Speaker 3 (00:10):
Ah, yeah, I'm good.
Speaker 1 (00:13):
Things could be better now.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
You know. I love it when we have an honest
can call up here because a lot of times what
happens is I'll go, you know, you think you're being ghosted.
That's what this whole thing is about. We're trying to
forget if you've been ghosted, and I'll say, hey, what's
going on? How you doing?
Speaker 1 (00:25):
I'm great?
Speaker 2 (00:26):
Well, well you're not great. You thought you were being ghosted.
Now this guy is going through it. Justin what happened?
Explain to us what's going on?
Speaker 3 (00:32):
Okay, Yeah, So I went on two really good days
with this girl, Kelly, and I reach out to plan
another date, but she obviously is acting, you know, she's
just not responding. But I'll tell you.
Speaker 4 (00:47):
That the dates we went on, it was like one
I just took her out to dinner and literally we
had the most amazing time talking about all that we
have so many different things in com then just like
thing keep you on, socials and also things they do
like in real life.
Speaker 3 (01:05):
And then the other the other day I took her
out boweling and super super fun.
Speaker 4 (01:12):
Not to not to get too far into that.
Speaker 3 (01:14):
Either, because like I just don't get what happened, because now.
Speaker 4 (01:19):
She's just completely cold and stop responding, Like she kind
of like went from a couple of messages to no
messages at all.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
Okay, So I just want to be clear.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
You went on two dates and and you're really honestly
looking back on these days like this was a great time.
Everything kind of flowed, the conversation was good. You know that,
you know there was chemistry. You really like this girl,
and you know, I think most people know what that's
like to meet someone, especially on the dating apps. I
say this all the time, but like it's hard because
it's kind of hard to hook them and then because
(01:50):
there's a lot of competition, right and then you go
out with them and to also have connection and have
a good time and all this stuff, it can be difficult.
So you're disappointed. You have no idea why this woman's
not calling you, and you want us to help you exactly.
All right, We're gonna play one song come back, We'll
call Kelly, see if we can get her on the phone.
We'll ask these questions and hopefully straighten this out and
set you guys up on a third date in this
(02:11):
case and pay for it.
Speaker 1 (02:13):
Okay, sounds good.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
Let's see what's going on Part two of waiting by
the phone after Sabrina Carpenter back in two minutes on
the Frend Show. Brina Carpenter is the French Show on
the radio on the iHeart app live and anytime search

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Hey, justin? Yeah, all right, welcome back. Let's call Kelly.
You guys went on two dates.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
You thought both went really well, except after the second dator.
Since the second date, I should say, you haven't been
able to get a hold of her. You've called her,
you've texted whatever, she's not responding. You want to know why? Yep, okay,
let's call her now. Good luck?
Speaker 3 (02:42):
All right, thank you?
Speaker 2 (02:50):
Hello hisus Kelly, Hi, Kelly, good morning.
Speaker 1 (02:55):
My name is Fred.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
I'm calling from the Fred Show, the Morning radio show,
and I have to tell you to We are on
the radio right now, and I would need your permission
to continue with the call. Can we chat for just
a second on the air.
Speaker 1 (03:05):
Would you buy?
Speaker 5 (03:06):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (03:06):
That's so cool?
Speaker 1 (03:07):
Oh good, all right.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
That's usually not the reaction that we get, but well,
thank you, Kelly, I'll get right to it. We're calling
on behalf of a guy, I guess. So you went
out a couple of dates with his name is Justin.
Do you remember going out with Justin? Oh? Yeah, okay,
the tone change a little bit there, It's like, oh,
this is cool, and then it's like, oh, yeah, what
happened with this guy Justin? Because he called us and
(03:29):
had a lot of nice things to say about you.
He said that he thought that the dates that you
went on went really well, except he can't get a
hold of you now and he wants to know why.
Speaker 6 (03:38):
That was the weirdest Okay, I mean yeah, like we
did go on to good dates and he seemed like cool,
but like after that, he stopped asking me out trying
to make plans. When I would ask him, he was
like busy, which, you know, whatever. But then he asked
(04:01):
me if I want to go out on New Year's
and I'm like, why haven't you been communicating with me
for literally a month? And he said he didn't want
to worry about holiday stuff or buying me a Christmas prelest.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
Oh no, right.
Speaker 7 (04:19):
And so like I thought he was joking because it's
ridiculous and he was not, and like, I want to
be really clear, we were not supposed to exchange gifts.
It was like obviously way too early. But like he
just like sounded cheap and gross and like just you know, wow.
Speaker 2 (04:37):
So these dudes like because he just went on and
on about how great you were and how much funn
he had. And I don't believe he mentioned that he
waited months to call you after for a third date?
Speaker 1 (04:49):
Go ahead?
Speaker 6 (04:50):
Does anything?
Speaker 7 (04:51):
He just like he like didn't say like, hey, let's
take a break after the holidays. Nothing.
Speaker 6 (04:55):
He just completely ignored me.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
I was like, it was just off.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
Wow, let me bring Justin into this. I forgot to
mention that he is here, Kelly. I'm sorry. I'm very forgetful. Yeah,
I know, I forget sometimes. Justin what are you doing?
You didn't call her for a month because you didn't
want to have to buy her a Christmas present?
Speaker 3 (05:15):
It wasn't I didn't think it was really the month.
Speaker 5 (05:17):
I mean, I was just family.
Speaker 3 (05:23):
I told you though.
Speaker 5 (05:24):
It was like a family thing and it was a
holidays thing. So I just didn't, like, I thought you
had your plans already.
Speaker 7 (05:30):
You didn't you just I would be like, do you
want to hang out?
Speaker 2 (05:32):
And you not respond, So you ignored her on purpose
so you didn't have to buy her a Christmas present.
But then you call her after Christmas thinking a month
later that she's still going to be interested.
Speaker 1 (05:42):
I mean, we.
Speaker 5 (05:44):
Were just I was just trying to make sure that
I wasn't interrupting her plans, like, because everybody makes kind
of plans, maybe even months before.
Speaker 3 (05:53):
So I was just, what, yeah, but you.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
Literally told her that's not what you were doing? What right?
Speaker 2 (06:01):
No you said didn't you say to her? Because she
just told us and you you were you heard it?
Did you not just say to her that?
Speaker 7 (06:07):
Or?
Speaker 3 (06:08):
I mean I just thought I was being honest, like
I didn't.
Speaker 5 (06:10):
Want to worry about holidays stuff you know, bothers for
during the holidays, and I mean the Christmas gift thing.
Speaker 3 (06:16):
I was just being honest. I was like, I don't know,
I just kind of said that.
Speaker 1 (06:20):
But and my thing is like, you were.
Speaker 6 (06:22):
Only honest when I like asked you, and before.
Speaker 7 (06:26):
That, rather than the game of it, you blew me
off for literally a whole month.
Speaker 2 (06:29):
Well and by the way, okay, so I was trying
to give you the benefit of the doubt, like when
you first said I don't want to bother her during
the holidays. But that's kind of for her to decide,
Like you went on two dates. You keep things moving.
If she gets busy with holiday parties or family or whatever,
then she tells you that. But then to go on
top of it and say I didn't have to want
to have to buy you a present. I mean, what
are you doing now?
Speaker 1 (06:48):
Times are hard, right, I mean I asked you for
New Year's but you ghosted her for a month.
Speaker 2 (06:55):
Yeah, and no one is going to go to New
Year's with a dude who got Now who just ghosted
somebody for a month?
Speaker 1 (07:00):
I'll circle back year. New Year's is like.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
That's a that's a prime evening, Like that's that's you spend.
You spend that with an A lister. Yes, yeah, we ain't.
We ain't slumming on New Year's Eve. If we're together
on New Year's Eve, something is happening.
Speaker 1 (07:18):
Yeah right, No, we're not. We're not going to the
bench on on New Year's E's No, we're not. No,
we're not. We're going for the number one on our
list on New Year's Eve. You're looking at the instide
of your eyelids on New Year's Eve. That's my number one.
Speaker 2 (07:31):
My number one is me and hung over the next
day and not wasting time. I don't have a number
one right now, right so, right now, I don't so anything.
So you can't just pop up out of nowhere and
be like, hey, it's my birthday tomorrow, you know, or
pop up and be like hey it's Valentine's Day after
a month and expect that she's gonna pay you any
mind exactly.
Speaker 5 (07:51):
I mean, I just I mean, I thought it was
a special night, so I was like, I wanted to
spend it with you.
Speaker 1 (07:56):
So but you didn't want to.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
Buy her Christmas, resided her for a month.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
I didn't. I wrote things here and there.
Speaker 6 (08:03):
So I mean, oh my god.
Speaker 7 (08:05):
You're so lame. Get me out of here, me girl.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
I I yeah, it was I saying I'm a savings justin,
get justin. This doesn't make any sense, man, Like you
had it it was going great and then you got cheap.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
What would it have taken fifty bucks? Anything?
Speaker 2 (08:26):
Like?
Speaker 1 (08:26):
No one is expecting it.
Speaker 7 (08:28):
So clear nobody needed to buy anybody a present. You
just had to be like, hey, I'm going to be
with family for the next month. Let's just pause and
maybe russ were like New York.
Speaker 5 (08:37):
Well, then I'll just I mean, so you don't do
you want to go out on another day.
Speaker 6 (08:42):
Or like I want to go out with you?
Speaker 5 (08:45):
Bro?
Speaker 2 (08:46):
Oh god, all right, this is your very name. You
want to talk about fumbling the bag, man? I mean
it would have taken so little effort. I mean no
one was expecting like a you know, a designer bag
or something from the person they just met. I mean,
who knows, who knows what could have happened? You fumbled.
Speaker 3 (09:07):
I guess so, And now you.
Speaker 1 (09:09):
Want to go on?
Speaker 2 (09:09):
Now, okay, come on, after this call? Do you really think,
I mean, how un self aware are you?
Speaker 1 (09:14):
Do you mean kind?
Speaker 2 (09:15):
I'm sorry, I don't mean to you messed up man,
and I don't know why you're asking around now.
Speaker 1 (09:20):
I'm sorry, I mean to be to you. I thank you.
Speaker 3 (09:23):
I mean I get it, thank you so much.
Speaker 2 (09:26):
Okay, thank God, all right, Kelly. But I at the
same time, you can't act this way. Justin you cannot
do this. And Kelly, I want to say thank you
for answering the phone, and I assume you're not interested
in the third date.
Speaker 1 (09:37):
We'll pay for it, he did try.
Speaker 7 (09:38):
Oh yeah, because you paying for it will definitely make
all the difference for me.
Speaker 1 (09:42):
That's a good point. That's a good point. You want
you want a free date?
Speaker 2 (09:46):
Now? On top, you wanted me to call this woman
for you after a month and paid. No, you're right
never now I we'll go back to clownen on this guy.
Speaker 1 (09:52):
Forget him.
Speaker 2 (09:53):
