Here's the latest LGBTQ plus news fromPride Radio. It sounds downright dystopian,
but the Escambia School District in Floridahas removed the dictionary from school library shells
concerned that the book violates a Floridalaw that allows parents to request the removal
of any book that depicts or describessexual conduct. The dictionary, which contains

such definitions, has been removed,along with eight Encyclopedia's, two thesauruses,
and five editions of the Guinness Bookof World Records. The Republican led Ohio
House has overridden the governor's veto ofthe bill that would ban gender affirming care
for trans youth. The governor saidhe vetoed the bill after meeting with parents
of trans youth, saying they knewwhat was best for their own children.
