(01:47):
We went ahead and we went ahead with a new tucks.
You should see it, can't wait, you should see it.
It's like a bright pink It's really nice. Yeah, it's
really nice. Yeah it's ruffle. I got ruffles. Okay, Yeah,
I decided. I decided ruffles.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
What are you awesome powers?
Speaker 1 (02:00):
I did to go retro with it? Yeah, no, I did.
It's bright pink, it with a cumber button and ruffles. Yeah,
no I do. It's it's not it's it's a normal tux.
But I just decided. You know, I'm a big I'm
a I'm a big age. Now I'm a big grown
man and it's time you have a big grown man tucks.
And so I got myself a grown man.
Speaker 2 (02:19):
TuS do a bow tie.
Speaker 1 (02:21):
It's a bow tie. It's just self tie. Which is
that's it's a little risky. I'll tell you what. It's
a little risky because I've only done it a few
times and I have to watch YouTube every time to
remember how to do it. Not tie a lot of
bow ties. Yeah I used to, of course, and you know,
when I was working at Labert putting myself through college.
But that was a that was a pre tiede bow
tie that I didn't I didn't custom tie that every night. So, yeah,
(02:43):
do you know how to tie? You know how to
tie a tie? No, you don't do it. Do any
of you know how to tie a tie?
Speaker 3 (02:48):
I did at one point. I don't know if I
still could do it.
Speaker 1 (02:50):
There's an executive in this company who attended something recently
who I love, but someone had to tie his tie
for him. And he's a very high level guy. But
it just goes to show the suits don't wear suits
upped here. They don't even know how to wear a tie.
Speaker 3 (03:01):
No, they wear a dressy sneaker, jeans or a blazer.
Oh yeah, because they're they're fun and business.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
Yeah, there is absolutely And I'll tell you what the
uniform is. The uniform is whatever our chairman's wearing at
whatever stage, is what everybody else wears. And it's typically
it used to be. Yeah, it's jeans, it's right, it's
some kind of like a snazzy sneaker. Yeah, it's a
white button down, usually tucked in unless he untucks it.
Then sometimes it's untucked. And then it's a blazer. And
(03:30):
and that's the right. And then if he decided, if
that dude showed up in a forever lazy, Like it's
a snuggy with a flap in the back. Everybody would
show up with a forever lazy to the next meeting.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
I would love that.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
And it's the same with the corporate culture, like the
words that they use, Like if he uses the words,
then everybody else uses the words around here, and then
I have to go online and decode what the hell
they're talking about, because there's all abbreviations of actual words.
But it's like what was the last one pressy for?
Instead of presentation? It's like can you not say present
Is that too hard to say? Or like what are
(04:01):
some of the other ones you hear? It's all about
the deck? Oh, the deck we need to add the
dock we're circling back.
Speaker 2 (04:08):
Is that a power point? A deck is a power point?
Speaker 1 (04:11):
They call it a duck? Yeah, and I would I
wouldn't survive at a real job. I have no concept
of honestly, like, I've done this my whole life. I
don't know how to do it. If you asked me
to a spreadsheet that worked, like I can type stuff
in the boxes, but you wanted to like add stuff
up and subscribe, you know, give me a percentage. Yeah,
not happening. I can barely use that printer out there.
Speaker 4 (04:31):
I need to tell them that they if they were
really bad, I would rip up their birth certificate and
they will have ceased to exist.
Speaker 1 (04:37):
Whoa WHOA Fread Show is on Hold on now. It's Friday,
November fourteen. The frend Show is on high Kalin. Hello, Hi,
Jason Brown, It's murder.
Speaker 5 (04:50):
Good morning.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
I think we just I think you're right. I think
we just needed to go with the evidence that we
have from job rule and just we're just gonna go
with He's going to be playing your wedding.
Speaker 5 (05:00):
The man said it. Okay, he said it on Instagram.
He followed me this morning.
Speaker 1 (05:06):
It is no he say it's happening. Yes, it is happening.
Waiting by the phone is new and next one did
somebody get ghosted? Six hundred bucks with show by Shelley
in the Showdown five questions, you beat her? That money
is yours to Friday Throwback Dance Party on the Way
and the Entertainment Report. What's in there? K woo.
Speaker 3 (05:20):
Clay Thompson is not happy about what was being said
about his girl. We got to talk about it.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
Hey, your boyfriend Trevor. Yes, g you want to five
and Raleigh? He did right? Well, you I don't call
him that, you do. It's weird when I call him that.
He touched me though, He and Kyle and the whole
crew there. They're doing a food drive in Raleigh at
my favorite place, the Walmart in Carrie on Kildare Farm Road,
where I've spent hundreds of hours, probably more time at
(05:47):
that Walmart parking lot in Raleigh than and I lived
in North Carolina for a while and I still spent
more time there. But he said hi to you specifically?
Oh he did no, But I put awful it again again?
(06:10):
Is there anything that's been left to say? Did you
not get it off your chest the first time?
Speaker 2 (06:14):
To make right?
Speaker 1 (06:16):
Because this is, by the way, the same person who
hates me deeply also was looking for an eighty five
inch TV and another thing. So they, you know, people,
they I don't think they realize that that when they
type bad things in under the same user name, that
you can see other things that they type two.
Speaker 3 (06:31):
That's a big TV.
Speaker 1 (06:33):
It is a big TV name. Got money it is, Yeah,
they got the money. Yeah, they're rich. Haters. Jeans are tight.
There's no question about him. I just I gotta like
wear these app before I can get the new ones.
And I need all the help I can get.
Speaker 3 (06:46):
What you need to defend or explain your You want
to wear some legings where well they they're jeggings.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
Look, I need all the help I can get. Okay,
So it's fine, But I was thinking, you know, normally
when Trevor comes up, we Selene deon. But I kind
of already used my I played Tupac already today and
you know, the double down. The Boss, he absolutely loves it.
He loves it when I when I take songs out
and put songs and especially songs that we don't play.
(07:13):
Even though even though the Selene just fires me up.
Really a couple times a year, I need it. But
that's okay, I'm not gonna do it yet. That there's
still time. You know, I'm still here for a couple
more hours a minute. And plus that's some of these
stations are playing Christmas music. Now. I feel like it's like,
who's listening anyway? May as well, may as well just
(07:33):
go wald Selene. Exactly one of them will play your wedding.
Two of them are still live to do it.
Speaker 3 (07:43):
Yeah, say three, that's a great festival.
Speaker 1 (07:46):
That wouldn't that be a great festal I saw a
video last night of all things. It was MTV. I
don't know what it was. It was Selene performing, that's
the way it is. I don't know why this came
up with in sync and like basically every pop star
of the era standing behind her, and like they didn't
really have their microphones on. I couldn't hear any of
them and they didn't need to be they were, they
had microphones and they were actually singing. Like justin Timberlake
(08:08):
was in like a trench coat sitting next to her.
But I don't think they turned his mic on, because
why would they, because we don't get in the way
of Mama Selene. We just don't do that. But but
like Lance Bass was up there, like he must have
just been living. Yeah, like of all the things Lance
Bass has ever done, and he's done many things. Yeah
he's everywhere, but he must but he must have just
like looked at he's you know, he was wearing like
a I think it was like a zebra print suit
(08:30):
or something. But he must have just I mean, he
was standing next to Selene. It's like I did it like,
I don't care. I can play football stadiums, I can
play all over the world. I'm standing next to Ma,
Ma Seleene. I did it. I did it. Yeah, that
would be a dream come true. Anything want to say,
Trevor before I move on to waiting metaphone? I love you? Okay,
stay warm out there. Baby's sitting here now. I'm be waiting.
(08:54):
Next question. Ever been left waiting by the phone. It's
the Harry, Good morning, welcome to the show. How are
you Hey, good guys, I'm doing okay, doing okay. It's
waiting at the phone, so I can understand why you're
okay because you feel like you've been ghosted by this
woman Angel. But we need all the backstory. How did
you meet Angel? I want to know about any days
you've been on and then where things are now.
Speaker 6 (09:16):
Yeah, so we met at the dog park, which I
thought was I thought it was kind of cool, you know,
like sort of a like natural organic kind of meeting.
I remember I first started seeing her there I don't know,
maybe a month ago or so, And yeah, I thought
she was cute, that she.
Speaker 7 (09:36):
Was very seemed nice, and our dogs kind of like
got along. So we started talking a little bit, and eventually,
you know, we started to talk a little bit more,
and finally I asked her out on a date. She said, yes,
we had. I thought we had a really good time.
Speaker 1 (09:53):
But I haven't heard anything from her since then. Okay,
and you haven't seen her at the dog park, because
I guess that's the peril, he asked, if someone at
the dog park is that you know, if it's near
your house, it's convenient, and then you know, you meet
and if things go awry, then you got to go
to a different dog park.
Speaker 8 (10:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (10:08):
I mean I wouldn't see her all the time anyway.
Speaker 1 (10:11):
At the dog park.
Speaker 7 (10:12):
It was sort of like only a once in a
while kind of thing. And I just haven't seen her
there since the date.
Speaker 1 (10:17):
So but I'm not I don't know.
Speaker 6 (10:19):
I just assume she's on kind of a different schedule
in general.
Speaker 1 (10:22):
Okay, that's fair. But you guys, you had what you
thought was a really good date and you have not
seen her, You have not heard from her, She hasn't
responded to any I assume you've texted and reached out
and she's not responding to you at all. Right, Yeah, no, nothing,
All right, Well, let's see if we can help you.
We're going to play a song come back. We'll call Angel.
You'll be on the phone at the same time, Harry,
and we'll ask some questions. We'll see if we can
work this out. The hope is that we can straighten
(10:43):
things out and set you guys up on another date
and we'll pay for that. All right, all right, sounds good, Harry. Yeah,
let's call Angel. You guys met at the dog park,
of all places, and you chatted it up and it
was kind of a progression. Got her number, asked her out.
You thought the date went really well, but you haven't
heard from her. Sins the date. She hasn't responded to you.
You've reached out, you haven't seen her at the dog park,
(11:04):
and you're like, hey, what happened here? Because you thought
it was a great date.
Speaker 6 (11:08):
Yeah, I thought we had a good time.
Speaker 1 (11:10):
I don't.
Speaker 7 (11:10):
I'm not really sure why I haven't heard from her.
Speaker 1 (11:13):
Okay, we're gonna call her now. Good luck, Harry, all right? Thanks?
Speaker 2 (11:23):
Hello?
Speaker 5 (11:24):
Hi?
Speaker 1 (11:24):
Is this Angel Speak? Hi Angel? Good morning? My name
is my voice cracked? There him going through puberty. Hi Angel,
my name is Fred. I'm calling from the Fred Show,
the morning radio show. She's probably like, who is this moron?
I can't believe you haven't hung up yet. No, Angel,
I'm sorry to bother you, but we're calling. Uh we're
on the radio right now on the Fred Show, and
(11:45):
I would need your permission to continue with the calls.
And okay, if we chat for just a second, you
can hang out at anytime. Sure, Well, thank you very much.
I appreciate you putting up with all of this. But
we're calling on behalf of a dude named Harry. I
guess you met him at the dog park. You guys
went out recently. I hope you remember this guy. Yeah,
I remember Harry, you do, Okay, So he reached out
(12:06):
to us, Angel and he said, you know, he told
us a story about how you met and going out
or whatever, and he thought everything went really well and
was hoping to see you again. Says he's been reaching
out and you haven't been responding to him, and so
what we're trying to do is figure out why. Yeah.
Speaker 9 (12:20):
Yeah, no, I am not responding to him. I did
not have the same experience that he did on the date.
Speaker 1 (12:25):
You didn't, Yeah, because he he's actually, you know, kind
of puzzled about this. Whole thing. So what's your side
of the story. What happened?
Speaker 9 (12:32):
Well, yeah, we met at the dog park and we
went out on a date, if you could call it
a date, I guess. He picked me up and we
drove to Target and he just said he had to
like run and really quick to grab something. And when
(12:53):
he came back out, I you know, assumed that we
were going to like head to like the restaurant, but
then he he like pulled over again and and he
just like said like, hey, I have to like go
drop something off, like just to my friend and I'll
be right back. And so he did that, and then
I was like, Okay, this is a little weird. This
is like the second errand I guess, but sure. And
(13:17):
then he got back in the car saying he wanted
to grab a coke from McDonald before dinner and asked
if I wanted anything, and I was like, no, I'm good, no,
And at that point I started to be really I
don't know, it was like kind of annoyed, like.
Speaker 1 (13:35):
Like like can you handle this before you pick me up?
All right? So so you go to Target, you drop
that off, you go to McDonald's.
Speaker 9 (13:41):
Yeah, we go to McDonald's and he comes out with
food and then I was like what I thought we
were going to dinner together. And then he was like
on his phone and I realized he was. He was
like actively door dashing.
Speaker 1 (13:54):
Oh wow. So the dude was working his way. He
was working his way to the restaurant, like oh wow,
wow something.
Speaker 9 (14:10):
And I was like, dude, like, we're we're on a
date right now, Like are we trying oh my god?
Or am I like just tagging along for work with you?
It was so weird. So so he went. We eventually
got to the to the bar.
Speaker 8 (14:24):
And.
Speaker 9 (14:25):
You know, I had a drink because I really needn't
want at that to shift. Yeah, and then I yeah,
I decided I didn't. I didn't.
Speaker 7 (14:33):
That was it.
Speaker 9 (14:34):
I didn't really need to see him again after that.
Speaker 1 (14:36):
How much are you guys making tips?
Speaker 3 (14:37):
That that's our money? Yeah?
Speaker 9 (14:41):
You hit me out too.
Speaker 2 (14:43):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (14:44):
Okay, well I forgot too much and that Harry is
here and I'm very forgetful, like you caught up in
the story. I'm sorry, Harry, you you didn't tell us
about the part where you were door dashing your way
to the restaurant.
Speaker 7 (14:55):
I mean, listen, it was on the way anyway, and
look I'm I'm hustle, Like I'm a hustler.
Speaker 1 (15:02):
And by the way, all the money that we made
on the like all.
Speaker 6 (15:06):
That stuff, I paid for the date, Like I paid
for the date.
Speaker 1 (15:08):
So I don't see what the big deal is, bro, Like,
you can't, you can't. You got to tell someone if
you're doing this, Like I've seen people. I've seen people
door to ash in tandem. Like I've seen where one
guy drives and then the other one like does the
drives and stuff I've seen. Yeah, no, I've seen this done. Okay,
So like I get a little little teamwork, you know,
I understand, like little little time spent. You know, it's
(15:30):
that's your love language or whatever. Like I got it.
But but you got to tell the person that we're
doing this, Like, hey, I tell you I got one
more hour to go. Do you have me to pick
you up before or after? Like you can't just sort
of slip that in because I think that's kind of strange,
Like why are we going to random people's houses and
giving them things? Like you know, I don't know, it's
just on the way. I figured, what's the big deal,
(15:52):
what's the harm and doing a couple of runs.
Speaker 9 (15:56):
That's so flimsy. Seriously, listen, I.
Speaker 1 (16:00):
Picked you up, I paid for the date. How often
are guys doing that nowadays?
Speaker 2 (16:04):
Made your work, put you to work bus see you
know what I mean? Yeah, but it's okay. It's you,
you know the girl.
Speaker 4 (16:11):
If you had to pay for the date, and because
you guys at indoor dash to make enough money.
Speaker 2 (16:15):
For the date, we'll be hearing about that, wouldn't we.
Speaker 1 (16:18):
Yeah, But I mean, look, you're writing for this guy
kind of when you ask someone on a date, when
I see one, you got it, I think you got
to be prepared to like pay for the day. You
gotta you gotta be. It's about the other person. It's
not about you, you know.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
And I know no guys, it would be a problem
there was not enough money to cover this date.
Speaker 1 (16:38):
I would to argue that maybe you don't go on
the date, or you or you say up front like
hey can we split this, or I don't know. I mean, look,
I'm not suggesting that everybody has to pay for everything
all the time. I understand that money can be tight.
It doesn't mean that you shouldn't be dating. But I
would say, and this might be the most controversial thing
I've ever said. Hang on tight everyone. Okay, but if
you're dating and you're asking a woman out from a
(16:59):
male perspective, on a first date, I think you should
be prepared to pay for the date and make that
person feel special and not do a real quick run
through to drive through to pick something up for someone
else who we don't know, crazy.
Speaker 9 (17:12):
Like genuinely, Harry, I don't think I would have cared
if you had said, hey, I want to like take
you out on a date, but like I like, let's
do something that's like low or no cost, like that's
that would have been fine, Like I really don't care.
I liked you, and well now I I got I
got the itck I'm sorry.
Speaker 1 (17:31):
I did, all right, Harry. Look, I understand the situation
you're in. I see what you were doing. It's not
that it's not the most romantic thing. And I think
this is the time to put our best foot forward,
especially early on. And some communication would have been really
helpful here too, I think. But Angel, I'll ask the question.
I think I know the answer, But would you like
to go out with Harry again? We'll pay for it
and and and well we'll DoorDash whatever you want from
(17:52):
someone else or whatever.
Speaker 9 (17:54):
I'll take the DoorDash the door dash myself.
Speaker 1 (17:57):
But uh, I don't know because if we give you,
we give you DoorDash money and Harry might be the
one showing up bringing it to you, so which could
be awkward. Now, But all right, Harry, look, I'm sorry man,
it's not going to work out. But I wish you
both the best of luck and thank you for your time. Thanks.
Calin's entertainer report is on The Fresh Show.
Speaker 3 (18:15):
Elon Musk, as we know now is on track to
become the world's first ever trillionaire. Trillionaire and Billie Eilish,
who just a few weeks ago made her feelings very
clear about billionaires. As you can guess, she's probably not
happy about.
Speaker 2 (18:29):
The trillionaire situation.
Speaker 3 (18:31):
In response to the news that Tesla's CEOs net worth
is nearing thirteen digits.
Speaker 2 (18:37):
That's how many digits?
Speaker 1 (18:38):
Just a thousand billion, right? A trillion would be one
hundred billion times ten, right, so it would be a
thousand billion.
Speaker 2 (18:49):
Great.
Speaker 1 (18:50):
I don't know. I mean, it's the numbers. I can't compete.
My TI eighty three won't do it, So I'm not sure,
I don't know how many zeros to put in or whatever.
Speaker 3 (18:56):
We're the best at fast math around here, so you'd
be the one to answer that one. But in response
to the news, Billy reposted a carousel of infographics of
ways that Elon could use his money for good. I
think one of them was like solve world hunger, and
she basically said some choice words.
Speaker 2 (19:13):
She called him a coward.
Speaker 3 (19:14):
She called empathetic after all these reports, so that is
how she feels.
Speaker 2 (19:19):
If you guys were.
Speaker 3 (19:19):
Wondering, told you guys yesterday that two former NBA players
were on the Hope and and holler In podcast and
joked that Clay Thompson's relationship with Meg THEA Sallion was
the reason for his recent shooting slump, tossing out some
pretty crude comments in the process. The clip, of course,
blew up like we talked about yesterday. Posting to Instagram,
(19:40):
Clay shared his feelings. He was defending his woman. He said,
referring to my girlfriend as a P word is so
disgusting and disturbing, especially from someone who played in the NBA.
How would y'all feel if I referred to your wives
in such ways? He tagged them directly at adding do better.
Very disappointing, so.
Speaker 5 (19:59):
Writes place stand one business about your girl.
Speaker 1 (20:02):
Yes, it can't be that he's had injuries, that he's
getting older, that you know, the team's not as good,
or it can't be that, right.
Speaker 3 (20:08):
Blame to be her fault. Yeah, and their relationship I'm
obsessed with. Did you see him pick her up from
the airport.
Speaker 9 (20:15):
And he was late?
Speaker 8 (20:16):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (20:17):
Men, take note.
Speaker 2 (20:18):
He said, I'm so sorry I was late.
Speaker 3 (20:20):
I lost check of time. There's no excuse I should
not have been late. He had roses and they just
went off into La la land.
Speaker 5 (20:27):
Yes, please take notes, Timothy. Okay, he picked me up late,
and he just stopped answering there's no point of us
talking while I'm trying to get to you.
Speaker 1 (20:37):
I was like, excuse me, yes, okay, I'm blame my
girlfriend from my demise too, Just so you know you do.
Speaker 3 (20:43):
Are you having a demise? I feel like you're going up.
Speaker 7 (20:45):
You have a.
Speaker 1 (20:46):

Nobody could hear him right or so was that like
an audio issue with that or something.

detro it out and things. So I just I just
want to say my prayers have been answered and it's
going to be a good halftime show.
