Speaker 1 (00:01):
I'm reading a textic got confused. Someone said the Dehliary
five k is six to it. That's not the one.
That's not the one run for us for our Chicago friends.
Is the end of July, I believe, And we're working
on a discount code and a team. But Rufio has
already committed.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
To running it. Kiki has committed to running it. No,
I know you, I'm running it. I love Gus, but yep,
Thursday July twenty five, that's the one we're talking about.
But we'll work on all of that.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
And if you listen somewhere else and you want to
come run a five k to benefit pediatric brain cancer
research and treatment, we'll tell you how to do it too.
You know.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
I got a text from Arkil Deanna there. She's like,
I heard you signed up to run.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
I was like, I didn't know such things right, I
will be there to support you.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
Should run. I guess if Jelly Roll could do it,
but he trained for like a year. Where's the video
you see Purple Jelly Roll running.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
I don't believe it, so I don't believe me.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Don't put that on Jelly.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
I believe he did it, but he was still a
bit big boy to run to run three point one miles.
I mean, he lost seventy pounds, but he had a
lot to lose. He's a big boy, yes he is.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
Are you forcing us to run the whole thing or
because you volunteered?

Speaker 1 (01:11):
First of all, I didn't force anybody to do anything.
You said you run to it. Second of all, I
just want to complete the five k. Oh yeah, No,
you don't have to run the whole thing.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
Okay, yeah, like my gide in thee on a different
level over here, So Gideon the torturer who just sent
me another emoji of liquid because he wants me to
drink more water.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
I need to get new water because now you got
me thinking that he's not drinking water here it's bad water.
I got to finish my coffee first. But he tried
to prove a point to me yesterday because I was like,
I nobody, I don't know if you've ever thought about
this or care. But so I'm not a runner and
I have a run a five k like fifteen years
and I've got this trainer and I've lost some weight
and I'm working on him. And he's like, you're going

(01:52):
to run a five K, and it just so happens
that I am seeing a five K that I have
for years. So then I'm let's just run it. Fine.
He's been trying to trick me in the running five
k's along the way though, like hey, what are you
doing Sunday morning? And I just know now to say
I'm busy because what he means is, let's go do
that hot chocolate five k.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
You know, yeah, let's go do the you know, white
people are always running a five.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
And they got one every day.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
Yeah, no, we're not doing a Mother's Day there or that.
We're not doing a Father's day five k. We're not
doing the you know, we're not. We're not doing it running.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
What are we running? No, we're not. We're not doing it.
I'm not, We're not.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
But he I was like, the pace on the treadmill
is like a six pace if you want to run
a sub thirty five k, which I have no business doing.
But I'm like, dude, I can't run for three or
four minutes consecutively on a six pace on the treadmill.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
I can't. Like I've tried. I'm not there yet.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
And so the other day he was like, Okay, he's
like run, you're gonna run for three minutes and then
you're gonna walk for a minute, and you're gonna run
for three minutes. And we did that for ten minutes
and it was a mile. So his point was, you
don't have to run the entire thing, Like you can
run for a while, walk a little bit, run a
little longer, walk a little bit, and you'll still get
a decent time, Like it won't take you an hour.

(03:18):
So I think anybody could. It's possible. Right, you don't
have to like sprint the thing. Okay, you'll be fine.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
Yeah,
