new USA USA USDA report shows Florida's agricultural acreage has
significantly shrunk while production has continued to rise. The USDA's
annual Commercial Citrus Inventory Report shows the state's overall citrus

production acreage down seventeen percent from peak levels that amid
a conversion of many farm lands for development. Nevertheless, Florida
citrus production has reached record levels, having grown by twelve
percent year every year. So what's happening is much less
farmland being used, but for what is out there higher yielding.

Fourteen year old Broward County student has been arrested for
posting school threats other threats of violence against several Broward
schools on Instagram. Broward County Shriff's office launched an investigation
into the threat after being tipped off about the social
media postings. Female students being held in a juvenile assessment
center has been charged with making written threats to kill

or conduct a mass shooting, threatening to use a destructive device,
and unlawful use of a communication device. Twenty one dogs
recently rescued from what we're described as worse than horrible
conditions from a property at Lasahachi. Our need of foster
homes and or permanent homes through adoption. The Etuaha mixed
dogs are undergoing medical treatment at the Furry Friends Humane

Ranch in Palm City. The organization said shelters are full.
They could use the public's help in caring for the animals,

Actually some morning showers out there. Already in highs near

National hurricanes that are tracking three systems. Potential tropical cyclone
six is developing in the Gulf of Mexico and is
expected to strengthen into a Category one hurricane prior to
making landfall near the Texas Louisiana border on Wednesday. A
disturbance in the Central Atlantic has a seventy percent chance
to development over the next seven days. Disturbance to the

east of it has a sixty percent chance of development.
I mean, it's worth keeping an eye on. Neither of
those are likely to be any issue for US. It'd
be a very low likelihood that they could be an
issue for US. Tomorrow marks the historical peak day of
hurricane season activity. Gas prices dropped significantly over the weekend
are the lowest since February. Average price four regular unleaded

in Florida down at three point fifteen per gallon now
it is fifteen cents lower than a week ago. Napalm
Beach is the average price this morning, three thirty five
and below the state average in both Martin and the
Indian River County at three fourteen per gallon this morning.

Just one note here, and I want to I'm going
to be watching to see if this comes up during
the debate tomorrow night. There's a Congressional report on the
twenty twenty one US withdrawal from Afghanistan which found that
hesitation from the Biden administration put Americans at risk. You
think that gets brought up at the at the poll tomorrow, Brain, Well,
we'll see.

were skeptical of that. Maybe ABC News will do something
credible as well. So there are a lot of things
that could be brought up for sure, and Trump also
might need to mind the store and where he has
his opportunities to do that if they don't
