Speaker 1 (00:01):
Live from the Windress Studios in America's greatest city, Chicago
and Heart radio station It's the French. Say good morning
to Manny the Uber driver. Shout out to Manny the
Uber driver. Is he driving two blocks to day? The

(00:21):
two blocks it takes to get the word? Friend? You've
never been to my house. You don't know how far
away it is? Seven blocks? Okay, minus two minus five whatever?
I said, two blocks, four? Four blocks more than that. Four.
I had a large bag today blocks. I had a
suitcase today. I'm not walking no anyway, can we get

(00:43):
over that? Shout out to Manny the Uber driver. I
get in the Uber. He has one or three five
on which, of course I judge people. I immediately get
in people's cars, Uber's taxis whatever it is, and I
look and see what they're listening to. And so he
was already we were already doing well. And then he said,
oh hey, Fred, and I go hey, and then we
talked for a little while and then boom. So he

(01:05):
is a champion Uber driver. If he's not double diamond, platinum, gold,
you know whatever, Uber, he should be. Well, friend's really
trying to get that five star. I mean, he already
it's already been done. I mean, the story, the score
has been given. I'm sure did you give him cash tip? No,
I'm gonna tip him right now though on the app though,

(01:26):
because he listens, I'm gonna hook that up the short
ships right when you when you talk about on the radio, Fred,
he said, he did say that to me. He didn't
say that to me, he goes, He goes, I hear
you could talk about people get mad about the short
trips all the time, he said, But nobody from Uber
should get mad because you get bonused based on the
number of trips that you make. So so if it's

(01:47):
two blocks or twenty miles, it's still a trip. But
if you do like sixty, you get bonused or something.
So he's like, nobody from Uber should ever be complaining
about taking you anywhere, because I guess you get more
if you do more actual light, little legs or whatever.
Just how the incentivize not turning down the ones that
are eight dollars or whatever. Today I did every light. Yeah, No,

(02:10):
we faced time his entire family. I spent to all
of all those Manny's parents, mom, dad, I mean I
talk to everybody. I baptized his child, it was I
officiated his wedding. It was incredible, So shout out, let's uh,
let's see the entertainment report in just a second, was
coming up in there, klin Man, that Brittany appearancing port yesterday.

(02:31):
There's so much to unpack and we have to talk
about it. Yeah, we have audio, we do. Yeah, this
is a professional program along. Come on, are you just
joining us? Waiting by the phone? Get my best Friend
Physical Friend show in the morning. Why were you left
waiting by the flowing show? Good mornings. Let's talk about Greg,

(02:55):
who you met on a hinge on waiting by the phone?
Why don't you describe how that conversation, how that match
win and any days you've been on? And then Phillis
on what's happening right now? Yeah, so, like you said,
we met on Kings. We've only been on one date
so far, but I thought it went really well. We

(03:16):
had a lot of songs to put me out. We
went out a little bit earlier in the day because
I just didn't want to be super tired for work
the next morning. But he was very accommodating and we
had a lot of fun. So I haven't heard from
him since then. I had base timed him later in
the evening after the date because I thought, I don't know,

(03:38):
I thought it would be cute, and it went really well,
so I thought maybe he'd like that that I was
thinking about him. So yeah, from from my side, I
thought it went really well. But I have not I
have not heard from Greg, so I'm not sure what
what I did wrong. You face on him right after
the date, like you guys finished the date and then
and then you went home, and we're like, I'm thinking

(03:59):
of this guy. I saw what you facetimed him. Yeah. Yeah,
I got home and I don't know. I just thought
it it might be cute to let him know that
I was thinking about him, and I wanted to see
what he was up to. Um, you know, I'm not
sure what he did answer the date. So yeah, okay,
all right, well let's see what's going on. We're gonna

(04:20):
call this guy Greg. We'll see if we can get
him on the phone and ask questions for you, and
you know, maybe he's been busy. Maybe there's a good
explanation as to why you haven't heard from him and
he's ghosting, and if that's the case, hopefully we can
set you guys up on another date and we'll pay
for that. Okay, okay, that sounds great. Can you hang
on for a second. Yeah, for sure. Let's see what's
going on. Part two of waiting by the phone. You

(04:41):
gotta hear this in three minutes after arian A pov
Fred Show one h three five Ariana. It's one three
five Kiss FM, Chicago's number one in music station, The
Fred Show's on. Hey, Rochelle, Yes, all right, you met
Greg on Hinge. I had a great time winning a date.
You felt like the day went well. You really connected.
We're hoping to hear from him again for another date.

(05:03):
He's ghosting you, and you want us to try and
figure out why. Yeah, that would be great. Okay, perfect,
We're gonna see what we can find out. Don't jump
in right at first, but at some point definitely. You're
welcome to coming on a call and let's see what happens.
Good luck, Oh, okay, thank you? Hello? Hi? Is this

(05:30):
Greg greg Good morning Fred from The Fred Show one
h three five Kiss FM and Chicago. The whole crew
is here. Um. I have to tell you that we
are on the radio right now. I need your consent
to continue with the call. Can we talk for a minute?
Uh yeah, I know it's it's a little bit weird,
but thank you so much for taking the calling for
letting us chaff for just a second. We're calling on

(05:52):
behalf of a woman who you met on Hinge name Rochelle.
Remember her? I sure do? Yeah, I figure assured you.
It's a sigh and the del boy. Okay, so um,
let me just to back up a second. She reached
out to us and said that she had met you
on Hinge and you guys chatted and went on a

(06:12):
date and had a great time. She's confused as to
why you haven't reached out bugging her, So can you
kind of fill us in on on while you may
not be responding to her or engaging with her. Absolutely definitely.
Um yeah, the date was pretty pretty great, like we
had a good time, but it was kind of what
happened after that was a little bit of a turn off. Um.

(06:35):
We went out kind of early on on a Thursday,
because she was like, I don't want to be exhausted
at worked the next day after the bar, I was like,
you know, so pretty early I'm going to meet up
with some friends. So I went to another bar and
like twenty minutes later, I see that she is trying
to face time me. So I'm like, huh okay, it's

(06:55):
kind of cool whatever, um a little odd, but I
picked up anyway, and she like didn't have any reason
to call. She was just like, hey, how are you.
So it was a little confused, and like after a
couple of minutes of like her trying to make small talks,
she was like, so, who are you with. I was like,

(07:17):
from with some friends. Yeah, I know, right, and she
then she was like, can I see everyone? Why? I
was like sure, But then but then, like even after
I showed her everyone, she was like a girl there,
this is after one day, you like literally after the
first date, yes exactly. And we went on one day

(07:41):
and you are checking up on me And I was
not this happened to me once too. This is amazing.
Well I forgot to mention that Rochelle is here. Rochelle,
why what are you doing? Like you're you're checking up
on him after the first day. I mean, you guys
went on one day. Let's say he did go out
after words, You're the one that wanted to go out early.

(08:02):
And let's say there were other girls there like you
one date. Yeah, I didn't really see the problem in it. Um,
I just I just wanted to see what he was
up to. I'm just like a curious person. I think
everyone is curious about the person that they have a
crush on, and I just I guess I just wanted
to see if he was satisfied enough with our date

(08:24):
that he didn't need to go and meet up with
anyone else afterwards. I mean, that's the fact that he
answered the phone is a pretty good sign that he's
not up to me if you were on another day,
like with his wife or something. I mean, I seriously
did he would pick up the FaceTime like you know,
so that in itself is probably a good sign. Yeah. Well,
I mean it was it was his choice to answer.
He didn't have to answer, So I don't think there's

(08:46):
anything wrong with like being curious about who he's with,
you know, Like, why does he need to hang out
with other people if he just had such a great date?
You know what, what do you mean? Like, so he
had a great date with you, so he never asked
to have human contact with anybody else ever? Again, No,
why why did you have to go to uh? Why

(09:08):
did you have to go in early. Why didn't you
just stay out and just say, forget about work and
if you were having a great time with this guy. Yeah,
I mean, what's your question on this dude? You know
it could he could be the one and you missed opportunity. Yeah, yeah,
I guess. I don't know. I thought the date went
really well. You know, you wanted to go out early, right,

(09:29):
and so he went out early with you. And maybe
he doesn't have the same work obligation. I don't know, Greg,
But you know, so you had the rest of the night,
so you met up with some friends and did your
own thing or whatever, which you have ever X with
you of course, and it had nothing to do with
other women. But I feel like as soon as early
in relationships, as soon as you're asking about other women,
especially after the first day, that's typically a red flag

(09:50):
for people because it's like, well wait a minute, like,
why do you asking about other people? We just met? Yeah,
And I, like I said, I did have a good time,
but I was already out and my friends were out
text to me being like how did they go? And
I was just like, you know what, I'm going to
meet them. I didn't think I had any like obbligation
to go right home and reflect on our great date,
Like it's weird, Well he didn't veil on the day

(10:12):
with you to go out with his boys or something.
I mean, you had to go the date finished. What
he was supposed to go home and like zen meditate on.
I don't know what was he supposed to do, like
reflect on the date and journal about it or something.
I mean that would be nice. I forgot I did
that post date. I guess. I don't know. I've just

(10:33):
been I've been hurt before, and I guess I'm just
kind of I'm scared. I was just curious, and I'm
sorry that you've been hurt before. But I think what
happened here, Greg, is you were a little turned off
by that. It felt like maybe some jealousy early on,
maybe premature jealousy or control or something like that. Yes,

(10:57):
way too early, way too early for me. Like I
get it, and I'm sorry you've been hurt before, but
like after one date, it was just too much to
have someone like checking up on me. It just made
me feel really made me feel like totally turned off. Yeah,
if you're gonna show a little crazy, you gotta wait
a few dates, you know what I mean, Like, you
gotta bag him first, so give it like three minds

(11:20):
and then FaceTime and when he's at the bar with
his friends to see if there's a girl there, he's
gotta wait a little bit. Oh, you can't all of
it on the first date, you know what I mean.
Christy just became single after about five months. If that
tells you anything, Oh yeah, don't take relationship advice from me.
You're right. Honestly, I don't know what I'm doing based

(11:40):
on the chronology. He saw the crazy and then he bounce,
So I don't know about this advice. No, I'm not.
I'm not sure. Look right, I mean you you hear
the thing, You hear the explanation. You know, is it worse?
Maybe you give her another shot, another date, see if
she behaves the same way. You know, she's aware that

(12:00):
you don't like it. She's acknowledged that it has something
to do with task behavior. You know, maybe it's something
that she gets over when she gets to know you
and trust you, and and it doesn't happen anymore. Would
you consider that? You know? I think, like I said,
she's a great she's a great person, and I had
a good time. But I don't think that's like to me.
I don't think that's something you just like fix. I

(12:20):
think that even if you like agreed to that, she
would just be doing it because she would just be
like refraining from it because she knows I don't like it,
and uh, I know, but I know it would be
like driving her bananas and eventually it would like come
to a head and she'd go out crazy on me.
So I think, like maybe someone else can deal with
that better, or like maybe she'll figure out how to

(12:43):
deal with her own thoughts or whatever. But like, I
don't think I'm interested. Sorry, that's a long answer. That's
a long no. Um Christie and uh and Rufio. Can't
you guys teach her some more effective sleuthing techniques. I'm saying, girl, like,
you got to be better at this if you're going
to do it and you can't get caught. Okay, I
mean I'm there on air, but I get caught all

(13:05):
the time. Much more effective ways to do, more effective ways. Yeah,
you could have followed him after the date and just
like you know, because he's going to eventually recognize you,
or switch up the friend's card for so often. Hey,
let me get you the excess code for Christie's Masterclass.

(13:25):
It's Look, I'm sorry, Rachelle, it's it's not going to
work out, and I'm sorry that. You know, maybe whatever
you've been through in the past is sort of, you know,
ways on you as it as it pertains to new relationships.
But maybe, you know, just not everybody's going to be
that way. Some people, most people, I think, will be
kind and nice and treat you the right way. I hope, yeah,

(13:46):
I hope so. And I think that's what these dating
apps are for. It's just kind of like to, I
don't know, get practiced with different people and see what
works and what doesn't work. And now I know that
this definitely doesn't work. So yeah, just for illegal purposes,
I've never stopped anyone. Okay, let's just get that out there. Okay, yeah,
we believe you. Um guys, thank you so much for

(14:09):
your time. Best subflected both of you. Okay, we gotta
talk Brittany and more. Next in the Entertainment Report with
k When after Olivia ad Rigo Desavo one three five Kiss,
the latest entertainment news is on The Fred Show. All right,
I was doing something else. I was doing something else, Okay,

(14:30):
doing something else. I was doing our Spanish radio show
that we do during the songs. A lot of people
don't know that we do that. A lot of people
don't know that we do that during the songs. Here
we do a Spanish radio station show, morning show. The
whole thing is, yeah, um, Christie has a puppet and
she does like a yeah you know, it's wild. It's wild. Yeah,
it's for another city though, so that's right. We don't

(14:52):
talk about it. Yeah, she does a puppet thing, but
she went to circus camp, so she's you know, she
does that one summer. And Rufio say it was clown school.
It wasn't a little circase, it wasn't. It was very
exclusive THEMEO guy, that's all he says. That's all he
does MEO. Yeah, would you like telling novel man re

(15:15):
enactments and reviews. It's incredible. I can't wait till it
goes mainstream bred as long as you don't slap anybody
with a tortio and we are good. I'm just telling you.
Paulina can say that still a cheat. I love it.
Latino Gang, I can say that this report is brought
to you by the Chicago Cubs. I got nothing I got.
Let's talk about Britney, shall we Britney? Please? Okay? So

(15:35):
talk about something more tragic. So Britney Spears testified virtually
in court yesterday, telling the truth about her dad, her
management team, and her wishes to end the long lasting
Conservator ship. She also spoke about the moment that she
first signed it over did this Tomishian not get away?
And to be able to walk away so easily recap.
I was on tour in twenty eighteen I was forced

(15:56):
to do. My management said if I don't do this tour,
I will have to find an a tourne and by contract.
But if I didn't follow through with the tour, handed
me a sheet of paper as that I got off
the stage in Vegas and said I had to sign it.
It was very threatening and scary, and with a conservativeship,
I couldn't even get my own attorney. So out of fear,
I went ahead and I did the Dwarf. When I
came off that tour, a new show in Las Vegas

(16:18):
was supposed to take place. I started rehearsing early, but
it was hard because I'd been doing Vegas for four
years and I needed a break in between. But no,
I was told this is the timeline and this is
how it's going to go. I rehearsed four to four
days a week, half of the time in the studio
and a half of the other time in a Westlake studio.

(16:38):
I was basically directing most of the show with my
whereabouts where I preferred to rehearse, and actually did most
of the choregracy, meaning I taught my dancers, my new
choreg and my set. I take everything I do very seriously.
There's tons of video with me at rehearsals. I wasn't good.
I was great. I led a room of sixteen new
dancers in rehearsals. It's funny to hear my manager side

(16:59):
of the story. They all said I wasn't participating in
rehearsals and I never agreed to take my medication. Well,
she sounds totally out of it, like you know what
I mean, sounds completely disheveled. Yeah, I thought. I actually
thought she sounded more clear than she does on her stories.
I don't watch your stories, but yeah, I don't know.
I mean, it's hard. What's she's going through is hard.

(17:20):
I just feel I feel for her because she definitely
doesn't sound like she used to, that's for sure. She says,
even from the beginning, this made zero sense. She said,
I pay people money and they control me. I work
since I was seventeen, and this conservatorship is abusive. I
don't feel that I can live a full life. One
of the most upsetting revelations is that she wants to
get married to her boyfriend Sam and have another baby,

(17:40):
but she's not allowed to get her iud removed. She
also shared that she has no privacy and caretakers even
watch her change, so she just like, yeah, I think
she's just so violated. She was very clear that she
feels abused, violated, and not only does she want the
conservatorship to end, she also wants to sue her family.
We will talk more about this obviously in the next hour.

(18:02):
Since there's so much too unpack, want to end one
a little lighter note. Jennifer Anison opened up about her
current relationship with Brad Pitt and why she never hooked
up with David Schwimmer. Jen said she had a lot
of fun reuniting with her ex husband Brad in that
twenty twenty virtual reading of Fast Times at Ridgemont High
that day. Shila Bump was the real star. You know

(18:22):
what I mean? Oh my god, he was a hand
in the truck in like y bizarre. He was in
like every time they cut him, he was in like
a different position doing something really weird. She said. Brad
and I are buddies, and there's no oddness at all
except for everyone that probably watched it and was wanting
there to be or assumed there to be. And when
it comes to her friends on screen love David Swimmer,

(18:44):
she said, even though they had something real in real life,
they were both always in other relationships. She said. They
never banged. That was the word she used. She said
she would let us know though, if they ever did.
Oh thank you for that. Jen Um Mortischuk got online today,
Just when you think things couldn't get weirder. Have you
seen the Sex Beasts or Sexy Beast show that's coming out?

(19:04):
Oh so I want to play the trailer for that
just to second. Okay, we also had that on frendshow
radio dot com. What is happening? Yeah, this is a
new dating show. I think I had my mouth just
just flirting with the play button on this thing. Yeah,
double click the mouse. Um Sexy Beasts a new dating
show where real life singles support elaborate makeup and prosthetics
to put true blind date chemistry to the test. I

(19:27):
haven't heard this yet. I want to get married, I
want to have babies. I'm like twenty six shoes health
insurance twice. Welcome to the Strangest blind date ever. Hey,
how you doing? You fall in love with someone based
on personality alone? What is your ideal? Persons? First? Personality

(19:48):
shoys really weird right now? I don't have to listen
to this whole thing. So basically the visual aspect is
what's really something? Okay, they sound all weird because they're
wearing all the makeup and prosthetics. You know. I wonder
if I wouldn't I gotta go watch the trailer. I
wonder if I would know I was being punked, Like
if I knew that I was on a TV show
and then the person looked really crazy, I feel like

(20:10):
I would know, like at that point, something's up, you
know what I mean? Like you already if you know
you're being filmed and then somebody comes along and it's like,
looks a little little sauce because you can. I don't know,
maybe not. Maybe the makeup is that good that I
wouldn't know it is what they look like. No, they're
like they're definitely know. It's not like they're trying to
make them look yeah, like you know, fat or uglier.

(20:31):
They're all like super hot underneath. You know what I'm saying.
If you don't know what we're talking about, sexy bass,
this new Netflix show coming in and they are dressed
up as these weird animals to where there's like actual
prosthetics on their face. You cannot see any part of
their face. They look like a gorilla or like Alio,
So you don't know what they look like, and you

(20:51):
go on a blind date like that. I was like, Fred,
you would definitely know, no, because it says it says
elaborate makeup and prosthetics. So I'm like what I'm thinking,
like old, Like, yeah, they like add some feature to
them that that makes them look you know traditionally what
some people wouldn't find as a driving or totally different
than they actually look. Okay, no, they look like aliens.
Yeah you know you ever heard that story? I don't

(21:15):
know where I heard this before, but it's about like, um,
I don't want I'm sure it's online somewhere. I don't
want to get this wrong, but it's it's essentially like
a guy links up with it. It's like an old
timey story, like a guy links up with this woman.
Maybe they start writing each other something, and then she's like,
meet me in the in the square at this time,
and our love will begin. I'll be holding a red rose.

(21:36):
And so she goes. He goes to the square and
there's an old, ugly woman holding a red rose and
he sees it from across the way and he's like,
oh God, like that's the person I've been you know,
like I'm supposed to be with or what I've been
writing too. And so do I go over to her?
Or do I not because I'm not attracted to her
or whatever? And then he goes over to her and
he says, hey, it's me, and she says, okay, well,
the woman over there told me to give you this rose.

(21:57):
And the woman over there is like super hot, and
that's the person and he's been talking to the whole time.
But the idea is that you know that that the
fact that he went over and addressed her anyway, even
though you know, she didn't meet the expectation that he
had in mind. The reward is that, you know, love
is stronger than esthetic or whatever. The sweet story is
so nice. Um, yeah, I think it's from the New Testament.

(22:19):
John comes out and look at you. It turns out
I've been messaging the whole time. Yeah, exactly, as long
as I wind up with the you know, the hot
person my first personality later. Yeah, No, I don't know
if I don't believe that that's what I got in this.
I know he said that. I know I heard that quote.

(22:41):
You don't go straight for the ass number at No.
I'm a I'm a big picture guy. I don't I
don't have a type. I mean, yes, typically like you know,
I don't know, like school teacher brunette. Sometimes I've literally
dated every if you you name it, and I'm going
out with it. I don't discriminate, Cryptonite, Asian, black, Spanic,
have you name it. I like everything. I like everything,

(23:02):
but I'm sort of like, I'm a whole picture guy,
you know what I mean? Because these people who are like, no,
I gotta be boobs and booty. It's like, well, okay,
but like I don't know sometimes I like that. Sometimes
I like other things. I look at the whole big picture,
and then I also, you know, you gotta talk to him.
You gotta talk to them sometimes and hear what they
have to say and then put that all together. Sometimes

(23:22):
you do well. Sometimes they have to talk to me,
which I think it's probably even more painful. Um show
by Shelley show Down eighty five five five nine one
one h three five. Oh we got another tie today?
Right yeah, Alison back for another tie in the Showdown,
which show by Shelley three minutes away they we'll do
some good news stories and the throwback throwdown name that
tune Battle fifteen minutes to a Fred show on Kiss.

(23:45):
I believe it's spent forty five minutes and I haven't
even mentioned to everyone what today is. It's over. I
can't believe the RUTHEO hasn't just done it without me
as it's the frehow on one h three five do
you have what it takes? The battle show bis Shelley
in the Showbiz Showdown Showback morning, It's Thursday. Ticket takeover

(24:14):
Shelley Today, guys, my favorite day twenty one pilots tickets
all day is what we have some big deal in fight.
That'll be the prize them the Throwback Throwdown. Today we
had good prizes because Thursday, Ticket Takeover and Throwback Throwdown
they collide. Something you know, right about this twenty one
Pilots tour. I don't know if you're familiar with it.
They're doing like six cities. In each city they're starting

(24:36):
at like these smallest venues, so like Bottom Lounge is
where they're starting, and then they'll go to like House
of Blues, the Aragon, and then the United Center. Are
doing six shows in each town. They're doing four shows. Wow. Yeah,
so they'll be here for like a full week. Which
one we have tickets to the Bottom Lounge that's dope,
and which is like super small venue, right, Oh, that's dope. Yeah,
I think it's Bottom Lounge in House of Blues. We

(24:56):

bigger and bigg I want to go to the small one,
like they're given away tickets to. Right, it's like one
of my favorite bands to see them, Like, you know,
that's actually really cool. And there's like what I don't know,
a hundred people that once people blow up, you lose
the chance to have right, everything's in a big arena.

actress and singer who's been linked to Justin Bieber and
The Weekend, said her past relationships have been cursed. Name
her Selena Gomez. The Pistons have won the top pick

(29:07):
in the twenty twenty one NBA Draft. Which city did
the Pistons call home? Detroit? Detroit Basketball. This singer, known
for songs like Loyal and Kiss Kiss, is under investigation

sister should beyond say turns thirty five today, you got

(30:42):
I guess you have. They're really it's hard for me
to know what you're supposed to say because you've only
had to do it thirty three times. But go ahead
with whatever. I'm Shelley and Alison showed me up on
the showdown. That's right, and Allison can hang with Damn.

(31:07):
I got a hydrate after that. I don't know. I'm
just wing dizzy. Um, Alison, you win, enjoy the money.
You are win number or your lost number. Thirty three
for Shelly, the two game win streak is over four
sixty and thirty three is overall record. You're part of
a very elite club. Very people have beat show by
Shelly beating Showbi Shelley. Ever, so you you're in there,
so I have it. There is not a T shirt

(31:30):
if you if you listen, you know there is zero
budget around. Then you're on. Then you're only gonna get
sixty dollars and fifty cents if she's asking for it. Okay,
well m riches girl, we'll get some copy paper out

You're not the first one to do this here, Alison

(31:51):
L Alison, what the hell you think you're dealing with?
Take that one hundred three dollars and fifty cents and
buy yourself a plaque. Who do you think you think?
I'm a rich radio guy? Get out of here. Come
on now, A hold on a second, have a good day.
Silly crazy plaque? Are gonna pay my rent? I think
I'm really trying to lights on because we can literally

(32:16):
given out one hundred and three dollars fifty and it
hasn't been any different in two years. I got a
computer from nineteen eighty over here. It's the original IBM.
It's gonna go into smith Sonia when I'm done with it.
If I load something now by tomorrow, it'll be ready.
Um okay, Shelly, what's coming up on your program? Later
on today? It's ten to noon on on the Mega station.

(32:37):
Would referee do the honors for me. Please. Yeah, really
when you do that Star Day Taka take over, that's
what it is. Yeah, thank you so yeah, twenty and

That's the whole She's like, yeah, that's it, that's all
there is. Okay, good ten to noon, Shelby, Shelley, We'll
see you then. Have a good day. Okay, all right.

(32:58):
The French show is on. Its a lot of yelling.
My voice is he's really good, tired today, but when
I say goals in University of Chicago, ingles memorial goodness
stories every day on the show Kalin Would you find So?
An eight year old boy has his brother to thing
for saving his life after a tree fell on top

(33:20):
of him during a Father's Day camping trip in Indiana.
Denise Sanchez said she was enjoying an early Father's Day
celebration with her family and five kids at Lieber's State
Recreation Area in Cloverdale when the incident went down. As
Sanchez was using the restroom, a tree fell on their
campsite and, unbeknowns to the mom of five, hit her
eight year old son, Robert. Realizing that his younger brother

(33:42):
was trapped. Nathan quickly jumped into action and rushed toward
the tree to help free Robert from its heavy limbs.
Though Sanchez didn't witness the incident, she said she felt
the impact of the tree hitting the ground and came
out of the bathroom to several people rushing towards our family.
The force the thump was so loud. I couldn't believe it.
I was pretty far from there, but I could still

(34:02):
feel it, she said. All the people from the campsites
around were running towards us, and there was this humongous
tree on the ground. Following his brother's heroic rescue, Robert
was transported by the local fire department to Riley Hospital
for Children, where he was treated for just a broken arm.
Now at home recovering, Robert said he's incredibly grateful to
his older brother for intervening and ensuring that nothing worse happened. YEA, yeah,

(34:27):
So for fourteen year old Caleb Pruett of Jacksonville, Florida,
I guess down syndrome, and he didn't like to exercise,
and I don't like to exercise either, So we're on
the same We're in the same boat with this. He
could barely cross a pool, he couldn't ride a bike
without help, and he saw the treadmill is a little
more than a novelty. So a triathlon was not on
his list of things to do. No, that wasn't though,

(34:47):
until Caleb met twenty one year old Chris. I believe
it's I don't I don't know how to save this name, nikkick.
I think it's how you say it. And this guy
inspired him and got him prepared to do a triathlon.
It was amazing and they became great friends. So Chris
competed in the grueling one hundred and forty miles swimming, biking,

(35:09):
and a running race known as the iron Man. By
the way, yesterday Christie was like, I could do a triathlon.
It's two miles of this, three miles of that, and
one mile of that. Like that's the children's triathlon. No,
Chicago has like three levels to their triathlon. And there's
a little one that I think, I think it's not
for kids. And then there's a sprint one. None of
them seem easy, but it's not this one. It's not

(35:29):
a this is the crazy one. Iron Man. Yeah. Anyway,
he's the first person with down syndrome ever to cross
the finish line. So this dude goes from not wanting
to exercise to doing the one hundred and forty miles swimming, biking,
and running race known as the Iron Man, which is amazing,
all thanks to this guy that he met. I need
to meet that guy because I can tell you right now,
if you could somehow get me to the place where

(35:51):
I could do that, let's do a friend. Then I
would look. I would be in Men's Health. I would
be on the cover of Men's Health as the greatest
looking radio body ever to ever exist. If you could
get me from where I am now of doing that,
that I would be. I'd be a model. I really would. Well,
there's no time limit on the triathlon, right, so we
could just do it and take our time. Well, I

(36:11):
mean doing take our time like we start now, we're
done next month. Yeah, because that's about what Yeah, that's
about what would happen. Um, all right, let's come back
the throwback throwdown, very heated battle. I always get a
little sweating in the under arms, at least I would
if not for the botox from Leslie t in the
underarms that makes me sweat from other places yet to
be determined. I'm not sure where. I was asking her

(36:32):
the other day when I went in there from my
underarm botox, I'm like, where does this where's this way
coming from? Now? If it's not coming out of my
under arms, you know, which is nice because it doesn't
mess up you, you know, doesn't make you look like
one of those pity like pitch stain guys. I'm not
sure where it's coming out of, like the end of
my finger nail or something, you know what I mean.
He's got to come out of somewhere. Yeah, I don't know.
Rufia with eight wins this year, Jason's catching up with five,

(36:55):
all in it with four, Kaylin has three wins and Kaylin, um,
what was she again? I couldn't hear it. She was
a queen of twenty twenty And as you guys, some
catching up to half the year is remaining though, So
there there's plenty of time and we'll play the game.
You forgot to say Christy's score and there's no need.
It's fine. Everyone knows it's a big one. It's okay,

(37:16):
we don't Yeah, it shod non existing that Christie has
a zero. Christy even had some help last week and
it was hard. That was sweet shy over there, I know,
and I really thought Shelley would bring more to the table.
I did, but sadly, but she said drop it like
a hot was by who did she say? Yeah? Which
is you know people sometimes Okay, if you answer like that,

(37:38):
I'm going to start disqualifying, like an answer like that
MAGETI point. It's it's blasphemy on this game, like it's
just not it's not allowed. And I love Shelley to death,
but like, come on now, let me come on. And
she's been in radio for three thousand years, you know,
since Jesus invented or Marconi or whoever it was, So
come on, I will play the game shown up in

(37:59):
the Winter Studios in America's Greatest city and my heart
radio station. It's the French. I feel the same way
when you try and bring me some rice. It's cauliflower,
cauliflower coler flower pizza. I'm that person. Ye yeah, but

(38:20):
it's not it's not that I don't like cauliflower. It's
that like, don't bring me cauliflower rice and call it rice.
It's not it's cauliflower. Still doesn't taste like rice. And
don't bring me cauliflower pizza and call it pizza. It's
not pizza anymore. It's cauliflower. No pizza, not really, I
suppose my definition. But toppings make it pizza. Yeah. No,
I'm just saying it's not that I don't like it.

(38:41):
It's it. Don't call it just don't try and trick me.
Who's trying to trick you? Won't call it that. They're like,
it's ordering for you. Oh, but it's close. You know,
it's so close. You should try replacing because it's so close. No,
it's not close. It's not close. I'm trying to trick you.
I got to get it's a different it's totally different thing.
I'm not saying it's bad. I'm saying it's a totally

(39:02):
different thing. Do you like your friend? Yeah, it's like,
you know, I don't know. Like, here's some zucchini pasta.
It's not pasta. It's zucchini's pasta's fire though. All right,
you guys are missing the point. I'm not saying it's bad.
I'm saying it's not the same. Come up with a
different name for it. You hate vegetables, man, what is this? Yeah?
Why do you hate us right vegetables cauliflower again, see

(39:28):
what I'm saying? Yes, healthy, what I said? O Greason? Fat?
I do I do you real rice? You know what
any real? Give me some greasy fat meat and put
on top of the cloud cauliflower eight nine, one, one
three five throwback throw it. I'm playing next two minutes away.
Your choicest to that you got Rufio, Jason, Klea and

(39:50):
Paulina and Christie and by the way, just to recap
the scores for the year, Rufio with eight wins, Jason
with five, Paulina has four, kale And with three stuff
pretty heated battle, Christie with a big fat zero. Yeah,
I'm momentum. It's momentum for the way for what twenty two?
No momentum requires like a win, correct, I'm building? Okay, Yeah,

(40:12):
we don't. We don't add all your points from the
year right, each individual game and six months of this
wow um. The entertainer reported, he's not after that was
coming up in there, Well, we have to talk more
about Brittany. I couldn't get to it all in one report.
So she didn't sound good in that clip, I mean
maybe better than she sounds in other ways, But I
just not good. I mean real, like you know what
I'm saying, Like those her IG videos, she sounds she

(40:34):
puts on that fake happy voice, but she just kind
of kind of frenetic and like I know she was
reading and I know she was nervous, but like, I
just feel bad for the whole thing. It's terrible throw
back through it. I'm playing next that a bunch of
star to give away this hour as well on The
Fred Show one h three five, Little Night Sexus on
Good Morning, What is today? Ruvio? I didn't get it,

(40:56):

one pilots tickets. This is very cool though at the
bottom line, it's very small venue, the smallest four they're
playing in Chicago and they're playing in six cities total.
That's very cool. And we have the tickets right now.
In our extremely world famous game. While you ready to play,
it's the throwback throw Down. Then I am your host.

(41:21):
We're Great DC. If you know you know now my

Thank you. You stay right their nice shop. J B
and you guys, I gotta say, for the most part,
very well behaves. I thought it was a relatively organized game.

(57:36):
Not messy. Uh it's you know, DC was not messy.
So no, DC's messy. The game is messy. Well, DC
does what DC wants. So if you haven't control, you
controlled the phone of friends to day. I had to
I had to have to be aggressive. I had to
bet on Oscar wasn't on yelling, I know, and how
many times I has to tell the guy Oscar, I'm like, dude,

(57:57):
stop stop going. It's none of us. It's so DC's
back on the I'm getting back on my PGA, going
la now um six for Jason eight Perufio. So we
got a little we got a little battle going on
in the all time standings for twenty kism. The latest
entertainment news is on The Fred Show. Following Britney support

(58:20):
appearance yesterday which, oh my gosh, so much to unpack,
the singer received support from lots of celebs, including our
very own owner Bonner Jason Brown. Aside from Jason, Justin,
timber Lay copped on Twitter to say, after what we
saw today, we should all be supporting Britney at this time,
regardless of our past, good and bad, and no matter
how long ago it was, what's happening to her is
not right. No woman should ever be restricted from making

(58:42):
decisions about her own body. No one should ever be
held against their will or even have to ask permission
to access everything they worked so hard for. Mariah Carey
shared a symbol we love you, Britney, stay strong and
our girl, Halsey said, bless Brittany, and I hope with
my whole heart she's awarded freedom from this abusive system.
She deserves it more than anything. I admire her courage
and speaking up for herself today. Britt of course addressed

(59:04):
in La Judge detailing several ways in which her dad,
Jamie and her management team has controlled her life against
her will. And we'll talk more about that next hour,
but she said, I truly believe this conservatorship is abusive.
I don't feel like I can live a fault life
hashtag free Brittany. I feel terrible for her on a
lot of layers. I mean, clearly, she has some issues

(59:26):
and some problems as she's trying to deal with. You
got controlling parents or controlling people in her lives, people
manipulating her, and it's been that way. I feel like
since she was a kid, like a small childhood, I
feel like she unfortunately has been like a lesson in
a lot of ways. She's been a lesson for you
know the way the media has treated with I mean,
she has just taken so much heat and we've all

(59:48):
learned from it. But it's really sad that someone had
to go through all that for people to learn all
of these things, and then now with our legal system,
like we just Brittany did not deserve this, and you know,
I hope she can and live a free life after
all this goes down. Drake Bell applied guilty to two
counts of attempted endangering children and disseminating a matter harmful

(01:00:09):
to juveniles. Jesus, that's really bad that he was on
a children's show. The Drake and Josh star was arraigned
earlier this month in Ohio on charges which stemmed from
an incident that took place on December first, twenty seventeen,
when he was in Cleveland for a performance. A fifteen
year old girl filed a report claiming she met Drake
at the nightclub and the two had an inappropriate relationship

(01:00:30):
online for several years prior. His sentencing has been set
for July at twelve. Courtney Love, Terrence Howard, Steven Seagal,
and Michael Madsen are the most tax delinquent celebrities in
all of California, so they're not paying their Texas Courtney
Love Owes three hundred and fifty seven thousand, two hundred
and sixty dollars to the government, Terrence Howard O's two

(01:00:52):
hundred ninety five, eight hundred and fifty to the government,
Steven Seagal two hundred and sixteen thousand, three hundred and
sixty one, and Michael Madsen who was in The Hateful
Eight and kill Bill Owos five twenty nine dollars to
the government. And this is not his first time. He's
had a lot of issues. But I've got to hire
a tax person. If you're famous and making a lot
of money, like, you gotta get someone to manage your money,

(01:01:14):
because they are. Do you think they're gonna let you go? Like,
if I'm in California, I'm looking on people's taxes. I'm
starting with the famous people and the athletes, right, and
the tech people. I'm starting with Bill Gates, let's start
with you. I don't even know if he lives there anymore.
A lot of those guys are moving to Texas, and
like why sex Maybe this is ignorant, but like, who
thinks they could get away. I don't. I just I've
never understood not paying your tax I don't know that

(01:01:35):
it's a matter of getting away with it. I think
it's that they think it's being handled and it's not right.
Oh okay, that's what I'm guessing. I'm you know, because
I'm guessing that all the money, because you're getting money
from different studios and projects, like the situation wasn't doing
something shady like it was the pew was he He
entrusted him and his brother entrusted someone to take care
of their finances. And that guy wasn't paying the taxes.

(01:01:57):
He was taking their money. Okay, right, but maybe they
in maxivation. Yeah, No, he knew, he knew, he knew. Yeah,
that's the thing. I think a lot of times it's
it's just people are ignorant about it because it's not
you know, these guys aren't getting paychecks like we get
paychecks where the company pays you every two weeks or whatever,
and then they take the money out automatically and you
just do whatever it is. I feel like they're getting
money from all these different sources, and then you've got

(01:02:17):
to have somebody who's going okay, and then withholding you
know what I mean, And I don't know. I wouldn't
know how to do it. At the end of the year,
these celebrities and actors are sitting down and going on
turbo tax. Let me file my taxes, let me get
all my receipts ready. They have people for that, and
I don't do it right. Well, I read the other
day and I just looked it up to confirm people
who are in the lower income get audited more than

(01:02:39):
fifty percent more likely than wealthy people. So that's why
people don't care as much, because they don't get audited
nearly as much as people who make less than fifty
thousand a year. Interest. Well, yeah, that's a bad strategy system,
so the irs can make more money in charge you
want to do that. Well, now I go out to
a rich people for well, they don't pay taxes in
the first place. This is wild. Don't get I wasn't

(01:03:02):
trying to this. I wasn't trying to turn this into
a political conversation. I was kind of being funny. But yeah,
I guess I started with the rich folks right that
way down. But I don't know. I guess I take it.
You don't run the irs no, I take it. I
take it. LOOKSI over it warm busted and fields person
take a little take a little glance over into that.
Let me take a look at them text take a

(01:03:24):
little candor this right at his filings. You know what?
You know? Friends got free Prime for life. Yeah that's
right for some reason, I mean getting my Amazon's I
getting charges. You can tell me, mister director of the irs,
I'm not paying my sex to We'll just you know what.

(01:03:45):
This one's taken terrible. Check myself on my own father
take obviously I can handle this one online today. I
don't know, like what is happening with these game shows
or dating show sexy beasts. It looks like a fake
show that would be in a TV show or a movie.

(01:04:08):
We I mean, I'll probably watch it so I can't
hate that hard. But what the hell is going on?
That's on French show radio dot com? All right, um,
let me see what I have here? How about a
hundred bucks to go puff? You can download the gopuff app.
We love Go puff around here and get everything you
want faster than you need. They're celebrating a milestone with
two million deliveries in Chicago and you can use the code.
Thanks Shy, one word, Thanks Shy your check out for

(01:04:28):
twenty five dollars off your order for all your summer
essential so anybody can do that. But if you want
one hundred bucks to get started like we did, and
I ordered gifts for everybody in the room, you know,
diapers for Rufio, whiskey for Kalin, Uh, Paulina, I got
you flaming hot Cheetos, And unfortunately they sent the wrong
thing for Kalin, but excuse me for Christie. They were

(01:04:49):
the extra large condom just supposed to be average size.
I like, you're still holding on to them, like you're
actually gonna use this. It's a good holding it. Maybe
I'll get an extra large suck a lucky petting, you know,
very good thing around. If you if you're kind of
pick it up for the rest of the day, you'll
have good luck if you if you rub that good

(01:05:12):
rub the rapper before you go out, and then you
see how it works. Trending stories, snacks. Sweetie, it's about
three to five kiss after. I'm a Chicago number one
hit music station Fred Show. Hello, Ellie McHenry, how are you?
I'm great? How are you great? I enjoy one hundred
bucks from gopub, you can get all kinds of junk
food and good stuff. What do we have the Jenny's

(01:05:32):
ice cream? Yesterday we had the Revolution Brewing. We had
those cookie Sweet Spot cookie candles were good, so good
you're needing. You can get all that stuff delivered to
your home. Okay, So one hundred bucks would get you
a long way. And and don't blame me if you
at the end of it you feel guilty for eating
all kinds of junk food because well, you need it.
You know, I appreciate love you need it. I have

(01:05:54):
a great tait. Hold on one second, okay, I love
you too. Oh right, it's the Threat Show on one
h three five kiss after. This is what I'm scary.
Breaking news from Miami to kick off our trending stories today,
a fire officials says thirty five people were pulled from
a Miami area condo that partially collapsed, killing at least one.

(01:06:14):
This is as of this morning. A seaview side the
seaview side of a beachfront condo tower collapsed in Surfside,
which is a Miami area town, early this morning, killing
at least one, trapping residents in rubble and twisted metal
and sending a cloud of debris throughout the neighborhood. That's
all we know about that so far. Very scary A
cases continue to drop in the US, Americans are less

(01:06:35):
anxious about COVID nineteen affecting their family. There was a
survey that found that only twenty three percent of Americans
said that they were very concerned about a family member
experiencing severe illness due to COVID nineteen, and four in
ten Americans still wear masks despite that, though four in
ten still wearing masks even though a lot of places
around Chicago it is optional if you are vaccinated. Nine

(01:06:57):
months after the declaration of an immerged agency due to
COVID nineteen, this is a crazy number. US berths were
down eight percent. I would have thought they were gonna
skyrocket because people were in their houses and I got
nothing else to do, so let's bang bang bang. And
then sometimes when you look at the same thing though
over and over, we're gonna be like, oh, get away

(01:07:18):
from that. You know, I don't need it. I mean sometimes, yeah,
I've seen that before. You've seen it, you've heard it,
you've heard of things like that happening. Yeah, yes, I
would have thought that they were going to boom, there'd
be a baby boom, but no. The December drop marked
an acceleration in declines in the second part of the year.
For the full year, the number of babies born in
the country fell four percent, which is the largest declines

(01:07:40):
in nineteen seventy three. I see that. I could see
that also because I couldn't accidentally get knocked up. Well also, like, well,
that's true, that's true. All the restrictions on having a
baby in twenty twenty, Like you couldn't do any like
it was, you know, like people couldn't go to appointments
together and be in the hospital. You had to do
so many different things to have a thought. Different things.

(01:08:02):
You thought hospital visits, I thought accidental pregnancy. There wasn't
a lot of dating and stuff like that. I suppose so.
But I would have thought people were stuck in a house.
They're like, yeah, let's do it now, you know, or whatever.
But people are also working from home. It's not like
they're just stuck in the house doing nothing, you know
what I'm saying. Like subway is trending today, um, and
they're on the hook for its tuna once again. After
a lab report found there's no actual tuna DNA in

(01:08:26):
the sandwiches. The complaint was filed with the US District
Court of the Northern District of California, suing Subway for fraud,
but the plains of alledging that they were lied to
and tricked into buying food items that wholly lack the
ingredients they reasonably thought they were purchasing. Subway responded to
the lawsuits, saying they deliver one hundred percent cook tuna
to its restaurants. The New York Times had sixty inches

(01:08:47):
of Subway tuna sandwiches from three different restaurants in La
lab tested after the chain was accused of making their
tuna with a mixture of various concoctions. The tuna was
frozen sent to the lab determined to have no ample
fiable tuna DNA present in the sample, But they can't
identify what the species is what experts say that when
tuna is cooked, its proteins breakdown, making it hard to identify,

(01:09:11):
so the labs may not be accurate. I don't know,
sounds a little son v. Thus they're not allowed to
say the Subway bread is bread because there's too much
sugar in it to can be considered actual bread yummy.
A company is putting face tracking ad tablets in the
back of Uber and Lift vehicles. A company called Alphie

(01:09:31):
announced the deal to give Uber and Lift drivers ten
thousand digital tablets equipped with cameras that will display ads,
catalog information about riders, and track their reactions to content.
Drivers or promise a revenue share of up to three
hundred and fifty bucks as long as passengers actually engage
with the content. So now you can't even save in
the bag of an Uber. Now they're gonna be looking
at everything you do. The taxis have those TVs y,

(01:09:53):
but I guess they have a TV's watching you, right,
you're watching a TV. It's watching m A space tourism
company in Florida began selling tickets yesterday for six hour
balloon ride to the stratosphere starting in twenty twenty four.
Space Perspective plans up to twenty five flights in the
first year into what is the second layer of the
Earth's atmosphere and extends to about thirty one miles or

(01:10:13):
one hundred and sixty thousand feet. One hundred and twenty
five grand apiece and one more space story today, a
Harvard professor believes that an ancient alien civilization may have
put censors on the Earth, and in back of Uberson
lifts no censors on the Earth, providing a readout on
what it's like within our solar systems habit habitable zone.

(01:10:33):
The professor believes that interstellar objects entered our solar system
in twenty seventeen and they may have been sent by aliens.
He believes that the recent UFO sidings might be a
sign of extraterrestrials following up with the censors they placed
on Earth long ago. So he lost me on that one.
I don't know. There's more space space aliens. They're they're
looking at us, they're tracking as they I don't know

(01:10:55):
if I believe that whatever National Prelien's Day and National
bob Um Pop Day today as well, and it's just
little slick day spirited pops. They got that guy, they
Roumin Vodka Delicious, get him, get him a Woodman's and
Walmart or your local liquor Star or the local liquor Star. Rufio,

(01:11:17):
you trying to steal my thing? Is? I think? Just
how did you say it so many times? Look at
you're trying to steal my vegem trying to. I'm just
trying to steal out. I'm just trying to get some
more slick. You try to, I'm trying to. We need
some more slick, because more slick. Po stole it all,
took it to her house. Sunday Tennis, Sunday tests. Come
get your slick. Get some slick Sunday tennis. You've got
some drunk tennis. I mean you've hitting the ball. You

(01:11:38):
missed the ball across the street. We don't even know where. Yeah,
they talk better than they tie. These are the radio
blogs on the Frend Show. All right, let me see you.
I got twenty one pilot tickets. Give me those in
about seven minutes. Why Rufio, because it's say ticket take over.

And we got invited to repel down the side of
a building. Um, and yeah we are. We are going
to do it. Yes, it's called over the Edge and
something Chicago Centers due to kind of raise money for them.
And I'm really nervous because I've never skydived. I've never

(01:13:05):
repelled down a building or anything. Um, yeah, most people
haven't repelled that a building. It's the building is twenty
Westkinsey Street. I don't know what exact is we work
building okay there downtown. Oh yeah, it's like a hundred
I don't know something stories. Goods, it's not a hundred stories.
We're going from the seventeenth floor down, we're going to stories. Yeah,

(01:13:30):
it's like two blocks you know, like it's like the
same things. It's like how you like two blocks away
and it's four blocks away. Feels going from a different
place for me. Apparently I'm gonna have a big fish here,
you know. Okay, so seventeen stories and you're repelling down
the side of it. Yeah, we're doing it tomorrow at
two pm when the two pm time slot. So if
you want to come see one of us fall off
