runs it
and gets super paid. Ooh, team friendly extension JP Crawford
through twenty twenty six. Okay, eleven eleven and twelve for
a short stop. That's pretty good.

Speaker 3 (28:35):
That was pretty good.

Speaker 2 (28:37):
I hear your Baschett argument. I'm willing to put him
on the second line like you discussed, although I think
I'd much rather have Wit or Gunner.

Speaker 3 (28:46):
Because of age or just general athletics.

Speaker 2 (28:53):
Bo Bashett has been extremely consistent. He hits a lot.
The the defense that shortstop gets to me. Yeah, because
he has all of the ability that it feels mental

(29:14):
that he hitting wise should be discussed with like Trey
and like. But he loses people with defense, which is
crazy because I've seen him make six plays and the
stolen base seems to be out of his game. He
went from twenty five and twenty one to five last year.

Speaker 3 (29:36):
I have an idea Okay, s tier Mookie seeger lindor
sure a tier Trey and Bow and then like below
that because they're young and they've only had one season.
Wit and Gunner it's only been one season.

Speaker 2 (29:57):
But that I can use that as these are these
guys were super prospects. Yes, it's not like it's one season.
Let's see if the league adjusts. I think it's one season.
Like where's this gonna land?

Speaker 3 (30:08):
Only up from here?

Speaker 2 (30:11):
Shit like Bobby Witte did he get keep clicking his
dad's baseball reference page. Bobby Witt junior at twenty three,
finished seventh in the MVP left shoes. This is tough,
Like I don't want to get the Royals fans do
not like being a rowdy bunch. But if you don't

(30:32):
respect Bobby Wit.

Speaker 3 (30:33):
Mild Man Folk fifteen caught stealing let mob. You don't
care about efficiency, you're selling piler, I don't. It's all
you care.

Speaker 2 (30:45):
Not in Kansas City like Gunner. Okay, I'm gonna leave
all of that for now. Got four three three conditional
soccer starting lineup at the pee wee level. Okay, come
back to it.

Speaker 3 (31:02):
Where JP land for you? I have a four three
four JP.

Speaker 2 (31:08):
And the bunch that's probably unfortunately fair.

Speaker 1 (31:11):
Yeah, I have four two five We get bumped bow up.

Speaker 2 (31:16):
Bo Is now on the second tier. I am way
a b tears nice. My sim My sim character would
currently have like a note on his head that's like
frustrated bow is with them, So we'll see if that
gets changed.

Speaker 3 (31:34):
I have a candidate for just a tier in the
middle by himself.

Speaker 2 (31:40):
Hm hmm. That's a plot twist I didn't see coming.

Speaker 1 (31:45):
I have.

Speaker 3 (31:45):
I can't put Willia Damas with the eleven guys that
are in front of him, but with some of the
guys behind him. I think he's still better than but
I think he is Uh the page turn to the
next group of shortstops because he's kind of weird.

Speaker 2 (32:07):
This is where I might bite back, Charlie, we're clashing
this second.

Speaker 1 (32:12):
I can't believe we haven't said Willia Domis's nke.

Speaker 2 (32:14):
Williadomas's last year is the outlier. Yeah, you want to
talk shortstop Homers, I'm bo. I love bobashit. That's what
you were just doing. I love I have evidence Willia
Domas Homers twenty four last year in a down year,

(32:39):
thirty one the year before the thirty twenty five the
year before that.

Speaker 3 (32:43):
To ninety eight on base percentage in the thirty one year.

Speaker 2 (32:47):
He's twenty eight years old.

Speaker 3 (32:49):
He is twenty eight years old. Is is he on
the same level as Dansby? Are those guys interchangeable to you?
Because I don't think they are?

Speaker 2 (33:02):
Three War last year, eighteen point four career war.

Speaker 3 (33:07):
I hate you, I'm sorry, but like, if this is
what we're doing, like he's not this defensively gifted shortstop
like some of the other guys. Will he can pick
it will Will he can pick it, will he can
pick it not. But I'm when I think of Hassan Kim,
when I think of Dansby, even when I think of Correa.
Still like those guys were all candidates for best grow

(33:33):
all world defenders. I don't hate moving Willy yep, But
I wanted to air out the discussion because we didn't
talk about him, and I think there was a reason.

Speaker 2 (33:40):
We if we had done this tierless last year. Willie
Damas's last three seasons two fifty one, three, nineteen A
seven ninety ops one seventeen ops plus.

Speaker 3 (33:51):
Well, what's the most important year last year?

Speaker 2 (33:56):
Tell that? Tell that to Bobby and Gunner Pop. That's
what I've been saying.

Speaker 3 (34:01):
Kind of like that we're barking at each other this episode.

Speaker 2 (34:05):
I hate it.

Speaker 3 (34:07):
Are just agree the entire time.

Speaker 1 (34:09):
Wish you were foolish.

Speaker 2 (34:13):
I didn't. Sorry, next week's just do another shirt. I mean,
how funny. How far off are WILLI and Karre at
this point?

Speaker 3 (34:26):
No, that's a good point because last year is the
most important year.

Speaker 2 (34:30):
I mean, very similar offensive profile last year.

Speaker 3 (34:34):
Are WILLI and Korea on a tier together?

Speaker 2 (34:40):
I can't believe we haven't gotten to the NL Central
free shows yet?

Speaker 1 (34:45):
Yeah, all right, I found like a low down tier
that I'm interested in, But.

Speaker 2 (34:53):
I just hit, let's put Willie with B I think
we have to put him there.

Speaker 1 (34:58):
Now, we'll circle back act.

Speaker 3 (35:02):
Is fat right now? A lot of talent there, a
lot of talent.

Speaker 2 (35:06):
A little chunky, a little chunky old rap and name.

Speaker 1 (35:11):
I do think more God, there will be more guys
than a tier above and below, so I'd put them
in what we currently have as a D tier for now.
He might add tears. Still, I think there's something we
said for young guys who's now seen full years from him.
We know they at least field, but that's they more
promise than a Kenny Pickett.

Speaker 2 (35:32):
Yeah, young guys that were pretty interested.

Speaker 1 (35:34):
In, and that would be Anthony Volpy, C j Abram,
Zeke Tovar.

Speaker 3 (35:42):
I'm interested in zach Nido.

Speaker 1 (35:45):
Have I seen enough? I'm interested. I'm interested in oil Cruise.
I'm curious if we think we've seen enough.

Speaker 2 (35:53):
I think they need.

Speaker 1 (35:56):
A cruise tier yero. Yeah, and that that's kind of
a sneak.

Speaker 3 (36:02):
Young guys are interested in how the yuo for a rookie.

Speaker 1 (36:05):
Cj Abrams, he fields and is at least hitting a
little bit.

Speaker 2 (36:11):
Cj Abrams is interesting for me because he could possibly
be a tier above. I'm gonna put him on that
line for now. Cj Abrams kind of sorry to click
a little bit. Last year.

Speaker 1 (36:21):
It was a little bit of some special running stuff
that the other guys don't quite have yet.

Speaker 2 (36:27):
Man, we are starting to get this weird veteran hot track.

Speaker 1 (36:30):
Oh and does Jeremy Paine you need to be in
that because he at least fields. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (36:34):
It's it's interesting because we assume more from Payina, but
he didn't really have a good years kind.

Speaker 1 (36:40):
Of he's kind of now had had two years that
are like you look at the numbers and there it's like, oh.

Speaker 2 (36:46):
His regular season stats are not that impressive and that's fair.

Speaker 1 (36:51):
But I put him in that tier for now to
thinnis out a little bit. It's a malleable situation.

Speaker 2 (36:58):
Yeah, I'm fine with that. He's he showed me some stuff.

Speaker 3 (37:00):
First three seven to seventy ops play good defense?

Speaker 2 (37:04):
Is Pardomo on that line? Oh his stat's really faded
at the end.

Speaker 1 (37:09):
So I kind of him not that interested. That's so mean.

Speaker 2 (37:13):
He's still very young.

Speaker 1 (37:14):
He is young, but they have other short steps.

Speaker 3 (37:16):
They Yeah, he might have there, but I mean.

Speaker 1 (37:21):
I feel bad about everything I'm saying because I.

Speaker 2 (37:23):
Do like it again for a twenty three year old shortstop,
a ninety six ops plus, Like it's tough because there
was a time when he was straight up killing it.

Speaker 3 (37:34):
Yeah, like he deserved to be an All Star at
the time.

Speaker 2 (37:37):
Similar ops plus to Penya ninety five from Payina.

Speaker 3 (37:41):
And it wasn't he like nuts in the playoffs too.

Speaker 1 (37:44):
Some of that is like split stuff, like to let
him face some more lefties and he got eaten.

Speaker 3 (37:48):
Yeah, he was a little bit of a platoon guy.

Speaker 1 (37:50):
It's like, I think if they let him just face
arieties and lefties, wasn't if you were to just platoon him.
I think his numbers land in a good place.

Speaker 3 (37:59):
Seven thirty six against righty's, five seventy nine against lefties.

Speaker 1 (38:03):
I thought it was better verse right.

Speaker 2 (38:04):
I'm going to add a row right, better right towards.

Speaker 1 (38:10):
I thought he was the sets would be better. I
thought he'd be like in the.

Speaker 2 (38:13):
E I'm gonna put a row below this row of
kids we currently have and just say straight up unknown rookies. Oh,
because I'm looking at Mason Wynn, who hey supposed to
have all the arm strength in the world. Sure, no
idea if you're going to hit at the MLB level.
I just don't know. I believe this is Brian Rocchio

(38:36):
with the Guardians Arius.

Speaker 1 (38:38):
This was currently penciled in same story.

Speaker 3 (38:41):
I watched him picket yesterday at the game. Okay, sorry, okay,
are you mad at me?

Speaker 2 (38:48):
They're just unknown? No, they're rookie shortstops.

Speaker 3 (38:52):
I have no clue.

Speaker 2 (38:55):
He can pick it.

Speaker 3 (38:56):
He can pick it.

Speaker 2 (38:57):
He can pick it, Nick Allen, he can pick.

Speaker 3 (38:59):
It's a young guy on.

Speaker 2 (39:02):
Yeah, he's the A's player that looks like a little.

Speaker 3 (39:05):
I thought you put off in here for a second.

Speaker 2 (39:06):
I was like, stop, sorry, we don't do a little
bit crazy. Kenny Pickett he still does Like I remember
watching Tiger plays last year and it's like, wait, he's
still giving an effort on defense. He just does this
at the plate.

Speaker 3 (39:21):
Now, Tim Anderson, can we pick it young?

Speaker 1 (39:24):
Kenny Picket is the metrics select the Young's glove. He's
down there.

Speaker 2 (39:30):
Oh yeah, the young's picking it.

Speaker 1 (39:32):
I think the young still picks it.

Speaker 3 (39:33):
For the White Sox.

Speaker 2 (39:36):
Okay, he's a starter, right, Jolly, we're we're entering a
fun area.

Speaker 3 (39:41):
We did that nice and quick. That was good.

Speaker 2 (39:43):
Yeah, we check. I am gonna have to turn to
you because you are an expert on this team, the
Atlanta Braids. Yeah, Orlando Arcia last year was an All Star,

(40:04):
faded down the stretch ninety eight ops plus. A year
before that in limited games, hit around league average. Kind
of ironically, in twenty twenty, hit closer to league average
than you'd expect. The Braves magic felt like it wore
off at a boy, he can pick it? Where should

(40:26):
he be?

Speaker 1 (40:28):
So?

Speaker 3 (40:30):
I think we talked about putting the Cruise guys together,
and there's a fun tier name in there, and I'm
kind of trying to figure out whether or not Arcia
lands above or below those guys, right, now I have
it as above because he's played for a while and
that matters to me. He was an All Star last
year and he's still had seventeen home runs and what

(40:52):
considered to be a slowed down year towards the end
last year, his war was one point six hm hmm,
that's what's what's that homing?

Speaker 2 (41:08):
I was interested where I'm going to land on this,
and I still am, but I.

Speaker 3 (41:13):
I don't know because I have I don't know about that.

Speaker 2 (41:16):
I have company with him, and did you pair him
with That's what I'm interested in it.

Speaker 3 (41:21):
That's kind of crazy that they're together because this sentence
even two years ago would have been absurd. Right our
Trevor's story in Orlando Arcia on the same tier right.

Speaker 2 (41:37):
Now, So we're juggling a few things here, like because
what the hell do you do with Tim Anderson?

Speaker 3 (41:44):
I haven't he kind of a bad last year? Is
bad last year?

Speaker 2 (41:50):
I think you just put Candy Pickett fully lost away
from it, and I hope it's just wrong.

Speaker 3 (41:57):
A five eighty two ops and one hundred and twenty
one home run.

Speaker 1 (42:01):
Played, well, you add the like half here before that too.

Speaker 2 (42:05):
What Trevor story do.

Speaker 3 (42:06):
Offensively negative to war last year.

Speaker 2 (42:09):
Trevor Story do offensively last year?

Speaker 3 (42:11):
Okay, just curious he wasn't good Jake? Was he hurt?

Speaker 2 (42:16):
Maybe Tim Tim Anderson?

Speaker 3 (42:19):
I don't think. Was Tim Anderson hurt?

Speaker 2 (42:21):
Got punched, he didn't get.

Speaker 3 (42:22):
Funny played the next day.

Speaker 1 (42:24):
I'm pretty sure sold he sold a little bit ripkenobio.

Speaker 2 (42:30):
I have a little bit of Trevor story stock for
this year, and I have no Tim Anderson stock.

Speaker 3 (42:35):
I have no Tim Anderson stock. I like the fit.
I think everybody kind of liked it, or like, when
is Tim Anderson sign with the Marlins? And then it happened?

Speaker 1 (42:42):
Yeah, it was surprising that it was guaranteed MLB deal
for five million backs shocked me. Great agent work, I think,
so better.

Speaker 3 (42:49):
Than Boris maybe so. Now it becomes a matter.

Speaker 1 (42:52):
Of catch on Julia's money, Arcia.

Speaker 3 (42:55):
And Story above or below the cruise guys and that
kind of complete it's the bottom half for me or
everything below.

Speaker 2 (43:04):
B Okay, So where do you think Elie da La
Cruz and O'Neil Cruz.

Speaker 3 (43:12):
Go Like I think they're going to go off this year.
I really do think they're going to be great. And
I don't think that Rcia and Story are going to
be great this year. I think they can be good,
and I think they have the resumes that warrant them
being higher. But this is a twenty twenty four tier list,

(43:36):
and I think if you asked either of those teams, hey,
would you rather have this guy or one of the
Cruise guys? They would probably say the six to six
Dominican infielder. So I think I'm putting the Cruise brothers
not brothers above them. What a secret imagine?

Speaker 1 (43:52):
I because how would we pick those two guys above
the young and I want to see more?

Speaker 3 (44:00):
I would Yeah, okay, I'm way more interested in them
than any of those guys off.

Speaker 2 (44:05):
Sorry, no, I think it's fair. I think it's This
is where the question really kicks in. Who would you
rather have for this season? Obviously there's some crazy injury
stuff that it seemed kind of fluky with O'Neil Cruz
that you just hope that's out the window this year.

(44:25):
Ellie got punched in the face by baseball, But I
kind of love that. I just wanted Matt McClain to
get the love he deserved last year. Yeah, sorry, he's
five eight. Everyone is all in on those guys this year.
I have no problem also being all in on them.

Speaker 3 (44:45):
Man story, they feel gross together. It feels wrong, but
it's just been so long since we've seen storyby story.

Speaker 2 (44:58):
If I could the nah would can you put Ourcio
with all the kids?

Speaker 3 (45:08):
Oh see, young? Are you excited about Orlando Arcia? I
don't think I am. But you can't put him in
Kenny Pickett. You can't because he was good.

Speaker 1 (45:23):
He was a piece of the team, like the Braves
identified the like, Oh, he's just he need he was
missing something.

Speaker 3 (45:29):
He got a car stops like they you know, it
was a small contract, but still they paid him to
be the shortstop.

Speaker 1 (45:38):
They had young kids they were choosing, so it's not.

Speaker 3 (45:41):
Like there's anyone breathing down his shoulder or whatever.

Speaker 2 (45:45):
The Braves believe in him, which is always scary. The
unknown rookies, I think they just land together. They're just together.

Speaker 1 (45:56):
I think they're just they kind of are just together.

Speaker 3 (45:58):
These guys shouldn't be together. They are.

Speaker 1 (46:00):
It does It feels like they either need a third.
It feels weird that they're hanging out one on one,
But I don't know who.

Speaker 3 (46:07):
That is the third. Jeremy Pinya. No, yeah, who cawed.
I mean he's been in the league longer than everybody
else in his tier, the one World Series MVP, which matters.

Speaker 2 (46:21):
So you hate this, but I thought Tim Anderson was
a decent fit on there.

Speaker 3 (46:27):
Oh boy, I would have to move them below. Young
guys are interested in.

Speaker 2 (46:33):
I know this is impossible, but if you erase Tim
Anderson's last season, I'm listening, it all looks delightful.

Speaker 3 (46:51):
We like Tim Anderson.

Speaker 2 (46:52):
Can can one bad year happen in base He.

Speaker 3 (46:55):
Was so good in twenty twenty one, he hit three
h nine.

Speaker 1 (46:59):
I think it's for just half of twenty two, is okay?
Doesn't feel like a third for Heaven's story. Okay, him
and the Tim Anderson's stories in like a bounce back guy.

Speaker 3 (47:13):
So are we saying interested? Are we saying that they
are below young guys were interested in? Because then I'm
okay with it. I think so because unfore, I mean
it feels a little unfair of Arcia, who basically just
had his best year, played the full season. Ker Heinholmer's

(47:33):
got the contract, But I think I'd still prefer the
young other guys.

Speaker 2 (47:39):
The other guys have much better full resumes, t A
and story.

Speaker 3 (47:44):
Yeah, so what do we call it? You've got the
resume or something.

Speaker 2 (47:52):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (47:53):
I think I understand the grouping a little bit. I
understand it.

Speaker 2 (47:57):
I realize in a month Anderson could be completely off
this board and that's it.

Speaker 1 (48:03):
Yeah, he's like at an O for April, away from
like never playing in the bigs.

Speaker 2 (48:09):
Trevor's story needs to do something.

Speaker 1 (48:15):
At least he's like locked in and if he's picking, yeah, I.

Speaker 2 (48:17):
Can figure that out.

Speaker 3 (48:20):
You know what would have been perfect? Okay, Story and
Anderson together and it's twenty twenty one Top ten short step.

Speaker 2 (48:29):
Arci loves himself. I'm fairly good with this. The top
of the list still gives mebbs.

Speaker 1 (48:43):
So we did move? Did we move them below the
young guys?

Speaker 3 (48:46):
I have them below, I have them below that, and
then above the young guys, I have exciting six to
six Dominican infielder from the Enel Central and it's the
cruise guys.

Speaker 2 (48:54):
I labeled that cruise sure cruising cruising. Uh, that's a layup, man,
Mookie Seeger, Lindor and Trey.

Speaker 3 (49:10):
We're back here. We've got time to kill.

Speaker 2 (49:13):
Am I good with that we've.

Speaker 3 (49:14):
Got time, and Bee's kind of fat.

Speaker 2 (49:18):
How far is Trey from Dansby Far?

Speaker 3 (49:21):
I know you're on bow and a, but like a
tire looks fine to me.

Speaker 2 (49:26):
I have him in a.

Speaker 3 (49:27):
It just you're upset.

Speaker 2 (49:29):
Sometimes I forget how young Bo is and I get
frustrated with his defense a little bit.

Speaker 3 (49:33):
It's really good.

Speaker 2 (49:34):
Where I I guess. This is what I'll say. I
think I know what Bobashett is. Gunner and Bobby might
be in different worlds, but we don't know they are.
But we don't know, so I understand that. And sometimes
the grass isn't always greener, so I get that very philosophical.

Speaker 3 (49:55):
Sometimes it's tough.

Speaker 1 (49:57):
Uh, Are we like weirded out that? Like we have
four guys an s Tier and like all of them,
like none of them. We're looking at her like that's
the perfect short stop, Like baseball just kind of doesn't
have that.

Speaker 3 (50:10):
Right now, Here's what I'll say.

Speaker 1 (50:12):
I wouldn't have had that coming into this exer.

Speaker 2 (50:14):
You'll never be Jeter Tier. You don't like that.

Speaker 3 (50:19):
Corey Seeker might be better. If I were to move
one up and put him on his own plane, I
think it would be Corey Seeker, but I don't know
that I want to do that. I think I could,
and then maybe you'd feel a little bit better about
those three guys together. But are we crowning Corey Seeger

(50:43):
number one in baseball?

Speaker 2 (50:45):
Anointing Corey Seeker because.

Speaker 3 (50:47):
I don't think we've done alone at the top kind
of thing. A lot of these tier lists.

Speaker 2 (50:52):
I think like it was Mookie Betts at second.

Speaker 3 (50:54):
And now that doesn't count, so.

Speaker 2 (50:56):
It's just illegal and wrong.

Speaker 3 (50:59):
Great thinks Mookie.

Speaker 2 (51:04):
Everything aside, contract everything. I guess I was gonna I
was gonna say injury, but that's that's not fair.

Speaker 3 (51:15):
If we're not factoring injury, then I think it is secret.

Speaker 1 (51:18):
It would be I think it would be Seager if
we don't care about injury. He has played one season
that i'd call a full season.

Speaker 2 (51:26):
Shortstops, I'm not elevating him short gotta play Corey Seger's
twenty twenty two he had a one to seventeen oh
ps first year with the team for fifty games.

Speaker 1 (51:37):
Yeah, really is a thing. And then and that's the
one like full year he's given.

Speaker 2 (51:43):
And then there's a lot of injury.

Speaker 1 (51:46):
Or pandemic, not basically the full year.

Speaker 2 (51:49):
Or the performance is much more in line with the
other guys. So no, I don't think he deserves to
be elevated to I think this is your rest here, okay,
I think this is what it is. A damn you Mookie.

Speaker 3 (52:03):
He kind of makes it bloated.

Speaker 2 (52:06):
At damn you Mookie. Uh, I'm not mad.

Speaker 3 (52:09):
I don't think we've had a fat S tier, have we?

Speaker 2 (52:11):
So I've got it just feels like the S tier
has everything, Like you've got the lefty hitter, shortstop MM
two time World Series MVP, by the way, got indoor

(52:32):
switch hitting, speed and power and defense, oh my, Trey Turner,
the righty speed power defense is fine. And then Mookie
Betts is.

Speaker 1 (52:48):
Just they're all goaded?

Speaker 3 (52:53):
Are they all three hundred million dollars men? I think
they all are, right.

Speaker 1 (52:57):
I think they all have three hundred million dollars.

Speaker 2 (53:00):
I think all those men have three hundred million. I
think that's for a reason. Three hundred million dollar men.

Speaker 3 (53:07):
Three hundred million dollars well spent.

Speaker 2 (53:10):
Pretty much.

Speaker 3 (53:11):
That's what I have it as because I like all
those contracts.

Speaker 2 (53:15):
It's Bobby wits contract to eighty eight. Not so fast,
my friend, that's so fast. Broke boy. Yeah, oh, you
don't want to throw your card in huh.

Speaker 3 (53:34):
Uh what do you do with A and B? I
feel like we're making another tier here.

Speaker 2 (53:43):
Willy Damas really does hurt the gold glove thing?

Speaker 1 (53:45):
Huh?

Speaker 2 (53:47):
And you hate Willy Damas.

Speaker 3 (53:48):
I like Willy Damas m saved him from the trap?

Speaker 2 (53:58):
Uh what about something along the lines of this sounds
really dumb. I'm listening because next year's season affects them,
affects every player a lot. But like if Dansby goes

(54:22):
back to being a one to fifteen oh ps plus
with another gold Glove, he goes up. If Hassan Kim
does what he did last year at shortstop, he goes up.
If Correa and Willie return to form, they go up.
And JP Crawford just has the one year.

Speaker 3 (54:42):
Really but if he does it again.

Speaker 2 (54:46):
That this is like the It's like the escalator tier.

Speaker 3 (54:51):
The I don't know, like climbing the ladder.

Speaker 2 (54:56):
Broken elevator, will it get fixed?

Speaker 1 (55:00):
I don't know what to say about Korea.

Speaker 2 (55:04):
I mean, Korea is a good year away from being
like that elite Kara is a bad year away from
being like holy shit.

Speaker 3 (55:12):
But I think that like the twins are expecting him
to be like one of the players.

Speaker 2 (55:19):
Yeah, yeah, Oh they love Eddie and Royce a lot
of voice Buck Daddy hy Man Korea. I don't know
what you do with either of those guys. Kind of
crazy they're on the same rooster.

Speaker 3 (55:36):
Ah okay, these eight guys are hurting my brain a
little bit.

Speaker 2 (55:42):
Uh what do we call the Vulpi Tovar, Nido, Cabiero, Abrams,
paina perdomo, tier, Young, dumb and Broke. Shout out to
who's that Collid Khalid?

Speaker 3 (55:59):
Yeah, Penya Broke. Do you get paid you? Yeah? Abs
a contract?

Speaker 2 (56:06):
Young?

Speaker 1 (56:07):
We had that as young guys were interested in right,
like young and I want to see more. Jeremy Pana
has not gotten paid.

Speaker 3 (56:16):
Abram is still forty seven basis one of.

Speaker 2 (56:18):
These guys are paid. Yeah, Abrams. I think Abrams is
the one one on this line currently, but I don't
think he deserves to be anywhere else.

Speaker 3 (56:28):
Could be one day.

Speaker 1 (56:31):
I'll put him at the front of the line there.

Speaker 2 (56:34):
Uh, I can't even look at story rc and Anderson.

Speaker 3 (56:41):
I have that as you've got the resume, but I'm
open to change it.

Speaker 1 (56:44):
I might label it like don't look at this line.

Speaker 2 (56:48):
That's fine. I don't look at this line. This line
please just hurt us more than it hurt you. Put it.
Please on there, it would make me feel better.

Speaker 3 (56:57):
Don't look at this please, uh unknown rookies below them
and then Kenny pick.

Speaker 2 (57:05):
Maybe maybe above. Don't look at this line is just hope. Yeah,
you don't have to be too crazy sometimes, just hope.

Speaker 3 (57:14):
We do hope with a period, makeet dramatic.

Speaker 2 (57:17):
That is dramatic, cruising hope, cruise.

Speaker 3 (57:22):
Don't look at the line hope.

Speaker 1 (57:26):
Uh, don we do cold?

Speaker 2 (57:35):
I just feel where's gold?

Speaker 3 (57:39):
Does Bobby Wit and Gunner need to be their own tear?

Speaker 2 (57:43):
Do jolly? Don't don't? No no.

Speaker 1 (57:51):
Bad jolly Bobby Witting Gunner going all the way back.

Speaker 2 (57:56):
I've been saying that I know you because convinced me.
I just became fine with.

Speaker 3 (58:03):
Don't you think the Blue Jays would want either of
those guys over bow?

Speaker 2 (58:06):
Easily?

Speaker 1 (58:08):
You'd pick those two guys over Bow.

Speaker 3 (58:10):
Wouldn't you.

Speaker 2 (58:11):
Here's what Here's what convinced me, And it kind of
goes with the top line, Boba, shit, I I know
what I'm.

Speaker 1 (58:19):
I think I think they're just better. Is it's a
bow coming down and like elevating a couple of guys
from b what to be with bo to be with Bow.
It's something about reliability, like I'm banking on it, and
that would leave like you're probably Hasan Kim, JP Crawford

(58:43):
and adamis behind is like one more year and I'm
and I believe.

Speaker 2 (58:49):
If you're offering me a Bow and Dansby line, I
think I would take it.

Speaker 1 (58:57):
I think I am offering that.

Speaker 3 (58:58):
You're gonna be so mad at that.

Speaker 2 (59:00):
Why's that? Because Bow mashes but Dansby fields and hits enough.

Speaker 3 (59:07):
Let's do it. I think that's where I think they
need to be on their own tier because they are
just like they're special young players and bo is.

Speaker 2 (59:16):
We'll get swept in that category with Gunner and Bobby.

Speaker 3 (59:23):
So it's Bow Dansby. There's Koreas staying below, and Korea
stays below.

Speaker 1 (59:33):
You hate that.

Speaker 2 (59:35):
Now.

Speaker 3 (59:35):
I'm just conflicted. It's weird that the top of this
I thought was easier than like the mid top, like
the guys after the top five or whatever.

Speaker 2 (59:45):
Who would you rather have next year career? Hassan Kim,
right has Sung Cam I think, but that could be wrong,
that I could be wrong, totally, totally. Would you rather
have hass On Kim or Dansby Swanson? Really? Yeah, I'd
rather have Dance.

Speaker 3 (01:00:06):
So you'd rather have Dansby over haws On Kim. But
hass On Kim over Korea.

Speaker 2 (01:00:11):
Hassan Kim Korea is some sick devil magic. That's not
a question people were supposed to answer in this lifetime.

Speaker 3 (01:00:18):
Let's wrap this ship up.

Speaker 2 (01:00:20):
Dansby and uh wood and Leather, Wooden, Leather love it.
That's how they get by. I think that second tier
is just future m vps. I think we've done that
a couple of times.

Speaker 3 (01:00:36):
Future MVP winners. I'm down then that that leftover beats
here is that the gold club.

Speaker 2 (01:00:43):
I had that wears gold because Kim and JP have
gold and the Brewers actually wear gold.

Speaker 3 (01:00:51):
Also, I undersold Adonis a little bit before. He was
like ninety ninth percentile that average.

Speaker 1 (01:00:57):
He's good defense.

Speaker 2 (01:00:59):
Here's nice.

Speaker 3 (01:01:00):
That's usually the one that I look at the most, just.

Speaker 1 (01:01:03):
Because like sense office, where's cold?

Speaker 3 (01:01:06):
It makes the most sense in my brain. There's a
three more player here. Okay, so where's.

Speaker 2 (01:01:12):
Gold wrapping up for the people?

Speaker 1 (01:01:15):
Wow?

Speaker 2 (01:01:16):
Three hundred million dollar men? Mookie bets Corey Seeger, Frankie
Lindor and Trey Turner Captain America, your Future MVPs Bobby Wit, Gunner, Henderson,
Wooden Leather, Bobashett and Dansby Swanson. Where's gold Hassan Kim

(01:01:36):
Carlos Korea, JP Crawford and Willie Adamis cruising, Ellie and
O'Neill man Captain and t'aneil Hope period, Anthony Volpi, Ezekiel
Too var zach Nido Say, Cabby Yerro, how'd you get
on that line? Sick puppy.

Speaker 1 (01:01:56):
I gotta get into the beck Sick puppy.

Speaker 2 (01:01:59):
Cj Abrams, Jeremy Panna and Geraldo Perdomo. Don't look at
this line, please, Trevor Story, Orlando Garcia and Tim Anderson,
unknown Rookies, Mason Wynn and whoever you have playing for
your Cleveland Guardians Arius and Rookio and can you pick it?

(01:02:21):
Yes he can, Nick Ahmed, Nick Allen, Hobby Bias and
my god, is that Paul de Young.

Speaker 3 (01:02:29):
In the Year of Our Lord twenty twenty.

Speaker 2 (01:02:30):
