(00:00):
Yeah, they talk about it again. They talk better than they said.
These are the radio blogs on theFriend Show. It's like running in our
diaries, except we stayed I'm allowed. We call the blogs Jason Brown's got
one go, Thank you, dearblogs. So I need advice on like
how to take better care of yourselfbecause I don't do a good job of
that. Um, so you're talkingto me. I' you're talking to me.

(00:25):
You're talking. I guess you areabout me. We're talking about me,
from me, from me to me, about me? Who am I
talking inside? I don't know?Okay, got Jason Brown? Got it.
That's like when you say I havea friend who and then you screw
up the pronoun I have a friendwho? But then when I I mean
my friend, Yeah, this isall about my friend. No, this
is about me. This is meaccepting it. I'm not a good friend

(00:48):
to myself. Okay. So Idid not go to the dentist for nine
years, and I paid for that, right, like years of like dental
work and I had to go toa specialists and like all this crap.
Right, Well, like now I'mdoing an even worse job of going to
the doctor, right, So wehave to go to like our yearly physical,

(01:08):
which I did, and when Iwent the last time, there was
like some weird stuff in my blood, so I went again to like get
it pulled. So I actually likecommitted went to the follow ups, got
my blood pulled or sucked out whateversounds like something else there, you go
home. This sounds like one ofthose things I would want to go.

(01:36):
I think I want to go,I don't experience. So whatever they did
and I was supposed to go backso they could read it and like tell
me, well, I blew itoff. And then I even like rescheduled
twice blew it blew both of thoseappointments off again because I'm either busy or
I'm too tired or I can alwayslike come up with an excuse. So
it's like how do I motivate myselfbecause it seems like such an easy thing,

(01:57):
like Okay, I need to likego like they say there's an issue
and need to like talk about andfigure out what. I don't know if
it's like denial, I don't wantthere to be an issue, or I'm
just lazy or I'm just scared, like I don't know what it is,
but I need to like hold myselfaccountable. It's like, how do you
guys do that? Give me sometips because I don't freaking know what do
you do? Well? I'm withyou. So I have a phobia,
as I think, if you've beenlistening, then you know that I'm afraid

(02:21):
of the doctor and I'm conditioning.I think because when I was a kid,
I had meningitis lost of hearing inmy left ear, and for whatever
reason, every time I walk intoa medical facility, whether it's for me
or for somebody else, I justget like this visceral reaction sweat and my
heart blood pressure goes a way atmy heartbeat. But you just, I
think, you just have to Youhave to bribe yourself. You have to
you have to reward yourself somehow, like like my mom usedly when I was

(02:44):
a kid, should be like,if you go to the doctor and you
don't complain, buy you a toyor something. So buy yourself a toy.
That's a good idea, Like beingme for every doctor's appointment I go,
I can buy myself a new vinyl. Yeah, that's a good idea.
I think. Once you go andthey don't give you bad news,
then it like builds confidence a littlebit. And plus, if you have
a rapport with your doctor, likeand you obviously don't have one because you
don't know who that doctor is,find one, right, But if you

(03:07):
have a rapport, then I thinkit's a little easier too. This is
coming from a guy that, likeI will not go to the doctor at
all costs. I also have thetheory that if I don't know I'm messed
up, then it won't hurt me, right, which that doesn't really work.
Yeah, that's how I feel too, And it doesn't help that Mike
is the same way. Like hewon't he will like cut his finger at
work toil like the lowest possible likething. He will not go get stitches

(03:30):
like turn screen like yes, literally, and then be like, oh there's
a problem, Like no, likeobviously there's a problem, you know,
Like, so we're turn screen. We're feeding off each other, which is
really bad too. So I recommendone of you go to the doctor,
right, because there's suddenly wrong withone of you. Yeah, I think
he was supposed to be in charge. I thought you were in charge of
you guys. But I thought Jasonwas doing better after But clearly there's still

(03:55):
a problem there, and Jason, just know those nice ladies at the doctor's
office are judging you every time youcancel an appointment. I feel so bad
because I I really like want tomake people's time important and I hate doing
that. So oh, I don'tknow. Yeah, there's a little red
mark. Buy yourself a new recordevery time they pull on you at the doctor's off
