Speaker 1 (00:02):
Ever been left waiting by the phone. It's the Fred Show. Charlotte,
Good morning, Welcome to the program. How are you.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
I'm good, How are you doing?

Speaker 1 (00:11):
Okay? What's going on with this guy? Eric? In waiting
by the phone? Trying to figure out if maybe you've
been ghosted? So I set us up with all the
backstory here. How did you guys meet? Tell us about
any dates that you've been on and why you think
you're being ghosted.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Okay, so we've actually we've been on one date, but
we met at a bar. He was super fun, super nice.
We were flirting a lot. He ended up buying me
a drink, asking my number, and we went out on
a date a few days later, and it was I mean,
it was a really great time. There's really nothing, you know,
more sure avgant than that. But I had a lot
of fun and I just wanted to go out again.

(00:45):
And you know, I've been texting him and nothing. I'd
get nothing back, and I just don't really know what happened.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
Yeah, So, Charlie, you guys met in person, so you
were able to gauge a little bit of chemistry. You
saw what each other looked like. I mean, we've heard
about all kinds of different things happening. But when you
meet someone on the apps, which a lot of people do,
there's a lot that you don't know. You don't know
if they look the same in person, you don't know
how the chemistry is going to go to the conversation.
But you kind of knew that going into the date,
So that's not it. It wasn't like, you know, I

(01:12):
don't know, you're not as advertised, or he wasn't as advertised.
You already knew. So then you go on this date
and you felt like it went really well. The conversation
was good, everything kind of flowed.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
Yeah, and of course, like you know, your anxiety starts
to go and you're like, did I say something like?

Speaker 2 (01:26):
Did I do something like?

Speaker 3 (01:28):
But he literally is not answering.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
So I really don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
But I mean, I had no signs that it was
going south at all. I thought it was really fun,
and so I just I really don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
All right, Well, let's call Eric now, good luck Charlotte. Thanks, Hello,
Hi is this Eric? Yes, Eric, good morning. My name
is Fred. I'm calling for the Fred's Show, the morning
radio Show. The whole crew is here and I have
to tell you that we are on the radio right
now and I would need your permission to continue with

(01:59):
the Is that okay? If we chat for a couple
of minutes, you can hang up anytime?

Speaker 4 (02:04):
Sure, for sure.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
I don't have a ton of time, but yeah, it's fine. Okay,
Well we'll try and make it quick. We're calling on
behalf of a woman who I guess you met at
a bar and went on a date with recently. Her
name is Charlotte. Do you remember Charlotte?

Speaker 4 (02:15):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (02:16):
I do. Okay, So she called us and told us
that she had met you out and you guys exchanged
numbers and she liked you, and then you went on
a date that she thought went well. But now she
can't get a hold of you. You haven't called her,
I guess, or responded to her. So she kind of
wants to know why what's going on.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
I just I just don't think it's a good idea,
And I don't think we're a match.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
You don't think that you guys are a match? Why though?
I mean, do you mind if I ask you know,
for a little more.

Speaker 4 (02:43):
I mean, she's yeah, you know, she's great, she's great.
The date it was fun, but when I took her
home afterwards, like to say goodbye. She was like, hey,
come inside, and I go inside, and she introduced me
to her roommate, and I realized, like, oh, I know her,
Like her roommate is someone I actually dated for a

(03:05):
little while.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
A while.

Speaker 4 (03:07):
Oh yeah. I just think it's kind of weird, and
so going through with that, it's just going to be complicated,
and I think it's just not a good idea.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Okay, I've got to mention that Charlotte is here. I'm
very forgetful about these matters. Charlotte, did your roommate say
anything to you about dating Eric or did she keep
that to herself?

Speaker 3 (03:28):
No, not at all, Like she didn't tell me.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
That's so weird.

Speaker 3 (03:31):
No, she didn't tell me anything. And even after you left,
she didn't tell me anything.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
Oh wow, wow boy, because you would think that she
would be like, hey, heads up, I know that guy.
But for some reason, she didn't say anything. Why wouldn't
she say anything? Eric, I mean, did it end poorly?
Are you weird? Is she weird? Is it weirdness?

Speaker 4 (03:53):
I don't. I don't think so. I just think it's
I don't know why she didn't say anything. Maybe Yeah, it's.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
Weird she's still in love with this guy?

Speaker 3 (04:02):
Well, how did you get there? Why wouldn't you say
it into your room?

Speaker 4 (04:07):
I'd be like, hey, that that I dated that guy,
or hey he's no good But you don't say anything.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
That kind of means, like, I mean, she might still
be interested in this dude. How long feelings came back
when he walked through the door? Eric, How long did
you date Charlotte's roommate?

Speaker 4 (04:21):
Oh, like a couple of months.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
I mean that's long enough to say something. Is it
been like a date or a hookup or something like that.

Speaker 4 (04:28):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
I would probably still tell my roommate, but at the
same time, I wouldn't make a big deal out of
it because there wasn't a whole lot to it. But
I mean, a couple of months is long enough that
this person has an impression of you and feelings could
have been developed, So I would think. I think it's
a little sus that the roommate, Charlotte, your roomate, Charlotte's
not saying anything to you about it.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
Yeah, that is really weird that she never said anything.
I feel like I have to call her.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
Yeah, yeah, you might want to ask that question. So
here's the thing here. Well, yeah, so he can move
in too. Let's say let's say Eric that she calls
and talks to her roommate and the roommate was, God,
I don't want to make it weird, and it has a
good explanation as to why she didn't sort of disclose
this and they strained it out amongst them. Then would

(05:11):
you be okay going out with Charlotte again? Like if
they're okay with it.

Speaker 4 (05:14):
Uh, it has to be pretty like, yes, it's totally fine,
one hundred percent. I don't want it to be too weird,
but that would sort of be up to Charlotte after
she talks to her.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
Okay, So yeah, you're not harboring any because my first
thought was, you know, you don't want to go out
with her again because you still like the roommate, So
you're not harboring any sort of lingering feelings.

Speaker 4 (05:33):
Then no, no, no, we tripped apart. Whether or not
she feels a different way, I don't know, but you
know that was it just didn't happen all right.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
So Rufio's theory is that the roommate still has feelings,
but we can figure this out.

Speaker 4 (05:45):
Quickly.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
So Charlotte, why don't you guys sort that out and
then and then Eric, Charlotte can call you again if
they work it out.

Speaker 4 (05:52):
Yeah, I mean that would be great. I like you, Charlotte.
I just don't want it to be weird and complicate
your life. Well, you know, my roommate's kind of a kind.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
Of a whole bag.

Speaker 3 (06:01):
Whoa, I don't kind of see what's going on there.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
Oh did you know, Eric, did you know that her
roommate was uh, and I call kind of a whole bag?

Speaker 2 (06:09):
I did not, But.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
Okay, so then now my question is, Hrolatt, does he
give you pause? Like, do you now not want to
go out with him? Because they went out?

Speaker 2 (06:20):
You know, it's.

Speaker 3 (06:21):
Definitely news that I'm gonna have to like shit and
think about for a little bit.

Speaker 4 (06:27):
I didn't want to.

Speaker 3 (06:28):
I do want to talk to her though, and kind
of just see what the situation was, why she didn't
call me, or I just tell me that.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
This something I don't know. Yeah, there's something that's something
I don't I don't like about this, but I don't
like you.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
He gotta move on to the next friend in a group,
just smashing.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
Every many whole bag friends, you got right one and two. Okay, look,
I don't know you guys. You often worked this out.
I'm confused. This is like a rap This is like
the rap battle we got break in here somewhere at
twenty one seven.

Speaker 4 (07:05):
I don't like us.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
We all need to sort this out, and I wish
you guys best, both, the best of luck. I'm flustered
myself here. I really don't know Obi over there. Jesus,
good luck, guys.

Speaker 4 (07:20):
Thanks
