Hit the snooze button too many times. Here's what you missed. It's the
Mike and Diane Show, a ninetyfive point one WayV and we've got a
shout out to one of Mike's favoriteplaces to take the kids. Oh boy,
Cape May Park and Zoo. OhI love this. Where are we

(00:22):
going? Who were saying thank youto? Well? They were voted one
of the top three free attractions inthe US by the readers of USA Today
and a panel of travel experts. So I want to say congratulations. And
they're not three, top two, three, top three in the United States.
That's pretty amazing. That's awesome. So congratulations to the Cape Mayzoo.

(00:44):
The zoo was in the news recentlybecause the North Jersey gentleman left his whole
estate one point four million to theCape Mayzoo, the single largest donation ever.
What an amazing thing to do.This guy just fell in love with
the zoo and left his estate. So I was happy to hear that.
But I wanted to let you know, if you need a smile during the
day, if you're having a roughday at work, just go on Facebook,

(01:07):
onto the Cape May zoos Facebook page. And I was on there last
week and Jilly the Cow was onthere for Happy Cow Appreciation Day. She's
the official zoo greeder. Mike,I'm sure you've seen Jilly, of course.
And my favorite was the post withBaitar the snow leopard. This photography
another shout out to zoo keeper Jenbecause she got the photo credit and it

(01:32):
was really just amazing and educational becausethe post was talking about how the snow
leopards handle the hot weather because it'sbeen so hot, and so I learned
a lot on that and just thephoto was absolutely amazing. So Cape May
County Park and Zoo, thank youfor what you do and we will come
to visit you soon. Ninety fivepoint one WayV. It's Mike and Diane

(01:55):
and Joey Fittone from Innsync. Kate, Joey, how you do good.
We are so excited you're coming toAtlantic City this Friday night Ocean Casino Resort
with AJ McLain from the Backstreet Boys. That is going to be a legendary
night, for sure. It isa legendary. We've been having such a
darn blast. You have no ideait's been in such a great time,

(02:19):
you know, we've been doing thisnow, gosh, almost a couple of
months now we've we've had like weonly first put out like ten dates.
I believe we added like thirty nowit's almost like up the forty dates that
we've been doing these shows. Andit's just a fun show. When people
say it, you know you listeningto actually boys songs, You're hearing INSANCT
songs. There's a whole bunch ofsongs in between. We have this dice
that we this big blow up diethat we throw out in the audience.

(02:40):
It rolls around when the music stops, almost like hot potato. We actually
have a list of different random songsthat every night we pretty much changed them.
So every night you're seeing a different, you know, different show that
you never know what's really going tohappen. We throw in some eighties too,
and some nineties tunes. It's it'sjust such a great time to go
down memory lane and have a blast. It honestly just sounds like more a
party for you guys. Yeah, like it sounds shit for you guys.

(03:02):
Basically, I don't blame you ifwe're keeping it going. It does sound
like a lot of fun. Well, you know what me and AJ are
really Hams. We love to perform. I mean that's something that we've always
wanted to do things together. We'vedone a few shows together where it was
kind of like a rap pack idea. I did it in Vegas where it
was myself, Wanie Morris from Boysto Men, Nick Carter, and AJ.

(03:23):
We did a four night stent, kind of a proof of concept.
This idea came up because prior tothat, I was doing a show called
Joey Patona Friends. So it wasmyself and then other celebrities that I've had.
So we started doing that and thenit was like me and A J
did this show and I was like, hey, want you to do this
show. We'll do like a ninetyshow, see if it works maybe kind
of a proof of concept, andif it works, well, maybe let's
let's take this on the road.Yeah, And that's kind of how it

(03:44):
happened. We did that one inTampa. It was like a ninety show,
and then we did it for acorporate event at F one in Vegas
and we're like, you know what, let's try and see if this works
for corporate as well. Obviously, our age bracket is right around that area.
Now it's in thirties and forties,so it worked out very well.
So again, like I said,we we kind of put this out tour
and it's been great. It's forthe pleft. Well, speaking of age
bracket, hit you hit me deadon. I'm thirty seven, So there

(04:09):
you go. Prom I thought youguys hated each other. What happened the
nineties rivalry is not alive. NeverWe never really hated each other, just
that they just never put us togetherin a sense that everybody was. You
know, I guess obviously we havethe same management team and you want,
you know, financially and you know, gaining momentum. You know, you
put them against each other. Yousay, all right, well, since

(04:30):
you know in sinc is doing CocaCola, actually too, do PEPSI in
Sing's doing McDonald's, let actually doBurger. So yeah, it was that
back in the day. It reallywasn't any I think the only animosity was
a j and Chris they had Theyboth dated the same girl, but it
was different times. The why theyhad the beef it was silly, but

(04:51):
it wasn't even like an overlap. They was completely separate times. So that
was really the only honest thing thatever was like, oh, are you
guys? But other than that,no, we're pretty good. I mean,
like I said, Aja is veryme and and were very similar in
the sense of performing and getting outthere and just love doing what we do.
And honestly, and we say thisevery time in the show and it's

(05:12):
the truth. You know, wedon't have to do this show, you
know, we we really love doingsomething like this and we want to kind
of like thank the fans for alwaysbeing for for myself as far as a
group in and Backstreets. So it'skind of a cool thing to see In
Sync and Backstreet Boys fans together inthe same room, which is interesting too.
No fight yet, thank goodness,No good half the room singing half

(05:34):
the songs, the other half issinging the other half. Like I'm holding
this rivalry now. You know. It's really amazing because it's like some people
have written, you know, messagesand DM saying listen, I've never been
an en Sync fan, but wow, I mean, what are great songs
or vice versa. It's like I'venever been or I've never been an AJ
fan, and now I've been ana J fan or I've never been a
Joey fan and now and it's reallycool to see that. It's been fun.

(05:55):
That is awesome. Do you havea favorite and sync song and favorite
Backstreet So? Are they like babieswhere you can't pick your favorite in the
show that we do too well? The favorite en sing one that I do
and I think it's just funn isI do tearing Up my Heart, but
I do it more of a jazzversion of it. Hopefully we flip it
and spin it. And that's theother thing that we do. We do
experiment. We'll try to do differentsongs and flip it. We do the

(06:18):
call Backstreet Boy, the Call, but it's more of a Latin version as
well. But the one I loveis Tearing at my Heart, and then
the other one I do it iswhich one is it? We do a
whole bunch of love ballads. ButI think the Backstreet Boy for me is
oh got I got to think thename of the song of it though a
quick playing games quip play it's myheart. Oh that's a great one.

(06:38):
That's great one. And you havethat son that's my favorite. You have
that seven piece live band, soit's nice that you can change it up.
Yeah, Well, that's the greatestthing. About the band. We
can start, we can stop.We have a horn section we have.
It's it's I love with a liveband because you can stop and start anytime.
Yeah, we do that. Weyou know, we we play songs,
but it is like I said, when we do these Dice songs,

(06:59):
we don't sing the wh song willsing like a verse chorus, verse and
then all right, let's go nextsong and we'll rip that because we want
to get as many songs as wecan in which is which is a black
Like I said, he even likeAJ does like on the list, we
have like no digities on there. We Transvestite from Rocky Horror Picture Show.
We do like Little Mermaid from thePart of Your World Live My Little Mermaid

(07:20):
again. It's all these random Dicesongs that we do and then again again
between we do of course the lovebalance by in singing Backstreet and a whole
bunch of other fun stuff that Idon't want to give away. But yeah,
it's great again. We're talking toJoey Fatone from and saying talking about
his show coming up, and Igotta be honest, Joey, I'm gonna
be there with my wife. I'mconcerned that my wife will fall back into

(07:43):
the one time I saw her losermind, which was a Backshe Boys concert.
She's she's the most cool, calm, collected girl I've ever met in
my life. I took her toa Backstreet Boys concert and we were in
the pit. She plants herself onthat stage and she's like, this is
my time. Yea. For me, I will say, it is pretty
amazing to see a lot of thewomen that come out and see the shows
because they revert back to their childhoodwhen they were younger, and it's it's

(08:09):
it's quite amazing to see grown womenlike you look at you, you see
like just the their innocence is thechild remembering these songs, yes, and
taking them back to those places.Yeah, And it's it's truly a great
feeling, it really is. It'sjust one of those things where it's like,
you know, let's take you back, you know, give us two
and a half hours, ninety minutes, just to have fun and enjoy yourselves,

(08:31):
you know. And so many peoplehave said that, and again that's
kind of why we keep doing thisshow, and people like, well,
what are you doing because obviously, for me myself, I'm not promoting a
song or an album or anything else. It's literally, let's do this tour.
Let's have some fun, and let'sjust show the people just thanking them,
say they thanks for being there forus fun. Nostalgia is a powerful
thing. And speaking of nostalgia andlore, Joey, this is going to

(08:54):
be something that I'm gonna throw atyou that has lived in lore in my
high school friends group chat for avery long time. Okay, we have
no idea why. In two thousandand five I graduated high school. At
our homecoming football game in Coltsnack HighSchool, we looked on the sideline and
Joey Fatone is standing on the sidelineof the Coultneck High School homecoming game.

(09:18):
Really, and we have no ideawhy. I have waited twenty years there
ask you what what's going on?So? Where was that again? I
was gonna say, do you rememberthis? Yeah? You were at a
high school football game in central NewWas that the pillow fight? No?

(09:39):
I don't might have it might havebeen. Hey, wait where was it
again? Coltsnack High School in MammothCounty, New Jersey. Wow, I
gotta remember. I couldn't even tellyou. I might have been there.
For it. Maybe it is afew times a dance competition, maybe from
a family member. It could havebeen a football game. I remember one
time I did a fight. Literallyremember where the heck I was in some

(10:03):
college stadium. It was random.I'm trying to think of what. I
don't even know. Yeah, whenwe were performing, No, there was
two thousand and five, so wewe I just remember all of us looked
down and somebody was like, isthat Joey Fatone? Like, now you
know what it might have been? My, my, my, uh my
cousin might have been the doctor forthe football team. I love kidding.

(10:26):
He might have been, like Ican't remember, it was like a physical
therapist something. I might have wentto the game it was in. Where
was it Exacut's a jersey or somethingthat are Colts New Jersey Colt snack fight.
But it's a possibility. Now thatyou're saying that, I'm trying to
remember, I'm like, goshly thatwas a minute ago. I wouldn't mind
knowing more about the pillow fight. But we can find out about that next

(10:46):
ECID. It was the guns GuinnessBook of World Record pillow fight they had.
I think somebody else already beat it, but we did it to where
it was in like in the stadium, and then they had all these little
pillows, and Motel did it towhere we did a pillow. You know
what I remember as I do thethings I do people, Yeah, I
know, also voicing the voice offamily. Yes. Also I watch Common

(11:09):
Knowledge all the time on Game ShowNetwork and my hubby and I got my
You're welcome. My hubby and Igo around the house saying it is.
I love it. Do you haveany more game shows coming up? Because
I think you're fantastic. Love I'dlove to do more game shows. Well,
how to blast doing those shows? You know, it's it's a combination
of of of Well sometimes it's timeconsuming. This it takes a big chunk

(11:33):
out, but however, you getthe shows done fast. I mean I
was doing six shows a day, five days a week for about two and
a half marks we bang out.We banged that about one hundred and thirty
episodes. It is it is,it is not. It's no joke.
I mean we're literally doing six showsa day. They take about an hour's
show, and then you're constantly I'mconstantly reading prompters and hearing people in my
ear and like after the third orfourth show, your brain such a little

(11:56):
it's a little, a little littlewacky. Yeah, but you know you
manage. But I mean again,i'd love to do that. I'm in
the works of possibly doing some othertelevision shows, just little things in the
works, trying to figure that out. Hopefully it'll work. But navigating through
life and doing this show has beenhas been a blast. Like again for
me. Now I get to pickand choose kind of the things that I
want to do. I don't reallyhave to do them, thank goodness.

(12:16):
But I love performing, love entertaining. So hopefully down the future I'll be
able to do some more shows andmaybe I'll I love to go back to
Broadway as well. It's all willingto do. Yes, definitely, we
want you and brought back to Broadway. I love it. You never know.
That's what I love about you,Joey Fatone. You're a multifaceted,
multi talented, and we're going tosee you Friday night with AJ McClain from

(12:37):
the Backstreet Boys at Ovation Hall atthe gorgeous Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City.
Everyone can get tickets at the oceanacdot com. And we're celebrating wayv's
fiftieth birthday and has been such ajoy to hook up our radio family members
with some tickets to your show.So a lot of Mike and Diane listeners

(12:58):
are going to be there on Fridaynight, just having a great time.
I love happy, happy f forw A ya. That's awesome, Thank
you, God speed to the ladiesas well. Yes, Nostalgia is gonna
have hard. It's gonna again. It's gonna be a blast. We have
again. We have such a goodtime. I hope you guys have a
great time watching it. You know, like I said, we we enjoy.

(13:18):
We feed off the audience, sosometimes we even go over. We
don't even care if people get Weget yelled at all the time for just
keep on going. That is awesome. Well, Joey Fittone, thank you
so much for checking into the Mikeand Diane Show. No problem. We'll
see you Friday, and we'll seethis Friday date Sea then twenty five point
one w A YV. And there'sonly one place one of my favorite news

(13:41):
stories and probably one of my favoriteside gigs could go. It's right here.
I've just been handed an urgent andhorrifying news story, and I need
all of you to stop what you'redoing and listen. No, well I
don't. I'm gonna have to doa little dancing on this one, Diane.

(14:03):
And I'm actually still trying to decidewhich one of this guy's two jobs
I'd like to tell you first, and have you guessed the other one?
Okay, because oh my god, these are two wild jobs. All right,
So I think I've decided he's atwenty eight year old works well,

(14:24):
I can't tell you that yet,Oh bud, he's uh, he just
got busted for call it an escortsting. Okay, gotcha, But he
has another job. The question isthis person works two jobs. One as
an escort and that's being, youknow, polite with the word. What

(14:46):
is the other job he does?I couldn't even imagine. It's gotta be
something that's completely opposite from that justout there. He is circus clown?
What come on? I mean,I guess when you really think about it,
I guess that makes a lot ofsense. But oh my god,

(15:09):
the amazing Franco has been offering toperform blankety blank blank blank blank blank and
an online ad for one hundred dollarsan hour. But unfortunately for him,
the person who agreed to meet himfor that little blankety blank blank blank side
hustle wasn't undercover cop. Okay, yeah, but he was not in his
clown costume. That part's not inhere. I don't know, Okay,

(15:33):
I'm gonna pretend it is wondering.Yeah, you never know what people are
into. So yes, that's thispart of the story I'm gonna make up.
He was in his clown costume allthe time in the car, in
the little old vwttle car. Yeah, Hurt came in thirty eight people in
the back seat. He was hustling, he was multitasking. Yeah, he
was having a good time. Youknow, it's tough world out there.
We gotta got to do what yougotta do. Yeah, don't ask me

(15:56):
about my third and fourth jobs.Oh please do tell no, that's it
music. Mike and Diane's second dateupdate on ninety five point one w A
y V. Jordan from Summer's Pointis looking for a second date update with
a woman named Fay. Good morning, Jordan, good morning, Thanks,

(16:18):
thank you so much for helping me. Oh you're welcome. Yeah, I
hope we can do that. Sofirst step, please tell us about Fay
and your first date. It wasthe most perfect date I could ever conceive.
I went picnic on the beach.Lo I like that, right?
Did you have some champagne with that? I mean, I mean, did

(16:44):
you disguise the champagne on that? There you go? I definitely. I
definitely had a sleeve of red solosready to go, and the cooler was
packed. Oh nice. Yeah, that that's really nice. So tell us
everything on the date seemed to gookay. She liked that idea of a
picnic. She was a little apprehensiveat first, but when we got there,

(17:07):
I mean, it was just beautifuland the ways were crashing like it
was. We picked the right time. It wasn't that busy, and we
had the you know, blankets setout, food. I put together my
own charcouterie, plus plus drinks.I mean, I was crushing it.
Wow, that sounds really that soundslike a date from The Bachelor. Yeah,
I like it. No seagull allright, you taught me. That's

(17:30):
where I got it. No seagullincidents with the food. Everything is good,
I'm hoping. Yeah, yeah, yeah, we totally lucked out as
far as that went, so,I mean, and I'm surprised with how
well it went and how you know, nice it was put together that you
know, she didn't really respond toit. Well, I don't know why
not, because it sounds lovely tome. No guy's ever done that for

(17:53):
me. No, I gotta say, no guy's ever done that for me.
No. No, we're in thesame boat. So what we will
do, Jordan, is we'll putyou on hold, We'll play a song,
We'll try to get Fay on thephone, at least get some answers,
because I'm assuming you haven't heard anythingfrom her. No silent, okay,
And I reached out like three times. Oh man, good boy.

(18:14):
Okay. So that is coming upnext. Ninety five point one Way V.
Ninety five point one WayV with Mikeand Diane. Second date update.
A few minutes ago, Jordan toldus about his first date with Faye,
a beach picnic. Jordan uh madeup a charcouterie board, had a little
champagne and it sounded good to us. But he hasn't heard anything back from

(18:37):
Fay. So let's get right toit. Yes, let's give her a
call, see if we can findout why she's avoiding you. Jordan,
here we go. Hello, Hi, is this Fay Yeah? Say,
this is Mike and Diane from ninetyfive point one WayV Radio, South Jersey's

(19:00):
number one hit music station. Bythe way, we host Hi there.
We hosted the starting radio show. And I know it's strange that we're calling,
but just wondering if you may havea few minutes because a guy named
Jordan called us. He listens toour show, and he was telling us

(19:21):
that he went on a date withyou. He described the date. He
doesn't understand why you're not getting backto him. He's tried to reach out
so on his behalf. If youhave a few minutes, we would love
to get some answers for him, please a sure? Yeah? Ah,
all right, Well how was thedate for you? He mentioned a charcouterie
board and a picnic on the beach. I mean the date itself was nice.

(19:48):
Yeah, we had great conversation, but I don't know, I got
this really weird vibe during the date, because like he was asking me where
I'm from and where I live now, and you know, I have a
great apartment and whatnot. And thenwhen I asked him about where he lives,
he got a little fidgety and weird, and he was just being really

(20:08):
discreet, and I was like,oh my god, am I on a
date with a serial killer? What'shappening? And so at the end I
realized he lives in his vans. That's where he lives. Man. I
don't know about you guys, butI like to go to the bathroom in
a normal bathroom. I like anormal shower. I don't want to be

(20:30):
living in a van with my boyfriend. So as nice as he is,
there could have been potential. Well, maybe that's interesting to see him again.
Maybe that's why he took it tothe beach so he can shower in
the showers that are down there. He did jump in the water, so
maybe he just wanted to take abath in the water. I think we

(20:53):
got to go right to him becausethis is a it's gotta be an easy
explanation, right, let's go tothis or a Jordan, Are you actually
calling us from the van? No? No, But I don't see why
being financially responsible is an issue.Go on, tell me more. Obviously,

(21:15):
ban life, you get your freedom, your days to yourself. You
have to spend all day working, delive wherever you want. It's always beautiful.
I have showers and bathrooms everywhere Igo. I mean, you made
a pretty good case for I mean, are we Jordan? I'm just can
I ask you one serious question? Is this a choice? Is this a

(21:36):
choice? Like? Could you getan apartment if you wanted to get an
apartment? Yes, easily? Okay, Okay, so you have money,
My van was seventy grand whoa, that's a nice pot. But like,
how do you expect to have arelationship with someone and you said you want
kids someday? Do you think thatyou're gonna just have your whole family on
the van with you and just besearching for a toilet every time kids have

(21:59):
to go to the there? Likeis not making sense for me and I'm
not interested, Like van life isnot for me. You want to RV
on vacation, sure, but no, I need to like sleep in a
nice bed and have a normal life. So it was fun, Thanks for
the picnic, but no, Okay. Do you think this is something Jordan

(22:22):
that you may do for quite awhile? Is it more of kind of
something you did on a whim forjust a short term or can you see
yourself doing this for a while oh, for sure, I mean the amount
of the amount of camping content Ican make. You know that they have
to help. I'm the healthiest I'veever been. Oh, content, We're
content creator, aren't we. Well, there are the van life people that

(22:45):
do create content. That is thatis for sure. I love watching it,
and I love watching that's great.I'll never do it. Yeah,
I love that. Yeah, Imean good for you, Jordan, because
that's it takes guts to do it. It takes a certain person. You
sound happy with the life. Yeah, I would last probably one day,
and Fay is not into it.And yeah, for now, if you're

(23:06):
happy, that's all we can askfor now. I don't even think I
can ask the question because Fay alreadyshot it down that she doesn't want a
second date. Just to confirm thatyou wouldn't want a second date, right
fe No, okay, yeah, but at this point, like I waste
my time, you know what Imean, I'm already like turn off.

(23:27):
So sorry, buddy. Yeah,I think I'm Jordan. You need someone
who has that adventurous spirit. Hardto find sometimes, but I think you
will. You will find that perfectperson for you, So good luck.
I appreciate it. I'd say it'sa Mercedes though, I mean, I
thought that's big time. Well,I don't care if it's a Mercedes,

(23:48):
I don't care. If it's likea Lamborghini or whatever. I don't care.
Jordan. If you're if your homehas a is a name brand,
has a name brand, that's probablynot as signed. Hey, I live
in adventurous lifestyle. That's my adviceto everyone. Listen, I'm with you,
I'll live with you, I'll getI'll do it to get away from

(24:10):
my kids, you know what.I'll say. Most of us are stressed
every day, and Jordan does notsound stressed. I have to give him
that. Also, he's our anumber one listener. Yeah, he's got
he's got us right in the carright. Thank you, Joran, thank
you, Best of luck to bothyou. One thousand dollars. That's one

(24:32):
thousand singles. Boy, I penciledmyself in here. Ten one hundred dollar
bills, one hundred and ten dollarsbills? How many? How many twenties
is that? Diane, Oh,don't put me on the spot like that.
Bills sounds good something like that.I'm still hung up on the ones

(24:52):
that you mentioned. Since you're goingto be going to a bachelor party.
You sure he don't. You guysdon't do this one, okay, guys
don't only wish check just checked. No, yeah, no, no,
you guys don't really do that ontheir bachelor party. We eat the ones,
We hang out by the pool andtalk smack to each other, okay,
And that's basically all we do onbachelor parties. But you can win

(25:12):
all that money. It is payyour bills here on WayV. We just
gave you the first keyword at nineo'clock. It is bonus. In case
you missed it, bo and us. You can enter that keyword at nine
to five to one WayV dot com. You could win one thousand dollars.
It's nine chances every weekday. Mike, I was thinking the vacation, the

(25:33):
summer vacation bills are going to berolling in, yep, and then just
keeping the kids busy for the restof the summer. That's not cheap,
as you know. No, no, it's not busy at all. One
thousand dollars are definitely coming in andI'm doing it, and I'm doing entertaining
them at home. It's still wildlyexpensive. I don't understand how go figure.

(25:53):
It's crazy, But listen, here'show it's gonna work. If you
do win, We're going to callyou. If you see a number and
you don't know what the number is, pick it up. Yeah, only
if you entered the contest. Though, if you didn't enter the contest,
that's on you and just ignore it. Yeah, that's on you. But
if you enter the contest, likethere's a there's a shot that call has

(26:14):
one thousand dollars on the other line. Yeah, you don't want to screen
yourself out of one thousand dollars.Like, like you say, Mike,
we normally don't answer one we don'tknow, but in this case, definitely
answer and you could win one thousanddollars. Pay your bills nine times every
