uh huh, I show will a good morning everybody, y'all

(02:05):
listening to the voice, come on dig me now, one
and only Steve Harvey Man got a radio show. How
good is God? Hum think about it? Just take a
slight inventory of your own life and say it to
yourself when you get through, how good is God? Think
of all the small things. All this is because that's him.
You breathe, that's him. You steal him. That's him. You

(02:27):
got another chance? That's him. You ain't out of here.
That's him. You got any measure of health, that's him.
You think it's more to it than it really is.
That it already showed up to be. That's him. All
of that. You got any dreams or aspirations, you dream
of other things, that's him. All that, that's him. That's

(02:47):
him him close you got, that's him every time you eat.
That's why they had this thing called you say your grace.
That's him. That's him, man, that's him. It's amazing. When
you take a small inventory you find out how big
God really is in your life. Now, the more you
turn yourself over to him, the bigger he can be.
For you. See, he'll only be as big as you

(03:08):
let him. It's one thing about God. Now, he's a gentleman.
He can make you do anything. You know. You get
too big for him, you know you you you, you
lose your humbleness. He can humble you. Now. God created
man with the power of choice. We're the only creature

(03:29):
he created that. He gave us the total power of
choice when we made who we mate with. You know everything,
all of it. Man. It's a choice what we want
to be, how much you want to make, Where we
want to live, what climate we want to live in.
We can live in cold climates, high climates. You know,
we speak different languages. You can go learn another language.

(03:52):
A bear can't do nothing but be a bear. He
can't go learn how to be a fox. He can't
go learn how to be an artor he just can't.
An ostrich is an ostrich man. He can't come out
of here and fight like a lion. A lion is
a lion. A lion eat meat. He can't eat vegetables.
I don't care how much meat ain't around. He'll lay

(04:15):
down and pull up out of here and die because
he can't eat grass. He's just a lion man. You
understand this that God gave us. We are the one
creature he created that has total power of choice. You
can make every decision in your life. What kind of
watch you like? That's the one you can buy. You
want to live in Switzerland, go ahead. You don't like Switzerland,

(04:39):
you can move to Miami. You want to live your
life a crime, go ahead. That's you. He gave you
the power of choice. You want to do right? Come on,
So now look at this thing. We are all the
results of a series of decision that we have made.

(05:02):
If we could just identify that the problem is us,
we could began the solution. See that's the problem, y'all,
it's us. It's what we do. I threw my life
down the hill. I can't tell you how many years
based on some decisions that I was making. Now I

(05:22):
can justify my decision with I wasn't happy and I
was doing this and I was in misery, and y'all
on thee and yes to you when you get through.
You made the decisions though, and you can look at
this anywhere you want to, y'all. But at the end
of the day, I'm just talking to people that's really
really wanting to improve their position in life. And how
do you do that? You got to have a solution.

(05:45):
How do you come up with a solution? You got
to identify the problem to even began to solve it.
But if the problem ain't ever you, how are you
gonna solve something that ain't you? See? Okay, let me
look at this one. If somebody said, like I got

(06:08):
a child of mine, man, I just do right here. Man,
I don't even wanna get into it. This morning. Well
I'm struggling with this this boy. But man, you go
to people, you're asking why they do so? I just
I just wasn't taking care of business. Why I just
didn't take care of business? Boy, do you understand that

(06:28):
your life is gonna be filled with you got to
take care of business. So when you're gonna start, you
know what, man, you can't. You can't. You can't go
through life blaming everybody. It's got to be you. See,
you can fix you. You can't fix nobody else if
you keep getting married and the marriages don't work. Hello, Hello, Hello,

(06:49):
could it be you? South? Finally had to sit down
and just make that decision. They don't need be coming
on the radio talking about nobody else and what they
did to me, and y'all just don't know. No, no, no, man,
what about the part you played in it? Because see,
if you got a good marriage, you got a part
to play in that. If you got a bad one,
you got a part to play in that. Even if

(07:12):
it just get down to you the one pick them,
how about that? Mister, mister, I made a decision. The
problem is usually within yourself. Do you know That's the quickest,
an easy way to fix your life. That way, you
ain't got to check with nobody. Here's the beauty of
going on and admitting that is you. You don't have
to check or clear it with nobody to start the

(07:34):
repair process. You don't need anybody's permission. You ain't got
to put it before the review board to see if
it'll pass. It ain't got to go through Congress. You
ain't got to hope that your local politician get their
hands on it to make a phone call for you.
You ain't got to ask any counselors to come in
and sit with you. You don't have to check in
to rehab. All you got to do is decide the

(07:56):
problem is me. I'm gonna start changing me. Identify the problem,
and start with the part that you can own up to.
Once you identify the problem, you can start planning on
how to fix it or how to get to accomplishing something.

(08:18):
But remember this planning is important. If you fail to plan,
then please plan to fail. If you don't know how
to make a plan, let's just start with the basics.
Just make a list of what you want. Make this
list and then go to God in prayer with an

(08:39):
open mind and open your mind up to all the
clean opportunities that are available here. Why a lot of
people won't succeed because certain opportunities come along you don't
want to do them. That kills me. Man, when I
hear here, I ain't doing that. I know young comedians
that come to me all the time. I'm talking about. Man,

(09:01):
what you're not saying, Man, just take every gig you
can no matter what they pay. Well, listen to me, son,
you can go make that money that they pay, or
you can make the decision to sit at home and
make no money. It's a comedy, a hard business. They
ain't paying but one hundred dollars. You gotta drive, drive
fifty miles. But if you drive fifty miles and you

(09:23):
make the hundred and you stand on that stage for
thirty minutes, you are now thirty minutes better than you
was the last time you went on stage. Oh, man,
I ain't man, they don't pay me. I ain't coming.
You ain't going to be a comedian, man, not not
like this. Hell, A lot of people just don't want
to do what's necessary to do. So when the opportunity

(09:45):
presents itself and you open up your mind to it, man,
then get ready to go on and do it. Man,
identify your problem today, start with the part dash you show.
Ladies and gentlemen, it is time without further ado, let

(10:05):
it begin the greatest morning showing all the world, across
the land, all continents and on water too, Ladies and gentlemen.
Steve Harvey Morning Show has begun. Shirley Strawberry Hey, good morning, Steve,
Happy Friday. But call for I turned my mic one

(10:30):
sing that thing Steve, my bag of morning guy, Ladies
and gentlemen, the one and only that damn junior boy
morning up. President didn't say nothing crazy. They took his Twitter,
Joe Joe President Joe Biden say that Joe don't have Twitter.

(10:50):
Wee Twitter. Joe got Twitter, but Joe ain't here to
use it though, Ye ladies and gentlemen, j Anthon and
what up mister Harvey? How you doing? What's going on?
One time? Baby? Sitting up in here, man and join
my second day of bliss, my second day of feeling oh,

(11:16):
riding high, just some form of normality. Yeah, that's all
I can say. Man, feels good. Yeah, and it's liberating.
And it's such a liberating feeling working with President by
that's a shade. I love it. Come on, doctor, but

(11:38):
for real, man, I say one thing? Can I say
one thing? What I can't even I can't even gets Trump?
What I'm gonna do with all these jokes? I mean,
I got you got them stacked out? What you can't
use them on? Biden? With it? Where do you go
with you? But you know all of those all of

(12:00):
the former Trump aids and Trump administration people are all
coming out going well, man, yeah, it's such a belief. Man,
I could breathe again. You know, it's a lot of stuff,
and uh, it's just you know what, man, I just
think this Trump is something. You know, people are acting
like it's gonna be around. But in order, stupidity needs

(12:26):
leadership because stupidity without leadership gets even most stupid. And
once you start snatching leadership. And the way the FBI
is going out to these organizers of the riots and
the terrorist threat against the capital, Hey, man, I think
they're gonna they're gonna make an example out of some

(12:48):
of these people, and then Trump can get rid. A
man called whoa theyre coming for him. Man, he's looking
at the window constantly. He's looking out the wind you
every time over there, every time Icago by the house,
he's looking at it. Who is that? Hey? Another? No, guys,

(13:16):
have you've all seen all these Bernie Sanders memes from
Yah shout out to Bernie though Bernie with Barnie Yes,

(13:58):

I don't want to start with these. Go ahead, all right,
come on, Clo, you're ready. Here we go. This one's
from Maury and Fort Lauderdale. I'm twenty eight and I

(14:20):
moved in with my mom three years ago to help
her through a financial crisis. She got back on track.
A year ago, she got back on track, and a
year ago she reunited with an old flame and quickly
fell in love with him. Their relationship is progressed, and
she told me they're ready to move in together and
her house is more suitable, so I'll have to move

(14:41):
out within three months. I've been helping her pay the
mortgage and other bills, so I haven't been saving any money.
I am so hurt by this. Should I tell her
how I feel or just move out? Well, you should
tell her how you feel, but then you got to
get out. Oh that's all. You could tell her how

(15:02):
you feel. But if your mama's house, you guys to
go and here comes this mate, and you know that's
that's that's a little trifling. But you know, you know,
you know what your mama doing it all. But I
don't think she really realizes the sacrifice you made for her,
so you may have to bring it to her attention. Okay,
I like that advice. Cello Moving on Chicken, Montgomery says,

(15:26):
my husband is a long hauler, and when he's gone,
I had another life that he knew nothing about. I
like to go out, smoke cigarettes and drink hard alcohol
and entertain men. What I'm a waitress, I mean, and
I meet most of my gentlemen there. I recently found
out that my husband is cheating on me, so now

(15:46):
whenever he's home, I started showing him my other side
and I have left to go on dates. While he's home.
He doesn't say a word. Does this mean he doesn't
love me anymore? Is there any way to fix this? No?
I ain't gonna fix for this. He cool with you
going now you found out he was cheating, you stayed.
He found out you cheating, he stayed. You know, y'all

him he's too old to be dating me. They have
forbid me to see him, so I have to sneak
to spend quality time with him. He has asked me
to marry him, and my dad won't allow it. He
says that he loves me enough to wait for me

(17:24):

My parents don't understand. He's a really good guy. Other
women are interested in him. So what should I do? Wow,
she's twenty nineteen. Actually well, I mean, I mean, you're
gonna keep seeing this is what you're gonna do. You'll

(22:11):
have to actually shut the power down out there. And uh,
we're calling around to quite a few people in your neighborhood,
running some tests on individual homes and making sure the
electricity is running correctly. Um, can I get you to
do a few things swarm and see and in the
quicker we get through with this, sir, and it's possibility
we won't have to turn your power off at all.
I know you don't want us to have to come

(22:32):
out and turn power off. And you got stuff in
your refrigerator that can spoil and things like that. So
we want to try to get this done and hopefully
the power with the with the test that we run,
it'll it'll run correctly and we won't have to do anything. Okay,

actually push like a minute or two on that thing. Anything, Man,
come on now, I mean, what do you gotta do? No,

(24:18):

all right, all right, I look it's on microwaves, zone
TV zons. Okay, Now open your refrige. Man, the electricity
works downstairs. Okay, but listen now, I know, but what
we gotta do is we gotta make sure that this

stuff isn't overpower. Now, can you open your refrigerator? Yeah? Yeah, man,
do you see the button that actually has you can
turn you can push it in the lighter go out.
You know what I'm talking about. Come on, man, you
ain't got nobody to just be able to check something outside. Man,
I mean I'm in the fridge. I understand. But push
that button five times, form and see what it does.

(25:02):
What the light button? Yeah, push that light button five times?
Come on, man, that did it go off? And on
every head? It's offing on man. Actually they end it wrong.
The refriciate reficiately, it's plused in man. Okay, Now here's

(26:06):
is an awkward boogie current that flows through that water.
Plus that thing for me one time? Yeah, yeah, that's it. Okay,
all right toly worse man, you ain't got nobody in
the area that could come out here and just check
it out. Man, Quincy, I'm trying my best not to

when it last. Hey listen, but you can catch you'all
new episode tonight on ESPN or anytime on demand. He

(29:49):
goes far beyond sports headlines and everything, and he's joining
us to day to talk about it. Right now, please
welcome back to the show, family member, our brother stephen A. Smith. Yeah,
what's up y'all? How y'all doing family house everything? Thanks?
Thank you against and for being my premier guest man.

(30:10):
You you you made it happen to show the ready
number one on ESPN Plus, and you had a You
got a lot to do with that because you helped
jump stop me. Thank you, my brother, love you, my man. Well,
my man, really this is about you, Bro. I was
just a guest on what has really turned out? Tom
and Bro really for real? Right, you are the iconic

(30:32):
sports commentator of our time. You are the modern day
Howard co Sale. That's how big you've gotten. The Howard
co Sale was the dude back then. He was just
the dude. The dude. Now it's Stephen A. Smith and
your debuted stephen A's World on January eleventh on ESPN Plus.

(30:53):
You got all new thirty minute episodes as available Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays,
and Friday nights, and they'll be available anytime on demand.
How you feel about the new show, Stephen, give us
your take on the show. Well, I feel I feel
good about it, you know, because you know, listen, I
bring the rain a lot of times when I'm on

(31:14):
first take, debating every morning and things of that nature.
But you know what, you gotta call it like you
see it, and I think that you know, one of
the things I've tried to explain to my family and
loved one the hard part about the job, and I
accept it because I have to. You know, journalism is
my background and that's what I normally do. And you
can't be in a quote unquote friendship business when you're
out there reporting and stuff like that. So when you

(31:36):
do a show like First Take, for example, I'm guaranteed
to wake up every morning and pick somebody off every
day because I gotta take a side. When you're debating.
Somebody's out one side, you got another. Somebody's gonna be unhappy.
But I know that's not all there is to me.
I know I like to laugh. I know I like
to have a good time, and I know I like
to show love and respect and deference to those who deserve.

(32:00):
So stephen Ay's world is just about Yeah, it's about sports,
but it's also about me just shining a light and
giving praise to so many people doing everything to make
themselves better. They're feel they're chosen, feel better, just society
better as a whole, and really celebrating the great, great
things that people do. Because ultimately, I haven't aspiration to

(32:22):
go to late nights. We ain't having anybody since our
sene O Hall. Really you got Trevor Noah now on
comedy on Comedy Central. But that's it, and I know
that that's something that I ultimately want to do someday
if that opportunity presents itself. So for me now, but
this show is a half hour every day. I'm still
doing my sport, but I'm using it as an opportunity
to celebrate what other people are doing in pop culture,

(32:44):
entertainment and beyond. Not only am I the host, but
I'm the executive producer of the show, and my production
company is co producing it in concert with ESPN because
I wanted to give my feet wet in the production world,
and this is my first foray into that as well.
So I'm not just the host, but I'm the bar
which brings a lot of responsibilities to about. Hey, man,

(33:08):
see that right there is this is the This is
the conversation of a business man. Man. Yeah, I have
watched evolved and have the greatest respect for with his business.
Shirley taught me this word acumen Shirley, because you know,
it was new. She just talted to me. Stephen No,
I just threw it out because I was gonna say

(33:30):
something like his business accolades or something like that, how
to do it? But I mean, man, congratulations on everything.
And and you know the thing about it is, stephen A,
you made a valid point. You said, you're you're in
the sports media business, and you're in a business where
you made famous the debate you bought back the television debate,

(33:53):
you know, which was you bought the barber's shop to television.
In other words, you know what which you can't say.
And that's what a lot of people respect about you.
They tune in to hear the rant. What is stephen
A going to go off about? But your new show, man,
hey man, tell me how this character came about it?
Where did you find baby stephen A? Well, I gotta

(34:16):
give my social media person at esc and all the
credit in the world, because I was going these rants,
just saying what I you know, what the hell? I
felt like I always do. And one time on social
media he said, yo, man, I want to post this,
and he said, I want to show it to you.
I said, what he said, is you in baby face.
I'm all to your voice a little bit and attached

(34:37):
to baby face. Stephen A to it using the commentary
that you expressed on TV earlier in the day. And
when he posted it that day it had two point
eight million views. I just said, hold on to it.
Keep doing it. Hell, I don't care. You know, it

(34:58):
doesn't evolve me. But it's taking off. And now you
got people clamoring for it all the time, millions of
people saying, please show us they Stephen again and stuff
like that, and they're cracking up, laughing. So I said,
listen to make people happy and make him laugh. I'm
good with it. I love I love, I love him.
Last time I saw him, he was cussing. I was holly, baby,

(35:21):
stephen A is cussing. Hey, steven A, Hey, listen, a man,
hang on one second. We're gonna take a break. When
we come back. We're gonna come back with Morris Stephen A. Smith.
Are gonna talk about it all when we come back
right after this. Don't go nowhere. You're listening, all right,
We're back, everybody asked two guests, one and only stephen A. Smith. Uh.

(35:43):
January eleventh, everybody, the new show appeared. It's called Stephen
AG's World, exclusively on ESPN Plus. It's a great show.
It's got all types of features, it's got honorable mentions,
it's got streaming a Smith. It's got the love Love Doctor.
He's actually given relationship advice to couples. O god almighty.

(36:05):
Uh you got bet on that celebrities picking that game
with us every Friday. He's got a locke I got,
I got to tune in for this relationship advice. But well,
I know your sisters have got to have weighty and all.
Oh my, oh my god. They ready to kill me.
But I bla But listen, I blame two people. I
blame Martin Lawrence because I'm a huge, huge fan of

(36:27):
his show Martin from the nineties, and that's where I
got it from when he did that Love Doctor, when
he ultimately mistakenly set up his boy Tommy with his
worst enemy Pan, which was a hilarious episode. But I
also but that's what he said, he every and every
piece of advice he gave somebody to like, get on
out of him Love Doctor. It was hilarious. But that's

(36:48):
number one, and the number two persons I blame it's
Steve because because because if I recall, if I recall,
there's been plenty of times in the past you have
being on the straw of every lover. Uh yeah, yeah, wow, yeah,
I tried to save you a couple of times on
the starve Letts too, you know. But I like Stephen.

(37:14):
I think man that you are. I think you can
do it all Man. I thank you that versatile. I
think if people are going to see in this show
the many facets of Stephen A smith Man and I'm
excited for you, man, and that aspiration to do Late Night.
Who well, you know the biggest boy. But I think, honestly, Steven,
here's the biggest reason that I have the aspiration to

(37:36):
do Late Night. You know, watching the great Stephen Gopez
and Jimmy Fallons, you know, David Letterman, Jay Lenos, all
of these guys. Here's the one thing that's always been missed,
with the exception of us, the Neil Hall. You know,
black Hollywood and black folks in the entertainment business. We
are starving for somebody to have that kind of platform

(37:56):
where they know where they can come. They're going to
get invited to show up and to be given that
kind of exposure. There's so much talent in our community
that that gets undersold, under publicized. They don't do you know,
they avoided that level of cash because in that yad
they have not had the light shine upon them, and

(38:16):
I want to change that. Man. I've been about changing
that throughout my career in sport, and I want to
do that in Hollywood someday. I truly do. I mean
to me, there's no success without a successor, and no
matter how high I climbed, ain't no damn from being
there by myself. I want to listen as many people
up with me as I possibly can. That's what people
like yourself and others have done for me. That's the
least I can do, claiming that. Steve Harvey Mornings Show

(38:41):
Exclusive y'all, Hey, we'll be right back with more stephen
A Smith right after this. That's where you're listening. Hey, y'all,
listen to me. We're back with the one and only
stephen A Smith once again. You can catch stephen A
Smith on ESPN Plus. He's got all new thirty minute

(39:03):
of a new show debut called stephen A's World. It's
the thirty minute episodes available Monday's, Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays
and they'll be available anytime on demand. Great show we
got right here now, stephen A. Let's find out what's
going on the biggest story in basketball has been the

(39:23):
James Harden trade two NETS. Yeah, there's so many understories
with that. What's going on with Kyrie Irvin? What's going
on with the next Honday? Looking? What can you tell us? Well,
first of all, let's be real, nobody knows what the
hell is going on with Kyrie Irvin. Let's be real
about that. Nobody we can't figure it out. Least, he's

(39:48):
in the midst of a four year, one hundred and
forty one million dollars contract. He's getting paid thirty three
point four million this year. After starting out the season
where he and KD averaging at least twenty six a game.
About five or six games in this brother's decides, I
need a break. I got a lot on my mind.
I don't feel like playing back. Okay, the NETS didn't

(40:09):
know why, you know, nobody knew why. And so as
a result, not only did he do that, but then
he was caught on video partying with family and friends.
As a result, that's violating NBA protocol. So they were like,
you got to sit out until you cleared to play,
which had in this additional games. And so as a result,

(40:30):
he came back and he gave a very eloquent explanation.
I might add the other day when he talked about
just mental health, your mind, your spirit being right, he
just wasn't in that place, all these total justice issues
going on, so many things that are on his mind.
So he rationalized it that way, which made perfect sense.
What I said was, Okay, why the hell did you

(40:51):
tell anybody totally understand nobody's minimizing whatever emotional issues, mental
issues you may have had, particularly as it contains of
our community, because we appreciate all his philanthropy. Kyrie is
very charitable with his con and certainly his money, with
some of the things he does in the community, and
he deserves all our praise for that. But in the
same breath, you ain't supposed to be able to skip

(41:13):
work and not tell anybody why. And so that's that's
where it became a problem to As a result of that,
people are looking at the Brooklyn Nets and they saying, well,
that's why the Nets went out and traded, you know,
and traded players and numerous picks to the Houston Rockets
to get James Harden because they wanted that as an
insurance policy, because essentially they can't trust Kyrie. They know

(41:36):
he's electrified. They know he's boxed off. He's one of
the greatest shows in the NBA. He can drop thirty
in his sleep. He could do damage. We know all
of that about him. The problem is because emotionally he
has you know, he could be he can have those
mood twins and things of that nature. They don't know
whether or not they can trust him to be the
reliable side kick for Kevin Durant. That's why they went

(41:58):
out and got James Hard who was out of shape
or on purpose because he wanted to force his way
out of Houston, and he ended up doing just that
because he wanted to go to Brooklyn or Philly. That's
the situation there. As a result of Big Three of together,
the expectation is at the very least of birth of
the NBA Finals. I think they get to the NBA Finals.
For the season's a bus. Shaq said, damn that they

(42:21):
need to win the Chips. Otherwise, the season as a
bus because if you got KD, Harden and Kyrie, there
is no excuse to lose, even to Lebraun and Anthony Davis.
I say the Shack, there's always a damn excuse to
lose to lebron and Anthony Davis. Yeah, I knew it.

(42:43):
That's what I needed to hear. Man. Thank you so much,
stephen A. Smith. Need that clarity. Keep doing what you're doing, man,
congratulations getting on the new show. Everybody, Steve Hospital to
break the surveillance expert them. That's why I do that thing.

(43:04):
You can't guns now, Stephen Brick will work for me.
Stephen Brick, work old damn career as long as I
got They never let me have a gun on TV.
Just shame man exactly. He may be doing it man.
Love gratulations. Boys. Stephen A's World January eleven's exclusively on

(43:26):
ESPN Plus, brand new thirty minute episodes available Mondays, Tuesday,
Thursday and Friday. Ladies, Jennimer One and Only stephen A. Smith. Yeah, ye,
love y'all. Thank you, stephen A. Coming up next, Junior,

(53:18):
reading your letter live on the air, just like we're
going to read this one right here, right now. It's
always for you Jay. All Right, ladies and gentlemen, it's
time for the Strawberry Letter with my good friend Shirley Strawberry.
Thank you, my good friend, Junior. Subject I'm married. I
love the subject I'm married to a man baby to

(53:41):
Stephen Shirley, I need your help to figure out my
situation with my husband. He is thirty six years old,
but he responds to any and every situation with either
a temper tantrum or outburst of tears. If he's excited,
he cries. If he's frustrated, he cries. If he's angry,
he has a temper tantrum. Marriage has his ups and downs,

(54:03):
But I can't express myself to him without him getting
emotional or storming out of the room if he disagrees
with me. We haven't had a healthy argument, and I
end up agreeing with him so he won't explode. He
doesn't believe he has a problem. He's an only child,
and I'm not sure if that's how all of this started,

(54:25):
but I need to get to the bottom of it.
When we met, he was normal, but we had nothing
to argue about. Back then. He cried when he first
admitted he loved me, and I thought it was sweet.
He had a few temper tantrums during the time we
were dating, but they were always toward other people that
he got upset with. He cried like a baby on

(54:46):
our wedding day, so my best friends suggested he might
have a problem, but I let it go because it
was my special day. Now Here we are two days
later and he can't two years later, excuse me, and
he can't troll his emotions. It's very embarrassing in public
when he's mad. We were at a restaurant to pick

(55:06):
up food and they brought out the wrong order. My
husband threw the food out the window and threw his
head back and screamed like a small child. The lady
was terrified, and I just sat there embarrassed. I told
him he needs help, and I've tried to get his
parents involved, but they don't think anything is wrong with him,

(55:27):
anything is wrong with how he expresses himself. What am
I to do with this man? Baby? Please advise? Wow,
if you weren't married to him, I tell you right now,
run for the hills. But wow, I'll give this one
a shot. This is kind of beyond my skill set here,
but you are right, this is a grown man baby

(55:50):
the way he's acting, And I agree again, he definitely
needs some help. He needs anger management and coping skills
to help him control his emotion. He might even need
some meds, I'm thinking, depending on what it is, but
it is something for sure. This is something. Do you
know how many times that they've gotten my order wrong

(56:11):
at the drive through? Do you know how many times
that has happened? But who throws food out of the
window and screams to the top of their lungs with
their head back scaring people? Who does this? A grown man?
Come on, that is a bit much for a grown man.
And then his parents, No, they're not gonna be any

(56:34):
help because they raised him that way and they accepted
his bad behavior. They let him do this all of
his life. Obviously he had his way. He was spoiled
for the entire time of his life. He's an only child.
A lot of times has happened. I'm gonna say this
marriage is doomed if he doesn't see a doctor today.
It's only been two years. But I gotta tell your

(56:55):
hats off to you for hanging in there that long.
He's way selfish, way too immature to spend another day
like this. I say, set a doctor's appointment right now.
Of course, he's not gonna want to go. He's gonna
throw a tantrum, he's gonna cry, kicking and screaming, all
of that. But m And you can't make him go,

(57:16):
You really can't. He has to admit he has a problem,
and he doesn't think he has one. But you have
no choice but to try if you want peace and
if you want your marriage. Other than that, I don't
see this working. Steve well Well well man, baby, my
kind of letter right here. I need a letter like

(57:40):
this today to China, you know, vent some of my
frustrations and stuff. So because I'm trying to help this
woman deal with it. Now here's the problem. She got
to figure out this situation. Her husband, thirty six years old.
He responds to every situation with either a temper tantrum

(58:01):
or an outburst of tears. This is a thirty six
year old man drawling or crime about everything. If he's excited,
he cried, baby, you gotta promotion, Baby, I gotta gotta

(58:22):
I got hey man. What if he's frustrated, he cried,
I can't get that down off. Okay, hold on, hold
on dog. If he's angry, he thought a temper temper trum. See,

(58:44):
we gotta fix this right here, because obviously he ain't
through the temper tantrum at the right person. See, this
is years and years of getting away with no ass whippers.
That's what this is right here. And then she don't.
I can't express myself without him getting emotional, storming out
the room. This, like Shirley said, this comes from from childhood.

(59:06):
If he disagrees with me, we haven't having a healthy argument.
I end up agreeing with him. So here, now here's
you go. He doesn't believe he has a problem, that's
the first sign that something wrong with your ass When
you don't believe nothing. Need is most gotta ask. People
don't want to admit nothing. That's a problem right there.

(59:26):
And then he's an only child. Once you thirty six,
you can't keep claiming only child yet your ass child.
Hang on, Steve, hang on, hang on, we'll have program.
I'm Steve's response. Stop crying. Steve's response, I'm telling me
the commercial after the hour man, Maybe that is a

(59:50):
subject right after this. You're listening show. All right, Come on,
let's recap the strawberry letter of the subject my favorite subject.
I'm married to a man. Baby, what's up? We got
a real problem with this letter. Right here, she marriages

(01:00:10):
his thirty six year old ignorant ass dude right here.
Every time he frustrated, he cried. Every time he excited,
he cried. And when he gets angry, he throw a
damn temper. Temper, boy, what are you talking about now?
She can't argue with him, She gotta agree with him
or else said to throw his ass into something. She said.

(01:00:33):
She tried to talk to him about it, but he
don't believe he got a problem. Once again, that's the
first sign that's something wrong. If you're talking to a
nut ass person and you tell him something wrong with
him and they nutt ass argue with you. That's the
first sign that you're married to a nut ass person.

(01:00:53):
Second thing, she said, he's an only child. Can we
all agree with this once you are over twenty, stop
saying your ass is the only child. You don't. You
don't get no credit for that. You don't fall into

(01:01:15):
no category this way. You thirty six, You ain't nobody's
only child. You are grown ass man all right here. Now.
She didn't notice because when they first got together, they
had nothing to argue about, right, But then she started

(01:01:35):
noticing some stuff. He cried when he first admitted that
he loved me, and I thought it was sweet. Oh
did you I loved did you? Hallo? Okay, okay, doc,

(01:01:56):
I got that baby. It's all right. No, it ain't
all right, dog, where we're going with this? Okay, let's
stop right there. Then she said he had a few
temper transforms while y'all was dating, but there's always towards
other people he got up set with. Okay, so you

(01:02:16):
played that with me. He cried like a baby on
our wedding day, ass, when your ass should have had
this damn thing a nub right there. I got your
tearing up on your man wedding day. You see the
woman of your dream walking down the aisle. I got it,
little team fall out your I got that. But to
crying like a damn baby. If you don't want to

(01:02:38):
marry a girl, get your ass out of that tuch
seato and go sit down there in the first row.
I ain't just bust out crying like a damn baby.
All right, here we go because I gotta get to
this podcast. We're gonna do a reenacting. But it was
your special day. Two years later, he can't control his
emotions and very verily okay. And to hit the funny one,

(01:02:58):
we was at a restaurant to pick a food. He
brought out the wrong order this food. Her husband threw
the food out the wonder and threw his head back
and scream like a small shot. The lady was terrified.
Ye see, the reason he having all these tantrums is

(01:03:20):
because he having them in for the wrong person. He
threw that food out that wonder, he didn't throw it
out at the right person. I know some black women
that if you throw the food on the right you
get all the food back in that day on wonder.
You ain't gonna have time to be screaming. You were
trying to get this hot coffee off your head, and

(01:03:41):
we're hungry too. Stop. Come on, I just sat there
in bed. You should have got out the corn, just
walked your hands home, all right, I say so he
would go. I told him he needs help, and I've
tried to get his parents involved, but they don't think
anything's wrong with how he expresses himself. That's cause, as
Shirley said, they've enabled him. They've enabled him the entire

(01:04:05):
time he was growing up. This is what they allowed
to happen. What am I to do with this man's baby?
Please help man baby. My strong suggestion to you is
to get a damned divorce. That is my strong suggestion
to because you fin to live with a problem that
you don't have no answer, and it ain't fin to

(01:04:27):
get better because he don't even think he got a problem,
and his ignorant ass mammy and daddy don't think he
got a problem. His ignorant mammy and daddy don't think
he got a problem. So he from a dumb ass family.
You didn't mad into a dumb ass family. And if
you mess around and have a kids. One of the
damn kids gonna have his dumb ass characteristic. If I

(01:04:50):
were you, I would divorce his ass and walk off
right now. Or you fin to have a life of
misery now right now, I'm finn to show you how
this works real quickly. So any scenario at me, and
I'm gonna show you what's wrong with a man, but Shirley,
call anybody just Jay thor scenario you all right? All right,

(01:05:13):
all right? You you mad? You mad because this is
not what you wanted to eat. You wanted fried chicken.
We don't have chicken anything. I'm gonna bring myself another precenario.
All maybe you can't take a shower tonight. You gotta

(01:05:33):
take a bath. The water pressure, I can't get it
on all of my free more. You don't like like
what was laid out for you to put on. You
don't like what was laid out for you the shirt.

(01:05:59):
All right, I'm gonna do a little bit more on
this letter so you can understand why do you need
to get a divorce? All right, Strawberry letter Part three
coming up. I'm married to a man. Baby. Right after this,
you're listening Steve Harvey Morning show here we are. Who
knew we would have a part three to today's Strawberry letter.

(01:06:19):
The subject is I'm married to a man. Baby. Come on, Steve,
you have part three. He cried about everything as a
woman trying to figure out what she should do with
this man. He cried like a baby. After wed hat,
he bought own food out to the window at a restaurant.
She handed him the food, He threw the food back

(01:06:39):
out the window and threw his head back on the
head Luster screamed like a baby. He've been crying and
aging the whole time, and so now I've asked, give
me scenarios. And my solution for this is she has
to get a divorce. She has to leave this man
ain't gonna get We're doing scenarios. How the man baby?
We're here, okay, on the on the plane and you

(01:07:02):
want to sit by the window, but you own the eye.
I love it. Excuse me, sir, it uh you have
to sit on the eye. I have sit on one eye.
I can't sit at the eye. I want to sit
at the window. I want to look at the window

(01:07:23):
and see the clown. I want to see the closet
and the birds at the window. I won't see the
room in the aisle. Honey, for your legs. You know
you're tall and you're embarrassing me. You shut out, you know,

(01:07:49):
embarrassing me now too. You have to wear your mask
at all times. Yeah, alright, my fucking five grap I
can't wait an back. All right, We're gonna go see

(01:08:18):
your grandmama because she's been asking to see you. I
don't want to go, seep, I sound like you. Yes,
your grandma she wants to see you, his grandmama. She
wants to see grandma. I don't want to go see
her child. You're her only grandcha. I'm her only child,

(01:08:41):
the only grand chalk on, y'all should have hust My
baby ain't got to be on me. What just have me?
Gotta go now, I won't see grandma. Claister a play

(01:09:06):
with me. That was part three. Thank you for that
re enactment. For your interpretation of post Commason. Today, Strawberry
Letter at Steve Harvey FM, on Instagram and Facebook. Check
out the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand. Coming up, more
of The Steve Harvey Morning Show and to look into
the mind of Jay Anthony Brown. Right after this, You're

(01:09:29):
listening to the Stave Harvey Morning Show. Here we go,
Steve Ta, it is time, it is dark, it is demented. Now,
it is deranged, it is slightly all. Yeah. It is
the mind and the mental instability of Jay Anthony Brown.

(01:09:55):
Take it away, Uh, Steve, this is my last Donald
Trump song of the year. I wish we'd got it
in early, but you know, hey, I wasn't here, so
it couldn't get in earlier. You know what I'm saying,
I was not here. Where you go. It's me, me,

(01:10:31):
around me, around me and a round if that one.
You're digging crazy. Everybody's leaving in there, leaving daily. Now
you're abody to lose everything you made. I bet you
cann't suit and that ain't no made. I blame your papa,
no peep, don't nothing happens when you're wake doing stupid stuff.
Even though it wasn't right hiding in the bump around

(01:10:52):
night wors President I ever seen in my life. You're crazy. No,
that tazed me. Everything you do, this crazy man of
your belly. Everybody's waiting with me happy when you leave.
Praise please many that was mean dentasement. Everything you do,
this crazy not a your belie. Everybody's waiting with me

(01:11:15):
happy when you lead or crazy? Man of that was
mean dentasemen. Everything you do this crazy, not a your boy.
Everybody wouldn't with me happy when you lead? You crazy? Please? Man?
That was me dentasemen. Everything in youth is crazy and
not a your belie. Everybody waiting with me happy when

(01:11:36):
you lead or crazy? Man of that was mean dentasement.
Everything in youth is crazy, not a your beolie. Everybody's
witting with me, happy when you lead? You crazy? Please
go you crazy jay. Yeah, you went out with a
bang on that one. You can sit and it ain't

(01:11:58):
no maybe Chris Brown, you're gonna have to do another
when they start. It's such a relief not to have
to deal with him, But I want that he has

(01:12:21):
to be some type of repercussions behind the four years
that he's done, his actions, his lack of a plan
for the fascination, that's sheer recklessness with the lives of
American citizens. That's just reckless. Not caring at all about

(01:12:44):
your damn position as a leader. Come on, man, yeah yeah,
and if and if you're a Republican, how can you
agree with this when he blatantly once he survived Corona,
and then they came out with a vaccine after he

(01:13:05):
survived Corona, and he thought he couldn't get it no more.
He didn't give a damn about nobody to even come
up with a plan to vascinate the rest of the people, right,
oh man, a distribution plan? Yeah, yeah, you just yeah failure.
Now we know why they didn't let Biden in the
White House because he would have found all this out

(01:13:25):
way earlier. Yeah right, Yeah, he stalled the transition teams. Yeah,
stalling the transition team. And they also and they also
wanted to hand him as big a mess as they could.
Uh huh, they did, They did it right. You're absolutely right.

(01:13:48):
But President Biden seems like he's taken action yesterday. COVID
nineteen responds he used. Yeah, yeah, his story is so
incredible though, I mean, three times you run for president,
the third time you win. His entire life aneurysm. Yeah, everything,

(01:14:08):
It's just what an incredible story of never giving up.
All Right, we'll be back with more of the Steve
Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening to all right, Carla,
So how did it go? How did the versus battle go?
They finally did it right. Yeah, Kisha Cole and Ashanti, Yeah,

(01:14:29):
they did a battle versus battle last night. They've been
rescheduled a bunch of times. Yeah, and Ashanti the first
time it was rescheduled, she had tested positive for COVID,
so they had to go through that. I you know what, Um,
there were some technical issues to me a little bit.
You couldn't hear the music a little bit with Keisha Cole.
The ladies look beautiful, they look amazing, and um, it

(01:14:53):
was cool. I wanted a little bit more from them
because I'm a huge fan of both of these ladies.
You know, they're they are R and B female singers
from the year from two thousand, you know what I'm saying,
not the nineties, but the two thousand eras. So they
got a lot of fans out there, so it started
coming together. But it was a little one, a little

(01:15:15):
bit more. But they looked gorgeous. They looked gorgeous, and
you're just rooting for both of them, just rooting both
of them. Kasha, Kyle, Kaseha and a Shot. Yeah, that's
the person both of them personally. I love them person
both of them are very nice people, They really are.
They got hits. Where were you asking, junior? And now

(01:15:35):
you trying to either one of them singers? Because I
date either one? It didn't matter, is that what you
got out the battle? I got out the battle either one? Junior?
You that dude that walk across the floor at the
club back in the day and asked the whole table
anybody wanted dang right, all right, we'll have more of

(01:15:58):
the Steve Harvey Morning Show at thirty three minutes after
right after this, you're listening to show, all right, So
we already know that someone someone in Maryland one Wednesday's
powerball who guess how much it was? It was big
through seven hundred and thirty million dollars. One person, one person,

(01:16:23):
one person person. Look at seven hundred and thirty million, steed, God,
see lord, he did just give me that ticket. Let
the wind blow it. I'm picking up on the ground

(01:16:44):
and walking on the end. Because who need to win
this money is somebody who has vowed and promised to
give y'all a show of winnings to y'all need this.
Y'all need to get somebody that's got a real plan
with this mother person whoever wanted in Maryland. They don't

(01:17:07):
have a plan. I'm a definite playing with it. So that, well,
I'm gonna be the person. I'm gonna be the person.
Yeah that when I win the money, y'all will be
saying this Jay is acting real funny since he won
all that money. Okay, that's gonna be me. That's how
that's I'm definitely gonna be acting real. I'm taking calls.

(01:17:34):
What you're not gonna come to work? Well, you don't
do that now, So nah, I'm coming less than anybody
even gonna know? You got the money? Right? You think
he won? You don't know? Well, okay, this is all

(01:17:55):
I have to say. Get your tickets tonight for a
shot at the Mega Millions drawing. That's who nine hundred
and seventy million. Okay, tickets tonight. Okay, it's seventy million?

(01:18:16):
Who lord lord, girl, I'm gonna just give y'all a
little piece of money. Y'all gonna gonna live your life.
But my phone number will not exist. Anybody. You wouldn't
have money. Emails a million? How much she's giving each
one of us? You got nine hundred and you don't

(01:18:36):
gonna give us a million a piece. Really, Yes, that's
all you're getting. Yes, you got nine. You're gonna give
us as immediately as one million does not. Your ass
is down to six hundred thousand. This is what happened
to Tommy. Jay. You don't hear us anything to Harvey, Man,

(01:18:56):
I have Jay's money, hire, Yes, I have to three.
I'll be up to three, Jay, Tommy was down to
two hundred thousand, and the cash out of seven hundred
and sixteen million on that. All right, we'll be back.
Coming up is our last break of the day, and
we'll have some closing remarks from the one and only

(01:19:18):
Steve Rich Harvey right after this where the money relies.
You're listening here, we are, guys, Last break of the day,
last break of the week. Finally, it is the last
break of the day. And I've been thinking about the
million dollars Steve from the lottery you're gonna give each
one of us. Me. I'm gonna take it, but I'm

(01:19:40):
gonna be salty about it. So oh really yeah, Faith,
But whatever I'm gonna be, I'm gonna be. I'm gonna
be real salty, Okay, and Jane and Jay I will
care less than okay, and Jake, just to keep you

(01:20:07):
from being real salty, I'm not gonna I don't want
that million to like tick you off, So I'm just
gonna go ahead. Man, here's the thing I've been doing.
I've been doing you too long to know that if
you weren't that much money, you would not give me nothing.

(01:20:27):
I know that that would just eat away at you.
But I just want you to know that your million
that you give me, I'm gonna yeah, it's media. I
can't believe I didn't give Jay a damn thing. But
I'm taking the million you're in the lottery. But just
know I'm taking it with an attitude. Okay, I'm gonna
be real upset. I might snatch it out again like

(01:20:49):
its just it. Yeah, but Jake, but Jake can't tell
you something too now. I want you to be for
this because it's not gonna be the reaction you think
kiss gonna be. You know normally with people, Well, how
dare you I give you a meal? You don't you? No, No,
we're not having an argument about it. Feel ever had argument?

(01:21:10):
You gonna feel No, we never had an argument. But
when I handed his money and you salt it about it.
I want you to know that I'm gonna turn my
head and not give a damn no. But just just notice, Steve,
when you when you turn away, I've been going whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.

(01:21:32):
That's it. So you'll hear that. You will hear that
whoa seriously, seriously down, that's what you're doing. That's what
you do. Jake, But Jake, but Jake can't tell you this.
I will hear it, but I bet you won't know
I heard it. Yeah, you know, you know how I

(01:21:56):
know you don't hear it because when you turn around,
I'm gonna run around in front of you and throw
it in your face like I don't want that. That's
the best you can do. That's what I'm gonna do
about that. And then you know what, and then do
you know what's gonna happen when you run around in
front of me? What one of them eight big ass

(01:22:18):
bodyguards that I'm gonna high he's gonna push your ass
in the floe And and then and then you know
what's gonna happen while I'm on the floor. But then
hold up the why are you on the floor whilere
you on the floe? One of them bodyguards gonna step
on one of them bad ass knees you got, okay, okay,

(01:22:42):
and why they him on my knees. I'm gonna I'm
gonna say, Steve, I can't believe you gave me that
little bit of ass money and and let somebody step
on my knee. Guilt trip from guilt off? May I
have just Jay's money and then and then and then

(01:23:04):
and then you know what I'm gonna do, Jay, I'm
gonna do after you say that from down there on
the ground, I'm gonna help you up. I'm gonna help
you off. I'm gonna dust your clothes off, and I'm
gonna take that million dollar check and stuff it in
your top shirt pocket and walk my ass off. And

(01:23:28):
then I'm gonna walk by and take it out of
his pocket because he don't. I'm up to three millions.
In closing, you know we're joking about everything, but let
me let me tell you this. In closing, I want
everybody to make the commitment to decide right now today

(01:23:56):
that this year you are going to do everything in
your power, with your faith and with your work effort
to make this year one of the best years of
your life. You can do that. Success is a decision

(01:24:16):
away to begin to be successful. It begins with a
decision that I am going to be successful. To be
happy starts with the decision I am going to be happy.
To be successful starts with the decision I am going
to be successful. All of this starts in the mind.

(01:24:42):
Once it's in your mind and you verbalize it with
your mouth, you have put it into the universe. And
guess what it has to come back to. You decide
yourself that this year is going to be, with your
faith and your work, one of the best years of

(01:25:03):
your life. I dare you to try it. I dare
you to read Herbecca two and two that says, write
the vision and make it play, so that he who
reads it will run to it, and even though a
terry wait for it, for surely it will come at
an appointed time. I dare you, in twenty twenty one,

(01:25:25):
to take one step that that Bible has suggested that
you do as see. Don't it work for you? I
dare you that's the beginning of a great year. Now
that's not to say that you're not gonna get challenged,
because you are, But that don't mean that it ain't

(01:25:47):
gonna happen. Decide to date that you're going to be happy,
that you're going to be successful, that you're going to
apply the work ethic, and you're gonna keep your faith.
Give God a chance to be as great in your
life as he would really, really love to be. Y'all.
Have a great day. Keep the faith. It's all working, y'all.

(01:26:08):
