Welcome to Buns and Banter, apodcast by work Busties for work Busties.
Hey, I'm Lauren and I'm Ali. We're both morning show hosts for iHeartMedia.
We're both millennials, and we're bothtrying to figure out how to build
the live sweet dream about dating, marriage, career, career, and being
a mom, how to get througha week without crying. Welcome to Buns

(00:27):
and Banter. We're glad you're here. I love that. I love that
he loves it energy. The energyKid's just a hype machine walking around.
I love that for him. Yeah, he's so good at it because it
would be a rough if it werethe other way. And he hated going

(00:49):
to Yeah school. Yeah, soI'm glad that he loves it at private
school. No, he does. He'll be so excited for Catholic Schools Week
dressed like a Saint Day. Somekids go hardcore too. I remember doing
pick up last year and I waslike, oh, is it terrible that
I'm like, wait, shouldn't shouldn'tthis be like Catholic Schools Week? Shouldn't

(01:11):
it be during like Easters? Itmakes sense, well, you know what,
it's leading up to Lent though,oh, okay, Lent's coming.
I think like the twelfth. Ithink it's the day after the Super Bowl.
I'll oh, get your sins outnow, because we are in repent
period for the next forty Yeah.Yeah, they'll learn about that. But

(01:33):
it's fun. It's it's great.My kid's going to private school, paying
a good chunk, but it's worthit, I guess. Yeah, so
let's talk about let's talk about hishomework, because this is just like,
yeah, it's so cute. Butalso I would be like, uh,
oh, so I have to admit. So my husband and I are both

(01:56):
Catholic, baptized all the sacraments, and my kids have not gotten baptized yet.
You know, when we got overhere to West Michigan, it just
did feel like the churches were alittle different than how I grew up in
Lansing, and we were kind oftrying to find our community, if you
will. So Will's not baptized yet. We planned on it. He's not
baptized yet, So it's homework they'redoing. He's six, he's six,

(02:21):
he's five, he's five. We'regonna do it probably before six. He's
five. Okay, I mean,like I don't care no, I know,
I just feel I feel really bad, Like there's the Catholic guilt that
comes in, right, we're sogood at it. I don't have it.
I was raised Methodist, am baptizeda confirmed but well, no purgatory
for this one. So we getthis email from his teacher, and I'm

(02:44):
automatically uncomfortable because I'm like, ohdarn it. I knew we were gonna
have to face this at some point, Like it makes sense that that's what
they would talk about and learn aboutbecause he's going to a Catholic school.
So I had to like fire backan email. It's like, oh,
you know, is there an alternativeidea? And she was so kind,
she said, there's a few otherparents that are doing this as well,
instead of having him, you know, find pictures from his baptism and talk

(03:06):
about the story. Why what areyou supposed to do when you're like an
infant anyway, draw what you thinkyour baptism would look like? Oh,
when you whenever you do get baptized, if you get baptized, what do
you think? Oh? Will wasso stoked, so stoked because I told
him so. I told him.We worked on it the other night and
I said draw your baptism. Hegoes, oh, I already know what
I'm gonna do. I'm gonna drawmyself in the River Jordan next to Jesus.

(03:30):
I was like, oh, weare feeling some kind of way about
our soul. Oh he's think he'sgot a he's got Jesus got flug.
He's got an idea though, thatthat's gonna be his baptism. Yep.
And he was all like, hedrew Jesus, he drew Saint John the
Baptist, that's he was there, blessing him, dunkan him. Oh what

(03:51):
they will be? They were thewhole thing. And I was like,
oh, man, okay, Imean shoot for the stars. Yeahcause even
if you missed, you land onthe moon is like really cliche. A
lot of kids get a spring breaktrip their senior year, Will gets a
baptism trip to the River Jordan, which I don't know. The geographical things

(04:15):
have changed so much in world historysince biblical times? Is it not in
Jordan? I don't. I don'tknow. Oh, I mean I I
would think. So, you knowwhat, let's get to the Google machine.
Let's get to the Google. Youlearn something every time you listen to
buns how I thought this podcast wasgonna go and that you know, that's
really the draw of buns and banteris that you just really never know.

(04:39):
That is the second thing asked onGoogle. So it's not just us,
it's a Jordan. It's a Jordan. Well it runs along the border between
oh Jordan and the West Bank. That's like a it's got some violence currently
done that I don't know Israel insouthwestern Syria. You're definitely gonna need passport,
yep, I don't know. Maybewe'll go to the River Jordan.

(05:00):
Okay, so they work out somesome things, Okay, but maybe we
just like recreate it. We canlook at Google photos, right mm hmm.
Yeah, it's gonna be great.I just need a Yeah. He's
all he's gonna care about is beingin some great water with Jesus. You
know this. I think that morekids should. I mean baptize your kids
whenever you want. But I dolike the idea of the child being a

(05:23):
little bit older when they get baptizedtoo, just from like the chaos aspect,
Like I want to know what questionsthey're gonna ask, and like with
a baby, you don't really havea choice, like you're getting dunked or
you're getting like you're getting some wateron the you know, like a baby.
You don't know what's going on.The worst it can happen is they
cry. I feel like this theopera could be gold. I really thought

(05:45):
you were gonna go with. Ijust think it's really great that they can
learn what's happening and make the decision. You're like, I'm here for the
show. Yeah, because he drewhis picture and he's getting he's getting really
good at people, like he drawsreally good people now. And then there
was this little well, it lookedlike a little brown d right up in

(06:05):
the corner of the picture beyond okay, an atomical part. Yeah, And
I was like, buddy, whatis that. He goes, obviously that's
the dove, the dove, Like, yeah, it's something. It's the
other d word, the dove.So he had the dove, and he
drew the Holy Spirit similarly. Sothat went to school today and maybe hung

(06:28):
up in the hallway. Amazing.I'm proud of it, proud of him.
He's such a good little man, what a good little soul. And
you made your debut last night. We have to talk about Lauren's segue into
sports broadcasting. I'm doing this forus because I think we would be really
great at sports broadcasting. And Iwant to shout out Alan, one of

(06:49):
our big ones, because he saidthat same thing to me. He said,
Oh my gosh, I would loveto see you and Ali doing more
with sports. And I'm loved it, Oh my gosh. In West Michigan,
we have our very first women's provolleyball team, the Grand Rapids Rise.
So cool it is, and lastnight was just it was like onspiring.

(07:12):
I guess that's a really cliche thingto say, but the amount of
like little girls there that were justeyes wide open, jaw on the floor
because they've never gotten to see somethinglike this at a professional level. Yes,
And there were so many women there, like, our coach is a
woman. Yep. They're hearing aPA announcer that's a woman, the color
color commentary is a woman. Yes. And then there were like a ton

(07:35):
of guys there that were just sointo the action. They'd made signs.
There were people there Kathy's crew orsomething like that for coach coach Kathy.
It was so cool and I wasso scared for weeks. Oh my god,
I can do you, like everysingle day, just ready to absolutely

(07:55):
soil my pants over this. It'snothing I've ever done before. So the
game was last night at seven o'clock, which, to be honest with you,
is a little past my bad time. So I didn't make it out,
but I do plan to go tosome games in the future. I
had to come out in a games. I had a couple of friends go
last night. Oh yeah, thatsaid it was an absolute riot, and
they also said that it was apacked house. It was sold out.

(08:18):
That's I love it. I loveit. And then there were these moments
so before doors opened, so it'sjust like the team and you know,
the crew there, one of theplayer's moms came and like started and the
only reason I like could eavesdrop isbecause they were right behind me. But
it was so sweet. She wasjust like, I'm sorry, I didn't

(08:39):
think I would do this. I'mjust so proud of you, Like,
I can't believe I'm finally seeing youlike able to realize your dream and do
this. And then the other thingthat's so remarkable to me is how many
of these women are moms. OO, oh my gosh. And recent
moms. I had babies maybe ayear and a half ago. Now in

(09:00):
Spandex smashing a volleyball into someone's face. It's incredible. And so we were
sitting there and one of the players, her husband or partner walked in with
their little girl, who is sostink and cute. I saw at the
scrimmage last week and she sees acrossthe cornhills. Oh my god, I
forgot to give her dinner, didn'tI hold on, hold on, leave's
practice to go and like get somestuff from concessions for her, like goes

(09:24):
from professional volleyball player into mo mode, back into professional volleyball player. And
I just think that is such acool example of something to see. Yeah,
it's amazing. I love it that. It was so cool. I
was watching some of the videos onthe Rise social media gr Rise if you
want to follow them online, andyou should, and it was just like

(09:46):
Little Mike sessions where they talk abouttheir favorite TV show or the music that
they listen to. And there aresome country music fans on the Rise,
which I'm super excited about. Weshould hang out ladies. Also, a
lot of them their favorite shows arelike oh, Gossip Girl, Girl or
one Tree Hill and I'm like, these are my people, Yeah, these
are my people, yes, andjust they're dominating. It was so I

(10:11):
don't know, it's just we're bothvery female empowered and to see just a
sport at a professional level and menwith their jaws on the floor over that
level of play, they are sofrickin' good. I think it's time for
professional I mean, I think ithas been time for professional sports for women

(10:35):
to become more of an event wherethey're attended and they're watched and they're like
people are fangirling out. And Ithink we've sort of seen that with like
college sports for sure, and we'redefinitely getting there, like a lot of
like women's basketball, there are alot of celebrities now that attend WNBA games

(10:56):
and like that. I just feellike is one of the dominoes that needs
to fall, Like once the celebritiesstart going and people are like, oh,
this is like cool now to goto these It's always been cool but
welcome right Like it's having a bigmoment right now, and I love that
this is a piece of it.It is. I was just so stoked
to see every seat and like nobodygetting up. It was we have like

(11:20):
a deal that we run for someof our minor league teams here, two
dollars beers, two dollar dogs.Yeah, oh did they do that?
They did it last night. Epic, but like people would run really quick,
like during a break. Otherwise theywere in their seats because they did
not want to miss a second.Well, volleyball, I also think is
one of the more interesting sports towatch. I've got nothing against basketball.
I played basketball when I was inhigh school. I also played volleyball when

(11:43):
I was in high school, andI feel like I would rather watch volleyball
than basketball in my opinion, atany level, at any level, it
was just like boom boom. Itwas really really really cool. So if
you're one of our local listeners orviewers, like you should really come to
a game. It's worth it.That would be fun. I want to
put a group together. I wantlike yeah, and we'll be like your

(12:05):
cheering section. Oh gosh, that'snice. We're gonna get your face,
print it out, we're gonna putit onto six he had When I got
there, they had like a camerain my face the whole time, and
I was like, if you runa second of that on the jumbo tron.
I was like, I have beenup since three o'clock in the morning

(12:28):
without a nap. No, yeah, get her up there, get her
up there, put her socials upthere, get it. Let's get a
buns in banter, like little yeah, ten second video that they can play
on the jumbo tron intro. Yes, because they've invited me. They're like,
oh my gosh, shout out yourshow is what you do. And
I was like, okay, yeah, we'll just give me a good thirty

(12:48):
seconds to run down the stuff.Put seriously though, I'm right, yeah,
it was cool. I just man, I felt I felt like the
Shania Twain song needed to start, and I feel like a woman, That's
what I felt like. It wasa good knife. Should it should be
played after the national anthem at everywoman's sporting event. It should be played,

(13:11):
and we will all remain standing, hands over our hearts, thank you.
Yes, one hundred percent. There'sa possibility I have offended like twice
now in the last like four minutes. I don't know how people feel about
religion or the fact that I justwas like, should I Twain deserves the
same respect as our national anthem? This is real, This is unfiltered.
This is real. This is whyyou come here. Did you watch Sultburn?

(13:33):
No? Okay, okay, that'sfine. I can't get a moment.
I try. I started it,yeah, and then my kid got
up. I know I can.I still haven't watched Barbie. Oh okay,
but yeah, I can't judge youas I haven't watched Sultburn. I
mean, I don't think they're thesame thing. No, I don't like
one is like very much necessary tolive in the world as a woman.

(13:56):
Oh, I do know my Saltburncharacter. Oh, and I haven't watched
it, so I thought it wouldbe fun for you to tell me.
Okay, I know mine too.Oh did you? Yeah? I did
it on banks TikTok on TikTok doesyeah, okay, what is his name?
Where did it go? Oh?No, where did my TikTok go?

(14:22):
Did they take it down? BecauseI was just so amazing. I
hate when they do that. Idon't know. No, I don't know
who. I don't know where itis. It was. It was the
guy not with the bigger nose.It was a lordy character, Jacob a
Lordie that one me too, metoo? So what does he do?
He's like the main character Felix,so he does some weird stuff. Then

(14:46):
no, he doesn't, He's notin the bathtub. It's just Oliver who
does the weird stars. Okay,Berry Kyogan. I think that's how you
say it. I think it's kyogan. I've done a ton of stories about
it, and I just don't Ijust say Barry, yeah, which I
mean, oh burn Barry. Thereare not a lot of berries in Hollywood,
so it's kind of a good name. So that's probably great for us

(15:07):
to have. We do have maincharacter energy. We're just very afraid of
ever hyping our main character energy. It's true. We're not good at self
promotion. No, I can't.There were so many people that shot me
DMS last type and said, Ididn't know you're a PA announcer. I
was like, that is because Iam terrified of talking about myself. Yep
unsure. So you know, untiluntil you're like really good at I do

(15:28):
the same thing. Until I'm likereally good at something, I don't talk
about it. Nope, that wasn'tme. My god look alike apparently so
excited for you though. That's epic, and I really do think we should
make a little bit more effort forlike a sports What would be the sport
you would love to call? BecauseI think I could fake my way through

(15:48):
golf. I would love to dogolf as well. I would love it.
Seems no offense, it seems sosimple it and it's so cold.
Yeah, yeah, hyped, Iknow, but I feel like we could
bring a real pitch perfect energy toDame. You know, yeah, Elizabeth
Banks. And who is that guy? I can never remember his name.
We're going to google him too, because we were talking about this and I

(16:11):
felt so bad. I'm like, man, he's in so many things.
He's such a funny guy and nobodyever he was in Crashers. Yeah,
like he's resident funny guy. Buthe's not even top building the cast.
Well, they don't have a hugeparty. John Michael Higgins, John Michael
Higgins, I've never heard that namein my life, but you know who
know who it is, but youknow who is super famous, And I

(16:33):
really think that we could That wouldbe amazing. Yeah, golf. I'm
telling you. My friend Tim saidthe same thing. He goes, I
want you to start commentating the NFL, and I was like, then we
would once again be seeing a lotof Taylor Swift. Yeah, yeah,
I'd be like, oh, thatlooked like a down But did you see
the puffy jacket that our designer justput onte? I know, I do

(16:57):
love I think it is it juicecheck? Is that how you pronounce I
think so the last name. Idon't know much about him, but I
know that he's a very supportive husbandand his wife is making all of these
clothes and she made Taylor Swifted jacketfor the Chief credible and every post about

(17:18):
this like jacket that she made.I think his name's Kyle. Is it
Kyle j Right? He's like inthe comments being like made by Kylie is
it Kylie? No? Or Kyleor his wife John his wife? His
wife. We're really good at supportingwomen. I know of her right,
her love her stuff. Yeah, but I think that that is so cute.

(17:41):
He's like hyping her up at thesame time that he's like playing professional
football and she's like making clothes, not even for the team that he plays
on. Man, we have talkedabout this on the pod before. I
think it is an absolute pillar ofa relationship, whether you just started dating
and you're wondering if this is agood fit or you're thinking about that next
level, you have to have atleast a percentage of a hype boyfriend,

(18:06):
hype girlfriend whatever. They've got tobe proud of what you're doing, and
they've got to be public about it. They don't they don't have to be
in my opinion, they don't haveto be like proud of it. Well,
yeah, they've got to be kindof proud of it. But all
you're doing. Yeah, but Ithink of like lean into the cringe,
like on social media. A lotof people post cringe stuff on social media

(18:26):
because it gets hits and like ithelps you grow your platform. So you
have to be like cringey a certainamount of time in order to like grow
the following. And I feel likeyou just have to have someone who like
tolerates that and like understands it.Yeah, oh yeah, yeah, you
know. That's a good definition oflike an insta boyfriend too. Like you
don't even have to love the stuffI post. You don't have to understand

(18:48):
it. You just have to,like you just have to be supportive and
be like, yeah you do you. I already feel bad enough about it.
I don't need you to join in. Just say cringe up. I
know were making things happen. Lookat you go, I know, look
at you go. Gosh, man, man, oh man, I've got
an update. I was I didyou see my eyes? I was like,

(19:11):
can I ask? I said,we didn't really discuss it before.
We're in the app, and Ididn't run this by him either. So
this is a show our favorite.Yeah, okay, I'm just gonna rip
the band aid off. I havea boyfriend and he's meeting my parents this
weekend. What. Yeah, Ididn't even know this crazy, right we

(19:37):
have We have a labeled relations labeledit's labeled I didn't meeting your parents.
I'm yeah, we're meeting the parents. And it's like a really weird.
Oh it's a big step. Wheneveryone I talk to keep saying so soon,
and I'm like, is it toosoon? No? When's too soon
to meet the parents? So Iwould not I don't listen to other people

(20:00):
about timeline, Like please step off, lindsay you got married after four months
of dating. I literally don't needyour advice on anything. Right, Is
this is this the gentleman that youhad known from the past? Yes,
not too soon? Oh this isso sweet. Okay, so full story
because I feel like okay, yeah, no, it's totally fine. We

(20:21):
knew each other when we were kids. Our dad's coached football together, so
like joking, we didn't know. But like when we were kids, we
both had like the biggest crushes oneach other. Oh my god, and
we just like never knew that becausewe were six and eight and like sort
of like six and nine or whatever. But like we were children. So

(20:45):
then obviously, like life carries onand you just like go your separate ways
and like do your own thing.Apparently we both been in grand rapids for
like the last fifteen years and wejust like didn't even know because the planets
had to align and here we are. So yeah, so we like reconnected
on a dating app, which there'sa difference of opinion in when he reached

(21:08):
out the first time. He saysthat he reached out to me for the
first time like over a year ago. I don't remember him good reaching out.
You guys are already having the argumentabout who liked wo long, I'm
so excited but anyways, boyfriend boyfriend, and like you're you're saying it really

(21:33):
excitedly, Yeah, which is Iam excited? Yeah? No, I
I like I like him Oh shit, this is great, Like you were
dating, like, but it's suchlike a foreign thing and I'm trying not
to be like obnoxious about it,but I'm I think you should be.
I think you deserve to be.But yeah, thank good. And he's

(21:56):
meeting my parents this weekend. Likewe we know each other's parents because our
dad's coached together, so obviously there'sa relationship there. Our parents don't really
keep in touch that much either,so I'm like re meeting his parents,
which is like a weird layer becausewe're like, is it weird that we
already feel like we already know thesepeople but we really don't. Yeah,

(22:18):
we really don't. And you weredifferent, I mean, like you're not
six and eight, right, It'sso cool. I know it's it's pretty
cute. But everyone that I like, I just told my my co host,
my morning show co host about itafter your morning show. It's fine,
that's fine. I mean, likeyou you knew about him. He
also found out today, I mymorning show co host, so like,

(22:45):
no, no, it's a matterof like hours that you're finding out it.
For man, I'm just so excitedit was labeled. I didn't know
it was Oh yeah, it waslabeled yeah beautiful, and you guys are
both going to the east side. Then we are. So it's my my
mom and dad's birthdays. My dad'sbirthday was yesterday, my mom's birthday is
today, So we're going to celebratetheir birthday this weekend. And then,

(23:08):
in a weird also other coincidence, his mom lives in the subdivision, like
right across a way from my parents. This could not be more This is
gonna be a Hallmark movie. Ohmy god. So I think we're just
gonna like grab dinner with his mommate his sister when like cut through the

(23:29):
backyards and just get to the house. I mean we could we could that.
This is so great, This isso cool. So yeah, how
soon is too soon to meet theparents? Like if you just had to
be like, that's too soon.I do think it was weird when I
had my first college boyfriend, likethe way things, the way the cards

(23:53):
fell. He was there when myparents like came to pick me up.
I didn't have a car my firstyear of college, so he was there
when my parents came to pick meup for Thanksgiving break and we'd met together
like four weeks. Oh, Idon't think that's weird. I was like,
well, because then like they knockedon my dorm room door, and

(24:14):
I was down because I lived intraditional housing, so I was down in
the community bathroom. Yeah, andthen he opened it, so he was
like hello in his athleisure where Iguess I will say, and my mom's
like hello, and I was like, oh my god, this is my
boyfriend. That was not like great, especially because he was four years older

(24:37):
than me. Oh my god,my dad dad keeled over. Oh love
that. Yeah, what dorm areyou in? Kissler? Same? Yeah,
girl land up on the fourth floor. Oh yeah, yeah. So
probably that was a little too soon, maybe, but okay, it was
like who I'm married to now? They met him because we were friends first,

(25:00):
we weren't dating. So then whenI brought him home once, I
was like, we're dating. Mymom's like really, It's like yes,
but why But that ended up workingout fine. Yeah, well you know
we've been we've been dating for likea month and a half, so we're
actually not much longer than that. But you have the history. I know.

(25:22):
That's why it does feel a littlebit different than another person, and
like it it feels My co hostwas like this seems like fast for you,
like usually you are not. Yeah, well that's fair, quite as
motivated to like dive in the waythat you are, and like I don't.
I don't feel like I'm diving in. I feel like it's just like

(25:45):
convenient, like I'm going home thisweekend for my parents' birthdays, and like
he is, can also get atrip in to see his family and they
lived down the street, and likeeverybody used to know each other. So
it doesn't feel like the steaks areas high as it would if I was
meeting total strangers. That being said, still nervous, yeah, I mean

(26:07):
absolutely still nervous, but it justfeels right, oh god, yeah,
yeah. You know. I don'tlike talking about this kind of stuff because
I don't like to tempt fate.I don't like to tempt the universe.
Like when things are going well,I just like to keep to myself and

(26:29):
like, if it's broke, don'tfix it exactly, Like I don't want
to. I don't want because assoon as something starts going good and you're
excited about it, something terrible goeswrong. Find Out he's got a life,
find out he's got a wife andkids. It would be terrible,
but not the case, but notthe case. Just doing like a like

(26:52):
a dinner, like a chill dinner. I think dinner with his side will
like we'll go out and then likeI'm I'm not worried for him to come
to my parents' house, but likewe'll just be hanging out at my parents
house. We're gonna have pizza andlike have drinks and stuff, which is
sick usually when stuff. But mymy niece is like really excited to meet

(27:14):
him. Oh my god, andshe is a wild card, wild card,
so I was this one sick.So I am, like, I'm
more nervous about that than my parents, because like kids, if kids will
just say it to your face, yes, and they have no shits,

(27:37):
they are savage, honest beings.I will be honest. I have had
hurt feelings before and then and thenyou have to collect yourself and think like,
no, I'm the adult in thissituation. This shouldn't affect me,
Like, so we're hoping for thebest. I am now trading spots with
you where I'm so stoked for thechaos, yes, yes, six and

(28:00):
meeting the new boyfriend. Yeah, but you know what you're gonna get an
honest rundown. I it's priceless,and I like, I'm like this would
be funny to post on TikTok likeI should. But then like the update,
like I haven't told anybody about this, so I'm literally gonna be like,
hi, it's me. A coupleupdates. A lot has happened.

(28:22):
I've got a boyfriend, he's meetingmy parents. Here's how that's gonna go.
Actually, that is a really funI feel like it would be really
funny. And then just film becausemy mom is also like super awkward like
me, I know exactly where Iget it from. And she's already she
has called me every day this weeklike okay, so like, what's the
plan again, What's like, what'shappening? What should I I'm like,

(28:45):
relax, write me out a listof conversational topics that are okay. Yeah,
but mostly she just like has quitelike how are your mom and dad?
I haven't seen him in twenty fiveyears? Oh so jokingly, I
know, jokingly, we refer tolike the period of time that we didn't
know each other. We just likewe call that our twenty five year break,

(29:08):
Like we just took a twenty fiveyear break. I don't think we
could get better at us so cute. He's always like, you know,
I really wish we never took thattwenty five year break. I know,
so far as third person in thecombo, he's saying some nice things.
Yeah, and he did. He. I would say that he met my

(29:30):
friends pretty early on in the inthe situation as well, because it just
the way it fell. Yeah,New Year's Eve. It was just like
a he met them on New Year'sEve? Do you have a New Year's
Eve? Kiss of goly? Iwe have like been so deprived, deprived

(29:52):
of each other. Well, it'sbeen going, it's been going so well.
So I've been quiet because I'm like, that's I don't want to mess
it up. I don't want Idon't know what relationship gods are listening or
what mood they're in, but Ireally enjoy this right now. Yeah,
it's been a long time since I'vebeen since I've like met parents. Are
you guys driving over together together?Which was another thing that he was worried

(30:17):
about because I'm driving and he's like, are your parents gonna think I'm a
deadbeat for like not driving? I'mlike, no, they're not gonna they're
not gonna think that, but Ilove that he asked it. Yeah,
no, but like you should pumpher gas on the way home because it's
gonna be so cold to girl.So I already filled up. Oh of
course you did. I already filledout, and I got an oil change

(30:37):
yesterday, and I went to thecar wash and like vacuumed out my car
because it's like so full of doghair. And I'm like, nobody wants
to ride in my dirty as carfor two and a half hours. So,
yeah, what does Fran think ofhim? Oh, Fran is a
special lady, as we know, and I can tell that she like,
she really wants to like him.She really wants to like him, but

(31:00):
she's just like and she's a littlebit older now, which I think it's
getting tougher to introduce her to newpeople as she gets older. Fran is
my behaviorally challenged seven year old pippoleangel. She is so sweet once you
make it into the inner circle. But man, she's making it really tough
for him. Yeah, she is. It's also probably hard though that she

(31:23):
is seeing her best friend forever withsome other love in her life. Yes,
yes, she loved my ex Ohthey were. They were like best
buds. So's fan will give youa pass on that. Yeah, and
like there was one other guy thatI dated, the British guy. She

(31:47):
also loved him. Okay, butthat was five years ago. Yeah,
yep, he's probably she's set inher ways for a bit and he will
get in that circle. That's That'skind of what I'm thinking, Like,
we just we really have to playthe long game. But he wants it
so bad. That's he wants itso bad. And I'm like, no,

(32:08):
I totally get that. But that'sworking against you because she can sense
that, and she's gonna make youworking harder. Yeah. So I wish
I had any other word that Icould use except cute. Right now,
I'm just like geming over how freakingsweet this is. I'm so excited for
your weekend. Yeah, I thinkit's gonna be amazing. I should have

(32:30):
lots of updates, but like, def next week, TikTok right, I'm
gonna try. I'd love it ifyou could film too, like her talking
to him. Yeah, I mute, and then you'll just write out what
the dialogue. Oh my gosh,it's gonna be brillan it's gonna be brilliant,
perfect, perfectly brilliant. Yep,so look at us, great good

(32:50):
times. We're doing it. We'reGod love, religion, sports, hashtag,
buns banter. You're gonna get yourkid baptized, not in the river
Jordan. But my moose parents areso relieved. I'm not gonna end up
a crazy dog lady. Jury's out. We don't know yet, but some

(33:13):
serious effort coming from this gentleman, some serious efforts. We love it,
and probably by next year you andI will be like calling NFL games for
like Fox Sports a living, makingmillions of dollars m I'd actually like to
retire, Oh yeah, like tomorrow, like right now. Yeah,
