Speaker 1 (00:10):
Hey everybody, It's Wednesday, May first, twenty seed twenty four.
Welcome to the NFL Fantasy Football Podcast. But we're also
resigning with the Dallas Cowboys. It's me your man, nam
G Marcus Grant, joined by Michael f. Florio and Laqwan Jones,
and we have made it through the long, dusty desert
that is draft season.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
No more speculation.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
I mean, I guess there's still some speculation, but now
it's more educated speculation. I guess instead of just trying
to figure out where guys fit, we know where guys
have landed and we can start to kind of talk
about what this means. So my first question to you
guys at Florida, I'll start with you, how many rookie
drafts have you been in?

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Are you going to be in?

Speaker 3 (00:51):
I have one that you're in as well. That's that's right,
that's right. Luckily, it's a slow draft. I don't even
think a pick has been made yet. I have another
one that I think starts in like a couple of
days or something like that. And then I got to check.
I have a couple coming up. I've already jumped in
a best ball draft or two because I'm a lunatic,
and uh, that's what post draft is for, right, we

(01:14):
got to kill this void somehow.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
Yeah, I'm looking that one that you mentioned that we're
both in together. I I don't think I I think
I have one pick. I think I've traded away like
all the picks, all my rookie picks in that draft.
It's look, it's worked out. I won a championship a
couple of years ago. I got to the playoffs last year,
so like, yeah, I gave away assets, but like I

(01:36):
got It's like the Rams. It's like your Rams look
on like they they didn't have first round picks for
a long long time, but they won a super Bowl
out of it. So it yeah, yeah, are you in.
I'm assuming you're in some rookie drafts at some point,
right yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:50):
I'm currently in three right now, and it's struggling to
get past the second round because it's an eight.

Speaker 5 (01:56):
Hour clock and then we pause it, you know, the
whole ordeal. But I'm in.

Speaker 4 (01:59):
No, I mean, I'm pretty pretty happy with I started
out with Jadeen Daniels.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
So it's may first we have time exactly.

Speaker 4 (02:09):
But no, there's some people that are like really itchy,
just to make their first pick, and I get it,
but you know, you know, it's draft season.

Speaker 5 (02:15):
This is what happens.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
Yeah, So anyway, yes, rookies have landed. We were with
you on Thursday night for our live stream. Thanks to
everybody who jumped in and participated in that and everybody
who watched it after the fact.

Speaker 5 (02:28):
You know, we're like, we're like a streaming service, buzzing man.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
It's like a.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
Streaming service man. You jump in after the fact. It's
all good there too. We appreciate it. So we're gonna
come back and we're gonna recap the rest of the
draft and how we're feeling about some things. So Day two,
Day three, and then we will give our top ten
dynasty rankings. So I mean, it's just started with Day
two because a lot going on there. The recap for

(02:53):
fantasy purposes for running backs drafted, nine wide receivers drafted.
Two tight ends went off the board in Day two,
rounds two and three, So let's just start.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
Let's start with wide receivers.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Your favorite and your least favorite wide receiver landing spot, Laquon,
What did you did?

Speaker 5 (03:10):
You not like?

Speaker 4 (03:12):
There was a couple of landing spots that I ended
up liking after doing research after like I love Jermaine
Burton where he landed with I love Xavier Worthy, but
my least favorite it was like spots for like Malik
Neighbors obviously going to the Giants. Man that was a
little gut punch, but we'll see how that works out.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
Passes from Daniel Doones. It'll be fun.

Speaker 4 (03:31):
I can't even mispronounce my last name if I wanted,
I can't say that, like it's nuts. But Ricky piersoll Man,
he's another one that ended up going to a situation
where it's a little crowded, so it might take some
time for him to build some fantasy relevance, but it'll
be you know, cool to see him on the field
make plays in real life football, but not much you know,
fancy relevance with those landing.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
Spots for me, Florida your your favorite least favorite landing spots?

Speaker 3 (03:56):
Yeah, a lot of what LaQuan said, Like I like
Jermaine Burton going to to the Bengals long term. I
love for me Tier two in in uh In Redraft
and Dynasty. Well, Dynasty is a little different, but like
Keon Koleman, Xavier Worthy, lad McConkie. I loved where all
of them went, and uh, I think they both all
three kind of came away from the draft as big winners.

(04:17):
I don't hate the Malik Neighbors landing spot nearly as
much as a lot of people do. But then there
were some like uh I I really wanted. I like
the Javon Baker landing spot. I was hoping he went
a little earlier, but like Malik Washington fell to a
spot a point where I didn't like Ricky piersoal Like
Lakwan said, uh so yeah, not not all great, but overall,

(04:40):
I thought more good landing spots than bad.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
So you guys are like, so the Ricky Piersol thing,
do is it because you guys believe both Ayuk and
Deebo will still be there in week one?

Speaker 2 (04:52):
Is that what it is for me?

Speaker 5 (04:54):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (04:55):
Yeah, absolutely. I don't think you trade a Diebo wait
because you got Ricky. I don't think you trade at
Ayuk because you got Ricky. He's a great addition to
the offense to contribute. But I think a lot of
people are having their fantasy lenses on, like praying for
Ayu trade or a Debo trade. I think he honestly
makes that team a little bit better collectively than trying

(05:15):
to make him like a focal point of the offense.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
I don't think Ayuk's going anywhere.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
I think if anybody gets traded, it's probably gonna be
Debo and Yeah, I mean I think for the Niners,
they would love to keep both of them. They just
have to figure out how to pay both men. Yeah, yeah,
that's that's the issue. It's not you know, it's not
that they're tired of Debo or they need to move on.
This isn't a Stefan Diggs situation. This is just more
of a financial situation for these guys.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
They Yeah, they have the option to move on from
either one after that, like Ayuk is a free agent, Deebo,
they have an out. So I agree, I think they
want to cover their bases. But Piersol is a really
nice like in case we can't, we get our guy
a year early as the replacement exactly.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
I can say that one of my favorite landing spots
was honestly, Lad mcconki. I think he's in a great
situation to get a whole lot of opportunity there with
the Chargers. I mean, look, look, at who competition is
right now, Right, it's Josh Palmer and it's Quinton Johnston.
Like work right, Like he could very easily, you know,
overtake those guys and get a whole lot of targets

(06:17):
even in a run heavy offense. I like that spot.
Didn't love Jalen McMillan going to Tampa. Yeah, you know
that's a that's a tough scene right there, knowing that
Mike Evans is back, knowing that Chris Godwin is still there, uh,
and just not being sure that Baker Mayfield can support
a third guy. I think he can support those main
two receivers. I don't think he can support a third guy.

(06:39):
And so I think McMillan his development is sort of
on hold, at least for the for the next year
or two, and then we'll see what what sort of
happens after that. So Lad mcconaughie, I mentioned that I
love going he goes to the Chargers, Kean Coleman goes
to Buffalo and Florida. Look, I know you guys are
excited about what he can be on the field. I'm

(07:01):
excited about the content we're going to get from because
the dude has been super entertaining so far, he hasn't
even played one. He haven't even had an NFL practice yet,
and has been incredibly entertaining.

Speaker 5 (07:15):
But if we're talking touchdowns.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
Of if we are talking fantasy in you know, the
year of our fantasy Lloyd twenty twenty four, Key Coleman
versus Lad McConkie Florida, who do you got?

Speaker 3 (07:30):
I have them back to back, and I love Lad
McConkie as a prospect. I liked him a lot more
than Key On Coleman coming in. But I think I'm
gonna go with Coleman just because the Bills have come
out and said he is going to be their ex guy.
Like he is going to be, They're at least playwise,

(07:51):
their traditional wide receiver one on a team that I
think will pass the ball more with a better quarterback.
That being said, I if you for McConkie, you're not
getting an argument out of me. I think he was
the much better prospect. You guys could tell me if
I'm being a homer or not. The reason I've warmed
up to Coleman, other than the fact that he now
plays on my favorite team, is I was like, I

(08:14):
don't think he's the type of wide receiver that can
just succeed anywhere. But if one he's someone who has
a much faster game speed than forty speed. But also
if there's a quarterback who can fit it into that
tight window and get it to where your wide receiver
can jump up and get those fifty to fifty balls.
A strong arm quarterback like Josh Allen or Mahomes or

(08:36):
Dak or one of those guys are the ones that
I think could get the most out of this type
of player. You guys can tell me if you think
I'm just putting rose colored glasses on, but I like
him a lot more with a quarterback like Allan than
I would with a quarterback like say Jared Goff or
something like that.

Speaker 4 (08:51):
Yeah, I mean, I was gonna say the landing spot
mattered one hundred percent when he came to Coleman because
we all had our concerns of going into the draft.

Speaker 5 (08:59):
He doesn't have that X speed to be a true
X wide receiver. Blah blah blah. He can't separate.

Speaker 4 (09:04):
But when you get a quarterback like Josh Allen of
that tier where he's going to be able to develop
his game to the next level, to this is the
type of player where if Josh Allen wants to play
hero ball, at least he has somebody that has combat
hands in the contested catch to go get that for him.
So I think this is a great pick for you guys.
And you got a playmaker and he's given me Marshawn
Lynch vibes. Dude, So you got a great character and

(09:26):
you have a great player on your team.

Speaker 5 (09:28):
So happy for you. Florio bound back from the Dick's trade.
I don't I don't think. I don't think you're being
a homer.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
I mean when you say that, because I think it's
a great situation because there was a need, an absolute
need at the position. They got a guy who can
go out and play make and and you know we
got the pairing with the quarterback that we know is
going to be there for a while as well.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
Yeah he I but it's close.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
Apparently Alan handpicked Coleman. Does that matter to you guys
at all? Like like mahomes want and worthy to me,
stuff like that always matters a little when the quarterback
wants that player.

Speaker 4 (10:02):
Strout won it tanked, Oh like the and you're seeing
wreaking the benefits of these picks of the GMS listening
to the Star Player, you know, like, it's amazing that
Coleman was able to land.

Speaker 5 (10:12):
There for you guys. So I think that's it's gonna
be a beautiful connection.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
Man.

Speaker 1 (10:15):
Yeah, no, I think it definitely matters, for sure, matters.
I said, I I think I like McConkie a little
bit more than Coleman. It's it's close again, just because
you know, the guys that I mentioned, right, Johnston and Palmer,
uh don't pose a lot of a threat. And I
think I think McConkie is incredibly versatile.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
You know.

Speaker 1 (10:36):
I know that the thought about him early on in
the processes that oh, well, he's a slot guy, and
you know, it was I think it was easy for
everybody to be like, oh yeah, you know, and start
throwing out the Julian Edelman's and Wes Welkers and Danny Mendola's, right.

Speaker 5 (10:50):
I said, Walmart came Cooper cup but.

Speaker 2 (10:53):
You know, but I was mine, you see.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
But I think the more people started looking into him
and watching him, you started to realize that, like, he
does more than just that, and he's the guy that
you could put in a whole lot of places.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
You know.

Speaker 1 (11:05):
Having other multiple conversations with Matt Harmon, who we had
on the show recently.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
One of the things he mentioned was that like.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
It sort of it could potentially work with Quinton Johnston,
where you put Johnston on the outside. If you want
to use McConkie as a slot guy, you put Johnson
on the outside, let him just occupy some defenders out
there and open things up in the middle of the
field for mconkie. Or you can just try to put
him outside and see if he's able to win with
you if you're running the right kind of routes and
running the right kind of schemes for him. So it's close,

(11:35):
it's close. I've got McConkie. I don't know where you
fall on this.

Speaker 5 (11:39):
O Q same way.

Speaker 4 (11:40):
I mean, I'm gonna play it safer here being that
there's not much target competition behind him and just we
fell in love with Lab mcconaky for a reason. Go
back to watch the tapes, like I've been watching you know,
tapes before draft for weeks and weeks in but I
just went back to refresh, Like, Okay, he's landing in
the spot where there's not much competition around him. He
could put him anywhere on the outside, inside, whatever you

(12:00):
want to put him. He's gonna make magic out there,
and I'm just gonna go here with the larger target share,
which more likely, you know. Kean Coleman goes into a
situation with Joe Brady where I really think all these
wide receivers and Dalt kin Kaid are gonna equally eat.

Speaker 1 (12:15):
Yeah, she's Dulton think. I want Dalton kin k to
be a thing. Yeah, Like I like Dawson Knox. I
like making fun Dawson's creak puns whenever he does things.
But I really want Dalton Kinkaid to be a thing.
And I'm hoping that I'm not. I'm hoping this isn't
a thing where like three years later, I'm like, I
still want Dalton in k to be a thing.

Speaker 3 (12:33):
He's gonna lead them in targets this year, targets catches touchdowns.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
All right.

Speaker 1 (12:38):
I love I love to hear it. Jermaine Burton, this
is the guy that we were all surprised that he
went where he did in the third round. Certainly, the
chatter about him around him was that he was gonna
fall a whole lot farther than he did. But the
Bengals stop his slide. Look, Lakwan, they've got I would
say issues at wide receiver. But look, this may be

(13:00):
the last hurrah for T Higgins in Cincinnati. Tyler Boyd
is already not coming back to Cincinnati. Burton on the field,
there's no argument about his talent. Everybody loves his talent.
It was the other things that had everybody sort of questioning.
So how confident are you in a dynasty format, for instance,

(13:20):
to maybe take a flyer on Jermaine Burton hoping that
whatever the Bengals do inside their building can kind of
get him in line.

Speaker 4 (13:30):
Yeah, I mean, the off field stuff is always going
to worry me. But you just hope that he could
remain focused, keep his nose clean, and hopefully the talent
speaks for itself to where he could just focus and
not do anything else and mess anything up. But I'm
willing to take a flyer on him because he's landing
in a great situation. Like you spoke on T Higgins,
this is possibly his last season and then he walks

(13:52):
into year two at a decent target share. They don't have,
you know as of right now, A Joe Mixon to
go out there and take some of those targets way.
They don't have a Tyler Boyd anymore. That was like
Joe Burrow security blanket there. And the great thing about
Burton you could put him anywhere on this offense. He
could run every route tree. So I think he's falling
into a situation where hopefully he is getting fed enough

(14:13):
to just remain focused on football and doesn't become a
wild boy, and hopefully there's not much to do in Cincinnati.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
So I'm looking Florida right now at some of the
consensus rookie rankings in Dynasty, and I'm seeing Burton at
number twenty four overall wide receiver fourteen. That feels like
enough of a discount that it's worth taking the swing
on him if he really if he can put everything
together and become the guy you know that his talent

(14:42):
says he can be.

Speaker 3 (14:43):
Is that wide receiver fourteen amongst just rookies, amongst rookies, Yeah,
I wow. I have him for my Dynasty as wide
receiver eight. So yeah, that to me is a value there.
I agree with a lot of what LQ said, not
only I would go as so far as to say,
like I would be shocked if T Higgins is back
with the Bengals next season, so I think they did

(15:05):
what kind of what I was saying earlier with the Niners.
They were like, Okay, we're gonna draft this guy a
year early. Look all the off the field stuff. I
worry about that coming into the draft because I think
draft capital matters so much. But these they didn't let
him fall too far. So I think they're they're going
to be invested in him and stuff, and he'll be
if he could be that number two opposite of Jamar

(15:27):
Chase with Joe Burrow from next year on. Yeah, that
is a player that I think you want on your
roster and this year. For this year, I don't. It'll
probably take an injury for him to be consistent in redraft,
but I think he is a player that in best
Ball drafts you could take late because he is a
downfield speed merchant and he will have big plays in

(15:48):
this offense with Joe Burrow and co.

Speaker 5 (15:49):
Yeah, And I think that's the thing. He'll have big plays.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
I think the consistency, at least in year one may
be something that we're a little bit fresh. Part of
it is just because he is gonna be playing with
jim Ar Chase, and we know that Chase is gonna
get a ton of target. Speaking of Jamar Chase, I
I just saw something come across my Twitter timeline his
new grill, which is I'm gonna put this in slack.
I mean like maybe we'll talk about it on the

(16:12):
cheat sheets tomorrow, like this is this is wild Jamar
Chase's new grill. This has nothing to do with football
or fantasy. It's just like just like damn. But because
Jamar Chase is there, obviously he is going to dominate
the uh you know, the target share in that offense.
And you know, as long as T Higgins is there,
he's still going to get opportunities. And so I think

(16:33):
that is going to kind of uh dictate how consistent
Jermaine Burton can be on a week two week basis,
you know, in his rookie season. So another who you got?
Roman Wilson goes to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Jalen Polk. Which
it's funny because we talked about this a couple of
weeks ago on the show.

Speaker 2 (16:53):
Peter Schrager said.

Speaker 1 (16:54):
Jalen Polk or mocked Jalen Polk into the first round
and football Twitter especially fantas football Twitter and draft Twitter.
Uh you know, pulled the old the meme boo this man,
and and while he wasn't one hundred percent right, he
was pretty close to right because Jalen Polk goes very
early in the second round and so, uh, you know,

(17:16):
Schrager might have missed, but he wasn't crazy far off
on that. But if you're looking at the two sides
of Florida, Roman Wilson versus Jalen Polk, who do you
prefer there?

Speaker 3 (17:26):
Roman Wilson.

Speaker 5 (17:29):
One.

Speaker 3 (17:29):
When the Steelers drafted running a wide receiver, they get
my attention, like they almost routinely hit it out of
the park Roman Wilson, just like the Patriots, guys are
going to a situation where they need wide receiver help
behind George Pickens. Like their number two before before the
draft was Van Jefferson, And no disrespect.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
To Van, we know what he is.

Speaker 3 (17:49):
At this point, Roman Wilson is actually a player that
I come to Tank Dell. I I not that they're
the exact same player, but they're smaller watercs who could
win downfield. And Wilson did a tremendous job of getting
open in the red zone time and time again.

Speaker 5 (18:06):
He just had a nose for.

Speaker 3 (18:07):
The end zone and that's exactly what Tank Dell was
in college. But then it was like, oh, well, he's
too small to do that in the NFL. I don't
believe that. So I'll take the shot on Wilson. And like,
I'll admit I wasn't high on Jalen Polk. I have
put him ahead of Javon Baker in my rankings, but
they're back to back coming in. I had Baker higher.

(18:28):
I'm not ruling out Baker. Look, Polk is gonna get
every opportunity because of the second round draft capital they
used on him, But I would not be surprised if
Baker ends up stealing a lot of work away in
that Patriot wide receiver room that greatly needs someone to
step up.

Speaker 2 (18:43):
Yeah, are are you team Wilson or team Polk?

Speaker 5 (18:46):
Heck you?

Speaker 1 (18:47):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (18:47):
I was kind of undersided when I was thinking about this.
I mean, both could crash and burn. I mean, I'm
just a little.

Speaker 1 (18:52):
Afraid that's not the way I thought you were going
with that. Since it's been continue I'm a little afraid.

Speaker 4 (18:58):
Of the boogeyman over there, you know, in Pittsburgh as
the offensive coordinator, So I was a little scratching my
head with his pick, but Florio's right, they kind of
hit on wide receivers, so it does bring your attention.
But I'm honestly gonna go with Polk just with a
similar situation a little bit where they need wide receivers,
but I feel as though he'll get a lot more
opportunities earlier because of the draft capital.

Speaker 5 (19:20):
And also he's a reliable wide receiver.

Speaker 4 (19:23):
I mean, he's one of those guys that had a
ninety three percent catch rate on catchable targets last season,
So he's a guy that you could rely on, and
I think Drake may will probably lean on him more
likely than some of the veterans that are there, just
based on him just being so elusive, great route running,
little polish areas that he needs to work on, and
sometimes when he runs in the coverage. But Polk is

(19:43):
one of those playmakers that can make the play intermediate
the field in downfield. So I look at him as
one of the guys that's gonna be one of my
late round flyers, even in redraft.

Speaker 1 (19:52):
So I'm leaning Wilson, and it's mostly because I have
a little bit more faith in Russ than I do
in Drake May at this point, like at this moment,
and I think that's what it is, you know, knowing
Deontay Johnson isn't there that right now? They need a
real compliment to George Pickens in that passing game. I

(20:13):
think that is where Wilson sort of is gonna shine,
and I think he can be. He's a playmaker, right
He's the guy who can who can get yards after
the catch, he can break big plays for you. He's
not exactly the human highlight reel that George Pickens can be.
But but I think that that consistency and sort of
that uh you know. I don't want to say move
the change because that makes it sound like he's boring.

(20:34):
But I think just a little bit more that steadiness,
I think is what gives Wilson a little bit more
value to me.

Speaker 2 (20:39):
Even Polk.

Speaker 1 (20:39):
I think there's a lot of upside with Jalen Polk,
but I am I just need to see something out
of the Patriots offense before I can just jump in
on it.

Speaker 5 (20:48):
Like I said, both can crash and burn real you're.

Speaker 1 (20:51):
Gonna be like both could really have upside where you're
like crash I was like, wow, you you went that
way with it, Like, yeah.

Speaker 5 (20:57):
I'm still unsure of these two. Really. In my rankings
as well, they're.

Speaker 2 (21:00):
Well and I think that's fair.

Speaker 1 (21:02):
I mean, I think there's Yeah, it's funny because we
have the elite wide receivers, right your Harrison neighbors Odoonsa's,
and then you got sort of the mid tier guys, right,
you got your your Brian Thomas's, your Xavier Worthies, Lad mcconkey's,
what have you. You get further down though, and there are
just a lot of question marks. I think with some
of these guys, you know that that it could go

(21:23):
either way. Either it could turn out to be pretty
good or it could be like hey, remember remember Jalen Polk,
Like it could be one of those things.

Speaker 5 (21:32):
Remember Terras Marshall Jr.

Speaker 2 (21:34):
Remember Terras Marshall Junior.

Speaker 1 (21:37):
Yeah, all right, let's let's get over the running backs
though for Day two Florida. Start with you favorite and
least favorite running back spots from day two?

Speaker 3 (21:46):
Are we talking for the individual prospect or as fantasy
as a whole?

Speaker 2 (21:53):
Let's talk what what?

Speaker 5 (21:54):
What? What did you put it together? As I guess
is the question because.

Speaker 3 (21:58):
I loved Blake Korham going to the Rams from his standpoint.
I hated it from for Kien Williams standpoint because I
guess it's a fantasy show.

Speaker 1 (22:08):
We should just talk about it from a fantasy But
I agree.

Speaker 3 (22:11):
I agree because I think Korum is going to be
year one involved. You read and his scouting report, you
watch him play, and you're like, this guy's kind of
like Kyen Williams, and uh, the thing is what made
Kien Williams so elite last year Beside like, yes, he's
very talented, he's on a great offense, all of that,
but it was the fact that he was getting CMC

(22:33):
type volume and no one else besides CMC was getting
anywhere close to that amount of snaps or touches per week.
Now they have someone that they can trust to to
kind of ease him some workload off of his plate.
But also, Kyen Williams has a long history of injuries,
so if he was to miss any time, Blake Korum,

(22:54):
I think, well, moon will be in RB two. Who
can moonlight as an RB one those weeks? Like that's
how so high the upside I think is? And uh,
I know lq's guy is Trey Bentson. I think his
landing spot long term is really good. Connor has never
played seventeen games and he's on the last year of
his contracts, So don't be like, oh, these guys got

(23:15):
stud running backs ahead of them. Like, I think both
of those two could make a big fantasy impact in
year one if things break their way.

Speaker 2 (23:22):
Yeah, no doubt. Who do you like, Lukwan.

Speaker 4 (23:24):
I was I was gonna say Trey Bentson, that's my guy, bro,
because once the Cardinals took him, I was like, oh, yes,
I mean James Connor is twenty nine years old in
four days, so happy birthday, single time birthday, James. He
has not played a full NFL season and this is
the exact place that he needed to go to get
this RB one workload. And I really think we're gonna

(23:46):
see him sprinkle throughout this season where James Connor the misstime,
which it's kind of been his trend of missing some time.
I don't know if Connor gets this job back for
turning back from injury and then the trade Bentson show
starts this season.

Speaker 1 (23:59):
Yeah, I guess make it unanimous because I am on
the Tray Benson train.

Speaker 2 (24:02):
Look, I let's go.

Speaker 1 (24:04):
There's also Jonathan Brooks in there, right, I mean he
walks into when he's when he's healthy, he's the RB
one in Carolina. Once he's healthy and he's ready to go,
I'm not worried about Chewba Hubbard. I'm definitely not worried
about I mean Miles Sanders. Miles Sanders got pushed to
the background by Chuba Hubbard. Jonathan Brooks money.

Speaker 2 (24:26):
Yeah, man, there's truth.

Speaker 1 (24:27):
Yeah, the direct deposits still hits, Like I'm I'm gonna
walk away from that.

Speaker 2 (24:32):
But you know, Chuba Hubbard pushed Miles Sanders to the background.

Speaker 1 (24:37):
Jonathan Brooks, when he's healthy and ready to go, is
going to do the same to Chewba Hubbard. I sort
of like in general that the Panthers they understood what
happened last year, and so they spent a lot of
this draft, and they spent a lot of this offseason
trying to build something around Bryce Young. Like they they
looked around and they realized that the cupboard was bear

(24:58):
so like it was good to see that.

Speaker 2 (25:00):
So I like that.

Speaker 1 (25:01):
Jonathan brook Laney spot for sure.

Speaker 5 (25:03):
Oh Bryce Young?

Speaker 1 (25:05):
Yeah, can one of you guys make me feel better
about Marshall Lloyd's situation. Potentially, that's not a good that's
not a good reaction.

Speaker 3 (25:16):
There is look, I know it called it's like nine
million dollars, but there is an out on Josh Jacob's
contract after year one. So if Josh Jacobs struggles like
he did lash, like I keep saying it, that won
two years ago, that tremendous year we got out of
Josh Jacobs, that is the anomaly in his career so far.

Speaker 5 (25:35):
So if Josh.

Speaker 3 (25:36):
Jacobs has a year like those other years he's had,
or like last season, maybe they think twice about it
and they're like, you know what, we got Marshaon Lloyd
and we like him a lot, and we'll move.

Speaker 1 (25:46):
On, all right, all right? That that that makes me
feel slightly better about it. And I look, I've seen
multiple people saying something similar, right, that this is not
necessarily a forever thing, that if Josh Jacobs does not perform,
that they could move on. My fear is that Jacobs
is going to be good enough to sort of keep

(26:07):
Lloyd as the number two guy for a while. There's
just not gonna be enough, right, that it's going to
be sort of similar to what we saw with Aaron
Jones all those years where we wanted Aaron Jones to
be the guy, and there's always somebody it was, you know,
it was Jamal Williams for a while, that it was
aj Dillon, and that we're gonna get a similar situation
where we've got Jacobs and Lloyd's sort of working in

(26:28):
tandem and both guys are going to be kind of
unsatisfying for fantasy, but they'll be good enough for the
Packers to not want to move on from any of them.

Speaker 4 (26:37):
I think it's like a two year Maxwody, you know,
I think, you know, two years he'll sit behind Jacobs.
It's just that he's sitting behind a workhorse that like
one of the work horses that are left in the
NFL right now. I mean, since twenty nineteen, him and
Dereck Henry, there are only two running backs to average
twenty touches per a game. Like this is just something
that Josh Jacobs has in his DNA to kind of

(26:58):
just take all the work and it's probably going to
look ugly this year and no real fantasy impact. But
I'm hopeful for the future for Lloyd.

Speaker 1 (27:05):
All right, I am too, But you guys know how
I feel, like, I know, I'm wearing cardinal and gold
colored glasses. So I needed, you know, I needed help
on this one. And I saw the pick. I thought
I was gonna text you. I was like, yo, No,
you guys jumped in slack immediately You're like, yeah, your guy,
and I'm like, yeah, trust me, I know I'm watching it,
so like I know that I'm a little bit, you know,

(27:26):
biased in that regard. I really wanted him to go,
Like I thought the Chargers would have been a great fit.
I thought, you know, how boy, the Cowboys, the Giants,
just somewhere where he could have gotten, you know, a
big workload where he would have been, if not the guy,
something close to the guy, and that at least at
least any short term, that's not gonna happen in Green Bay.

Speaker 2 (27:48):
So so we'll see about that.

Speaker 1 (27:49):
So I was gonna ask you guys, who has the
better outlook between Marshawn Lloyd, Blake, koram Or or Trey Benson.
I feel like we sort of talked through that at
this point, right that we all like Trey Benson. I
think we all like Korum for actual football purposes, fantasies.
So so are they both ahead of Marshawn Lloyd right now?

Speaker 2 (28:09):
For you?

Speaker 3 (28:11):
Yes, Korum is my RB two in Dynasty en re draft.

Speaker 5 (28:14):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (28:16):
Wow, just because if you're tied to Sean McVay, I
get excited.

Speaker 5 (28:20):
Okay, I guess that's fair. I haven't that high too. Actually,
there we go three.

Speaker 1 (28:26):
So I put Lloyd ahead of Korum. But again, this
could be just me, you know, being hashtag fight on forever,
but also sort of this belief that you know, maybe
this Josh Jacob's situation isn't a long term one, so
I don't know, but that that again, this could be
wish casting for all I know.

Speaker 4 (28:45):
I'm not dropping the past five because he's at five
right now for me for Lloyd, So.

Speaker 5 (28:50):
He got there, all right, That sounds good.

Speaker 2 (28:52):
Take a break, we'll come back.

Speaker 1 (28:53):
We'll talk about Day three, where it was a running
back heavy Day three across the NFL Draft of what
this means for fantasy, plus we'll give you our top
ten Dynasty rankings at the end of the show. Stick
around for more of the NFL Fantasy Football Podcast. So
Day three, rounds four through seven of the NFL Draft

(29:15):
and the quick recap of Day three. Five quarterbacks. We
had six quarterbacks on Day one. We didn't get another
quarterback until day three. They just took the second day.
They got to have Friday off, So that's cool. Everybody
likes getting a Friday off. Five quarterbacks in day three,
sixteen running backs, twenty wide receivers, and nine tight ends

(29:36):
go off the board in Day three. Let's start with
the running backs because it was much more of a
heavy running back draft. These maybe not by the numbers,
but at least in terms of the guys that potentially
are impact players that went LaQuan your favorite and least
favorite running back spots on Day three, And look, I
understand like in some of these you kind of kind
of squint and you know, and squint and put asterisks

(29:58):
to make allowances when you're talking about f or least fave.

Speaker 4 (30:01):
Here, I like Kamani Vedell going to the Chargers because
I think he honestly has opportunity to even get sprinkled
in this offense this season.

Speaker 5 (30:11):
But we already know JK is on a one year deal.

Speaker 4 (30:14):
I mean the injury history between him and gush Head
which is a little shaky, So at any point one
of these guys can drop, because we saw it in Baltimore.

Speaker 5 (30:22):
They dropped in the same season again.

Speaker 4 (30:24):
So it's like one of these things where they're gonna
be running the ball and they're gonna be ground and pound.
And I don't know if these two guys ahead of
him actually have you know, the durability to last seventeen games.
So I think we might see his explosiveness, his usage
in the pass game as well as you know, a
guy that can take it to the house at any point. Like,
I just love the way this dude runs and how

(30:44):
he contribute to the passing game as well.

Speaker 1 (30:46):
Man, they just say straight up just alsin eckler By,
like they just turn he immediately gave away his bridgits.
I mean, it's just like man like y'all, even you know,
he's still probably got some shoes in his locker that
he didn't get out. Yeah, man, like that was on
that jersey, man, that was that was that was a
little harsh. Like that kind of hurt my heart a
little bit that they just gave that number away for

(31:08):
him so much. Yeah, who do you like or who
did Who's lastwick?

Speaker 2 (31:13):
Did you like? Did you not like Florio?

Speaker 3 (31:15):
So I agree with LQ on Videll. I like Ray
Davis to the Bills because they need an RB two there,
and I think he's a bigger threat to steal James
Cook's work than people want to like. James Cooker will
be the RB one, but Davis is a physical runner
who could be a goal line runner, who could also
catch passes. And then there's a Audrich estimated from the

(31:36):
the Broncos. I know they have four running backs, but
that's one that I'm gonna keep an eye on. A
couple others that I know we're gonna touch on. My
least favorite was Braylen Allen. I thought Allen was a
sleeper in this class, a big body back. Now he's
going behind Breece Hall. And they drafted other running backs too,
so in these little Michael Carter. So like, best case
scenario for him right now is UH is probably unless

(31:59):
barring injury like goal on work and that's it.

Speaker 1 (32:01):
So I did not like him falling there. Yeah, I'm
with you on Ray Davis. I liked his spot going
to Buffalo, and I'm with you. I think you know,
I think he does sort of cut into James Cook's
work more than a lot of people would imagine. I
also like Tyrone Tracy going to the Giants there.

Speaker 5 (32:19):
Oh, I forgot that happened.

Speaker 1 (32:20):
Actually, yeah, because I think I think he's a guy
that really didn't get talked about a lot during the
draft process. I heard his name's sort of come up
a few times at the end. And the Giants need
running back help, you know, Floyda, You know how I
feel about Devin Singletary.

Speaker 2 (32:34):
I like him. He's a good player.

Speaker 1 (32:37):
He's not gonna be the guy who's just like the Hey,
we're gonna lock down and he's going to be the guy.
There's room for somebody else to get some opportunity in there,
and I'm curious to see if Tyrone Tracy can be
that guy. I'm also with you. Braylan Allen was almost
called him Braylean Edwards. Braylan Allen was the spot that
I did not like, just because of what is going

(32:57):
to be in front of him there. So I I
don't see an easy path for him getting a whole
lot of opportunity. So I just I'm sort of disappointed
for him, and I guess for fantasy for that to happen.
A couple of interesting names Jalen Wright uh fast, which
means he goes to Miami because they are continuing they

(33:18):
are continuing to assemble a track team down there in
South Florida. But Lakwan, can he break through when Raheem
Moster got signed to an extension, dvon Ah Chan is
still there for now, Jeff Wilson is still there. I
could see right passing, you know, passing Wilson on the
depth chart, but but can he do enough to make
an actual breakthrough in Miami?

Speaker 5 (33:41):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (33:41):
Yeah, I mean there's a lot of layers to this man,
Like it's an important year for Raheem Moster for him
to remain productive.

Speaker 5 (33:48):
I mean thirty two.

Speaker 4 (33:49):
I mean, look that's up there in age and bumps
and bruises and stuff like that. And he also missed
it last two games of the season due to injury
with a knee and ankle, So he's a little banged
out walking into this season. Hopefully offseason done him well.
But even with a chan, I mean he missed six
games and then left one game early. Like availability is
your best ability. So I think there is a clear

(34:09):
path for Jalen Right to possibly get some usages this
year with some type of fantasy relevant weeks because I
think he's an explosive player, Like he's one of those
running backs man that you could put the ball in
his hand and he may be in the end zone
by the time you blink. So it's one of those
things where you know, if a Chan can't stay healthy,
he gets sprinkled in for some work. If Raheem Moster
is dropping down in production, it might be to a

(34:30):
Chan and right show there's a lot of different variables
with this to where I could see him making an
impact in Miami in year one and possibly year two
when they move on they have an out for Raheem
Moster so Florida.

Speaker 1 (34:41):
This feels though, sort of like last year or the
past couple of years in Miami where we're looking at,
you know, multiple running backs and it's the you know,
who do we really want? Is it as simple as
saying the guy with the best ADP is the guy
that we want in that backfield?

Speaker 3 (34:59):
No, because that'll be right, Like I think right it'll
be a late round dart throw because I agree with
what LQ said, like the two ahead of him have
both missed a lot of time last year and if anything,
and I think the Dolphins know that, and I think
the Dolphins were watching their offense and they were like,
were were not the same when we had to get
away from these two running backs. We want to keep
that speed attack, so we'll have this break in case

(35:22):
of emergency back here that will probably get some usage
at parts of the season, even if the other two
guys stay healthy. But you know, if anything happens to them, okay,
we could slide this kid in. He's really fast. And
I agree with LQ for next year and beyond, Like,
I think they view the long term future of being
a Chan as the one and right as like that

(35:42):
that number two where they almost split work and stuff
like that. But yeah, if I think you could play
that game, fine, Like I'll take MOSTRT in the seventh,
eighth round because that's where he's going, and that feels
very disrespectful after the year that he just had. I
don't love a Chan as a round one pick, and
that's where he was going early. He's now going more
round two. But even that's it's a big investment. But

(36:06):
uh yeah, so I'll take I'll play that game with
the top two and take the discount on Mostert. But
I don't think right, we'll see enough volume to be
a third in that group.

Speaker 2 (36:17):
Yeah, I mean that's sort of where I am too.

Speaker 1 (36:18):
I mean, I think I think Jalen Wright he needs
an injury, I think mostly to get a decent sized
workload here. And you know, obviously, with Moster's history and
you mentioned Lakwan, you know, h En missing time last year.
With that history, that's certainly possible. And I think, you know,
maybe he ends up being a guy that you draft

(36:40):
late and you just wait and see if something happened,
so then you are ahead of the crowd, you're ahead
of the curve and not having to worry about running
to the waiver wire. But I just think that it's
a guy that you know, if you draft him, just
be prepared to sort of sit on him for a
little bit before before anything happens. Dylan Lobby goes to

(37:00):
the Raiders, And this is another guy that I sort
of took an interest in near the end of draft season,
just because I thought he had an interesting skill set.

Speaker 2 (37:07):
Yes, they have some mere White.

Speaker 1 (37:08):
They brought an Alexander Madison, which according to you know,
Fantasy Twitter, you know, might as well have not happened
because they brought.

Speaker 5 (37:17):
Alexander madisonverybody's like, yeah, he's a beer white.

Speaker 1 (37:19):
You know, does that give you any hope that lobby
could have an opportunity in that offense?

Speaker 2 (37:26):
Lookwan or am I just am I reaching at straws
right now?

Speaker 1 (37:29):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (37:30):
He can carve out our role as a third down back.
I mean he has great route running ability. I mean
the feat work is great. I mean he's able to
line up in the slot if you want him there.
I mean he could be a real pass threat to
take off someone that load of z a mere white.
But I can see him trying to, you know, carve
something now, getting opportunities back there this year, but not
for a full workload to be fantasy relevant to go
drafting them, you know, this summer. But he's one of

(37:52):
those guys you just add to the watch list, just
watch them and just have them close and then you know,
when you start hearing reports of injuries, et cetera, etc.
Alexander Madison, obviously he'll get his one up and then
when it fails, then you already got him on your
watch list to go pick him up. Stay ready so
you don't have to get ready.

Speaker 5 (38:09):
I think he could be even better than that.

Speaker 3 (38:11):
I think he can be their past catching back, like
like LQ said, play the third down the two minutes.
That's not a role. That's someone that like I want
to start every week in fantasy, but that's someone that
like late round Darthrow in Best Ball stuff like that,
because I mean, Samir White has nineteen career targets. This
kid last year in college had sixty eight catches and

(38:33):
seven hundred receiving yards. And you watch it, Blake, like
OLQ said, he looks like a slot receiver when you
see him. So I think that he was brought into
Vegas specifically because they knew we have a good RB
one in Xemir White and a solid backup in Alexander Madison,
but we don't have that change of pace, third down

(38:56):
pass catching specialist. And I think he plays that role.

Speaker 1 (38:59):
Yeah, I mean, I think that is his role there,
you know, But I'm curious and I probably should look
this up. I mean, how much are we going to
see Gardner Minshew use him as an option, you know,
out of the backfield. That's the other kind of question there,
especially when you know you've got you got Devontae Adams,
you got Jakobe Myers. They have two tight ends that
they can throw the football to right now at Brock

(39:21):
Bauers and Michael Mayer. Like you know, by the way
I think we talked about it on Thursday night, Like
my heart hurts a little bit for Michael Mayer because
he's the guy that I liked coming out of Notre
Dame and I still think he could be something. But
he's going to have to share now with brock Bauers.
Like there's just no way around that. The opportunity to
be the tight end in Las Vegas has now gone

(39:42):
for him, and that's, yeah, that's tough. And so I
think for Lobby that that's also going to be kind
of a sticking point. If that is going to be
his role as the pass catching back. How much opportunity
is going is he going to get when there are
you know, at least three, possibly four bona fide targets
ahead of him in that offense with a or back
that you know.

Speaker 5 (40:02):
Gardner can run when he has to.

Speaker 1 (40:04):
He's not going to, you know, he's you're not gonna
think he's not gonna be Jayden Daniels or anything back there.

Speaker 5 (40:08):
He's not gonna be Josh Allen. He's too small to
be Josh Allen.

Speaker 1 (40:11):
But he's not gonna He can run when he has
to when and be effective at times.

Speaker 2 (40:17):
The wide receivers, twenty of them go off the board.

Speaker 1 (40:20):
There weren't I think as many necessarily impact guys immediately.
But of the guys who did go Florida, your favorite
and least favorite landing spots.

Speaker 3 (40:31):
From Day three, UH. I like Javon Baker a lot.
Javon Baker going to the Patriots where they have opportunities
to UH. They need multiple wide receivers to step up here,
and Baker to me was a I don't think he'll
ever be an ex but he can be an out
wide out wide field stretcher who who helps create a

(40:54):
lot of stuff for his other teammates. A lot of
what he did in college was run clear out routes.
But I also think he could be a really option
at times from the slot. Senior Bowls stand out with
someone that I highlighted as a Day three sleeper even
before the draft, and he his quotes, Man, he has
wide receiver one quotes. I don't know if you saw.
He said he makes people in wheelchairs stand up. So

(41:16):
I'm excited to see him play their least favorite there.
There was like, I, okay, I'll give you one more
that I like. I like devontees Walker going a whole
lot to Baltimore. I don't think he's a redraft guy
because I think he'll be inconsistent, but late round, like
last pick in your best balls, take a shot on
him because he's field stretching abilities for days, and he

(41:38):
just seems like the type of weapon that Lamar Jackson
will get the most out of.

Speaker 1 (41:42):
Yeah, it's funny because I had sort of when I
was talking to Harmon On on the Yahoo podcast, I
think I wish cast Detroit Franklin to UH to Baltimore
if I have it right, just just to get another
receiver there. Like they've done well, have they?

Speaker 2 (41:56):
I don't know. They got.

Speaker 1 (41:59):
Zay fly hours obviously seems to be working out Rashad Bateman. Yeah,
I think the jury's sort of still out on that,
but they do need somebody that can sort of help
in that regard.

Speaker 2 (42:08):
Who did you like? Who did you not like?

Speaker 5 (42:10):
Look on my rams.

Speaker 4 (42:12):
Man getting Jordan Whittington Man a slot wide receiver that
gave high praise to Cooper Cup and you know I
love slot wide receivers in mcveigh's offense. I think that
he can learn from Cooper Cup. That's like a great,
you know, backup plan if Cup was to face injury. Again,
he's a great guy that knows how to get open
and be serviceable, just be ready for the ball. And like,
I feel like that was such a great underrated move

(42:34):
by us in the draft.

Speaker 5 (42:35):
That's not getting talked about enough. Of course you're going
to talk about the Rams guy. Why wouldn't you.

Speaker 2 (42:42):
I'm I'm with Florida. I like Javon Baker a lot.

Speaker 1 (42:44):
I think that's a good situation there because again, they
they had maybe the worst wide receiver room in the
league last year. And so even if he is still
a little bit of a project, he's gonna get the
opportunity to play because they they need bodies out there,
any guys who can be playings, and so there's that
opportunity for him there. Didn't love Anthony Gold going to Indianapolis. Look,

(43:08):
they've you know, they've already got Michael Pittman junr. They
drafted A d Mitchell earlier in this draft. They have
guys at Josh Downs. They still have a lot of
guys there and so I think he's just going to
be blocked certainly in the in the short term. So
that was a tough one I think for me to
see Gold going to Indianapolis. Speaking of Troy Franklin, a

(43:29):
simple question lakwon yay or nay on Troy Franklin with
with the Denver Broncos.

Speaker 4 (43:35):
Uh yeay, it could be a good situation for him
where he could see Vyum. I mean, it's always talks
in the fantasy streets of a trade of Courtland Sutton,
they're getting rid of them and all this other stuff.
But even if you know Gorton Sutton is there, I
think you can't discount or knock the prior chemistry he
has with bo Nicks, because I think bo Nicks is
going to be the Week one starter. So just being

(43:57):
that you already have that plug and play can street
there with bow Knicks and Troy Franklin. I think it
will just be a lot of like automatic like security blankets.
Like I know Troy Flanklin's route pattern, I know how
he likes it. Those little things, little details won't matter
for a young quarterback like Bo Knicks that's still getting
no NFL polished. So I say yay. I'll take a

(44:18):
shot on I'll take a shot on when Dynasty. You know,
hopefully it all works out, but this offense was like
terrible to watch last season, so hopefully it can change around.

Speaker 5 (44:27):
This all right, So your thoughts floyo, yay or nay
on Troy Franklin.

Speaker 3 (44:32):
I agree, I'm in. I was all ready to just
write him off and be like, the NFL has told
us what they feel about him. And for every Aman
Russain Brown that breaks out in the fourth round, there's
hundreds who do not. But he went to the one
landing spot that I would change my tune about. Because
the Broncos are in cap hell again next year. They
need a lot of wide receiver help this year, so

(44:53):
there's going to be year one opportunity. Then you tie
in that his quarterback is Bo Nicks, who they went
to college together, and I think with a receiver needy team,
bow Nicks is gonna be like, hey, I have chemistry
with this guy. I trust this guy like we've we've
been to war together. So I think he'll get opportunities

(45:13):
in the first two years as if he was drafted
higher than he was.

Speaker 5 (45:19):
So I'm gonna go nah, on on Troy Franklin there.

Speaker 1 (45:23):
I'm yes, I think the bow Knicks thing is certainly
worth uh you know, worth noting they have that chemistry, certainly,
but you know, like you mentioned, the the offense was
not great last year.

Speaker 2 (45:36):
It was not really fun to watch.

Speaker 1 (45:37):
And what what really is just sticking with me is
the fact that Franklin fell as far as he did.
The fact that, you know, there was talk that he
could be a first round pick and suddenly he falls
all the way to day three. You know, I don't
know what it is, what it was, but something about
that just sort of rubs me the wrong way. The

(45:58):
fact that all three of the Washington receivers went right,
I mean, O Dune say, is not a surprise, but
that you know, Polk and McMillan also both went ahead
of Troy Franklin.

Speaker 2 (46:07):
I don't know. Something about that just sort of stays
with me.

Speaker 1 (46:10):
And this isn't this isn't a draft capital thing as
much as it's a what did everybody else see or
not see from Troy Franklin that let him fall that far.
That's the part that that makes me a little bit
concerned about.

Speaker 5 (46:25):
What did he do? What were the secrets, right, was he?

Speaker 3 (46:28):
He wasn't the worst gauntlet drill I've ever seen?

Speaker 1 (46:31):
Was he in a Netflix documentary when he was in
high school?

Speaker 3 (46:34):
Too?

Speaker 2 (46:34):
Like what happened there?

Speaker 1 (46:36):
Like, I don't, I don't know yet, and that that
worries me a little bit. Also the same thing about
Malik Washington though lakwanumy he's down there in Miami, yay
or nay on on mak Washington.

Speaker 4 (46:47):
Maybe in the future, I like it, but not many
wide receiver threes exist for fantasy on a Dolphins offense.
When you have Waddle, when you have Tyreek Hill, I mean,
and you have the running game that you have, it's
such a powerhouse. So I think he will be a
great addition for the offense in the future. I just
feel as though it doesn't really move the needle for
me for fantasy to go out there and draft them

(47:08):
or even Dynasty, Like I kind of lost a little
interest once he went there and it was just like, ah,
all right, cool.

Speaker 6 (47:17):
Are you feeling the same way, Florio, Yeah, Malik Washington
was a wide receiver prospect that I thought was a
sleeper and you could just check my timeline all Saturday.

Speaker 3 (47:29):
I was just like all right, the bills are up
and he's somehow still there, and they just kept passing
on him, and the NFL kept passing on him, and
two hundred picks went by and he was still on
the board. So there's some juice here because he's in Miami.
If anything was to happen to Hill or or Waddle,
we could see him maybe get some burn. But yeah,
being a six round pick buried on the depth chart,

(47:50):
that that's probably the kiss of death for him.

Speaker 5 (47:52):
See, I'm trying to believe.

Speaker 1 (47:54):
I'm trying to I think there's something there, and I
think the skill set is there. He's you've got a
coach that can scheme up something for him in Mike McDaniel.
I think that's that's a positive there. The question is,
you know, can Tua get something out of three guys?
I'm maybe I'm being foolish and maybe I'm swinging for
the fences here, but I still think there's something there
with Melik Washington potentially in this offense. I don't know,

(48:18):
but they they have redundancies at so many positions.

Speaker 2 (48:22):
Right.

Speaker 1 (48:22):
We just talked about the running back room, and now
they're stockpiling receivers as well, like I get it, like
injuries happen, guys, just you know, you want that flexibility
in terms of play calling and scheme and that sort
of thing. So there are a lot of redundancies in
the Miami offense. But I have my fingers in my
toes and my eyes kind of crossed that that something
can work out with Malik Washington this year.

Speaker 3 (48:43):
If he beats out Braxon Burials for the top slot option,
which is what his role is at the NFL level,
then I will completely change my team because I still
believe in him as a prospect.

Speaker 1 (48:54):
All right, all right, that makes me feel better coming
around to my side a little bit there.

Speaker 2 (49:00):
Anyway.

Speaker 1 (49:01):
That's our look at days two and three of the
draft is like a break come back. We'll give you
our top ten dynasty rankings. That's coming up next on
the NFL Fantasy Football Podcast.

Speaker 2 (49:14):
All right, So we.

Speaker 1 (49:14):
Talked about the next two days of the draft, where
a lot of the prospects have gone, how we feel
about them. Now it's time for us to sort of
put our money where our mouths are and talk about
some of our dynasty rankings. You're going forward, of course,
they're out in a lot of places. You can find
them for a lot of different people. These are hours,
so Florio, you can start. You do the honors, your

(49:35):
top ten dynasty rankings. Let's just say one quarterback leagues.
I know it's probably different for superflex and two qbs,
or did you do two qbs?

Speaker 3 (49:43):
I was gonna say I teachers petted it because I
wasn't sure which way we were gonna go.

Speaker 2 (49:47):
So I did.

Speaker 3 (49:47):
I did one of each. So I'll just run through
both of them real quick. Sure, one one QB Marvin Harrison, Roma, Duneesay, Molik, Neighbors.
Then I get into the quarterbacks with Caleb and Jaden,
then back to receivers with Xavier Worthy, key On, Coleman,
Lad McConkie, then Brooks, then Brian Thomas Junior. Uh super flex,
I still think Marvin Harrison Junior should be one, unless

(50:09):
you desperately need a quarterback. Then I go Caleb, Jayden, Roma, Doonsay, Melik, Neighbors,
JJ McCarthy, Drake May and then Worthy, Coleman, mconkie, Brooks, Bonix.

Speaker 1 (50:19):
All right, Uh, okay, what do you got?

Speaker 5 (50:22):
Wowser? So I got one quarterback league.

Speaker 4 (50:24):
I went Marvin Harrison, got Caleb Williams Jayden Daniels, Roman Doonsay,
and then Malik Neighbors at five, and then JJ McCarthy,
Drake May, Exavier Worthy, Lad McConkie, Trey Benson, and Brian
Thompson Jr.

Speaker 1 (50:39):
All right, all right, so mine are Marvin Harrison at one,
followed by Romeo Doonsay, Caleb Williams Is at three. I
put my league Neighbors at four just because I don't
know if I trust Daniel Doones.

Speaker 5 (50:54):
Jade. I'm gonna just I'm gonna hammer.

Speaker 1 (50:55):
You're gonna be sick of me saying this by September.

Speaker 5 (50:59):
Trust me.

Speaker 1 (51:02):
There was a four, Jayden Daniels at five, Xavier Worthy
at six, I go, Lad McConkie at seven, uh Brock
Bauers at eight, Brian Thomas Junior at nine, Jonathan Brooks
slides in at number ten for me. Yeah, I don't
know anybody else that that we missed talking about that
You guys just really, you.

Speaker 5 (51:18):
Know, want to want to discuss at this.

Speaker 4 (51:20):
Point, I think we talked about some of the main guys.
We can save it for later for tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (51:27):
All right, sounds good, which is a perfect segue into
the fact that tomorrow we're back with you with another
edition of the cheat sheet. We can talk about, you know,
maybe some guys that we missed, some of their goings
on that happened. There were other things that happened in
terms of you know, league and player movement that didn't
necessarily involve the draft. We could talk about that, and
maybe we'll talk about Jamar Chase's grill too, because yes, man,

(51:51):
that's amazing. That's it. That's a piece of work there.
You know that probably costs like two houses, but it
costs costs more than my life. I'm pretty sure that
the case there, So I was talking about that. Of course,
we'll be back with you streaming live on the YouTube's
I believe noon Pacific time, three Eastern tomorrow, so come
check that because you're still pathing. You're pathing after the

(52:13):
draft now right, Yeah, we're path after the draft now, yeah,
because we've already we've gotten to the drafts so now
it's path after the draft. So once the kawan is
done on the path, we'll get with you for the
cheat sheet as well. So thanks for yeah, thanks for
supporting it so far. We certainly appreciate everybody who's done that.
The meantime that will do it for this edition of

(52:33):
the NFL Fantasy Football Podcast. Stay happy, safe and healthy,
do good and live well. Enjoy your rookie drafts. Everybody,
We'll talk to you again real soon.
