Speaker 1 (00:00):

two to the January twenty fifth show to night Hotel
State at Park MGM January twenty fourth through the twenty

Speaker 2 (00:29):
Ariana Grande says her upcoming Eternal Sunshine Tour could be
her last as a pop star. I have never heard
seen you whip your head at me, Belder. I know,
I was about to tell you to brace yourself, but
I figured you had seen it because sink.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Of all the topics that we've just got so far
in the first hour of the show, that's the one
that really blew you away.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
I know. So it's not for sure, but she was
on Amy Puller's Good Hanging podcast and said while she
is excited to do that small run of shows next year,
she said I think it might not happen again for
a long long, long, long time. So I'm gonna give
it my all. I think that's why I'm doing it,
because I'm like, oh, one last hurrah for now.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
Oh wow, Oh I gotta go.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
Well, yeah, I got to see this. That's so sad, though,
you gotta go. You need to leave. I have to
leave now to breathe. Yeah, brief, but I also need
to go to the show.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Yeah, you need to go to the show. I mean,
she's in her she's in her acting theater back. I
think she found her. I think she's a theater kid
of heart, and I think she found her people, and
she's she's in love with Cynthia Rebo.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
Their life together, right and be happy in the right.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
One of them wants to pull up a U haul
and they're gonna just climb all over each other.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
And she just be one of those things that were like, like, uh,
like Elton John went on fourteen retirement tours, you know,
I mean, like for twenty years he toured as it's
for the fine old time, but not really. I think
this is just a way to degenerate, appeal to when
she does decide to do other things.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
I think it's how she actually feels in the moment,
but I don't think it will be her last tour.
But I do think she's gonna take a really long break.
I don't think she aligns with being a pop star anymore.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
No, not anymore, which makes me scared for the tour
because I'm like, girl, I need you to be like, yeah,
with your life, your ponytail flighter. We can't even see
you because the light start on, Like that's what I need.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
I think she's I think she's stuck in that care.
Yes she does.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
She thinks that she's a fairy.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
Whatever she doing in that movie here, she really Yeah,
she was a fair.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
She is that character.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
She certainly is.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
I mean, you can only do so much. Well, so
that's true. Like, and I don't think people realize how
much time and energy goes into touring. Yeah, I mean
it probably took a year plus for I mean more
for probably more for Taylor to conceptualize the ras to
her and then figure it out. And then it took
you know, you're talking about all kinds of travel, and
everyone thinks it's so easy because well she's Taylor Swift

(03:01):
and she got private jets and she's rich. But I
mean there was kind of a feed of nature. For
her to be doing three three four hour shows a
week in different parts of the world. I mean, it's
a big son. I don't know. Maybe if you're on
a grande it's like I can't do it all, and
I can't do it all well, so I'm going to
focus on one thing.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
Yeah, and she's in the Meet the Parents sequel to
two coming up some more acting roles, I don't know.
In similar news, Selena Gomez said she's unsure if she'll
ever perform at an award show or on tour. Same reaction. Nope, okay, no,
you can't get rid of that time, Jason said, next right,
she said, And I'm not going to say that I
never would again, because who knows. I'm always saying that

(03:40):
I'll never and then I'm back. So I'm fully aware
of my tendencies. So tough day for pop music and
Jason for the first story. And this one is for
my friends fans. So, Paulina, this is you in the room.
Hines is rolling out a limited edition leftover gravy squeezable
bottle in the name of post Thanksgiving leftovers a la

(04:01):
Arman Ross. You remember he had the moist maker You remember.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
That, Yes, I hate moist.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
So this kit is sold at Walmart only, and it
includes a twelve ounce star of Heinz Homestyle Turkey gravy,
then in like a squeeze bottle, and then a recipe
card inspired by the iconic Sorry Moistmaker sandwich from Friends.
And what that is is he takes all the leftovers. Okay,
he makes a sandwich, which like is the best thing

(04:28):
to do, but he takes a piece of bread and
he soaks it in gravy and puts it in the sandwich.
And he brought it to work and he wrote his
name on it, and someone stole his sandwich from the
workfridge and that led to his mental breakdown and he
had to go on medication, which I understand that I get.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
More every dame.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
When you're looking forward to leftovers and they're gone, it's
very upsetting.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
That's not a terrible idea, except I think you would
need to eat it right away. Yeah, I don't think
that's it. That's not I'm gonna dip the gravy because
that's a nice way to sort of because the gravy's
gonna go every whe But maybe if you dip the
bread and then it absorbs it and then you get
the gravy taste. But then when it's not as messy.
But that's not a a I do this and then
pack it and take it. That's not and I know

(05:10):
that's not the point of the debate, but that's not
a travel sandwich. No, that's not thinking it's going to work.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
Yeah, it's not gonna work. Well, but I do understand
being excited for food and then it's not there and well.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
And as you know, one of the greatest thrills in
life is opening the fridge only to realize there's something
there that you forgot about, like you know, like and
I don't mean after days, I mean, ah man, I'm hungry.
I opened the fridge and it's like, oh, from like
it's right there, yes, you know, and then you get
to eat it. But you didn't realize that it was
there because you forgot maybe because you came home late

(05:43):
and put it in the fridge, like I don't know.
That's such a oh man.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
That's living it.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
It really is.

Speaker 2 (05:49):

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
