mean the photos are jarring. More than two thousand homes, businesses,
and other buildings have been damaged or destroyed, and at
least five people are dead in the wildfire scorching communities
across Los Angeles County, making this one of the most
destructive firestorms to hit the region. The bodies were found
in different structures in Altadena, where the Eaten Fire exploded

Tuesday night, giving residents little time to flee. It's estimated
that more than a thousand structures have been destroyed in
the Palisades Fire and another thousand either damaged or destroyed
in the Eaten Fire, so they get two going on.
One hundred thousand residents were forced to evacuate. Red flag
warnings remain in effect for La County and much of
Ventura County through today, with officials warning of life threatening, destructive,

and widespread windstorms. Because that's another thing. You've got winds
blowing up to one hundred miles an hour, the gusts
are up to ninety nine. I think it was winds
will linger and become more widespread in the coming days.
There's controversy though, because the lam Karen Bass is refusing

she was. I guess she wasn't even around or visible

like figure out if you have good mental health, which
is probably a good thing, but there's places you don't
expect it, like the dentist or the chiropractor, which is
where I went yesterday. I needed a new chiropractor. I'm
in like a ton of pain. I have TMJ, which
is with your John it kind of runs like through

my whole body. And so I was filling out their
intake form and it was really in depth on like
my mentals, and I was kind of like, may I'm
asking me this.

So they gave cat you might have to do with
the stress that you're carrying.

Speaker 2 (30:39):
Way in that case, you might have to do with that.

Speaker 1 (30:41):
But I want to say that this is a thing
that's going that they're doing now, like they do it
at the like the general doctor or whatever. Internal message. Yeah,
And I think it's because you're like alone in a
room and there wouldn't be anyone else around you, so
you can answer the question honestly, like in a safe place,
like maybe you're in an abusive relationship and you can't
tell anybody else well, now you're in this room and

like nobody would think to go in there with you.
So then they ask you this question that might be
your like outlet, right, that might be your your your
rescue to be like, yeah, no, I actually things are
not good at home, and then maybe they could. I
think that's why they do.

And I'm used to being asked like are you anxious,
do you have depression? Whatever, and i'mas like, check check,
check one of everything.

But this time they were giving me categories like friends, family,

out of one hundred percent, what would you rank yourself
including mental, physical, everything?

Yeah, well I'm I'm starting to I'm not at three lying.

drinks you know? How many in fifteen minute period? And
then on a Friday and in two per fifteen minutes. Yeah,
I don't know, it's like how many you know what
else they ask you, Oh, my sexual partner is like
I don't know, yeah, don't do that, and that's actually

But and then I told you, well, yeah, and my
mental health is doing a lot better than it has
in the past. So I was kind of happy with
eighty two percent all in, and I'm you know, my
physical knock on wood is good, but yeah.

And then the nurse asked me to ask how tall
I was. How high are you? And I said, not
right now, maybe later, Like have you ever heard someone
ask higher? Yeah, so I don't know about this.

But so it was very interesting, and I of course
overthought every question because I'm like, well, you know, there's
