Speaker 1 (00:00):
I've ever been left waiting by the phone.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
It's the Fred Show. Hi, Brianna, Welcome to the show.
How are you Hi, I'm good. How are you guys doing? Okay?
Speaker 1 (00:10):
Thank you so much for being part of the program
waiting by the phone trying to figure out if you've
been ghosted by this guy Seth. So set us up here.
How did you meet Seth? Tell us about any dates
you've been on and and where things are now.
Speaker 3 (00:21):
Well, I met him on like Tinder, and.
Speaker 4 (00:24):
You know, we just recently went on a date and
we were just planning to meet up for a drink,
but we ended up like staying a long time and
getting pretty drunk, and I mean, I had a great time,
and I just don't know, I just never heard from
him after that, and I'm really bummed about it.
Speaker 1 (00:42):
Okay, so this ding went well though, I mean you
said you drank a lot. I mean, what was the
conversation good? I mean, I don't know, tell us.
Speaker 3 (00:51):
A lot more?
Speaker 2 (00:51):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, no, it was really good.
Speaker 4 (00:56):
Like I had a great time with him. We were
laughing a lot, you know. So I just I really
don't get like what happened.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
Okay, all right, but you left the date, even though
you drank a lot and whatever, you left the date thinking,
I'm gonna hear from this guy again.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
We're gonna go out again.
Speaker 1 (01:11):
You know, you thought the chemistry was good, you were
attracted to him, you felt like he was attracted to you.
I mean all these things. You're actually surprised that he
didn't call you.
Speaker 4 (01:19):
Yeah, exactly, yeah, yeah, okay.
Speaker 1 (01:21):
All right, well that's where we come in. We're gonna
call this guy, seth, get him on the phone. We're
gonna ask some questions on your behalf, and you know,
hopefully we can straighten out whatever's going on. Maybe he's
been busy, or you know, something came up, or who
knows what. But the hope is we can set you
up on another date and pay for that, and then
you know, maybe things work better the second time, or
they work as well or even better. Who knows what
(01:45):
could happen on a second date, right, Brianna.
Speaker 3 (01:47):
Yeah, I'm hoping.
Speaker 1 (01:49):
Okay, all right, well hang on one second. We're gonna
call him, gonna play one song, come back and do it.
Stay there, let's see what's going on. Part two of
Waiting by the phone right after Rose back in two
minutes on the Friend Show.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
No Move Rose. Hey, it's the Fred Show.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
Good morning, Hey, Brianna, welcome back. Let's call this guy Seth.
You guys, you met on Timder, you went on a date.
You thought the date went well. The problem is you
haven't heard from him since the date, and you want
to know why.
Speaker 3 (02:11):
Yeah, I mean, I don't get I thought we had
a good time.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
All right, We're gonna call him now, good luck. Hello.
Hi's is Seth?
Speaker 1 (02:23):
Ah?
Speaker 2 (02:23):
Yes, Seth, good morning. My name is Fred.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
I'm calling from the Fred Show, the morning radio show,
and I have to tell you that we are on
the radio right now, and I would need your permission
to continue with the call.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
Said, okay, if we chat for just a second. Oh yeah,
that's okay. What's up?
Speaker 1 (02:36):
Okay, Well, thank you. We're calling on behalf of a
woman named Brianna. I guess you met on Timder and
you recently went on a date with her. Do you
remember her?
Speaker 3 (02:45):
Man?
Speaker 2 (02:45):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (02:46):
Yeah, okay, Well, she called us and told us that
she had a great time on the date. She admitted
that you guys went for drinks and that you had
a lot of drinks. But the date, when she said
it went for a while, so that's usually a pretty
good sign. But she also says that she hasn't heard
from you.
Speaker 2 (02:59):
Say, is the date? So what happened?
Speaker 5 (03:03):
Yeah, so it started out all right, you know, Breannes,
she's really pretty, things are going well. But our day
was the Saturday night that they took away TikTok and.
Speaker 2 (03:15):
Oh, she just she's acting like a crack addict. You
need another head, you know, like, I know, did.
Speaker 5 (03:23):
Think another way to describe it is just like, you know,
she checked her phone at one point and she just screamed.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
I honestly thought somebody had died. But yes, TikTok just
wasn't working on her phone.
Speaker 5 (03:35):
Anymore, you know, And I'm like, wait, why is she
even checking TikTok during the day?
Speaker 2 (03:40):
Is this not going the way I thought it was.
Then all of a sudden, she's crying.
Speaker 5 (03:44):
She's angry, you know. It's like, Okay, you were sitting
here at dinner and I'm just like, all of a sudden,
there's like she's going through these emotions, and I'm I've
I never had TikTok really, I've never really been on
it too much, so it's not.
Speaker 1 (04:01):
If I'm on a date with someone, they look at
their phone start crying. I'm assuming that some terrible things
just happened. And that's what happened, okay, like something like
an actually an actual loss, like a death.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
Again, it's a human being. There was a whole funeral.
Intes see it. Thank you.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
I mean, look, I had the same level of shock
when I looked at TikTok and it like started, it
started like to act up and I'm like, uh oh.
And then I got that thing and I was like
uh oh, But I wasn't. I didn't start crying. I
was like, what am I going to do with the
fourteen hours a day I just got back? But I wasn't.
I wasn't crying about it. If a woman cries on
a first date, something very bad has happened. Actually, not
(04:45):
the loss of an app. That's exactly all right.
Speaker 2 (04:49):
Let me. I forgot to mention that Brianna is here.
Speaker 1 (04:51):
I got so tired up in this story and I'm
so forgetful, but Brianna is here. Brianna, you cried on
the date, but you didn't mention that, And you cried
on the date over TikTok.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
You didn't mention that either.
Speaker 3 (05:00):
See the thing is like TikTok is a huge part
of my life, and I was really upset, you know, I.
Speaker 1 (05:07):
Mean, okay, but can you understand why this guy might
be like thinking that was an overreaction?
Speaker 3 (05:13):
No, I mean it's just you know, like, I'm sure
I'm not the only one that freaked out, like it
was really gone.
Speaker 2 (05:24):
It was really gone.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
But I think if I if a woman cried, or
a man or whomever on a date that I'm on, whatever,
whatever kind of date I'm on, well, I'm not trying. No,
I'm just not I'm not limiting you know this scenario.
If I'm on a date and someone cries, and in
this case for me, it would be a woman, okay,
and I say, what are you crying about? And she
what are you? What are you hysterically crying about? And
(05:45):
she said the loss of TikTok. I think I might say,
well that seems aggressive.
Speaker 6 (05:54):
Yes, oh my god, where is the compassion? Right, where's
the humanity?
Speaker 2 (05:59):
We need support? Yes these times?
Speaker 6 (06:01):
Okay, girl, this is a safe space here between Jason
and I. And you were totally fine to cry over
your act because you guys men cry when their favorite.
Speaker 2 (06:12):
Football team loses.
Speaker 6 (06:13):
I don't know if you Okay, we have been cut
off and you can't get to your favorite shows.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
People break down from it.
Speaker 1 (06:19):
I guess, so I ges my issue isn't the crying.
It's the crying over that because a lot of people
were shot. Kiki, are you okay?
Speaker 5 (06:27):
No?
Speaker 2 (06:27):
All right, you're bad for this woman? Okay, Well how
about this then, Seth.
Speaker 1 (06:31):
She she had this visual reaction, she was shocked, you know.
She I don't know, she like a lot of people,
I will say this, I guess I didn't really think
it would like really really go away. So I wasn't
paying much attention to where to find certain creators elsewhere.
So there was part of me that did feel a
bit of a loss because I was like, well, where
am I going to find these people? And is it
going to be the same, you know, because I don't know.
(06:53):
I see there's certain creators. I see their videos every day,
so I get that, but I don't know that I
would start crying. And I have no problem with crying.
But let's say that she, you know, had a big
reaction to this, Seth. But you did sit there with
her for a while, so would you consider another date?
Speaker 2 (07:08):
Maybe?
Speaker 1 (07:09):
Now TikTok's back. We should be okay. I don't think like, uh,
you know, aol is going anywhere or whatever. There's YouTube
or something on the date, so she should be fine.
We'll pay for it and we'll try it again. Yeah,
you know, that's that's all fair.
Speaker 5 (07:22):
I think, yeah, really one time saying I think, yeah,
she's nice and pretty.
Speaker 2 (07:27):
You know, I'll go on another date. This is wonderful.
Speaker 1 (07:30):
I'm a little surprised, but okay, so you know what,
she had a big reaction. Everything is going to be okay,
and you want to go out with her again, Brianna,
you hear that we got another date going. That's great, Okay, good,
so we'll get all your in. This is not very common.
I think it's happened only a handful of times. I
frankly did not my spidy senses did not see it
happening here. But we're gonna pay for another date, and
(07:52):
then we're gonna follow up with you in a few
days and see how that date went, and hopefully that
was just a one time deal and everything's fine. Okay,
all right, you guys hang out one second. The entertainmer
report the biggest stories of the day and the fun
fact all on the way next back in three minutes
on the Fred Show.
