Speaker 1 (00:00):
Allen's Entertainmer Report, and he's on the Fread Show.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
You have to start off by saying congrats to miss
Beyonce as she was named the greatest pop Star of
the twenty first century by bill Board.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
The list was staff chosen, and she's.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Obviously a record setting Grammy winner, performer, and creator whose
commitment to innovation, evolution, and all around excellence has made
her the bar against which all other pop stars this
century have long been measured over the past twenty five years.
Last week, Billboard announced Taylor Swift as the number two pick,
with Rihanna claiming the third spot. They wrote, while Taylor

(00:36):
Swift is this century's biggest pop star by numbers from
album sales to streams to touring dominance, our editorial staff
has chosen Beyonce is our number one greatest pop star
of the century based on her full twenty five years
of influence, evolution, and impact. Adele Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber,
Kanye West, Britney Spears, le Dea Gaga, and Drake rounded

(00:58):
out the top ten. Other names I Saw Bad Bunny,
The Weekend, One Direction, Miley cyrus Nicki Minaj, Eminem Usher,
and Katie Perry.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
Those were all I believe in the top twenty five.
I was in the comments yesterday. I was living for it.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
I saw a lot of people saying a few different
things repeatedly.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
They were upset Chris Brown was left out.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
I saw that a lot they questioned why jay Z
was included in a pop star list, and a lot
of people were saying they didn't understand the definition of
pop music anymore. And then I did see a lot
of people pissed that Beyonce was number one. To that,
I would say, everyone has their own opinion, but it
doesn't mean your opinion is right.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
Why are you mad about this Billboard list? Why are
we not happy? It's just I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
There's so much hatred and everybody thinks their opinion is
the right one, and it was driving me a little crazy.
I think it's really awesome that the top three are women,
and I think that that's a win.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
It's one list, it's one person list that doesn't affect
your day to day life and work.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
Right, It's like other people expressing their opinions and we're
so angry and we're arguing. I was like, oh my god,
but that's what I saw a lot, so congrats to Beyonce.
Speaking of Eminem, his mother, Debbie Nelson, died Monday night
from complications related to advanced lung cancer at sixty nine
years old, and though Eminem has provided financial support to

(02:19):
his mama, he hasn't been in contact with her for
several years, and he discussed their relationship in his lyrics
a lot.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
If you're a fan, you know this.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
I saw a lot of people specifically talking about cleaning
out my closet where he talks about her funeral and stuff.
It's a really tough song to listen to, but she
did put him through a lot. He was very angry,
and he did stop performing that song for years and
years and years out of respect to her. Their relationship
grew warmer over time, with Eminem saying in an interview

(02:48):
with b Et in twenty eleven, even though we don't
really speak, she's my mother. I do love her, and
I think I got better at understanding what she was
going through and what she may be going through now.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
He you know, was on his own journey of sobriety.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
On his twenty thirteen track Headlights, He's saying, I'm mad
I didn't get the chance to thank you for being
my mom and my dad.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
So Mom, please accept this tribute. I wrote on this jet.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
I follow his brother Nathan, who you also know if
you're a fan on Instagram, and yesterday he seems to
still be working through stuff. He wrote on his story
hatred and mixed emotions today period.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
So a lot to work through.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
But she did pass away and E was taking care
of her till the very end.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
And Sabrina Carpenter is a single lady.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
She and that creepy dood from Saltburn, Mary Keagan.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
Have broken up. What rap boys summer is over? Rap
boy summer is over.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
They dated for a year, so on one hand, I'm hearing, Okay,
we get it. They're both young, career focused, so they
decided to take a break. But a few days ago,
my favorite gossip blog Desmos posted a blind item that
many thought was about Sabrina and Barry, and she wrote
that allegedly an actor was cheating on his singer girlfriend
with a popular influencer or TikToker.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
When she found out about it, this split.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
I mean, she is the eight girl, so I really
just can't wait to see who she dates next.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
She's on a career high. So is he. So there
you go. She's a single lady. Jason. Is there anything
fun on our website? Yeah, Britney Speerrey is living around
the country.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
Yes, and she just turned five. Yes, Rencher Radio dot
Com huh yep, exactly.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
You heard me right. That's so she just turned five.
That's what she's she told me. Yeah, and she's moving
to another country. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
I want to be clear. I want to make sure
I understood it quickly. Britney Spears is saying she just
turned five. That was the age she said she turned, right, I.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
Believe so Yeah, Yeah, okay, I see yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
So and her hair is attached to her head currently
or no, yeah, looks like it.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
Yeah, okay, yep.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
But I have to say I have to say when
she did and I've said this many times, but I
must reiterate when she shaved her head in the what
mid odts, the twenty odts, when was that like maybe
two thousand and five.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
Six something like that.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
I was in the Yeah, when she did that, I
was like, that is outrageous. That is crazy. She is
low her mind, she needs to be, you know, and
was admitted and you know, and I think she certainly
battles with some things, and I, after watching a series
of documentaries and reading and seeing the life that Britney
Spears has led, I kind of understand why. And it's

(05:15):
a common theme with a lot of these child stars,
where like they never got to be real people at all,
Like their life was always this in this sort of
aquarium kind of thing.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
But at the time, I was like, that is drastic.
What year was it, two thousand and seven? And I
would argue that this is your best take that you
have ever had.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
I feel it to a level that I can't cay
when we've known each other for a long time. I've
had a tremendous takes for a long time. Fun most
of them are, but I get you can't win them all.
I would say, good, I would say conservatively ninety seven
percent of it takes here are. But but I at
the time thought that was the craziest thing. Now fast
forward fifteen twenty years, I relate there are so many

(05:54):
days where I think that the only thing I could
possibly control, the only thing I could possibly do to
cleanse my of what is going on in my life
and my brain, is.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
To shave my head.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
And the closest I've got is and I've said this before,
is shaving my beard. If I ever come in here
and I am completely clean shaven, one of two things happened.
I either really screwed up on the on lining it up,
which has happened before, where I like, I'm like not
paying attention, I go and then I half my beard's gone,
because I, like anyone has a beard knows I'm talking about.
You're trying to line it up, and if it gets
it gets to the point where if it gets too crooked.

(06:24):
Now it's like up here by the time I fixed it,
and I look like like boy George or something. So
I have to if you know who that is, if
you don't google it, and then I have to like shave.
I barely know who that is, but you just shave
it off. But no, the shaving the head thing, I
can relate to it.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
It's regaining control.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
And if you're listening and don't remember what happened, She
notoriously went into a salon and the person she wanted
to shave her head like she wanted someone else to
do it for, and they were like, I'm not.

Speaker 1 (06:47):
Shaving Britney spears head.

Speaker 2 (06:48):
So she grabbed the razor or whatever and did it herself,
and then she was attacking paparazzi with an umbrella.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
Yeah, And I remember being like, oh my god, she's
completely lost it. And you may argue that I've completely
lost it. It's possible, but I don't think. I don't
think that I'm at the level that I thought she
was at when she did that. Yet I completely relate,
and I can sometimes there are some days where I'm like,
I need to do something to feel like I have
exactly your point.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
I get it.

Speaker 3 (07:15):
The Sultan Pepper thing is in right now, so I'm
not gonna be not my more Fred show next
