with this dude, Dre?

Speaker 1 (00:17):
Is it? Dray? What happened?

Speaker 3 (00:18):
Tell us everything about any dates that you've been on,
and then what's going on right now?

Speaker 4 (00:22):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (00:23):
So you know, I met Drey and we went out
and I had a great time. I thought it was cool.
You know, he took me out to eat, it was
it was it was chill, it was cool. Reviving and
has been trying to get in touch with him, and
he hasn't really responded, okay back at all. So I'm

(00:46):
just kind of wondering why. I'm not really sure you
know what's going on or what you know, what happened.
I hope he's okay.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
Okay, So this date was you know, again, I always
ask this. People don't always seem to have awareness to
answer properly. But you thought the date went well? I mean,
it was good conversation, it was good chemistry. I mean,
you really walked away from this experience thinking I'm gonna
hear from this guy again. We're gonna go out again.
You're confused, you're perplexed.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
Yes, exactly, I thought we were. I thought it was cool.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
Okay, right, well, let's see if we can get Dre
on the phone. You'll be on the phone as well.
I don't want you to say anything right at first,
but you're welcome to jump in at some point, and
hopefully we can get answers for you and straighten things out,
perhaps and set you guys up on a second date
that we pay for. Does that sound good?

Speaker 1 (01:32):
That sounds great?

Speaker 3 (01:33):
All right, hang on one Second're gonna play one song
and then we'll come back and do it. Let's find
out what's going on. Part two of waiting by the
phone after Billy Eilish back in two minutes. Stay here,
Billy eilishh it's the Fred Show. Hey, Marissa, welcome back.
Let's call Dre. You guys, you went on a date.
You thought everything went well. You met on the dating apps,
you thought this date was good, good chemistry, all that

(01:55):
stuff you expected to hear from Dre again, Except he's
not calling you, he's not responded to you. You feel
like you've been ghosted, and you want to know why.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
You're right on the money.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Okay, Well, let's call Dre right now. Good luck?

Speaker 3 (02:06):
Marissa? Hello, Hi is this Drey? Yes, hey Dre, good morning.
My name is Fred. I'm calling from the Fred's Show
and I have to ask you if it's okay if
we chat for just a second on this show.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Do I have your permission for that?

Speaker 3 (02:28):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (02:29):
What's going on?

Speaker 1 (02:29):
Well? Thank you so much.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
Maybe you've heard this before, maybe not, but it's called
waiting about the phone. We're actually calling on behalf of
a woman who says she met you on the dating
apps you guys went out recently. Her name is Marissa.
Do you remember Marissa?

Speaker 2 (02:41):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (02:41):
I remember Marissa.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
I thought you were gonna flat out say I do
not remember this person, but you do?

Speaker 1 (02:46):
Okay, you remember Marissa.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
Well, she called us and told us that she liked
you and thought you guys went on a great date
and says that you're not responding to her. You're ghosting her.
You don't know it's you know, you're not reaching out
for another date. She's confused. So what your side of
the story?

Speaker 1 (03:01):
Man? Listen, She's the girl took advantage of me, straight up,
girl took advantage of me. I took her out to this.
I think her hat to this nice place, right, I
think I had to this nice restaurant. But it was cool.
We were reviving for a minute.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
It was very nice. You know.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
Menu comes and then she goes ham like she went nuts,
oh like ordering stuff. She but that's the thing. You
know what you go out on a gate, you normally
order one one one plate. Right, She's like, oh, I
like a little bit of this, a little bit of this,
one in, a little bit of this.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
She ordered three plates.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
She ordered three main courses. Three main course, the wake
goop bee, the wake goop Bee that's like super you
don't even know what it's called.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
Yeah, it's ridiculous.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
She ordered that. She had lobster. She said lobster, and
I was just like, I was like, I started laughing,
and she was like, what's so funny? And I was like, well,
you're not serious. And then she like she ordered that,
and then she ordered the she can.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
Played also because he had some vegetable woman.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
One site.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
She got meats man, she got a chicken wago, she
got a lobster that has a very complete meal.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
What else did she do? He's the other porter's crazy.
She didn't need even finish it. She didn't need She
had like a fight, and she was like, I've done what?

Speaker 3 (04:26):
Yeah? Yeah? How much did that? How much was all that?
A few hunder bucks?

Speaker 1 (04:31):
Yes, yes, a few hundred. I dropped like seven hundreds
on a first day. Damn, let me bring Marissa. And
I forgot to mention that Marissa here, Marissa, three main courses,
expensive stuff on a first day, and I assume you
didn't offer to pay.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
Lesson If you're inviting me to a restaurant, I feel
like you should be able to pay for the things
that are on the.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
Menu, and the whole menu, everything on the menu, you
in the set. It's exactly what I had to deal with.
She was like, well, I know, I know. If it's
as a come on, you know what you're doing.

Speaker 3 (05:07):
I mean it's you go to an expensive you go
to an expensive restaurant and you ordered, you know, one thing,
maybe I don't know, maybe appetizer, maybe deserve whatever, But
I mean, three main courses, seven hundred dollars on a
first date, mostly because of you, come.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
On, that's not a good look.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
I need to If he wanted, we could have split
the check.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
I didn't even know it was a big deal.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
I mean, this is how I needs to going out.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
Like we go, we.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
Get everything, and we try everything.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
You try everything. Please, it's not a big deal. You
came out, you came out swinging. That was ridiculous. Yeah,
that was crazy.

Speaker 3 (05:40):
I mean you can do whatever you want, Marissa, but
I think you know, for you to be like, oh now,
I should have offered to pay. I think if you're
going to order that much food, you definitely have to
offer to pay and not be surprised if somebody takes
you up on that, especially on a first date. I
mean that's a that's a big investment in someone that
he doesn't even know yet.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
Okay, Okay, I get where you guys are coming from.
It's just like I feel like if you're taking me
to somewhere.

Speaker 1 (06:06):
Like that can be ready to or main courses order
the entire menu to make its pockets hurt.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
It's a party investment. I am worth investment.

Speaker 4 (06:18):
I'm not mad at this though, and the only way okay, well,
the only reason I'm I'm mad at it is because
I'm such an advocate, like you know, especially like if
I was ever be single again, I want I don't
want to be but like I would make men like
drop their money on me because I need to see
if you're if you really are committed to this.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (06:35):
So on a first date, you're going to test me
and make me spend four hundred dollars on main courses
for you? What does that actually say?

Speaker 4 (06:40):
I would at least offer us with the bill, so
I'm not like her.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
But you don't mean that. But you don't mean it.
I don't mean it. Don't say you don't judge him
if he actually just slipped the bill.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
But like this all the time, says like is this
what you usually eat?

Speaker 1 (06:54):
This is how I usually do it?

Speaker 2 (06:55):
Yeah, we go to line my girlfriends.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
Here, I offer I mean word for you to tastings.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
And you didn't want to.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
I thought.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
I didn't know by myself.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
No, no, no no, I could have ordered the sample play.
It could have been cheap. It makes no sense. Damn Well,
normally I don't go broke guys.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
You know, yeah broke?

Speaker 1 (07:30):
Oh man, I mean it sounds like.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
You you that's that's that's very cute.

Speaker 1 (07:36):
I tell you what, you will not go out with broke.
Do it again? Who's got lots of money to take
care of this stuff.

Speaker 3 (07:42):
He wasn't broke until he went. Now he's broke, okay,
so I don't dre no chance at another date. I
don't even have to ask.

Speaker 1 (07:52):
Oh I love you, guys, No, Marissa, I don't know.
I gotta.

Speaker 3 (07:59):
I mean, it's one thing to expect a certain level
of treatment and respect. I'm all for that, but I
don't know that if you were by yourself, you would
have ordered, you know, several hundred dollars worth of food
by yourself, for yourself, of.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
Course, not for myself. We were supposed to be sharing.
But when I go out with my girlfriends, I do.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
We order a lot of food and I pick up
to check, no problem, and I don't complain about it
or ghost anybody. Oh great, yeah, all.

Speaker 3 (08:27):
Right, Well dra still making payments on that, so I
don't think he's interested. But guys, thank you for your time.
Best of luck to both of you. The Entertainer Report
