Speaker 2 (00:29):
Elon Musk, as we know now is on track to
become the world's first ever trillionaire. Trillionaire and Billie Eilish,
who just a few weeks ago made her feelings very
clear about billionaires.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
As you can.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Guess, she's probably not happy about the trillionaire situation. In
response to the news that Tesla's CEO's net worth is
nearing thirteen digits.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
That's how many digits? Just a one thousand billion?

Speaker 1 (00:54):
Right? A trillion would be billion times ten, right, so
it would be one thousand billion. Great. I don't know.
I mean, it's the numbers. I can't compete my TI
eighty three won't do it, so I'm not sure. I
don't know how many zeros to put in or whatever.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
We're the best at fast math around here, so you'd
be the one to answer that one. But in response
to the news, Billy reposted a carousel of infographics of
ways that Elon could use his money for good. I
think one of them was like solve world hunger, and
she basically said some choice words. She called him a coward,
She called himpathetic after all these reports, so that is

(01:32):
how she feels.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
If you guys were wondering, told you guys.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
Yesterday that two former NBA players were on the Hope
and and Holler in podcast and joked that Clay Thompson's
relationship with Meg THEA Sallion was the reason for his
recent shooting slump, tossing out some pretty crude comments in
the process. The clip, of course, blew up like we
talked about yesterday. Posting to Instagram, Clay shared his feelings.

(01:56):
He was defending his woman. He said, referring to my
girlfriend as a P word is so disgusting and disturbing,
especially from someone who played in the NBA. How would
y'all feel if I referred to your wives in such ways.
He tagged them directly at adding do better. Very disappointing.

Speaker 4 (02:13):
So that's right, Clay, stand and want business about your girl.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
It can't be that he's had injuries, that he's getting older,
that you know, the team's not as good, or it
can't be.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
That right, blame to be her ful.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
Yeah, and their relationship I'm obsessed with. Did you see
him pick her up from the airport and he was late? Yes?

Speaker 3 (02:31):
Men, take note.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
He said, I'm so sorry I was late. I lost
check of time. There's no excuse I should not have
been late. He had roses and they just went off
into La la land.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
Yes, please take notes, Timothy.

Speaker 4 (02:44):
Okay, he picked yeah, Blade, and he just stopped answering,
there's your point of us talking while I'm trying to
get to you. I was like, excuse me, yes, okay, I'm.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Blame my girlfriend from my demise too, Just so you
know you do.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
Are you having a demise? I feel like you're you're
going up.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
I have a girlfriend, right, exactly exactly, You're right.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Yeah, And you guys heard me freak out about this
in the studio yesterday when the news came out. Eminem
has signed on to executive produce the Detroit Lions Thanksgiving
halftime show for.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
The next three years.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
Thank You My Prins have been answered, teaming up with
his longtime manager Paul Rosenberg.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
They're both from Detroit.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
The Lions say the partnership is going to turn the
annual game into a cultural moment, while Eminem says he's
honored to help shape one of Detroit's biggest traditions. If
you did not know, the Lions are one of the
few teams that play every year on Thanksgiving, it is
a tradition unlike any other.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
But I will tell you I have gone many.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
It's a tradition unlike any other. Okay, so I don't
know what you're talking.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
I have never been to Allion Thanksgiving.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
I think that's copywritten, So be careful. It's a tradition.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
Like he's threatening me, he's a lot.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
I'm going to I'm a huge master. I just want
to make sure we don't get a C and B.
It's it's a It's a tradition that is unbeaten and unmatched.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
What I'm it's lit, but but it's lit.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
There you go.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
I've gone many a time, and one year I got
Andy Grammer as my halftime performer.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
And another year.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
He shout out to Andy Grammer, not lit, that's not lit,
that's not fire me up at halftime. Hey Now he
would go, here we go coming down.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
I want to go get a brat.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
And then another year I had Jack Harlow in the
damn prop set up with the igloo that was going
to fall over, and he had his cousin doing all the.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
Time nobody could hear him right or so was that
like an audio issue with that or something.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
It was tough, and he had the nerve to shout
Detroit out and a thing. So I just I just
want to say my prayers have been answered and it's
going to be a good halftime show.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
What are the other teams that play the Cowboys?

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Cow Boys playing Thanksgiving usually? I think maybe is it
more than that or just a two.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
I don't know if there's a third text only.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Jason, we're here, he would tell us.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
But this is his streame, Cowboy Nation.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
If you want to catch up on anything you missed
from the show, you can do so it's all up

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
