Welcome to the Brian Mudshow.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
It's the info you need to start your day in
the Bomb Beaches and the Treasure Coast.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Yeah, hey there, Happy Tuesday.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
As we take a look at Florida's voter registration by party.
Got the update for you for the division of elections
now with all the information as to where we stood
entering the month of May. And it's another incredible story
within the state of Florida. But first, the National Republican
National Committee Chairman Michael Watley was on with Laura Trump

(00:49):
on Sunday and it's talking about election integrity and the
role that it played in last Novembers elections, but also
that they're still mine in the store in this off
election year.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
It is a constant focus of the R and C.

Speaker 4 (01:04):
If you cheat, or you help somebody else cheat, then
we are going to prosecute you to the fullest extent
of the law. It really did make a tremendous difference
in terms of the outcome on election day.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
And speaking of outcomes in Florida, of course, President Trump
dominating thirteen point victory Republicans, yet another record setting election
with more elected Republicans top to bottom in the state
than at any other time in history. And you take
a look at all the trends in what have been
playing out. You know, Democrats they always held the voter

(01:37):
registration advantage in the state until November twenty twenty one,
and Republicans have just been running away from Democrats ever since. Well,
that most certainly did continue as we take a look
at the changes entering the month of May. April turned
out to be a big month of voter reconciliation, speaking

(02:00):
of election integrity measures, a lot of voterals being cleaned
up in the state of Florida in April, and by
the time it was all said and done, yet again,
you see another record setting story for Republicans.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
So we'll start with Republicans.

Speaker 3 (02:15):
They dropped fifty seven thousand voters as roles were cleaned
up in April. Okay, fifty seven thousand fewer. Well, Democrats
dropped ninety five thousand, five hundred voters in the same
process and MPa minor party registrations. Those fell by about
one hundred and ten thousand. So you see a very

(02:38):
specific story yet again to where Republicans far and away
had the fewest loss voters much larger, almost twice as
many Democrats and then MPAs, and so year to date,
what does it look like from January first until May first?
There are just over one hundred and fifty thousand fewer

(02:58):
registered Democrats in the state of Florida, just over fifty
seven thousand fewer registered Republicans. And so you really see
yet again, I mean, it's a ninety three thousand voter
difference for Republicans just since January in this awful election year.
And so what has that led to. Well, for the
first time, Republicans hold a nine point advantage exactly a

(03:22):
nine percentage point advantage by way of voter registration over Democrats.
And when you take a look at what the actual
voter total is, the Republican advantage over Democrats now stands
at one point two five million voters, including that net
change of over thirty eight thousand, two hundred to the

(03:42):
advantage of Republicans. In April and Florida, sixty seven counties,
only nine currently had Democrat majorities.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
By way of voter registration.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
So it is clear that all the longer term trends
still very much in play and very much the Republicans friend.

Speaker 5 (03:59):
All right, good more, let's get a look at your
Florida headlines as severe thunderstorm moved through the area last night,
leaving damage behind in northwestern Palm Beach County. National Weather
