gave that.

Oh that's Yesterdays.
Speaker 1 (00:29):
You're the new thing that you know what I'm saying.
You let them know.
Speaker 3 (00:33):
We don't care about a safety announcement anymore.
Speaker 1 (00:35):
No AI voice whatever, probably techniques and put yourself on
the way. Don't be an idiot.
Speaker 2 (00:44):
Yeah, no, I I got upgraded slightly. They told me
it was on Hulu, but I think they lied to me.
I don't think it was on Hulu, but they told
me it was.
Speaker 1 (00:52):
He made the TV broadcast. Well, they said that you
did it for you, but there's no evidence. I go
this on Hulu. They go, oh, yeah, this is on Hulu.
I'm like this show that we're currently no here, Oh no, no, no,
this is on Hulu for sure. I'm like, Okay, I
(01:13):
don't know if that actually happened.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
I think if it did somebody would have told me
that they saw it. But anyway, Yeah, no, it's I
got to.
Speaker 1 (01:20):
Like, uh, I got to do more stuff.
Speaker 2 (01:24):
But it was, you know, more like making sure secrets
had ice and then I and then he make sure
he hit sushi was right, you know, I had to
do that, you know. So did you have fun, Jason
Brown of the Eye her radio music festival.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
I did have fun. I miss you guys a lot,
but yeah, I did have fun in Vegas. What were
your highlights? Oh my gosh, obviously Kelly Clarkson, Hello, I.
Speaker 2 (01:45):
Can't believe you didn't finagle a way to like get close,
like real, real real close to her?
Speaker 1 (01:49):
Was pretty close. Yeah, no, I mean like in person though. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:53):
She was in the room that I was in for
like three minutes and I freaked out a little bit.
Speaker 1 (01:58):
She looks so good whatever.
Speaker 4 (02:00):
She was mad because whatever they had her and she
couldn't lift her arms over her shoulders.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
She's like, I would hug you guys, but I literally
can't lick my arms like whatever bodies she had on.
Speaker 4 (02:08):
But she killed the stage and in the words of
Ben Hamen this morning, Kelly Clarkson's lit.
Speaker 1 (02:14):
Give her her flowers. She looked. I thought he meant
she was lit like she was drunk. Oh, No, I
think like she was high. Her performance was Yeah, that
was a damn pyre.
Speaker 5 (02:28):
You know, every time I text Ben Hamean and be like,
hey Ben, can you do this bet, I'm like, yeah, okay, okay,
b Bet what far?
Speaker 1 (02:41):
Yeah? Yeah, stuff. I wouldn't know what the said would
be like, huh what.
Speaker 6 (02:49):
I I'm like, got the risk.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
No, she was good. Food fighters were good. Kane Brown,
I saw him, he was so good.
Speaker 2 (02:59):
I missed most of the first night because I was
in the vowels of the Tea Mobile arena and I
can't see anything. I had no idea what was going on. Yeah,
I saw public Animey. That was night too, though, wasn't it.
Speaker 7 (03:10):
That was night.
Speaker 4 (03:10):
They were the first active night there. They went so
over their time. They just kept going and going with songs.
It was so awesome. Clock around he can't. Yeah, he
didn't know. I've never really paid attention.
Speaker 8 (03:26):
Is it?
Speaker 1 (03:26):
Is it on the right time zone? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (03:32):
But during the Foo Fighters before me, as I was
standing next to one of our executives and Dave Grol,
he probably dropped thirty f bombs. No, shortage of that,
and it wouldn't It wasn't even like he'd go in
the same sentence. He'd say it three or four times,
and like, I kind of know how our technology works.
And at some point we were running out of ways
to make it go away. And I look over and
(03:52):
I'm like, how many F bombs did we budget for
in this thing?
Speaker 1 (03:54):
And the person's like, I don't think enough.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
The whole things on the radio, and I think I
know they tell them, I just don't think they care.
By Lil Wayne was a little He wasn't concerned about
any of the FCC rules either. So all right, let's
see morality Monday this morning. Maybe I actually do it
on Monday for once. Blogs this hour, trending stories and
(04:18):
the Entertainment Report. What are you working on, kayln?
Speaker 6 (04:20):
We got to talk super Bowl, we got to talk trailer,
and we got to talk about how Doja is coming
for the Kardashians.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
Oh do something happened at the Bears game yesterday other
than the Bears getting killed.
Speaker 1 (04:31):
Somebody showed up. I heard about it. It's the Fresh Show.
This is what's trending? All right, guys, everyone's favorite part
of Monday. You already. Yeah, yes, Jason Brown.
Speaker 2 (04:43):
Then Sultan of Sports repording you you're not a recap
Week three of the NFL, and then we can go
back through and decide, how did he do this week review?
Speaker 1 (04:56):
Did you calculate it? Oh? Yeah, he didn't know. No,
he didn't know. It's at the bottom there. The sheet said. Okay,
oh god, oh boy.
Speaker 5 (05:05):
All right, you can make up for tonight with the
Knight So Dolphins Broncos.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
Dolphins won by a lot. That was the seventy point game.
That was crazy. I saw that. And who did you have?
I had the Bronco.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
Game, the Broncos of Boston. That's right exactly. The Buffalo
Bills beat the Washington Commanders, the Lions beat the Falcons.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
What do you guys? Two and one? Yeah, that's good.
Don't get too excited.
Speaker 4 (05:37):
The best locker room because they were showing like the
locker room clips after the game, and theirs was the
most lit they had, like blue lighting.
Speaker 1 (05:44):
I was like, damn, that's really fancy. I just mean,
this is what the Lions do to you, guys. Though
they give you hope and then they.
Speaker 6 (05:50):
I'm still I'm drinking the kol aid, are you? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (05:52):
No, I would like Dan Campbell to I can't imagine
what it would look like for Dan Campbell to coach
of the Lions. If you haven't seen this guy born
to be a football player and coach, I can't imagine
what he would do if they won the Super Bowl.
Speaker 6 (06:02):
He might combust, Oh my god, his heart with all
those espressos he drinks.
Speaker 2 (06:06):
Yeah, he drinks. Was a three venti Starbucks coffees. That's
what he walks into work with. Oh my god, all
of his drinks. Yeah, I could never sit down and
would be running in circles. Yeahah, okay, Chargers over the Vikings.
That's a bad Vikings are bad now. I don't have
any Patriots over the Jets, the Packers over the Saints,
(06:28):
and that shouldn't have been The Saint should have won
that game.
Speaker 1 (06:30):
They were up seventeen anhing.
Speaker 5 (06:32):
I didn't even watch. I just flipped it off. Derek
Carr got injured and then it was over.
Speaker 1 (06:36):
And then they lost.
Speaker 2 (06:37):
Colts over the Ravens, Browns over the Titans, Texans over
the Jaguars, Cardinals over the Cowboys. Sorry calling my brother
in law, Seahawks over the Panthers, Uh, Steelers over the
Raiders last night and tonight he had a double header
Eagles Tampa Bay and Rams Cincinnati. Of course, the Bears
(06:57):
lost too to the Eves. Thoughts on that the parslay
did not none of it were the Parslay.
Speaker 1 (07:05):
Yeah, where did you send this to me? The press sheet? No,
I sent it to your email. Where is it? I
need to find it here? Hold on, I kind of
like got a lot of emails this morning.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
Oh, here it is. Yeah, you were five and eight
on the on your on your picks for the week,
that five wins. Yes, but the PARSI Patrick Comebs was
fine as hell was Travis Kelce scored a touchdown and
Cairo Santos kicked five times.
Speaker 1 (07:27):
So have you've been on the parsleigh? Then you won?
Congratulations everybody.
Speaker 2 (07:31):
You have the Eagles and Rams tonight, In case anyone
was wondering, Yeah, any thoughts on the Bears game.
Speaker 1 (07:36):
It was sad. It was really sad.
Speaker 4 (07:38):
I mean it was it was sad for us, But honestly,
I was cheering for the Chiefs more. I mean I
was just there for Taylor obviously, so it didn't matter.
But I did some research over the weekend about if
football players wear cups. Turns out they don't anymore. They
wear jock straps. So you but the cup goes in
(07:58):
the jockstrap. Yeah, there's there's kind but they support built in. Yeah,
but they're not like cups anymore. Oh, not like that,
I got it.
Speaker 1 (08:05):
I think they just elevate a little bit to like
try to think footballs work cut, I baseball players work out.
Speaker 4 (08:12):
I brought it up in here and everyone was like,
they have to wear cops or else their junkle gets mashed.
Speaker 1 (08:15):
So I looked it up and they don't.
Speaker 2 (08:17):
I don't remember commenting on that because I wasn't the
football players, I wouldn't know.
Speaker 1 (08:20):
Yeah, but I basically they had protection of some sort.
They have some elevation.
Speaker 4 (08:24):
Yeah so baseball players, yeah, because yeah, you know, coming fast,
it looks like they do.
Speaker 1 (08:29):
Yeah, but football players not so much. So they're just
lifting it up. Like what's the point of that, maybe
to like, I don't know, get it out of the way.
I don't I don't know. We didn't have a football
team in my high school. Not surprised.
Speaker 5 (08:40):
Only two legs in football, you know, you can't use
your third leg help.
Speaker 6 (08:44):
To dad jokes for seven.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
Also that the Powerball jackpot is now seven hundred and
eighty five million dollars.
Speaker 2 (08:55):
No tickets match the winning numbers on Saturday, so yeah,
I won't even tell you what the odds are on
the ods are not great, but whatever, seven hundred and
eighty five million dollars tomorrow, right is an extra.
Speaker 5 (09:05):
On Tuesdays tonight, it's Saturday and Monday, Monday, Monday, Wednesday, Saturday.
Speaker 2 (09:11):
I'm very apathetic about it after I traveled hundreds of
miles to buy us tickets in rural America and we.
Speaker 1 (09:16):
Still didn't win. Let's see it again, let's go. Okay,
you can go this time? Is it because to open down?
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (09:21):
You can go find out, all right, We'll call somebody.
We'll call our friends at you know, yeah, their lie No,
I know that, I know Mary and Garmona.
Speaker 1 (09:30):
But I'm done. What's place on a contour? That's why,
That's why contour. Yeah, call the mayor down there. Yeah,
we'll do.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
Leaders in Hollywood studios have reached a tentative agreement on
Sunday to and the historic stream right stream screens for
stream am I still drunk. Screenwriters strike after nearly five months,
though no deal is in the works for the actors
who are striking. The Writers Guild of America announced to
deal with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers,
the group that represents studios, streaming services and producers in
(09:59):
the oociations. The three year contract agreement has to be
approved by the guilds board and members before the strike
officially ends. So yeah, but no actors. So we got writers.
We don't have actors though, so we're working on that.
A junior college junior becomes the first female non kicker
to play in a college football game. Her name is
(10:21):
Haley van VORs I. Hope, I said woras hope is
that she made NCAA history on Saturday by becoming the
first woman who isn't a kicker to appear in a
college football game. She plays safety for Shenandoah University Division
three and entered the game in the first quarter when
the team was up twenty six points. She's five six,
one hundred and forty five pounds registered or excuse me,
(10:42):
she did get a quarterback? Hurry, I guess in a
third down. She's played on the juniversity team the last
two seasons and is a sprinter on the college's track
and field team as well.
Speaker 1 (10:52):
So there you go.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
It's a little fun fact, little bonus, a little early,
extra early. Oh, my fun fact is going to come in.
My fun fact is you guys are gonna love it today.
Oh a mystery explained, Okay, stop it A female mystery explained.
Speaker 1 (11:07):
Yeah, yeah, you saw that. How can I skip over that?
Speaker 6 (11:10):
I thought of you? I was like, should I send
this to him?
Speaker 2 (11:12):
Yeah, no, it's a female mystery explained, But you'll have
to wait for that later. I actually thought it was
a different reason.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
Yeah, because you.
Speaker 6 (11:18):
I thought of you because you told me.
Speaker 2 (11:20):
I think that the reason still may be true, but
I don't know. But this is new anyway. I'm constantly
teaching the women in the room about themselves. So I
was talking to a woman this weekend about something related
to that, and she is like, how do you know
any of this? Like I've never met a guy that
knows any of this. And I'm like, well, look around
the room.
Speaker 1 (11:40):
How did that come up?
Speaker 9 (11:41):
Is that?
Speaker 6 (11:41):
I want to know?
Speaker 1 (11:42):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (11:42):
In Vegas, you're watching Kelly Clarkson and you're like.
Speaker 1 (11:45):
So periods yeah no no, no, no, no no, no, whoa no,
She sent me a picture of a like a some
kind of frozen snack that comes in a box. And
when I first looked at the box, it had the
color scheme of a tampon box. And I'm like, why
are you sending me this? Then I had to look
more carefully.
Speaker 2 (12:01):
Oh, I think she was more concerned that I thought
the size of the bar was. I'm like, no, that's
way too make up, Like no, not that a pink
and the blue together, just like like, why are you
sending me? And I had to look more carefully. I
may have been out of the influence, doesn't matter. And
Reno Nevada, you guys want to go to? Reno Nevada's
twenty miles north of Lake Tahoe, has been named the
happiest town to live in per Outside magazine. It's a
(12:26):
modern boom town. It lists boundless outdoor activities, a thriving
birding man, adjacent art scene, low taxes, and an abundance
of sunshine. So if you're looking for the happiest place
in America to live, it's Reno Nevada. I've been there.
I didn't feel that way, but you know, nothing wrong
with the place. I just didn't think, Wow, I am
(12:47):
so happy to be here right now. It's National Daughter's Day,
National Case of DA Day, National Family Day, National Lobster Day, Oh,
National Comic Book Day, and National One Hit Wonder Day nice,
which you know, we're super creative around here, but I
just thought One Hit Wonder Day, we should just come
up with all of our favorite one hit wonders and
play them because that's super creative, isn't it.
Speaker 1 (13:12):
We whiteboarded that.
Speaker 2 (13:13):
We worked it through the writer's room because they're back now,
well the whole time we worked here, but I'm told
they're coming back today. But I mean, you know, that's
why we make the big books writing, because we come
up with that kind of stuff.
Speaker 1 (13:25):
The entertainer of What is Next.
Speaker 10 (13:27):
Calin's Entertainer Report, he's on the Fred Show.
Speaker 6 (13:30):
I don't even know if I have to do this story,
because if you had eyes open or ears open yesterday,
you already know. But Taylor Swift was at the Cheeps
Bears game yesterday to see her rumored man, Travis Kelce.
There were rumors before the game that she was going
to be there, and I heard that she requested some
sort of like tinted window situation in the suite which
very much did not happen. I like also that they
(13:52):
put under her name in parentheses twelve time Grammy winner,
like I said, well.
Speaker 1 (13:57):
Of course, but like who's that? Wasn't familiar with her? Like,
who's that lady?
Speaker 6 (14:02):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (14:03):
It looks like I am.
Speaker 6 (14:04):
I don't know, just in case you didn't know who
she was. She got quite the show though he had
a good game. She was sitting there with his mama, Donna,
other people in this suite. She had chicken tenders with
ketchup and ranch. I didn't see what she was drinking,
but probably wine, right.
Speaker 1 (14:18):
I didn't see a drink.
Speaker 4 (14:19):
I just saw her plate with the chiss bump when.
Speaker 6 (14:24):
I did those fake boobies right out there.
Speaker 2 (14:28):
We were talking about this off the air, but they
showed the outside of the suite and it looked like
it looked like the president was there, full military brigade
outside of that thing, just to get her in and
out of there. Taylor, But what do we think? What
do we think really is going on here?
Speaker 1 (14:43):
She's just having fun.
Speaker 2 (14:44):
Do you think she's dating him for real? Or do
you think that it just seems like Jason and I
were talking about this last night. It seems like an
awful lot of a spectacle for a woman who tends
to keep things on the d L.
Speaker 6 (14:54):
Yeah, her last relationship wasn't on the deal. I think
she's just like done, Like I think she's living life now.
And she was in hiding for so long and that
was really because of Joe. That wasn't because she wanted
to be private. I mean it started out because everyone
was coming for her, but then Joe like hated the
famous situation.
Speaker 1 (15:09):
So when she was like with Calvin Harris, they were
out about like holding hands getting spotted. Yes, she's only
seen when she wants to be seen.
Speaker 4 (15:17):
That's how Taylor is, So she's very aware of like
what's going on.
Speaker 6 (15:20):
I mean she was also like black out at the
VMA's and like that could have gone really wrong in
the media. Usually they would have attacked her for that,
but like she just I don't think she cares. I
also don't think they're exclusive, like you know, yeah, they
left the game to get they did.
Speaker 1 (15:32):
And like a convertible.
Speaker 6 (15:33):
His outfit was called the nineteen eighty nine something May.
Speaker 1 (15:36):
Nine Suits something.
Speaker 6 (15:38):
Yeah, So I don't know.
Speaker 2 (15:39):
I contend she could have been there and there would
have been rumors she was there, but I think she
could have been there in a way that she wasn't
as easily spotted if she wanted to. Yeah, oh yeah,
not spotted, not a second row next.
Speaker 1 (15:49):
To his mom.
Speaker 8 (15:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (15:50):
I mean, if she is trolling, I just can't see
a world where she would like a need his help
to like troll, you know what I mean. And that's
his job, so I wouldn't be like I want to
do this for fake when I'm like at work trying
to focus on the game.
Speaker 1 (16:01):
Then what's role in all this?
Speaker 2 (16:02):
Is he like, yeah, yeah, you can tag along with
me and not sleep with me, but you know we
can talk.
Speaker 6 (16:08):
Like I can't see that happening either, really.
Speaker 3 (16:10):
So maybe I don't know that is baby girl? Please,
this is the one. This is what I want to
tell Maybe.
Speaker 2 (16:16):
Maybe after he could looking and he's talented and I
get oh, I get all of that, but it's just
such a departure from what we normally see her with.
Speaker 6 (16:24):
Maybe she needs it. I don't know.
Speaker 1 (16:25):
He seems like a really good person, which is like
he doesn't eat cigarettes and like cry.
Speaker 6 (16:30):
You know, I think that was only Maddie.
Speaker 1 (16:34):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (16:35):
I can see there being a lot more in touch
with their emotions that I think. Well, then again, I
don't know Travis Kelsey. I've seen the podcast before. We
talked about his nieces.
Speaker 3 (16:42):
And yeah, he's normal and she met his mom already,
Like I'm here.
Speaker 6 (16:46):
For all of this. Yeah, so I don't know. We'll
see what happens. I think my girl's just having fun.
I mean, I wouldn't marry them off just yet, but
we'll see. This was exciting. Usher will headline the twenty
twenty four Super Bowl halftime show. I'm excited. If you
were eleven in Vegas is gonna be lit as Ben
wouldn't say you made the announcement with some promo videos,
one of which he had some help from Kim Kardashian
(17:07):
for some reason.
Speaker 1 (17:10):
Hell yeah, I'm in a booth. I'm gonna call your back.
Wait can you talk? No, I just gotta put this
one part down.
Speaker 6 (17:14):
I'll call you. It's Kim.
Speaker 1 (17:16):
I'm at the studio. Man.
Speaker 11 (17:18):
I finally got the answer to those rumers.
Speaker 1 (17:20):
It's not about me, it's about you.
Speaker 12 (17:22):
You're doing the.
Speaker 1 (17:23):
Super Bowl, go play with me playing at the Apple
Music halftime show in Vegas. No, for real, don't.
Speaker 9 (17:29):
Play like that.
Speaker 11 (17:30):
I don't At one, you're doing the Super Bowl?
Speaker 1 (17:35):
Are you serious?
Speaker 11 (17:37):
Sure?
Speaker 6 (17:37):
Listen to me?
Speaker 13 (17:38):
How you know?
Speaker 12 (17:39):
I know everything.
Speaker 1 (17:40):
I've seen you in Vegas twice, but this one's got
to be different. This is weird.
Speaker 5 (17:44):
Well, it's off of his Confessions Part two music video.
Speaker 14 (17:47):
Every Day.
Speaker 1 (17:47):
He's not hating at all. They're just using the video
from way back. Why I should I send my ticket
request to I'm gonna call you back. We'll be in
ton I'm gonna call you back. It's actually pretty genius.
I didn't see anything. I mean, I knew about the
ANNASCEMACTSI I didn't se any because it was a plane.
I didn't it.
Speaker 6 (18:08):
It's okay, you just heard because three.
Speaker 5 (18:10):
Versions, one with Coach Prime and then one with Marshawn
Lynch and then one with Kim Kardashian.
Speaker 15 (18:15):
Uh huh, Yeah, Marshall can't him being him?
Speaker 12 (18:20):
Is?
Speaker 1 (18:20):
I gotta go watch that one? Yeah?
Speaker 6 (18:23):
I saw mixed reviews online, which is insane. People were
calling Usher irrelevant. I wanted to go and share them,
like I don't, like, you're just wrong. Yeah, Like that's
just he's a performer, has showing Vegas. He's on roller skates.
He's got strippers.
Speaker 1 (18:38):
Come on, people, get with the program.
Speaker 6 (18:40):
It's gonna be amazing really quick.
Speaker 1 (18:42):
Though.
Speaker 6 (18:42):
Speaking of the Kardashians, people were saying that Doja Cat
called them out in one of her songs. The song
is called w dash t Vagina, and she says, tell
me why oh shorty walking like she's got to stick
up her butt and pretty face plastic.
Speaker 1 (18:57):
It's giving Kardashian.
Speaker 6 (18:58):
I don't think that's shade. At least she's that they're
pretty and they I mean, the truth is the truth,
I guess, so. I don't really know why people were
making a bigger deal out of that than that was,
but she said they were pretty.
Speaker 1 (19:09):
More to check online.
Speaker 6 (19:09):
Today if you do want to see these usher videos
we have that.
Speaker 1 (19:13):
Do we have your interview up here with Miguel, let's
post that when we have pictures of oh yeah, I
try to tell you.
Speaker 3 (19:24):
For me, like who trussed you don't worry about because
it was definitely yeah, Ann.
Speaker 6 (19:41):
Had big break final.
Speaker 1 (19:43):
A lot of people walked to me, I haven't posted
a picture.
Speaker 9 (19:48):
I haven't.
Speaker 1 (19:48):
I haven't done that either. I haven't.
Speaker 2 (19:51):
None of that's happened. My great friend I spend entirely
too much money. When I go in there, I don't
know what she has some way of like making me
think I have to have it, yeah, like to be
cool or something.
Speaker 1 (20:02):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (20:03):
But anyway, someone walked up to me and goes, this
is actually a great outfit. That's what they said to me.
And I actually like, compared to what are you saying?
Like like, well, no, I just I'm surprised. And then
the person I just kept digging a deeper hole like no,
I just I wouldn't have expected to see you in
something like this, Like it just kept getting worse like it,
and I think they were trying to clean it up,
(20:25):
but it just kept getting worse. I'm like, oh, so
you don't think I have fashion? They're like, well, no,
it just this was a little bit I wouldn't have
expected it. I'm like, just stop talking. How dare he?
Ryan Seacrest wore a mock turtleneck and a double breasted suit,
you know, I mean, and it wasn't even a mock turtleneck.
It was like it almost it almost was like a
priest caller almost, which you know, I guess he can
he is a priest.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
I guess there were a lot of buttons on that Jack. Yeah, well, I.
Speaker 3 (20:48):
Think you were best stressed out of all the guy
And I'm not just saying it because you're my friend,
but all the guys that were there. I was looking
at the fashions. I think you were best stressed.
Speaker 2 (20:57):
Yeah, I would agree with that. Yeah, you were. And
I thought of Rufio in my mind before I went
on the stage. At the moment before I went on
the stage, I heard of Rufio giving me a pro tip.
Remember that morning. He gave me a pro tip, said
take stuff out of your pocket. You should have seen
my ass because I took everything that was in my
pockets and stuffed it so like it wouldn't look like
I had.
Speaker 1 (21:18):
I was like, takeing out.
Speaker 5 (21:22):
You wear some tight jeans. I could see the credit
card number. Sometimes we can't have that.
Speaker 2 (21:26):
So there were like passes and phones and like money
and just all in my back pockets. Because yeah, I
also saw you know, if you remember a few weeks ago,
Kiki was on the Big Breakfast Club Morning Show, the
Big hip Hop morning Show, and I did see Charlemagne
and Uh and uh DJ Envy and Charlamaine was distracted.
Speaker 1 (21:44):
But Envy, I said. The FD just said, hey, dude,
you can't have Kiki.
Speaker 6 (21:48):
Oh and he.
Speaker 1 (21:50):
Was like oh, and I'm like, no, but you can't.
I was kidding. It's funny, friend of no, but like,
don't do that again, okad, No I would. I didn't
say don't do that again, you did. But I did.
Speaker 2 (22:04):
Say don't do that again. I said you can rent
her anytime.
Speaker 1 (22:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (22:09):
I didn't say that either. I didn't say anything. I
didn't say it, No, I did. I did say to
him that he can't have you, okay, but god he
knows you have made it clear.
Speaker 6 (22:19):
Yikes.
Speaker 16 (22:22):
I saw them on my screen and I told my
fancy hoppy. The first thing I did was like, I
bet friend is in there, like.
Speaker 1 (22:26):
It's on site.
Speaker 2 (22:29):
I mean, I just I can go on and on
about how the iHeart Radio Music Festival and I know
that we're paid to say this, but it is it
is quite the spectacle, Jason, and you can agree. Backstage
at the iHeart Radio Music Festival is a is a
mystery world. Like it's it's this the combinations of people
(22:51):
that just the people that show up and that you
see like I just can't every year. I'm like, like
I walked into a room. The presenter like that we
would make us wait before we go on the stage.
And there's Brian Austin Green and Lance Bass talking it up,
and I'm just like, well, there's my childhood right there,
like nine two and oh in sync and they're just
chatting up Like no, I'm just like where am I?
Speaker 4 (23:12):
You and I were together on Friday when Lenny Kravitz
walked okay, we both almost passed.
Speaker 1 (23:18):
We're standing like next to crates and stuff or whatever,
and Jason handed me the sheet with the things I
had to say on the stage, so I'm not paying attention.
I'm looking down. I'm reading this thing.
Speaker 2 (23:29):
All of a sudden, I look up and this front
and center walking right by me is Lenny Kravis.
Speaker 1 (23:34):
The man glows, he.
Speaker 6 (23:36):
Glows, heels like he always isn't that big ass scarf.
Speaker 2 (23:39):
I didn't look at his feet because he was wearing sunglasses.
Speaker 1 (23:42):
He had a scarf. There may have been some chest.
It's like, what's the scar for of your whole.
Speaker 2 (23:48):
There may be, but I just was so unexcused. I
just wasn't expecting to see that. In that moment, I
look up, I see him. He's glowing and he goes,
I hope you have a nice evening, and I was like,
I intend to now, but I'm very rarely like take
a step like Jason, I standing next to each other
and I actually like took a step back.
Speaker 1 (24:08):
I hit the wall. Yeah, like grabits.
Speaker 2 (24:11):
I hate to say that, I'm like semi over sensitized,
you know, but we've done a lot of these sorts
of things, and we've had the honor of, you know,
seeing a lot of different folks in that in that way,
and I guess I just don't it's very rare anymore
than I'm like and Lenny Kravitz made me go a
tiny little man.
Speaker 6 (24:28):
Yeah, Tom was there from scandalmal I was texting you
find him.
Speaker 1 (24:34):
I think I would have. So I missed. I missed
a panga by like five minutes. To me, She's like,
how do I find the lounge? I was like, not
me helping. It's a good free DK. Jason.
Speaker 2 (24:50):
I thought we were friends because the first thing you
should have done is text me and I know, just the.
Speaker 1 (24:53):
Guy who.
Speaker 2 (24:56):
Drink he's wearing like his mom's bath mat. And then
I'm working a right now and he'll fix it. What
else did I say? Oh, Timmograw. Timmo Graw has a
similar sensibility of like star power an angel of nice guy. Yeah,
I know, you just just the stuff that you see
at these things, like it's just it's it's vegua. It's
(25:19):
combined with with the obvious, you know, the stars that
were on the bill, but then the people that come
to see the stars, and then the presenter is it's
just a wild world. And it used to be wilder
before COVID because it was real. It was real outlaw
before COVID, because about anybody who'd ever done anything to
get a backstage pass before that, and so then you'd
(25:40):
see just about anybody like I mean, I I don't
remember one year, I'm like, I'm trying to remember who
I start talking, It was like.
Speaker 1 (25:48):
I can't remember. I'm just figuring, what are you doing here?
I don't know? And why am I? Why am I
in the same place as you? I got that? Do
you see ChIL from I did see that.
Speaker 5 (26:00):
Hey, I don't know the trauma because what's the McCall
was there too, right, his uh show work was at
the festival too, and now she's with Matthew Laurence.
Speaker 1 (26:13):
Flavor Flame.
Speaker 2 (26:13):
He was exactly what you'd expect Flavor Flavor to be
in personal bracelets.
Speaker 1 (26:18):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, he was at the show in Detroit.
Speaker 4 (26:22):
Yeah, him and Dave Growler like friends, really like they
were were. But it's so amazing is the room that
I'm at. I realized if you open a door, it's
the back hallway to the dressing room, so you see
all these interactions.
Speaker 1 (26:34):
Him and Dave girl were hanging out.
Speaker 4 (26:35):
And then I was packing up Friday night and Tim
McGraw and Cheryl Crow are just dueting in the hallway.
Speaker 1 (26:39):
I'm like, my life will never get better. What got
going on? Like what is happening?
Speaker 11 (26:44):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (26:45):
Show Crow is the one I wish I'd gotten closer
to because she's hot. I would allow her to husband
me up, to boom me up. Yes on that one.
But it was a lot of fun. And can you
still watch it on I'm sure you're still watch it.
(27:05):
You can watch on Hulu. And yeah, thanks for all
the people wondering if I gave the safety announcement because
I was upgraded.
Speaker 1 (27:11):
Just like, what did you do? What did you do?
On stage? I introduced Agnes Mo. Okay, yeah, so I
got to do that. They told me it was on Hulu.
I think they allied to me, but it's fine. And
then you interviewed.
Speaker 2 (27:25):
Then I interviewed Miguel, and then I was supposed to interview.
Speaker 1 (27:29):
Who was I supposed to Car, but Car was that
it didn't happen, and there's like a nice guy. I
was kind of it. That was sort of it.
Speaker 2 (27:39):
And then the next night it was mostly rock, so
they had like rock people doing rock things. So I
just went and watched food Fighters. In the night I went,
I left.
Speaker 1 (27:48):
Did you go to Night Night or did you go?
What else?
Speaker 3 (27:50):
Did you go to? That party?
Speaker 7 (27:52):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (27:54):
I know, the Eyes White Chet party was a little
bit different. The late late late late late night Hotel
Sweet party was a little bit different. This Sae I
didn't go. I didn't go, but no, I had the
five was it six am flight out of Vegas yesterday.
So I decided to behave myself on night number two,
the afternoon of night number two because they told me
like basically, you don't have to do anything tonight. So
(28:14):
there was bottomless mimosas at this one place and I
found the bottom.
Speaker 1 (28:18):
Nice.
Speaker 2 (28:18):
Yeah, I found the bottom. It's about thirty and they
stopped coming over. Yeah, I did.
Speaker 1 (28:27):
Anyway, it was a great weekend.
Speaker 2 (28:28):
And gambling, No, you were good on the I did gamble,
I lost that I won and then I was even
so I left got it?
Speaker 9 (28:36):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (28:36):
Yeah, So there that was. That was the weekend.
Speaker 2 (28:38):
And I thank you for all of you who were
concerned about the safety announcement and everything else. Hopefully no
one fainted from pyrotechnics because there's no one. I wasn't
there to tell them to look out for them. Blogs
are next.
Speaker 1 (28:50):
Yeah, they talk better than they excited.
Speaker 10 (28:53):
Tell me, these are the radio blogs on the Fred Show.
Speaker 2 (28:56):
Okay, looks like running in our diaries, except we say
them aloud. We call them blogs. You got one, Yes,
you're ready.
Speaker 16 (29:03):
I'm so ready to take it away. Thank you so much,
dear blog. Speaking of Vegas, I'm.
Speaker 6 (29:08):
Ready to run it back.
Speaker 1 (29:10):
Yeah run yeah, for the first time.
Speaker 6 (29:14):
That the first time some of us are going back.
Speaker 16 (29:16):
So the wedding, the wedding of the year, just kidding,
the wedding of the month of October is going to
be in less than two weeks. But you see, guys,
now I got more questions.
Speaker 1 (29:26):
And more things.
Speaker 6 (29:30):
It says nothing to do with the itinerary.
Speaker 16 (29:31):
It's just TikTok has me in a choke hold all
the time, and this time apparently it's about gift giving.
Speaker 6 (29:39):
So I know, Rupil.
Speaker 16 (29:40):
You asked me before too, like are you going to
give your fiance Hoppy a gift?
Speaker 17 (29:43):
Right?
Speaker 16 (29:43):
You did ask me something that we talked about gifts
or something, or maybe I asked.
Speaker 1 (29:46):
You no, I asked if you couldn't get him a ring? Well,
for got his ring, which was a surprise to you
up until about a week ago, that you had to
get him a ring.
Speaker 16 (29:55):
Yes for a wedding, tores Omar Jewelers, Yes, I got
the ring.
Speaker 6 (29:58):
It is happening.
Speaker 16 (29:59):
But now apparently you're supposed to get each other a
gift and it.
Speaker 6 (30:02):
Gets better, it gets better or worse.
Speaker 3 (30:04):
I guess. I don't know.
Speaker 16 (30:05):
You got to get your parents a gift and my
parents and his.
Speaker 1 (30:09):
Parents, that's too much.
Speaker 2 (30:11):
I had to It's exactly because they're paying, is don't
you buy them a gift of appreciation for them paying
for the wedding? And if they're not paying for the wedding,
do you still have to buy them a gift?
Speaker 6 (30:19):
Well, they're not paying so oh.
Speaker 2 (30:21):
Because I think my I think my sister bought my
mom a very nice gift of painting. Actually this made okay,
But my mom paid for the wedding, so I think
that was.
Speaker 3 (30:32):
Why is that why you did that gift?
Speaker 1 (30:34):
Thought it was. But maybe I'm wrong about that. Maybe
maybe it's tradition.
Speaker 6 (30:38):
See I don't know. I never heard that you paid or.
Speaker 5 (30:40):
We paid, Like every everyone paid for their own gifts,
so there was we weren't giving it. But my dad
I didn't give a gift to Jess either. My sister
a gift. He gave her a necklace with a cactus
on it. Your dad, like as a reminder of you know,
like her roots or whatever.
Speaker 6 (30:53):
I love that. Yeah, okay, I don't see. Now I'm
all like puzzled.
Speaker 16 (30:56):
I'm like, who's getting a gift and who's supposed to
be receiving one?
Speaker 3 (30:59):
I don't know.
Speaker 16 (30:59):
Like I got my bridesmaids their gifts. I gotta give
them their gift bags and everything. But other than that,
I'm like, who else needs to damn gift? I'm so
tired of give giving. I don't know if anyone has advice,
who knows what to do, let me know, because I'm
getting a little whole stress now because I don't want
to like come off rude or like not look appreciative, you.
Speaker 1 (31:17):
Know what I mean.
Speaker 16 (31:17):
But I also don't know, like why my mom would
get a gift or his parents.
Speaker 2 (31:21):
So many like quote unquote rules of etiquette for weddings,
and I don't know which ones anyone follows anymore.
Speaker 1 (31:26):
I really don't. I gave up.
Speaker 6 (31:27):
That's why we're going to Vegas.
Speaker 5 (31:27):
I'll think you I mean, if you're paying for your
own wedding, I don't think you need to get them gifts.
You just definitely need to definitely thank them a lot
in your in your thank you speech or reception or whatever.
Speaker 1 (31:38):
You know, I'm saying, okay, or how els do it?
In this case, He'll handle it, Yeah, Elvis, you got me.
Speaker 12 (31:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (31:44):
I feel like having a wedding, and I've obviously never
had one, but I feel like having a wedding is
like buying a house in that the first like I
don't know, six months of owning a house at least,
it's like money out for this money, money, money, It
just it all goes out like it's just oh, you know,
a couple of hundred for this, couple hundred for that,
thousand for this, like just to get everything a lot,
you know what I mean. It's just I feel like
it never ends the way that you describe it.
Speaker 16 (32:05):
Oh yeah, all the invoices are coming into that's been
really fun.
Speaker 6 (32:08):
Yeah, everything's getting paid.
Speaker 1 (32:10):
Baby.
Speaker 2 (32:11):
So I have another Vegas story. This one's pretty good actually,
but dear blog. So I'm in Vegas with I heard
Radio Music Festival and I guess it was Friday afternoon.
I was trying to get Jason to come drink Margarita's
of me and Hobby Hears at the at Aria. So
I'm sitting there drinking margheritas, loosening it up a little
bit for my big night, because you know, I get
a little nervous. Get a little nervous, and that's my
(32:33):
beta blocker is tequila and some sitting drinking. And these
two people, good looking couple. Maybe I don't know. I'm
guessing late forties, early fifties. Sit down next to me
and a woman starts talking me up. You know, hey,
what do you what are you doing here?
Speaker 8 (32:48):
Like?
Speaker 2 (32:49):
I worked fryhard, you know, the festival things. She's like, Oh,
I listened to I used the y app. I listened to
a show in La the Woody show for friends of ours.
I'm like, oh cool, yeah, and she's like volunteering. She says, well,
you know the guy, this guy and I we uh
we were friends twenty eight years ago, we got married
and had kids, and now we're divorced and we're screwing.
Speaker 1 (33:09):
Wait what for the.
Speaker 2 (33:10):
Last three months, We've just we've been we've been, you know,
having a you know, physical relationship, and the guy's just
sitting there and texting.
Speaker 1 (33:16):
Nice guy.
Speaker 2 (33:17):
But he's just like, oh, well, that's that's wonderful for you.
I'm like, I don't know what to say to this,
like that's that's great, And she said something to the
effect of, like I think I said to her, I go,
after thirty years of knowing this guy and you just
now are getting it on, do you have any regrets
that you didn't get with him thirty years ago? Like
is it like, you know, is it? Is it really
(33:37):
really good? And you're like, man, I should have done
this thirty years ago. She's like, no, but I'm glad
we're together now. And he looks over and goes, You're
not the only woman I'm seeing it. What whoa She's like, what,
you're sleeping with other women?
Speaker 1 (33:48):
And he goes, yeah, just text.
Speaker 2 (33:54):
She just looked at me and this was not a
bit like She's like, oh, well that's good information and
to know. And I'm like, okay, anyway, so all right,
you know. And then I'm like, let me get you
guys tickets to the show to now you guys should
come to the show because they.
Speaker 1 (34:07):
Listen to the app or whatever. She let me get
can I get three?
Speaker 2 (34:12):
And then he just keeps texting or whatever, and I'm like,
super nice people, and I'm like he's not really paying attention.
I'm like, hey, I'm not getting your girl's number, like,
I'm just getting making sure you guys get tickets say
he goes, whatever, you can have it right in front
of her, and she's just smiling and laughing. And then the
next morning she texted me, Hey, thanks for the tickets.
I just got untied in time to text you.
Speaker 1 (34:34):
Whoa what by the dude?
Speaker 3 (34:37):
Vegas is a while I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (34:41):
It, like, oh my, hey, this stuff doesn't happen in Reno.
It doesn't happen in Toledo. I think she's trying to
invite you, Fred.
Speaker 5 (34:48):
I think she's trying to invite you to join I
was busy.
Speaker 1 (34:52):
Fred's show next is on Good Morning everybody. It's Monday, Monday.
Speaker 2 (35:05):
Can you tell the duncan just kicked him out of
the student fed or both? Maybe it's a hell of
a hive.
Speaker 1 (35:12):
Let me tell you.
Speaker 2 (35:14):
Hello there kaelin Good morning, Jason Brown, Hi rufio, Hello, Hi, Hi,
Hi Kiking.
Speaker 1 (35:21):
Let's see waiting by the phone.
Speaker 12 (35:22):
He's new.
Speaker 2 (35:22):
Why did somebody get ghosted? We'll do it next. Geography
with Jason Mondays are a big day for you, it
really is. I'm busy geography running at the iHeart Radio
Music Festival, which you ran the damn thing.
Speaker 5 (35:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (35:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (35:37):
I'm always afraid to disappoint Jason because he's Jason. Not
only is he, you know, the rule follower, but he also,
as you should, you take your responsibilities at the national
level very seriously. And I'm always afraid that when I
do something point in general, you know, here, if I
if I upset him, I just get scolded by him personally.
(35:58):
But I can't make him look bad in Vegas. You know,
it's like we did the thing with mcgallan. I'm like, man,
I'll bouncecrew this up.
Speaker 18 (36:03):
You killed it.
Speaker 4 (36:04):
You were on time, you were early. You were like
the only one that was early. They didn't have to
look for you. You killed your interview with Migual, who's
super sweet.
Speaker 1 (36:13):
You did that in stressed in and out. That's what
I'm saying. I just gotta make him look good. I
got to take care of him. You did.
Speaker 2 (36:19):
You did a great job, you know, because next step
somebody will come in and, you know, throw coffee.
Speaker 1 (36:24):
On you or something.
Speaker 2 (36:25):
I don't know who knows. The stars so many stars.
You just never know. You never know how people are
going to act for people in their best behavior. Did
you hear of any any You don't have to say whom,
but was everyone behaved?
Speaker 19 (36:35):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (36:35):
Everyone seemed chow he was. That was a high pitch.
Speaker 5 (36:38):
Yeah yeah, Heed, he just liked directly.
Speaker 1 (36:46):
His voice went up real high. Everyone was great.
Speaker 2 (36:50):
Marriage to our friend Maris here from Iron Chicago. He
was my handler.
Speaker 1 (36:55):
Nice. Yeah, it's the first time there. Right. You didn't
have to handle much though, because I was.
Speaker 6 (37:00):
You're easy to rank.
Speaker 4 (37:02):
I told Marison, like, don't worry about I got I'm
right here now exactly.
Speaker 1 (37:08):
You know.
Speaker 2 (37:08):
I trust me. I don't want to disappoint Daddy Jason.
He makes me call him Daddy Jason Vegas. It's weird Vegas. Yeah,
really strange, but I do it for whatever reason I do.
All right, let's see what else we got today. Shelvin
Shelley two hundred bucks is the price two game win streak?
What's coming up in the fort?
Speaker 1 (37:23):
Kaylen sad tragedy for the Chrisly family.
Speaker 6 (37:26):
Also, Kelly Clarkson did something really cool with a street performer.
Speaker 1 (37:30):
When she was in Vegas. I'll tell you what happened.
Speaker 2 (37:31):
Of course it was cool. Jesus, everything she does is cool.
I can't believe you were somehow like in charge of her,
dressing her or something. You didn't enagle that new Waiting
after a living in two minutes?
Speaker 1 (37:44):
Ever been left waiting by the phone. It's the Fred Show. Hey, Kat,
welcome to the show. How are you hi? Guys, I'm good,
Thanks for having me. You know what we love it.
Speaker 2 (37:55):
It's waiting by the phone, trying to help you out,
trying to figure out if maybe you've been going by
this guy Steve.
Speaker 1 (38:01):
How did you meet Steve?
Speaker 2 (38:02):
Tell us about your dates that you've been on and
what's happening right now with the communication.
Speaker 11 (38:07):
Sure, so it's pretty typical.
Speaker 13 (38:10):
We met on an app I met Hi mom bumble.
We started talking a bit, you know, he asked for my number.
We texted for a while, and then we went.
Speaker 9 (38:22):
To dinner and yeah, you was a gentleman.
Speaker 1 (38:26):
He picked me up.
Speaker 8 (38:30):
Yeah, we had fun and he said we'd you know,
he'd hit me off afterwards, you know, after the date,
and then I never heard from him again.
Speaker 2 (38:41):
Huh okay, all right, Yeah, and you look back on
this date. You know, I always ask this question, but
you look back on this date and you're like, hey,
everything went well. Because you know, sometimes at least if
I go out with someone and then the response afterwards
is not that great or a little bit distant, I
start to think, like, what did I well, what could
I have done? You didn't do anything?
Speaker 12 (38:58):
No, yeah, I.
Speaker 8 (38:59):
Definitely was trying to think back.
Speaker 13 (39:00):
I did I put my phone in my mouth at anytime?
Speaker 12 (39:03):
You know, did I?
Speaker 1 (39:04):
But but it was pretty normal.
Speaker 8 (39:07):
I thought it was not my best behavior, and I
thought it was good.
Speaker 2 (39:12):
Yeah, okay, all right, Well let's call Steve here in
just a second, and we'll see if we can get
him on the phone. You'll be on the phone as well,
and we'll ask some questions on your behalf. And you know,
the hope here is that we can straighten things out
and then set you guys up on another date that
we paid for.
Speaker 1 (39:25):
Sound good, Yeah, that'd be great.
Speaker 2 (39:28):
Let's find out what's going on next after Miley Cyrus,
Part two of waiting by the phone on the Friend Show,
Stay here, Molly, it's a freend show. Good morning, thanks
so much for waking up with us. Almost an hour
of commercial free fread show happening right now. Hey, Kat, Hi,
all right, let's call Steve. You guys, you went on
a date, you thought it went great. You expected to
hear from him again, but you haven't no response whatsoever.
(39:49):
So you feel like you're being ghosted, as one would,
and you want to know why. Yeah, okay, all right,
well let's call him now. Good luck, Kat, Thank you.
Speaker 1 (40:03):
Hi?
Speaker 2 (40:04):
Is this Steve? Yeah, hey Steve, good morning. My name
is Fred. I'm calling from the Fred Show, the Morning
radio show, and I have to tell you that we
are on the radio right now, and I would need
your permission to continue with the calls and okay if
we chat for a second.
Speaker 1 (40:17):
Okay, well, thank you very much.
Speaker 2 (40:20):
I'm gonna say that as a yes, we're calling on
the half of a woman named who I guess you
went out with. Do you remember Kat?
Speaker 20 (40:27):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (40:28):
Yeah, I remember Kat?
Speaker 2 (40:29):
Okay, Well, she said that she had a great time
on the date and was hoping to see you again,
but that you haven't responded to her, reached out to
her at all.
Speaker 1 (40:35):
Since the date. So what's going on? Are you ghosting?
Speaker 12 (40:38):
My manh yeah, I'm ghosting.
Speaker 1 (40:40):
And okay, what did she tell you?
Speaker 2 (40:44):
She just said that you guys had a great date
in her estimation, and and then she was hoping to
see you again, but you're not reaching out. So what's
your version of events? Because I even asked her if
anything weird ha, but she said no.
Speaker 12 (40:55):
Okay, Well, I mean, I mean I could say that, uh,
in theory, she could be a nice person, but I've
never seen anything like this. She on her date. When
I picked her up, she I found out like after
trying to start conversations, she had her Apple AirPods in right.
Speaker 1 (41:16):
During the day when I picked her up, right.
Speaker 12 (41:19):
And so you know, I'm trying to talk to her
and stuff, and then turns out she's just trying to
finish like a murder podcast that she's listening to, which
which okay, and so I thought I was like a oh, okay,
and then it was like, oh no, I guess she's
just going to kind of keep listening to it while
we're talking.
Speaker 1 (41:36):
So I'm not you know, yeah, so I'm just trying.
Speaker 12 (41:41):
Yeah, So I'm like, all right, well, I guess I'll
just take you to the restaurant. Then, you know, I'm trying.
Speaker 1 (41:47):
To be polite when we get there. They're not even
immediately out.
Speaker 12 (41:50):
It wentn' until like the like the waitress came up
to us that she took them out to uh, you
know order.
Speaker 1 (41:55):
So I'm just trying to like, okay, now can we
be people? I guess, so hold on and pick her up.
Speaker 2 (42:02):
And she's listening to this thing the entire drive to
the restaurant and then all the way into the restaurant.
And then even when you sit down, does she have
both in or one in? I mean, what what is
going on?
Speaker 12 (42:12):
She only had one in, but I mean it's just
listening to something like the video game was on pause.
Speaker 1 (42:17):
You know.
Speaker 12 (42:18):
I'm like, all right, well, let me know when you're
you know, ready to start.
Speaker 2 (42:21):
Right, because you can't really have a conversation and listen
at the same time. Okay, so she's listening to a
murder podcast up until the time the waitress comes.
Speaker 1 (42:28):
Then what.
Speaker 12 (42:30):
Okay, So then we're trying to become people again and
we start to chat. But even during the even during that,
she would use the restroom and she would take extra
long in the restroom. I don't know, this is a conjecture.
I think she might have even been trying to like
pick it up when she was like, you know, take
a step out.
Speaker 2 (42:48):
So she either has IBS or she was taking breaks
to go listen to more murder podcast.
Speaker 1 (42:54):
That's man, that's my theory.
Speaker 12 (42:56):
Because as soon as we're done eating and everything, and basically,
you know, I.
Speaker 1 (43:02):
Had to get up early.
Speaker 12 (43:03):
I wish we could have actually hung out, hung out longer,
but yeah, I had to get up early so I
can take you home. And she's like sure, and then
she just slips the earbuts back in on the drive home.
Oh my god, I'm just like, so, I'm just like
a transport carrier, you know, just delivering cargo. I guess
you know, I'm just giving someone a ride.
Speaker 2 (43:22):
We love a binging queen over here, but like, how
rude cat? What, I'm sorry, I've got to mention the
cats on the phone. I'm surprised you were able to
stop listening to some kind of podcast long enough to
even talk to us.
Speaker 1 (43:34):
Did you really do this? I only have one in,
just one, and I took him off.
Speaker 6 (43:41):
You know, when the date like started.
Speaker 5 (43:43):
At the restaurant, they started at the house when he
picked you up.
Speaker 6 (43:47):
I know, but you guys know what it's like when
you're like alloud to finish a book or a podcast
or a show. You know, I was like super hooked.
Speaker 1 (43:54):
You can't wait two hours.
Speaker 2 (43:56):
You can't wait two hours to meet a guy who
came to pick you up and wants to take.
Speaker 1 (43:59):
You to dinner.
Speaker 6 (44:00):
I know, I thought it was almost done.
Speaker 13 (44:02):
I thought I only had like fifteen minutes left, and
I was going to talk about it with my friends
the next day.
Speaker 6 (44:08):
I was so close to find out who the killer was.
Speaker 15 (44:11):
Yeah, it's date because yeah, murder you. Yeah that's aggressive,
But well that's took a twist the real life we
got going.
Speaker 2 (44:23):
I mean, I guess we've all been there, but I
guess either cancel the date if you're I mean, that's
rude in itself, but at least don't, or I don't know,
maybe get in the get in the car and say, dude,
I'm about to get to the end of this thing.
Maybe you explain to the guy the context and then
put it on the blue teeth.
Speaker 1 (44:38):
You guys listen together, anything else.
Speaker 2 (44:41):
If I picked somebody she puts headphones in, I mean,
I don't even know what I'm doing there except I'm
a glorified uber driver.
Speaker 6 (44:49):
At that point, I only had the one in. We
we did interject a little.
Speaker 11 (44:54):
Bit back, of course.
Speaker 1 (44:55):
And then you want to know why this guy's not
calling you? Oh my god. Look, I'm sure have asked
him if he was into the podcast. I know, well,
that would have been a start. Yeah, I think.
Speaker 2 (45:08):
And then and then the dates over and you just okay,
I'll put the headphones back in, and what And you
want to know why this guy's not calling you? Steve,
if she were to do like a like a air
bugs free date, would you consider it?
Speaker 1 (45:21):
Oh?
Speaker 12 (45:21):
Man, No, I think I think you guys get it. Hey,
you know I didn't want to make this a thing,
but uh no, no, thank you. Yeah, I'm a very
personal guy.
Speaker 2 (45:32):
I gave you a chance to tell us everything. And
they never do. They never do. That's very rude.
Speaker 13 (45:37):
Kat, Yeah, I'm pretty embarrassed.
Speaker 9 (45:39):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 2 (45:40):
At least you could acknowledge that, but after six minutes
of talking about it, because it sounded like you were
writing for it here for a little while. But no,
all right, look, Steve, thank you for your time. I
wish you the best. Cat, I wish you the best
as well.
Speaker 13 (45:53):
All right, I learned my lesson.
Speaker 14 (45:54):
Thanks guys.
Speaker 2 (45:55):
The Entertainment Report, Kaitlyn has that next geography with Jason
show by Shelley with you hundred bucks all next commercial
Free Fread shows.
Speaker 10 (46:02):
Up Cawin's Entertainer Report. He's on the Fread Show.
Speaker 6 (46:06):
Former hockey player Nick Kritiles and former fiance to chrisly
nosbus star Savannah Chris Lee died early Saturday morning in
a motorcycle crash.
Speaker 1 (46:14):
The Nashville Police Department.
Speaker 6 (46:16):
Said that he passed after he struck the driver's side
of an SUV. There were no signs of impairment from
either driver. But Nick was drafted to the NHL in
twenty twelve by the Anaheim Ducks, and after hockey got
into real estate, his proposal to Savannah and really their
entire relationship was captured on at chrisly nosbus if you
did watch the show that was.
Speaker 1 (46:36):
Like four years ago.
Speaker 6 (46:37):
I think he proposed they never got married and announced
that they split back in twenty twenty, but they remained cool.
Savannah wrote on Social Heaven gain the most beautiful angel today.
I miss you and I love you. I'll forever save
our last messages of I love you. Please send me
a sign that you're okay. So, which is very very sad.
She's going through a lot right now, I mean with
her parents in jail and then now this, So that's
(46:58):
that's pretty crazy. Kelly Clarkson was in Vegas for our
iHeartRadio Music Festival over the weekend. She crushed it and
she got or she caught the attention excuse me of
a street performer who had no idea it was her.
So she wrote, I was on my way to soundtrack
for the iHeartRadio Music Festival tonight in Vegas and was
tipping this incredible woman killing some Tina Turner and then
(47:19):
she asked me to.
Speaker 1 (47:20):
Sing and had no clue who I was, and then
it hit her and it made my day.
Speaker 6 (47:24):
She gives the best hugs and sings her tail off,
and there is video of this woman like listening to
her realizing it was Kelly and being like, oh my god,
are you Kelly Clarkson. And Kelly was like, I don't
want to be a tool about it, but like, yeah
I am. The woman's like, are you efin kidding me?
So it was a really cool moment. I just love
that she was just walking to soundtrack, heard a pretty
voice and was going to tip her and just keep
(47:44):
it moving, but the woman, you know, didn't realize.
Speaker 2 (47:47):
Very so cute, I know, it's very sweet. I feel
like CA would do that all the time. I probably wouldn't,
but if I were famous, and I a famous performer
and I was in a bar like there was karaoke,
I feel I had a hat on or something. I
feel like I would just every now and again just
go sing my own song and people would be like, damn,
that guy's right, just like it, you know what I mean.
I probably wouldn't actually do that, but it would be fun.
(48:09):
It's fun to think about.
Speaker 6 (48:10):
God who told us, Oh, Ashton Coucher and Mila Kunis
were at a house party and I guess Bieber was
doing karaoke a while ago and they didn't realize that
he was famous and said like, you're really good man, like,
you should pursue.
Speaker 1 (48:21):
This, and then they realized make it right, right, you
should pursue that, you'd be good.
Speaker 6 (48:26):
Pete Davidson is now dating Outer Bank star Madeline Kleine,
who I'm obsessed with.
Speaker 1 (48:30):
They were spotted at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
Speaker 6 (48:33):
They had breakfast together the next morning, so I think
they're doing it.
Speaker 1 (48:35):
Safe to say. Pete recently called it.
Speaker 6 (48:37):
Quits with Chase Sweet Wonders and Madeline was dating her
OBX co star Chase Stokes, who is now dating Kelsey Vallery.
Speaker 1 (48:45):
So we're all hot and just swapping and being hot
and making out. Did anyone see this?
Speaker 6 (48:49):
Vince Vaughn was on college Game Day on Saturday? Anyone?
Speaker 1 (48:53):
But I didn't watch it.
Speaker 6 (48:54):
Yeah, RFU, you would have loved it because you're a
movie nerd. But it was at Notre Dame they got
ready to face off against Ohio State. He was rocking
the Notre Dame jacket, which was a nod to the
movie Rudy, which was starting in nineteen ninety three.
Speaker 1 (49:06):
Yeah, knch Von was in Rudy.
Speaker 5 (49:08):
He was the one that got he was he was
the one that called that play at the end of
the game. He was the one that got benched and
he got called out. He was like a third stringer.
Speaker 1 (49:14):
I need to go watch them. Oh yeah he was
in there, SKINI Vince Vaughn. Yeah yeah, bro Vince von
never noticed that. Yeah, yeah, he was in it.
Speaker 6 (49:22):
And so when he made his pick, he said, the
Buckeyes are for real always you can never doubt them.
That being said, I played for Notre Dame. I threw
a pass. If I had half the heart of Rudy,
I would have been All American instead of picking games
up here with you guys. He also dropped a line
from Wedding Crushers, So he was just being Vince Vaughan.
Speaker 1 (49:37):
He seems like such a cool guy. But yeah, so
that was his pick. And speaking of college football, I'm
still in the Colorado bandwagon. I'm not getting off. They lost, right,
they got torched by organ. It wasn't good. It was
real bad actually, but you know what, I'm still in
the bandwagon. I still like that. Did you want to
see the organ duct? Mascot l.
Speaker 5 (49:56):
Out He came out addresses coach Prime the glasses that, Yeah,
come out with this wagon.
Speaker 1 (50:00):
They handling of a cardboard box out there that was
a clock.
Speaker 5 (50:02):
That's his prime time, right, and so he takes out
his baseball bat it starts hitting the clock on a cardboard.
Speaker 1 (50:08):
His head falls off and he's like board box, don't
go after coach Pride.
Speaker 12 (50:18):
No.
Speaker 2 (50:19):
I am one hundred million percent on the bandwagon and
I want them to do well.
Speaker 1 (50:22):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (50:22):
I thought he came in hot, and then I got
into it, and I'm still into it.
Speaker 1 (50:25):
It's a game this weekend, though, if.
Speaker 2 (50:27):
They could just win one of these big games, because
they were't supposed to be getting good anyway.
Speaker 19 (50:31):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (50:32):
I just I like it. I like the spectacle, and
I like the spectacle.
Speaker 2 (50:35):
I like the swag. I mean, it would have been
nice if they could have competed this weekend. But you
know whatever, I'm still into it.
Speaker 1 (50:40):
Go buffs your merch coming yet? I know you get
my Buff's merch came in. Don't don't worry about it. Yeah,
I'll be rocking it this week. I'm a big Buffaloes guy.
Speaker 5 (50:48):
Don't really get those glasses, did you get I didn't
get the glasses.
Speaker 2 (50:51):
No, but I should get the glasses. I should get
the prime glasses and start wearing them at work. You'll
be able to see yourselves in them, so you'll love it.
He fix your hair.
Speaker 1 (51:02):
I love that you do that for us. I would do.
Speaker 6 (51:05):
We're checking on line today if you do want to
see the sweet video of Kelly. I think we have
that up there. It's on Fridshire Radio.
Speaker 1 (51:09):
Doctor forgot about this? Could you forget about geography with Jason.
Speaker 16 (51:21):
Into school and can't tell you where countries are I'm
located and he's yet.
Speaker 1 (51:30):
Er us And the worst is Jason.
Speaker 2 (51:33):
Brashography with Jason? Where we off to today? My friends,
we are going to mozamb Zambi. Yes, amazing.
Speaker 4 (51:45):
So it's in southeastern Africa. Has a lot of neighbors,
Indian Ocean, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe where we always tell
people are s what ten which I don't know what
that is in South Africa. So she's got a lot
(52:06):
of neighbors. She's very popular with all the girls. Largest
city is andfil this is for you sometimes. Don't dump me, Jesus,
(52:27):
you have to dump all my segments.
Speaker 1 (52:29):
Don't dump me.
Speaker 4 (52:30):
The movie Blood Diamond was filmed the yeah yeah, Blood
Diamond one of my favorites. There's a lot of severe
weather because of something called the monsoon trade winds. I
don't know what that is, but they have monsoon sometimes.
So they do fishing.
Speaker 18 (52:49):
They make chemicals, They make aluminum, alluminum.
Speaker 1 (53:00):
Great oil, I can't say it. They make oil there.
They make oil there, fantastic, Yeah, they make it. I
don't know. There's thirty million people there.
Speaker 4 (53:10):
Portuguese is the language, but there are forty six lang
languages spoken in one country.
Speaker 2 (53:16):
Isn't that I would not have that on Portuguese the
native language of Mozambia.
Speaker 1 (53:22):
Right, Yeah, I mean yeah, I wouldn't. Look, I just
learned something.
Speaker 6 (53:25):
Don't know if how.
Speaker 4 (53:25):
Close Portugal is, but that's where the language came from.
Speaker 1 (53:29):
If only there were a map, we could figure out
how right Portugal?
Speaker 4 (53:32):
Yeah, Okay, andiography with Jason No, And I'm sorry, but
I do have a fun fact about it.
Speaker 1 (53:37):
But I don't think it's your fun fact. Forday, just
steal my brain, Jason. Everyone else does it too. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (53:45):
It's the only one word country name that features all
five vowels.
Speaker 1 (53:50):
Oh wow. Interesting.
Speaker 2 (53:51):
That's a number of things there that I did not know, Jason.
Thank you for that. You know, I'm just trying to
drop some facts on you this morning. No you did it,
you didn't. All right, we get your own fun tact segments.
You get a podcast that was really good. Nice job,
I'm proud of. I'm learning so much between the Can't
Lose Parsley, which you couldn't lose this week? Hello, And
(54:12):
you know, I suppose the first point of the Can't
Lose Parslay was objective, but it was Patrick Mahomes is
going to be hot and in European.
Speaker 1 (54:20):
Got a haircut or something that may be.
Speaker 7 (54:23):
You know.
Speaker 1 (54:24):
Yeah, but between that and then this that city again
with the capital Okay.
Speaker 17 (54:29):
Oh gosh, what happened to your potot see a physician
or what?
Speaker 1 (54:40):
Peak? No, I'm not gonna.
Speaker 2 (54:50):
You want to take on show Michelley in the Showdown
two game win Streak, she wonder bucks a surprise will
play aff to do a call right now?
Speaker 1 (54:56):
It's the Fresh Show. Do you have what it takes
to battle show biz?
Speaker 19 (55:01):
Shelley in the show Biz Showdown show.
Speaker 6 (55:13):
Hey, big, its sounded fun? Huh yeah. How's your pantry?
Speaker 1 (55:19):
Oh it's great?
Speaker 16 (55:20):
Oh my gosh, you guys is the best feeling ever
organized my pantry this weekend.
Speaker 1 (55:23):
That's what I did big time.
Speaker 6 (55:25):
Oh yeah, bigs a bathroom, no nothroom.
Speaker 1 (55:31):
They were reminding they were turtle down.
Speaker 2 (55:33):
They were talking about military mic and how you know
it was this going to be an expedient process and
she said no, and clearly it's not.
Speaker 1 (55:40):
So now it's just like all the walls are open
when you go to the bathroom.
Speaker 7 (55:43):
No.
Speaker 6 (55:44):
I mean progress is made for sure, like walls are
up and stuff, but it's just not finished yet.
Speaker 2 (55:48):
I feel like a lot of people can relate to that,
to the to the husband of the wife who wants
to do that the di I Y project and they
and they start with they start with it like all
this energy and all this all this you know, the
best intentions, and they start tearing stuff out and you know,
we're going to power through this. And then somehow, like
a month later, it's still torn apart in a million
(56:08):
pieces and it hasn't been powered through a.
Speaker 1 (56:11):
Lot of work.
Speaker 6 (56:11):
It's a lot of work I could see. I mean,
it is what it is.
Speaker 1 (56:14):
So if I don't get done eventually, see, I have
an obsessive problem.
Speaker 2 (56:17):
I have a lot of obsessive problems, but one being
that if I started, it has to get finished, and
it has to get finished now. So like as you've
all heard the famous story about my wall not being
properly painted, and so I painted several times over and
over again, just making it worse. Actually, but that that
went all night because there's I couldn't rest. I couldn't
go to bedwin and looking like that, like I've already
(56:38):
got the stuff out, like we're doing this. And it
turned out, I learned later from a painter, I was
only making it worse by just painting over wet paint,
over and over and over there. Yeah, exactly. It was
literally just getting worse before my very eyes. I couldn't
stand it. So that's I guess. One nice thing about me,
if you'd like to marry me, is that if we
take on a home improvement project together, it either it's
getting done or we're hiring some Like if I tear
(57:02):
the place up and I can't put it back together,
don't worry, someone will be over there in no time
to fix it. Shelley, Yes, you challenge her today. Her
name is Caitlyn. I almost forgot. We're here to play
a game. Hi, Caitlin, Hi, how are you hey? Good morning?
Tell us all about you.
Speaker 1 (57:17):
Welcome.
Speaker 7 (57:19):
My name is Caitlin, I'm a pediatric nurse.
Speaker 1 (57:21):
Oh my gosh, where do you work? You lurie.
Speaker 6 (57:25):
A little further self?
Speaker 2 (57:26):
Okay, all right, we'll leave it at that little further
south like UFC. But whatever, we'll leave it at that.
So do you have any kids? When you want to
say hi, tow shout anybody out. Do you have a
romantic partner, a boyfriend, girlfriend on the side, anyone?
Speaker 21 (57:41):
Yes?
Speaker 9 (57:41):
I do have one daughter.
Speaker 7 (57:42):
Okay, she.
Speaker 1 (57:45):
Was saying I do have one boyfriend. Yeah, I'm married
to whatever. Caitlyn's like, I'm not telling you where I work.
I'm not telling you what I do. Nothing. Let's play
the game.
Speaker 2 (57:58):
Two hudred bucks is the price Shelley's record seven eighty
three and fifty two on a two game win streak.
Speaker 1 (58:02):
You ready, all right, Kaylyn?
Speaker 6 (58:04):
Good luck?
Speaker 5 (58:05):
Thank you?
Speaker 2 (58:06):
And this is an actual Caitlyn, not the way that
everyone says Kaitlyn's name is Caitlyn.
Speaker 1 (58:10):
Oh, she's Caitlyn.
Speaker 2 (58:11):
She's actually a Kitlyn. Okay, yeah, but so are you
though apparently most of the time.
Speaker 1 (58:15):
Yes, I respond to whatever. Yeah, here we go, Caitlin.
Speaker 2 (58:18):
Question number one, which Jonah's brother's divorce got messy over
the weekend with a couple fighting over their kids. Britney
Spears reportedly got her heads up about her sister joining
Dancing with the Stars.
Speaker 1 (58:31):
What's your sister's name, Jamie Sears?
Speaker 2 (58:35):
The Malibu Mayer says this Kardashian lied to get a
permit for a massive.
Speaker 1 (58:41):
Poosh poosh Yep, events, What the hell's poosh?
Speaker 6 (58:43):
It's her company, like a wellness brand.

Speaker 1 (01:04:03):
Caitlin, go ahead, you'll love this friend.
Speaker 6 (01:04:05):
So when Reuben Flowers the third was training to become
a pilot at Southwest, he stumbled across an old family
photo and the picture shows him in the cockpit, sitting
in the co pilot's seat with his dad as his
dad prepares to fly the plane. He said, I wanted
to be in that seat. He's now thirty and he
was determined to recreate that photo and fly with his
dad before his dad retired. It was coming down to
(01:04:27):
the last moments, he said, we didn't know if I
was going to make it through the training in time.
His dad is now sixty five, flew for Southwest for
thirty years, and on his son's second official flight as
a pilot for Southwest, he got to be the co
pilot on his dad's final flight. They went out for
a huge breakfast before and he said it was great
to be able to do that. It was crazy just
(01:04:47):
to look over there and see him. And yes, they
did recreate the photo from when he was little, so
it's really awesome.
Speaker 1 (01:04:53):
I love that.
Speaker 2 (01:04:56):
Yes, So, after four years of testing and developing, Lego
is selling brail bricks awesome that use the bumps on
their iconic bricks to teach the Braille alphabet, and they're
not only for blind people. Alongside the brailed bumps on
each brick is printed the letters and numbers so that
everyone can play while learning a new language, including people
(01:05:16):
who can see the new play with Brail set makes
learning Braill more fun and accessible to everybody. They're molded
with the same number of studs used for individual letters
and numbers in the Brail alphabet, while remaining fully compatible
with every Lego system.
Speaker 1 (01:05:32):
I think that's cool. That's cool. Gocus someone else for accellent.
Speaker 2 (01:05:37):
Teach a kid Brail, yeah, Brail, Yeah, Braila Sign language, Spanish, English,
I think may teach Mandarin these days.
Speaker 1 (01:05:49):
Coman, I think you should know all that stuff? He should? Yeah?
Is he going to?
Speaker 14 (01:05:53):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:05:56):
We'll start with the Lego Look, you know he's learning
something at the same time. Kiki's Court after David got
it in two minutes, French shows up orders a fresh show.
It's kis Kiki. All rise for the honorable judge Kiki.
Speaker 3 (01:06:14):
Yeah yeah, take it away. All right, let's get into
the court room. The gavel has been hit. All right,
This one.
Speaker 1 (01:06:22):
I'm so glad that you announced that as you do.
Speaker 3 (01:06:24):
Well, yeah they can't see radio, Yeah they can Yeah,
not til later. So listen, guys, this case is is
triggering me, but it says kekey. To make a long
story short. My name is Abby, and my husband left
me for my sister last year, crazy, leaving me to
raise our children and face the hardest year of my
(01:06:45):
life alone. To protect my children, I have never explained
to them all the details of our separation. However, they
have obviously realized that my husband and my sister are
no longer a part of our lives, and I'm sure
they could figure out why. I'll though I've tried to
protect them from it. Well, my daughter is turning sixteen
in November and I've been planning a huge sweet sixteen
(01:07:06):
party to celebrate, and while discussing the party with my daughter,
her only request was that I allow her dad and
her aunt to come to the party. Now this crushed
me because I can't imagine being in the same room
with the very two people who have destroyed my life.
But my mother said that I should put my feelings
aside and do it for my daughter. But I can't.
(01:07:28):
I'm just not gonna do it. So am I wrong
for my decision?
Speaker 1 (01:07:34):
Well?
Speaker 3 (01:07:35):
Abby, First of all.
Speaker 1 (01:07:36):
Ma'am, no, we know you're the judge, you know, but
I mean this one is, uh, that's tricky.
Speaker 3 (01:07:42):
I mean, first of all, Abby, your sister and that
man are low down, dirty dogs, like they are low
down to the ground, and there's a special place in
the devil's sauna for both of them. Okay, So let
me validate your feelings, because that's true, your right to
feel how you feel. However, I have to agree with
ma because when you're a parent, and I don't know,
(01:08:05):
but I know my parents, right. I don't have children,
but I know how I was raised. I know that
there are a lot of times that my parents would
put aside their feelings to do what was best for me.
And what I don't want is for your daughter to
resent you because she doesn't know the full details of
why you don't speak to them. She doesn't know you
know how hurt you are. Maybe I don't want her
to not have her dad and her aunt at her
(01:08:27):
birthday party because it's your husband is your sister, I understand,
but that's still her dad and her aunt. You should
give her those memories with them, and later on, when
she's a grown woman, you'll have Margarita's and you'll maybe
explain to her what the situation really was and they
can answer for that.
Speaker 2 (01:08:43):
Can It's easy for me to say because I'm not
involved in this, Yes, but I think cam would probably
agree with this as a children of divorced parents. And
I am super grateful for everything in my life and
the way everything is turned out. But things would have
been a lot easier and would probably continue to be
easier if everybody on the adult end of the divorce,
(01:09:05):
regardless of the shenanigans, and there were shenanigans, if they
could have just buried their own bs long enough to
just be parents when it was time to be parents.
So it doesn't excuse anything that anybody did or negated,
But at the same time, it's like grown ups need
to be grown ups and need to behave themselves when
(01:09:27):
it's time to behave themselves such that it's best for
the children. And if this sixteen year old girl wants
her dad there, you know, he did this to her
mom and that's bad, and the aunt did this to
her mom and that's bad, But it doesn't mean he
still can't be a parent. It doesn't mean that he
still can't, you know, ask for forgiveness and all the
rest of it. So the reality is she should allow this.
(01:09:49):
She should grant her daughter's wish for a party.
Speaker 3 (01:09:51):
That's what I say.
Speaker 5 (01:09:52):
So yeah, no, no, no, the mom is doing this
sweet sixteen party for her daughter. If she wants her
dad and the aunt there, then dad and the ant
can throwers another sweet sixteen party.
Speaker 1 (01:10:03):
You know what I'm saying, Like this is.
Speaker 5 (01:10:04):
The mom's going all out for this party, and she
don't want the husband there, the ex husband and her.
Speaker 1 (01:10:09):
Sister who are doing each other and at this party.
Like dad could throw his own his daughter a party too.
You know what I'm saying, they're not together no more.
Is it fair to the kids, That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (01:10:19):
These are adult decisions that have led to adult circumstances
and that shouldn't have to be projected onto the kids.
And the adults should play nice and they should not
take out their grievances on the kids or have the kids'
lives affected by their egos. I'm sorry, and it sucks,
(01:10:40):
It's gotta suck, but that's the right thing to do.
Speaker 3 (01:10:44):
Yeah, I mean, like my thing is, let them come.
The whole family probably knows what happened, or they do,
and now they have to stand there with the shame
on their face. But you know, as a mother, you
grant it your daughter's wish at the end of the day.
Like I, it would take everything in me. I probably
have to go to the car a couple of times.
I probably call Paulina Gret like, I would go through
so many emotions. But I couldn't imagine not granting my
(01:11:05):
daughter's sixteen birthday wish off of my emotions, you know.
So sometimes I just feel like you gotta put you know,
put the kids.
Speaker 1 (01:11:11):
Fires now, this kid's way too close to home.
Speaker 2 (01:11:12):
Adults making adult decisions and then not being happy with
the table they've laid righty, and then taking out the
repercussions or the aftermath on the Kidget Bold not okay.
Speaker 6 (01:11:25):
You know that really hot blonde TikToker Alex Earl Okay,
So her dad was having an affair with the call
woman that also was hooking up with the governor of
New York.
Speaker 1 (01:11:35):
What was her name?
Speaker 6 (01:11:35):
Do you remember this whole scandal? It was like it
was when Alex was really little anyways, there was like
paparazzi outside her house. Whatever. But somehow they all worked
it out, and now the mom and hangs out with
the woman that he cheated with, the former call girl
and the dad and they're all together with the family.
Speaker 1 (01:11:52):
God what was her name.
Speaker 3 (01:11:53):
It was a big news scandal, but I mean it
takes a lot to get past that point of her
and to actually become friends. I commend people that can
be I'm friends with the mistress.
Speaker 2 (01:12:01):
You know, they don't have to be friends in this case.
They can keep to their own sides. In fact, they should.
Speaker 3 (01:12:06):
Yeah, I wouldn't speak to her at all, but you know, no,
I mean separate them.
Speaker 2 (01:12:10):
They don't have to. They don't have to be friends.
They don't have to be nice, they don't have to
like each other. But they all have to have the
kids best interest in mine, because that's your obligation as
a parent in my opinion.
Speaker 6 (01:12:19):
Actually Free was her name, and it was the governor.
Speaker 1 (01:12:21):
Oh I remember her.
Speaker 6 (01:12:22):
Yeah, there's this whole scandal, but somehow they all figured out.
Speaker 1 (01:12:25):
A way to all right to the jury we go
eight five five five one three five. Miguel, Hi, Hey,
how's it go on?
Speaker 14 (01:12:33):
Fredime call her a longtime listeners. Yeah, all right, So honestly,
I think she does have to put her daughter's feelings aside.
That's just what her daughter wants. It is her sweet sixteen.
It's kind of a big deal. And if she does it,
(01:12:54):
the daughter will hold it against her. I mean, I
am a father myself, so when it comes to the birthday,
you kind of have to do whatever you need to
make your child happy on their birthday.
Speaker 6 (01:13:06):
Use that.
Speaker 14 (01:13:07):
But yeah, I mean, other than that, if she does it,
she's gonna deal with a lot of her percussions from
her daughter. And you know, honestly, that's just what I think.
Speaker 2 (01:13:17):
Yeah, yeah, Miguel, thank you man, thanks for listening, Thanks
for colling. You're welcome anytime.
Speaker 1 (01:13:21):
Have a good day. Yeah, I mean, Melissa, Hi, Hi, hey,
good morning, welcome. What do you think.
Speaker 6 (01:13:30):
I think it's so tricky. I feel like.
Speaker 11 (01:13:34):
As a parent, like you want, like you should leave
those issues out of it and meet your daughter what
she wants. But the same time, by.
Speaker 8 (01:13:40):
Making those choices, the dad and the aunt like they
made those choices and knowing.
Speaker 11 (01:13:45):
That they could risk that relationship with their niece and
whoever else in your family.
Speaker 2 (01:13:50):
Here's an interesting question, Melissa. So you're saying that the
daughter doesn't know the circumstances.
Speaker 3 (01:13:54):
Right, what she's saying that she never explained it to me,
but she said they can probably pick up the there's
something there.
Speaker 2 (01:14:01):
I don't know that it's tough, but I don't know
that I don't think that the sixteen year old should
understand why her mom doesn't like her dad. Now, you
could argue that that's just going to that's contradictory to
what I said, because it's only going to sort of
cloud the daughter's opinion of her father. But like I guess,
at a certain point, you got to be transparent about
why everyone doesn't like each other. Now, again, none of
(01:14:23):
this means the parents can't be parents, right, but I
guess I would.
Speaker 1 (01:14:28):
I guess I don't know. Maybe not when you're nine
or ten or five. We don't explain that, you know,
mom treated it.
Speaker 2 (01:14:34):
But at a certain point, I think it's like, hey,
we should probably be you know, you should understand why
this is hard. Doesn't mean that the mom should beat
this way and you're asking, we're asking a lot from
this mom.
Speaker 1 (01:14:49):
I get it.
Speaker 2 (01:14:49):
It's extremely selfish of the mom to be able to
say they can come, just stay away from me.
Speaker 1 (01:14:55):
But I think that's the anything to do to explain
it to the kid.
Speaker 2 (01:15:00):
I have the kid understand at some point, maybe not now,
but but then for the mom to say, they can come,
just stay away from me. But Melissa, thank you, have
a good days. That's a great question, though, too. Should
at what point do you tell your kids what's really
going on.
Speaker 3 (01:15:15):
I kind of feel like it's up to the dad
to tell the kids what is going on. You know,
like as me as a mother, we're not together, we're separated,
and you know, I no longer speak to your aunt.
If you would like to know more about this, talk
to your dad, because I would like him to have
to explain that. It shouldn't be the mother's burden to
explain to the kids the betrayal that she's feeling, because
it's going to be very hard to do that without
putting her own feelings into what she's saying. And then
(01:15:36):
when you do that, now your kid hates. You know,
if my mother came to me and it was like,
you know, your dad is sleeping with my sister, I
hate everybody, you know, and I'm team mom and she
doesn't want to do that.
Speaker 2 (01:15:46):
It's so complicated in these things because like I get
in this hit tell close to home. I'll speak for myself,
and yeah, there was a lot of mud throw when
I was a kid. You know, my mom was hurt.
I'm sure my father was heard, I guess. And here's
the thing, I don't never really know why it all
happened the way it did or who you know. I
think I know who's at fault. But but what I
(01:16:07):
know as an adult now having been through relationships, is
that it doesn't really matter whose fault it is. It
may matter to the adults, but as it pertains to
like friends, family, especially kids, like it doesn't It doesn't
affect ones. It shouldn't affect one's ability to continue to
be a great parent, you know what I mean. And
that's the thing, Like I don't care if my mom
and my father were fifty to fifty responsible for the
(01:16:29):
demise of their marriage. I don't believe that, but let's
say they were. My mom never stopped being a mom.
Speaker 1 (01:16:34):
My quote unquote stepdad was wound up being as much
or more of a dad than anybody.
Speaker 2 (01:16:40):
My grandfather too. But does that make them a holes
or bad people. Know, it makes incredible people, And none
of that would have happened if the divorce hadn't eroded,
you know what I'm saying. So like adults make adult decisions. Adults,
you know, the repercussions are.
Speaker 1 (01:16:55):
What they are.
Speaker 2 (01:16:55):
And then you get you made the bed, now you
get to lay in it. And it's not the kid's fault.
And I guess that's why I keep coming back to
is none of this is the fault of the kids.
So the adults have to figure out a way to
play nice. Yeah, and that's going to be tough for them, mom,
But I do wonder how much transparency and win. Hey Teresa,
turn your radio down, please, Teresa. Okay, we're going to
(01:17:16):
move on from Teresa. I don't want to hear what
I said.
Speaker 1 (01:17:22):
I know what I said. I know what I said
thirty seconds ago. Okay, Hey Jackie, Oh Hey, what's up? Hey?
Good morning? What do you want to say? Welcome?
Speaker 21 (01:17:31):
First, I want to say I love your show. I
listen to you on the way to work every day,
look or to it.
Speaker 3 (01:17:36):
But I do want to say that you know, I'm.
Speaker 21 (01:17:39):
A divorced parent as well, and it is important to
protect your kids but to have this happen at this
party and this is the first time everybody's going to
be together, who's to say that, you know, the dad
isn't going to walk in with his arm around sister,
and that's going to be very awkward for the kids.
Speaker 6 (01:17:57):
So true, I don't know.
Speaker 21 (01:17:59):
I mean, I'm just not one hundred percent on board
with that. I mean, we want to protect our kids.
But at the same time I'm wondering, is why is
the mom protecting the dad anyway about you know, the
dad with all of this, You know, I feel like
she should just kind of let the kids know, like
this is what's happening, well, and then let them decide
(01:18:20):
if they want dad at.
Speaker 14 (01:18:21):
The party or not.
Speaker 2 (01:18:22):
I agree, And Kiki, all of this kinges on and
what you're saying to Jackie hinges on adults acting like adults,
which is not what happens often.
Speaker 1 (01:18:29):
It doesn't often happen that way. So you're right, right,
this is too risky.
Speaker 2 (01:18:33):
Maybe maybe there needs to be a conversation about why
she's not comfortable with dad coming and aunt coming, and yeah,
I mean, and leave it to the sixteen year old
to understand for herself.
Speaker 14 (01:18:44):
Why Yeah, Yeah, you don't want it to all go
down at the party.
Speaker 2 (01:18:48):
You know, Well, that's true, that that's only gonna make
things worse, and it's going to ruin her birthday in
a way that she'll never ever ever forget.
Speaker 1 (01:18:55):
That's true. Thank you, Jackie. You have a good day. Yeah, yeah,
you too, think Kiky, it's a real this is a
real uh nundrum. We got on our ounds here this morning.
You had conundrum Jason.
Speaker 4 (01:19:06):
Corum conundrum, conundrum Mozambique, Mozambique, mabuto aluminum.
Speaker 1 (01:19:15):
Hey Alexis Massachusetts. No, not that one, No dude, right.
Speaker 2 (01:19:21):
I think we paid enough findes this weekend, so we're
not going to try it again. Lexi, Hi, good morning,
Kiki's Curt.
Speaker 1 (01:19:25):
What do you want to say?
Speaker 9 (01:19:27):
Good morning?
Speaker 7 (01:19:28):
First off, love you guys. Why spot to me every morning?
Speaker 21 (01:19:30):
I made it worse?
Speaker 1 (01:19:31):
Thank you.
Speaker 21 (01:19:33):
But my input is I am actually a child.
Speaker 7 (01:19:35):
Of divorce parents who didn't always get along when I
was younger. So being a child of divorced parents, I
will say that I agree with you guys that the
parents should put their issues aside for their children, because
that is what a parent is supposed to do. You're
always just supposed to put your child first, no matter
what happened your parents first, then you deal with your
(01:19:57):
own feelings a side. That's what my parents always did,
whether they got along, where they didn't get along, and
always made sure that they put me first. Set had
their issues, and when the child is old enough them,
she can decide for herself how she feels about her
father and her aunt based on what they did to
her mom. It's a child's choice, but parents should always
put their kid first, because, yeah, a child will resent
(01:20:18):
their parents. They don't know the whole truth. And you know,
the mom doesn't give her kid what she wants.
Speaker 9 (01:20:24):
Who should have understand why she could end up resenting
the mom And obviously no parent wants their.
Speaker 2 (01:20:28):
Child to prevent them well, And like you, I know
people are listening going, hey, Fred, you don't know because
you've never had kids, you've never been married.
Speaker 1 (01:20:35):
And I know that's true.
Speaker 2 (01:20:36):
But I'm the product of a situation where it was
just so unfortunately toxic and dirty and nasty and messy.
And I can't tell you that didn't defect me and
my sister negatively. So guess what the expectations just hire
you just got to do it. You got to figure
it out for the sake of your kids in a
perfect world, I guess, but yes, you're right, I don't
(01:20:57):
know firsthand.
Speaker 1 (01:20:58):
Thank you, Lexi. You have a good day.
Speaker 3 (01:21:00):
Thank you too.
Speaker 1 (01:21:03):
Many. We got the jury I hear today. What do
you think actually? I yeah, yeah, I'm waiting to be
number seven. Let's go, yeah, number seven. What's your hood?
I'm waiting to be tired.
Speaker 9 (01:21:22):
I'm sorry. No, I think that the mom should let
the dad and the sister come, even though like what
they did is absolutely unforgivable. I can't stand when parents
can't like put their differences aside, Like no matter what
the dad did, Like, the daughter wants her dad to
be a part of her life, and the mom should
do like allow that to happen. Like that's not okay
(01:21:44):
to like like exclude her her dad out of her life.
It's just not okay unless the dad is like harming
her in some way, like then maybe like no, don't
include him.
Speaker 7 (01:21:56):
But it's just like if he's being.
Speaker 9 (01:21:58):
A good dad, like absolutely like he should be there,
especially since the daughter wants him there.
Speaker 1 (01:22:03):
Yeah, thank you, Ashley, have a good day.
Speaker 2 (01:22:06):
Thank you, glad you called Alexis Hi alexis good morning.
Speaker 11 (01:22:10):
Hi going Hi guys.
Speaker 2 (01:22:12):
Hey, this hits home for you too. A lot of
people texting too, They're like, hmm sounds familiar.
Speaker 11 (01:22:15):
Wow, yeah, yeah, it HiT's real real close home for me.
Speaker 1 (01:22:20):
Well what did you want to say that? What do
you think what should happen?
Speaker 11 (01:22:24):
So well, in my situation, my dad shely have my
mom with his brother's like, so she kept up from
us for like a long time, but he was very,
very persistent and like picking at her, like with every
little thing she did, he was picking on him. So
finally she told us she just had she hit a
breaking point and she told us. And I want to
say I was thirteen. But my view on men, now,
(01:22:45):
he's a good dad. He never sets out like he's
such a good dad. But I just don't trust men
in general. Like I my view on men is completely tainted.
They're like the rest of my life. I was like,
I hit her at the end of the day.
Speaker 1 (01:22:58):
I'm sorry, Okay, no, it's just it's unfortunate. But it's like,
you know, yeah, I guess.
Speaker 2 (01:23:02):
I guess it comes back to the question of how
much transparency do you offer and at what point you know,
at what age and whose story you know? Because I
don't know. Again, there's always two sides. I mean, I'm
not excusing infidelity, especially with your sister of all people,
but like, I don't know what there's really probably no
excuse for that.
Speaker 1 (01:23:18):
But how did we get to that point?
Speaker 20 (01:23:20):
You know?
Speaker 1 (01:23:20):
And I don't know how much of that do you
tell a kid? And at what point, at what age?
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:23:25):
Do you wish that they would have told you later
on in life? Like not so early?
Speaker 11 (01:23:29):
Honestly, Like we grew up Jehovah's witness, so it was
a completely different like experience and like different kind of
ball games. So either way we were going to know
something to place and somebody cheated on somebody, we were
going to know somebody cheating on somebody. So with that,
like my dad admitted to it. So I don't know,
I just feel like we were going to know regardless.
(01:23:50):
But had my dad told us and my dad sat
down with us and like admitted his wrongs and took
accountability and then like a from there, it would have
been a completely different outcome.
Speaker 1 (01:24:03):
Yeah, Alexis, thank you and thanks for sharing. Have a
good day.
Speaker 11 (01:24:06):
Thank you so much, wonderful.
Speaker 1 (01:24:08):
That's the thing.
Speaker 2 (01:24:09):
I gotta say that somebody made a good point about
how this it could wind up being explosive if everybody
can't behave themselves, that's true, and that's you know, nobody
wants that.
Speaker 1 (01:24:17):
That's gonna be. I'd be worse than just excluding somebody.
Speaker 3 (01:24:20):
Oh man, Abby, I'm sorry. Well, Judge, I'm so sorry.
What the hell is she gonna do? I still say,
have them at the party? You keep your composer, girl, Ruffeo?
Speaker 1 (01:24:28):
What I would?
Speaker 5 (01:24:29):
I would say I would if I were the mom,
I'd be like, you could have your dad there, but
not your aunt. You know what I'm saying, Like, oh man,
were saying your dad, your dad? Yeah, fine, if you're
gonna have one person at the party, you're dead. But
your aunt ain't. No way gonna get an invite to
this party.
Speaker 3 (01:24:42):
Nobody, Patty gone.
Speaker 1 (01:24:46):
This is how we're gonna handle this.
Speaker 2 (01:24:47):
Okay, okay, if it's me and it's my if I
had an ex wife, as soon as she shows up,
somebody from the Safari shoots me across the room one
of those blowgugs, trying to lasses me that they're using
like elephants and stuff, you know, And then it hits
me and then I pass out. Okay, right just right there,
don't know what hit me. And then by the time
I get up, party's over all right. That's what I want, though,
(01:25:08):
I want somebody like in camouflage, like hiding behind the sequence,
you know, whatever, the theme. What's the theme for the
sixteenth birthday? Will we have a theme these days? If
we had a sixteenth birthday party? What would that person
have as a theme? Olga A.
Speaker 1 (01:25:23):
So she's hiding behind nineteen eighty nine and then she
just goes and the guy that's and then the dart
hits me and they're like, I'm out. I can't get mad.
I don't know what happened. Party's over. We are never
getting back together. Starts playing It's perfect.
Speaker 2 (01:25:36):
How long did it take you to come up with that? Yeah,
that's exactly right. Then Travis Kelsey shows up and then
make sure we make it time a whole.
Speaker 10 (01:25:44):
Fred Show's entertainment report is on the fread show, Oh Boy.
Speaker 6 (01:25:49):
During a recent podcast, our friend Charlotte and the God
he's a radio personality if he didn't know, said that
no one cared about the new song Slam You Out
with Sizza and Drake that looks like Drake might have
caught wind of those, because he's real mad right now,
He's thrown a little tantrum. He took to Instagram to
post a photo of Charlemagne, writing in deep thought about.
Speaker 1 (01:26:07):
How you the off brand Morris Chestnut.
Speaker 6 (01:26:11):
In another sense deleted post, he wrote, are you a
kay Lenard which is his real name? You kind of
weirded me out? Gee, like you really obsessed with me
or something for years, Like you look in the mirror
and wish you saw my reflection type ish whatever you
got to do to let it out. I'm sure your
four hundred and thirty five loyal fans will stand by you,
y effing goose. So Drake has his panties and a
(01:26:31):
bunch over someone just giving their opinion on the song.
So I don't know why, but those two have gone
back and forth for years. They're gonna be fine and
then they're not again a million more times in this life.
So I'm not worried of either of them. Beyat had
a surprise for fans in her hometown as she brought
out fellow Houstonian.
Speaker 1 (01:26:47):
Is that how I say it?
Speaker 6 (01:26:48):
Meg the Stallion for their first ever performance of Savage
Remix together.
Speaker 1 (01:26:52):
I can't believe this is the first time they did that.
Speaker 6 (01:26:54):
There were a ton of people also in the audience, Normani,
Kelly Roland, Michelle Williams, so all of Destiny'schild. She brought
them up. The hell jay Z was also in the audience.
It was pretty lit and real quick. Yes, Taylor was
at the Chiefs Bears game. Yes, she left the Kelsey
Uh they are yes if you have ears, eyes, and nose.
Speaker 1 (01:27:14):
They didn't talk about that at all.
Speaker 8 (01:27:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:27:15):
No, the NFL was posting, which was wild.
Speaker 6 (01:27:18):
And if you didn't know who Taylor was, She's a
twelve time Grammy winner.
Speaker 1 (01:27:22):
I've heard about it. I've heard about her work before.
In case anyone was confused.
Speaker 6 (01:27:25):
But yes, they left together and she had chicken tenders,
which is what I was really kidding.
Speaker 2 (01:27:28):
And I know it's been said a million times, but
I did think it an original thought was My god,
how much does it suck that any team that plays
the team that she's cheering for everyone hates them?
Speaker 1 (01:27:43):
Now, yes, like you know what I mean. In this case,
it was the Bears, but like every swifty Oh, she
likes the Chiefs, So I like the Chiefs, right, millions
and millions and millions of people will become chief standing.
Speaker 5 (01:27:55):
Everyone's buying State farm insurance now over here in the commercials, in.
Speaker 6 (01:28:00):
The comments of the Swifties, and like the NFL people,
I don't know, sports fans were just like going at
each other.
Speaker 1 (01:28:06):
And I'm like, guys, can we just like relax?
Speaker 2 (01:28:08):
But then God forbid, like something happens and then the
Chiefs become the least the most hated team in the world.
Speaker 6 (01:28:13):
Right, And I saw people like, she's an Eagles fan?
Speaker 1 (01:28:15):
How could you you?
Speaker 6 (01:28:16):
Guys? She's not like picking who she has sex with
based on for allegiance to teams.
Speaker 1 (01:28:20):
That's what I do, right, that's I only I only
have sex with Chicago Bears and Carolina Panthers exactly. I
will say that both teams are only three.
Speaker 3 (01:28:30):
Okay, we need to work on it.
Speaker 22 (01:28:44):
Right to check out online today with your twelve or
twelve I love it more? Do I got online today?

and I thought, you know, maybe some of you know,
but this is a comparently new information, a new study.
Have you, guys ever wondered, though, why you crave chocolate
and junk food at certain times of the month.
Speaker 1 (01:29:46):
Have you ever wondered that all the time?
Speaker 3 (01:29:48):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:29:48):
Well, it turns out that a change in your brains
at that certain time of the month could affect your
appetite and lead you to crave junk food. The research
found differences in insulin sensitivity a different phases of the
menstrual cycle. Increased sensitivity to insulin during monthly menstruation could
explain your cravings.
Speaker 1 (01:30:10):
That's what's going on. Yeah, that was me over the weekend.
Speaker 6 (01:30:12):
Anything I could get my little hands on, just shoving
it down my mouth.
Speaker 3 (01:30:17):
Literally everyday life.
Speaker 1 (01:30:18):
Yeah, same every day.
Speaker 3 (01:30:22):
They don't miss a day.
Speaker 5 (01:30:25):
A week and a half weeks.
Speaker 1 (01:30:30):
So there you go. That's what that's what it is.
Speaker 2 (01:30:32):
The new discovery could help explain the increased appetite and
unhealthy cravings during the second half of the cycle. It
could also explain pre menstrual mood swings. His insulin action
in the brain may affect emotions going on complicated ecosystem.
(01:30:52):
Somebody gives Somebody's an inflent or taken away show.
